fund.com website whether you brought over food whether you order drinks whether you brought over supplies whether you volunteered everyone that helped it's a whole Army of people helping in many different ways I want to thank each and every one of you we know the holiday is too cold we're sitting in a Suka right now it says three times in the Torah that you have to be happy it's all about being happy and I think it's so appropriate because the people in our community are so broken because of the hurricane because of the damage and destruction so that's why we need the turret to tell us even with your destruction even with your challenges nevertheless we still got to be happy so I want to wish each and every one of you a good young Tiff and I want to wish you a yantive of Happiness instead of happiness for the whole year now I'm going to take you a tour in our neighborhood um to the destruction of taking place many people's houses and you'll need the happiness because once you see this video it's it's impossible not to feel broken or sad for what the people are going through so I'm going to show you the video and again happy thank you all and we should all be happy despite all the challenges in our life conjunctive this is the scene of a typical house on in the neighborhood everything from in the house doors cabinets everything in the garbage hi everybody I'm going to introduce you to a neighbor of mine Scott he's going to give us a tour of what a typical House of hair is like so Scott what's that on the floor that's fence that blew down defensively and what's all this stuff over here this is this is both of my bathrooms my kitchen my living room everything drywall from the floor four foot up wow look at this no way this is all from your house yes walks can we inches of water was in the house so they had to take their rule of thumb is anything six inches or above has to come out four foot so we're four foot the entire house wow and this is a normal functioning house before the laundry room wow kitchen behind you wow there was a kitchen here once upon a time huh yeah yeah look at that wow wow no way wow look at this whole house look at this this is a this is the master yeah okay bedroom here what was this this is just a guest bedroom wow and this is what there's a whole bathroom bathroom look at this the whole house like you have a half a house basically okay you lost the bottom half this is the master this is the master wow wow wow what you wanting to generate it for what look at this walk-in closet huh yes yes wow what's going on with the pool outside can we see uh where we meet uh doing remediation on that we're using a lot of clothes to turn it back to the original color wow uh would you like to share a message with the world about your house or about the experience uh it's something that we have never been through my wife and I um what I would have to say to anybody is if if you have the insurance to rebuild rebuild it it can be overwhelming at times but get up every day and go do the same thing work on your house use your insurance and it'll be okay how are you getting through this emotionally this is terrible um that's the fact I have really Faith wow amazing amazing we'll we'll be available we'll be okay okay I love it I love the attitude the attitude is great and positive you're a great neighbor God that's where the water was no way wow that's the water line how talk to us uh it's just devastating you don't know what to do and then your cell phone doesn't work and then your email doesn't work and then you can't take pictures because you and then they tell you you got to take pictures and they tell you you can't take pictures it's just the the stuff you get from the insurance company is impossible how what can we do for you I just need a new house that's all all right you dream it God will send it highly be strong if there's anything you need you know that we're right down the street you can come by for food drink anything you need we're here for you yeah thank you all right my pleasure okay we're meeting our friend our neighbor Jason's gonna show us a little what's going on here so first of all this is the outside of his house as you can tell from just looking at the outside everything is outside beds furniture Woodwork and now Jason's very kind and he's going to give us a a tour and tell us a little reality of what happened here Jason thank you so much so come on in probably noisy with these things that's okay you'll talk loud then we have 42 inches of water inside the house all the furniture floating all the appliances and clothing it doesn't rip all the drywall out all the baseboard all the pouring very good Furniture came up here that's wow now yeah so what was this before the dining room wow for the kids to all the toys where's your fancy kitchen area this was your kitchen and I think you had a fancy kitchen if I'm on the grape you right yeah if they managed to salvage the granite countertops but everything else has to go all the cabinets and just that I got it just perfect the way I liked it and I gotta start over from scratch and rebuild it so Jason how are you hand me this emotionally physically and emotionally draining like just mental fatigue as well as physical fatigue I mean it's just you can kind of lose track of doing things and you get you know you're not as focused because there's so much to do it was overwhelming at first absolutely just staring at it not knowing where to start you know but I'm glad we're this far so you know we've got something quickly and hopefully I can get it put back together in the next three or four months so Jason what can we do for you oh good probably just check in every once in a while to make sure I haven't walked online I'm going to check make sure you lose your mind all right we'll be here for you we'll be here Jason thanks for showing us around my heart goes out to you this is like crazy this is a massive piece of a house and by the look at the view he has and he has a gorgeous view of the private uh uh Canal here with a nice well how's your boat how'd the boat be both okay both
