we have some new people today and a lot of interesting things happening in the world I say every week yeah I say every week that there's something in the par that is relevant to our life every week every week you're going to read the par and you're going to find something relevant to your life and the life that's everything that's happening in the world so when you first say that to somebody it doesn't read Torah it's very hard to believe how could a story from 3,300 years ago be relevant to me today what could I learn from a story about Moses about Aaron about all of these people how could it be relevant to me but when you see what's happening in the T and you number one reflect on what's happening in the world you definitely can learn something then when you learn enough about the parasha itself you can always pick up a at least one thing I mean obviously many many more because the Torah is endless it's eternity it's something that you can never learn enough from even if you learn one par your entire life you will still learn something every single time you read it but you can see in the par that not only will you find something that's relevant to your life it's relevant to your life at that time in your life meaning that you read it this week it'll be relevant to your life this week you read it a year from now saying same time it'll be relevant to your life at that time of your life and we've had the privilege of of doing the test and it's been really amazing to see how many things you can learn because even though some of the things are General and really apply to all of us I think that there's enough things that are very very specific that we could all work on and we could all reflect and try to see that the reality of it is that no human in the world could have ever written the Tora because no human in the world could ever write so much wisdom in just what 100 word 100 sentences 110 sentences it's not really much each pal is relatively very short so the big elephant in the room that's happened over the last several weeks is the Israeli elections I don't like to spend much time about politics because I think the politicians are generally um in order for them to be very good they have to be very good liars uh when I was uh very active in the business world I had the very same opinion now that we spend a little bit more time in a Torah world my opinion has gotten even stronger and the reason why is because I see that a lot of the people that are supposed to represent the country forgot what they're representing what I mean by that is that in order for Israel to be justifiably ours and in a logical way for it to be something that we can say to the Muslim world the Palestinians and whoever else wants us dead that they're wrong it has to be a Jewish country and I don't mean Jewish where people have a mother that's Jewish I mean a Jewish country where it's a religious country a Torah observant country why because when we went to the UN in 1948 and we told them that this country belongs to ours and we're the only country in history the only nation in history that actually has a deed to the land for over 3,300 years meaning that America we live here it's a great country it has a lot of good things in it but America technically wasn't always around America a few hundred years ago there was other people here there was the Native Indians that were living here and Americans took the land from them and was a very unfortunate story for the Native Indians and a lot of damage happened from it a lot of uh horror stories anyone that uh spends any time in New York should go to the Native American Museum there it's very nice it shows you a lot of the uh uh the Native American uh Heritage the history also some of the suffering they endured no less than any other nation that went through suffering so in so many words in order for America to get the country that we live in today that we are proud of today that we're in today they had in essence to take it from someone Israel on the other hand was given to us by God God decided when he created the world that he created the world for Jews he didn't create the world for the monkeys he didn't create the world for the Nazis he didn't create the world for the Egyptians he didn't create the world for the Americans with all du respect to every creature in the world the reality of it is that if you believe in a toah he created the world for the Jews he says at countless time throughout the entire tanak my firstborn son is the Jew a is firstborn he didn't say my firstborn son is Obama he didn't say my firstborn son is Netanyahu he didn't say my firstborn son is Amman am judge something like that Jud whatever his name is Satan same thing he said my firstborn son is the Jew now hasem describes the Jew a little bit differently than we described the Jew today today people describe the Jew as someone that his mother is Jewish and that's about it that's the qualification Hashem described as a Jew as someone is a Torah observant Jew that follows the mitv that keeps Shabbat does not drive on Shabbat does not watch TV on Shabbat that keeps kosher that keeps all of the other laws that we have in the Tora that's what a Jew is someone who doesn't want to do it will not qualify to be a Jew simple as it gets it's not uh no one is forced to be a Jew hasem doesn't say listen you're forced to be Jewish you are Jewish but to qualify to this exclusive Club you have to follow these laws that I wrote for you very simple so we went to the United Nations we told the world that the country belongs to us because we have this book called the Torah and hasem and he actually held the book up in the air and he told the world this is our proof that the land is ours now obviously the Arab countries and many other countries weren't very big fans of the Jew since the beginning of time more so in the last 100 or so years if they had a brain that they were that was active they could have rebutted everything he said they could have said you're right you do have this toah and it does say the land is yours but it also also says you have to listen to what it says it also says you have to keep the Shabbat It also says that you have to observe all the laws in it you don't observe so technically you don't believe in this book why should we give you the land if you don't believe that the book is real then you're not going to follow it if you believe it's real then you have to follow it so if you're going to use it as evidence as the foundation of why you deserve the country the land then you have to follow what it says this has you have to legitim legitimize the document you're using unfortunately in today's age people have a motivation that's not necessarily always pure and money has become the root of all evil for many many reasons so even the people that are supposed to be our leaders they are supposed to be the ones who know the ones that are religious for whatever reason or another have found that there's a bigger battle between each other than there is against the enemy so the reason why I don't really spend much time about politics is because it disgusts me I think it's disgusting in the Hebrew you say goish unfortunately in English there really isn't a proper description a proper interpretation for guish what people are saying about other people it's something that's amazes me that anyone pays attention to any of it number one I already know and not just believe but know that everything is under hashem's control whoever he wants in power is going to be in power I also know that we are the generation of the mashia which means that the leaders we will have will go against us says it in the says it in many places in the Torah the leaders we will we will have will do everything that's the in the opposite interest of the people so it's not surprising to me if a wrong leader is picked whether he are where he was or will be it's not surprising I don't understand why anyone's fighting what bothers me is that when people that are both Torah observants Jews are going against each other instead of going against the second world and trying to unite the people instead of go against each other then it chose me that obviously Hashem is in control here he's going to dictate exactly what happens and we are getting closer and closer to the time where the mashiah comes the good news about the Messiah is that he's coming very soon the bad news is that we're running out of time to do Chua so a lot of people that are not observant Jews that say oh when is the mhia going to come if you're not keeping you really shouldn't hope for the mhia to come even though technically you're supposed to believe that he should come every day if you're not following what the Torah says you should not be looking forward for the mhia mhia will not do good for you because you don't have an opportunity to do chuva once the mhia is here I believe it with my full heart that he's coming very soon and I see the world around us as corrupt as it is following all of the prophecies that we had where 50 years ago all of the prophecies they had written in the toah what's going to happen in the end of times very very few if any came true over the last 50 years which is again 3,300 years after it was written and in some cases about 2,000 years but still many many many years after it was written we waited all of these years and 50 years ago we had almost nothing but in the last 50 years nearly every single sign or actually every sign that was written in the toah came true whether it's the red cow the government being the way it is hyperinflation if you guys haven't noticed the price of milk when we were a little younger was $150 now it's four times that maybe three times that everything is much more expensive it used to be normal to be a teacher and make $40,000 a year and still have a house still have a car still have a good life maybe even take one vacation a year now you're considered poverty level in this country it's not normal that you need so much money to survive and it's only getting wor worse there's an illusion in the world that because the stock market is going higher people are doing better but that's only the 1% that already has a lot of money the vast majority of this country does not have more money than it did a few years ago and a lot of the things the Torah wrote are happening so the reason why I say this is relevant to a is because with all of the that's happened especially in the last week week and a half about really good people I think it's perfect that we get to because is about corot andot sacrifices what are they for they're in order for us to repent for our sins after someone sinned unintentionally they made a mistake they turned on the light on Shabbat when they knew that they cannot do it but they did it by accident they ate something they thought was kosher but they found out later on it wasn't kosher they said something that wasn't appropriate but at the time they thought it was and they later they found out that it wasn't appropriate they did things by accident Hashem says I didn't create the Jews and the world we live in to destroy it if I wanted to destroy it I would destroy it I wouldn't create it to Hashem everything is the same the past the present and the future is all the same meaning that the minute that he created the world it already ended for him so he didn't create it to destroy it so now you are my chosen people I gave you laws to follow but there isn't a man that's righteous that will that will live a life with all good and never sin there isn't such a thing every man will sin some by accident sometimes on purpose I will give everyone the ability to do chuva and that's how we know that Hashem knew that we're going to sin because if he thought that we were going to be perfect like the Angels he wouldn't create Chua but hasem knew that we wouldn't be able to survive without chuva so he gave us the ability to make Chua so these K these sacrifices are a way for us to repent for some of these sins and we're going to go over some of them one you know one after another and it show the difference between theote there's a lot of lessons to learn from this and I think so again going back to the political thing and then we'll leave that alone and move on with our life and hopefully Hashem will guide us in the right direction as you always does amen I think that after all the things all of the sins that were intentional and unintentional that have happened in the last week politically I think everyone has to take a step back over the next few days whether you voted for the guy or you didn't vote for the guy you hate him or you love him the reality of it is remember it's all dictated by Hashem Hashem picks the leaders not us you think he gives you the illusion that you're voting for him it's an illusion that we are in control of our destiny it's an illusion that we voted for Obama or Netanyahu or uh whoever is in control all over the world it's an illusion that it's our control but hasem specifically writes in the Tor the leaders are his control par par we had just a few weeks ago we talked about par and how much torture he put us through and how much of a rash he was and how much he hated us and how much he did everything he possibly could to make our life a living hell and actually my cousin God bless him he's actually right writing a book showing that everything we went through in Egypt is identical to what we went through when in the Holocaust identical everything that the rash Hitler did did he learned from his teacher everything all the Suffering The Killing of the children and all of the many many many many things not to make anyone sad here but all of the things we went through is already happened this is not new why cuz AEM hardened his heart Hashem Harden his heart hasem was in control of him and that's the reason why when Hashem killed all of the Egyptians he left PA alive because he took control of him because he took away his free choice he let him live it wasn't because he wanted him to see what Hashem did who does he to that hasem is going to care that he's going to see what he did to Egypt he already saw what he did even before the Red Sea even before he killed all of his soldiers and everyone else you already destroyed the country you already made them from number one to number zero so you already destroyed him before that why did he keep him alive because he took away his free choice and that's the key so the leaders that we have today you don't need to necessarily break any sweats or lose any sleep about what they're saying and what they're doing everything is in the hands of Hashem we can try our best effort but in reality our best effort should really involve the to and living as the Torah says that's that's really the goal in life it's not voting or convincing other people that one leader over another is a r one of them is good none of that is really relevant to real life so the par starts with he meaning AEM called to Moses and Hashem spoke to him from the tent of meaning saying speak to the children of Israel and say to them when a man among you brings an offering this is the Corban to Hashem from animals from the cattle or from the flock shall you bring your offering so now is a very interesting things when when you read the Torah scroll inet it doesn't use Nik it doesn't use vowels in Hebrew unlike English that has a vowel system which is letter based AE i o u and sometimes y are the vowels meaning the vowels are the foundation of every word meaning that there cannot be a word in the English language that does not have one of those letters either a e i or u and sometimes it's y but it has to have one of those letters meaning that just like for example if you have a building in order for the building to have 50 floors or even one floor or two floors it has to have a foundation every building doesn't matter if it's a tall building short building a triangular building a square building doesn't matter what kind of building every structure has to have a found foundation in the English language the foundation is comprised of letters that's the foundation of every word it's comprised of letters in Hebrew which is called Kesh which is the holy language is the only language that was created by God it wasn't created by men like English or Spanish or other languages or at least improvised by people um the Hebrew language does not have letters as the foundation of each word it has something called nik nik is these little dots that you see that give you the ability to pronunciate the uh to pronounce the word whether it's C or C A or E so the word each letter has a point or a dash at somewhere or another telling you how to pronunciate the word and that is technically The Vow system in Hebrew why do we say this because the vow system is technically the only way that you will know how to read the word and this is actually one of the proofs we've gone over in past weeks of the oral Torah the and the rest of the oral Torah showing that it's valid and showing that it's divine and showing that it cannot be written by man because the written tah that pretty much most of the world believes in whether they're Jewish Christian Arabs they all believe that the tah they call it Tora sometimes they call Old Testament they call the Bible whatever they call it to us it's Tora as Jews they say yeah we believe in the written Tor but we don't believe in this oral Tor this and all of these other books nah we don't believe in that stuff we believe what hasem wrote the problem with that argument is that if it wasn't for the oral Torah we would not be able to know how to read the written Torah what do I mean part of the oral T is something called a codex in Hebrew it's called K the K is a book that is actually the Torah the written Torah with Nik if you go to Every Shabbat they open in Monday and Thursday as well they open the Torah the Torah is always has to be a scroll and if you look at it you see there's never any Nik there's never any points there's no exclamation points there's no commas there's no periods you don't know when to start you don't know when to end the sentence and this makes a very big difference if I if hasem says hasem loves the sadik and the rash he will kill okay now if I said that sentence completely and you knew that after the word kill you're supposed to end the sentence that means one thing but if you don't know where the point is you don't know where the period is and it says you're going to decide to read the sentence differently you're going to sayem lovesik and and the word kills is a new sentence so anyone that's reading to can say oh he lives he loves everyone the same he loves aad he loves the he loves everybody I can do whatever I want take this keep throw it over there what do I need all this stuff for so the Nik The Vow system in Hebrew is everything so you can't tell me that Hey listen I only I only want to read the Tora this all you know gave us a mount the the Z the Codex all these other things it's not for me what do you mean not for you you cannot read this you cannot understand one sentence one word without the oral tah so sometimes the scroll the Torah scroll has miniature letters meaning that one of the letters in one of the words is smaller than the other letters so the first word in this this week's is HEM called to Moses hem called to him he made an announcement it wasn't not every par starts with hem Called Moses it usually says Hashem told Moses to say something but here hasem is calling Moses meaning he's making he's giving him a prophecy he's giving him private information exclusive information the only other time that we see it is when hasem talks to the prophet bam bam is a rash but he's a prophet he's one of the people that hasem created as a counter to Moshe meaning for everything good that hasem created he created bad for everything powerful he created something weak for everything there is a opposite there's up there's down there's low there's High there's uh big there's small everything has an opposite now created this person by name of bam who was a prophet who knew the the says that he's the only one who knew when Hashem has his moment of anger during the day Hashem has hasem in essence Is Not a Human Being he doesn't have the feelings we have or the thoughts we have but for better you know for lack of a better word we explain it as AEM has a moment during the day during during the day that he's angry how long is AA how long is a moment as long as it takes you to say a moment that's how long a moment is that's how the explains it and Bam knew when that specific time was why is it so why who cares about where this moment is okay so he know hasm is angry big deal because bam was able able to get this information and anything he would say at that moment he would ask for from Hashem and usually it would be a curse would happen hem would give him the power to do it this was a power that Hashem did not give MOS even the greatest of all prophets the biggest of the big the king did not have this power which means that if bam said knew that moment that the uh that he was hem was angry and he said destroy Israel technically Hashem would destroy Israel and he actually tried we'll see it in a few a few more chapters we'll see that actually bam does a deal with a another king called balak and they make an agreement where he does try to destroy Israel and hasm turns his words into B and that's actually why in our uh in our T every day in our you'll see at the end of your in there's usually this uh section that talks about the 13 principles of faith and 10 remembrances and in there it says to remember what balak and Bam tried to do to is and Hashem didn't allow if you don't know the story and you don't know the details then it doesn't really mean anything to you okay so hasm didn't allow Bak bam who are these people don't know who they are technically Hashem created the world and he created these prophets with the ability to have prophecy he gave them a power the point of giving them the power is for them to use it but even at the moment that he was supposed to give him the ability to use it he stopped himself from doing it won't go into too many details but in essence how does uh in the physical form how does bam know when hasem is Angry is that the rooster has a uh crown on its head and every morning the crown whitens becomes whitened but with the exception of one strip there's for a moment there is a strip of red on the crown that moment that the crown has that strip is when hasm is angry and Bam knew exactly when that moment it's going to be a story in thear also says that actually there was a bigad big giant who had these uh gangsters always bothering him every day and he says you know what I know about this this trick I know about this uh this rooster situation and I know so I'm going to I don't know when it's going to do it but I know it's in the morning so I'm going to stay awake all night I'm going to stare at this rooster and the moment I see it I'm going to ask Hashem to kill all of them so they stop torturing me already so he tried doing it but M the moment came and he was already asleep so when he woke up he said ah Hashem didn't want me to curse them he wanted me to pray they do chuva and that's technically our responsibility as Jews we're not if we have an enemy we're not supposed to pray for them to die we're supposed to pray for them to do cha and there several other stories who was uh rebuked by his wife buia when may also had gangsters that were torturing him every single day and he started praying for them to die and bu wife which was a big big giant she was very very very she actually was smarter than some of the sages the male sages so don't you know that you're supposed to pray for them to live and do chuv and not to die and it's written in the so women that don't know anything and they say no the Torah I read like three sentences in my life it's a feem you know it's a it's a against women it's this it's that they don't know anything if you read the Torah you spend a half hour reading the actual you see that it's actually Pro women it's more Pro women than any other document written in history what other Pro women document uh what other uh document that's actually against women would write a story where a wife of one of the biggest sages in history is proving him wrong that shows the objectivity of the document it shows that it's true it shows that it's objective it shows that it doesn't matter who's right who's wrong it matters what's true and that's Judaism so in the beginning of the you have the word the last letter of that word is Al and it's a very small Al it's a small Al when Hashem tells this to Bam later on another he says he doesn't use the AL it means the same thing in essence he's calling him he's telling him a prophecy he's telling him a special privileged message but he doesn't use the ALF why because the AL represents that hasem wants to tell talk to the person he's talking to Moshe he wants to tell him something with bam he doesn't really want to tell him but Hashem made a law and he's going to comply with his own law when Hashem wrote the Torah he in essence limited himself and that's why anyone that for example says I'm going to sin here but later on I'll do mitv I'm going to stop keeping Shabbat I'm not going to do anything right now let me get married let me make a little bit of money let me do a few things fix a few things then I'll get to hem I'll be a sadik no problem number one you don't know how long you're going to live you don't know how long you live you can't say you're going to live to 70 years old you can't say you're going to live to 90 years old or 100 years old you can't say you going to live but you can't say you going to live till tomorrow we don't know the clock is up there it's not here so that number one not a good plan number two Hashem specifically says if you say that I'll never let you get to that time specifically tells you you say that you say that you're going to sin now and make up for it later make sure you won't make it to that time special punishment for you why because who do you think you are going to make AEM wait someone that came from a nothing from a sperm cell that's eventually going to turn into a a body that's a corpse that's going to be eaten by worms and maggots is going to tell the creator of the world to wait think about the logic of this thing doesn't make any sense oh no no Hashem I don't have time for you right now but let me let me make a little bit of money because it's in my ability to make money it's not you I make the money I get the wife I get the husband I do everything you don't do wait for me a few minutes minutes a few years a few decades I'll get to you in a little while it's not uh if you think about this for two minutes for one second you think about this it doesn't make any sense if you really believe in hem it doesn't make any sense so hasm tells us here I want to talk to Moshe but I don't want to talk to Bam so that's why with bam I took away the letter I told him don't add the letter but with Moshe I added the letter but Moshe the the biggest of the big the smartest the closest to Hashem Rich powerful everything you can possibly imagine is described constantly as the most humble and hasem loved him in a way that we only wish we could be loved Moshe was at a level we could only wish we could be a shoe forget him just a shoe if we were a shoe we're already in G M was humble even though he was amazing was very humble and he felt very inappropriate for him to get this special privilege that hasem is giving him that he's giving him this extra letter he's giving him this extra letter who am I he says I'm just Moshe I'm just a human being I'm nothing so he says okay I don't really want to write it hasem this extra Al why he's a prophet also Al even though he's a rash he's a prophet also no write the letter so mhe says okay I write the letter but I'm going to write it small showing his humility showing his modesty showing that even the biggest of the big knows how small he is in front of his creator teaching us one of the most important lesson that we can learn in order for us to have a connection with Hashem in Hebrew it's called Ana in Hebrew in English it's called humility humility to be humble to be someone that as great as your achievements have been as much money as you have as beautiful as you are remember where you came from remember you came from a seed nothing remember that one day you will be in a grave like all people and worms eat the body and the Soul comes out and the soul the real you who does it go in front of it comes in front of the king of all Kings Hashem and what are you going to say when you're in front of him Hashem I had a lot of money are you going to show your pride in front of Hashem in front of all the perfect other beings that hasem created all the angels that have never sinned all of the tadim that Liv the life we could only dream of what are you going to say Hashem I was so good-look that's why I went with a lot of women Hashem I was so rich that's why I bought five cars and didn't give any St up hhm I was so busy with the 10 businesses that I had that's why I didn't go to be or keep Shabbat or keep kosher or keep anything I had a business meeting hm you understand right you understand Hashem I had all this responsibility what are you going to say with all of this Pride that we have in this world when you go in front of the king of all Kings you going to say that you're such a big deal so mosenu the greatest of all human beings is telling us even him is nothing so in order for us one of the first things we learn about humility in this book path of the just I recommend all of you to read it a minimum of a 100 times and I'm not joking or exaggerating is that in order for someone to be humble is that they have to remember where they came from they have to remember where they're going to go in front uh eventually they have to remember who they're going to go in front of and have to remember who they're competing against just think about all the other great beings that we had when when was telling them they were complaining to them we don't have water we don't have this we don't have that so the Great of the generation said what are we nothing go don't complain to us complain to hem we're nothing we can't help you who are we we read his Psalms all the time in our prayers outside of his prayers do this giant mashia is coming from from the seed of is where the mashia is going to come it's not a just a big deal this is writes his and I'm just a worm not even a worm I'm nothing a worm he had money he had power he had wisdom he had a connection with hem we could only dream of he has a book that we still the entire world reads it not just the Jews everyone reads Psalms everyone reads T you have a book that the whole world's reading for Generation after generation I'm not talking about just just generation that somebody got rich off of Harry Potter or uh uh you know one of these other books talking about generation after thousands of years somebody else like that what said a I'm dust he said I'm dust I'm nothing dust so when somebody walks out with their fancy car and a fancy house and fancy everything and thinks that they're a big deal they should really compare themselves to somebody to people that were really big deal they really were big deal but in their eyes because they knew a lot more of the truth than we knew they realized that not so much not so much so the key is for us to learn that in order for us to have a connection with hasem we have to make sure that we're humble we have to make sure that we realized who we're standing in front of and in this book it gives you literally a uh instructions of how to get to that point this is an ongoing process by just reading the book you will not become by just reading the book you will read a bunch of words by applying what the book says you could change your life the other things that the uh explained this is probably the most famous mus book in history uh that uh again it's I think every giant that we hear of um has read this book countless times this is not something that uh is just recommended by one or two people or something like that this is a giant book and um every one of them will tell you that this is something that you should have as part of your daily reading you should read a page two page a chapter every day tells you how to how to be a human being how to get close to Hashem how do we get to a point where despite what Hashem gives us whatever rewards Hashem gives us we can remember to be grateful for it but also that we have we have a purpose it's not just for us to have a lot of money another thing that's interesting I'll read you guys a little verse here it says this is actually out of uh that relates to this I think that when the ram wrote this book obviously had influences to read to write every single thing that he wrote I think that when he wrote this particular paragraph I think he wrote he read this par that's what I think it's my opinion it's nobody else's opinion my opinion is not worth very much but it makes too much sense for it not to be this again I told you we haven't even gone into the pal I'm already talking for 40 minutes but the point is that anytime someone writes they have to have an influence from somewhere so I think that you know this is about and this particular paragraph says something about it he mentions he quotes the which is one of the tractates in the and he says something how great are those who are lowly in spirit when the BET mikdash was in existence a person would sacrifice a burnt offering or will be credited with a burnt offering he would sacrifice a meal offering and he would be credited with a meal offering yet he who is humble in mind is considered as if he has sacrificed all of the offerings possible as the TM says he quotes T 519 the preferred Divine sacrifices are those of the broken spirit so this talks about these different Coan people making mistakes and how they can repent for their sins something that we don't have the ability to do today we're not allowed to do we don't have the mikash orish or any of these things anymore we'll have the third mikdash soon and we'll have all this back but until then we're not allowed toot but in those days when people made a sin it would give a sacrifice sometimes it would be a a bull sometimes a cow sometimes a sheep sometimes a dove and there's different reasons for each one of them what was a dove dove of okay uh sometimes it would be bread for each one there's a reason but the point is that all of these not all of these sacrifices had a significance I made a sin or I Want To Praise AEM whichever reason it is and I'm going to give this kban so the gar is explaining that all of these corot have a purpose but someone that's humble that's that has humility is someone that's communicating to hem with humility is as if he did all of theot as if he did everything someone that prays to hem and talks to hem I'm talking about just talking your of course we have to do it I'm not talking about just that you do twice a day I'm not talking about just the occasional time we go to bees and do this this I'm talking about when someone talks to Hashem with a broken heart and starts crying to Hashem Hashem help me I have a problem I lost this I need this talk to hasem in your words someone who talks to hm and cries him with an open heart it's as if he did all of the K not all of the sacrifices at the same time that's something that we should take to heart so I think that one little bit of advice that I could give every one of you I heard this and I think it's a phenomenal idea I I read this from RAB M every day start like this you go to sleep at some point during the day some point everyone goes to sleep two minutes before you go to sleep two minutes talk to hashm for 2 minutes talk to hm two minutes let saying 5 10 20 minutes talk to Hashem in your language in your words Hebrew English Russian doesn't matter what language talk to him in your own words doesn't need to be with special prayers you don't have to say special name nothing talk to him like you talk to anybody else you could be in your pajamas or you could be in uh you know in your suit doesn't really matter I mean obviously remember that you're in front of Hashem it's not exactly great to talk to him in your towel or something but again talk to Hashem for two minutes do this for two weeks two weeks two weeks test two weeks after two weeks tell me if it changed your life um this is not a prophecy but by any means again it's not even my own advice but try it two weeks tell me what it does for you I'd like to see it I think it'll help you next thing is what is these kot what are these sacrifices why do we do it what's the point of them we already said again to repent for the sins but why why did hasem give us the ability to repent for sins because hasem wanted us to do chuva now as you know to do chuva is not easy it's not easy why number one you have to eliminate your own ego by saying I am wrong everything that I did until this time is wrong driving on Shabbat wrong eating kazil wrong uh being with a uh whatever men women same sex opposite sex not married wrong doing anything Hashem says not to do wrong it's wrong first thing is admit you're wrong first that's the first stage of Chua without admitting you're wrong there is no Chua it's not possible to do an honest Chua if you still think you're right what are you doing cha for it's like saying hey buddy I'm sorry I'm sorry I stole your money but you don't really believe that you stole his money what's your sorry going to do for him give him the money back saying sorry means nothing listen I'm sorry I stole a million dollars from you I'm sorry I'm sorry okay so give my don't say I'm sorry I don't need you're sorry give me my million dollars back so first you have to admit you're wrong that takes a lot of humility I am wrong first thing so to do chuva is hardem knows that we need help we need help we need a little push so he says I'm going to give you the to give you the direction to give you the way to do chuva you make a sin you admit you're wrong and this is your way I'm going to forgive you because you admitted it that's the first thing second thing is that we know that there is 50 levels of Kes of Holiness and 50 levels of T 50 levels of impurity when Amai was in Egypt we re reached the 49th level of impurity if we would have reached the 50 level there would have been no saving am it would have been the end of the world why because again we go back to the beginning the purpose of the world is the Jews the Jews observing the Torah yeah that's right 50th level 50th gate there's a 50th gate of impurity unrecoverable 50th level of Holiness that's our goal Hashem saved us from the 49th level before it got too late and when we got to Mount Si we were at the highest level we ever were unfortunately we sinned with the golden calf shortly later and started going down from there we went back up went down but point is that we never got to the 50th level in the days of mashia which again many believe not just not this is not my own belief only but this is do this is has been talked about for many years believe that this generation is the do of the mashia this is the generation that will see the mashia unfortunately one of the predictions that we will be in a very similar level of Egypt if you look at tum if you look at the impurity that we have in today's world it's much worse than Egypt if we could get above 50 we would be at 75 right now but Hashem obviously is merciful we say it every day so we still have hope is going to come and save us but we have to save ourselves first Soban how is this related toban Corban is four letters in Hebrew K bet no K bet a car meaning to get closer noon the last letter the numerical value is 50 get us closer to the 50th level of Holiness getting closer to 50 50 50an is obviously holy so getting us closer to the 50th level of Holiness that's again the root of the word in Hebrew it's also one of the ways that we know that uh the Hebrew language is the holy language because every single word has a uh a root a hidden meaning behind it and that's that makes it very very interesting moving on into this pal Hashem tells us regularly that every time we're going to bring one of these animals these cow the bull the Sheep we should lean our hand upon its head before we Slaughter it obviously the Jewish religion has a certain way of slaughtering an animal it has to be a very precise system the animal cannot suffer people that don't know much about Judaism and and Jewish Slaughter think that slaughtering an animal is worse than killing it with a bullet or something else but we've done it in other shim before this that it's a way that's literally painless for the animal why and I'll go through it briefly whether it's a horse pig or cow every creature has veins that lead that make the blood go to the brain that's how all of us function the minute that blood stops flowing to the brain the animal or the creature or the being becomes brain dead become brain dead they die they pass out and they die once blood stops traveling to the brain whatever it is dies that's why when someone for example but someone gets a heart attack they don't necessarily check the heart first they check the brain waves why because if the brain waves stop that means that the person's dead there's no recovery if the heart stops you could still recover okay so so long as blood is traveling to the brain there's still hope there still life in non- kosher animals which are specified by TOA who which other the non- kosher animals for example pig or horse or camel you'll see a diagram in the book that I gave you the science comes of age or the coming Revolution RAB zir coin put a drawing in there somewhere in the middle of the end of the book it's very very good it's very precise it's amazing actually it shows you that the head of the animal it shows you that there are two veins one on the top of the neck one on the bottom of the neck of the animal that lead to the brain the blood travels in those veins and hits the brain meaning that if you Slaughter the pig from the bottom he's still going to have blood coming from the top right which means that it's going to take time until all the blood empties out of his body and he dies which means that he's alive and suffering throughout the entire Slaughter but the kosher animals which Hashem said said there are specific signs the cow the uh you know the uh Cales the uh you know um sheep Rams things like that have something very unique about them which also proves that the Creator knows his creation he said these are the animals that will have specific signs that will make them kosher but the signs that he gave us are signs that we can see from the outside meaning we did not have to open the animal to see these signs that he gave us you can see someone that deals with these animals can know what they do it's very simple with their ho split hoves and so on but the sign that I'm about to tell you is not a sign that we could have known back then because we didn't have the tools we only know it in these recent Generations the kosher animals have something unique the kosher animals are the only ones that could be slaughtered in a kosal way which means that they will not suffer how will they not suffer because the vein from the top they also cow have also has a vein from the top and also has a vein from the bottom but something very unique about the cow for example is that before the these two veins connect to the brain they connect and they become one vein so when they're slaughtered you're only cutting one vein which means that you were immediately disconnecting the animal from it from the vein from the blood from the brain which means that the brain stops functioning immediately the animal passes out by the time the animal realizes that it's passing out it's already dead meaning that there is not even a fraction of the second that the animal lives and suffers this shows not only that kosher has something behind it it's not about just blessing an animal I remember when I was a kid I would have these uh these kids at school that would make fun of the fact that I TR I'm trying to eat kosher and you know we're trying to do things like no no come on give it to me I'll bless it for you come come I'll bless it for you cuz people think when you don't know and I didn't know myself I was just a kid I didn't know anything come come I'll bless the animal I'll bless the burger for you I'll bless the hamburger for you I'll bless the cheeseburger for you come on come that's what people think it's not just blessing it's not just rabbis it's the creator of creat of creations and he know exactly which animals he's going to put this specific vein structure in he told us those are the animals you're allowed to eat something something something that again anyone that has a hard time believing that the Torah is divine I think that that's one proof that's more than enough because again you have to realize there are more than two million species in the world so for someone to write a book 3,300 years ago telling you that these these are the only species that will ever be kosher ever all these smart scientists that think they're smart than smarter than a Creator they say no we could do this experiment and we could do this and we can make the horse look like a cow we can make this and we could make our own sheep we could do uh stem cell research and that research and this research and we're going to do we're going to create when no they can't do anything why because said these are the only animals that will ever be kosher you will never ever be able to change it that's one proof that's more than enough proof that anyone could research it for 5 minutes on the internet you can see it's valid so I think that's one uh one amazing thing another thing that mentions in this in this uh specifically in about the uh physical makeup of animals is that he specifically tells us to take out two kidneys out of the animal if this wasn't Divine how could know it's two kidneys now you can say what is kidneys kidneys a cot cot now you could say no okay anyone any farmer anyone that with a knife can find out that an animal has two kidneys what's the big deal but if science was right and we're all a one big explosion that worked out to be a phenomenal experiment and everything is random then technically it should be one animal with two kidneys one with three one with one one with 17 of them you should have three heads I should have two why are we all the same why are everyone's eyes over here and nose in the middle why is the mouth always here why is the nose right on top of the mouth give me one scientist that could explain that one scientist in the world that can explain why the nose is here and not here why is it not on my cheek it's still on my face so if you say that the nose is necessary for us to smell something then I could smell my side I could smell with my feet actually it would be much more useful if I could smell with my feet I can remind myself I have to change my socks I remind myself where I'm walking I remind myself when I'm walking the dog I didn't step on something so so so pleasant remind myself of a lot of things it's much more convenient if it was on my my feet why is it in the middle of the face because hasem says before you eat something I want to make sure that it's coer and I also want to make sure that it's good for you so I gave you a warning system before you put it into your mouth that warning system will give you an alert if whatever you're eating is poisonous or not if it's good for you or not you're going to know it immediately and the nose is again you smell food before you taste it if it wasn't important to smell the food before you tasted it it would put you would put the nose anywhere someone we have a dentist in in in in the crowd so I'll tell you another question dentist question what would happen if the mullers the big teeth change spaces with the front teeth these teeth will be that we chew would be in the front and the front teeth that we have would be in a side would our chewing process be the same we can't we would have to chew like this like animals do sometimes right but the problem is that since we don't we wouldn't have the cheek in the front all the food would fall out so we would have to eat like this we have to like like you know not not so pleasant we wouldn't be so attractive anymore right and if you wanted to eat you'd have to bring something to the back of your mouth and eat it like this again there's a design there's a design to everything just the teeth if the teeth were in the wrong place everything changes so the Creator knows it knows his creation so now hasem tells us we have all of these coote we have all of these different things there's a meal offering there's a Al offering elevation offering there's one off one sacrifice that is to praise Hashem why praise Hashem this actually the root of that is also all of these by the way all of these sacrifices today since we don't have the ability to do sacrifices we do prayers that's why we have because we don't have the ability to do sacrifices we do prayers now someone that uh is Rich has a lot of money what kind of sacrifice is going to bring to hm usually he going to bring the biggest sacrifice what's the biggest sacrifice bull bull is a big animal kosher animal lot sacrifices there's two ways of saying Bull in Hebrew or so if you notice in your uh Sid in this actually comes from the uh book of OA there's a prayer that says and so on and so forth so it says that creator of the world he gave us the ability to do this Coan not but obviously we can't do this cor anymore right so he says at the end of this particular paragraph and you said we make up for the Bulls through our lips meaning that not only is the prayer that we do the equivalent of the Corban but it's the highest level of Corban it's the richest one where where're we're doing a sacrifice of a bull you could have easily said it's a sheep or it's a dove but is like a bull it's like the richest man in in Israel he gave Bulls we giving bulls not just one many each one of our prayers so when you think about that when you pray that's what each one of these words mean something and our prayers mean a lot so why would someone want to honor AEM because honoring Hashem is the highest form of prayer most of us are used to praying to ask for hem for stuff Hashem I need a new car Hashem I need a new phone Hashem my tech system is not working Hashem my kids are rotten they don't want to go to school every day I have to torture myself every day and convince myself that they're really my kids just to get on with my day Hashem my girlfriend is torturing meem my boyfriend is terrible AEM you know we all complain every day no there's not enough complaints if everyone wanted to write the complaints that they have if all of of the sea was ink and all of the trees were were pens uh still would not be enough to write all of our complaints and we think that we're supposed to go to Hashem and complain to him he's our complaint box Hashem I need stuff you give me stuff and I'll be happy that's what we think that this world is for hasem to give us stuff it's the opposite Hashem already gave us stuff it's called life it's called a soul it's called existence the fact that you exist you already got everything you need you could breathe you could drink you could eat you could see you could hear you could speak you could think was a giant sadik named Evra Evra I told you guys a few stories about him in the past have a couple of stories I uh remembered evanz was a giant giant big any question of you could ask him wouldn't be a question that you didn't know as a matter of fact if you read the tanak one of the you know you have Rashi you have rash so if you've ever read some Tor you Read's interpretations so Ezra was a giant but he had no luck he said about himself that if I started a business of umbrellas it would stop raining if I started a business of hats people would stop growing heads and if I started a cemetery people would stop dying That's how little luck he had he had no money very very poor man so one day his students felt bad for the man I mean this is this is a giant sadik humble everything is so they want to help him out but he refused to get help from anyone you refuse he says if Hashem wants me to have it he will give it to me himself I don't needak I don't need anything from Regular People hasm wants to give it to me he will find a way to give it to me that's it so a student said you know what he's not going to take it from us so what do they do they took a wallet they filled it up with money and they said every day our Rabbi our sadik goes this route he travels this route to get to the Yesa every day so what we're going to do we're going to put a wallet on his path so he has to cross it big wallet thick wallet he he can't miss it he picks up the wallet obviously in Judaism if you know if you find something if there's identification of Who belongs to you're supposed to give it to them if it's a Jew if it's a non-jew you don't you're not obligated to give it to them but it's a k if you do give it to them but if there's no one there on top of that there's no identification there's no way for you to be able to return it to anyone you're able to to to take it for yourself so obviously they planted a wallet full of money so he's going to go on it he's going to find all this money and he's going to be good so they see Eva walking walking walking walking and they see him walking on top of the wallet and Contin you walking they're like they can't believe it I mean he just stepped on the wallet it's not like he missed the wallet he stepped on the wall but he continued walking so they start getting close to them start getting close to them and they see that he's closing his eyes closing his eyes so they couldn't take it they're like Rabbi Rabbi please please tell us why are you closing your eyes and he says to them my children you know this morning I felt very bad very bad for myself I haven't eaten in three days and my stomach is really hurting me I said to myself why why is hasem doing this to me why you know why why don't I have any food but then I realized Hashem gave me so much what if I was one of these people that can't see what if I was blind then I would really have nothing so big deal I don't have some food so I said you know what for chuva I'm going to be a blind person today I'm not going to open my eyes the whole day so he walked and he didn't see the wallet and when they told him what they did that's when he said if I started I'm just not meant to have money if I was if I started a business of hats people would grow you know would be born with no heads that's one of the uh one of the things that uh we can see that again if Hashem wants us to have something we will have it another story that I forgot to mention before it's a good story there was a uh a big giant named RAB AA eel not the same Raba from thear from couple thousand years ago aiger was about 200 years ago and was such a big that they say that if there was ever a question that he was not able to answer no one will ever be able to answer it that's how much know no one ever after him will be able to be alive and be able to answer the question until the mash comes was also a giant but also very very humble and you see this anyone that's a very very big Sage you also see always going to see that being a big also comes with humility why you would think that the more smarter they are the more Pride they're going to have I'm the smartest guy here I should have the most pride everyone should honor me everyone should praise me but what you see with the Torah is that these giant sages the more they learn the more they realize how little they know because the more you learn the more information you realize that there is and how small of a portion you really know someone who doesn't know anything thinks he knows everything why because to him very little is everything someone who knows a lot knows that the world is much bigger than him so he knows that there's a lot more so you when he Compares what he knows to what there is he realize he doesn't even know 1% so these sages always you're always going to see that each one of them was more humble than the other SOA eigel had a very good friend who was also not as much as sh but still a giant his name was ROV Melissa Melissa Melissa so when you have two sages coming into the same town it's a very very big celebration that's why you ever see like for example anytime RAB would meet any giant also would be a big celebration the town celebrates these people it's it's a big it's a big deal so there's one time that uh R and ROV got together and the whole city got together the rich people the poor people everybody got together celebrating them together wow we have these two giant we have the privilege to honor them so first they want to celebrate Shabbat Shabbat you know let's celebrate Shabbat what are you do in Shabbat you have alot you go to the Tora go up to the Tor not like today that they have anyone that's say uh anyone goes up to the Tor and just as a blessing even sometimes when they have a phone attached to their belt know back then they honored the tah like it's supposed to so they call eigel to come up to the Torah first and they seea pass out pass out fall on the floor pass out they try to wake him up please you're going up to the to passes out again wake him up come on go up to the toah passes out again several times this happened eventually after a few times of beov said oh I'll talked to him he whispers something in his ear he woke up and he went up to the tah so after the prayer I mean everybody it's the strangest thing in the world when we tried to wake up this guy 15 minutes he didn't wake up he whispered something in his hand he woke up what' you say to him was a miracle it's a something what happened here some type of Potion No no no because you don't understand AA even though he's a giant he's very humble when you told him that he's going to go up to the before me he was so ashamed that you think that he is bigger than me that you're giving him the honor before me he couldn't deal with it even though he really was much bigger than him he goes okay so what what' you tell him goes I told him I whispered in his ear no they're not telling you to go up first because they think you know more than me they're telling you to go up first because they feel bad for you because you don't know as much as me and then he felt okay with it and he went up to the tah that's humility later on after Shabbat was over the town wanted to honor RAB AKA and ROV and they had this you know in those days this horse and carriages not like today with cars obviously this is a couple hundred years ago and this very very fancy Carriage where it had rooms on the carriage and the town wanted to take them to the you know the uh the city the people want to take him to the next city so you have all of these horses but the people were like why should we give the honor of carrying these giant these all the way to the next city we want we want the honor so they release the horses and they started carrying them after a little whilea looks out of his window from his little room he sees these people carrying him goes this is not right they shouldn't be carrying me they should be carrying ROV he gets out of the carriage and he starts carrying also eventually they get to the next city so the people they don't even realize that RAB AA is next to them they he looks like another worker he doesn't know he's not guy's carrying I don't think that uhor is going to be carrying with them so they go look for his in his room they don't see anyone they go to R aov's room room and they don't see anyone then they turn around they see both of them standing next to each other talking both of them were carrying each other no one was in the cart no one was in The Carriage that's humility when you have a lot but you act small when you have AEM calling you but you act like the small Al and I think that's the biggest lesson we can learn in this par I I like that that regardless of how much we have small relax I like maybe another 10 minutes 20 minutes 15 minutes tell me whenever you guys fall asleep I'll finish but uh there a lot more to uh say uh but uh a few more things to talk about in the par oh if you guys remember a couple of weeks ago maybe two three weeks ago I mentioned to you that in one of the par one of the most confusing words in a Torah in our age is the word mashia the word mashia because people that either don't know Torah or have a hidden agenda we always want to use the word mashia as the go meaning the messah that's going to be sent by hasem at the end of times but tah has the word mashia throughout the entire tah and most of the time it's completely not relevant to the Messiah that's going to come at the end of times mhia comes from the word meaning to anoint when a king or a Coen was anointed was picked by hasem to be a Coen or picked bym to be the king there was a special uh uh oil that would be put on them so they anointed them so in this par a few weeks ago we said actually that when when it said the word mashia mashiah it doesn't mean that the coin was the mashiah it just means that hem picked him so it says it several times because we had someone ask a question because in that it said instead of mashia even even though I knew that there is a uh the the uh mashia in the several times but the point is somebody I don't know if it was one of you or somebody else asked the question if there was a uh a mashia and not just a uhia in Tora in this it's actually said several times uh that there is a mashah which again is important to know because when you have religions like Christianity Catholicism they're saying they have the mashia and they're trying to use our Torah in order to prove their own purpose one of the ways that they're using it is by mistranslating our words so it's very important to know what our words mean just because there's a word mashia in the tah doesn't mean that they're talking they're referring to the mashiach that we're waiting for it just means that it was it literally means anointed uh which uh comes from the root of the word to put oil on someone on someone so in this it says it several times which when they say a they're referring to the in this time okay so that's the uh that's one of the things are this thing so now another thing that it says is that if someone sins accidental sin shig then they could give an offering if that person is Rich they should do it within their means whatever is within their means someone is Rich going to bring a bull not so rich going to bring something a little smaller maybe a sheep but then it also says bring the doves doves turtle doves now when hasem tells us to to bring the bull when they're going to do the bull offering he says take out certain parts out of the bull skin the bull only parts of the bull are acceptable to be offered as a Coan understandable hasem only wants certain parts of the bull to be part of the burnt offering great we understand that not much to understand but when it talks about the doves he says I want all of it I want the entire Dove now anyone that knows even a little bit or just just common sense would say that if you burn the dove with its feathers it creates a very disgusting smell burn hair it's disgusting why would AEM want a terrible smell to be associated with him because technically we are not allowed to say if we are in a place that smells terrible and one of you asked me a question last week about saying a blessing in the bathroom if there's excrement there's parts of our waist in the bathroom still you're not allowed to say a blessing but if you have a bathroom the door is open and you're doing let's say d but there's no excrement there's no waste in the toilet you're allowed to say the blessing it's only the waste that matters not the toilet the toilet is irrelevant toilet is just a piece of uh uh you know Stone it's not uh no hasem doesn't care about the stone doesn't care about the water I mean technically if you're sitting in a I mean I wouldn't necessarily uh I'll pass on this just for another time the point I'm trying to make no actually you know what it's fine someone that's sitting in a bath someone sitting in a bath wants to take a bath okay you're in a bath for a half hour an hour something like that if you cover yourself you could actually listen you could listen to a lecture of TOA in the bath it's not it's not the violation or anything it's actually great bubbles bubbles not bubbles but obviously you cover yourself with towel or something but uh you could listen to it so again the bathroom itself is not like a cursed place or anything it's the excrement the waste that comes out of a human being that Hashem doesn't want to be involved in so if you go for example to a uh the fanciest waste management company in the world it's going to smell terrible but it's the number one multi-billion dollar company worth $50 billion you still can't say one prayer in that place why because it smelled bad smell affects the soul doesn't affect the body affects the soul hasem doesn't not want you to hurt your soul he doesn't want his name associated with you in a in a place like that so it's not necessarily the place it's the smell that's uh important so going back to this par hasem tells us with the bull I only want certain parts take out these certain parts I don't want them eat part of it burn part of it and so on but with the dove much smaller has hair I want all of it why this teaches us a very very very important lesson about Hem of hem and how we should be as human beings because our goal in life our purpose in life is try to act like Hashem that's the a sadik what is he doing he's doing what hem does I'm not talking about creation I'm talking about Behavior soem says I am in control of all of the parasa we all know that comes from everybody comes from hem someone loses money it's through AEM someone makes money it's through AEM that's it it's no very little explanation necessary for that I'm in control of p and I'm in control of poverty someone is poor it's because of me I wanted them to be poor there's a certain thing he needs to go through a certain obstacle he needs to go through certain ton certain reason I have my reasons for him to be poor I want him to be poor final that's it he's going to be poor in his life he's going to be poor for a year he's going to be poor for his entire life whatever it is Hashem decided he's poor he's going to be poor that's his T he has to be poor for his life or for a certain amount of time so he kid repent for sins that he did in his last life understood right but even when Hashem gives the person that tun of poverty or any tun but this specific one we learned from this par he still feels bad for him and he says I know my son who's poor he wants to give me everything look he even brought with the little money that he has he brought me a dove to do a Coan so to him I want to honor him and I want to take the entire Dove and not just pieces of it so he sees that his offering is no less and maybe even bigger than the rich man's offering because for him I only want part of his offering I don't want everything so even though part of the dove doesn't make the greatest smell Hashem says I want even that from him because the poor man that gave me a that means he gave it to me with all of his heart the rich man is not a big deal he gave me a bow I gave him the money he gives me one bow okay fine it's not bad but a poor man barely has anything to eat gave me a dove it means he gave me everything gave it to me with an open heart and I want to accept all of it and that's actually what we learned in last week with the K the the um the laern did I tell you guys this last week about the K last week we were talking about different parts of the mishan that we have to build for hasem Hashem said everything you know the the Tabernacle has to be certain measurement the mishan has to be a certain measurement the m has to be a certain measurement everything has to be very very precise the entire last couple of are telling us precise details of the measurements of everything that he wants what to do how much gold to put how much copper how much silver how many you know how how long how short how big how tall everything details except one thing which is the Laver the laern in Hebrew is K the K or the laern was a tool that was used its giant if anyone has a chance to go to Jerusalem there's a place that has replicas of the tools of the mikdash it's very cool very very uh very nice did a great job there you get a chance to see the manura the monora was one piece of gold it wasn't uh pieces put together it's one piece one in essence one Cube that they molded into a manora huge giant structure I mean in today's uh um gold prices would be worth many many millions and gold value only so anyway so this K had two openings of you know be full of water it had two openings one to wash the hands and want to wash the feet of theim before they did theban before they did any of the Holy work that Hashem said they would have to wash their hands and their feet they would have to purify themselves it's huge but Hashem said make it out of copper so not only is it not gold like the other things or silver like the other things it's the lowest metal I mean everyone knows that copper is less than gold or silver same thing today as it was back then but not only that Hashem doesn't give us a size any size whatsoever for how big it's going to be nothing he just tells us give me the co give me make the laern make it out of copper and then we're told that all of the women brought their mirrors to make this laern the mid explains that M didn't want this he didn't want these mirrors these mirrors back then mirrors weren't mirrors like we have today back then mirrors were a copper that was shined up and you could see a reflection from it so mosu said no okay a woman's mirror is not exactly the most modest thing in the world she's using it you know to make herself more attractive for her husband come on I mean it's not uh this is Holy work here I don't really want my woman's mirror my wife's mirror that she's making herself more attractive for me to become a tool that Hashem is going to use doesn't make any sense Hashem says I want this even more because of that I want it why Hashem says when am was in Egypt the men were tortured every day by these evil Egyptians and when you go to a rough time forget torture of Egypt today you go to a rough time you lose some money you lose some health wife is yelling at you husband's yelling at you kids are failing in school any problems countless problems that we all go through through our life you don't want to live one bad day you want to already leave this world Imagine going through Egypt every day tortured from morning to night they lost the they lost themselves they didn't want to live anymore so the wives would make themselves extra beautiful and as soon as the husband would come miserable beaten up tortured to the house they'd show him the mirror which you will see his reflection and her reflection says who do you think is more beautiful you or me why number one it would make him laugh and says if you want to start a you want to open someone's heart start with a joke I haven't been able to master that skill yet but you want to open someone's heart start with a joke make some laugh had a tough day obviously she's more beautiful so opens his heart the second thing is it would force him to look at her instead of looking at the floor being miserable you upset you always look down he looks at he sees how beautiful his wife is and he remembers there's more to life than what he just went through and that kept them obviously together and made them build a family and Hashem says that's one of the foundational reasons of why they survived and that's why they say that we were taking out of Egypt because of the women not because of the men and hasem says because they helped me you know for to understand they helped me save the nation I not only want those mirrors but I want all of them and that's why there's no measurement for the laern that's why there's no measurement for the Kio because he want Moses to know he wants everyone that that gives you one of these mirrors I want all of it use all of it because I want to make sure that it's remembered forever that they were a big significant part of The Exodus from Egypt and that's the thing that again in today's age a lot of women that don't know tah think that tah is against women and uh you know not uh not the greatest uh Pro women vehicle and a lot of people that are feminists are very very against the tah I think if they spent I don't know a little bit of time to actually read it from the beginning to the end shouldn't take more than a few weeks uh if not less depending how fast you read and and and just read the basic translation of everything you'd see that it's not only uh not what they think but it's actually the opposite next thing that it says Hashem says if the entire nation sins if the entire nation sins I want him to give me a combined offering if one person sins he has to give me an offering he has to give a cand by himself but if the entire nation made a sin let's say the sanlin the the judges the 71 judges made a mistake they translated something from the Torah incorrectly made a mistake people make mistakes and they told the people they were they're considered the eyes of the people meaning they translate the tah to the people they tell them what it is that's our rabbis today that explain to us what to do there are eyes in essence because we don't have time to study from morning to night like they do it's not our living it's not what we do one guy's a dentist another guy's construction worker one guy sells cars another guy moves company everybody has their life we're not that we study from morning toight the rabbis do so we expect them to know more than we do we also expect them to tell us the truth that's what we're talking about before this this sh we're talking about why it's really really important to learn the truth as hasem wrote it not as we translate it because it doesn't fit our life so Rabbi that tells us the truth is a very valuable Rabbi a rabbi that tells us what we want to hear is a useless Rabbi simple as it gets I'm not this not my own definition this is just what it is Rabbi tells us a rabbi that Everyone likes this is actually tell tells us a rabbi that Everyone likes is usually a problem why because it usually means that he's telling everyone what they want to hear and what people want to hear is not always what Hashem said sometimes what Hashem wants us to do is not exactly what we want to do it's the way it is so if everything your Rabbi says you accept you're either a giant sadik or a giant R can't be in the middle and the rabbi is a partner to it so we have to find rabbis tell us the truth how hasem wrote it so if the rabbis make a mistake which they're entitled to make mistakes they're still human even if they're Giant and the as a result of this mistake the entire nation sins hasem says I want the entire nation to give me a single offering give them an offering not every single person gives me an offering if they sin by themselves they have to give me one but if the entire nation everyone just give me one this is one of the roots of what we learn that is one Soul sometimes you see people we tell them listen keep Shabbat please hasem wants you to keep Shabbat I want you to keep Shabbat it's good it's good for you no no leave me alone Live and Let Live that's the famous quote you have your life I have my life you do whatever you want I do whatever I want I'm not going to tell you to keep your not keep Shabbat you don't tell me to keep Shabbat not keep Shabbat mind your own business unfortunately here is one of the places that we find out that that's not possible it's not possible in in Judaism why not possible AEM says when I created Adam he had one Soul Adam Adam and Eve that Soul was divided into 600,000 Souls but in essence the root of all the souls is one unified Soul the root of is a connection of one Soul meaning that when one of us sins we all suffer if one person does not keep Shabbat in the world we will all suffer because of it if someone is Rich and has the ability to help somebody but does not not only will he suffer but the rest of us suffer that's why one of the I think it was I may make a mistake in the name but I think it's one day found out that his wife bought the lot lot ticket was big wasn't uh as soon as he found out he goes oh I'm telling you whatever it is you have all of it I want no responsibility whatsoever I don't want any money any money you get that's it if we win the lot I'm telling you right now I don't want half I don't want 10% I don't want zero I want nothing asking why because you think I want the responsibility of giving theak and making sure that everyone that I have access to gets it because if I'm rich I have a responsibility to make sure that I help every single person that needs help that I have access to now you don't think like this all the time sometimes you go to work you see a guy he wears a suit you don't know that the guy can't pay his rent you don't know that the guy is laid on his car payment you don't know the guy is a real big sadik but you don't know that he needs money or he has problems you don't know but when you're rich you actually have a responsibility you have to help him meaning you have to go out of your way to find out who needs help and he says I can't and says I can't do it with all that money that means I can help more people I'm going to meet so there's no way that I I would be able to do all of that I don't want that test so sometimes when we pray and ask for hem to make us rich to give us which he will to all of you all of us and all of we're not always asking for it for the right reasons and going back to what we're saying before when we pray and complain to Hashem about all the things we need we forget that the purpose of our prayers is not to ask him for stuff that we need it's to praise AEM for giving us everything he already did reminding ourselves of what we already have and praising him for even giving us any existence whatsoever praising AEM is the highest form of prayer and that's why that you pray the first three prayers the first three prayers you're blessing AEM you know a you're you're telling him things that are obvious you don't need to tell AEM you're you know Reviving the dead he knows he's the Reviving the dead he knows he's the holy of holies you're praising Hashem because you're telling him that you know it that you're praising him it's like for example when someone says I have marriage problems why do you have marriage problems my wife doesn't think I love her do you tell her you love her she knows I love her but do you tell us you love her she should know it doesn't matter whether she knows or not she wants to hear it doesn't matter whether Hashem knows or not it's good to hear it and that's why prayer and praising Hashem is the highest form of prayer why because when you praise hem and you tell him all the things that you're acknowledging not that he didn't know that you're acknowledging that he's the greatest of great that he's amazing that you're so grateful for everything that he gave you without asking for anything I'm just praising you because I love you you hashm I'm in love with you Hashem you're the greatest ever I want you to know that I want you you to know it and I want to know it what does that do to a father that he wants to give you if you tell your father ABA I need this I need this I need this I need this okay father's like okay okay fine fine but eventually it's like okay here has $10 go away don't even ask me for anything just buy whatever you want but if you tell your father ABA I love you I know you work so hard I know you do everything for me ABA says what do you need buddy what do you need you you when you acknowledge how much he already does then he wants to do something for you and that's why it's the highest form of prayer and that's one of the things we have to learn forget about asking for Stuff just do what he says and acknowledge what he already does and you'll get everything you want you get everything you want you don't need to pray for p he'll give you P you don't need to pray for he'll give you hasm doesn't want you to die if if you're praising him every day why last couple of things and I'll let you guys go bem if someone going back to the humility issue this actually I got today from my cousin it's uh I think it's very interesting we read in all the time we have a the last talks about a a was a musical tool that had eight uh cords I guess they don't have it today anymore and during theote during sacrifices there would be people that would that would uh I think it was the Levine would actually played this very very unique very special music not only because it was to praise AEM but if someone that was a gan so was a very prideful person brought 10 Bulls wanted to show off and came to the Corban look I have all this money and I'm showing it off and I'm giving it to hasem no big deal that music The Holy music they would pray would break as soon as he got to the Corban would break his heart meaning that he would completely start hysterical crying that's what the mid tells us that's tells us that even the people that didn't have the purest intentions would still do chuva even if they didn't want to they would come there to do a Corban to show off that they could afford 10 Bulls this poor guy Misan can barely afford a uh a little Dove a little tiny Dove this guy's bringing 10 bulls and he say ah move your little Dove over here I got my 10 Bulls as soon as he gets to the Kim and they start playing the music which this music uh is a uh something Beyond any our comprehension it would get to his heart and it would start hysterical crying and actually do chuva at that moment so there's no way this is this is the holy of holies this is not like a joke this is not like some weird you know uh uh thing that they did in the corner and they gave somebody a little piece of meat and maybe Got a Blessing like you go to some strange guy and he puts a hand on your head and he says oh go go you'll be fine you'll have a kid next week no this is this is a holy of holies here there is a uh reason I mention this other than the fact that it's very very cool there's actually a uh Israeli singer it's very popular uh he sings a lot of uh depressing songs songs that make people cry but they're good songs his name is ofer Lev a lot of people like him a lot and some people believe that you know the levy the reason why I mentioned him specifically his name is levie you know mosu was a Lev so was Aon but Aron later on became a Ken even though they were brothers the the the uh the priesthood was given to Coen to to to Aon originally was supposed to be justu but then hasem decided to give it to Aon and anyone that came out of him so there are some that believe that the power of music is still held on by the levies and they get to if they're if they're if they use this skill they're able to get to people's hearts more so than anyone else can and that's that's one of some one Rabbi is very funny um I forget his name uh I remember his name I'll tell you guys after uh LLY lastly every lle he's very funny giant but he's very very funny you watch any of his lectures on online he's completely hysterical he's better than any comedian you could ever find hysterical in Hebrew he's very good he calls offerer Lev offer makes you cry Soh but again the believe that the levies have uh this uh this power of of Music uh that could reach our heart and I think that's uh it's interesting if you to to pay attention to this stuff last thing is about this Pasha is in regards to business I think business applies to all of us because every day we do business with people and we don't really know whether uh we're making the right decision the wrong decision so there's something called a guilt offering the uh Hashem uh the AEM um Hashem AEM yeah asham so this this particular offering is someone that thinks that they did something that wasn't wrong let's say they took somebody's money they didn't think it was a wrong thing to do later on they found out that it was wrong but they did it on purpose wasn't like a uh they took somebody's money and they didn't think it was wrong to take their money they borrowed their money didn't pay him back on time or didn't pay him back at all something like that soem says that when someone does improper business when someone let's say steals somebody else's money whether it's through a loan or robs them then not only especially through business they're not only sinning against that person but they're sinning directly against Hashem himself Hashem takes it personally and in essence the way the kazal explain it is a person that steals from a that does improper business is in essence denying that AEM exists he's denying that Hashem exists because he's saying that I am above the law Hashem gave laws I don't want to listen to them gave I'm going to take it away it's in my hands he's acting as as if he is AEM so if anyone is ever in a position to give someone a loan it's a to give a loan by the way it's not a uh you're not allowed to charge interest but if you're giving a loan to a righteous person someone that someone that observes the Torah it's about to give them a loan but if you ever thinking before you give someone alone if you have the ability to do it obviously you can't force yourself to me you can't not pay your rent because you're giving somebody a loan that's not uh you can't put yourself in Jeopardy for that but if you ever want to know if you're going to get the money back before you give the loan you have to find out if the person has fear of a god fear of God why does it matter if someone has fear of God your why if you give a loan to someone that doesn't fear God an atheist secular doesn't care does whatever he wants then what he saying is that he's Above the Law he is God he's his own God someone that's atheist is an Essence saying he is God he is in control of his own destiny he is the boss so who's the boss listen to No One he's the boss so if he doesn't feel like paying you back he's not going to pay you back and most likely he won't pay you back why is the difference when someone that has fear of God because someone who fears God knows that there is a boss and when there's a boss I have to listen to the bus so even if I don't want to pay this guy back even though I don't like this guy even though even though even though even though all the reasons in the world why you don't want to pay this guy back the boss says I have to pay him back and I'll finalize it with a story there was a it's actually in a and um very good story there was uh argument between two people about money one guy lent the other guy money obviously guy didn't want to pay pack so they went to the bedine bedine people respected the bedine back then people respected the toat even the evil people respected the toah so the guy that borrowed the money saying no I didn't borrow the money I didn't do this I didn't do this he's lying I gave it back to him already I gave him back the money already he's just pretending I ain't pay him back now the deim the the judges much smarter than you know judges we have today they know this can't be true because no Jew in the world will go all the way to bedine and accused that someone else borrowed money from them and they really got the money back and Su for no purpose it doesn't make any sense what is he suing him for if you already got the money back what are you suing him for it's no it has to be something so they asked the borrower to do something that even that doesn't even believe in the Tor will have a hard time doing they said put your hands on the tah and swear you did not violate the law that pretty much you gave him the money back so the RHA had a king he anticipated this and he gives it to the other guy to the guy he borrowed the money from he goes yeah here's my can here's my can hold my cane I got to put my hand on the he says I swear that all the money that he gave me is in his hands the guy that lent him the money got so angry How Could You Lie okay lying to me fine lying to the judges fine but lying on a toan he got so angry took the uh the cane he had and smashed it on the floor the cane broke and coins of gold flew everywhere was it canes canes coins of gold flew everywhere how what what's the explanation the r says all the money that he gave me is in his hands he was holding his king and the money was in the king so he wasn't lying but he was lying and Hashem obviously knew this and he made it come true and uh obviously he got his money back but that's the thing when hasem wants something to happen we have no worries it's going to happen our goal in life is to praise AEM in our prayer in our way of life being humble being you know having humility in our life and remembering where we came from and where we're going and when we get there the only thing we should be proud of is that we can take with us because everything else we have in this world stay see thank you very much I see you all next week not
