Parsha B’Shalach & Yud Shevat Chasidic Torah thought from Lubavitcher Rebbe:Rabbi Yitzchok Minkowicz

Welcome to this week's Torah lesson. This week's Torah portion is parasak. The question of the week is, what kind of lesson and inspiration could we have from this week's Torah portion for Yudvat, the holiday that's coming up that commemorates the previous Reb passing away and the Reb taking over leadership? So, in this week's Torah portion, we learn about the Jewish people finally leaving Egypt. And guess what? They leave and they turn around. The Egyptians are behind them and they become afraid. They turn to what are we doing? We could have perished in Egypt. Moenu tells them is going to fight the war the you should be quiet. And then Hashem turns to he tells him why are they screaming to me? tell the Jewish people to move to travel to move on forward. So the Reb brings 40 years ago in honor of Yuchvat based in the classic Siddic discourse of Yudvat from the previous Reb and he brings this verse and he explains that we know the med says there were four camps amongst the Jewish people. One wanted to go back, one wanted to fight war, one wanted to pray, one wanted to perish. And to all these, Hashem responds to each one of them. But the Reb points out and he brings from the zora. The zora says when Hashem says, "Why are you screaming to me?" So the zora says because it's all it's all dependent on the onic, which we know in there and it's all dependent on these high spir. That's where it's all going to happen. Not upon me. But it's all from that's what the zora says. The on the other side on the other hand says no no Hashem is saying they should move. So on one hand the the zorah says it's all depending on this high level. On the other hand it says it's depending on the Jewish people and the Reb explains and he says so obviously what do you see from here? Yes, it's dependent on but who has the power to bring down the highest levels like the Reb calls it the infinite of which is my catch. Who can bring it down to the lowest level? The Jewish people have the power. So if we do our part, we move forward, we will bring down the most powerful levels down to this world to fulfill the dream that Hashem wanted when he took us out of Egypt, we should have the ultimate redemption, which didn't happen. But we have the power by doing our part for you so to go ahead and bring the ultimate redemption. So the answer to the question what's the message from the Reb made very very clear 40 years ago in the classic m ofat we have the power to bring down the most powerful spiritual levels by doing what? moving, doing our part, learning Torah, doing mitzvah, praying, bringing someone else closer to Yiddish the so we travel, we move forward.
