in fact many times you hear this in sh or different events where there's a lot of people that talk about their life in the past of how they used to go to Vegas and how they used to go to parties and how they used to do this and they used to that oh remember went we met those girls and we met those guys and we bought that car and we did this and they talk about their past and reminisce about all of their sins with excitement but then they go you know and they say wait you just talked about how you are the leader of Gom you were the leader of Sodom and gomorah with more excitement than than him and help anybody else uh learn more learn moreos so with that being said we have our hands full uh with this uh sh because there's just simply so much to cover will succeed in covering all of it and uh giving it to you guys in a certain way that is going to uh penetrate your hearts because is something that begins the story of is it also Begins the story of anti-Semitism and the beginning of parot we meet that's a different than the par we've met until now because this par has conveniently forgotten who YF is and ultimately this leads to's demise today today there are many followers of par that are actually Among Us that are actually Jewish or people that want to be Jews but they're actually followers of Paro but they're not doing it in a way where they're actually aware that they're following instead of following y or following mosenu they're acting as if everything is good and in fact this type of behavior leads to an enormous amount of suffering and what makes these people that follow the biggest losers hence the name of the Shu who are the biggest losers in the world is that they believe that they're doing good since they keep mitv so we're not going to be talking about a people that are Heretics and don't believe in God at all or like pared or people that are completely secular and drive on Shabbat no no this we already covered in other lectures we're talking about people that actually keep mitv and even listen to musar but are yet the biggest losers in the world how could they be losers is aren't those things that I just mentioned keys to success this and much more along with your questions is what we're going to cover tonight now begins where does not know and in page 11a tells us that there's a debate was it really a new par that was different than the par that benefited and uh made YF the visoy in Ence the leader of of all of Egypt allowed him to save the entire world Egypt included and then build Egypt to be the Empire biggest empire in history or is it a different P they really didn't know your the mid in the fifth Sim says based on the that the Tora says that he did not know y that there was a new who did not know YF how could this be I mean technically he was the leader right before you in fact the whole thing doesn't make sense how could you not know par how could you not know your if he Not only was the leader before you but actually he's the reason why there's even a kinghood in Egypt that is on top of the world at the time this par that did not know YF decided to make am is the enemies make them the enemies because he saw that they're prospering they're growing they're building buildings they're becoming successful in real estate they have hedge funds they have uh all types of entrepreneurs in the community they're doing good he says this this is unbearable I have to put a stop to this what if they become more successful stronger than us and join our enemies well why would they do that they are the biggest Patriots of of of Egypt they built the land they made it Prosper they only brought good until now why would you think like that that they would actually become enemies this shows you how anti-Semitism is not something that you can stop with uh protests and all types of uh public statements anti-Semitism is a sword of God that he brings into the world in order to rebuke his children anti-Semitism does not make any sense because it happens in the places that the Jews benefit the place the most whether it be Germany or Spain turkey uh in different parts of the Middle East any other place that we got kicked out of before we got kicked out of you saw how the Jews brought enormous blessings to the land and when they were kicked out murdered raped and all the horrible things that happened to them in the process you saw that those lands never recovered but here par is saying they're benefiting too much let's make them let's fool them into becoming slaves let's make them build us these build up these cities that we have so they could build us storage what's the storage for to put all of the gold that ysf got us in those storage meaning that ysf got them so much gold they had to build new infrastructure just to store the gold that's what the ne says and on one end you see that the anti-Semitism doesn't make sense they they just simply the rationale behind the anti-Semitism doesn't make sense but worse than it all is the fact that it says that did not remember yourself I mean you're asking the Jews to build you storage houses for the gold that ysf gathered so obviously you know who ysf is you're also the king that's right after your so obviously you know your so whether it's a new par that was just put into power or it's the same par that just decided to cancel the decrees of yourf that gave par a 20% tax and he wanted even more whatever it is either way you knew yourself so how you saying that it doesn't he doesn't know yourself says the listen to this listen to this the mid says when it says that did not know this is to teach us that as it it's written anyone that that shows ungratefulness anyone that's a anyone that is shows ungratefulness to his fellow will ultimately be a K in hem just like we saw with par that started with saying he doesn't know yourself and ultimately in chapter 5 in the book of schot verse number two the very same par says say who is AEM that I should listen to his voice I don't know AEM you started with being ungrateful to the one that empowered you to the one that saved your life to the one that put you where you are and ultimately that lack of gratitude that ungratefulness that fear of led to PO saying he doesn't even recognize Hashem therefore this shows that whether was new or the same one he had to know who YF is because YF is the reason behind why he's doing what he's doing and in fact to confirm this the prophet in chapter 29 verse number three speaks in the name of Hashem and says thus says the Lord hasem behold I am against you parau king of Egypt the Great Serpent that crouches within its rivers who has said mine is my river and I have made myself hundreds and hundreds of years after par is unveiling something that's not in the five books of Moses literally but obviously is in the oral Torah what was the primary cause behind par after getting a blessing from yov ainu if you guys remember when yov ainu came to Egypt and met par for the first time time he gave him a blessing and to everyone's astonishment every time that par went to the Nile river which was one of the idols of Egypt the Nile River bowed to par and then watered all of the fields so par would have to go to the Nile River every day in order to water all the fields but this success got to his head and he decided to deify himself he decided to tell people that he is God and said mine is the river meaning the Nile River I'm even bigger than this Idol because I have made myself so now this PO has to play the part so he tells people I don't go to the bathroom and he would go to the Nile River at a time where nobody else is allowed to go but the reality is he would water the he would water the Nile with all of his bodily filth while no one was looking now why did he do all this because as we said a God to his head gav arrogance and arrogance is one of the ultimate reasons why aad decided that when he was going to destroy Egypt he had to bring shame upon all of the idols in including who made himself into an idol because this very same G this very same ungratefulness ungratefulness to yov ungratefulness to yadik and needless to say ungratefulness and complete heresy to Hashem this Gava led to the ungratefulness that would lead to the demise of par and the rest of Egypt but the sages teach us that this G this arrogance that leads to ungratefulness and a it doesn't just unlead to gratefulness for par but anyone that follows in his footsteps where they have so much arrogance so much ego that they'll even pretend to be humble but if you ask them why didn't you say thank you to this person that helped you to your wife to your kids to your husband to your co-workers to your boss no no they know they know and the sages teach us that ungratefulness comes from arrogance and that ungratefulness in a in a fellow is because each time time he saw his fellow that helped him it reminds the person of his own helplessness of his own deficiency at the time he needed help when he had no money and he needed to borrow money and that friend helped him and now he built himself back up but now every time he sees that friend even though he already paid him back even though he already has grown years have passed still every time he sees his face he's reminded yeah he's the guy that was there when I was a loser when I was with nothing when I was helpless when I was deficient and his arrogance does not allow him to have gratitude because he wants to feel like he's a big shot he wants to feel like he is number one and always was number one and every time he sees this person it reminds him that he wasn't really always number one in fact he used to be the biggest loser in town in fact he was so deep into the filth that it was impossible for him to ever see himself get out of it she was in such a filthy situation people literally would stay away from her and keep their kids away from her because she was just so disgusting now she looks like a she does she arranges she does but now when she sees the people that helped her N I can't stand them why they helped you no no no really inside because they remind her because they remind her that she used to be a loser that she used to be deficient and she cannot bring herself to say thank you she cannot bring herself to have grat gratitude why G the reality is when it comes to it's very easy to analyze it from our perspective because without YF Egypt would have died the world would have died and therefore remembering yourself reminds the Arrogant par of his own deficiencies of Egypt's deficiencies of their zeron he doesn't want to be reminded that why because he just told people he's God he just told people he was always this way he made himself and unfortunately this type of behavior is most relevant in our Jewish communities where people that have fallen have gone to the world of secularism have gone to the insanity of the world and then one day through the help of a rabbi that guided them that nourished them that taught them Torah that taught them the truth they did chuva they started changing their life all of a sudden they put on toil in all of a sudden she's wearing clothes that actually cover her body all of a sudden they're praying to hasem every day all of a sudden before they eat like an animal they make a blessing they got help but those people that have done chv and started doing MIT after getting the help of the rabbi have not yet fixed their midot specifically the mid of gav the character trait of arrogance and what ends up happening is a few years past three four five six years past they've done chuva they're no longer their past self but every time they see that Rabbi whether it's online or in person they can't stand it all of a sudden they develop a hatred for that Rabbi why he helped you he's the reason why you found your wife your husband he's the reason why you have kids right now he's the reason why you keep he's the reason why you say he's the reason why you even have a chance of going to heaven he's the reason why your family got back together he's the he's the one that did all he helped you he helped you he found you a taught you he uh gave you a job sometimes he uh gave you all of these different things he did why do you hate him no no I don't know something happened I don't know I don't know I don't know you know what what what happened as they do chuva they start becoming like because they think that doing chuva is just keeping MIT just reading some text and maybe listening to some without actually applying all of it to their life and therefore when it comes to talks about ego they don't even think it's relevant to them so they don't fix their ego and therefore their ego now makes that very same Rabbi that helped them an enemy in their mind in the past they viewed him as the Savior the mssiah their own personalized messenger but now they can't even bring themselves to say hello they turn their back on him they'll do everything for anybody else but not him why because each time they see that Rabbi they see that person that helped them when they were in the gutter both spiritually and sometimes otherwise they're reminded of that day they're reminded of their deficiencies they're reminded of their helplessness they're reminded of their zeron before they met that Rabbi before they transformed their life and they'll even give excuses no I would have done it anyway I was already watching I was already doing and you know my sister and my cousin and you know I was already kind of yeah okay the ego speaks for itself and as they see the rabbi grow and get more and more people to listen to him they become even more bitter because now there's other people to remind them so now they have to put a stop to this so they even go to the extent of telling other people not to listen to him yeah but didn't he help you yeah but it's not the same anymore and he change and that change what do you mean what are you talking about now I don't want to talk I don't want to say I don't want to say just don't listen I'm telling you I know what I'm talking about this is one of the things that anyone that's in the world of kiru has to deal with if they're successful at it it's not a one-time thing it's not a personal thing it's just simply a thing that it's part of the price you pay to save n and what it ends up PE happening with these arrogant B that sometimes grew up from but really were like secular people that keep MIT is that they become more and more bitter because they Gava their arrogance doesn't allow them to admit that they were saved from the filth they want to forget that they were ever even in the filth they want to forget that the filth ever existed they want to imagine just like par they made thems one of the ways that you see that especially when you have a lot of experience is a thing where people that do chuva tell their stories and you could already tell from the way the person tells the story of their chuva whether they're really a b Chua or they're just a secular person that's doing MIT one of the ways is to see if they talk about their past with pride if they say listen I used to make money I used to promote clubs I used to go with girls I used to do this and you know today I did CH and I keep wait so the past was like really exciting when you said it and the present of you doing mitvah was like you know you settled you settle down like an old man like an old woman what does that show shows really that you're still connected to your past in fact you're more connected and excited about your past than you are to your present so we see that really when you were telling the story how pow you you did this thing bad and that thing bad but it was exciting and you met basketball players and you you you made this and you did this and you went there and you went there you were excited but then you settle down and you're like this like old grandmother now like you don't you won't sound so excited you're just saying this is yeah this is good to do shows that a person is connected to their past much more than they're connected to their present in fact many times you hear this in sh or different events where there's a lot of people that talk about their life in the past of how they used to go to Vegas and how they used to go to parties and how they used to do this and they used to that oh remember we went we met those girls and we met those guys and we bought that car and we did this and they talk about their past and reminisce about all of their sins with excitement but then they go you know and they say wait you just talked about how you are the leader of G you were the leader of Sodom and gomorah with more excitement than than passing decrees on am is how why why are you excited about why why is that even a good thing for you because a person could be sec killer but yet keep that's Paul now so we don't think for even a second that this is my mind we have to look at a mind that's much greater than I could ever be we go to the mind of the rambam now the rambam it's not a musar book it's an ala book meaning this is the law and in the R's in chapter two number two the rambam says what constitutes chuva that a sinner should abandon his sins and remove them from his thoughts resolving in his heart never to commit them again as the prophet Isaiah says in chapter 55:7 May the wicked abandon his ways similarly he must regret the past you can't show that you're proud of how you used to make all these sins you have to regret the past as the Prophet Jeremiah says in chapter 31: 18 after I returned I regretted and he must reach the level where he who knows the hidden matters can testify concerning him that he will never return to this sin again as the prophet OA in chapter 14:4 says we will no longer say to the work of our hands you are our gods and he must verbally confess and state these matters which he resolved in his heart so here the rambam gives us a recipe for chuva is to abandon the sin remove him from his thoughts from his mind never commit him again meaning at least make the decision not to do it if he falls does cha again he has to regret his past even get to a point where a the one who knows what's in your mind can testify for you that no no he's not planning on going back to that sin and even get to a point where he has to confess and say this to says the r next chapter 2 number three anyone who verbalizes his confession without resolving it in his heart to abandon the sin could be compared to a person person who immerses himself in a mikve while holding a carcass of a lizard in his hand the immersion is to no avail until he casts away the carcass in so many words the rambam is telling us that if a person says no no I'm never going to go back to the sin but really in his heart he's already planning a barbecue next Shabbat in his heart he's he's planning already to go back with that non-jewish girl not non-jewish man or whatever it is he's already planning on stealing in his business but he says to people no no I'm done with that that's my old life the ram says those words maybe your friends can believe it maybe your mother's going to believe it but who knows what's in your heart doesn't believe it and therefore you have not done chuva furthermore the rambam says among the paths of chuva for the penitent is to one constantly call out before Hashem crying and intreating two perform charity according to his potential meaning you must give some people literally they'll get a blessing that will actually work and all of a sudden they tell that they tell the rabbi listen Rabbi our has never been better my husband is making money now I'm making more money than I ever made before okay so what's the problem I don't know I'm having a hard time giving takaka I don't understand you have a lot more money now but you also don't give how does that add up someone who loves money will never have enough money the more Hashem blesses them the more they forget AEM and where it came from so person that is doing Chua but is stingy you have a deficiency in your chuva three he has to distance himself far from from the object of his sin you can't hang out with the same people same places and think that you're a b Chua four change his name as if to say I am a different person and not the same one who sinned this is not literally a obligation to change his name but meaning completely change if you obviously if you change your name to uh to a uh I don't know to uh to Mike instead of what your actual name is Mikel then call yourself Mikel have a Jewish name to change his behavior and its entirety to the good and the path of the righteous to travel in exile for his from his home meaning leave where you came from don't stay around the same neighborhood and the same people and then the rum buum brings up what we are preparing for a shocker of all shocks this is instructions to All by all people that are doing getting closer to hem the r says as follows number five chapter two in is praiseworthy for a person who repents to confess in public and to make his sins known to others meaning tell his chuva story tell her chuva story why did you abandon being a nightclub promoter dancer or whatever other sinful person and now you are this sadik orik why confess tell people revealing the transgressions that he committed against his fellow man he should tell them though I sinned against so and so committing the following misdeeds behold I repent and express my Reg reget so a person has to admit oh I stole from so and so I beat up so and so I did all of these things that hurt people why why does he have to do this because the shame from this will soften his ego will get rid of that Gava that he had while he was going against hem while he was going in the way of par he said no but I don't want to tell people that uh I used to drive on Shabbat no I don't want my kids to know that uh I used to uh be married to a non-jew or I don't want my uh wife and I don't want my this and I don't want the community and I don't want I don't want to talk about it okay well guess what says the rambam anyone who out of Pride conceals his sins and does not reveal them well will not achieve a complete chuva ASL says in Chapter 28: 13 of Proverbs he who con feel he who conceals his sins will not succeed when does the above apply with regards to sins between man and his fellow man most people when they tell people about the sins of the past they tell them about the sins between them and Hashem yeah you know I violated Shabbat yeah I didn't believe in God okay but you don't really have to admit those in public according to the rambam what about what you do to people no no what people I was good I was I was a good person oh yeah so you didn't steal from anybody you didn't touch anybody's wife you didn't uh you didn't do any of those nothing you are perfect you are sadik no no I don't remember anything bad says the rambam with regards to sins between men and God it's not necessary to publicize one's transgressions indeed revealing them he says it's even arrogant to do that rather a person should repent before God blessed be he and specifically mention his sins before him in public he should make a general confession it's to his benefit not to re uh not to reveal his sins as the uh meaning the sins between him and now here we see that the ramban puskins that if a person is hiding his past because he wants to protect his image she wants to protect her image they have an ego then guess what your chuva is deficient in fact even the statement of the rambam that he shouldn't disclose his sins between him and hasem is clarified by the rad David who says while the rambam is saying not to publicize the sins between him and Hashem and rather publicize the sins between him and people he has to publicize the sins between him and hasem that are already public everyone knows that you used to drive on Shabbat everyone knows that you used to have a non-jewish boyfriend everyone knows that you went around telling people that you didn't believe in God so the only reason why you're not mentioning it is because of ego has nothing to do with hem has nothing to do with anything else but he says yeah but it's going to bring me shame exactly it's going to embarrass me perfect why because that's the way to break that Gava that's the way to break that ego and if you don't want to listen to the rambam you don't want to listen to the Raad you don't want to listen to what the Torah is telling us then you have to understand that if you have not done this properly then your Chua is incomplete and therefore you are like a secular person that's keeping and without listening to what is a person could do these MIT and keep Shabbat and keep kosher and build a Suka but yet have the G of the ego of par which will be expressed ultimately in ungratefulness now we saw in the story of par that his end was not like his beginning Hashem brought him shame and demise to the point where he had to go chase around in the middle of the night in his pajamas looking for mosenu to please get out of Egypt already the king of Egypt most powerful country in the world he walking around running around asking little kids for directions of how do he get the m in the middle of the night in his pajamas no guards no chariots nothing those little Arabian flipflops he's looking foru what an embarrassment why because the demise had to happen because of the G of and the same thing says will happen to a person that does not listen to the instruction of the tah and remove their GAA because that GAA that ego is going to lead to ungratefulness and if a person instead of saying thank you to the ones that helped him whether that be his wife or a husband or the children or their boss or their employees and needless to say the rabbi that saved them from Gom then schl writes in the name of a chapter 17 verse 13 in Proverbs one of the scariest statements in the entire tanak one who repays good with evil evil will not depart from his home schl says you return bad to somebody that did you a favor somebody that helped you you should know that from that moment on evil is simply never going to leave your house you're going to go from one problem to another you passed out today in the middle of Shool you passed out today in the middle of work you uh you're not even sure where your money is you lost it you just lost a bunch of money somebody just yelled at you you got into a car accident you're having fights with all types of people they used to love all these things are happening to you guess what it's just going to continue you're going to go from one tragedy to another one problem to another why you're an ungrateful person and a hates it the highest possible level because when a person is ungrateful to his fellow that is the path that eventually gets that person to be ungrateful to Hashem so before a person gets to the level of par that denied hashem's existence altogether as brings that person one problem after another one tragedy after another but the ego the G will not let him admit will not let her admit that it's because of their lack of gratitude that these problems are happening no you know come on you know things happen in life they'll say you know people get sick you know people lose money you know things happen what do we see from that they're already becoming Heretics in Hashem they're trying to blame nature they're trying to blame mazal they're trying to blame everything but themselves and in essence they're becoming what the says at the end the face of the generation is like the face of a dog and one of the beautiful beautiful commentaries of again on that Mish is that yes we all know that there's leaders that are like dogs we're asking the owners asking the community where to go but that's not what we're going to talk about he says you see there are people that literally are like dogs why when a person throws a rock at a dog what does the rock what does what does a dog do starts biting the rock why he's an idiot he's a dog he's a fool he doesn't know anything don't you realize the guy threw the Rock at you the guy's hitting you with the stick he's biting the stick he's biting The Rock he says some people have tragedies happen to them they lose they cry they suffer but in instead of looking at the hand that's beating them from above what do they do they bite the rock they bite the stick they want to blame nature they want to blame uh the stock market they want to blame their boss they want to blame all types of things except themselves that is leading hem to hit them with a stick they're acting like dogs and what schl says that makes this so scary is that meaning this will never end for this person it's not like a he does bad he shows ungr itude he shows ungratefulness and a bad thing happens to them no no it's just one bad after another after another after another it just simply never going to stop until they do Chua and that's why schl also says hold on to m never let it down but there are plenty of people that will watch musar they'll even watch my lectures or other rabis lectures that are M lectures but they don't actually apply them and on them the says on this that says hold on to musar never let it down never leave musar because if you don't fix your character traits what do you exist for what's the point of your life ungratefulness unfortunately is one of the cancers that a person can have their entire life without ever acknowledging it it's literally a terminal disease that a person could leave with could live with without even acknowledging that he has it he doesn't realize he showed UNG gratitude and shortly thereafter he got sick and the sickness won't leave leave him he has stomach AES every week he's losing money nobody likes him even his family members don't care for him he doesn't doesn't connect it to she showed lack of gratitude all of a sudden all of a sudden her husband doesn't love her as much anymore all of a sudden the kids are getting sick every other day all of a sudden she's starting to feel all types of bumps in her body that are not supposed to be there but she's not connecting it to why the ego will not allow it no it can't be my fault I I do MIT I keep Shabbat I do good things I'll just pray I'll just pray I'll just give uh I'll give I'll give $2 takaka to the local sh people simply do not realize that their own foolishness caused them to go against hem and then they get mad at Hashem for punishing them ra FR says that one time they uh were guests at some family's house and uh all of a sudden the husband tells his wife look how beautiful I remind I remodeled the entire house for you he did he remod she wanted him to remodel the house and he spent and worked and did whatever he could to remodel the house and it came out beautiful but his wife says you you remodeled the house Hashem did it now of course the average person says well yeah of course Hashem did it then that means that you're also ungrateful it's a given that Hashem does everything but that does not mean that she does not have to say thank you to her husband he's the one that exerted the effort obviously gave him the power but she did not want to acknowledge it she didn't want to acknowledge or give him any credit why because she's an ungrateful person and this type of ungratefulness is literally common in some people's lives to the point where they don't even know what it means to do good for somebody there was a another time Rim was uh coming back from a lecture and a taxi driver was a religious Jew and uh he told him a story he says some time ago you know his father got very very sick was old already and uh got so sick he wasn't able to communicate and his body was failing and he got cancer in the the part of the body and the retile part of the body to the point where he was no longer able to excrete no longer able to go to the bathroom in a natural way and they would have to remove the filth the waste from his body manually and one of the times that uh his son came to visit him in the hospital he saw that his father was suffering tremendously couldn't go to the bathroom because he was waiting for the doctor and the doctor wasn't there and he asked the nurse where's the doctor she goes waiting he didn't come yet he didn't come and he sees his father suffering agonizing pain and he says I decided at that moment I'm going to do it I'm G to do it I've seen it enough times that they do it I'm going to do it I know how to do it he decides and he starts describing literally the manual process of removing the weight from his father's body and after that cleaning everything when the nurse came in and saw what he did she go what did you do and then she realized what he did but she saw that he did everything exactly according to the protocol she smiled with great pleasure looked at him she said to him you have no idea what kind of kindness you have just done for your father the poor man has been suffering for three days and you have just done him a kindness unlike anyone else now he hasn't slept in a few days so immediately after he got that relief the father fell asleep was able to relax and sometime later he passed away when he passed away the son tells Rim I knew that yes I've done a lot of other keeps keeps but I know that there's one mitvah that I did 100% for sh there's no ego coming out of it there was no notoriety coming out of it 100% for and that was that Mitzvah and that was that Mitzvah the question is when you go to the bathroom in a natural way no one needs to remove it from you do you say the blessing that the sages instituted thanking aad that it doesn't hurt you thanking aad that you're not literally in agony and pain now a person may think no well I say it or did I say it or I didn't say they forget if if they said it this is actually one of the reasons why we had these Shar posters and distributing literally hundreds of thousands of them all over the place all over the country even in Canada and now it's actually also going to England and different people want these in their communities to have this constant reminder on their walls in every house and every Shool in every Jewish restaurant everywhere to literally look at the text when you're saying thank you to Hashem that your body operated and functioned and you were able to release yourself the person that says no it's not a big deal do you know why you're saying it's not a big deal because you're an ungrateful you're an ungrateful par that's why you don't think it's a big deal there was one time a holocaust Survivor that used to be religious and now was going off the and no one could really convince him to come back he suffered so much in the Holocaust that he had all types of difficulties in his mind justifying but then one day they see him in sh early praying with everyone staying late learning tah and then again the next day and then again the next day then again the next day and all of a sudden this guy is getting back to his elevated spiritual times so they asked him what happened what happened that brought you back he says I saw I saw someone do the what what do you mean he tells them that one time he saw in the he was in a community and he saw a Jewish man saying a after coming out of the bathroom with such excitement with such kavana to the point where his face was getting red as he was saying the words to a with complete complete connection I said to myself this is the way we're supposed to serve Hashem and shortly they after they found out that that Jew that he saw was one of Shalom that came to visit America in order to collect for his his Holiness his dedication to when he was saying AER was enough to help a Jew get himself back back from Gom and go on the path to GED in Forever the says that when a person understands what gratitude is they have to even show gratitude to a store clerk yes a store clerk that's getting paid to do the accounting and put your groceries in a bag you have to show gratitude even to them why because if they simply decided not to do it you'd have to go somewhere else you have to show gratitude everywhere whether it's to your siblings or it's to your wife or your husband or your parents many people are completely ungrateful to their parents sometimes even after doing chuba and because of their faulty chuva where they'll say listen I'm religious and my parents are not religious should I just stop talking to them forever I don't understand are they telling you not to become religious are they telling making fun of the religion no no they're nice about it it's just that you know they're not religious though wait so you're telling me that they're respectful of Hashem even if they don't follow they're respectful of your lifestyle even if they don't agree they're also responsible for you existing in the world and they didn't abandon you in some store they didn't abandon you in some field for the for for the crows to eat you they actually went to work every day to get money so they could buy food to feed you and you want to leave them you want to abandon them because didn't see the light like you did perhaps you should also do chuva along with them because all you're are all you are currently is a secular person that keeps me and many people don't realize that Serv of obligates us to fix our ego fix our faulty disgusting character traits and one of the ways that a person justifies not fixing is simply By ignoring their existence and eliminating any remers so if the rabbi that helped them do chuva is in a picture they go to the next scene he's in the synagogue they go to a different place he's giving a talk he's giving a shield they don't listen why because their ego is telling them yeah he was there when I was a zero when I was helpless when I was guaranteed to go to Gom forever if not for a very long time at least he was there he picked me up from the filth from the garbage he took me out of it no I don't want to think about those times yeah but the rambam says not only you have to think about those times you actually have to publicize them instead of deluding yourself to thinking you made yourself stop being so egotistical and arrogant to think that you did everything by yourself last but not least to show you how implemented the words of God to their life people ask why do the sages argue in theim simply because they want to perfect the practice of the law and the way that you see this is simply in their day-to-day lives Shalom after one of his surgeries he asked to uh the people that with him how do you say thank you in English and they told him thank you and then they started watching of yashiv practice saying thank you very much thank you very much thank you very much and when the doctor came he told him thank you in English so they asked him Rabbi why don't you just have one of the helpers that speaks English say thank you to the doctor he says you see we learned from our prayer every day of amida that when thean the recites the prayer again we listen the whole time and we don't say anything until it gets to mod where we're thanking a where we're showing gratitude to hem that's when the entire K has to say it for themselves each person has to say for themselves to teach us that when it comes to gratitude don't do the mitvah by sending a messenger do it yourself and if you have a hard time saying thank you that's because you're listening to the teachings of par that says you're too big to say thank you and that type of thinking abai only leads to suffering and demise let's not be bav arrogant people that are ungrateful that are pretending to be religious but with secular character traits let's learn how to swallow our pride destroy it remove it and all begins learning how how to be grateful and BM we will all succeed with that being said BM you guys can ask some questions and will give us the answers again a reminder for everyone anyone that gets five of their friends family members whoever to sign up as subscribers paid subscribers to the to the uh air Rabbi app will uh can send me a obviously a proof to one of our emails and they'll get a free copy of RA again Shalom his uh new book on seph anyone that gets 25 people I'll send you the whole set of the uh five books and this is not even a book that you can find in a store and if it ever based on kosher Tor sources 30 different languages that are available to you so if you want to ask them in Spanish and Chinese Portuguese whatever you want to do it's available for you can you tell me abouto so it's time stamped to the sh you press this green button AI Rabbi on your WhatsApp you'll have the ability to ask questions will you'll be providing sources and most importantly you'll be able to know the truth and be able to rely on the sources let's see glad you enjoy this sh all right what is the AI Rabbi AI Rabbi is an app that we have you get it on the App Store and iOS and in a uh Google Android where once you uh become a subscriber of it initially you get I believe it's five free questions you could ask any question that's related to Torah life or even your general life and I'll give you a answer based on the torah's perspective uh either in text or in a uh uh audio uh which uh also is going to be accompanied with sources from the tah and the sages that prove that that's the answer some of the source are different uh timestamp lectures that I've made over the years some of the sources are different writings in so many words you'll have answers to any of your questions with reliable sources to prove them which is something that's unavailable anywhere else even if you use the famous uh uh AIS out there they're usually looking at the general internet which mishmash is Christianity Judaism Islam reformed deformed you know they mishmash everything together which means that you cannot rely on anything they say so this is literally the only app that can do this uh we have a extraordinary uh Team of Simply passionate dedicated Jews and uh people that just simply love and want to do everything possible to help so this is an amazing app that everyone that's used it loves it I think uh since we started since we launched a few months ago I believe maybe one or two people uh have uh unsubscribed and I think in both cases it was a financial reason not a uh because they didn't like the app uh so people love it and I think it's a big for people to not only get it for themselves but also to get it for people that they love and they care about because you're giving a person legitimate source of answers uh for any one of their questions and you could literally ask anything there's no uh nothing's off limits and a lot of times people have questions that they're shy or embarrassed to ask their Rabbi or ask their uh people uh so this is also another place that you could ask those questions how can I show you gratitude for your teachings the ultimate way that a person can show if they want to show me gratitude because they believe that I've helped them my lectures have helped them over the years and they want to show me gratitude ultimately the main thing is there's two things you can do one is financial support to help us continue doing what we're doing at least give M on a regular basis and make that your number one investment for eternity where you are constantly investing to help us do what we did for you for countless other people that's one two is to spread around the teachings share the lectures take uh you know these posters the USBs the books all the different things that we have in the kir store for free and distribute them in your Jewish Community those are the two things and I think that one goes with the other some people only want to distribute the information even though they have money but they're just too stingy to donate it's not fair because you're you're you're benefiting from the organization endlessly but you're not supporting it on the other end there are people that are donating but they're uh you know they're not uh they're too shy to take a box and put it in their Sho that's foolish why because you go to Sho anyway you go to the Kosher Supermarket anyway take a box take a few USBS give some to your friends put it in the Sho what's the big deal would you embarrassed to be Jewish so people have to literally smart ups and I think personally that's the ultimate way that a person can show gratitude for the things that they've benefited from our organization um and and really the the thank you letters and theak stickers and all that stuff it's all nice but uh there's a uh to show that you really support it's a person has to put their money where their mouth is and the reason why I say that is because uh a person that is benefits a lot uh from what we do but does not show finan Cal support to me that shows that they're not grateful and I'm not talking about people that are poor the average person that's watching me is not poor if you could afford a smartphone or a computer certainly you're not poor uh you know everybody could help in some ways some people could help with thousands and tens of thousands and some people could have could help with five and 10 and $20 whatever it is but everyone can do something but unfortunately there are some people that literally love money so much they simply cannot part with it and that's uh disgusting simply disgusting not just in my eyes it's disgusting in the eyes of hem hhm hates people that are not grateful so I think that uh a person that wants the support uh has many ways to do it with our organization you go to our website which ism.org b z r a t h h m.org uh if uh you uh are on YouTube You could also donate by becoming a paid subscriber on YouTube uh you could donate on our app which which is called B app you could download it and watch this lectures uh the old ones and the live ones uh you could uh send a check on the website there's also an address you can send a check you can send a wire transfer uh it's b as in beat e e z r a t h a h m.org if you didn't get it still then uh you could just simply send me a message and I'll send you the website after the lecture is done uh and uh really the biggest thing is that there's many people that benefit from the lectures and even from the questions they ask after the lectures and throughout their lives in such profound ways they change and transform their entire lives but they simply don't support and uh I usually don't check who donates and who doesn't but I could tell you personally that that I uh that there are times that I do find out in some way or another and when I find out somebody is you know one of these people that is constantly asking questions constantly watching the lectures constantly getting stuff but is not supportive to me there's no bigger insult in that you can call me names you could what do whatever you want but to to benefit in that regard and not contribute to me there's no bigger insult in that why because it literally shows UNG gratitude and it shows me that it's a practically a lost cause so you know it's say uh it's not uh it's it's everyone that knows me and has watched my lectures knows that I don't do this for money if I wanted to make money I could make money in a million different ways certainly not from this when you donate you donate to support the organization and uh a person that watches the lectures and gets the material and does all of this but still uh doesn't want to support I don't I don't know what else I can do to help such a person because uh if you get so much and you still don't want to give from yourself this uh simply that shows that apparently uh uh I can't help you you need a miracle or something I want to donate but I can't do it online you could send a check you could do a wire transfer you could use Weiss there's plenty of ways I'm broken I can't donate okay so you can't donate fine so it's a uh the issue is not with you the issue is with people that are not broken the average person is not broke what's bigger donating for a taus Scholars a k or doing kiru uh well when you donate to help a Torah scholar uh you're in essence relying on the fact that this Torah scholar or this K that has Torah scholars in it uh are going to be serious are going to be righteous people not wasting seed not uh Heretics they're going to be serious serious people and based on that you're going to get the merits of them learning to uh proportionally to what you gave you can't just you know give you know $100 and expect all of their merits it's all proportionate to what you gave versus what they actually need to survive and in essence uh assuming they're good and you give you'll get merits from that Torah when you donate for kiru meaning to help us do these lectures to help people do chva uh to help us print these books and posters and give everything for free then you become a partner in obviously proportionate to what you gave and anyone that will benefit from it so anyone that will take one of these posters and use them for blessings in their house them and their wife and their kids and their neighbors and whoever their guests get guess what that goes to your account also someone that listens to lectures as a result of your donation guess what and they end up doing chuva every mitvah that that person will ever do aside from just listening to those lectures everything whether it's they do a or they read a Torah book or they givea everything that that person will ever do you are a partner in it meaning that the amount of benefit that you have in donating to to kiru that works not just any kiru some people just donate to you know big kiru organizations that don't actually do kiru the kir that actually works to help people do chuva the benefit is literally endless so the beautiful part is with our organization is that we have both the kiru that has helped countless people and we also have Torah Scholars we have two K and B a third one uh on the way and we have Torah Scholars we have deim we have very very serious so a person can do both with us point being is is that a uh a person that uh looks at the benefits they get from supporting us realize that when they donate to they're helping themselves more than anybody else how does a person overcome Financial challenges of moving into a Jewish Community for conversion also I've donated three times in the past month even though I didn't have much money first of all I'm not sure if you're male or female by your screen name uh for supporting that's very good as far as overcoming Financial uh obstacles a person has to realize that their financial success is decreed by Hashem which means that the more you really want to do the will of Hashem the more Hashem is going to open up the opportunities and the doors that are necessary for you in order to you be for you to be able to do it so if the uh one of the barriers to entry is financial then Hashem will open up the gates if uh but if a person sees that it's not happening that means that that's not the only barrier to entry perhaps you're not elevating yourself spiritually yet Perhaps uh you haven't fixed enough character traits perhaps uh you're not really showing how serious you are in doing the will of hem but rather you're waiting for once you get there then you'll do it person has to do everything within their means and their ability today and not wait for the future like some people say listen I'll donate I'll support I'll do after I make such and such that's not the right way that's not the right mentality person has to do everything within their power today and again tomorrow and again the next day and even if whatever is within their power is not a lot do it and you'll see that as you do everything within your power to serve hem you'll have more and more doors open for you you to make you succeed and to do it even better why was King of grateful to M uh while being an anti-semite because he saved his life you know even if even uh uh Hitler was grateful to a Jewish doctor because that Jewish doctor saved his life when he was a baby so when somebody's life is on line uh everything else goes out the window so actually that Jewish doctor that saved Hitler's life when he was a baby uh was one of the Jews that Hitler chose not to kill and he actually gave him a special pass for him and his family uh because he did that for him I really enjoyed giving the laminated the sh posters maybe in the future projects for now we have hundreds of thousands of these give more of them out get more of them out for your community for other communities don't just give it to your Sho go it to other shs whether it's Ashi or both versions are on the get them give them out distribute them and every Jewish Supermarket should have it every uh you know judic store should have it every synagogue should have it all your friends should have it all your family should have it everybody literally has to take advantage of the opportunity of the books and the AAR and and the uh USB cards and everything that we're giving out literally for free they literally cost millions of dollars we're spending every penny we have to back into getting am to whether it's to eat and supporting them financially or to learn t or to do chuva or to do blessings literally everything goes into it and it's available for people to uh to literally save there are many people that go to the bathroom even though if they're religious and they simply don't do a or if they do it it's you know it's almost better off they didn't do it because it was such a horrible K so this this this poster is a beautiful thing we've been giving it out for years now there's a new package new packaging of it it's even nicer than last time uh we've given out hundreds of thousands in the past we're giving out hundreds of thousands of it now and they're going fast but everybody should take advantage of the opportunity to to do it and of course those that have the financial means should also step up and uh and help support you know right write some uh big checks it's uh when somebody does uh that they become a partner and every single person the benefits from what we do what's an example if somebody had donated that benefited from you recently oh so yeah we had a bunch of uh Amazing chuba Stories and people that donated during rosashana uh that in the past and Yip uh that actually spoke for themselves wrote for themselves about the Miracles they got as a result of donating and supporting our organization uh if you're asking about what happened since then uh I know uh there's one particular uh one particular guy that uh got uh asked me for some uh guidance about something and as a result of the guidance that I gave him I think since he's made about 34 $100,000 um so yeah you know people benefit yeah there's also a couple of people that uh took advantage uh of the uh thing that I offered people that donate more and they want uh an hour a phone call for for guidance in their business or whatever it is uh I'll do it but you know a lot of people that uh say no but uh it's too expensive okay so don't do it go pay your somebody else I'm not it's not for me selling it it's simply we are looking to uh help more people and we're looking to help the people that are helping us more people if you can do it fine no problem not not I think I mentioned it once or twice uh about it see I have a question that nobody will really like do you think that the wildfires in LA are are because of all the immorality it's not just I think it's a reality Hashem does not bring fire to uh to destroy destroy places because they're good because they're righteous hasem destroys Sodom and Gomorrah with fire Hashem destroyed Egypt with fire Hashem destroyed the entire world at the time of Noah with water why why did he destroy all of these places because of immorality and specifically the immorality in that particular area that's being destroyed is not only because of immorality but because the immorality led to uh to heresy led to them making fun of God in recent two days before the event there was an an International Celebrity event where they were literally publicly making fun of God uh so it's I'm surprised that it's only a fire with such few deaths uh if if if God wasn't as merciful as he is then it would be the fire with all of the tenants inside the houses so the fact that it's only buildings that were destroyed for the most part and relatively few deaths in comparison to the the amount of people that live there shows how merciful god is and how he's trying to help those people do chuva before the next fire actually burns them too uh but uh for people that uh don't see it they're simply choosing to be blind RAB at Noah height can I join the milit military can you yes you can do whatever you want you could also jump off of a mountain into an ocean should you is is is the question uh and the answer to that from my perspective no I don't think that the uh it's going to uh be as beneficial for you as the brochures tell you uh especially since it's very difficult to serve AEM while being a soldier uh you're constantly traveling you're constantly training uh it's hard to have a family it's hard to have a normal marriage a normal Parenthood uh it's also hard to have a normal mind uh because you're constantly thinking about war about the enemy even if the enemy is nowhere near you even if the enemy is 10,000 miles away so to you know to bring yourself to that by choice I don't really understand the reason why would anybody would do that and as far as money there's a whole lot more money to be made by getting a regular job uh so uh can you yes should you no you came to this world to serve the King of Kings not to serve people that pretend to be Kings military is a passion for many men okay well those types of men are not asking me the question types of people that ask me that question are people that don't have that passion because if they had that passion it wouldn't be a question I fear that my son will go off the D he's still very young like three years old what pushes people to go off the D number one thing that pushes people to go off to D is their parents if the parents do not know how to elevate the kids to strengthen the kids to you know lead by example then the number one reason of why the kids are not going to be want to not want to be religious is because they view their parents as Hypocrites they view their parents as fakers and uh if they see that and then that's uh uh replicated again in the Yeshiva or the Yesa is not strong enough to fix what they see at home then it's very very likely that the kids will go after uh so number one thing that a person needs to do in order to help their kids not go after the D is work on themsel work on themselves which means fix their midot learn T make sure that your kids see you learn tah make sure your kids see you pray make sure that the kids see you being happy being religious never talk about Torah or or being a religious Jew in a negative way never talk about how it's expensive or how it's difficult uh you know never talk about these types of things and in front of most kids that don't have the uh the the uh the developed mind yet don't even talk about Heretics uh even if you heard it in my that doesn't mean that your kids should know about it it depends again different people different things my kids know about it because they live with me and I could answer any one of their questions of who what when how your kids may not be that way your kids May uh I mean you know if he's three years old obviously he's still not level of but the point is if somebody's you know six seveny old kid doesn't really understand what a heretic really is yet don't talk about there being a bad Rabbi that's a heretic because then he's going to think all rabbis are bad so you have to know how to educate the kids you have to know how to promote them learning uh number one by them seeing you learn if they see you learn Torah if they see you love the Torah they'll love it also but if they see you just tell them to do it but you don't do it yourself they're going to hate it and even eventually reject it because they say you're a hypocrite it's a uh it's just a reality the attempt to make studying to difficult for a person at times all the time the will always make it difficult for JE to study T the only people that do not have a to study T are usually do not have a for studying they could literally study to for 10 hours and without without any distractions not all of them but many of them why because they don't have an obligation to learn toah but Jews on the other hand that are obligated to learn toah doesn't matter if you're young old new veteran there's always some type of yet that's going to try to get in your way of studying Torah whether it's health issues Financial issues uh uh distractions whatever it is uh sometimes a person can't wait to study toah other times person feels so challenged to do it why does the mood vary and down sometimes how to be more consistent that depends on how a person is a views the Torah if a person views the tah as this is life I can't breathe without this then the option of not doing it is not there it's just simply it's difficult to do it cuz I don't feel like it I don't feel good but I have to do it cuz I have to breathe but if a person hasn't gotten to that level where they view the Torah as breathing uh then they have to learn enough M and Implement what they learn into their life not just about learning toah but also about fulfilling the rest of the mitv whether it's giving takaka or it's a being honest in business or it's a respecting your elders or uh or your uh your wife your husband you know raising the kids all the different mitv that we have have a person has to make sure that they're actually uh not just learning like a bookworm uh that eats books but doesn't actually do anything they have to apply all these things to to their life and little by little that's going to increase their and their love of is it ever no uh do you think Zionism is moral or immoral I have entire series of lectures to discuss Zionism and how it's against the Torah and how it's against Judaism uh the series is called era of mashiah it's based on a book by R El Vas what are some of the some good and honest professions that a Jewish man can do to provide for his family quite frankly anything that's ethical you can do uh anything that's moral you can do you could be a uh an entrepreneur with a business uh whether it's a lerat or it's a uh you know having a uh uh a bunch of vending machines or it's being a lawyer or that's so dealing with business law real estate law uh or it's a doctor there's countless different types of uh doctors uh you could be an architect you could there's a lot of things there's a lot of things number one thing I believe is to be an entrepreneur to be a business owner uh or to work for a business owner or a company uh you be a driver uh for UPS for Amazon you could pack boxes depends on your skill level depends on your abilities but there's countless ways that a person can make a living uh uh I think that uh when a person is finding themselves without a job for a long period of time it's usually because they're too picky it's the same thing with people that find themselves not married for a long time it's usually because they're too picky they're not willing to settle sometimes you have to settle before you get to what what you want how do you approach tithing uh giving M from an income do you actually uh do you tie it from after taxes or before taxes the way you give m is based on the check that's in your hand meaning if you are an employee of a company and you get a paycheck that removes the taxes from the check then you give the Mel from the dollar amount that you actually got let's say you made uh a th000 and they deducted 40% taxes from it and you got a $600 check in your hand you give them sell the tithe from the $600 but if you are a contractor or a business owner that you don't get the taxes is something that you pay you know at other you know at the end of the year uh then you uh should give the M from the gross meaning you got let's say a customer paid you $1,000 uh and you paid let's say the the cost of the goods let's say you sold them a bunch of material that cost you $200 so the profit was $800 you should give the M off $800 uh you know but it's not not after taxes because if people wait to deduct taxes and expenses and all these different things they'll end up giving Mel uh you know of $310 off of a $100,000 income so they'll never give anything and they'll never have any blessings is it true is it true Jewish thought holds others to be inferior and Jewish people as Superior uh yes or no meaning that if you're talking about the religious Jews that learned Torah uh then yes they are superior to everything in the world for them the world exists if you're talking about a uh Jew that does not follow the Torah then that Jew is not only not Superior to everyone in the world that Jew is the worst thing in the world meaning he's worse than even a uh the the the uh uh animals that's why the says that a Judah does not follow the Tor is uh not allowed to eat meat why because the cow is better than him so it depends on which Jew you're talking about if it's a Jew that's learning tah and following the tah that that Jew is the Pinnacle of creation hasem literally allows the world to exist for his sake and everything that exists in the world whether it's the people that build Bridges or that they make the water system work or uh or or make uh AI what all of those people literally operate and function in order for for him to benefit from it in some way or another on the other hand the guy that's against the Torah he's worse than everything else so it's not a just because you're uh you're Jewish by default you're you're better than everything it's not true if you're serving hem at the highest level then I then you are the best if you're not serving hasem at all then you're the worst what's your opinion of Muslims Muslims that are peaceful Muslims that are ethical um I have no problems with them I have problem with the text that they learn because the text that they learn in the Quran is anti-Semitic and anti everything but they themselves as individuals have no problems with them just like I don't have any problems with Christians I have a problem with their text because their teachings are anti-semitic their teachings are antithetical to to God but them as people have no problems with them as long as they're ethical as long as they're not haters and and enemies have no problems with them but if they are against the Jewish people they're or they're against the Torah and they say things that are that are manipulative and and lies then obviously they're the enemies of God and if any that's an enemy of God is an enemy of mine why a good time for repentance if you go to the website tun ab. live tab. live TI k k u n h a b r i t l i v e over there there's a written explanation of what is even the uh shim stand for and then there's different lectures that you can watch that discuss it but it's in essence it's a it's during a time where we read the uh book of schot book of Exodus uh which is an auspicious time to fix the breit to do chuva for the breit but for more details you can watch those uh videos that we have Why is the over 35 religions uh why is this separate well you have to understand that until 3,300 years ago there was only Judaism and I uh well I'm sorry until 2,000 years ago there was only Judaism and idol worship meaning pagans that prayed the statues and the Moon and the Sun and all that stuff similar to things that they do still do in some parts of the world but Judaism came 33 300 years ago at Mount sa before that there was no Christianity there was no Buddhism there was no Islam there was nothing there was just pagans and there was the Jews 2,000 years ago a heretical Jew uh decided to go against the Torah and start a new Following start a new tradition start a new law uh that forsake the Old Law today we call that uh uh that religion Christianity or Catholicism that's the New Testament 1,400 years ago uh the uh Islam started now both Islam and Christianity regardless of which version of Christianity Catholicism Protestant Lutheran doesn't make a difference Christianity and Islam both stand on the you know theoretically they stand on the foundation of Judaism meaning they say they are a continuation of Judaism their continuation of the tah even though that's false that's that's in essence where what what they're they say is their Foundation they don't say that God spoke to them or at Mount SA or that uh you know uh that there was no mounts they say that everything the Torah says is true they just believe that they are continuation now of course uh if a person is clever at least clever enough to read the book called kuzari and see the uh spiritual battle that the karian king uh had to fight in order to find the truth from being born uh as a non-jew and eventually deciding to convert himself in his entire Kingdom to Judaism it's after he spoke to the biggest experts in Islam in Christianity and in Judaism and he concluded and you see the entire dialogue in that book of why he concluded Judaism is the only truth so a person that says uh you know a uh that Islam or or or or uh or uh Christianity is the truth is by default also saying that Judaism is the truth because it can never be that Judaism is false and Islam is true or Christianity is true why because if Judaism is false it makes everything else after it false because that's the foundation for everything so mathematically speaking there's a possibility that Judaism is true and Islam is true Judaism is true and Christianity is true Judaism is true and all three of them are true or only Judaism is true that's the that's that's the that's the reality but there is no possibility mathematically speaking scientifically speaking that any one of the other religions would be true and not Judaism why because that that's the foundation that's the foundation so a person that looks at anything that's considered of wisdom from the Quran from the uh Islam in general other uh books that they have they'll see that all of their greatest wisdom was plagiarized from Judaism same thing with Christianity look at any of the wisest statements and teachings that come from the New Testament the pastors the priests the you know the their leaders whoever they are all of the greatest things that they have come from Judaism everything was plagiarized from Judaism everything that's good came from the tah came from Judaism the rest of it is lies so it's not good so that's the thing a person that evaluates and analyzes things without a bias will always arrive at the conclusive truth that the only truth that exists in the the world is the Torah of Judaism that's it there's nothing else everything else is false everything else is man-made now if a person doesn't do enough analysis then they're simply going to live a life for as long as they're in this world why waste your time at least investigate how do we know that mount wasn't an Alien Encounter because in the uh Tora in where it talks about Mount and also in where it talks about Mount there's no mention of any alien whatsoever in fact the entire Torah does not mention any alien whatsoever in you know talking to mosenu there's no little green monster talking to mosenu asking him what does he think about his spaceship what does he think about the fact that uh you know people think that he can fly what is he there nothing that doesn't exist alien is just something that is from the modern craziness that is an outcome of people watching too many movies now are there aliens according to the Torah is a different question the sages do not say that there isn't but they also say don't say that there is there are other beings which I've spoken about before they're actually on Earth that are big that are small that have multiple heads that to us would be viewed as aliens but as far as whether there is life on mars or Pluto or wherever else there's no denial by the sages of the toat that there is uh but the reason why the sages don't like spend an extraordinary amount of time uh you know talking about aliens because it's not relevant to our life the the uh the old movie uh I think it's called Independence Day where there's a bunch of aliens that come to destroy the world and all the other crazy sci-fi films that came before and after it to talk about aliens coming to the world and destroying it or attacking it or none of that stuff is ever going to happen all the stuff that you guys see on YouTube and on on on on Rumble and on Tik Tok about these alien encounters or the spaceships all this stuff it's in so many words complete nonsense that is the Satan wasting your time simple even if you want to say no no this was definitely an alien spaceship that they got and they hit it at Area 51 and the government you know they uh they hid it from everyone but now some people found out about a document that was discovered in 2007 of how LED Martin was gonna you know give this back to the to the government but the government rejected it because the CIA got involved I'm aware of all this nonsense I'm aware even if you want to say there's a bunch of spaceships right now right now there's a bunch of spaceships flying around your house they're still never going to affect your life or your ability to serve asem aliens will not affect your life they'll waste your time whether they exist or don't exist because instead of learning toah and praying and and doing what you're supposed to you're watching alien videos and you're chasing some uh some reptile that doesn't exist so certainly they'll waste your time like the rest of the conspiracy theories but as far as affecting your life absolutely not absolutely not there's no some alien religion or alien civilization that is somehow going to encounter people and maybe become friends with Elon Musk and therefore going to start none of that stuff is never going to happen why because the Torah specifically tells us how this world has been run how it will continue to run and how it will end and in no place does it mention a an alien invasion it does have a huge war between people between monsters that are in this world there are things that are what we would consider Supernatural but aliens is certainly not it can a prayer of a no height to a to help Jews actually help Jews yes is allowed to listen to sports is worse than all the sins if he wants to listen for two minutes five minutes while he's in the bathroom uh and he's not able to learn to it's one thing but to listen to it on a regular basis to become a fan no are you ashkanazi no I'm Safari is it true that the number of stars is mentioned in talmud yes the the talud in tra page 32 B it's one 64 340 and then 12 zeros after it which is 10 to the 18th power approximately Tom Alexander the Great was a monotheist um well it talks about how Alexander came to uh uh came to uh uh he bowed to uh Shimon a sadik because hasem made uh him see an angel in the image of Shimon sadik every time he went to war so when he saw Shimon sadik he about him he thought that he's the angel uh but as far as him being a monotheist I don't believe that uh he was a monotheist but he did believe in God so there are people that believe in God and in something else some people believe in money some people believe in power some people believe in statues all types of stupid things uh but as far as Alexander Great he wasn't exactly a uh Torah scholar he uh learned from Aristotle he was his top student and the mam loes uh that was published about 300 years ago uh based obviously of previous sources writes that Aristotle in his later days uh discovered uh Judaism and uh discovered it to be true and uh abandoned his own heresy and actually wrote a letter that's published in the mam lez to his top student which was Alexander the Great saying that uh he shouldn't read uh his writings anymore you shouldn't learn from him anymore in fact anyone that will learn from him is not only wasting their time but will get punished severely for it because the only truth is Judaism this was a letter from Aristotle which was the teacher of Alexander the GRE so whether Alexander Great ended up following uh in the footsteps of his uh teacher or not I doubt because uh also Alexander the Great was also fig he was a rainbow person so it wasn't exactly a sadik why the F first five books of the tanak more significant than the rest because those are the five books that we got from God we got actually the four books uh from God uh in a different time frame we got a mount saai we got everything from Genesis all the way until Exodus and then over the next 40 years God told Moshe to continue writing up until the uh the book of Deuteronomy the book of Deuteronomy was what Mosen wrote as his own personal uh journal from his own perspective that he was not planning on adding it to anything this was for him but because he wrote it with prophecy uh from Hashem uh Hashem told him to add this to the first four books and make it a total of five books and he called it five books of Moses so those are the books that we got directly from God uh everything that was in after it uh the prophets wrote so yes the prophets are the prophets of God but it wasn't dictated by God word for word like the in the same fashion as what we got at Mount and also the five books of Moses are where we find our laws for everything meaning any law that we have in Judaism has to have a source from the five books of Moses we don't conclude laws from the prophets or the writings we only conclude our laws uh from the five books of Moses everything else for example when uh the talmud talks about one of the laws and it tells you this we got from let's say the book of Exodus chapter this verse that then that's what we say this is what the law is but if the uh Sage says well this is what it uh the law is this based on Psalms or based on Proverbs say okay we like that Proverbs mentions it or Psalms mentions it or job mentions it but that's not how we're we conclude laws the laws have to be concluded based on a uh the um uh specific verse in the five books of Moses so the the verses so when they use a verse from Proverbs or or from writings or from the prophets that's called an as meaning a support but it's not enough to conclude a law in order for it to be conclud conclude a law it has to come from the five books of Moses can people win lottery give money to charity like kiru sure why not are you allowed to put a fan on your bed on chabas if you to turn it on or off on shabas no but if it's already on then and it's on top of your bed there's no problem leaving it on but you can't turn it on and off onat what is the truly mean when it says in Shabbat 17A when Gom is only 12 months uh in my film uh says Gom I actually talk about that there's multiple places uh where it says it calls it says ises and the r writes that is not a time frame but rather a place so in essence what uh what what is being said here is that if it's referring to righteous people like the ones that are mentioned at the end of that have many they keep they keep they have many like and they have some sins because no such thing as a righteous person that doesn't sin then those people that are righteous overall but they have sins they'll go to Gom uh for 12 months but if it's a uh if it's a person that's a that the same T same says he has no share of the world to come then obviously or he's a murderer or he's atheist or or or LGB rainbow a person or something like that then obviously a sentence is not 12 months because the same Tora says that is he has no no end to his punishment so for them the place they go to is which is a you know it's it's it's a certain chamber in G it's not it's not it's not a time frame but rather it's a place so again that's why we have to understand when we learn talmud when we learn T we don't learn from one line and conclude this is what it is we learn all of the information that where it's mentioned in different places in order to understand a complete picture the same concept of how you learn any other uh subject uh in a comprehensive way you don't conclude that uh it's uh how long it takes to get from uh uh a a rocket ship from uh the ground to uh let's say into the outer Atmosphere by watching a Tik Tock video of uh Elon musk's uh company SpaceX that's not how you're going to learn how to launch a rocket how do you do it you may watch some of those videos to see an actual rocket launch as part of your research but it's also going to be a whole lot of rocket science literally rocket science and you're going to have to implement it and you're going to have to use all types of uh you know tools from the world of mathematics from the world of science from the worth of physics from all the different types of wisdoms that are necessary in order for you to know how how to launch a rocket and if somebody tells you no no I could already know everything I need to do to build a rocket that's going to go up into the air just by watching a uh a uh you know a Tik Tok video you're going to tell that person you're an idiot you should be instituted why because that's simply not enough information the same concept is when it comes to learning toah a person that concludes everything from a single sentence and says this is what it means yeah what about the fact that there's other plac that cont ICT it no no I don't care about those places I only care about this one place okay that means you do not know how to learn to so it's important to know that there are times that you're going to find statements that seem like they conflict with each other even in the same Su in the and then the SAG says no no no there's no conflict and then they explain to you why there's no conflict in this way it's because he was referring to it when it was here in another place he was referring to it in someplace else and so on and so forth so that's that's a uh let's say for example in in this week's par you have a AEM identifies his name identifies the name and he says that I am as I am but then he says his name the you K so so wait is it I am as I am is it a uh uh you know is it you know that's that is said a hey instead of K what is it so I believe it's around page 50b uh if I'm not mistaken uh says that uh no 51 51a uh talks about how the uh's name he says the uh in I my name is the UT k v k but in this world it's not pronounced as is as is is written you're not allowed to pronounce the k okay you pronounce it with a d which means you know it's a like the word Adonai now we usually uh say Amai you know but for the sake of teaching you I don't want to say and you guys misunderstand so for the sake of teaching you it's pronounced with the uh like adoni like my master but I so but in reality when you look at the word the four letters doesn't there's no d That's because that's not really how you read that word but in this world we're not allowed to say the real world we're not allowed to say the real world so Hashem says in this world I am as I am meaning you say my name as you say adoni my master but in the uh in the next World in when the Salvation comes when mashia comes you'll be allowed to say my real name my real name which is the UT and also this is also anytime you see people uh try to pronunciate or write even uh how the utk is supposed to be said that's the number one uh red uh uh uh you know confirmation a red flag that this is either a Christian Missionary uh or or someone that's a complete ignoramus uh you never going to find educated Jews ever pronouncing the uh uh the name in fact even one of the sages that thear says wanted to teach this subject uh very uh deeply was told not to do it not to do it why because we can't use it anyway so why why put the uh uh you know a stumbling block in front of the blind but the point being it is is that initially it looks like even the five books of Moses contradicted itself that Hashem himself has contradicted himself he's saying I am as I am but then he says but then he says his name so which one is it is it both you have multiple names what it is even though hasm has multiple names but what's the point of these two statements so the explains that he's in essence telling you this there's a difference of what you're allowed to say my name is in this world and there versus in the what it actually is that you'll be allowed to say later on if we marit bu of the okay all right uh it's been a little bit over two hours I think that is more than enough there's plenty of lectures that uh we uh have that uh you guys can get some more information from if you need more there's other stump the rabbis there's of course the other lecture we did uh yesterday of the era of mashiah and also there's the AR you can ask questions and there's also 4,000 other ones that we could learn more but uh I enjoyed learning with you sh bless each and every single one of you especially those that are supportive those that are donating those that are sharing uh and I look forward to seeing how many of you actually take up the challenge to get some of your friends and family to subscribe to the AI Rabbi so I will be very very happy to send you some books for free how many of you actually step up to sponsor the lectures like our dear friends uh uh Jonathan huris did and uh several other families do um it's people have to step up people have to do more because this is what we are in this world for this is what we're in this world for we're not in this world to collect more and more digital numbers on a screen we're in this world in order to do more and we use our time and our efforts and our resources to do it thank you very much for learning with me maym bless each and every single one of you we'll learn again next week [Music] TR [Music] oh [Music]
