LAST CHANCE: Praying For Miracles on Hanukkah

okay generally speaking uh teaches that you're not allowed to pray for miracles meaning you can't ask Hashem uh Hashem uh make me uh 10 in taller Hashem uh make me uh you know completely change my body and I look like somebody else uh Hashem uh you know give me a 100 billion dollars in two minutes from now no such thing can't pray for stuff like that that is uh disrespecting the uh prayer disrespecting the king it's it's it's it's not a good thing to do but praying to Hashem you're always allowed to pray and we have to pray every single day there's a commandment from the Tora that every Jew has to pray each and every single day uh at least once is a Torah obligation and the sages instituted three prayers per day instead of only once either way prayer for miracles is not something that is taught because we're taught you're not supposed to do it because you should be more realistic ask hasem to help you but not make miracles for you except today and tomorrow why the in brings a proof from the Torah obligation of of the blessings from from a Tor which is B which is the only blessing that actually has a verse from the Tora for it that if someone were to Miss saying the uh additional blessing of kanuka uh during Bon but they didn't finish the blessing they would simply say a verse that says bless hem for uh for making us Miracles and from there theama brings a proof that during kanuka specifically right now these next 24 48 Hours okay is a time where you you are allowed to pray for a miracle you're allowed to pray for a miracle why because this is an auspicious time throughout all of history that a gave us Miracles and praying for a miracle is something you can do it this time so think about what you really need in life for life not for making SS think about it pray about it and will fulfill it and we'll learn again next [Music] week
