wonderful people that uh continue to uh share to share the words of a in uh amazing creative ways just to uh help uh our brothers and sisters that are simply living a mistaken life a life that uh is uh empty of Torah where they really do not know what the value of the Torah is and when you mention something to them like there's a in the Torah that you are responsible for they really do not know what you're saying so uh today we'll cover a little bit of uh new insights about this week's par k a little a little bit in regards to Li and uh of course uh all the questions that you guys will ask after uh just as a reminder for everybody uh we have our uh Main Event uh the biggest event the organization has ever had in ER Isel uh coming up in August we don't know the date yet we'll find out in some USBS which are certainly uh a great thing for any Community out there whether religious or non religious whether it's a balet cha or F from birth sponsor some USBS uh distribute them in your community and also have the benefit of entering this uh uh this raffle which uh the winner of it will be uh announced in our next big event here in Florida on um July 27th uh the second place will win a very fancy uh talit uh G that has an on it it's a very beautiful talit perhaps next week I'll show it to you guys on camera so you can see what I'm talking about in the third place we'll get one of the uh well uh uh uh uh received uh uh cups of the uh based on the rashash the kadou cups or aala cups uh so they'll have multiple prizes announced on the 27th either way just getting those USBs for such a discount is in itself a prize and giving them to people and uh giving those people an opportunity to earn themselves a place Ina is certainly the greatest gift you can give yourself uh worth many many more and of course we have a few people that have signed up and some have bought uh much more than just uh one raffle ticket uh mainly because of the USB is really more than the actual uh uh raffle itself but of course it's always a uh a bonus so with uh uh with that being said uh the uh tunit uh uh lectures have helped many many people we started the new series last night about Jewish intimacy which uh covers that particular topic alongside many many other things uh we've had a good uh feedback from it so far and as I've said to you guys many times if uh you know you look into the streets you look into uh the general uh uh uh topics that are discussed in the world today very rarely will you find uh anyone talking about the Brit KES which is in itself uh one of the covenants one of the signs that gave us uh as his chosen people to protect our breit but uh this is something that uh you very rarely hear about uh in the uh you know in the english- speaking world uh it's rarely covered and when it is covered sometimes you prefer that it wasn't covered because the truth is distorted in such fashion and we had the Merit as my dear friend who I spoke to today him and his wife have a lot of and this you also be for for his dear had uh a big Ma just a newborn baby uh he told me today you're the one that merited to uh to have to bring this uh light to the world you have the whole Merit to yourself and uh as much as uh as that's great to hear uh we would obviously love for others to join us as well and of course a few others have joined but uh there's a lot more that's required and one of the reasons why I mention this is because when you actually look into the world today you see that it's very rarely discussed as far as the issues of Holiness and Kusa uh but when you look into the books uh you see that it's literally discussed everywhere it's practically mentioned in every par it's practically mentioned by all major throughout the generation in some way or another uh and of course including parat K now uh you know parat kak is full of Kus is full of you know amazing things in it which we'll delve into and uh one of the things that a person that starts to learn tah realizes is how much they're missing meaning that the more tah that you learn the more you realize how much more information you're missing how much more you need how much more you want uh and little by little you start understanding what the said that the Tor is life without T it's simply death death while the person is alive but as far as walking and moving and eating but really a person that doesn't learn Tah is considered as if he's dead because in essence there's not much to live for I mean you're not you didn't come to the world to eat sandwiches you didn't come to the world uh to uh to go to work just to make money so you could eat sandwiches you didn't come to the work to play on the internet in order to find out who makes the best sandwich you came to the world to serve a and of course how are you going to know how to serve a if not for the Torah so the discuss the Tora in many many different ways and the more a person learn lears T the more they yearn from more of it and even more so more the more they realize that they're missing a lot of information and uh although that is a reality for all people one of the things that people don't realize is the obligation of learning T and how much damage comes as a result of not learning T now thein writes in his neim in chapter 4 and section 30 that through learning t a person is able to fulfill all 613 MIT meaning that when a person learns T is putting himself in a position that he's simply not able to do in any other way because there's no way for a single person to fill all of the MIT of the either because they're not aen or they are aen and not a is either because they're not a woman and they're a man either because they're she's a woman and not a man uh either because they are not living in or of course everyone realizes that nearly half of the have to do with the mdash which due to our many sins has not been rebuilt yet uh so a person is finding himself in a situation where there's 613 that instilled into the world that he's not able to fulfill uh yet the tell us that when a person learns to through his learning to he will be able to fulfill all 63 meaning that when you learn about a subject is as if you fulfilled that mitvah so when you learn about the you learn about the sacrifices it is the same as if you've offered a sacrifice says the in the name of so says this is an opportunity for a person to fulfill things uh in not only a easier way but also in a in a way that's not possible in any other way in these days now the uh the in his chapter eight or section8 uh a uh he actually speaks very harshly in regards to people that do not learn tah and he says the following something that perhaps you may not hear in your local kabad you know the Tanya obviously is the one that started uh kabad is the one that is the the head of kabad and uh one of the great sages uh throughout all of the generations and he writes that whoever can learn tah and doesn't is sinning and even ka's punishment isn't enough for him rather a special punishment for those sins uh of and the cancellation of possible have to be uh uh put in a special place meaning that a person that is capable of learning Torah but instead of learning to he decides to play on the internet he goes on Facebook to see what people are commenting on his last post he goes and he just walks around just to look at the trees because he feels Like Me Maybe I just want to you know burn some energy and just waste my life person that doesn't learn T doesn't realize what kind of damage he's bringing to his life the bat says that even kafak which theab says at the end of thef is such a horrific place where there are uh angels that are destructive angels that are designated for that particular soul to literally you know destroy it in every way shape or form until the punishment is over and anyone that read or in English it's called by Ray who learned about the conversations that Ray had with these destructive angels and he asked them what did they do what you know what did they eat where did they go and what did they desire the uh the the uh this particular uh uh this destructive Angel told them the uh we don't love like you people do we don't have these feelings we only have a single desire and that single desire is to hurt people that's the desire that we have to the the people that are designated to us we like to hurt them that's the that's what gives us pleasure so when a person sees that sees hears of such a thing and then he hears the the the source ofab tell you that if you don't T when you can even that is not enough of a punishment for for for not learning T obviously puts things in perspective of the importance of learning T furthermore in writes woe to us on the Judgment Day woe to us on that Judgment Day as this is not meaning what he's about to tell us is not it's not things that I'm telling you that are above and beyond your obligation but rather these are these are from the from the from the that one cannot even waste an hour or even a moment of his life instead of learning T even if he learned T all day says that a person learns T all day he is in a he in learns all day he learned let's say he learned 15 hours that day and he goes home and he decides you know what let me just hang out on the couch chitchat check some check you know check some Facebook check some Tik Tok check some PPO all of these nonsense things over there R says to him woe to you on your your judgment day that you're wasting that time so this is why when I tell people stop wasting your time on Facebook and on Tik Tok and on Twitter and all those things if you're going to use social media go post something that's relevant to to to help people get closer to hasem and immediately run out of there immediately run out of there and go learn to don't ever spend even a single moment looking at comments looking at what other people are posting don't waste a single moment because the reality is you have such a responsibility such an obligation to learn tah that wasting any of that time is simply putting yourself in danger so now when we see how did the actually apply this to their lives shalom uh some stories about him in the in section 130 he was a uh uh uh in a situation where he had the yes baranovic and um obviously there was a major monetary deficit there was literally shortage of uh money to the point where uh it would it affected the talim to feed them to to to be able to uh to host them and so on so said how much do we need and after his a uh is the other rabim calculated everything they said we need 500 Sterling said okay he stopped learning picked himself up and traveled across the ocean to go raise money the same day that he uh that he arrived he got a uh message some you know some woman is needs a is wants to meet with them he says yes G how can I help you she says I need to donate money for the sake of T would you please help me he says yeah sure we have a Yesa she goes how much do you want to donate she says 500 Sterling says okay she gave him the 500 uh the 500 Sterling he took the money and went back home so on his way home the people that brought him there in the first place said why are you leaving now I mean she just one person I understand you got what you were looking for but if if you got this on the first day there are many other people that are looking uh to to donate them many other people that could take the opportunity you could raise a lot more says to them until now I was a I had a permission to leave the Torah because why I was I had no choice there's uh kids there's boys they going to go hungry we're not going to be able to keep the lights on so there was no way that I could learn to under that condition so I had to go but the second that I have the money that I need I don't have any more permission to leave the to I have to run back home I have to run back home to go back to learning T what I need in a future will will will will have mercy on us and we'll deal with it when that time comes but so long as I have what I need right now I have to go learn right now have to run back to the Torah R back to the Torah such a different mentality by the by that throughout the generations than the way that you have in the world today now aside from that if you want to see howas got to this point of course he learned under great but most notably he was the of the and when he was learning in the of the in he would learn 18 hours per day now this may seem like an impossibility to many of us but the reality is that the more a person learns the more they realize that it is be possible it is possible if a person only applies themselves of course this is not overnight this is not a something that's a uh uh uh necessarily uh uh what we're going to do tomorrow but nonetheless the mentality ity the mentality is indeed something that we can do tomorrow so now when you ask your average person if you're learning to and let's say your wife calls do you pick up the phone when you learn to and let's you hear one of your kids crying do you stop the Torah when you uh learn Tor but you hear there's a Sim next door do you stop your learning what do you do perhaps there's a few guys in the or the that are having a really interesting conversation that you over here do you stop and perhaps ask him maybe you can get involved and throw your two cents into it what do you do well let's see what you do you compare what you do you know what you do it's in your mind what you do what did do when you learned in of the very same SE in the same same section says that there was one time as the was actually learning and he got a uh telegram you know those days there's no text messages or or or whatsapps or emails there was telegrams and you got a telegram and typically people would send these telegrams if it was a emergency of some kind something extremely important somebody came to the raav and gave him a telegram he opens a telegram and he sees a message from his wife what's the message one of their children is very sick so ghosted and he tells him I got the telegram that my son is sick should I go looks at his student and he says are you a doctor he says no that was the end of the conversation because understood the answer from that simply went back to learning to Simply weren't back to learning to now your average person would say wait this is this is you know lack of emotions lack of care lack of this again the more a person learns to the more they understand their responsibility another time the uh uhel gets a uh gets a um telegram from his wife sees a message oh it's a uh message what son was born he comes to the he says a son was born mazalov says to him are you a mo meaning are you going to do him that was the end of the conversation he went back to learning Torah 18 hours a day without skipping a beat in his bio that was published years ago fantastic bio highly highly recommend for everybody to read the bio ofas and it's one of the most extraordinary lives you could ever imagine one of the time that was learning with another he gets a telegram your son was born he stands up while they're learning says the blessing of she yanu sits down goes back to learning the that was next to him was the one that told the story he says I couldn't believe my eyes his son was born he made a blessing went back to learning toah now again the mentality is far far far away away from us far away from us we're not saying that everyone starting tomorrow has to uh you know simply learn 18 hours a day and ignore their their current reality but what we are saying is that this reality that they had may be far from you but the current reality of wasting time on the internet wasting time with socializing wasting time doing nothing certainly is not Justified especially when we realize the consequence of not learning toah when the obligation is so dear that M the closenberg rebi built communities all over the world after the Holocaust losing his 10 children and his wife he still persevered built communities in Europe built communities in America built communities in Isel extraordinary commun unities if you go to his community in I'm told by will have the Merit to go visit there when we go to is he says you'll see that there's certain people in the K you know each one is uh they're not like the rest of the in the world where in essence everyone wears the same clothes you'll see that there's certain people that their clothes are different everybody's clothes is different that's not because they have different styles that's because the ad the clo cleaved himself to in his and wanted his wanted his to do the same thing you wanted to get accepted to his uh to his Yesa surely if you didn't know anything you be accepted to Yesa and they teach you but you wanted to get to the bigger yes you wanted to to get to the higher level you had to Simply pass the test what's the test you have to know 250 pages of gar by heart 250 pages of gar by heart once you know 250 pages of G by heart you have a seat but not only you have a seat no one can call you by your first name anymore can't just call heyi no no no you are now have a certain designation you know 500 pages ofar by heart now you have special socks or special jacket or a special hat you know a thousand Pages ofar by heartart you have a special clothes you have a special this special that the clothing changes not based Bas on what clothing store you go to and what your style is but rather is describing who you are describing who you are this is something that when I heard this the first time I said this is this is unbelievable Wonder of Wonders so we see from here that when you delve into the tah you truly find Miracles within Miracles and you literally see how the people that did do it how they live their lives how they LED their congregations Shalom was not only known as someone that was a very dedicated person to uh to learning tah but was as focused as can possibly be one time there was a very famous uh caner that uh that came into town and RAB yashi was very musically oriented he had a very deep passion for it and he wanted to attend he left the B midash and he started walking and he says as I was walking I started getting more and more excited about hearing this caner hearing this this beautiful holy songs not songs of uh you know songs of about hem but then I caught myself I said wait a minute the only thing that I should ever be as excited about as I am right now is about to he turned around went back to the and continued learning and skipped the event that he many people simply had a one once in a lifetime opportunity to be now there was one time an old man came into the BET midash of oil and uh said this's an old man in his 80s perhaps even 90s he says listen I uh many many years ago I was here and there was a young boy young boy that was learning non-stop I wonder what happened to that boy is any body know they ask him what was his name his name was uh ysep Shalom Yash they say to him oh that's he's still in exactly the same exact chair right now just look over there he's still in the same exact chair still learning to this day literally from the age of four until the age of 102 he didn't leave that chair he didn't live that chair why T is everything T is everything now when a person hears some of these stories if they are learning T then they connect if they're not learning TOA they have no idea what I just said they're like okay this is very nice it's not me though shalom in his brings the in his laws of Tor chapter 4 three and the says that a person that learns T doesn't only fulfill the but fulfills everything but one who doesn't learn toah is not only missing out on his mitvah of obligation of learning tah but it would have been better off had he remained unborn and never entered the world and of such a person it says in the name of in chapter 50:1 16 whereas to the wicked man God says why do you describe my statues and bear my Covenant on your mouth such a man's Torah becomes poison meaning this guy that doesn't learn Torah properly is a person that literally earns themselves a bad name in sham to say the least now how could such a thing be relevant to someone that is reading this weekly parasa let's see we know that there are multiple things in the Tor that are called called Covenant surely you've heard of the Covenant of Shabbat there's a covenant between and to observe Shabbat this is the reason why the Gentiles no matter how righteous they are are forbidden from observing Shabbat like the Jews do and needless to say that a Jew uh that Des create Shabbat by driving on Shabbat lighting fire on Shabbat working on Shabbat and violating the rest of the 39 according to the Torah is considered a idol worshipper not uh someone that is not necessarily the uh favorite inm's eyes in fact the rambam writes inat Chapter 30 the last that he's considered as no different than an idol worshipper and he loses his uh in essence his Jewish status so long as he continues to violate Shabbat if he wants to earn his Jewish status back then he has to observe Shabbat which means that so long as he desecrates Shabbat you can never use him as a witness in a Jewish ceremony you can't count him in Manan you can never use him as aan in AET you can't answer Amen to his kadish we're literally looking at somebody that's in a very very bad situation so much so that if you have a wine that's an uncooked wine a good quality wine and he picks it up you're no longer allowed to drink it in fact you're not even allowed to to uh do anything with it you have to pour it out because it's considered it's considered the Y the the wine of idolatry that such is the de on someone shat but a a non-jew is forbidden from observing Shabbat even if they mean well why this is one of the this is one of the covenants that hasem has one of the signs that Hashem has with am is another Covenant is the breit the Brit mil is an O between hem and is this is an originally a sign that hem made with abah a which later on transferred to is at Mount the third one is the O of thein is something that a Jew has to put on each day of the week with the exception of Shabbat and yum he has to put on a to fill in and of course a person that puts Onin and doesn't learn literally could be putting Onin throughout his entire life and not even getting the mitzvah for it why because he is using the wrong way either the is a uh is covered by a sleeve uh meaning that the sleeve is under the and there or it's too close to his elbow or it's on his forehead instead of on the line and all types of other all types of other or perhaps he puts them on the opposite way he's a he's a lefty but he's using somebody else's right-handed fine and he's not putting it the right way because if you're going to put it on if you're you going to use a right-handed person's and you're a left-handed you have to put on thein opposite and same thing vice versa a person that doesn't know the could literally be putting Onin every single day and simply not getting the mitvah not getting the mitzvah for it and this is one of the covenants that we have between us and a non-jew is not allowed to put on toiling this is not one of their covenants and also a person that's in a process of conversion also should not be putting on a uh tan until they're in the latter stages of conversion until they're in the latter stages of conversion simply because when a person starts taking on some of these uh specific Covenant types of mitv and fulfilling them 100% they become too comfortable with their current status which could easily lead them to Simply never convert and I've seen this and witnessed this with my own eyes people that literally started looking more Jewish than anybody else in the community but they remained that way for 10 or 15 years and never converted because they were simply never saw the reason for it they're already living like a Jew why should they convert not realizing that all of the mitv that they're doing are are simply considered as practice they're not getting a reward for it but to them it seemed like they were even better than the Jews and many times unfortunately people that do not end up converting end up hating Jews as a result of it and this is also something I've witnessed with my own eyes where people take on the mitvah they take on the learning and they don't end up converting for different reasons and what ends up happening is they start believing in their own deluded mind that they're actually better than the Jewish people because they saw some uh people that are not observing mitv and they see themselves as observing mitv and thereby thinking that they are better than them not realizing that you can't look at them that way number one number two you yourself are sinning by doing what you're doing so again people that do not have a rabbi that's going to lead them that's going to tell them the truth that's going to help them and guide them to the right path could easily go astray so the third is the of we also know that in the T it's mentioned that the there is another o that hasem put into the world another sign which is the rainbow rainbow is a sign a covenant that hasem made with Noah that he's never going to flood the world again he didn't say he won't destroy the world he simply says going to flood the world anymore and this is also of course something that's called an but there's also another there's another that I personally haven't heard anyone talk about I'm sure somebody has I'm sure you'll find it in theim surely but I'm talking about in certain lectures I haven't heard this being discussed and this is actually mentioned in this week's parasat this is not just a covenant that is relevant to previous generation but rather the r the the all say this is this is this particular this particular sign is a Torah obligation a Torah obligation and this Torah obligation this particular o is don't be like korak that's the O don't be like korak it says in chapter 17 that uh they uh this will be a sign to the children of isra why a sign why a sign so says the that this is a commandment from the Torah not to be like kak and be a heretic so why was kak the way he was how does it all have to do with the T how does it all have connect will try to show show you the different things from the beginning of where we started in first and foremost when you read the T you understand that every word is specifically placed there by a for specific reasons regardless of where regardless of how you see that every word is there and every word has ex you know literally endless meanings from it where you uh when you first see it you think oh took what's what can you possibly learn from took in his most recent that he published he uh in the beginning in he uh writes that Thea once had a smile on his face during the prayers and then a a sad face and then a smile and his asked him why did you you know frowned and then smiled he says because yesterday I had the to learn over 2,000 commentaries on a few words in thean three words in the in literally three words in the T I learned over 2,000 commentaries on it but then I uh in the morning I uh didn't want to forget these commentaries these Pim and I immediately as I woke up in the morning I started thinking about them but since I myself that you're not allowed to even think before you do even though says that you can think you just can't speak before you do I already started thinking about them and sh they judg me and they took away all 2,000 just imagine having 2,000 ideas in total needless to say over 2,000 ideas on three words and all of it was taken so I was crying to during my prayer please give it back to me please give it back to me that's why I was crying and I smiled when he gave it back to me and I remembered all of them so now you look at this you've looked at it perhaps a few times and he say what can you possibly learn from that K the son of son of son of Le took with the sons of elav and on the son of pet The Offspring ofen what can you possibly learn from those few things so certainly theim teach us that each word has a reason every name certainly has a reason one of theim I saw an art scroll that has a commentary on the uh on the par based on the they bring different and we saw that we also had a few of Our Own It says if you look at Theus says that um the son of of he uh took what does it mean that he took he took himself away from the community he separated himself says Unos he separated himself he did not consider himself as part of he decided he's going to go his own way he's going to learn his own way do his own way yeah but we have we have we have leaders we have yeah yeah I understand you have all those things I'm going to do on my own thing that mindset that came from arrogance is the mindset of unfortunately of heresy it's a mindset of disaster and this is what started kak already on his bad path but what got him on his bad path what got K on his bad path so the second word in the par says that the name itself say also spells the word is bald what ended up happening when hadu prepare the uh the the people that were going to serve in the mishkan he had to shave them they had to remove all their hair on their body so had to remove their hair on their head their beard so K that's now came home came home bald his wife saw him started screaming at him who what you do to yourself what are you doing he said no no this is part of serving hem this is part of serving hem I told you you shouldn't go I told you you should be separated it's just mosenu making fun of you because he was jealous of your beard goes no no they they did it also nah n they're just making fun of you and his wife the Wicked wife that his has what what what he what she do she warmed them up and heated him up against kak heated up against kak now korak didn't go by himself says that K had some friends who thean they came with them also thean what did we learn from thean thean D the tan is a also comes from the word d d is religion the T is the one that wanted to go against the D of Hashem the religion of Hashem just like the reformers just like the zionists just like the different types of Heretics that are out there that simply decide what to keep and what not to keep he calls himself an orthodox Rabbi that's homosexual he calls himself an orthodox Rabbi that is lgbtq a WC AIDS he calls himself all types of things this is thean thean wanted to change the law he didn't accept the law as it is he wanted something new what about his buddy a a comes from the word I I is that he made a fortification fortification and uh in essence fortification around his heart he hardened his heart that even though he had all the reasons in the world to do chuva because he's the one that got beat up by datan in Egypt and mosu saved him so he had all the reasons in the world to follow Moshe but he also didn't like to follow Moshe because Moshe told him to put on to filling Moshe told him to eat kosher Moshe told him to protect his wheat he didn't like that so he ended up following the same people that heard him in the past the now on on that comes from on is a morning on pelet initially went with with uh uh kak but after he started realizing that he's uh you know his wife told him that you're making a mistake you're going with korak instead of uh just staying out of it he realized he made a mistake he started mourning he started crying to to do CH and that's in essence what saved him and pet his last name pet comes from word PL Miracles it's a miracle that own did CH just like it's a miracle anyone today does Chu so here we see that just within the first verse we learned that every single word every single name that instilled into the world into this holy obviously has many many reasons but one of the things that many people never realize that all of it is relevant to their life is when they actually think about how did this all transpire meaning having a heretic is one thing but how did this heretic get everybody to follow him not just these datana on but also the 250 biggest rabbis of their day the exception of course ofu yesu and and a few others but he had 250 leaders that mosenu himself put in leadership how did do it says the was very rich was very rich and that's where it says that K took what is it took took also means bought kak took all ownership of all of these people because he gave all of them money and in essence he bought their opinions he bought their minds he bought their lives because he had so much money he bought all of these rabbis which of course is very relevant in the world today where many times you go to a synagog 20 years you see people are driving to the synagogue 20 years people are talking during 20 years people are going against and sometimes the rabbi doesn't say a single word why bought him K bought the Rabbi he doesn't want to say a single thing or sometimes he's a good Rabbi but he's afraid that the that are running the scho that are the board of directors are going to fire him so he says it's no use which again if you're in a position like that you have to leave the synagogue altogether why stay in the sh if you can't say what you have to say but of course it's a very big test but nonetheless a person needs to know that if you were bought because of money you are you have to find yourself a different job you have to find yourself a different job I heard a story from a rabbi once that uh had an issue with somebody in his community and he went to a different Rabbi and asked him uh you know what does he think he's like oh you're concerned about saying the truth he's like yeah a little bit he says yo you want people to like you's like yeah I do want people to like me he says okay so you should quit being a rabbi and go sell ice cream go sell ice cream if you want to be a rabbi you have to tell people the truth you have to go tell people the truth you can't just a uh say what's going to make them like you and unfortunately what ended up happening is that K knew exactly the price the number everybody had on their head and that's in essence what brought all of this disaster now when you go further you see that kak and the rest of his followers are attacking mosenu first by kak attacking mosenu by saying it's too much for you too much for you this all this leadership you're the leader your brother's a quen Gad too much for you what's going on over here and after uh uh after he says that mosu notices that all of the 250 rabbis that he brought in are all firstborns they're all firstborns why did he bring only 250 rabbis that all firstborns because K says look you put your brother as the qu but in reality until now for the last couple of thousand years theim were the first borns all of these rabbis over here they're all firstborns they are supposed to be Co not your brother in essence he was talking about himself he's supposed to be Co so he's saying to M it's too much for you that's why it says that Moshe heard and he fell in his face later on it says that Moshe andon fell in their face when hasm wanted to destroy all of but here it says that only mosenu fell on his face because mosenu was being accused of something but if that wasn't enough he also said by the way I know why you want why you're doing all of this because you want uh the uh you want leadership and you want your family to be leadership because what you're really doing is you are committing sins with everybody's wives and he embarrassed Moshe by calling him an adulterer calling him an adulterer that's why mosenu when he when he responded to him he says that uh mosu says to him that uh for the entire uh um that MOS heard and he fell and he spoke to kak and his entire assembly he says that in the morning in the morning Hashem will make known the one who is uh his own and the Holy One why okay if he's AEM he's obviously kados no noad means that tomorrow is going to prove that I kept my I kept my Kusa I kept my Holiness I did not violate my b not on my own and certainly not with anybody else's wife so here we see that little tidbit that we mentioned in the beginning of how is a uh and the whole issues of Kusha is mentioned in every par certainly we we can find it in many other places in this Paras and others but the point is that one of the things that that went against what did he do perhaps we should correct ourselves shouldn't say say that eventually will come out of Gom even though others say he has no share of the world to come either way K is the heritage that still in till this day why because he went against but he didn't go against it by simply bringing some Torah source that uh uh that is valid no he wanted to embarrass mosenu he wanted to make fun of mosenu he wanted to make mosenu look bad why because if you let's say for example you bring something from a Torah and another brings something from the reality is that even if you're right it doesn't always mean that the other person is wrong doesn't mean that they all because sometimes both sides are right on the other hand you could also risk the fact that you may be wrong but he didn't bring to love what did he bring he brought what the Heretics bring he brought personal insults personal insults personal embarrassments personal attacks why because once you start attacking somebody personally then you create all types of doubts in everybody else's mind and that's what made K so dangerous that's why Kosh punished him and his followers so severely because kak came to create doubts in all of am is in their heads simply by making up lies of how Moshe and Aon are taking advantage of people they're committing all types of heinous crimes adultery they're stealing money from people they ended up killing some woman because of their theft all types of nonsense but he said it so much and he said it so you know in such a charismatic way that it created doubts in everybody's mind and many ended up believing him and following him hence the reason why K wanted to destroy everybody because they literally countless of them ended up following K nowu says that this is going to be proven tomorrow not only who Hashem is with who he chose but that I'm kados that not only did I uh did hasem choose me but also to answer your uh your claims against me as far as K as far as me violating my bre that too he's going to prove that too he's going to prove because even if hasem chooses me you're going to say yeah he chose you but you're still an adulterer no no tomorrow is going to create a miracle a wonder that is going to make everything clear not only that he chose me but that I'm clean of any sin you everever said about me so this is one of the things that mosenu when he responds to them he says Hashem is going to do this tomorrow tomorrow why not today simple mosu had mercy on K and he hoped that he would do Chu the by the next day he wanted to give him some time but since he saw that kak wasn't responding to this he responded to him in kind by saying it's too much for you just like he said just like K said to mosu oh it's too much for you all this leadership all this power you already have this you already have that mosenu responded and kind saying no no it's too much for you it's too much for you and he also says to him you are looking at uh what Hashem gave you as insignificant that's what the the to says on the verse 9 in chapter 16 that in essence kak's heresy began surely with his wife saying heating him up but there had to be a root there had to be a root what was the root of all of it why was his wife able to actually heat him up and turn him against m and in essence turn him against because no matter how much gave he was still ungrateful hence the reason why mosenu says you're looking at everything that Hashem gave you whatever positions he gave you whatever job he gave you whatever money he gave you whatever blessing he gave you you're looking at it as insignificant you're an ungrateful person and that's what thear says that uh a person that loves money will never have enough money person that is ungrateful will eventually become a heretic against when a person doesn't realize that there's literally endless amount of reasons for you to serve a even if you don't consider the punishment just simply when you start calculating all the blessings that hasem gives you you have a vision you know how many people are blind you have a hearing you know how many people are deaf imagine that you had to uh function with sign language instead of being able to be uh spoken to or or to be able to uh uh to communicate to somebody else some people are mute some people are deaf some people are blind some people are not able to walk just by simply having those things that is more than enough of a reason for you to be grateful for everything else that you have including the problems hence the reason why the says that a person has to thank for the good and the bad and the bad just as much as the good meaning that you have to be just as happy about the terrible things that happen to you as you are about the good things that happened to you and if you're going to say to me oh I'm not at that level you're right you're not at that level and I also wasn't at that level and I'm also trying to be at that level meaning that in the beginning when I first heard it it sounded insane to me but when you learn more and more you start realizing I'm capable of getting to that level just like says in it's in your heart it's in your mouth to to fulfill it or it's in your mouth it's in your heart to fulfill it so you're capable of getting there if you simply aim there but if you're content with whatever you are you're happy with wherever you are that in essence is not only showing that you don't know what to is but also shows that you're ungrateful for what you have because when a person doesn't want more tah that means that they don't really think that tah is that good they think that it's oh whatever I'm just going to Coast I'm just going to Coast when a person doesn't try to get more of something it simply shows that they don't care so much about it they're content with it same thing with marriage same thing with children children same thing with the way you work many times you see a uh uh the the future of an employee based on their performance today how can you see the future of an employee based performance today simple you see how much effort how much effort they put into their job if you are one of those employees that just comes to work and simply looks at the clock waiting for the date to end your future is certainly not with that company and even if it's at that company it's certainly not going to be at a much better level you're going to be at that level or less uh you know for sure why because no boss will ever give you a promotion by you just doing the basics if you're one of those people that comes to work just to look forward to leave certainly you're never going to succeed at that company perhaps you should look for a different job that you actually going to perform better when you see somebody is zealous is excited to work is is is creating new ideas create has more passion every single day for what they do that's a person that you know this person certainly is not going to stay at that role they're only going to go higher why because that's a person that is not going to be content with where they are they're going to want more they're going to want more and they're going to get more because of their performance and that's the problem today that many people think that just because they exist they're entitled to more and this is obviously the reason why there's so many losers in a generation that don't end up even leaving their house they're content somehow they uh they managed to get a few dollars from some family member or the government of somebody and they simply remain losers and do nothing with their life this is a very very sad State of Affairs that has become standard in the world today in the previous generations there was no such thing as I don't feel like going to work there's no such thing as I'm going to live off of the government or somebody else giving me money and I'm just going to do nothing all day and play on the internet this is a loser mentality that unfortunately has become like a plague in the world but that plague all began with them having some type of role in life and being content with it and as a result of being content with it and not trying to aim for more they became content with being content and that became their new Mo that became their new personality and they simply just stayed that way across the board in their job in their marriage in their Parenthood in everything that they do and they simply just live like you know paint on a wall nothing no one cares if it's even there or it's not and unfortunately when you treat life that way you end up ruining your life the same concept goes when it comes to marriage if you're not going to work on continuously improving the marriage that marriage will die out that passion will die out that love will die out you'll end up becoming like roommate instead of uh a couple same thing with Parenthood if you do not constantly try to create new ideas to express your love express your your care to your children try to find new ways to get their attention try to get find new way ways to educate them more to do more for them guess what's going to happen those kids are little by little going to become more and more distant from their parents and eventually they're simply going to move away and you're maybe going to hear a phone call out of them once a year why because the more you invest into something the more that something connects to you the more you uh the more you show love to something the more that something connects to you the less you show the the less the uh the other thing shows and that's what ends up happening when a person is think oh so that means that I have to spend all my time with my wife and all my time with my kids and therefore I don't have time for the Tora wrong to show love to show care to show affection doesn't require all of your time it could literally you could do all of this in a single hour or a day or even less sometimes a person showing care showing affection doesn't require all of their attention it just requires that when you're giving that attention you're giving all of your attention you're not still playing with your phone you're not uh talking to somebody else you don't have something else on your mind you're putting all of your effort for that particular time the same thing goes with work no one says that in order to be a good performer at work you have to work over time and work at 4:00 in the morning and at 2:00 in the morning and at 2 o'clock in the afternoon at all hours no simple when you're working you're working you're not playing with your phone you're not worrying about lunch you're not worrying about dinner or what you're going to do on the weekend you're there and you're putting your best performance you know that this company is paying you an x amount of money for your time you're putting your best on that just as if you were the boss and you want somebody to work for you for the money that you pay them but when a person doesn't put effort into something doesn't get excited about something doesn't look forward to it guess what you already know the future of that person it's either ending in that place or simply staying exactly what they are and simply becoming just like paint on the wall that everybody knows it's there but no one really cares about it the more you want to grow the more you want to invest into something but unfortunately some sometimes a person gets a lot of gifts gets promotions gets uh uh blessings and is simply ungrateful just like kak kak was ungrateful and that's why mosu says to him you uh you look at everything that was given to you whether it's your way to serve AEM in the mishkan as one of the leim or being the richest man of the land or being married with children or being a Jew all together or you know you look at all of that as insignificant you want even more that's the root of your heresy that's the root of your heresy and that what that's what ended up happening is that mosenu uncovered the root of the heresy of korak he exposed him that's the root of his heresy korak on the other hand tried to create an exposure on mosenu by calling on all types of things now the question is why did korak choose this particular thing why did Heaven allow korak to embarrass mosu isim the man of God with such an awful accusation very very simple says the bov the yet will come and attack you on the things that you are strongest in meaning he's not going to attack you on the things you're weakest he's going to attack you on the things that you're strongest in so if you're really strong with Kusha expect somebody like K to call you an adulterer if you are somebody that's very good with learning T expect somebody to try to show you that you're making mistakes and your learning and your teaching and so on if you're good at something specific expect the to attack you there that's what Didu was the only person in history that asked him to leave his wife meaning the level of Holiness of mosenu was Superior to all he was the only one that was able to contain himself to reserve himself by being married to the and not to his wife that means that his level of Kusa was literally Superior to our understanding hence the reason why why k went and attacked him and called him an adulterer and also a thief because didn't take any money he says to don't listen to their prayers in a positive way because even the accusation they have about me stealing money even a donkey that I used to go free them from Egypt they didn't pay me for so even that has to be proven so that of course is one of the things we learned that kak has a certain thing that he goes after mhu and mosu responds in kind now the that follow follow mosenu they also have claims against uh against mosenu and they also are using the words against mosenu oh you're saying we're ungrateful you're ungrateful look how what were we going to be grateful for you're you're uh uh what you've given us is is is is not enough it's insignificant you took us uh out of the land of milk and honey forgetting that the rest of is weren't in a position of leadership like the that was they were uh they were in essence put in the position of power in in in Egypt but the rest of am is were being murdered alive uh murdered in the streets by the Egyptians so he's saying you took us from the land of of milk and honey and you promised to take us to the milk land of milk and honey and you didn't what does that show the root of the heresy that came from uh from the first and foremost was their greed their Greed for their position they wanted their position the second rote is there a lack of patience mhu says hasem told me I'm going to take you to get you out of Egypt and I'll take you to is I'm going to take you to take you to the land of milk and honey they're saying yeah but you didn't get there yet yes but it's not in my hands it's not in my hands to take you to right now whenever hem said I followed if I didn't get you to now that's because the will of hem is not yet now if I don't have a building right now that's because it's the will of hem not for me to have a building if I don't have a uh this right now that's because the will of hm but I'm following the will of hem it's not my fault that you're impatient and that's one of the things that happens many many times you see in different communities in different people in different relationships where people literally lose hope not because hope is lost but rather because they have no patience they have no patience they want it now like a little baby you know I have three Little Treasures in my house that my children and my big treasure which is my wife God bless her give her 120,000 years and all these amazing Treasures they're all unique in their own and one of the things that my wife and I always struggle with is how to contain the impatience of a child because there's just so much that you can do they want something they want a candy they want a present they want whatever they want they want it now now oh we're going to Israel okay now now we're going to Israel no no it's a month and a half but can we go now can we go now that's a child now if it's with a cute kid that that makes you happy and you can pick him up and play with him fine you contain yourself you deal with it you you figure out a way to deal with it what ends up happening is that it's not just with a 5-year-old it's not just with a seven-year-old it's not just with a three-year-old you know what it is it's with adults it's with 20 year olds and 25 year olds and 15 year olds and 45 year olds and 50 year olds and all types of people they don't have the same patience just like the little 5-year-old and they don't have an excuse just so you know that lack of patience is only a stone throw away from being like the T Stone throw away why because when a person is not patient they cannot get to anywhere in life they can't get to anywhere in life because they're already going to lose all of their steam along the way if they're working in a business but they want to get a certain promotion they want it now boss says okay I understand you want your promotion now you don't deserve it now or the position is not available now check with me again in six months we'll review your performance and we'll see check me with me in a year we'll review your performance and we'll see no no I want it now you want it now I'm sorry we on now so the guy leaves little does he know that had he stayed he would have actually ended up getting the promotion much more than he thought three months later not six or not or 12 months but since he did not have the patience he ended up losing hope many times with relationships what ended up happening somebody is looking for a Zog oh I need a I need to get married Rabbi you got to send me somebody I understand I'm not God I don't have any uh any control of the world if I have somebody that's fit for you I'll send it over oh no I need somebody I'm already 35 I'm already 45 I'm already 95 I'm already this I understand it's not in my hands you have to do your effort I'll do whatever effort I can you'll get something what ends up happening she ends up sinning with some go or he ends up sinning with some Goya how can you do this how can you ask for a blessing and then go and literally declare yourself an enemy of hem by going and sinning against the Torah you know you're not allowed to be with a non-jew you know you're not allowed to be with a married woman you know you're not allowed to be with a married man how can you do such a thing and yet have the audacity to ask Hashem for a blessing how ah you don't have patience you don't have patience you can't control your desires you become like you become like patience is critical it's critical in a relationship you want your relationship to work you want your marriage to work you have to have patience for each other if you're not going to have patience for each other simply just declare that relationship ending ending in just a matter of time if you're not going to have patience for each other you're simply never going to allow each other to speak to express yourself to develop something that's worth something you're never going to get to a point of actually getting to some type of clarity some type of Common Ground why because you want your point they want their point and ends up happening Satan is the only one that gets his point it's very important for a person to know from this the the root of all of their evil was not just their greed but was expressed through their lack of patience and what ended up happening with all of these people what ended up happening ended up convincing many other people many other people to follow them and of course told mosu to separate himself from those people and mosu says that uh you have to you have to separate yourself from these from these Wicked people why because them and whatever I gave them meaning all of the blessings that I gave them are going to be swallowed up why why swallowed up out of all all things in the world very simple says to everybody mosu says that if these die like like the death of all men and the assessment of all mankind is assessed upon them then it's not hasem who has uh sent me but ifem will create a phenomenon and the ground will open its mouth and swallow them and all that is theirs and they will descend alive to G then you shall know that these men have angered AEM so what does it mean that if hem will create a phenomenon if hasem will create a new creation what's a new creation we already know from the m that hem didn't doesn't make New Creations and even the uh the mouth that swallowed K of G swallowed K wasn't a new creation was already one of the 10 things that were created before Shabbat so how what is mosu asking for here he says AEM you created three openings to G created different openings to G I believe that uh no uh I I'll remember I think it's so says to that you have multiple openings multiple openings page 19B so says you have different openings for Gom not asking you to create a new opening just move one of those openings to Gom to right here to right here move it over here so they see that this is not just a bad luck move that opening to of Gom right here so people see the judgment and the ultimate uh the uh the decree itself what ends up happening to these people so people literally saw K and his family fall into Gom and until this day K is actually screaming in Gom that Moshe is the truth his Torah is the truth and he is a liar this is something that's that alive and well until this day this is why one of the proofs that obviously Gom is not just 12 months needless to say that uh that the people got scared the followers the the the 250 rabbis that followed uh uh korak who burned all of them alive and uh they uh obviously uh sinned by following korak they they weren't as bad as korak so therefore they got a different decree but nonetheless they also got a horrific decree as far as their death penalty and uh one of the things that a person sees here is that the torah's treatment the torah's treatment to its people that ignore it and needless to say the torah's treatment against people that go against it is very harsh very harsh whether it's the words of the bat for people that don't learn when they have the time to learn or a that says that moved the opening of Gom from where it was to be literally right under kak and all of korak and his possessions went into G you see here that by going against Moshe by going against the Torah by going against hem the sentence is severe now how did the treat such things because when you speak of about Heretics today when you speak about bad people today people uh cringe people oh you shouldn't say that it's not nice what about Unity even if they're reformers shouldn't you love them anyway and all types of mumbo jumbo the best place to look at is to look at how the how treat the now of course many people have heard the arguments between and and how would tear him up him and his heresy but there's another that I saw recently in page 48b where there was a one of the sikim would constantly deal with this rash named SAS s and this rash was not like the today the today mostly are ignorant people they don't know anything but the of the previous generations they were actually very smart people and they knew a lot of Torah and this rash comes to RAB and he says you the Jewish Nation are destined to draw water for me in the uh world to come because it says in your Tora and you will draw water with meaning my name like he's making fun of the Tora that his name is in the Tor in Ence you are all of you religious people even when uh uh your mashia comes you're going to be you're going to be serving me not not the opposite so says R to this heretic had the verse been written and you shall draw water for S it may have been interpreted as you say but however it's not written this way it's written you shall draw water with s and the verse means that the skin of that person named sason will be made into a Canen and will be used to for watering uh for water drawing meaning you you rash that are going against the Torah you heretic you should know that although your idea sounded good it only sounded good in your head because you have just like your mentality is distorted across the board even your reading of a is distorted because in reality if you even want to look at that verse it says that you I'm is going to take you and turn you into a canteen you're going to be like the dust under the uh under the feet of theim and this you see one of the greatest it's mentioned by name meaning that he was able to resurrect the Dead with his prayers somebody like that speaking if you said that today in the world today they uh put uh they fire him from theet they wouldn't let him back into K and they probably write a few articles about him in the papers but in the that's how you talk to people that are in the world of Tor that's how you talk to people that are that are going against the Tor that's what happened with mhu M spoke to to korak initially in a nice way but when he saw oh you're not uh you're still not doing oh so you're saying it's too much for me it's really too much for you you're saying that I'm taking something that belongs to me belongs to other people in reality it's everything that you're doing everything that you're you're accusing me of that's because you are actually the guilty one and that's what ended up happening and we have the for us today that we see that does not allow does not allow for the to win you know for in perpetuity of course there are times the get look like they're winning but when a person sticks to the Tor they'll know that who has his reasons of why the world is like a like a circle a round circle things are sometimes up sometimes down there is ways that he tests us there's ways that he elevates us but needless to say when a person learns T is dedicated to to they're already happy and as excited as can be to be a servant of Hashem no matter what the conditions are no matter what the conditions are why because even if you have Financial issues uh all types of other issues when you realize what T is and you have access to that t you're already happy with your share why because I already have heaven right in front of me I have a book I have a lecture I have to in front of me I already have more than enough I'm able to listen to the lecture I'm able to to watch it I'm able to read the books that's it I already have more than enough all the other things that are around money issues this issue that issue fine okay that's just different test that hasm is sending me I already have my T I have more than enough reason to uh to be happy when a person doesn't learn T he has no idea why the Torah would even help him because he's never even tried it so this two will give each and every single one of us the drive the motivation the inspiration the co the strength to start learning like we're supposed to to start dedicating oursel to full force but even more more so to use our time appropriately if our time has to be used for work let's use that time more effectively if our time is there to uh uh be with our kids let's use that time more effectively if our time is supposed to be with our spouse let that time be more effective let that time be more more more meaningful because when you're putting everything everything you got into each thing that you do what ends up happening is that you end up putting everything you got into everything you do and the Beautiful part about it is that that also will affect your Torah learning because if you're used to putting all you got into your relationship with your spouse into your relationship with your children into your work into your profession guess what you're also going to put everything you got into your Torah learning and we will all do that with that being said I'm going to get a little bit of a drink and then you guys could ask the questions that you have okay let's see okay so uh here we go all right Charlie is the first question that I see uh so anyone that asked questions before Charlie asked this particular question just so you know I don't have it on my screen it's not that I don't want to answer it I just don't have it because when more texts come in the old texts get erased by Facebook Okay question by Charlie is if you finished all of the Shak prayers through am and you only had 20 minutes left which is better to do to try finish the rest of prayers or to study t uh if you uh have only 20 minutes to uh to pray for the rest of Shak you'll be able to do both uh typically the rest of prayers after theid is maybe another 10 minutes and you'll have 10 minutes to uh you'll have 10 minutes to uh to study now you ask me why shouldn't you uh spend that 20 just studying T that's based on your prayer the says that of those Generations meaning over 2,000 years ago they used to medit uh uh meditate for 3 hours pray for three hours and then meditate again for three hours for each one of the prayers like you know something uh something unbelievable uh it doesn't you know or or something like that it's a enormous amount of time or or an hour no meditate for an hour pray for hour and then meditate for an hour and do it three times meaning they would spend nine hours a day just praying so the ask them if they're if they're praying for 9 hours a day when they have time to learn toah when they have time to learn toah say very simple When you pray that much with that much meaning you uhem gives you enough that even the little bit of time that you have to learn T is a uh you'll get a what somebody gets in uh five five years of learning to now the question is why would they need need so much time to meditate before they learn to in preparation before they uh before they pray meditate before they pray and meditate after they pray why do we even have all of the different uh sections of and the all the other the prayers before the which is really the foundation of your prayer is the and uh all of the other prayers are very important but if if push comes to shove and somebody could only put on the fill in then they uh if they do put on to fill in and say they fulfill their obligation if they just do they fulfill their obligation of prayer for the for for for the day so of course we do more but the point is is that why is there more what's the extra for you know it's a people always ask this question the key is to understand that the answer to that is from that particular when a person understands the value of Prayer they understand that they have an opportunity to meet one onone with one onone with and the the prayer is broken up into pieces in such a fashion that broke up the prayer in such a fashion that the words that are coming out of your mouth Elevate you to different levels in sh your is in essence supposed to be elevated to higher and higher levels with each and every single paragraph that by the time you get to the is you are at a certain level that is almost the climax almost the highest you can be because that's as close you can be in essence to the by the time you get to the you're supposed to be at the highest possible level literally as if hem is right in front of you so in essence to elevate yourself to that point can't be done in a second it takes those prayers now after a person has elevated themselves and has prayed amid which such kavana and has completed the amid he has to come back to earth to come back to earth to come back to the regular where where he was before he started praying also takes you have to go down slowly because if you C if you go down fast you'll crash so that's why there's the extra verses after the extra paragraphs after now the of the previous generation were even higher than that where they literally would already be an extraordinarily high level from the beginning hence the reason why why they meditated for that hour before prayer then prayed for an hour and and meditated for an hour after prayer they were in such high level that they literally to get themselves to where they need to be from the beginning of prayer required effort for an hour and to lower themselves to in essence their level of normaly required an additional hour after prayer so the point being is is that when you start uh uh putting more and more Covenant behind your prayer you'll realize that your your prayer does require that time if you want it to be an effective prayer and when you pray better you learn better and even more so it's very important for a person to know that if they truly want to learn to is going to see it and if he sees you wanting to learn toah he'll give you opportunities to learn toah perhaps it's going to be then perhaps it's going to be 20 minutes early perhaps you go to pray 20 minutes earlier so you could study that 20 minutes before you pray rather than study 20 minutes after you pray it's a very good idea by the way to uh to actually learn tah a little bit before you pray uh and uh and that's what a lot of used to do the basali and many of theim uh and would wake up in the middle of the night and uh after sleeping for just a few hours and start learning at 1 two o'clock in the morning all the way until sh then they would pray and then we go back to learning sometimes they would eat something for a little bit and then go back to learning but the uh uh the learning before prayer is very valuable sure the learning after praying is also valuable but the keys to know is that a person shouldn't necessarily uh uh discard their prayer because that prayer is your personal meeting with uh next question is you discussed a couple of weeks ago and it's nearly impossible to fix I've been having terrible memories of I made uh what if we know we made in the beginning of our Chua Journey needless to say before chuba people would think I am a religious Jew by uh by the taped up wrapped kosher food but I'm afraid my behavior and dress were not where they should have been ah okay this is a very good question so a person needs to know that if if they weren't glued to the Torah certainly they have a some big sins under their belt some of them may be and most likely are if you desecrated Shabbat it's also if other people knew you were Jewish and you're violating the T that's also so certainly is something that's under their belt and it's not an easy thing to fix why because to uh to fix requires K uh that's what says andaz says and all [Music] um and uh and it's a is not an easy thing so he says the way to understand it is that is so big that the uh punishment for it is not even in this world it only starts after a person dies because there's not enough punishment in this world to fix on the same token the reward for Kem is not in this world it's in the next world because there's not enough good in this world to give you a reward for your K so says the way to eliminate the that a person has under their belt is by doing K and in essence put themselves in such a position that they've put they've created so much Kem that a uh it it's takes care of whatever past that they have now as far as how does a person create Kem sometimes people think that creating Kem is just anytime that you're doing a nice thing for somebody else it's K it's not necessarily so uh sometimes it's easy sometimes it's not but one of the great things that uh uh a person can do K is simply by helping other people do Chua by being involved in K by helping people do Chua your whole life turns into K and what ends up happening is is that the more a person delves into learning tah and also helping other people learn tah helping other people get closer to hashm the more is going to give them opportunities to do even more of it why because says wait a minute you have a person let's say has 100 under their belt and this person says okay yeah you know I I want to do K and they start they get you know they start doing kiru they donate a few dollars they give out some USBS they sponsor a lecture they got let's say five k under their belt hasem sees oh five k amazing the person says oh five I have 95 more to goem says no no no you're mistaken it's not 95 more to go why because those five gave you a I'm going to open up a door for you to do another 25 as a result of those five as all those five I'm opportunity to do another 25 why because since I see you like Kem the reward for a Mitzvah is another Mitzvah meaning since you did K the reward for it in this world is going to be an opportunity to do the same exact thing again so a person pushes again and he realize oh I'm doing K again and little by little puts that person in a position where they literally have made a whole lot more K than they've ever even imagined but again it requires effort it requires a uh persistent and consistent person but nonetheless he puts a person in a situation where their past doesn't only get wiped out but their past turns into MIT why does a past turns into says the that when a person helps other people do CH it's the highest expression of love for hasem because when you want to show somebody that you love them you you the best way to do it is by showing affection to their kids meaning if let's say for example you saw a teacher tell you your kid is terrible stupid late uh this that automatically you're thinking okay maybe this teacher is right maybe he's wrong but either way this teacher doesn't really like my kid doesn't like my kid you know either way this teacher doesn't like my kid but if you say to you you meet with the teacher say listen you know your your your son is an amazing gifted kid M Precious Heart special he's sometimes late but I know he doesn't mean it he's sometimes a little Rowdy but that's only because he's a kid and you know what he has a lot of potential and his teacher starts giving you compliments about your kid and says oh yeah you know uh on Tuesday we had a special day and we went and your kid was the best and he remembers all the wonderful things about your kid automatically say wow I love this teacher why do I love this teacher because he loves my kid when that teacher loves my kid I love that teacher when a person loves is by showing hasem that he loves them by showing by bringing them closer to Hashem Hashem says Ah that means you love me if you love me I'm turning all of your sins into mitv because Chu from Love is the highest level of Chu and it turns all of the sins into mitv meaning that not only does a person end up doing the mitvah of K with with helping people do Chu but also the reward for it is multiple fold it's number one it's a the Kem which is MIT in itself two it's helping another person do Chua three it's expressing love in the highest level to hem and four it literally transforms all of the past crimes including into mitvah into meaning the says even if a person has Torah learning and like he's still not going to be on a high level like the person that is a that helps people do CH which means that the greatest solution to the past of anyone that has sins which is pretty much everybody is to help people do Chua are there other ways to do K sure are there other ways to do mitv sure but is there another way that is as effective and as needed in our generation not that I know of not that anyone that I know knows of simply put theim have made it clear that anyone that helps people do Chua is not doing them a favor only is literally doing themselves the greatest favor in the world because there are certain sins that a person doesn't even remember they made or they just don't know the mag the significance of it they don't know the significance of it so when a person helps other people do chuva AEM in essence rewards that person by giving them the opportunity unities to solve that problem to remove that problem Al together and to even transform that problem into a merit just imagine your average person makes let's say for argument sake let's say the average person makes a uh if he makes 10 mitv a day most likely he makes at least 50 sins a day again uh this is obviously depends on the person and most likely the numbers are much greater but for argument sake your average person makes more sense than but it doesn't mean that they're necessarily Wicked because it also depends on the size of the mitv and the size of the sins if let's say for example their mitv are learning T and they uh protecting their bre and giving and so on and their sins are okay they didn't study as much as they should have they missed five minutes here and there they forgot a blessing here and there they forgot to uh watch their hands here and they okay those are sins but nonetheless they're not as big as the MIT so person makes more sins then but nonetheless he's still in good shape imagine that a person is not this righteous person has 20 30 40 Years of every day majority of their day is just sins and not just sins but huge sins that's creating Shabbat you know intimacy with non-jews uh intimacy with married people that are not your married people uh you know stealing this that like all types of things im a person lives 20 30 40 50 years of of sins and big sins young people they're eating a pig sandwich but then they do Chua a miracle of its own and not only that they start helping other people do Chua either by contributing their time their skill or their money sees the miracle that is their Chua the miracle that is the other people that are doing chuba and only after this person dedicates themselves to making CU of their priority in their life will they only start realizing the miracle that they're earning themselves literally paying for it every day by doing this CU because now that CU is transforming those infinite sins that they made the big ones the biggest ones into mitv meaning that even if they're now A righteous person and they do good things they're still ratio it's going to be more sins than MIT even if the mitv are big they're still this the number is still big now now they have all of those current and the past are turning into mitv which means that they arrive in sh says somebody that does K like seriously there's no judgment for them they simply walk past the bedin there is no bedin they don't remind them of anything there is no no one can judge such a person they have access to anywhere they want that's what the Z says why because everything is a mitvah meaning all of the past sins they've ever made don't exist anymore they've all turned into mitv so they walk up to sh like they own the place and that's what the says about r r was the nephew ofos and after diedes where is in says different that are out there that toil in Tor they go visit each other there's the ofu there's theim the the and every time somebody wants to visit each other let's say he wakes up he wants to go learn with mosenu today he goes to the angel says I want to go to mosenu okay no problem we'll take you to theu he learns withu the next day he wants to go learn with a he goes to AB next day he wants to he goes to but the Angels take him everywhere says is not like that why no one takes him anywhere he can go anywhere he wants can go anywhere he wants no one can say anything to him like he owns the place why so when a person understands these things then they could finally understand the very well-known teachings where when re heard this and saw this withes he was an old man already he ran in the streets looking to help anybody he can to do there weren't many secular people back then so you have to go look for them but he literally went in the streets looking to help anybody he possibly can do Chua he says my nephew myal he's in the highest possible level why he help people do chba so when a person actually invest their effort into kiru there is nothing greater than that hence the reason why even if somebody invest money for example in a that's great thing that the highest thing is is you know is is the greatest thing but the say that there is something slightly greater slightly bigger why it's helping people do chuba why is helping people do Chu even bigger than Torah very simple learn T you get the MIT of that particular person that's fantastic but you help somebody do CH you get them of everything and anything that they're ever involved in including all of their descendants meaning that person did cha that person is going to marry a righteous woman she that they're going to have children those children are going to be religious one of them is going to learn this another one's going to learn that one of them is going to be a rabbi another one's going to be an guess what they're going to marry people they're GNA have kids those kids are going to be rabbis those kids are going to be those kids are going to do those kids are going to you get everything for what for that one USB for that that one thing for that one action that you took so when a person realizes the significance of helping people do CH they start looking for people they start looking for opportunities I spoke to a veteran someone that's been in the C of world for many years almost three decades and I saw he times are tough and uh the uh it's it's a not not an easy world to be in the world of kiru not an easy world to help people do CH there's all types of yet and I asked them once you know you say that uh you wanted to uh maybe take uh you know retire or to uh stop and he says yeah so ask him what's keeping you what's keeping you from doing I mean you did good you know what's keeping you he says how could I give up on all those B how could I give up on all those people that do CH from my sh for my books for my how could I give up on it meaning that when a person truly understands what they're getting by helping people do Chua literally they'll sell their house for it this is why it's very sad it's very sad sometimes that you see people get on the right path and then they think that they're doing something else and unfortunately you get to see that you get to see certain people they start doing kir of themselves or contributing to it but then at some point or another the sends them some different distraction and they said no I'm going to take a break and then I'm going to come back and what ends up happening they never come back why for you to be able to succeed in doing kiru whether it's successful through speech or through writing books or through giving CDs and USBS or pamphlets or arranging lectures or even successful in donations you have to have Merit meaning a has to want you to do K he has to actually want it why because the reward he has to pay you is simply too great R to simply just pay it for anybody hence the reason why you see certain people have been giving lectures for 20 30 years till this day five people 10 people are listening to them other people they've been giving lectures for five or 10 years and you see many more people listen to them now the numbers are not necessarily always true in a sense that sometimes you have less people but it's more more actual influence more people but they're causing people to sin like the have many many fence but what I'm talking about here is the ones that have the greater reach usually it's because they have the much much greater Merit much much greater Merit where Hashem wants this person to do a lot more why they sacrificed a lot more I know a guy who was already teaching toah he said he taught toah for over 20 years he says 20 years average class that he would give two to four people 20 years straight two to four people every class one year maybe like five six years ago apparently he did something that opened up the Gates of Heaven and all of a sudden he became one of the most popular people in is literally every lecture 100 200 300 500 people don't ask me who it is I'm not going to tell you just simply it's not necess NE but the point being is why what happened in those 20 years what happened in those 20 years what happened is very simple 20 years he was paying his dues in order to earn the Merit of what he's going to get after to keep that Merit he has to work even harder than he did the first 20 years now some people are able to do what he did in 20 years in 6 months or a year or two years depending on a level of sacrifice some people Unfortunately they end up getting the stage finally getting the audience finally and they end up falling off and they take that uh that uh added Fame and and popularity to their head and it was better off they never did it because they end up uh misleading people but the key is that a person needs to know that for them to succeed in helping other people do chuva the reward is so great that Hashem has to actually want you to succeed for your donation of time of money of time of money money of of skill of of of effort of whatever it is for that to actually help people do Chu Hashem has to want it it requires a certain amount of Merit because that reward that you'll get for successfully helping people do Chua is literally going to transform you into someone that's Untouchable someone that is done the highest level of Heaven no one is higher literally no one is higher than that person he's he's above the Stars that's what the uh the and says person that helps people do CH is above the Stars it's a person that literally has no de in sh there is no bed there is no mention of the past there is no past that's bad everything is meot so when a person realizes wait I could have been a murderer a rapist whatever I was and now I'm going to transform my life and obviously do Chua myself and helping other people do Chua as a full-time thing as something that I'm going to put all my effort even if he's not doing it like professionally but I'm going to constantly give my or my for the sake of I'm going to dedicate my life and make this a priority in my life that's going to help me but not just help me but transform me into something like nothing else can compare to it nothing else can compare to it and that's why people that are typically in it that are doing it for the right reason they simply never leave even with all of the difficulties and all the troubles and that's why even even again Shalom literally was doing K until on his deathbed until the last days he was helping people do CH there are some some rabbis in and other places they're literally 85 years old still doing K still helping people do cha when when you understand the significance of it and you realize that the reward is so great but also the expression of loving Hashem is so great you simply uh realize you don't have another choice you already you g you were given a gift and you have to take it for for for everything you possibly can because that gift is uh is is unlike anything else so for a person that has whatever past they have if they truly transform their life and they take on uh doing kiru they literally transform any past into a blessing and literally they'll have more of their sins turned into into mitv than probably the mitv that they actually fulfilled naturally that's the reason why it's such a great thing uh okay next the next one I see is is asking what happened to it oh here we go will you please explain how sha had such a tragic kingship despite being so righteous he didn't even want to be a king in the first place did take away his free will uh thank you uh no the uh the the Torah says and the discusses it that sha as righteous as he was uh got got what they call and he uh was led to believe that David was trying to steal his kinghood and uh unfortunately he believed a few wi Wicked people like who has no share of the world to come uh because do was the head of the S was the head Rabbi and uh he uh that led sha to make multiple mistakes as a result of this single uh single uh mistake that he made if you will and uh this is why uh this led him to make other mistakes but nonetheless he still considered a sadik he still went to ganeden he still has a share of the world to come next to Shi so let's not misunderstand and think that uh that Shaul was uh anything less than he was which is being a sadik but making mistakes yes he made mistakes and uh uh he paid for them uh but he still was a very very big sadik and his is right next to uh as far as the mistakes that in essence is not only showing that he was You know despite being a sadik he's still human just like despite being a sadik Moshe is still human uh you know he he he made in essence in his level he made mistakes a in his level made mistakes everybody makes mistakes so it shows that they're still human they're not Supernatural uh but aside from that it also shows how objective our tah is to show the uh the the good and the uh the bad in everybody unlike the other religions that only personify their leaders as perfect and practically Dees uh or outright deedes AR is objective AR shows the good and the bad the good and the bad about the sages the forefathers and everybody in it there is a and there's no there's no righteous person that won't sin this is a rule in the world so long as you're a human being you have an evil inclination and you will make certain mistakes there's the discusses the mistakes of certain sages and how hasem saves some of them from them beforehand some after hand for example immorality there's a rule in the Tora in in Tor that meaning that no one is above immorality meaning that if a person doesn't work on themselves day and night and doesn't watch themselves they could easily fall for immorality AKA almost fell for immorality both of them the the uh transformed himself into a very beautiful woman and they went after those women literally running after her imagine this old sadik running after woman yeah that's what happened and one of them swam across the uh the river for it and uh and and wanted to go after this woman and you know last minute the uh their Torah protected them and the yet transformed back into the yet that he is into the Satan that he is and said to them if they didn't scream your name in sh saying their T is very precious to me don't mess with them I would murder you right now kill you right now for even wanting to sin with this thing that you thought was a woman meaning that but it was to show them that they're still human even abay abay says that when he saw these two uh uh young people two young people didn't know each other they went on uh they went on a long path and uh AB was an old man was following them to see to make sure they're not sinning followed them for a very very long distance and he saw that once they got to that uh City that they want they parted ways without ever touching each other nothing they were in the woods they were this never never touching yourself AB started crying he says if I was him I would have sinned already with this girl meaning that no one is above the immorality no one is above sin altogether hence the reason why put into the world Chu to put CH so it's a uh it's not a uh uh such a anomaly that sha uh made a mistake uh but again the sin itself doesn't make the person person into a wicked person it's what they do after the sin that makes them into a wicked or a righteous person if a person sins and then does chuva then guess what that person is a sadik that person is a righteous person they even get Merit for that chuva they get rewarded for that chuva on the other hand if the person makes a sin and then just says you know what I made one sin I'm going to continue making sins that's a wicked person that's a wicked person it's the decision of what you're going to do after you fall that is going to determine who you really are so that's in essence the difference when when sha first realized that he made a mistake with Amal and he uh should he should have also destroyed their uh uh their their their cattle their sheep uh he initially tried defending himself by blaming it on something else but when he realized that he mistaken he said I'm sorry he said I'm sorry Shmo said to him had you said I'm sorry right away Hashem would have forgiven you because you tried defending it hm didn't forgive you and you lost your kinghood what he didn't also know is that were also they were also Wizards and they actually transformed themselves into sheep so the sheep that he was supposed to slaughter he didn't Slaughter because he wanted to bring them as sacrifices for Hashem even though Hashem didn't ask him for sacrifices he asked them to kill everything that they have he wanted to do a mitvah that no one asked for and on him it is written on it's written don't be overly righteous don't do more than Hashem asked you to do Hashem said do a do a don't do a and then say you know what let me just do b c and d no one asked you to do BC and d and this is not to be confused with is not doing BC and D is doing a better than you you're even supposed to you're still with a but it's even better than what a is supposed to be but the point is with SH he made a mistake by adding something that he wasn't supposed to add and then when he was uh uh uh rebuked for it instead instead of immediately saying I'm sorry he made the same mistake as ad who didn't say I'm sorry right away and therefore neither one of them were forgiven were forgiven right away only after the fact they said I'm sorry but they still had to get some type of punishment had he said I'm sorry right away then Hashem would have forgiven him and to also prove that uh sha was a very righteous person is thear says that if sha and David's roles were were uh different the opposite of each other meaning that DAV would have been the first king and sha would have been the the the younger one Hashem would have allowed sha to kill David meaning he didn't didn't allow David to kill sha even though David could have killed sha still it didn't happen it wasn't the will of hem had it been the opposite it would have sha was such a righteous person he would have actually allowed him to allowed sha to kill David now this is again not to compete with with who's more righteous David or sha we have no concept of righteousness is when it comes to to these sikim but the point being is that sha had a as righteous as he was uh was a fallible just like all of mankind are but that's the reason why we rely on a who's Miraculous Creation of helping of allowing us to do Chua good question uh is asking someone asked me to ask how long should one spend on one musar SE uh that all depends on how much they read per day and how much they can meaning that uh if they're a very slow reader then it's more time if they're a fast reader then it's less time the key is to read it understand it and apply as much of it as they possibly can so sometimes you have people will go through a entire M SE in uh you know in a month or two sometimes in less sometimes in a lot more it all depends how much they read how much uh other things they study how much to they study there's no rule of thumb it all depends on the person next person thank you for doing the work that you do uh my question is how can we better teach our small children the ways of hasem what books can we as parents read that will teach us how to teach them especially now that they are uh young ages 10 uh Z to 10 years old and growing the greatest way to teach young kids uh tah and the ways of hasem is through the uh Torah books that are catered For Children uh there are many many Torah books that are cat for children there is a uh um the stories of theim there is entire collections of small booklets that each one of the booklets has stories of different righteous people uh there's for example one that's already probably 40 50 years old called M and it's a collection of 120 small little books each one is about a different sadik there's also one of I'll show you that I just got for my kids there's all collection of them uh this is another one this is a uh it's called The Eternal Light there is 80 in this collection and for example this one is about the bmov it's number six there is about you know Benish about the all the these stories you know they have pictures in them and they have a you know obviously good uh writing in them the point being is these stories about the sikim personify the Torah for these kids give them a visual of what these what this tah looks like in real life but also gives them somebody to look up to if the only people that they have to look up to are baseball players football players and all types of other filthy people uh then guess what that's who they're going to want to be but if you give them non-stop stories uh about righteous people that actually lived real righteous people that lived the bmov the balat the uh the uh R the closenberg rebi the Raba minoli uh RAB AKA eiga Ben RAB AKA Zak all of these great people that live throughout the generations guess what you're going to have a endless supply of Heroes for your children and guess what usually they'll pick somebody that they like more than others but there's no end to the amount of stories but you have to make it in such a way you have to give it them in such a way where they have to see something not just hear the stories so there are many many books out there and collections of books that have the stories with the pictures stories with the pictures this helps a child remember these things there are also uh uh different audios and videos of these stories the greatest thing in the world for a family to have in their house is as many stories about theim as they could possibly consume how much can they consume endless supply literally anytime my family provides for us anytime I have an opportunity I see more collections of books of of about that we don't have immediately I buy it it's it's like it's like a uh air we need more oh this one yeah but we're still working on that one doesn't make a difference get that one this one as many as we possibly can because they're all beautiful they're all amazing they uh some of uh the greatest gifts that we ever got is when somebody would give me a a bio about one of the tadik but especially the ones that the children's versions because those are not just for me they're also for the rest of the family and his beautiful pictures and his beautiful stories one of the my favorite books that I've read in recent history in my life is what I'm reading right now about the uh that was gifted To Us by our friends uh uh about the the re the clbi but kid version now I've read his bio and I've read some of the things that he's written but the stories that are in this particular bio most of them are not in the in the uh in the uh in this bio that's just for adults and the stories are rivet they're just unbelievable and it's just the pictures give it a different meaning and I'm telling these stories to my kids and I'm getting and they're getting and it's the greatest thing in the world I you know we think about like I want to I want to be his T I want to be I want to be his so when you see that then after you finish that you go you know you have the babaali and then you have the uh uh you know Ben or then you have that one and each one you have new Heroes newad and you also learn how they behaved from those stories you learn how to behave you learn how to be because they're not telling you stories of he woke up he went to the store he uh went to the mid he learned he went to sleep no they tell you different things that happened in their life different exceptional things that happened in their life how they behaved when there was sickness when there was trouble when there was death when there was uh uh tests when there was uh pograms inquisitions uh that series with M uh that was I found out about it from rabim we actually had it specially delivered from Israel to here it has there's a Hebrew version and there's an English version we bought both and uh because each one even though it's the same exact stories you want to sometimes teach both but the point is is that we bought them we found out later on that you could actually find you could buy them in America but the point is is that we got them and this was like literally like we just got Torah for Mount sa and we had a whole system for our kids each time we read another one we get another one and another one and when you finish the whole set you finish the whole thing we called it baby Shas you finish this whole baby Shaz there's a party just like the adults do a you do a big party we do a party for our kids because you finish this collection you deserve there's a party for you or there's sometimes a smaller collection where you have let's say the commentary uh for children about the Torah itself there are many many different types that we have and we try to literally buy more of them if it's good if it's good quality if it's by and uh we we get it and we have multiple and you see each one of them have different different pictures different things the kids to learn and each time we complete a book it's a uh it's a special day but each time we complete the series if a series is five books or the series is 50 books we have a party we have a party sometimes we'll uh we'll have a party for the kids in the house sometimes we'll uh uh invite the little animals to play with all types of things why to encourage the kids to want to learn more Torah and not want to go play game boy and PlayStation and all types of things and guess what you end up learning from it teaching from it getting stronger from it strengthening from it and also creating Kusa creating Kusa the primary reason more than anything else that's driving me to make this trip to is is not just the the Holiness of the for myself and and to be part of it it's not that the primary reason is because I want my kids to see this that's the primary reason to bring my kids to go see so manyik so much Torah being completed in one day to be part of such a Monumental event that is a positive trauma that you can give a child unlike any other where that kid is going to come he's going to see the do the big rabbis their people that they know people that they don't know their ABA their cousin they're this they're that say I want to be that I want to do that that's like in my stories I want to do that and they're going to want to learn T and they're going to want learn to and guess what they're learning and the parents is learning and the parents are learning and the kids are learning and it keep going they keep going you keep learning more and more stories the greatest thing that you can give yourself and and full your house whoop is is not just books but to read them read them with the kids don't just say hey go read no read it together with them and uh and and uh and celebrate it make it a big deal every time you complete a book the greatest thing that I learned from as far as doing the uh uh the parties is every time either their you know I uh or they or or or their IMA complete a book that's it we have a little party we have a little party We'll order food or we'll uh I don't know have a my my wife will make special meal or I'll make a barbecue or we'll do something special why completed something you completed another book you completed another series you completed more T you got closer to Hashem and guess what we could do again if we have something else we do something else if we don't have something else we'll read this whole thing again all over again and guess what the next time it's even better it's even better and that's how you build a house of kadus you build a house of kadus everybody wants to be with more T now of course they still have to play you can't just you can't just turn them into R AA overnight they still want to play they still want to hang off their chandeliers they still want to cause noise they still want to break stuff they still want to do they still want to be kids but you designate a certain amount of time per day to learn with them about the to learn about to learn about hem to learn all of these different things and of course there are also great books that I've recommended in the past they that that were written by really serious whether it's the uh the pirate series that was uh that was also the artist behind it was G palak he has many books that each one of them is better than the next uh with the uh whether it's the Pirates ones that teach about character treats about midot based on the or it's the uh the uh different other books that he's been a part of or there are other books that teach mid do there are endless supply that you can get on arull or feldheim or or other book uh Publishers and and sellers out there that you can get a lot of books that teach about character traits and about sadim and about the Torah itself and my suggestion is to get all of it meaning it can't just be about the Torah it can't just be about the prophets it can't just be about sikim and it can't just be about morals and ethics it has to be a little bit of everything now of course everything has its time but the key is when you invest in that type of Torah for your kids that's it you're you're not only fulfilling the Mitzvah you yourself are growing as a result of it you end up you end up learning more you end up appreciating more you end up reading things that you wouldn't read on your own and even more than anything anything else you end up falling in love with your kids even more why because you're investing more time into them many times parents invest in their kids in in material where okay I'm going to spend time with kids I'm going to take them to Disneyland the place of of LGBT oh I'm going entertain my kids I'll take them to some pool or I'm GNA take them to I don't know some type of uh Zoo yes that's good too from time to time with the exception of Disneyland cuz I don't think anybody should ever go there again but you know taking them to a place here and there is fine too but many times people look to take their kids to a place so they could get rid of their kids meaning take their attention away so okay I'm going to take him to a park so the kids will be busy with the park so I could go back to playing with my phone or I can go back to having a conversation with somebody else and yes although that is necessary at times if that's all you do with your kids simply give them off to somebody else to do it then it was better off somebody else had the kids and not you so you have to invest some time into your kids read a story to them sit with them five minutes 10 minutes sometimes more sometimes less sometimes it's an hour but you have to do it and I can tell you listen I don't know how I don't know anybody else that is uh that is uh as busy as as I am I'm sure there are other people that work very hard I'm up 20 21 hours a day I'm relatively busy the whole day learning this that the other thing but still I have the mercy of having a as my wife and she told me you know bedtime story bedtime story before they go to sleep no matter what happened to the during the day no matter how busy I am I have to go there I sit there with them I give them a ptime story it's always about a different sadik and that way we've completed many stories together of course that my sadika wife reads to them a lot more and teaches them a lot more than I can because she's with them all day and we homeschool our kids so there's a lot more that she's able to be a part of but you know what even if I only get that five minutes that 10 minutes of the day of telling that story I'm still part of their life I'm still connected and guess what they still know that they have an ABA sometimes I get a little bit more time than that but the key is that I see the results as a result of building this house the way we did and the way did and the way other people that I know did when you build a house this way with Tor as the primary focus of the house and you're involved and you're contributing to it as a parent as a brother as a sister as a child everybody's contributing to it what ends up happening is that you have literally like gun Eden in your house despite the troubles despite the electric going out despite the air conditioner breaking despite uh uh lacking this and lacking that and having this and having that you have a place that's that's literally a happy place a place of of of just simply like it's just it's the greatest thing in the world but when you don't and I I've seen a lot more houses that don't have this what do you have nothing when you don't you have nothing you have a house where everybody's for their own like survival of the F you know everybody goes on their own as soon as if they have dinner together at all as soon as dinner is over everybody runs to their corner he goes to her his friend she goes to her girlfriend he goes to his girlfriend he goes to the TV he she goes to the movie everybody goes somewhere else and uh we'll see each other next week and that's when most houses alike and it's a sad thing and anytime there's issues everybody breaks up anytime there's a problem everybody breaks up it's like literally people are looking for excuses to get away from each other one of the worst things in the world that I have to deal with at times is when people ask me why their spouse is upset that they want to go on vacation with their friends and not with their spouse unfortunately I've gotten this question multiple times and I try to explain to people things that they should have already known but this is reality is they created this themselves where when you live a life that's with you live an independent life that's roommating with other people so what ends up happening is that all the problems are with those people in the house and the fun you want with other people so that's the thing it's it's when there's no Tora there's no happiness there's no nothing so that's why they want to have the fun part with people they don't have problems with so they want to go on vacation with somebody else and this is a very very sad situation and it happens and unfortunately it's a uh with without T it's a terminal case but nonetheless when you have t that you add to your life no matter when you add to your life it's going to add good of course the earlier you add it the the the the more benefit you'll have but I've seen many many houses where literally it's almost like the places like uh either haunted house or it's like just simply cursed fighting they have problems they have uh uh animosity they have don't want to talk to each other they have uh all types of issues they have happiness they don't even know what that is Unity what are you talking about maybe on TV yeah we're United when we're all watching the show together oh so when you're all zoned out zoned out like you're on crack CU you're watching some show together that's when you consider your together when you're all simply looking at the same screen together that's what you consider your your together time it's a sad life but that's the majority of people oh yeah no I watch Netflix with my family if one of them left in the middle of the show would you even notice if one of them left in the middle of the movie would you even notice what what you share nothing you're all zoned out you're all cracked out watching some show doing nothing you don't share anything it's a sad reality but that's the world and guess what that's the life I live for most of my life so I'm very familiar with it and that's the life that I see many people live but when you have a house full of K full of Tor you have all these stories all these things that we learn together all these pictures we see together we sit down you know it's amazing it's amazing and yes of course there's going to be times you're going to be tested and the kid doesn't want to hear it and the kid uh is climbing on your head and he want of course you going to have those things but guess what even that is part of the fun so my suggestion is everything I just said until now do it the best you possibly can the the people that I've told us to in the past that have done it certainly have have built a home unlike any other uh the people that don't do it uh simply live like everybody else which is an excuse life but nonetheless it's they're still alive so they can maybe turn it around who was the rabbi that knew his Gil from the fight of korak excuse me who was the rabbi the newest Gil from the fight of korak I'm not even understanding the question if you're talking about theal the says that kak reincarnated into multiple things and I have uh eventually becoming yeshu uh becoming Jesus of Nazareth uh and he came uh he came uh from uh the uh um uh can and Abel if that's what you're talking about I have multiple shim about this topic just uh go on my channel of the app and just uh write the word uh Yeshua uh then you'll see that there's a few lectures they're talking about that particular subject as far as Reincarnation of K before and after but if you is saying something else that I'm sorry I don't know what you mean uh next uh can an orthodox Jew marri to a convert reform get divorced based on this alone if a Orthodox Jew married a person that converted through reform that means that they married a they married a njw and there is no divorce that's necessary as far as the Ala is concerned because they would never marri to begin with uh a Jew a could only marry a Jew any other relationship is not a a marriage it's just simply uh lust it's simply immorality uh so they were simply immoral with a non-jew that thinks they became a Jew by converting reform but in reality they married a go they married a Goya uh and there was no marriage whatsoever legally they may have a marriage uh so they have to deal with the government with that but as far as Al as far as Torah there was no marriage uh so there is no get that's required and there's no reason that's required they could simply leave tomorrow or now actually better how does someone do you for missing prayers it depends why they miss the prayers if let's say for example it was beyond their ability for whatever reason they were stuck in traffic they uh uh sickness or something like that that that's why they miss the morning prayer then they can make up for it during the afternoon prayer prayer during a Prayer by doing amid twice amid twice but if they missed prayer just because of nothing that's beyond their ability but really it's it was within their ability they just were either lazy or careless then they can't make up for it they can simply say I'm sorry to hasem give someaka uh and learn some more Torah and especially learn about the AL of prayer and uh and uh try to dedicate more uh time attention to doing it next I love the new series kosher intimacy very insightful I was wondering if what if you can tackle things like flirting with your wife all day knowing she is going to the mik that night to make things uh fresh yeah all of those questions in regards to the intimacy and so on we're going to uh allow for that series to uh deal with that and much much more uh it's a important to know that when it comes to the issues of intimacy uh there is a lot more than just a simple minimum required and it again as I said in the uh in the lecture last night the to get to a higher level you have to be willing to do more uh now if a person wants to just do the minimum requirement then they can continue remaining a beast that they are and uh that's fine uh but it's not fine as far as the results from it if somebody wants to be successful they have have to put in more effort whether they want to be successful in marriage successful in Parenthood successful in business successful in tah they have to be willing to put more effort if a person is not willing to put more effort they've already failed before they started so a person needs to know that in order to reach a level of Holiness in marriage does require more effort everywhere whether it's the relationship outside of the bedroom or the relationship inside the bedroom and when I mean effort I don't mean they need to work out and be able to uh uh to move their body in strange ways and uh contain themselves for an hour and a half straight like they just came out of some uh filthy movie no I mean effort that requires other other uh other things uh but again this this too does uh there's a time and a place we'll discuss it next week in this next one of my relativ lent money to a Jew in the community to build up his business in the year 2006 uh he claimed bankruptcy and never paid him back this guy has money and other businesses it's a substantial amount of money they never signed an agreement but he did a uh should he take him to aedine and go through all of the stress or should he consider all of this from hasem and he certainly for for money unless he can forgive him completely and uh and not have it on his mind uh and and know for sure that it's from hasem and and think that that he's at that level uh then he should take him to a bed and quite frankly the vast majority of people and even if if this is even an issue of question that means that he's certainly not at that level which is perfectly fine the vast majority of the world is not at that level uh he should take him to uh because when uh when um said that uh uh he wanted to take somebody to bedin one time and he asked his R and the r says but you know it's from Hashem why you even bother taking to the bed he said yeah but we have entire tractates in the all entire sections in the Tora to discuss you know differences in businesses and going to the bed he says yeah that's for people that don't have high level of for the regular people yeah they have to go to bed but if a person has a high level of and and understands it's Rel from not they don't need to go to the point being is that uh he was getting rebuked at that time uh his Rabbi was questioning his level of but of course you're allowed to go to AED that's why we have them and unless a person can truly truly get themselves to the point where they don't even think about it they they they it's removed from their heart they certainly need to go to a bed de and quite frankly uh I think that if this is an issue that you're asking about certainly he has spoken about it he feels feels it and he is a normal person that should go to the bed he should go to the bed uh because if he thinks he's at the level not to require the bed and he's really not at that level uh and he's going to feel bad about it and that person let's say for example dies before he pays him back you've destroyed this person because that person has to be reincarnated and you will have to that person that lent the money and the person that uh uh borrowed the money both have to be reincarnated to to settle the debt so the best thing to do is to go to a bed get that's final whatever whatever the de is that's theah I heard a Jewish couple in my community got married on Shabbat not possible this is a reformed people or uh I don't know atheists uh because the marriage is a Kyan you buy somebody can't buy in Shabbat uh the OT oh the o of not being like K apply equally to noahides or is it just to severe with uh well to not be like kak and not be heric certainly is a for it's one of the 613 uh and certainly it's forbidden for a Noah to be a heretic I wouldn't say it's necessarily a o for the uh uh for the noahides but it certainly is an obligation for noahide he's not to be a uh a heretic or Ida worshiper it's one of their seven noahide laws it preceded the uh question my husband invited his friend and his wife uh over for Shabbat and I don't know them is it an a to tell my husband to pray at home so can invite them before Shabbat so that they don't drive on Shabbat I don't know them is to pray at home so he invite so you no if you think that they'll drive on Shabbat as a result of coming to your house it's better not to invite them all together but uh if uh if him praying at home is going to lower the sins that they make then certainly it's better that uh that your husband will stay no it's not a sin at all no it's it's holding somebody away from sinning is certainly greater than uh uh going to pray uh with minan I mean it's so much so that if let's say a person knew that another person uh was going to dip in the filthy impure Waters of Christians and convert to Christianity you're allowed to drive on Shabbat in order to remove them from that you know if you know that somebody's going to get baptized on Shabbat you're owed to violate Shabbat drive on Shabbat and do anything you possibly need to on Shabbat to go and get them out of that situation it's considered so your husband's friend that may violate Shabbat for no reason it's uh it's not it's not very different it's certainly uh your husband doesn't need to violate Shabbat uh so for him just simply not to uh go pray with aan in order to help another Jew not violate Shabbat time is certainly worthwhile where can one learn about the disputations of the ramban how can we learn from if became no you mean somebody else so as far as the the disputations there is something called the writings of the ramban uh they actually we have translated it to English and uh they sell it online it's two volumes of pink books and in the uh in the writings of the ramban the part of it is the dispute in Barcelona they had the whole thing that happened there alongside many many other writings which also include the teachings about Gom sh is also in there also the write up that the ran has thean and also the write up that he had for which is full of M so it's called the writings of the ran I have it over here somewhere yeah it's fantastic folks yeah it's two uh it's two volumes like this they look at these pink books um and uh they did a fair very good job in uh in the um translation they also have some commentary on the bottom a little bit or sources uh and uh I believe you can get this pretty much in most uh General websites of for Jewish books whether it's farim Center uh or uh I think you could even get it on feldheim uh but uh and there's plenty others but you get the writings of the ramban uh but it's two volumes two books like this the other ones over there but it has a lot of really really good stuff um as far far as uh the rabbi that you're talking about is not Elish he became a we the Mish that he's mentioned in he was the rabbi of Raba before he went off the or one of the rabbis of not R I'm sorry before he went off the but the Mish that is taught in his name in is a mishna that he said before he went off the and the reason why some say it's perfectly fine to to learn it uh and others say that it's a mish that other taught anyway so it doesn't uh it doesn't matter uh can I still give a present to a newly wet couple even though they are having a mixed dancing wedding uh thanks for your teaching my family will not be attending oh you're not attending uh can you give them a present uh yeah one thing has nothing to do with the other it's better you give them the present after the event not before the event if you're going to give them let's say I don't know if you're going to give them a blender or something then you can give that before the event but if you're going to give them money then give the money after the event so they don't use your money to pay for the wedding uh family member likes to forage edible plants from local parks you mean pick plants from local parks yeah if if the park uh if the park would forbids it then certainly it's stealing if the park says you can take whatever you want take the entire Garden to your house and plant it there we'll be happy to plant a new Garden then obviously it's no problem I'm not really sure that such Gardens exist uh so certainly it's not something that the park wants if you don't want someone to do it to you don't do it to others asking is chicken together with egg permitted or not permitted to be together uh it's perfectly permitted to be together what we're not allowed to eat is dairy and meat or dairy and poultry together uh that we're not allowed to eat together or uh fish and meat together we're not allowed to eat when a person eats a dairy they uh and then they want to eat something else if they're G to eat uh fish they could actually eat fish and dairy together if they're going to eat uh they want to eat dairy and then they want to eat uh uh meat or chicken they have to wash their mouth after they eat dairy and then they can eat the the uh the chicken or the meat uh in a different plate right after they don't have to wait any amount of time but if they're eating uh the meat or the chicken uh uh first then they have to wait six hours until they eat dairy they can't eat them together and they can't eat them shortly after they have to wait six hours now things that are not dairy and also are not meat they're called parve uh parve meaning it's neutral it's not meat it's not dairy and one of the most common things that's parve is eggs eggs are considered parve uh and uh and this is something that you're allowed to eat with anything you're allowed to eat it with meat you're allowed to eat eat it with chicken you're allowed to eat it with fish you're allowed to eat it with cheese you're allowed to eat it with whatever you want I don't really know many people that eat it together with fish but I guess some people do but uh either way you're allowed to eat it with whatever you want uh because considered parve it's not meat or dairy uh the uh there and there's obviously other things such as vegetables they're also considered parve um and typically if if it's packaged products typically and it's kosher then it typically has on the package a uh uh the word parve on it or it just says the uh K or the U uh if it's Dairy then it usually has the uh the the the kosher symbol with a d next to it that means it's dairy uh and meat is meat uh meat typically doesn't have a kosher stamp on it because you buy it from a butcher and it's a kosher butcher uh but when it does it usually has a kosher with a uh uh uh on it and it usually say glut uh on it uh typically it does but not always uh but either way you know it's meat when it's a uh um when it's a non-packaged product or a natural product such as eggs or vegetables or things like that that's just something you need to know from uh from I guess reading that these are parv and these are you're allowed to eat them with whatever you want vegetables uh um fruits uh things that bread uh eggs these are all considered parf uh one thing I recommend is to uh is to get a book that discusses uh kosher uh based on Orthodox judism and also a book that discusses uh the uh um the blessings there's actually a really good book if you need in English uh it's called Uh something El something let see is a very good book with theot is spelled with a h and uh this is a very good book because it has pictures of different foods and it tells you what the blessings are of each food before you eat it uh and then after you eat it and then it also has very good writeups in the end explaining certain things uh that uh that you'll need to know but this is very good for learn to learn blessings and and kosher certainly there are many many other books that you can get on Art scroll or feldheim orim Center or other uh Orthodox Jewish books uh stores uh and uh that will teach you uh how to observe kosher like a kosher kitchen book book or something like that and also you can tune in to the class by our own dear Rabbi L LA who is uh giving a class uh four times a week uh it's all online and one of those classes is a kosher kitchen I believe he has some online already uh it's on our YouTube channel and you could uh uh you know learn a little bit about Kash through that he goes through all the different Al and so on we're almost done we're already okay here we go um thing keeps jumping okay I read okay Moshe is asking I read from the son of the ramban that one should seek okay that one should seek a rabbi who has a comp personality and who is likened to an angel in his mid is this requirement for a student to find such a rabbi in a in a in a level or a suggestion uh and are the rabbis obligated to reach a state of calmness and resembling to the resembling an angel so what they're saying there is the teachings from the page 17b if you're Rabbi is like an angel learn from him if he's not don't now what that means is not uh literally like the uh uh English translation but rather if if your Rabbi is trying to serve hem like an angel he's doing his best to serve hem he has he's working on his mid he's working on his t on and so on and he speaks the truth then go and learn from him and you'll you'll do well but if he has bad character traits such as he curses and he uh and he uh I don't know he uh yells at people for no reason and he's a stingy person and he's dishonest and he distorts the tah even if he's a charismatic speaker and he's calm you're still not allowed to learn from him uh I also tell tell people if you know they ask me sometimes oh can I learn from such and such raban or such and such woman and uh you know and they say oh can you watch the video I don't have time to watch anybody's video the rule of thumb is this if this woman is not modest you're not allowed to learn from her simple if she's modest then maybe she qualifies to be learned from depending on what she's what she's teaching and how she's teaching it if it's her own unique ideas it's better to learn from rabbis than rabot most of the time uh but if she's not modest I don't even care if she's reading you the Ben word for word you still can't learn from her same thing with people you know there are some people out there they want to teach they want to teach bre they want to teach this they want to teach uh all types of teachings but they themselves are not modest they themselves are are not uh following what the Torah says you can't learn from people like that so the key is to learn from people that are sticking to the Torah themselves that are in essence trying to emulate the angels as being the the best servants they possibly can be uh and if uh if a person learns from somebody like that then they'll do well but many times people learn uh from People based on their Charisma or based on their uh uh their ability to speak uh or their storytelling abil this is not a reason to learn from somebody and that's in essence what the the uh the son of the ran is trying to say and we actually discussed this more extensively in the series which is the letter from the ran to his son next are we allowed to sue for medical malpractice if the hospital is a Jewish hospital uh yes because even if it's a Jewish hospital typically it's owned by shareholders uh that are not necessarily always uh Jewish and either way you if it's let's say only owned by Jewish people then you can take him to a bedine take him to a bedine if they do not want to go to the bedine then the bedine will give you a permission to go to a uh regular Court uh and uh and you go to regular Court sure uh last question I'm not into cabala or anything but I've heard some people say that it isn't recommended to make life-changing decis decisions during the month of tamuz uh this is what they're referring to is during the three weeks during the three weeks not the entire month of tamuz during the three weeks that lead to and it's not necessarily saying life-changing decisions altoe it depends on the changes if the changes that the person is about to make are uh you know positive things that are going to help him serve AEM or help her serve AEM better such as praying more learning more Tor doing more MIT giving more certainly there's uh every day is the best day and now is the best day to uh to do it but if it's let's say for example traveling uh you know let's say to go on a vacation during the three weeks that's not the ideal time getting married that's not the ideal time to do it uh to uh you know do things that you don't have to do during that time you know to pray more to learn more to do more mitv that you have to do every day but the things that are extras uh that you don't have to do every day then uh you shouldn't uh do during that time but it doesn't say you're not allowed to because sometimes uh you know that thing that you could do another time it's better you do it now meaning traveling it's if you're going to travel for a vacation it's better not to do it during the three weeks but if you're traveling for the sake of a such as you're traveling to for the sake of going to a Torah event to go learn Torah to go teach Torah to go be part of Torah learning then certainly that Mitzvah will protect you from whatever uh uh negativity is during that time in the world but uh if it's just simply to go sightseeing then certainly it's better off to delay it or do it earlier uh if it's same thing with with with other things but again it's not prohibition it is a uh uh you know it's better to not do certain things also you know uh uh going to the ocean you know things like that there are certain things that are not necessary during that time but again it's not outright prohibitions Okay I uh really appreciate you guys learning with me we went on for longer than usual today but family uh uh the the Fantastic questions and I believe we went through all of the questions uh that uh that people have anyone that uh has uh uh the interest to uh sponsor the Raffles uh sponsor the USBs uh or buy a raffle which in essence is the same thing go to tun ab. live tuna. live and you'll be able to sponsor the USBs over there if you just want to buy the USBs for yourself you
