we're back here on our Wednesday night stump the rabbi where after some you guys will ask some questions and will give us some answers tonight's sh is for the and for shyen B Zarin and Amir Ben sh also ra s Leana s s s Leana aavid Imam and all of am is and all the righteous nois that continue to support the organization continue to help us continue to uh be part of this extraord AR organization that does just simply so much good and we had the Merit to uh to be part of it so tonight we have of course we've learned many times but tonight we're goingon to look at things a little bit differently you see starts off with a enormous test thatu andu had which is simply having kids having two children but unlike normal kids these two kids were already destined to be enemies and uh not only that they're told that this is going to be the case while Rifka is actually still pregnant now even though it seems like this is the biggest test one can have we see that the test don't stop there for and the uh and didn't start there right after that section the parasha reverses a little bit and uh goes back to a time before they had kids and there was a famine and even though the difficulties that had were not as much as his father abrah abah ainu uh we see that uh the the road that was the life of and RKA was paved with many many difficulties tonight our goal is to figure out what we can learn and apply to our lives in order to see how we can manage and prosper through our own difficulties because some people have just really really difficult lives and with these lessons you can certainly go through that road and actually succeed as a result of it regardless of what the outcome of the event that's causing so much difficulty now before we go into that I want to remind you guys a couple of things number one we have our our major film which is the biggest film we've had in two years or new is going to be released M Shabbat M Shabbat sign up subscribe to our YouTube channel to get notifications subscribe of course to our WhatsApp uh uh page and WhatsApp channels or groups so you can get the updates this movie is going to rock your life your world your community whoever is going to watch it is simply going to get a huge amount of information that's going to make them re-eval their life which brings me back to the uh second point tomorrow is the non-jewish holiday of Thanksgiving and unfortunately there are still many Jews here in America that are celebrating that holiday and we've spoken about it many times I'm not going to repeat it but one thing I noticed is that after we released the most recent clip from the chief Safari Rabbi in the world davidf saying that it's not allowed to celebrate these holidays not allowed to celebrate Thanksgiving he researched it himself yet you still have people sending me messages telling me that they understood differently they didn't really hear him say it's not allowed but maybe shouldn't I'm not really sure how they could possibly understand that where not only is the Hebrew clear but we even put English subtitles on it but nonetheless one thing that I found in common with the several people that have contacted me and try to debate the issue is that they're not looking for a uh for an answer they're looking for a justification and without repeating everything we've said many times in the past years I could say this every single person that is arguing for the case of Jews celebrating Thanksgiving is simply bringing a judgment on themsel not just because the holiday itself has a Christian origin but rather because you're going to be questioned how you celebrated the Jewish holidays how you fought for the Jewish holidays how you fought and celebrated each and every Shabbat did you fight for them tooth and nail did you argue about them did you convince everyone that this is the truth like you are doing or trying to do with uh your Thanksgiving because this is simply bringing a case against yourself you're going to be asked these questions when you go up to Sham how did you celebrate how did you enjoy how did you fight how did you protect how did you honor our shabat our Jewish holidays in comparison to this non-jewish holiday that is certainly sounds like fun but if you look at the history you realize that you're celebrating the massacre of people there's nothing fun about it so that's one thing that a person has to think the second thing is actually also shows us the same type of logic where people are scared of this film that's coming out in a couple of days because they know that one of the topics discussed in it is the cash advance the cash advance predatory business and one person just asked me a question and said wait you said that when people don't pay the loans that uh they get sued they get uh you know uh you know people call them and then you called it evil so is it evil to evict somebody that doesn't pay the rent this type of warped logic comparing renting a house renting an apartment to a predatory loan just gives you an idea of where people's minds are when their uh lunch money is on the line when their beliefs are on the line people simply are fighting for the lie at the very least as much as what we're supposed to fight for the truth so believe what you believe there are facts and everyone that has some common sense and little bit of conscience knows what the truth is and if you want the sources there's many lectures that we've done over the years about all of these topics and we have a major film coming out this m Shabbat that will add to the uh to the whole argument itself uh last but not least anyone that orders books to distribute in their Community for free from our K store kir store.org we also get one of these aatar uh boxes that you can distribute in your community as well so with that being said these are The Offspring of son of father says Ulus this is the uh literal meaning of the uh of the uh p but of course we've learned in previous years that because there was questioning by the naysayers by the idolators by the community around abam how could it be that he brought this kid to life at such an old age Hashem made a miracle and literally changed the face of to look exactly like aaham in front of everyone it wasn't that he was born with a similar face the face changed in front of everyone and then we see that we get a little bit of History was 40 years old when he married Rifka and he was 62 years old when they had children meaning they waited to have kids 22 years imagine each month waiting to see if you're pregnant and finding out the answer is no every month every month for 22 years the agony the pain and the then finally after they're pregnant aftera has these babies in her belly she doesn't realize she has babies it wasn't like today where you have all of these uh technological equipment and advancement what she sees is that when she passes by the place of idolatry that was on the road the BAC can be kicked wanting to go there when she passed by the ISA of Shem and ever the baby kicked and Rifka cries out and says if this is so what am I alive for what am I alive for meaning if my kid's going to be an idol worshipper what am I alive for wait but he also kicked for the synagogue he kicked for Thea and then hasem speaks to her if God was a propheus and he says to her not to worry my dear daughter two nations are in your inard and two kingdoms from your inard shall be separated each kingdom shall in turn overpower the other Kingdom and ultimately the older one shall be subservient to the younger one and this pacifies RKA she stops crying now when you really think about it this is even worse wait you're telling me that I have two kids that's good news but you're telling me that those two kids are going to be enemies so this pacifies her shom famously said Rifka is pacified Rifka Cales down because she now knows she has two kids one an idolator and one that is going to chase hasem his whole life looking for the truth spreading the truth and she's happy about that why is she happy about that because it's better to have one kid that's an idol worshipper and one kid that it's an evidem that's a servant of hem than having a kid that is a Idol worshipper even though he knows the truth because that's a heretic it's better to have one Idol worshipper outright and one kid that knows the truth and follows it the one confused kid so she knows she has our work cut out for her raising these kids but nonetheless she's pacified now of course we find out that isav is not just a normal kid isav grows up to be a criminal even though until they were teenagers they looked exactly alike they went to the same Yeshiva they learned the same thing the say that when the Tora says that became a skillful Hunter it's it's also because asav was fooling his father to make him think that he was righteous while he really had a tattoo of a snake on his thigh resembling his personality being a snake and as and yov constantly have issues which we'll learn more about later on why later on because then the Paras shows us one of the Endless examples of how the ran thead says the Torah is not in chronological order you could have one part of the Torah happening and then something written after it that happened before and this is exactly one of the one of the places where after we're told about they got married they had kids then we're told about a time where it was before they had kid in chapter 26 verse 1 it says there was a famine in the land aside from the first famine that had occurred in the days of Abraham and went to King of to seems like a harmless verse seems like a verse perhaps we could skip but that would be a dear mistake because teach us there is no such thing as a verse that's just there or even a single letter that's just there in the last peric which is the 10th peric the 10th chapter the G says we learned something profound after the whole story of the destruction of ham the elevation of M the migil says in chapter 10 verse number two literally just a couple of before the whole Miga is completed it says as follows all his mighty and Powerful acts and full account of the greatness of modai whom the king had promoted are recorded in the book of Chronicles of the kings of media and Persia I don't understand what do we need to know all of this why why don't you just tell me there the goomi vill says why is it that in the middle of the story or perhaps even at the end of the story The migil makes sure to let us know that there's a lot more information in another book that's because it's to make sure that you know that the Milla and the entire tanak are not story books rather the Torah is something that you must learn to the extent where you learn from each and every single verse but if you want stories you could find elsewhere so with that being said we have to look at this verse the verse in this week's par that tells us that there was a famine there was a famine in the land aside from the first famine that was in the days of aam went king of ptin what could we possibly learn from this when a person goes through life without having answers to fundamental questions it creates a suffering unlike anything else in fact when you're in the middle of some type of relationship or business transaction and the other party is not willing to give you answers for the questions you ask that is the beginning of the end one of the greatest pleasures of my life was when I first discovered the to and started learning it with r FR my dear R and started asking questions question after question questions I didn't even know I had and I got answers with sources and I've been getting answers ever since every day there's more questions and every day there's more answers this is one of the reasons why we started the AI Rabbi app because if you don't have questions about the Torah about your life most likely you're dead how could you not have questions what do you have in your head cockroaches how could you not have questions everybody has questions but unfortunately sometimes if a person doesn't try to use their brain then they're not going to have questions or the questions they have are going to be irrelevant about anything or immaterial so here we have a question why do I need to know that there was a famine at the time of ab when I'm talking about ain's life in fact why was the famine that happened at the time of Abraham which is the same test they both had both lived in a time of famine but the outcome was different different wherefor abam he had to leave Israel and go to Egypt on the other hand Hashem told him no no don't worry stay in Israel I'll take care of you why didn't hasm do the same thing for a this question is what the malim brings and these types of questions if you don't have answers for them it's better off not to ask them but when we look at the words of the sages we see that they provide us not only extraordinary answers but even more extraordinary questions our brain did not even reach yet and the malim who lived about 200 years ago was one of the key Fighters against the reform Heretics fighting them tooth and nail in every opportunity that he can but it wasn't like the fights of today where perhaps there's some exchange of videos maybe even a letter here and there and that's it in those days if you fought the Heretics you fought the reformers your life was on the line in fact at one point these Wicked reformers went to the king and convinced him to prosecute the malbim prosecute the rabbi for his statements and the King decreed a death penalty on the malim but of course aosh saves his people and there was a famous wealthy Jew righteous by name of moshim manui who came came to save the day and convinced the king to let the malim go so long as he leaves the country and does not cause any more trouble and that's what happened as AEM softened the king's heart the malim was allowed to flee the country he went to several other countries continuing to fight against the reformers each time having to leave went to Persia went to uh Prussia went to uh all types of uh places and despite all of the fights the malim still made sure to write the malim M with all of the fights with all of the agony with all the suffering that he endured still wrote one of the most profound commentaries on the and he asks the question why is the first famine mentioned in the verse and shows that abam had a test that did not have where abah had to go to Egypt while stayed in Israel because told him he'll protect them why is this the casee why is it that when you look in a mirror you see your difficulties while when you look at other people it seems like they have a perfect life they already married with kids and you feel like you can't even find somebody they already make a good living and you can barely hold a job they already have a house and you're just happy that you're able to afford the rent they all look healthy and exercising you woke up with pain and went to sleep with pain they all look like they have a good relationship with their siblings and their parents and their friends you feel alone in the world without a friend to talk to they all seem like they had a pretty smooth childhood and even smoother adulthood you're traumatized by yours and you're hoping to forget it one day there are some people that just have difficult lives sometimes difficulty comes in places where you think you were going to get a blessing for example everyone that gets married celebrates it's a blessing they don't know that sometime down the road could even be just a few months later they'll regret the day they were born needless to say the the day they got married because this person that they married literally has become their Enemy Number One and they can't wait until the divorce is over when they got married they were celebrating they were thinking about how beautiful their future is going to be together and how we're going to grow old together but now they really just rather this person get old by themsel when people have kids everybody celebrates what a wonderful thing a new person has come to the world a replication of you no one thinks about how difficult it's going to be to raise this child to be a mench to be a decent human being to be respectful when you tell them what they need to do to do their homework to pray to Hashem to say a blessing to Simply stop hitting their siblings whatever it is that you tell them no one thinks about that when the kid's born all you can think about is wow we have a kid mule no one thinks that this kid is going to make a bunch of gray hairs come to your head much sooner than they was supposed to because of how difficult he or she is difficulties in everybody's life it certainly seems like some people have much more difficult life than others but needless to say everybody's difficulty is relative to them meaning that whatever difficulty you have that's how much you can handle because that was decreed by Hashem for you to have that difficulty but why do we have these difficulties especially if somebody's trying to do chuva somebody's trying to observe Shabbat keep kosher keep modesty keep family Purity do all the good things and instead of getting what they thought they were going to get where welcoming honoring respecting by your fellow by your community by your family instead they get mocked instead they get insulted instead they get questioned with aggression seems like life got more difficult after they did chuba people have an enormous amount of difficulty in life and it's impossible to handle without the toah and that's what the answer to this question is you see the question is not just about what happened to Abraham or what happened to rather just like the G said every single verse is not here to tell you a story but rather to teach you a valuable lesson for you to apply to your life in order for you to go on the path of difficulty on the path of life that's full of bumps with complete confidence that you're going in the right direction despite the pain The Agony and the difficulty and the maim says that yes there is a question here and the question itself is profound but the answer to it is even more so in fact the answer to this question that the malbim brings is one of the fundamental things that you and every single person that you know will want to know because this will turn the difficult road ahead as well as the difficult Road that's traumatizing you from the past it'll make it very different it won't make it go away but it certainly will make you understand why you had it because everyone asks why is God doing this to me why do I have such a difficult life why this and why that say we don't ask why Hashem does what he does because his thoughts are not like our thoughts his acts are not like us his our Acts people think they could understand God people think that they could challenge God but the reality is if they simply learn what he said they'll have much more pleasant time in life and therefore the malim says the answer to the question is as follows there are several reasons of why this is the case of why the Famine of Abraham is mentioned at the time that we're discussing K's life why the test seemed like the same they both had famine but the outcome was different where hasem treated Abraham differently than he treated AB had to leave Israel and go to Egypt stayed in Israel a had all the reasons in the world to think that there must be something wrong here why because he didn't just decide one day to leave and go to Israel God told him to do it he told him go he didn't even tell him where he's going but he went he followed blly he arrives should be a blessing should be a party should be success famine he goes to Egypt they kidnap his wife he has a kid finally and then God tells him sacrifice him for me yeah but didn't you tell tell me that all the my children and descendants are going to come from how could they come from if he's dead he wasn't even married yet after he passes the test of you should be standing ovation I mean hasm himself says now I know that you fear me and all of your descendants will benefit out of this test that you passed he comes home his wife is dead he wants to bury her if pretends like he's want to give it to him for free ends up selling it to him for an inflated price the test don't finish also had tests I mean the says that the test of a bad child is worse than the suffering of goou Magog having a son like isav I don't know if there's anything worse on the planet but needless to say it would seem like not only the test of much more difficult but even the same test that they had had different outcomes and therefore says the Mal because this test of the famine was one of the tests that abrah ainu had to bring him famine and go to Egypt because the way that Abraham ainu acquired asem was only after investigating and philosophy looked at the son and he thought that the son was God but then when the sun went down and the moon went up he thought the moon was God but then the moon went down perhaps the sky perhaps the trees he was constantly looking for God until the owner of the the owner of the house said to him are you looking for me but aam rationalized philosophized investig ated he wanted Torah proofs he wanted proofs that this is real much like many people do today and there's no problem in getting proofs there's only a problem if you're stuck only at proofs if after you've received the proofs that the Torah is divine scientific proofs psychological proofs historical proofs archaeological proofs you've seen it it there's many books about it we've made films about it but yet there are some people that are still stuck on that topic they want more yeah but why don't you why why isn't what you have enough some people say listen maybe you should help people do Chua just by telling them about the nice things that it's good to keep Shabbat because it gives you time to rest it's good to keep family Purity because it creates schom bite the malim is about to uncover something that shows you not only what the answer is but also why there are people that fall off after they start going on the right path the MIM says that need this test because the way that he acquired inem the way that he acquired faith in Hashem was through philosophizing was through investigating and Hashem wanted Abraham to have complete amuna in him that does not depend on research and rather only for the continuation of following hashem's soul only through his own willpower meaning wanted abah to have 100% 100% confidence and belief in hasem no matter what no matter what you hear on the news no matter what you hear your friends doing no matter what doubts you have no matter what confusions somebody just threw into your mind because you allowed them because you watch their foolish videos wanted to have the that does not depend on his own research on his own investigation he wanted him to have complete simple that no matter what I know that Hashem is real I know that Hashem is one I know there's nothing else but him I know he is with me I know he's watching me I know he's giving everything that I have I know he's taking whatever he wants everything is his and therefore says the malim a was tested with a 10 tests to test him if and see if he would meditate and delve into his actions to review his actions whether it's going to Egypt or slaughtering his kid or burying his wife to see if he's going to review his teachings and question God and His descent into Egypt was one of those tests but what about says the malim but whose amuna was already strong was already strong because he learned from Abraham and he accepted the teachings that he received from Abraham his father and therefore he was not required to go through these same tests and the reminder of the famine in this verse is in order to show that Abraham had a test had a test but aadh wanted to highlight the test of Abraham and the famine that existed at the time of for the purpose of showing that aam had a test that he needed to have in order to get to where he was he needed to go through these difficulties in order for hasem to teach him what it means to have complete amuna without investigation without proofs without rationale while on the other hand the test of vak having famine in his time was for the purpose of showing the wonderful results that come from hashem's Divine Providence and to give him life despite the famine while staying in Israel unlike the one that aam had that required him to go to Egypt in so many words what is teaching and us don't serve AEM because you think you understand him don't serve AEM because everything is good or because you think that if you do it therefore you're going to to win a lot therefore you're going to have a perfect life at some point or another is going to test us you don't have to test yourself you don't have to bring difficulties to your life they come bys Hashem sends them here we also see why the says that the level that get to is even higher than the level of the people that are always religious the people that are Fred from birth Ain was the ultimate B cha abandoning a house of idolatry and a difficulty that he had going up the ladder to attain this perfect this perfect was a road full of difficulties but those difficulties are the ones that built him without it hisa would always be based on his rationale that it's not the Sun and it's not the moon and it's not the tree and it's not the clouds and it's not the cave and it's not the statue and it's not the person because it doesn't make sense a needed those tests in order to become aam needed to go through that difficulty in order to get to the level that he was did not need the same difficulty because he already grew up in a religious house his father is the chief Rabbi his father's abrah ainu so you already grew up witha he grew up with he grew up with complete faith he was willing to die for the sake of serving hem with so he didn't need the same tests so on one end the road that he had although it also had bumps although it also had major difficulties as we already mentioned they certainly were not anywhere near as difficult as aam because it was not necessary but on the other end we also see the great benefit that came out as a result of abam passing his tests the says that unlike that the Satan was constantly waiting for him to question God whether it was during the time that he dealt with the famine his wife is kidnapped in Egypt his wife is kidnapped by a the the the poverty the difficulty the constant test the Satan was constantly waiting to see when is AB going to say something against hem what is AB going to say come on is this what I deserve didn't I just sacrifice my son didn't I just give a BRI to myself didn't I just do everything you said why am I getting all this the Satan was waiting for that but a passed every test with flying colors no questions about Hashem only question is what else do you want me to do H what's h mean I'm here to serve I'm ready to serve right now no matter what I'm going says that although job was extraordinarily righteous he was theor in his generation it was at a time where there were many righteous people but the world was judged differently According to some where if somebody did something wrong they literally got punished right away and somebody did something right they literally got rewarded right away so when job started getting punished when we know it's really tested all of his kids died in one day in one instant all of his money was lost in one instant his health became the worst Health in the history of mankind in one instant every everything happened in the same day by the time he heard about one tragedy another tragedy was reported to him so job questioned God the God says he questioned the ways of Hashem how could it be that I did everything right there's no sins that I did but yet all of this is happening to me but hasm teaches us many time in the Tor I don't think like you you think of it as a punishment but in reality this is the ultimate test that's going to elevate you to places you could not even imagine once you pass these tests you will become a permanent fixture in my Torah that's why it says when ruven planned to save his brother ysf but delayed by the time he came back the brothers already sold ysf say that had ruen known that that episode would be written in the Eternal Torah he would have taken ysf and put him on his shoulders and ran away with him and fought anything in sight he would have not delayed for even a second when Hashem told mosenu go you be the prophet to take out my nation out of Egypt he was afraid that his brother Aon will be insulted Hashem promised him that Aon is going to be happy for it and Aon was happy to see that his brother his younger brother Moshe was the prophet that hasem sent but theim say that had Aon known that this particular episode of him accepting his brother was going to be written in Eternal Torah he would have come out to accept his brother with a band with music with a celebration had job known that his story will become part of the Eternal to us certainly would have never questioned it but hasem says my thoughts are not like your thoughts you look at it as a punishment because you got sick you look at it as a punishment because you lost money you look at it as a punishment because you lost your job you look at it as a punishment for whatever ever other difficulty you have Hashem says if you think I think like you why do you worship me then if we're the same if I'm giving you something in the world that was created for your benefit not God's benefit then that means that whatever that something is it is certainly for your benefit and your benefit alone so instead of looking at that difficulty those trials and tribulations and wallowing in your pain feeling sorry for yourself which could easily bring you to fall for the Trap of the Satan to question God this is what I deserve how could this be why am I being punished instead of doing that we learn from one of the rabbis of R says he was called because you always said this to is for the good and RAB taught the same lesson later on saying everything that the merciful one does is always the best not just good it's the best what is it like if imagine you have the need to go from one place to another let's just say you have to go from New York to Florida now the way that you can get there is through a plane through a small plane a big plane a helicopter you're just going to have to stop a few times to refill the fuel you could drive there you can go on a boat you could go on a b icle a motorcycle you could run there you could walk there there's many ways you can go and even after you pick one of those ways there's many different roads to go many different routes all you really want is just to get from point8 to point B the same concept that theem says I want you to go from point A to point B now there are all types of options out there to get you from point A to point B but based on your actions based on your free choice which is really just choice and not really free those choices that were originally available to you get narrowed down to smaller choices as a result of certain choices you make in life you can start to being afraid of flying as a result of certain actions that you do Hashem can make boats not available to you as a result of certain health issues running and walking is not an option what's an option in a car in a bus that seems like well that's a punishment no see AEM is trying to do everything possible for you to succeed to go from point A to point B your actions eliminate certain choices or make certain choices available to you and therefore the final choice that is made and the outcome of it everything that happens you choose the road Hashem chooses the outcome and that outcome that choice you have still available to you may not seem like it's the best choice because some other people had other choices some other people had a happy marriage after the first wife you had to marry the second one because the first one was a nightmare some people had to wait only 9 months to have their first kid you had to wait 10 years some people had to go through life without visiting the doctor much aside from the common cold you had to spend months in hospitals those things were what hasem put in your path because those were the best possible choices available to you based on your choices and in order to give you the greatest possible benefit the greatest possible Choice Hashem looked at all of the options that were left since planes is no longer an option and the helicopter was no longer an option and the boat was no longer an option and walking and running was no longer an option in this hypothetical comparison the motorcycle the bicycle the car Hashem picked the car why CU that was the best choice out of the few left out of all the choices available to aam the famine was the best choice out of all the choice available to abam going to Egypt was the best choice out of all the choices available to Abraham sacrificing his son was the best choice he can say how we're not God to understand God but the point being is when when a person understands that everything that Hashem has given to you in your life instead of looking at as the difficulty that traumatized you you can now look at it as the difficulty that built you that puts you to where you are and can help you get to much higher places as a result but if a person says no I don't understand why should i serve God if he's going to give me difficulties well the difficulty is going to come whether you serve God or not it's just that when you serve God the choices become better of how to get from point A to point B the journey becomes better because you know God is with you walking with you holding you throughout the whole path whereas when you don't serve God then not only are the choices narrowed to the worst possibilities but the road to the destination is not just bumps on the road but rather major valleys potholes mountains and perhaps once in a while a volcano now many times people say well why can't you just convince people to keep T and by telling about the good things the very same that have taught us this teach us as follows well you see when you teach people that they should do mitv because they understand the benefit in it you're only asking for trouble because you're asking them to follow the mitv because they believe they could understand God's reasoning following the mitv because of that is a trap of the Satan one of theim that we know said a story himself some time ago they convinced his cousin to start keeping family Purity between her and her husband to go to the mikve said well I'm not really religious it's okay religious not religious is good for you how could it be good for me well create schom bite all right oh if it's for schom that's good so she started keeping family Purity going to the mikve once a month because I'll create schlom well as you would have it she started keeping that before you know it she got pregnant Hashem sent the blessing but then after nine months the water broke and she's ready to give birth and there she finds out that the moment that happened her dear husband can no longer hold her hand can no longer touch her she's considered nid when she heard this she said wait a minute what are you talking about you said this whole family Purity stuff is to create schom bite to create peace between me and him so I need him to hold my hand while I'm giving birth well the religious people in her family said no no that's not this one thing has not to do with the other this is the AL hasem didn't tell us that we have to keep family Purity because of SCH that's just one of the benefits in it he told us to keep family Purity because he told us to keep family Purity he commanded he's the king no I don't accept it if it's for the sake of schom then schom has means that my husband is allowed to hold my hand and she decreed things that are against the tah the same thing goes when people say listen keep Shabbat because it's a time for you to rest you get a major benefit look you work six days on a seventh day you rest what's better than a vacation once a week what about the fact that God obligated him no that's let's just convince him to do it you're asking for trouble you're falling for the Trap of the Satan why because after a little while he say yeah you know what I really like relaxing I really like relaxing on on Shabbat I enjoy it have some food relax great but this week I can't do it what do you mean I gotta work but don't worry I gotta work this weekend I'll work on Shabbat but don't worry I'm going to rest on Sunday no no no you're understanding the the rest part is on Shabbat I understand it's on Shabbat I get it I just can't do it this Shabbat so I'll just rest on Sunday you know why he did that because you fell for the Satan's trap and convinced him to keep Shabbat because of resting instead of convincing him to keep Shabbat because God commanded it and resting is just one of the benefits this is actually what the the kites did for many years as the rambam was fighting them telling the people look this rambam is telling you to put on to fill in you don't need to do it what do you mean it says it in the Torah no you're not understanding you see the whole point of the toing is because God is telling you that he wants you to think about him so since we are enlightened since we are brilliant since we are aware of what the truth is behind to Fillin we don't need the to fill in to think about God we could just think about God without thein and of course 17A says some a Judah does not put Onin has no share of the world to come this type of rationale destroys relationships between a person and their creator so you see when God Gave You difficulties in this world aside from the calculations that he has that are beyond the scope of any human knowledge reincarnations mid mid measure for measure and so on still even those measure for measure even those reincarnations even though everything put together whatever choices Hashem chose to make the outcome whether was you winning the lotto or losing as much as the lotto win whether it was being perfectly healthy or Shalom the opposite whatever outcome hasem put in your life that was the best possible choice for you out of all of the choices available to you based on the actions you made that narrowed down the choices so instead of questioning God you should say thank you God and celebrate all of the difficulties that he gave you because you needed them had you not needed those tests had you not needed those difficulties then it would be just like and both had the same test but the outcome was different because the outcome necessary for Abraham was different than the outcome necessary for for hasem wanted him to see the Divine Providence and the benefit from it of how he can live while people are dying despite the famine even though he didn't leave the country even though he stayed in Israel aam on the other hand had to withstand the difficult ities of the journey to Egypt the kidnapping of his wife and all of the other difficulties along the way going in poverty in order for him to remove the amuna that he had that was based on a foundation of proofs investigations and philosophy Hashem wanted aaham to have complete and unconditional emuna in him without any rationalization and as a result of Abraham passing those tests he became ainu the forefather of all of is we too will all pass our tests with flying colors with a smile on our face with a thank you to hem every time it comes and just like the says whether it's a benefit a blessing or something that looks like a curse like a loss we have to make a blessing we have to say thank you to Hashem why because at the end of it all it's all for our benefit thisai is what keeps the smile on a person's face no matter what tests to delude yourself to think that no if you think good good things will happen plenty of people think good and then they get hit by a bus plenty of people think good and then they lose a bunch of money plenty of people think good and it doesn't necessarily always work out but if you think that everything God gives you is good that means that it doesn't matter what comes it's good by default the path that he's putting you on is the greatest possible Choice available to you and that's what makes him so good this is the we need for this week now you guys will ask some questions I actually have some other questions as well from a few cute kids that sent me some questions that I'll answer what day did Hashem make the Tor the says that hasem created the Tor before he created the world meaning before he created time before he created days before he created dates he created the Torah Generations before the world came to to be so it wasn't a day that hasm created the tah it wasn't even a specific time as far as a time of the day it was well before the world was created and the reason why is because looked at the Torah that he created and used that Torah as the blueprint instructions of what to put in this world as a zor says he looked into the Torah and he saw that there is kosher laws in it and therefore he created kosher animals and non- kosher animals Kosher fish and non- Kosher fish kosher birds and non- kosher Birds he looked at the Torah and he saw that there is mitvah of Shabbat so he created time and to distinguish the Shabbat he added the other days because if every day was Shabbat then nothing would be special about it he looked into the Torah and he saw every single one of the MIT and based on those MIT he created the creation so this had to come before time this had to come before the world it had to come exactly as the says it came another question why did hasem make Moshe a giant 10 amot or 20 feet also very good question thear says that mosenu was not the only one that was 10 amut in fact the entire Levy tribe was 10 amut they were all 20 feet tall and the reason why thear says is because that was what was required for them to be that big especially in comparison to US in order for them to carry thees because the Aron KES even though it carried itself as a way of respect and honoring the Torah there were always the levies carrying it and now the way that The KES was set up according to our tah is that there was the Aron and then there was the poles and the poles were in the middle of the Ares which means that in order for anyone to carry it they had to be a certain amount of height in order for that Ares not to hit the floor so in order based on the measurements ofes everyone of the levies that carried it had to be 10 high and Moshe was certainly a levie another question is what were the names of adar's other children well he had and he then had but then he the Tor says that adamar had many boys and girls but it does not mention their names like it does in the beginning for and in fact the Torah does not mention the names of most of the people in the T rather if you look at the T when it goes through the uh families each one that you know Adam gave birth to shet shet gave birth to his kids and so on each one with a few exceptions each one it also even though they all had many children it always says they had boys and girls but they mention one name and then they mention which children came from that person what about the other kids that he had they didn't have kids no of course they had kids obviously the world populated but that particular person that's mentioned whether it's Mel or it's a uh uh Noah or it's anybody else those were the most important ones those were the leaders those were the most important ones those were the ones that the Torah want you to know about and uh even though there were many other people that were being born at the time many other people were alive at the time it does not mention all of those names because their names or their simply the fact that they uh existed at the time is inconsequential meaning it doesn't matter for your uh your day-to-day life which on the other hand also means that whoever is mentioned in the Torah is someone that we can learn from is someone that we can learn about and in fact the uh arisal says that most of the secrets that he found in the Torah were found in places where most people would not even look for Secrets which is actually in those places where it mentions the names where Adam had kids there was there their names then the shed had kids and they they had certain those places or about asab specifically also when it talks about the uh the the the lineage of isav also talks about specific names at the end of parat no also specific names all of these times he says there's a lot of hidden secrets in those names in those uh in those verses so although I don't know the names of the other children of AD it's possible that some of them are mentioned uh not all of them but certainly some of them could be mentioned in a mid or in other parts of the oral Torah but in the leral tah uh they're not mentioned uh but we certainly still benefited from the question because we learned why uh there's only uh usually one name and that there are exceptions for example there's the exception of uh Noah Noah it says that he had three kids other people had many more than three kids but in Noah's case all three of his kids were mentioned why because they were all the forefathers of the Nations Shem was the forefather of the Jewish people uh a uh and then was a uh forefather of the certain part of the people and Yeet was a forefather of a certain part of the people we come from shim that's why anyone that is is uh H Jews is called antii which is means anti-semite they're against Shem they're against the the semites the Jews uh but as far as uh other places that you would find this is also with uh it mentions all three of his sons mentions not only a it also mentions his brothers and uh you see there again that uh it's another place where all three characters are important all three people are important for different reasons one is the uh uh the brother that died but also had a son named lot so that's uh we know who lot is one is a brother that married Mila uh who also gave birth at the same time as Sarah and uh in fact that's a uh where that's the family that uh brought in Rifka from there came Rifka which married abusa son so each one of those names is mentioned specifically because they serve critical importance for our understanding of the Torah our servitude of hem if it's mentioned in the Tor there is a very very important purpose for it if it's not mentioned in the Torah it simply means that it's not important for our life and that's why the says there are there were over 1.2 million prophets in history but only 55 of them are mentioned in the Torah 48 men 48 male and seven females what about the other 1.2 million yes they existed but they're not mentioned in the Torah because their prophecies only pertain to their time whereas the 55 that are mentioned in the Tanakh their prophecies are relevant to every single person to every single generation until the end of times and everything that they say is relevant meaning that when we look at the prophets we look at the statements of the prophets we have to find a lesson that's relevant to us us as a people us as individuals fantastic questions let's see what else here how could someone bring upon themselves a miracle uh well it's based on their uh you know what number one what they need a miracle for uh whether they're deserving of it and mostly it's it's based on what are they willing to do in order to uh get that miracle and uh the ultimate thing to do is to support the tah especially to support and help other Jews uh you know do chva so in the times of the high holidays just a little over a month ago we published I think at least 30 maybe close to probably 40 videos and letters that we've received from our students that have seen and lived with open Miracles not just in their life in the last year in the last couple of years and the one common denominator uh about all of those people is that they made major sacrifices in order to support our organization they made major donations relative to them uh and they uh literally made it a key part of their life and uh they Hashem saw that they're publicizing his name they're supporting his Torah and uh therefore he wanted to give them Miracles so some people had uh something you know things as great as finding a spouse after looking for many years they finally found one uh some people got cures for cancer some people made a lot of money all types of amazing Miracles there's actually another one that uh we just got a uh from another student that actually had it right after uh where is a fantastic story of a couple of students of mine uh that uh were having a very difficult time financially and literally had money show up at their door with a uh sentence a gift from God just imagine you're a dire strech you have you know $30 to your name can't P you haven't paid the rent in a few months and a bunch of money shows up at your door with a uh words on it say a gift from God so we'll publicize it from their own words from their own voices uh very soon but uh the common denominator of those people that they support kiru even though didn't have much uh when they had they did as much as they could so I've seen countless miracles for the people that support our organization uh you know but not just you know send a money that's insignificant to them but rather send money it's significant to them some people significant to them is uh you know $500 uh other people significant to them is 50 other people significant to them is uh 500,000 so even if the guy that's has 500,000 only donates uh 5,000 it's good but relative to him is not considered sacrifice so the ultimate way that I've seen people get Miracles is when they make major sacrifices by donating to kiru donating to help publicize uh T like this that helps people do Chua and get closer to hasem Jewish guy praying in a musk is that allowed by you guys uh well it's allowed for a Jew to pray in a musque because a musque technically is not considered a place of idolatry it's just not recommended especially with what's happening in the world today and the open violence against the Jews by the Muslims so it's a really bad idea for a Jew to do such a thing uh but as far as the Torah law is concerned it is loud as far as who it says that it's allowed well the uh the rambam pined that Islam is not considered idolatry there are some uh that uh are more recent meaning in the last hundred years uh like the Roga uh and the closenberg rebi that uh said otherwise that said that uh they believe that Islam is idolatry but certainly we rely on the Pak of the rambam before we rely on any go of recent years either way like I said allowed or not allowed a you'll see across the board say that uh you know they uh it's allowed but uh as far as whether it's recommended or not then that's not uh that's not a good idea you'll see across the board people tell you that's not recommended is it no it's definitely not a for for a Jew to pray at any time it's always it's it's it's certainly a good thing for them for a Jew to pray but I just don't understand why a Jew would have to pray to mosque and not just go to a synagogue there's plenty of synagogues usually people that do stuff like that they just want attention do you drink beer no I don't drink beer I don't drink in general may I know what a mench midash and AAR is okay a mench means a good person person that's a standup person uh midash is one part of the oral tah that tells us different parts of the Torah that is in essence like the behind the scenes uh so while the literal written tah that you call let's say the five books of Moses tells you certain information it's clear that there's a lot more to the to to the story than what's being said so the midash is just is one of those uh sources that we get some of that information the gar as well is also one of those places we get some of that information alongside many other things such as things that happened at the times of the sages uh the uh description and uh uh sources of all the laws where the laws come from what's the source in the Torah how to understand the tah so the the mid and and are synonymous uh that's part of the oral T there's the which is the five books of Moses and then you have the 19 books of the prophets and the writings uh and then there's the oral Torah uh which is the mid the Z the the talud or thear which again like I said is is the same there the mishna is the oral TOA is wider than the ocean there's much more but the ultimate purpose of the oral tah is to explain what's in the written okay will I ever make a stump the rabbi video in a Sho well for the first few years that uh we had the stump the rabbi uh series it was in shoes uh I've only been doing uh lectures solely uh you know without going to sh just for the last couple years but for years I gave uh a few lectures per week in synagogues I stopped doing that a couple years ago perhaps I'll do that at some point in the future once we open up our own location but as far as for me to do it uh let's you know going to random shoes and stuff like that and just doing it uh it would have to be uh you know organized properly they would have to bring a lot you know a lot of people for it to make sense but for me to just go there and there's going to be mean to other people doesn't really make much sense to to do it especially for something like this where it depends on you know the questions of the crowd so if there's no crowd there's no point and without preparation and uh there's usually uh not enough of a turnout to make it worth it how far back can you trace your lineage all the way to a aino Rabbi if one has never own a smartphone do you recommend them purchasing one to be able to download your app AI Rabbi uh it depends depends what they do with their time if they're a Torah scholar then there's no need uh they could learn from the books uh but if they're just an average person uh and uh and they still surf the Internet just not on the phone phone then there may be a need depends and it's a case-by case basis it's not uh it's not a uh one siiz fits all for everybody most people today should get the AI Rabbi because it'll help you answer endless questions because most people do have smartphones most people do uh go on the internet and obviously if you're asking me questions on YouTube or on Tik Tok or on Facebook or whatever other media uh this is at obviously you're on the internet you're using it yourself somebody that is uh does not have that at all um again it depends why they don't have it depends why they don't have it it depends what they do with their time uh so if a person is a Torah scholar uh it's learning all day and all night there's no need like some of my uh at our at our they don't have uh phones not even a kosher phone they have nothing I've asked some of them even for Bank details so we could send the money they don't even know that that would we have to you know send one of our uh people to speak to their wives to get that information they literally are removed from the world and then there are some of them that do have smartphones that do have a uh uh uh the the need for it for different reasons for work purposes for for different things and some of them actually even use AI Rabbi I even have a few rabbis and a few Torah Scholars that use it part of their learning meaning while they're learning learning or they're learning something else and they got to a point where they need information quickly uh they go ask a rabbi the question and many times they get sources they didn't even know existed where did the name Israel come from that's the name that God gave to yov that's one of the verses in the tah where he tells them your new name is Israel and since he's our forefather the whole nation is called Israel the appearance of AEM or hint uh yes it says God has no image or likeness of an image meaning there is no appearance of hem there he doesn't have arms legs head he doesn't have anything doesn't have any body or the likeness of a body the nice Catholic guy that keeps commenting and likes the lecture we're giving you like what we're doing you like what you hearing and you're said that you're drawn to it and you want the truth well I have quite a few lectures on my YouTube channel about Christianity the New Testament uh and that I think you need to watch just go to my YouTube channel Rabbi yon ruven on YouTube just type in on the search box Jesus or new testament and you'll see a bunch of lectures over there that's going to highlight some very profound things that are going to wake you up to the truth and make you realize that we're not only religious because we were born this way we're religious by choice uh uh and in fact that's the reason why many Christians and Catholics have converted to Judaism uh and over the years and in recent years uh and it's relatively rare to see Jews convert the other way uh the only ones that convert uh to Christianity or Catholicism are are usually uh ignorant Jews they're not uh you know they're not informed Jews uh on the other hand there's been countless priests and pastors and very very religious Catholics and Christians that have converted to Jew Judaism once they actually discover the truth about Christianity and the New Testament uh and also what Torah says about it so I uh highly recommend you go and watch those lectures you'll see some uh major information over there that you can double check yourself in the text we bring verses we bring uh sources uh and then it's very possible that you may be another one of the people that may be interested uh either in becoming simply a righteous nohy or converting to Judaism when did the Hebrews become known as the Jews uh Mount saai Judaism was born at Mount saai but the first time the word Jew is mentioned in the tah is in me the Jew have you looked at Islam yes I've looked at Islam and I hated what I saw in it it's unfortunately a very violent and heretical religion that's full of hypocrisy and uh in fact anyone that has actually looked at Islam and compared it to the Judaism the real Judaism not just Judaism that you uh heard about but Judaism that's actually in the text uh quickly ran away from Islam and joined Judaism in one way or another why are we made in God's image if he has no image that's because when he says he made us in His image it doesn't mean image like you perceive image meaning a physical stature image meaning that he gave us the ability to choose right and wrong uh to to know good and bad uh that's the image it's not a physical image we're not animals that uh work off of instinct so if you want something to compare that to on the opposite end animals are not made in God's image because they work off of instincts humans have uh choice because they uh know the difference between right and wrong they don't have to operate on instincts was Satan there when God said let us make man in our image yes the Satan was made on Tuesday G no was made on Tuesday actually sat maybe before that what significance of circum decision the Brit mil is a decree by God that began with abrah ainu Abraham and we've been doing it as a people for over 4,000 years it's that's the main reason for it as far as if you want more of an understanding the way main way to get somebody to care about what you do is by making them a partner for example if you have employees and you have a business no matter how loyal that employee is no matter how long you have that employee they will never ever care about the business like you do as the business owner why because it's not theirs if you want them to care about the business at least close to how much you do you make them a partner you make them a partner so God created this world for our benefit but in order for us to fulfill our purpose we needed to care we need to care about the creation so he made us partners of the creation how by making us imperfect which is creating males with the foreskin and then telling us in order to complete the creation you'll remove that foreskin meaning you're 97% perfect once you remove this forkin on the Eighth Day You're Now Perfect You're a perfect Creation in essence making us partners in the creation but the bottom line reason for all of the laws is because God the creates so this what I just said is just one of the uh things that we understand from it as one of the uh benefits from it but like I said the main reason for all the laws for Shabbat for kosher for family Purity for a uh the holidays for fasting for whatever it is any other law that we have in the to the only reason is because God decreed it the benefits uh or what we like to call Tam uh in Hebrew is a uh is is the added anecdote but it's not the reason the real reason is because God said so that's more than enough of a reason when doing that diamond there's water source in the kitchen and water source in the bathroom is there a leniency to wash hands in the bathroom and then do the braa outside of the bathroom uh yeah it's not a leniency there's no obligation for you to make the blessing for washing your hands exactly where you washed your hands uh in fact it was often that people uh did it at different places but one thing you don't want to do is you don't want to make the blessing of washing your hands while you're wiping your hands so either you make the blessing um while your hands are still wet or you make the blessing after you've completed wiping your hands but you could certainly make the blessing uh in the kitchen and then make the uh uh wipe your hands or not wipe the hands then make the blessing after you wash your hands or if you wash your hands in the bathroom you can wash your hands wipe your hands leave the bathroom and then make the blessing but don't wait too much longer don't go into a conversation uh during that uh few moments go straight B you know washing your hands wiping your hands finishing wiping your hands make the blessing without any uh disruptions in the middle what does the Torah and tud say about pantheism that God is present everywhere there's a there's an actual verse that says it there's nothing else but him it's not that it's just he is everywhere he is everything there is nothing else but him the circumcision improve intimacy uh certainly can certainly can but that's not the reason why we do it were all prophets born on Friday not to my knowledge Jews learn Life instructions and Commandments in the Torah what instructions for the noites the Torah is also instructions for the noes because the Noid laws are from the toah and also noes need to learn M from the toah which is character development those are the two main things that the noids need to focus on I have many lectures on my channel for Noyes uh discussing the uh main body of uh responsibility for nodes and what they need to learn is there a reason why abam abandoned abandon s and the zor I'm not really sure what you mean teaching cabala in public is not something that I'm going to do no there's specific moments that I've done it that was because it was part of a specific Shield but just generally no yes the parts that uh I've mentioned about the Quran I certainly read and saw with my own eyes um and then I quoted it who wrote the zarish do you consider Muslims to be noahides all of mankind with the exception of the Jews are noahides whether they like it or accept it or not now there's a righteous noahide and a wicked noahide there's a righteous Jew and a wicked Jew righteous Jew observes the Tor and MIT and stays away from sins and if they sin they repent they do Chua in accordance to the Torah a righteous nohide observes the laws for the noids that are from the toah and stays away from sin and if they sin they repent they do Chua to fix it a wicked Jew ignores the Torah violates the Torah disregards the tah speaks against the tah or Wicked noahide also same thing goes against the tah starts new religions follow you know follows an idol instead of a instead of God like Yos like Jesus is an idol is considered idolatry uh the the Muslims are according to most opinions by sages are not considered idolators but certainly they're considered Heretics and their their religion is considered a violation of the Torah because you're not allowed to create new religions number one number two because it speaks against the Jewish people uh it talks about how they're uh you know there's a uh prophecy that the Muslims are going to kill all of them and all types of other horrible things they speak against everybody that's not Muslim why I raise me I'm sorry I already have kids in my house that I have to raise only other kids that I'm going to raise are the ones that grow up in my house other people that are around the world even though I consider some of them like my kids I uh I guide them I don't raise them and the way that I do it is by teaching them in these lectures they watch these lectures they ask questions I try my best to give them the answers they ask uh many different uh things that are not in the lectures when you know whether it's issues in regards to their jobs issues uh regards to marriage and so on and so forth and I try to guide them in accordance to the toah as often as I can as much as I can what are the challenges while doing kiru uh depends depends on the level of kiru that you do uh there are endless challenges uh it's certainly much more difficult than anything else that uh I've ever done or that's possible out there um but it also depends on the level of kiru that a person does if a person does kiru you know superficially or very minimally then the difficulties is going to be minimal if a person does a uh big things to help a lot of people do chuba then the difficulties are going to be great as well but as far as which challenge is they going to be depends on a person depends what they do am I taking genocide questions uh sure sure if you want to ask genocide questions whether I agree with genocide or not I don't agree with genocide how do you interpret how do you see or interpret the law of attraction and manifestation based on talmud and Torah uh there is no law of attraction like you hear from the scientists but there are things that are actually real uh they are both physical ones and spiritual ones physical ones are scientific for example uh there's certain smell there's certain smell that uh attracts people uh like for example you'll notice if you look into it that uh virtually all perfumes uh smell like animals and originally came from animals why because those particular smells attract the uh opposite gender and usually people that put perfume uh especially in today's world are doing it for attracting people it's not like the old days where people used perfume in order to uh silence the uh the horrible smell that they had because obviously hygiene was very different in those days uh so uh the perfume that's used the cologn that's used comes from animals uh another thing is is that the uh scientists have also confirmed that the smell that a woman is most attracted to is the smell of her husband but not the smell where he just took a shower but rather when he's sweating so many guys that work effortlessly or endlessly uh to try to take 50 showers a day and to put you know three gallons of perfume on them uh because they're about to see their wife uh you're not really doing yourself a service now I'm not saying come back from work smelly disgusting and then go see your wife because she'll probably run away like everybody else uh but uh as far as to uh suppress your uh your real smell is not going to be attracting to your wife may be attracting to other people but not to your wife uh so there's physical aspect of it now spiritual aspect of it is also the talud says in the page two uh 2 a where a person gets a Woman based on his actions if he's righteous he gets a righteous woman if he's wicked he gets a immodest woman uh meaning that if he's righteous he gets a woman that is righteous and if she's righteous certainly she's modest if he's wicked he she gets he gets a immodest woman it doesn't say a Wicked Woman it say is a immodest woman why because if she's immodest then certainly she's wicked whereas if she's modest it doesn't necessarily always mean that she's righteous uh there was plenty of German Nazis that walked around modest but were evil monsters there's plenty of those available today as well as we saw in the recent uh year with since the October 7th disaster that happened when uh or during September 11th when the uh they were celebrating the demise of thousands of people so now as far as the spiritual aspect of it your actions create certain uh uh Angels or demons that attract uh or deter somebody else so if let's say for example a man cheats on his wife uh he commits adultery uh then even if his wife does not know about it no one told her about it no one called her about it she will automatically her soul will know it and will become disgusted by him will become distrustful of him uh so it's a uh the same vice versa so as far as the uh how they react to it whether they know what what they are feeling or not many people think it's confusion or it's anxiety or it's all things no it's not a uh it's not it's not really a headache she doesn't really have a headache all the time it's because there's some issue there some times uh men are uh you know get the message from their wife that they're they have a headache all the time uh but they're not committing adultery with uh you know another they're not married to anybody else but they don't realize that wasting seed is considered the same thing meaning his wife this you know the the soul of his wife knows that he's cheating because he's looking at immorality he's looking at pornography and all types of other filth so that's why she's disgusted by him even though she doesn't know what's going on behind closed doors and when she's not there but her soul is disgusted by him so yes there are certainly uh Laws of Attraction uh but they're not like what you heard in the uh you know in the secular world so very very different and I spoke about it quite a bit in our Jewish intimacy series uh in our tunit series or tunit videos uh and many other times do you think a candidate for conversion to Judaism needs to move to a large community to convert or Will a smaller one be just fine uh it depends it depends on the larger one it depends on the smaller one it depends on the person uh certainly they need to go to a recognized bedin uh and be part of a synagogue with a decent Rabbi that is you know serious Orthodox Rabbi if that serious Orthodox Rabbi is the only synagogue in town uh or he's part of 50 of them is not exactly as important as you know as as at least having that one good source uh but if he's in a really big Community but the really big Community is so modern that they forgot that they're Jewish because they're all celebrating Thanksgiving tomorrow then he's better off not living in places like that so again it's it's not necessarily uh big or small depends you know the pieces the pieces matter where am I located Florida is cash advance an a it's not only an a it's a of of the highest kind there are many sins uh involved with cash advance uh the most critical is but also there's a uh uh manipulating people lying predatory business charging uh interest theft there's a whole list of sins that uh are in cash advance anyone that's involved with cash advance whether you are the broker that is uh victimizing your customers or you are the owner that has a bunch of wolves uh working for you or you're even the secretary uh doing the paperwork for all of the uh the murders that everybody is doing uh with with uh with paperwork uh while they're smiling at people and telling that they're helping them all of the people that are working in cash advance are guilty and all will be punished severely and eventually uh they uh will see that uh Not only was the things that were said in my lectures about it right but they'll actually regret that they they were born that's how bad it's going to be can a Muslim marry a Jewish woman no I know that Islam allows it but Judaism does not allow it okay see there some type of notice on my phone that made everything freeze let's see uh Rab in regards to rabis saying that the ramb pasin that Islam is not idolatry to protect Jewish lives is it allowed to for reasons like this couldn't he have just mentioned it uh or couldn't he have said it publicly uh no no it's the uh the belief is that the ramban asking that Islam is uh not idolatry uh there are only a couple of that say that they don't agree with it but we don't uh the did not agree with those that say that the rambam meant otherwise because the rambam did speak against the Muslims many times uh in in his and you know in many places so the rambam wasn't afraid of the Muslims uh to speak against them so no it's say uh that's why did not agree with the rogo uh about the rambam saying one thing and and meaning something else it's not it's not a uh widely accepted opinion it's it's a lone opinion Moses took the Jewish people out of Egypt and was at the Red Sea it's really the Sea of reads did it split into 12 paths instead of one and is this because there were 12 tribes yes if you look at the SE uh it not only talks about this of how the Sea of Reed split into 12 creating a tunnel for each one of the tribes but also it has the drawing the hand drawing of the rambam that it was uh not like people think where they went from one end to the uh across to the other end but rather it was the shape of a rainbow 12 tunnels and a shape of rain rainbow they went in one end and they came back into the same end and the reasoning for that is because as they were turning the Egyptians did not know where they were whereas if it was a straight line they would know that they already got to the other end and that would uh create a uh different a difficulty uh as far as uh the following them drowning them and so on so Hashem made it so that they are constantly uh seeing just a few people in the end so they always thought that they're right there they're right there they're close to them so the rambam Drew of how it looked like and that you could find in a series of books called meam loes that was translated to many languages including English was written about 300 years ago by uh koui were the female leim also extremely tall wouldn't it be difficult for leim to marry other tribes being multiple times taller than them uh no I don't see any mention of the female leim being extremely tall and there's no reason for them to be extremely tall and as far as that being difficult for a tall man to marry a short woman no not necessarily uh there's many of that happening today uh usually you see all of the athletes uh marrying people that are much much smaller than them and there's no problem in fact even in the beginning of the Torah uh you see that the Nephilim married humans that were certainly much smaller than them so however it is it works what happened to the stones that a had that had the property to heal people he gave uh certain things to the uh where's children because he gave all of his uh blessings toak how do we know if our suffering is not a punishment for past current sin shouldn't we assume it's 50/50 uh not necessarily uh it's it's as far as assuming that it's suffering for a punishment um you could always assume that it's suffering punishment but that does not contradict that it's also um a uh for to to make you grow meaning just because something is suffering for a punishment doesn't mean that Hashem is going to help you grow through that punishment for example hasem spread us out into the Exile uh that's certainly a punishment obviously destroyed the bet mikdash the first one the second one and then after the second one he spread us into the Exile that is certainly a punishment as it says in the Torah itself that it's a punishment that will happen and it says in the prophets that it's a punishment that happened so there's no question about us being in the Exile being a punishment but at the same token our sages teach us that one of the great uh benefits that Hashem gave us uh through this punishment is that he put Jews in all four corners in the world so that we can convert people from all four corners in the world where hem in essence is giving us gifts the best of the Nations that end up converting to the Jewish to the Jewish people so even though there's a punishment there's also a way that Hashem gives us good even through the punishment because everything that he does is good is a convert better to marry a convert if that's what he or she finds sure but if they find someone that's a natural born Jew and they have uh uh similar ideology and they uh they want the same things there's no problem with that either is one required to make a or should they be afraid of protects the house from a first thing they should do is put on mot with blessing then they should have a uh A Min of people come to the house and do some type of uh or or something there to have a for the house um as far as this is what protects the house more Torah protects the house house T that has no T the says that house will be burned so it's important for a person to do a uh do for the bite on the day of My Best Friend's Wedding the groom was pressured to cancel the wedding because his parents met the bride a couple of days before and disapproved of her did this happen because hasem did not want this marriage to take place or is his is this his stupid mistake mean the guy's stupid mistake uh I still think about it because she's single I Hashem allowed this to happen obviously but he still had the choice Hashem allows a murderer to murder but the murderer still chooses to murder and he'll get punished for murdering okay okay thank you very much for your support thank you for learning with me Hashem bless each and every one of you I also saw that some of you really enjoying this new feature that we have on the website to donate using crypto currency uh and we appreciate that you can donate on the website bam.org uh using cryptocurrency using your credit card using money transfers all types of ways you could support all the good that we're doing with the sh with the the films with the uh all the books for free USBS and all the things that we're doing you want to support it you want to be part of it you also want to sponsor a Torah scholar for a week for a month uh you can do that also on the website be.org uh certainly donations uh to our organization will bring you blessings how much blessings depends how much you donate relative to how much you have but I can assure you that no one that has actually donated at least 10% of their income on a regular basis uh has ever uh been disappointed uh the uh that's uh one thing I've told people if you're donating at least at least and you're not seeing major changes improvements in your life after a period of time at least a year year and a half you're not seeing major major changes not small changes not like somebody helped you on the highway with a change of Tire like major major transformation in your life you're not seeing a benefit stop donating why because there something wrong with us that's that's how uh confident I am because I know uh what we've done I know what we're doing and I know what we're looking to do so people that uh donate certainly benefit people that don't donate Unfortunately they lose out uh in a very very big way uh and uh it's I feel bad for them but you know it's a uh it's a choice that people have to make for themselves um but anyone that wants to can donate at bash.org also subscribe to the air Rabbi app it's a cool app it's an amazing app it's a very resourceful app could help you quite a bit uh with your Torah learning with your questions as there are more and more people that are watching our lectures in bashem in 12 different languages it's becoming literally impossible to keep keep up with all of the messages with all the requests uh so many of you that were used to getting responses for your questions that you sent me uh to come within a few hours or even a couple of days are now sometimes not even getting responses uh it's not personal it's just it's just a lot it's a lot there's not much that I can do about that I'm happy that it's that way but that's also one of the benefits of AI Rabbi that you have literally 14,000 lectures over a decade of of of lectures of work that we've put into it myself the that is your database alongside many other uh parts of the tah uh does the database to answer any question that you have and if the answer is not available then certainly that question does require a rabbi but generally speaking those types of questions are not very common usually the questions that people ask are very very easy for the AI system to work because again it's it's uh feeding off of 14,000 lectures countless uh you know uh books our books the books from from the Torah is simply an enormous database and it's just going to continue you're growing bu so try it out subscribe if uh it's a um if it's too expensive for you to to uh to pay $15 a month uh then uh I can understand but usually the people that watch me uh have iPhones and usually or or or some type of smartphone if you could afford a smartphone that usually means you could afford 15 bucks a month so you have to make your choices and enjoy the film when it comes out onat and make sure to share it we are meant to be a light unto the Nations not to follow their misguided practices remember every Jew has to remember that he's a Jew and she's a Jew we don't celebrate non-jewish holidays even if they seem harmless it's a zul disrespect to the Torah and could lead to CH hasem desecration of God's name stick to our holy Torah and our own holidays that's the path of a true Jew
