we have a an
amazing and you know it's viously called
which means
reward
um has an enormous
amount of when it comes to and it comes
to which in our generation is one of the
major problems that most people
have uh people that say they believe in
Hashem they believe he created the
Heaven and the Earth obviously they have
common sense where they realize that uh
you know uh Big Bang couldn't have
created the world you can't create
something out of nothing unless there's
a Divine being so they say okay he hasem
created the world he created human
beings he created the cells he created
everything but then they cut him off and
they say listen Hashem you created
everything but money you don't have you
broke they have a problem believing in
Hashem when it comes to money and this
is the excuse that they use when it
comes to working on Shabbat when it
comes to working so much that even if
they keep Shabbat the whole time on
Shabbat they're talking about business
because they're afraid that the guy
they're going to see you know neet
they're not going to see him during the
week and if he doesn't tell him about
the deal that he wants to do on Monday
he's never going to get an opportunity
like they never actually stop working
okay so maybe they keep mitv maybe they
go to beet maybe they even have a nice
uh fancy table for Shabbat to have a lot
of food but in reality they never leave
the Y they never leave the
weekday so that's not really keeping
Shabbat that's working but just without
going to your office and uh it's
actually considered Shabbat it's not the
same Shabbat as driving on Shabbat but
you're not allowed to talk business on
Shabbat under no condition you are
allowed to talk about mitv meaning you
say listen I want to uh invest uh my
money into building another synagogue I
want to invest my money into this
uh you know kiru organization to save
more Jews I want to make an event for a
lecture or a shabbaton you know that uh
is going to give to even though there's
money involved in those conversations
you're allowed to talk about it why
because you're planning a Mitzvah and
planning a Mitzvah you're allowed to do
but when it comes down to planning a
business deal that's not a
Mitzvah even if there's a Mitzvah that's
going to come out of this business deal
you still can't do it why because people
on the outside are not going to be able
to tell the difference so sometimes you
have people that could look 100% F you
know they uh Dressed apart they have the
black and white or they just have the uh
the
look they go to pray every day three
times first one in the store to buy the
uh best lul and the best for for sukot
all fine and dandy but when it comes to
shabbat it's not the Shabbat that it's
supposed to be
it's a business Shabbat it's just a it's
not really a Shabbat like it's supposed
to be so that's not necessarily because
they don't respect the Shabbat it's
because they don't have AA in AEM that
if they stop working the money is still
going to come
in then you have people that they keep
Shabbat they don't talk business on
Shabbat but during the week they have no
life all they do is work like I used to
be they go to the office early in the
morning they get there they work
non-stop by the time they get home the
whole family is sleeping there's no life
there's no Torah there's no learning
there's no nothing there's only work and
unfortunately there's a lot of people
like that where there's no day there's
no night and they just work and they
feel that they need to work they need to
work this much because the Yeshiva cost
x amount of money and the kosher food
cost an x amount of money and they give
all these different excuses of why they
need to work this many hours and this is
again same problem same thing noem
thinking that hasem is
broke so he created everything but he
has no money ran out of money ran out of
money he spent it all so this is
borderline this is borderline heresy
against hem which is not intentional so
it's not going to get the full
punishment Shalom but it's something we
all have to work on because in the it
says
in
andem decides what parasa you're going
to get on until the next R
sh until the
next but it doesn't include any money
you're going to spend on a Mitzvah and
it doesn't include any money you're
going to spend onim and it's not doesn't
include any money you're going to spend
on Shabbat meaning if let's say
say excuse me if it said let's say for
example somebody's uh destined to get
$100,000 this
year and um that $100,000 does not
include any money he's going to invest
on he's going to invest into his Shabbat
or into his meaning that if he invests
$10,000
on and he invest another $5,000 into a
Shabbat to make a Shabbat really special
and invest another you know $5,000 onto
his holidays to make to make them
special so technically he spent $20,000
out of the
$100,000 so really what he should get is
880,000 net after the 100,000 he should
have
80,000 but hem says no you were destined
get to get $100,000 that's what you were
supposed to get you're going to get the
$100,000 the money you spent
on and Shabbat it's not included meaning
you're not going to get
120,000 so someone that really believes
that this is this is oral Tora someone
that truly believes that is not going to
think twice when he goes to the
supermarket on Shabbat should I get the
yogurt that's $3 or the one that's
350 he's not going to think about that
should I get the bread that's like
really nice $6 bread or should I get the
one that's like a little homeless like
$150 it's kosher $150 should I get you
know three different types of meats each
cost I don't know $20 should I get one
it's enough listen we don't have to be
Glutton so when it comes to somebody
that's on Shabbat food's part of it
enjoyment if you know that bringing more
of that into the house is going to make
it more uh more joy more on
Shabbat and you really believe the you
really believe the oral Tora you're not
going to think about it twice about
whether you're going to spend extra
money on shabat or not and that's why
for example my
cousin when we went uh I mean I already
know this for a few years but the last
time we um went to Israel we stayed with
them and uh we go shopping together for
Shabbat and I see and I know how much
money he makes he's an he makes $500 a
month yes five
kids wife house $500 a month does
obviously none of those things cost $500
a month he needs a lot more than $500 a
month but the K pays $500 a month they
learn
morning night and night non-stop
non-stop learning and even when he gets
home he continues to
learn that's what gets $500 a
month if you work that many hours in a
in the worst job in America you'd get
probably $3
$4,000 uh that many hours but anyway he
uh
goes to the
supermarket One cart whatever he wants
puts it in the cart puts it in the cart
puts it in the C like no no you don't
need this we already have the other one
goes no well you like it looks good okay
get that too and just shops with no care
in the world I go to we go to get to the
cash register I think the last time was
maybe like
$400 almost a month
salary in a
week I'm looking
complete and the money is going to show
up I'm like you have the money goes I
don't
know I'm
like so you bought all this stuff we
bought two carts two shopping carts
every Shabbat two shopping carts full of
food you show up to the cash register he
gives them the card and it works it's
not a credit card debit
card go I'm like did you know how much
money you have he goes no I was you know
I prayed to hm that it's going to work
and it worked see let's go home
celebrate Shabbat like to him it's not
really like it's like this is it this is
how it's supposed to be if AEM is AEM
he's AEM all the time not just
sometimes so when someone really
believes the the Tora believes the
written Tor when Hashem says that he's
in charge of
everything you don't have you don't uh
think twice about spending money on
things that hasem told you to spend
money on whether it's or it's mza or
it's a uh uh Shabbat or holidays all of
those things cuz specifically told you
he's going to give you the money back
anyway so it's not really coming out of
your pocket he's paying for it he just
wants to see if you believe
it if we believe it 100% not believe it
like we're just going to try it out and
then you know get nervous once we don't
have money like 100% believe it you'll
see that there's M Miracles happening
Non-Stop on the other hand if you don't
believe it then there's a cost there's a
big cost of not having amuna the cost is
is that your life is full of
suffering having amuna is
heaven not having amuna is Gom in this
world problem is the space in between is
very very big meaning to get from no
takes a lot of hardship takes a lot of
test you have to over come a lot of
tests you you can't just go one day wake
up and say okay I have inem doesn't work
that way especially on something that's
so sensitive to this generation which is
money you know it's money is the it's
this generation it's this generation's
idol worship that's why I said in all
the lectures in New York and a few other
times in the past when people read
dollar bill and it says In God We Trust
they make a mistake where they think
that it's talking about the dollar being
God
but it's 100% true people work for the
dollar as if it's
God so you can't go from having no amuna
to having all Thea in the world where
you're going to be like r f and you're
going to go and to the supermarket
without even know whether you have money
or not but you're buying everything in
sight because Hashem said so you
understand so in order to get to that
level
of has to go through difficulties you
have to go through tests you have to
build it you can't go from zero to 100%
just like you can't go from being a
scrawny little kid to being a
bodybuilder you know if you uh if you
want to build yourself you want to build
muscles you want to look a little bit
like a gorilla fine God bless you I used
to work out when I was a kid also I
looked a little bit like a gorilla it
was a lot of fun while it lasted but the
point is is that how does it work how
does it actually
work is you go you start off with
nothing and tell you the guy tells you
okay lift 10 lb okay so you lift 10 lb
for the next 2 days you're in pain but
then you come back even though you're in
pain you come back why CU you got to
lift it
again okay next two days again you're in
pain you keep doing this and eventually
you start getting to the point where you
start doing it you know four five six
times a week
even uh but now you want to get bigger
so how do you get bigger you can't just
keep going and lift the same weight you
have to keep lifting more more
weights so now it's not 10 lb now you
have to live 15 lb then 20 lb and 50 lb
and you a house whatever you can lift
you lift but if you want to be a uh a
bodybuilder or you want to be a power
lifter there's one thing you have to do
that's different than a traditional
person that
exercises which is you have to max out
once in a while to see where you stand
meaning that you have to go to a point
you don't have to but this is what
people do um you have to I don't know
every few months every however long you
want to do it you just want to see how
what is the most amount of weight that
you can lift in one shot you know for
maybe two or three times or four times
like it's not considered really exercise
like there's not much benefit out of it
there's really more risk than there is
benefit CU When you're lifting a lot of
weight you're more likely to you know
make it you know to tear a muscle or to
uh drop it hurt yourself but in essence
what you're trying to do you're trying
to bench press the whole
gym in the beginning to 100 lb or I
don't know 75 lb then you go to 150 lb
and then 200 and whatever it is I
remember when I was a uh kid I was very
excited cuz I was able to lift 325 lbs
thought it was like the greatest thing
in the world today I don't think I could
I could lift 30
lb but when you're a kid you get
excited so why do you do it though
though what's the point what's the
Naina what's the benefit out of it is
that it tells you where you
stand okay so your body is changing and
you're lifting and this and you feel
good but that's not enough I want to
know where I stand next to the guy that
I was 6 months ago 6 months ago the most
I could lift is 200
lb am I better or am I the same if
nothing change like okay I have to
change something cuz in a gym just like
with Judaism
if you're not growing you're shrinking
can't stay the
same there's no maintenance like even
the guys that tell you no I only try to
maintain like the Michael Jordans of the
world they're not maintaining anything
their level of exercise is maintaining
the highest level possible which is even
harder than someone trying to grow
there's no such thing as maintenance is
it's either you're trying to grow or
you're not but sometimes when you get to
a high level it takes much more to grow
in the beginning it's easy to grow to go
from a you know 100 PB little kid to
being 125 or even 150 lb just 25 or 50%
increase in your weight seems like it's
like a huge milestone but in reality
it's not that difficult it's much more
difficult to go from 150 to
160 and 160 to 170 much much more
difficult why because already at that
point you've built something and
obviously as the uh levels go up so the
point is why do you do this why do you
do this max
out because you want to see where you
you stand so once you see where you
stand you know that you've either
improved or you deteriorated if last in
6 months ago or 3 months ago you were
able to lift 200 lb and today you aren't
able to lift 200 lb then it's obviously
doing something
wrong if you're able to lift 225 lbs
then obviously you're doing something
right so you know where you stand the
same thing goes with
amuna hem is going to continue giving
you tests
without you asking for them but to show
you where you
stand so in the beginning you first
start doing Chua it's little tests small
things do keep Shabbat eat
kosher so what's the test when you're
start first starting out you don't have
any uh you know you're at some meeting
all day and there's no Kosher food to be
found nothing you're
starving and everybody is going to lunch
because you have this meeting out of
town is going to lunch at this fancy
schmancy non koser restaurant you're
thinking to yourself I just started
keeping kosher last month I'm happy with
it but what am I going to do now I'm
going to starve until 10:00 at
night what am I going to do not going to
eat that's the question that's the
test you can
either go break become a again go
eat a uh Pig and whatever else is in in
the food and then you start and then you
feel terrible the next day or even while
you're eating it you feel terrible cuz
now it looks like the month or two
months worth of work has gone to the
garbage doesn't feel like I've been
keeping Kosher for a month and I only
broke it once you could say that to
yourself but you don't really feel that
way you to in your mind in your your
says you just started from nothing and
that's what the is going to tell you ah
you broke it you're worthless don't even
keep it tomorrow don't keep it next day
you're never going to keep it why you're
not going to have a meeting again so
that's your test
of or you could do option be he said no
I'm going to go eat
salad not going to eat with the guy's
non kosher I'm not going to eat the
steak or the chicken or the uh frog or
whatever food they have over there I'm
going to eat salad what's the big
deal I'm here to break some news to you
news that I did not know until I start
learning about the laws of
kosher in most
cases most it could actually be worse to
eat the salad than the
steak most cases it could be worse to
eat the salad than the steak so anyone
that's watching this right now it's a
new B Chua doesn't know what I'm talking
about thinks see this guy's crazy stop
watching it right now no but here's the
thing why
as Jewish people Hashem told us we are
not allowed to eat non kosher food part
of the things that are considered non
kosher food are
bugs when you eat one
bug it's six sins it's six different
sins you eat one Pig it's one sin you
eat non kosher cow it's one sin you eat
one bug an ant a fly doesn't matter a
worm it's six different sins
you have yourself a problem why you go
to this non koser restaurant they
manufacture salad like it's a uh like
it's free they give Everybody free salad
or it's part of this so they're not
Jewish people they're not worried about
bugs not bugs they wash it you know
right away one two three that's it get
it out of the kitchen already we need
more customers they don't have any
concerns or deals with AEM that they're
not allowed to eat bugs they're allowed
to eat bugs so they're going to wash it
quickly if there's a bug okay I'm sorry
sir we'll give you a new
one what's the problem why you making
such a big deal out of it okay so those
was a fly I'm
sorry okay so there's a little thing
okay we didn't intentionally put a bug
in your food problem is that if you're
Jewish you have yourself a serious
problem because now instead of making
One S you made six so people think that
they're being kosher by eating salad at
non- kosher
places have mercy on you because you
have no idea what kind of trouble you're
putting yourself in same kind concept
when you go eat non koser Pizza which we
talked about in a few lectures someone
goes and thinks oh no no I'm not going
to eat come on I'm not going to eat the
steak or the hamburger
McDonald's I'm going to I'm not going to
eat the steak of the uh you know at
McDonald's I'm only going to have pizza
from Domino's what's the big deal the
big deal is is that if you see in the
ingredient list of non kosher cheese you
see that there is an ingredient that's
comes from the stomach of animals most
of the time the the animal is pig CU a
cheap
animal so when you're eating non kosher
cheese whether it's a non kosher cheese
from dominoes and uh you know in Pizza
Hut or some other non- kosher Pizzeria
or it's just non kosher cheese that you
bought into your
house 100% of the time there's meat in
it so now you're not only making one sin
you're making several sins because it
mentions in the Torah three times not to
eat milk and
meat Hashem obviously didn't waste one
letter in the Torah there's over 300
4,800 letters in a Tor there's not one
extra letter in the Tor so why would he
mention the same exact thing three times
why you got bored because with milk and
meat you're not allowed to cook it
you're not allowed to eat it you're not
allowed to enjoy
it there's three different SC you ate a
nonosa cheese think oh it's not a big
deal it's just pizza what does it have
tomato bread cheese what's the big deal
cool down hasem understands me okay
understand you just made three different
sins at the minimum at the minimum is
three different sins so sometimes people
think it's not it's it's a uh it's not a
big deal to eat the neutral or what they
call Par of products but it's not par if
it's not Kosher it's not Kosher for a
reason okay what about
the what about the worms that are in the
meat you have yourself a problem it's
not
good uh so first of all just so you know
you could verify this
yourself Hashem told us there's four
different animals that can never be
kosher uh they have uh cuz for an animal
to be kosher like a cow or a deer or a
um sheep uh or anything like that
there's not only is the animal itself
has to be considered pure but also it
has to be slaughtered in a certain way
uh and they have to have how how is it
pure it has to have these two signs it
has to have split hooves and has to chew
its
cud so now Hashem says that there
are let's say maybe about 10 different
species that have have these two signs
and every other animal in the world has
no signs nothing it's either they have
two or nothing except four there's four
animals in the world that have one sign
the pig the herrings the rabbit and the
camel so out of all of the animals in
the world there's only four that have
one sign and he says those spe and he's
mentioned specifically who they are in
tah saying don't get fooled because they
have one sign everyone else you go to a
lion you're going to get fooled why
because he doesn't have either he has no
sign so he can never be kosher and it's
clear that he's never going to be kosher
because he has no sign he has nothing
but with the pig or the
rabbit it it looks like maybe it could
be kosher because it has one sign he
says no no no don't get confused they
have one sign but it's not going to be
kosher so the pig specifically is such
an animal that's hasem considers a
filthy animal he obviously created for a
different for for a purpose though um
and he says that this animal you're not
even allowed to grow it if you're a
farmer you're not even allowed to grow
Pig and the
uh Pig itself is considered a completely
T animal and and you could see it from
the meat itself it's the only animal
that doesn't
sweat doesn't sweat so for example
people okay it doesn't sweat okay so
maybe it doesn't get hot that's not the
case so for example if you know a little
bit about the human body you know that
when you sweat you are detoxing
yourself so when someone gets sick they
have
fever and when they're about to break
the fever when they're about to break
fever and they start getting healthier
they start sweating a lot so the sweat
is actually a good sign because the body
is taking out all of the toxins that's
in the body it's causing them to be
sick when a uh
uh dog runs a lot and then he has his
tongue out the reason why is because
he's sweating from his tongue he doesn't
he doesn't have sweat glands on his body
but the way he detoxes himself is
through his tongue a pig doesn't sweat
at all
ever why is this a problem because that
means that all of the toxins stay inside
the Pig
forever to such an extent that it's
completely 100% poison how do I know
it's poison go check on the internet if
you want and see what happens to a pig
if a snake bites it snake poison a snake
snake bites a human Shalom human can
lose their life within a matter of
moments without medical
attention a snake bites an animal most
of the time the animal is going to
die snake bites a pig nothing happens
happens why there's more poison inside
the pig's skin than the Venom of the
snake now how can we see this we're not
going to we don't have any spare snakes
and pigs running around our backyard
okay so you there's many people that
have made a video about this they take a
they take a uh a a steak made out of pig
you know the meat pork chop or something
like that and uh without cooking it
fresh just killed the pig I don't know
and then you know bought it from the
store it's
fresh they put it they pour Coca-Cola on
it they pour Coca-Cola on the uh on the
meat on the on the pig meat and within a
matter of moments moments all of the
maggots and the worms that are inside
that uh that steak come out doesn't
happen with any other
animal that's why they said don't eat
pig don't eat pig
but the point is is that when hasm told
you not to eat it he said it for a
reason it's a filthy animal can never be
cleaned so when there's when there's uh
the animal has some type of sickness
obviously you're not allow to eat it you
know if the animal is not Kosher it's
not Kosher for a
reason but if you bought it from a
kosher place you bought it from a kosher
Place reliable place
and something ended up being wrong with
it it's not your fault you an if you
have exerted all effort that you can to
make sure the food is kosher to make
sure that it's the Quality Meat and it
just ended up being you know something
wrong with it not that's out of your
control it's not considered a uh the
same level of sin because youve are sin
at all because you consider that new
it's not up to you
anymore you double checked okay this is
bet this is a uh you know this is a good
this is a good place it's not some hole
in the wall that's selling
meat from the back truck with a sticker
on it saying kosher and you're buying it
by a dozens because it's 50% less no no
you're buying it from a respectable
place
and you know that other people have
checked it out maybe you're not exactly
an expert
in but other people that you know are
shopping there okay fine no
problem right so there's no problem but
if you haven't done anything you haven't
checked anything you go to restaurant
just because there has a k sign on
it and you eat and you find out you know
3 weeks later there there was an
investigation the guy is really selling
tar the whole
time he's selling non- kosher animals
you're part of the sin why your
responsibility there's actually a very
famous story
about they had him when he was younger
they had him uh come and become the uh
the head Rabbi in
Egypt in Egypt and a few people would
complain about the uh the local butcher
the guy that was the main butcher there
and uh so went and he saw that this guy
first of all was a
hotthead angry person but second of all
he uh he looked at his how he's
slaughtering the animals the meat he
says this is T
took the kosher sign off of his wall and
told him you're never going to have
kosher sign
never no Chua for
you cuz you
knew that it's not Kosher but he took
advantage it doesn't matter as long as
I'm alive you're not going to have
kosher sign charge full price so charge
full price yeah but the point is is that
he uh the guy's
a he's making he's making people
non kosher thinking that they eating
kosher soya was not scared of anything
took his kosher sign says you're never
going to get it the guy tried to kill
him one day
Rya is a uh walking in a street and he
hear somebody walking behind him
footsteps so he turns around and he sees
the guy pointing a gun at
him walking toward his him with a
gun
soya opens his shirt he goes go
ahead he still never going going to have
kosher minut there was a witness seen
this still never going to have kosher as
long as I'm alive you're never going to
have koser sign the guy wanted to kill
him wanted to kill him but of course
protects him the guy got scared and
left years passed years
passed Raad went to
Israel continued going Malo Mala with
his Torah became much bigger one day
somebody runs into his office it's this
guy again with a
gun this guy again for this still now he
still wants to kill him came all the way
from Egypt comes to Israel wants to
kill says opens the shirt again he goes
you're still never going to have kosher
as long as I'm
alive the guy ran away
again point to point is number one
kosher is a big
deal to says when someone eats impure
food food that's not Kosher Tora
says you become impure means you become
impure but the word in the T that says
is missing the usual Al is missing one
of the letters that's in that word
usually how you spell
it so the kazal says there's a reason
why it's missing this Alf it's missing a
letter you could still pronounce it the
same
way and it get it still means the same
thing but there's a reason why this
elective like a silent k in English you
know when they say night and there's a
silent k which in English it doesn't
actually make any sense whatsoever by
the way why they have silent
letters but nonetheless it's similar to
that says this Al it's removed but it
still means the same thing so kazal says
why why did hasem take out the ALF here
because it also spells without the AL It
Now spells another word it
spells means andies makes you stupid
you eat non koser makes you spiritually
stupid you could still be the best
architect in the world you could still
be the best doctor and surgeon in the
world you could be an accountant a hedge
fund manager no problem it's not what
we're talking about stupid talking about
spiritually stupid you come to t you
listen for two hours you leave the
somebody asked you so what did you learn
today I have no idea you can't remember
one minute out of the sh but you were
there for 2 hours you can't remember one
thing from the sh I don't remember
you learn T you open a book you're
reading for an hour and a half somebody
asked you so what did it say I don't
know I don't understand what you're
reading for an hour and a half you read
you read you read 20 Pages hour and a
half you didn't understand one thing no
I don't understand makes you spiritually
stupid sometimes you can't even get to
learning meaning you open a book and you
fall asleep in two
seconds or you're just reading the same
line 5 hours you have no idea what's
going on
that's what that's what non koser food
does why do we eat non koser food one
reason is we don't know the significance
of how bad it is and two we don't
believe meanings that person that has
that went to that meeting started
keeping kosher a month ago like we
started the story started keeping kosher
a month ago now he's at a meeting all
day and he knows he's not going to get
home until 10:00 at night
he didn't bring kosher food with him he
thought there's going to be kosher food
in this place there's no Kosher food
whatsoever and he has to decide do I go
to the restaurant of non kosher food
with the
guys or do
I eat
nothing that's the first emuna battle
and believe it or not it's not a big
battle it's a very very small one a very
very small battle why cuz it's physical
it's something you know it's it's okay
so you don't eat go the vending machine
by potato chips that's
koser B potato chips 80 bags of potato
chips if you
want what's the problem eat a cookie
that's kosher or pretzels you can find
something find junk food that's kosher
that's it no problem but if you want to
have the salad you have a problem you
want to have the steak you have a
problem so that's the first emuna test
as a person grows
Hashem is going to show him listen my
son now you're keeping Kosher
for four
months you're good with kosher I have no
problems with you with
kosher but now I'm going to give you a
little bit of a more difficult test I'm
going to give you a business test and
they have a customer come to your store
and instead of paying you
$4,000 he's going to pay you
$4,900 he made a mistake
you made a mistake and you have an
ability to keep
$900
extra if the guy is Jewish if the
customer is Jewish you have to give it
back to them 100% have to give it back
to them not allowed to keep it if he's a
you're actually allowed to keep it
but if you give it back you'll do
K which is the
biggest the only purpose you
exist is to do
sanctify aem's name you don't sanctify
aem's name you don't find a way to
publicize aem's name and some way or
another there's no point for you to
live 100% there's no point you have no
purpose in the world you and the bug are
the same thing maybe the bug is even
better because the bug when he needs P
he prays to hasem at
least said what's the difference between
an animal and a human being
human being has an
option animal doesn't have an
option so this entire
par talks about a lot of different
subjects but a lot of it we'll see talks
about
parasa so one of the other things that
this par
also brings
up is how far we are from knowing what's
good most people think that they know
what good is they think that having a
lot of money is good having a uh you
know a a lot of material things is good
uh Fame Fortune publicity all of those
things are good even though they can be
used for good in most cases they're not
it's just the
reality but if you tell somebody listen
I'm going to give you a blessing may you
have many many kids
immediately if you go to somebody in
America they have uh you know they just
had a kid they go to Rabbi to ask for a
blessing Rabbi tell him may you have 10
more kids people like no no it's too
many it's too many no we don't we don't
have that kind of money so they people
think that a lot of kids like a
curse but this is what it says here
let's see
so translation this shall be the
reward when you herken to these or
ordinances meaning m is telling
if you listen to all of the rules that
Hashem put into this world all of the
rules of the Tora this is the reward
this is part of the reward you know we
don't have many parts of the Tora talk
about the reward right here first
paragraph of
this tells us what the reward
is If You obser observe and perform
these you know these mitv hem your God
will safeguard for you the Covenant and
the kindness that he swore to your
forefathers so here he's saying he's
going to keep the Covenant the breit the
deal that he
had with abah is and jaob and the
kindness so there's two different words
here he could have just said he's going
to safeguard meaning he's going to keep
his promise whatever deal the Covenant
is the bre is a deal you a deal with
abah and yob so if you follow the
you you do your
deal hasem is going to do his deal but
here m is telling us there's two things
first of all if you do it Hashem is
going to keep his part but then he adds
something he says and the kindness that
he swore to your forefathers meaning
there's what he owes you based on all
the mitv and then what he's going to
give you extra just because you did him
he doesn't owe it to you but he's still
going to do it for you that's why it's
called
kindness kindness is something you're
not obligated to
do he will love you bless you and
multiply
you and he will bless the fruit of your
womb and the fruit of your
land so here he's telling us he's going
to love you that's good he's going to
bless you that's even better but then
he's going to multiply you meaning you
have
children but if that's not enough says
he's going to bless the fruit of your
womb meaning he's even going to bless
you anytime you have you're pregnant
theem it's going to be a healthy boy or
healthy girl and on top of it he's going
to bless them
too and then later
on he says that
um you are uh May uh your males and your
females not are not going to be
infertile and even your animals are not
meaning everyone's GNA be able to have
kids in a natural way no problems couple
wants to have kids one two three no
problem you can have kids this is one of
the
blessings so he has given you no less
than three different specific blessings
or four actually Four specific blessings
about having a lot of
children this is the blessing you do the
MIT you're going to have a lot of
kids now you tell this to somebody in
this
generation they're not always going to
consider that it's like okay AEM one is
enough two and a dog is more than
enough four blessings meaning was going
to give you more and more we already
have a lot of people and uh we just we
have millions and millions of people in
the desert here the uh toah says that
one of the blessings that Hashem gave am
while we were in Egypt is that every
birth was six kids each time a mother
would give birth it would be at least
six
kids six kids this is you could see it
in is we did
on the book of Exodus the first Paras
goes into the mid and explains exactly
how it is but you know what since you
guys are here and I like you I'll tell
you
now um so
in when
um a wanted to make sure that am is
grows rapidly because we only came to
Egypt with 70
people yov came with 70 people that's it
70 Jews in the world or Israelites in
the world he wanted us to grow rapidly
we're there for 210 years naturally
you're going to grow to be something but
he wanted us to grow to become like the
promise that he made and yob we're going
to be like the stars we're going to be
like the grains of sand it's going be
millions of us
so it can't be in a natural way so what
did he do
in first uh the first in the in the
second book of the T in the book of
Exodus in chapter
one verse
six I'm sorry verse
seven it says in the children of Israel
were fruitful teamed increased and
became strong very very much so and the
land became filled with them so here you
see there are six
adjectives six descri uh words
describing how am Isel
grew could have just said and the people
of Israel
grew it a lot two words you have six
adjectives you have six words describing
how fast we grew and kazal tells us the
reason why it's six is because every
birth with six
kids so now imagine now it wasn't like
today where somebody has you know gives
birth one two kids two birds is too
difficult already that's enough we're uh
tying the pipes cutting this cutting
that we're not we're not having any more
kids so what
happens here they kept giving birth so
now every
couple of years another six kids so an
average family has you know a mother
gives 10 births in or 20 births if 60
kids 120 kids and then also kazal says
that
80% of the adults died in Egypt in the
plague of Darkness because they didn't
want to do chuva they didn't want to go
to uh get the tah so in the plague of
Darkness 80% of the Israelites died hasm
killed them
but their kids weren't rashim the kids
weren't Wicked so what happened to these
kids they came with the righteous that
left Egypt so now the family that had 60
kids now all of a sudden has 300 kids by
the time you feed them you're already up
to
dinner by the time you drove ABA I want
a t-shirt today IMA I want this dress
ABA I want a uh kab I want omelet em I
want pancakes by the time you get
everybody's order you need a track the
trailer to give everybody the
food every family has 100 200 300
kids this is why hasem is telling you
this is a blessing I'll take care of it
why this is why I gave them the
man you don't have to worry about
breakfast M comes to you to your kid
straight to your house you don't have to
worry about showers and dressing them
I'm going to have
clouds seven clouds around you at all
times you're never going to have to
change your clothes in 40 years never
going to have to take any showers you
don't have to change any diapers cuz no
one's going into the no one's going to
the bathroom 40 years no one went to the
bathroom once why because the man was so
holy it would be completely absorbed by
the blood system meaning the whole thing
will turn into blood now any food that
you eat a big part of it turns to blood
that's how you
survive Apple turns to blood steak turns
to blood especially if it's kosher turns
to good blood if it's Pig you have a
problem it's Pig
blood uh ice cream blood everything
turns to blood beastly blood everything
these pretzels that no one's eating for
some reason my wife worked really hard
to give you guys these pretzels Blood
also so uh his cookies is I tell her
don't give them anything but she doesn't
want to listen I'll just so anyway
everything turns into
blood
amen but the part that does doesn't turn
into blood becomes waste go to the
bathroom the
man was so it was food from heaven so
the whole thing turned into blood
meaning no one had to go to the
bathroom no one have to go to B so
Hashem took care of all these
kids so now if you tell
somebody that you can have a lot of
kids not everybody thinks of it as a big
blessing but then if you talk to couples
that can't bring a kid to the
world and all they see especially the
mother M the mother doesn't have any
kids she see all of a sudden all of her
friends have
kids she can't bring kids she's praying
she's crying the husband this they go to
doctors they spend tens and tens of
thousands of dollars trying to have some
type of medicine help them bring kids to
the world they can't bring a kid and the
little ungrateful parents that uh you
know want to don't want to have any kids
at all like no no we want to have fun so
you ask the mother can't bring kids to
the world what's the value of a kids
I'll give everything I have just to have
one
kid so you see a different
perspective there a story is a uh real
story there was a guy sadik lived in
Israel
and uh poorest can
be I had 15
kids
aad one day he says okay I'm going to
try to raise some money after you know
pay for these kids weddings one
day you know they don't always stay they
don't stay babies forever have to pay
for weddings you have to pay for Bar
Mitzvah you have to pay for all types of
things so he comes to
America to try to raise some money and
he goes to this rich
guy that someone introduced them to and
the guy the rich guy only has two kids
two kids and a
dog and
uh he comes there he says listen I'm
trying to raise money for my kids to get
married this that da da da and the rich
guy gets angry on
him he starts yelling at him he goes you
should be ashamed of yourself you're
rash he tells him tells thead he's a
rash because such an irresponsible
person who do you think you are you're
bringing eight 15 kids to the world if
you don't have any money why do I have
to solve your problem go
work go
work you made your bed laying
it sadik says you know what s can I
before I leave after he
got smashed in the head by this
rash with the words of encouragement
that he gave him I said okay can I
before I leave can I give you a little
bit
of goes yeah know go ahead goes in
the foundation of our oral
Tor page
30b it says there are three that are
partners and every human being the
mother the father
andm say so you see with me Hashem chose
to be my partner 15
times but with you only twice you should
think about
that partner comes back for more
business why cuz you did good
business he's not going to come back you
keep cheating him he's not going to come
back right but if you're doing good
business if he sees that your business
with you is profitable he's going to
keep investing with you he's going to
keep wanting to be a partner with you so
what he saying with me became a partner
with me 15 times with you twice you
should think about that
so the rich guy was you know maybe
wasn't exactly a big sadik but he wasn't
stupid so yeah he like okay okay I got
the point wrote him a very respectable
check and helped him
out the uh whole concept of bringing
kids to the world is very very difficult
if you have
NOA it's very very difficult because if
you think
that which is actually what it says in
this
week's meaning that Moses is is
warning that afterm gives
you all of this reward don't forget him
don't say that it was due
to was through my
strength and the results of my actions
that resulted in this
reward don't forget AEM because if you
say that you have yourself a serious
problem so when you actually think when
a person how's irrelevant to our
life when you actually
think that your Pala is going to come
out of your hard work you're going to go
to work you wake up at 6:00 in the
morning you work till I don't know 8:00
at night and really that's what's making
you
your it's going to be very very
difficult for you to justify having a
lot of kids even if you do make a lot of
money why if you're not making a lot of
money then it's an obvious it's an
obvious uh answer if I'm only making I
don't know ,000 or $1,500 a
week and I have already three kids which
in this generation is considered a
lot and I already know that each one of
these kids going to cost me at least
$500 a month just
fiva so that's already one week week or
a week and a half worth of salary then
you have mortgage then you have a car
then you have food how am I going to
live so if you're only making $1,000 or
$1,500 a week which is a lot in you know
in New York it's not not you know I'm
not talking about somebody that's barely
living somebody that's making $70,000
year a decent amount of
money he's not going to be able to do it
he's not going to be able to justify
rationally in his head to have a fourth
kid it's already a lot big stretch for
him it's already a big stretch for him
the fact that he has three for him it's
already three kids I'm already have a
lot
OFA on the other
hand obviously if he makes less money
it's even more of a problem and he's
going to have less kids most likely on
the other hand if someone's really rich
someone's making a lot of money
someone's making 100,000 a month 200,000
a
month he's definitely he's even less
likely to have more kids than the guy
who doesn't have money why because he
has to maintain this High lifestyle that
he has the $3 million house the
vacations the country club the all these
cars and all these toys he has to
maintain so for him I can't send my kids
to the standard Yeshiva $500 a month I
have to send them to the best Yeshiva
that's a few thousand a month in the
private tutors and I also have to make
sure he goes to all these different
courses and he plays tennis
and he's part of this club and that club
meaning each kid is going to cost him
300,000 a
year so for him it's like I can't I
don't I don't even have time forget
about having the money I don't have time
to manage this kid I have to work all
this all these hours just to make this
money now you're asking me to spend the
money that I'm working really hard
for on this kid that I don't have time
for
why who's this kid that I want to do it
for so when you don't have
it's virtually impossible to justify
having kids at all having some kids is
already a step in the right direction
having a lot of kids is virtually
impossible without having imuna because
you're thinking that everything is in
your
hands so Hashem is telling you something
different here he's telling you that
actually your real
blessing the real blessing that you're
going to get is actually if you do have
kids why because with every every kid
comesa every kid that comes to the world
has a check that comes with
him comes with him Shem says okay so
someone had I don't know someone has
four kids he's struggling to
survive every month barely they're
surviving the last penny was
spent nothing saved no retirement no
vacation no nothing they're barely
surviving but he has four
kids is why wife she wants to bring
another kid the husband is like what are
you talking about you want me to get a
third job I'm already working two jobs
that's another
check I already have I already have I
already have two jobs I'm going to work
another job I can't afford another
kid if you have full you know that
Hashem is going to bring that kid with a
check what he doesn't know is that that
fifth kid could very well be the million
doll check that he's been waiting for
his whole
life meaning that the wealth that he
wanted
his whole life you know that's why he
worked so much he wanted a lot of
money so the real money that Hashem
really wanted to give him he already he
was destined to be a millionaire this
guy but he had to pass a test an Amun
test in order for hasem to reward him in
this world and the next I'm going to
reward you with $5
million big customer Lotto whatever
there a million and a half ways for hm
to make you rich all of a sudden your
little tiny milk business becomes a huge
business somebody wants to buy it
somebody wants to invest in it all of a
sudden the little penny stock that you
bought for $100 becomes a blue chip
company it doesn't have to be just lot
there's a million ways to get rich
Hashem has infinite amount of ways to
get rich all of a sudden this ant you
never knew
existed decided she loves you and gives
you all the money she has after she she
died instead of giving it to a
dog they
bet so the fifth kid is the ticket the
sixth kid whatever whatever kid the next
one that you don't have that's the amuna
test there's actually a story a true
story about a woman named Rosa Rosa the
wife of the mo Rabon
tber who lived during the Holocaust and
she got the coin name she got the
nickname the woman that refused to stop
giving
birth she got the nickname why because
even during the Holocaust they were in
the Holocaust they we in the
concentration camps she still brought
kids to the
world 100% she'd go to the mik she'd
find puddle of water you know they make
a hole so she could go and purify
herself she could be with her husband to
bring kids to the world people look at
it's crazy what do you want to bring
what for for the Nazis to kill them
you're going to bring another kid to the
world for the Nazis to starve them to
beat them up to kill you to torture you
to do all this zah that they're doing to
everybody else what are you going to
bring another kid for 100%
amuna 100% amuna in all the years that
she was in the Holocaust she still
brought kids not one kids I don't know
if it's two or three but kids to the
world during all the years that she was
in the
Holocaust but she survived through all
this she survived all of it the kids
survived and they live to tell the story
to us who barely have a to go to the
store and eat K how many total kids how
many I don't know I don't know the total
kids but I know that they brought
several kids during the um during the
Holocaust it's unbelievable
unbelievable that's 100% amuna that's
100%
amuna so when we think about things like
this we realize that the
the level that we want to be
in of actually having
auna we can't get
there without
difficulty you can't get to be a major
bodybuilder without continuously lifting
more and more weight
can't maybe you'll be in decent
shape but you're not going to be top
shape without continuously tearing your
body
up it's no different with anything else
in life you want to be successful in
business you have to continuously try
harder and harder and harder doesn't
necessarily mean that you need to work
500 hours a day but you have to come up
with new ideas you have to be Innovative
you have to be creative you have to do
something that no one else is willing to
do that's the secret to success by the
way obviously Hashem but the point being
is that as far as our is our effort in
order for you to succeed in life you
must do something that no one else is
willing to do
simple as far far as you want to reach a
high level
OFA you have to welcome more
difficulty in the beginning it's going
to be am I going to eat kosher or not
later on it's going to be am I going to
accept this job or not because the job
that's going to pay me $50,000 a month
instead of the measly
5,000 makes me work on Shabbat once a
month is your Shabbat worth 45,000 a
month
it's big
test another one's going to be am I
going to marry the
righteous woman that's not the best
looking or the model that's not exactly
the most
righteous it's a life decision it's an
eternal
decision it's even more than
money in most people's
life the tests continue to get bigger
and bigger you have kids and you start
saying okay am I going
to
spend two hours with my kids and 10
minutes learning to or half hour with
the kids 40 minutes with the kids and
the rest of it learning
tah becomes more and more difficult it's
not easy tests become difficult is AEM
really paying attention to me because
I'm working really hard I'm learning Tah
I'm breaking my head to do all the mitv
I change my clothes I change my friends
I change my food I change my
everything but I'm struggling I have
health issues I have palasa issues
sometimes SCH issues nothing's working
where is this hasm you've been talking
about for all these years are you going
to ask that are you going to say no I
know everything is I know everything is
for the
good so that's
Thea that all of us want to
build must come with these tests if you
take it the good
way then you go up a
level you don't take it a good way
you're going to keep getting the same
test over and over again until you pass
it Hashem is going to continue giving
you these tests in order to do it how do
I know this this what he says in this
par
in chapter
8 verse 1 2 and
3 it says the entire Commandment that I
command you today you shall observe and
to perform them so that you may live and
increase what does it mean you may live
the dogs alive the people already alive
what does it mean to
live live every time it talks about
living it's talking abouta
hasem is telling you this world over
here you're going to live what 70 years
80 years 120 years whatever you're going
to live here a regular life is 70 years
okay so you live seven years that's what
you're going to do all these MIT for
these 70 years even the rash is going to
live 7 years sometimes or even more no
he's talking about is you're going to do
these MIT you're going to live
eternally for you live so every time in
the Tora it talks about living it's
talking
about and come to possess the land that
Hashem swore to your
forefathers you shall remember the
entire Road on which Hashem your God LED
you these 40 years in the
wilderness so as to afflict you to test
you meaning asem tortured you in a
desert for 40 years
why test you why is he testing us he's
boredem has nothing to
do he couldn't play with the angels or
something or is you know has a lean you
know a there's a Psalms we read and it's
actually a animal a fish it's called
latan and the latan is
enormous one of the midashim that I read
said that it's 973
miles long
huge and hasem originally created two of
them but then he killed one
and the reason why he killed one is
because he didn't want them to produce
because if they reproduced would destroy
the world and he left the second one
still
alive because that's what we're going to
eat once the mashia comes but there's
one of the T one of the Psalms that King
David wrote he says you have the Levan
so you can play with it meaning it's
aem's
pet the's
pet so how do I even get to this l
son but anyway so Hashem so this is the
uh weakness of a speaker doesn't know
how to connect things so anyway so
Hashem is telling us here that I
tortured you in order to test you why am
I testing you oh because of the uh game
with the uh angels that I said the
remark I said with the angels whym they
couldn't play with with the
angels hasem is not
bored is perfect so he tell he continues
the verse
afflict you to test you to know what's
in your
heart and whether you would observe his
Commandments or
not so here he's telling you outright
anyone that has a question why do I have
difficulty in life why is am I doing
chuva and my whole family is going
against me all my friends hate me all
everybody that I used to be uh you know
close with is telling me I'm going I'm
becoming too religious or the job that I
had as soon as I did chva I lost it or
I'm making less
money all types of things all types of
difficulties he's telling you exactly
the answer in this verse hasem is going
to test you in order to see what's in
your heart is your chuva real or you're
a
faker that's a real question are you
really doing chuva because you want to
get close to Hashem or are you doing
chuva because it fits your current
lifestyle that's a serious question
keeping Shabbat is not exactly the
biggest deal in the world by the way
it's actually a vacation every week if
you really think about it not keeping
Shabbat is the most idiotic thing in the
world for a Jew because not only are you
instead of keeping Shabbat you're
working
instead why would you want to work go
take get you're working all these hours
to take a
vacation one week vacation two weeks
vacation a year hasem says take a
vacation every
week what's wrong with you why you
working you're one of those guys that
goes to work when no one else comes to
work why so that's number one number
two if let's say you're not working what
are you going to do really on Shabbat
are you going to go to the mall you go
to the movies go to the beach you could
do all those things on a different day
you don't have to go on Shabbat
why avoid it because for all those
stupid things that you're doing for
going to the mall for going to the beach
for going to the restaurant you're going
to get
forever Eternal suffering in this world
and the
next why would you do
that you understand so that's the
problem when people don't keep Shabbat
that's why I always say there's no way
in the world that someone believes in
hasem and doesn't keep Shabbat it's
impossible there's no way that you
believe in hm and you don't keep
Shabbat meaning the one that's obviously
says I believe in hasm I believe there's
a Creator but I don't keep Shabbat how
could it be means that you believe in a
different God it's not this it's not the
god of Israel because the god of Israel
said whoever doesn't
keep oh he has too much pride no way
doesn't believe in
God doesn't believe in God doesn't
that's it's a can't have pride when you
really believe in God can't if you have
pride you're you know you have something
wrong with you the same God that created
you the same God is
responsible for every one of the
proteins in your body to work so you
don't get sick the same God that's
responsible for your
nostrils to work so you can breathe
properly the same God that's responsible
for your teeth not to rot so you don't
have a toothache that destroys your day
the same God that's responsible for
these balloons you call eyes to be the
best cameras that were ever invented and
will ever be
invented to continuously clean themsel
so you continue seeing by lubricating
the eye you know if your eye doesn't
lubricate itself on an automatic
basis eventually you'll lose your
vision yeah you could put the drops and
so on but eventually you're going to
lose your vision
so all of these little things for you
take for granted if you believe in this
God that did all of these things how
could you not believe in the part that
he says
Yash he created he created the Heaven
and the Earth and he stopped on a
seventh
day and he told you that you have to do
it also so that means that if you're not
keeping
Shabbat it's not the same God because it
cannot be the same God if you're saying
no no maybe it's the same God
but he doesn't know that Shabbat is an
obligation that's possible but it's
unlikely why is it possible and unlikely
cuz yes you may believe in a Creator
it's not exactly rocket science to
believe in a
Creator even a donkey knows that there's
a
Creator but as far as that Creator being
the god of Israel the one that's in the
Torah that means that you have to know
what it says in the
tah and the minimum requirement that
every person that knows that toah
exists must know is what happened during
the first seven
days you don't just Skip and go to
Moses 2,400 years after creation you go
seven days okay I'm the seventh day says
he created the
Shabbat so obviously you've heard of
what the Shabbat
is so you heard the Shabbat
what that you already hear that hasem
made the Shabbat very very
special so now back to the
point keeping shabat it's not
exactly the biggest deal in the world
when you really think about it meaning
that if you don't keep Shabbat it's
either lack of
belief or just a disconnect lack of
knowledge to keep Shabbat on the other
hand a lot of people are keeping Shabbat
it's definitely hard in the beginning
because you have to change your
lifestyle all of a sudden you can't go
to the mall all of a sudden you can't go
to the meetings which in in the
beginning it seems like it's harder than
what it really is after you start
keeping Shabbat and you treat Shabbat
the right way you realize that it's
really not that
hard but then you get used to
it become it's a nice day you take a
vacation once a week you go to besset
you hang out with the
guys hang out with the family eat a
bunch of food sleep maybe learn a little
bit it's a fun day it's a great day if
you actually treat it the right way it's
the best day of the week which means
it's not really that big of a deal after
a while you get a big deal reward for
it but as far as saying listen I'm I've
completed my chuva because I keep
Shabbat you cannot
say because in
reality what's what's so difficult
what are you really doing what self
sacrifice are you really doing for hem
by keeping the Shabbat he's giving you
vacation you're taking
it the company is giving you a vacation
you're getting paid for it too what you
want a raise for taking a
vacation you understand so Hashem is
telling you that these other
things
the the self sacrifice overcoming your
your your bad midot your mid of anger
you know your character traits of Anger
of stinginess of lack of you know having
a lack
OFA not losing your cool when life
throws a few hammers at
you that's what he's telling you that's
the part that's how I'm building you
shabbat is going to connect
usat's going to connect us we're going
to have a relationship once you keep
Shabbat we're going to have a a
relationship until you we have until you
keep Shabbat hasem considers you 100%
enemy says it last
week's my lovers and my haters so once
you keep Shabbat we're not enemies
anymore you're considered one of my
lovers one of my children I love you but
in order for me to get you to your full
potential my
son I have to torture you a little bit
have to build you up I have to give you
some extra weight you wanted to only
lift 75 lbs but I know how much you can
lift I know you can lift
125 so I'm going to give you 125 and
show you that you can lift it so I'm
going to give you tests that are seem
like they're
impossible but Hashem already knows you
can pass
it it seems like it's impossible but you
hasem is going to show you how you
passed it and that's say he's going to
build you
and the test that's impossible today
tomorrow is the easy
test you're wishing for yesterday's test
that's if you are glued to Hashem glued
to Hashem you're constantly looking to
grow so he's telling you I afflict you
to test you to see what's in your heart
and to see if you're going to be one of
these real B that's going 100% or you're
Faker you started keeping Shabbat and
that's it everything else you're still
doing
some people I know 20 years they go to
20 years they go to Every Rabbi you
want all the big rabbis they go to this
that everything still barely
keep they keep a few Basics they keep
Shabbat they keep this a few basic
things
but someone just started doing CH a year
ago and them same
thing 20 years they go
nothing changed they started and they
finished whatever they started with 20
years ago that's where they're at 20
years later but they went they could
tell you everything by
heart they could tell you where the mitv
is they could tell you with this they
could tell you that but they don't
really connect to
it so hasem says that in order for me to
know whether you're really connected to
me I have to give you some
uh tests
he Afflicted you and then he's giving
him an
example he Afflicted you to let you
hunger then he fed you the Mana that you
did not know nor did your forefathers
know in order to make you
know that not by bread alone does Man
live rather by everything that emanates
from the mouth of God does Man live so
the same words that we just described
where he says he's going to afflict you
meaning he's going to torture you a
little bit and give you difficulties in
order to test you why to have an outcome
of showing you to see what's in your
heart and then if he sees what's in your
heart he going to see if what how's he
going to see what's in your heart by
seeing if you're going to be one of
these Kim that's going to get angry at
God and stop keeping Shabbat and stop
keeping MIT or you're going to continue
keeping the mitv knowing that everything
is for the good and this two shall
pass and then he's giving you an exact
example of how this plays out say don't
you remember first he gave you the test
of going to the desert no
food then on top of it you went to a
desert you became
hungry why didn't he make you
hungry just so he can give you the
Mana he didn't make you hungry only to
punish you he wanted to see where you
stand he made you
hungry to see if you you going to go
back to
Egypt or you going to start praying to
him continue you start praying to him
what do he he give you the best POS food
that ever
existed for a little bit of prayer low
level CH that you did he gave you the
best bread ever give you Mana
bread bread that even your forefathers
abrah is and yob didn't have you even
got a reward bigger than your
forefathers in this
world to make sure
that you know that everything that you
have it's not from your
work it's not from your physical work
it's not from your
job it's from the will of
hem as he specifically says to make sure
that you know that not by bread alone
does Man live rather by everything that
emanates from the mouth of God does Man
live meaning if you're having
you're having a problem
believing whether you
have enough
P to bring another kid to the world
enough P to get the house that's closer
to the
synagogue so make sure that you go to
the synagogue every week and not once a
year on the
holidays because the house is half the
price you know some people buy a house
because of price not because
of
community you know so they will go to
community for example you go to this
community the houses in this community
are at least double the price as the
houses outside of this
community and this is the case in every
Jewish Community it's not just this
community there's nothing special about
this community versus other communities
as far as prices some communities are
much more expensive than
here but someone that has no amuna
whatsoever say why should I pay x amount
of money to live close to the
synagogue I'll live 10 miles from the
synagogue and I'll go to besset I don't
know whenever I get a chance I'll live 5
miles from the synagogue and I'll go to
besset you know when it's not that
hot the problem is you start that way in
the beginning you go to besset every
weekend and then it's once a month and
then it's once every a couple of months
and then it's once when it's perfect
weather and then it's
never why because of a stupid decision
that you're going to live a little
further from the synagogue so you could
save some
money someone that has
a does exactly what Yu did it said in
the Tora
whenu found out that his son Joseph is
alive he sent Judah to Egypt first he
said go over there and build us a build
us Yesa he didn't say go build us a uh
Castle build us a house says no no build
us a place to
study cuz that's what's
important build us a place that we
connect to Hashem with so when someone
is actually looking at things then he
starts realizing okay having these tests
having these difficulties that are going
to build me
it's for my benefit why because when the
time comes for me to make big decisions
like what house I'm going to move into
what community I'm going to move into
what school I'm going to go into how
many kids I'm going to have the most
difficult tests in
life I'm only going to be able to pass
them if I Ace all of the small
tests but if you're not acing all the
small tests if every time you get a flat
tie you get Ang r at God if every time a
check
bounces you're questioning whether the
Torah is real if every time you see a
so-called religious
person on the news for something bad you
question the entire
religion you're not going to make
it you have a question yeah is it wrong
to plan that and to save and to prepare
for the future no it's nothing there's
nothing wrong with it as long as it's
not destroying your
present meaning
that if you ask the highest level of
tadim whether it's uh from this
generation or previous generations no
they don't really plan you know uh they
live they do whatever they can their
plan is how much to are they going to
learn today for you
know um but standard people yes there
are certain things you need to plan for
whether it's to financials to make sure
you're able to Wed your kids or take
them to school and so on there's nothing
wrong with it but there's nothing wrong
with it if you still number one
contribute all
success today past and future to
Hashem and not your own two it does not
stop you from
being any more religious today meaning
you're not going to uh
eat less Quality Kosher food or less
quality
Shabbat or less quality holiday because
you're saving for retirement or you're
saving for college or something like
that you know so as long as it's not
destroying your present yes you're
allowed to plan but if your future is a
dis you know making your present life a
disaster then for
what who knows if we're even going to
make
it and that's one of the questions
that's very very difficult for People of
Our Generation to to look at if you
notice the world around
us no one thinks they're going to
die they
it the world is mostly secular and I'm
not just talking about Jews I'm talking
about people in general for the most
part most of the people in the world are
completely secular whether they're
Muslims or Christians or or uh Jews the
three major religions or maybe some
Buddhists for the most part people are
secular they may go to their church or
their mosque or their uh uh you know
synagogue but in reality as far as real
life they're
secular how do I know go to any
Christian
person any of them find 10 of them ask
all 10 of them what they believe they'll
give you 10 different
translations one Guy believes that guy's
J is achine another guy believes he's
God another believes he a sadik another
everyone has a different belief meaning
that they all make up their own belief
and they apply to their life the way it
fits so it says in the Old Testament we
have to be modest but that doesn't apply
to us it says in the Old Testament we
have to be generous okay I'm not making
enough money I'm only making $150,000 a
year when I make a million I'll be
generous so they applied the way they
want if it fits their lifestyle they
apply it if it doesn't fit their
lifestyle they don't apply it same thing
with the Muslims and same thing with
with the Jews so for the most part
people are secular so when it comes to
actually having real inem the Torah is
the only place that taught you how to do
it having faith means nothing just a
word like you know the Christians say
Have Faith have faith believe but
they're not saying have faith like
believe everything's okay they're just
saying listen we don't really have an
answer for you so just believe that
hopefully it's going to be okay to
actually says no no we have an
answer we have an answer but it's going
to require you to believe in hem to have
real in hem to see it play out instead
of seeing torture in your life either
way it's going to play out but it's your
decision of whether you're going to
suffer through it or enjoy the
ride it's your choice the actual
experience will happen
regardless the financial diffic
difficulty is going to happen regardless
the kids's not doing great in school is
not is going to happen regardless
whatever difficulty people have in their
life sickness and so on it's going to
happen regardless it's your
choice of how to deal with it you could
either have
NOA and scream hashem's name and you
know blame him for
everything or you could pray to Hashem
for Mercy but at the same time also
thank
him for giving you this instead of
something much
worse meaning it's your choice of
whether you suffer or not and
specifically tells you I'm giving you
the suffering to see what's in your
heart that's it it's it's not it's not
it's not a uh there's no two ways about
it and that's one of the most important
things that we need to to understand
when it comes down to it
in page
53 it says we are not allowed as Jews
we're not allowed to benefit out of idol
worship in any way shape or
form not only are we not allowed which
also comes one of the sources comes from
this week's
par actually in verse 25 chapter 7 verse
25 it says
it
says the carved images of their gods you
shall burn in the fire and you shall not
covet and take for yourself the silver
and the gold that's on them lest you be
ins snared by it for it is an
Abomination for Hashem your God meaning
that if you find an idol
you find an
idol statue of uh
JC statue of
Buddha any of these things that people
bow
to You Must Destroy it you can't sell it
obviously you can't worship
it you can't even use it for
beauty hasem is specifically telling you
it's considered disgusting to him
abomination
TOA is actually Abomination is like half
description of what TOA
is disgusting is really more uh more in
line with what TOA means Jews that have
them in their homes know I go to homes
every day and I see them uh okay the
problem they set him up in the entrance
on the table and he got candles next to
it it's ridiculous it's an idol worship
of mein so now Hashem is telling you
that idol worship you're not allowed to
benefit out of it in any way you have to
burn it you have to destroy it and
you're not allowed to even want to even
want the silver and the gold that's on
it let's if for so okay so you say
listen this statue some idiot made a uh
JC statue some other guy made a Buddha
statue it's all completely gold they
spent I don't know $100,000 on the thing
I found it let me melt
it that's it go sell it I don't know
give some staka
get some
CDs dollar CD $100,000 100,000 CDs can
make can make at least 10,000 Jews do
Chu no no not allowed it's a sin it's
100% sin it's 100%
sin why hasem said so says you're not
allowed to even want
it so now
thear this lead to the good
point says you're only allowed owed to
want it you're only allowed to to
benefit out of it if it was cancelled
out
meaning that uh I think this is M
yeah if it was
nullified meaning
if the idol worshipper
broke it and say it's not really it's a
meaningless Idol I don't really believe
in
it nothing then you could take the gold
then you could benefit out of it then
you could take the
gold but now you have to witness it we
all right but now here's the
thing
says if an idol
was sold or pledged to a Jewish
smelter meaning someone that melts the
uh this
smal all agree
that that nullifies the idol meaning
that if the guy
is uh melt you know is going to melt it
he's that's his business and he's the
one that's take buying this uh this Idol
that that cancels out the idol he's
allowed to if he's melting it he's he's
allowed to uh do it
but then there's one Sage that says
no if the smelter is Jewish the guy
that's going to melt it is Jewish it's
not it's not it's not allowed it's it's
not nullified it's still he's not
allowed to melt he's not allowed to um
benefit out of it we're not allowed to
benefit out of it so the says why
why if it's a that melts this metal
then you're allowed to benefit out of
this Idol why because we know if if the
is taking it he's going to uh melt
it no problem but if it's a Jew just
imagine this if it's a Jew Rashi says
the sage says it not allowed to why
because we can't trust the Jew to
overcome his yet and actually melt it
why because the money is such a big TAA
it's such a big desire that he's just
going to sell it to another Idol
worshiper he's not going to work it
himself but he says listen I got a
$100,000 Idol as an idol I could sell
for for
$100,000 as just scrap metal it's worth
maybe
30 so let me just go find another idiot
Idol worshipper sell him this JC statue
and that's it I get
$100,000 so it says if it's a jewan
Allah it's not lfi why because the
desire for money is M something
unbelievable it's m 100% idol worship
this is this is 2,000 years ago it's not
new in this
generation it's not
new
so when we start thinking about things
like
this you start thinking
about you start seeing that oura whether
we like it or not is running our
life in case we didn't know enough in
case we didn't take Hashem seriously
enough when he said the first couple of
times that he's testing Us in order to
see what's in us he mentions it
again in chapter uh
8 verse 16
says who feed you the Mana in the
wilderness which your forefathers knew
not meaning same thing we said before
your forefathers ab and yob didn't get
Mana in order to afflict you and in
order to test you to do good for you in
your end so this again reminds us of the
same exact thing that we heard
before which
is that Hashem is going to test Us in
order to see what's in our heart in
order to do good for us in our end what
does it mean in our end
in our end meaning after this
life but why is it mentioning it
again because this and this the first
section he's talking about
blessing talking about listen you have
AA you realize that all of these tests
are for your
benefit you're good to go you'll have a
lot of blessing but here in this
section it's talking it's a
warning if you don't
this is what's going to
happen says take care lest you forget
Hashem your God by not observing his
Commandments his ordinances and his
decrees which I command you
today lest you eat and be satisfied and
you build a good house to and settle and
your cattle and sheep and goats increase
and you increase silver and gold for
yourselves and everything that you have
will increase meaning hasem blesses you
you did some mitv theem starts blessing
you with
we're wor in this world you start
becoming rich you have kids you have a
good house and so on and so
forth but he starts but he starts the he
starts the verse he said don't forget
AEM after he gives you all these things
because that's what happens a lot
someone starts doing chuva someone
starts keeping MIT and all of a sudden
business starts working they get a deal
here a deal there they start a new
business they got a promotion at work
work all of a sudden I don't have time
for God all of a sudden god listen you
gave me all this money so I obviously I
have to work to keep
it saying you no no if you get the
reward don't forget God why because then
you go back to the torture again you go
back to having these tests and
why if you forget
AEM and go after the gods of others and
worship them and prostrate yourself to
them I testify against you today that
you will surely perish like the Nations
that Hashem causes to perish before you
so you will perish because you will not
have hearkened the voice of Hashem your
God he's saying if I give you all this
reward
you have a good life you're healthy you
have a fiance you have a new job you
have more
money or life in general
is not full of problems everything's
okay you're not collecting enemies every
single day everything's okay and all of
a
sudden you forget about
hem hasm says if you start acting like a
I'm going to treat you like a
meaning not just not a righteous but
a wicked
one these very same ones that I'm
destroying that I'm kicking out of the
land I'm going to do the same thing to
you
so now Hashem starts talking
about Moshe is telling us what hasm is
telling
us
that now that we're going to go you're
going to go into the
land make sure that you
know and you don't even think it you
don't even see it in your
heart that Hashem is giving you this
land because you're righteous
cuz you're so righteous he's giving you
the
land because it's not because you're
righteous it's because the other nations
were
Wicked and because he promised it to
your forefathers ofam and
yob so mhe is specifically telling us
here that hasem has
decided a certain certain amount of
reward to give to the
world this he this Treasure Chest full
of reward full of money full of good
full of everything someone has to get
it he has nothing to do with
it you're either going to be the party
that gets
it or the one that gets it taken care uh
taken away from them for every winner
there must be a loser there's no such
thing as just pure winner and someone
you know out of
nothing the guy that wins the lotto he
wins while everyone else millions of
people lost each one lost a dollar $10
$5 but in reality the one guy that won
the $500 million pretty much beat 500
million people or however many people
that bought the
ticket the team that won beat everyone
else
the stock that went up all the guys that
shorted it that went against it
lost the stock that went down people
made money out of the stock that went
down but it also means that the guys
that actually bought it for it to go up
lost there has to be a winner there has
to be a loser in all
things so he's telling you you got the
this land of milk and honey not because
because you guys are the most
righteous but because you have potential
to be
righteous because I that's why do you
have potential how how does HM know you
have potential because you come from the
seed of ab and
yob and I know that they were the
greatest human beings that ever
lived so you have potential to be great
but that wasn't enough because when you
were coming into the land you are you
were a uh people that were a stubborn
Nation so I'm telling you this to remind
you that it's not because you were
already righteous but rather because it
was a promise and on top of it because I
had to take it away from someone else
the go that were originally given this
land they're Wicked so why does it
mention
first the
wickedness and then the fact that Hashem
promised it to our
forefathers is to remind us first we
have to start
with and fear
punishment that's the first level of
first level of fearing the almighty
first level of connection to Hashem
first sign of
wisdom is fearing
punishment I'm not going to violate
Shabbat because I don't want to lose my
job I'm not going to violate Shabbat
because I don't want to go to Gom
forever I don't want to violate Shabbat
because I'm scared of getting sick again
and so on and so forth scared of
punishment there's no nothing bad about
being scared of hasem it's actually
admirable to a very very high level
already because most people in the world
are not scared of hem how do we know
look at how they
behave look at how people behave do you
think if people were scared of hem
they'd walk around half naked in the
street when Hashem specifically said
it's not allowed
do you think if people were scared of
Hashem they'd steal
even1 when Hashem specifically said even
the go not allowed to steal of course
the Jews are even more so you think if
people were scared of Hashem they'd act
like animals on a regular basis thinking
that it's
good obviously most people are not
scared of hasem so even having the
lowest level of fear of
hem but real fear of hem is already a
high level
I don't want to be like these Wicked go
that hasem threw out of the land he's
telling you that's already high
level then you go to higher levels of
fear of hem which
is fearing a disconnect you're not
worried so much uh on about punishment
all the time even though you're worried
about punishment but you're more worried
about hurting the relationship you have
with you have such a good feeling every
day that you talk to him you have such a
good feeling that you connect to him
every single day that you don't want to
lose that feeling just like a
relationship that someone has whether
it's a friend or a spouse when someone
has a very strong relationship they
don't want to lose it so they're not
going to do things they're going to hurt
this other person they're not going to
yell at their wife or their husband and
treat them like a uh like their some uh
you know
stranger or some enemy because they
don't want to offend them
because they don't want the relationship
to be
hurt that's a higher level
of eventually when you continuously work
on eventually you can get to a point of
actually
having you could actually get to a point
of having love of hem but in here in
this specific section it only talks
about and in
this you'll see something very very
interesting where it gives us the aware
the source of how do we know how we know
that comes before comes before love of
hem actually one of the many sources is
this
par in chapter 10 verse
12 it
says now Israel what does your God ask
of you meaning how much is hm really
asking of you guys like what is he
asking keep Shabbat keep kosher take a
vacation once a week eat eat food that
doesn't
have worms and maggots in it talk to him
every day and ask for whatever you
want what is he asking you really what's
the big deal what's the big deal of
doing some basic mitv learn to every day
stimulate your mind become a human being
work on your character traits you're not
an animal like a lion in the middle of
the
street stop being stingy stop being
angry what is he really asking you to do
is he asking you to climb mountains no
so that's what he says here Israel what
does Hashem your gun ask of
you instead of telling us now what would
you think the answer would
be well am should answer what do you
mean he's asking us to do the mitvah
Shabbat he's asking us to to kosher
all of these things you should give him
a list of 600
things but no mosu
continues only to fear Hashem your
God that's
it where's all the
mitv why he says what does hasm ask of
you he says to fear Him that's
it why doesn't say to love him
why doesn't it
say to do all of his mitv it says it
later right after it says to to fear
your God to go in all of his ways which
means to fulfill the mitv and to love
him and to serve AEM your God with all
of your heart and with all of your soul
and to observe his Commandments and his
decrees in the end of the verse says for
your benefit meaning all of this is for
your benefit but the first thing that it
mentions is fear
why isn't not love hem like most people
think in this generation most people
think that you're supposed to love God
first and
then only then maybe consider fearing
him but in reality if you already have
love it's
enough and this is one of the most
misunderstood things that we
have in our
generation Hashem is telling
us here in the Torah through m
if you actually want to get to a
point of fulfilling the
mitv if you want to get to a point of
loving AEM if you want to get to a point
of being one with Hashem connecting with
him on a regular basis if you want to
get to a point of having AEM in your
heart at all times where he's always on
your mind
if you want to get to a point where
you're not only observing his
Commandments and his decrees but you're
actually doing
it 100% with a full heart you're
enjoying
laying you're enjoying buying a that's
even more NAD more special you're
enjoying Shabbat like it's the greatest
day in in history even though you just
had Shabbat last week but every Shabbat
is the greatest day
ever you're enjoying every single mitvah
even when you don't understand
it if Hashem said it I already like
it you want he's giving you exactly a
map of where to get to you
go going all his ways meaning do basic
level chv become a
Jew then love him it's already a big
level then serve him meaning that Hashem
is with you at all times you're always
thinking about hem he's on your mind
your decisions before you steal or
before you do a deal you're thinking
what does Hashem think each one as you
can see each one is a high level each
one is a bigger
difficulty then he says observe the
Commandments of Hashem again well he
just mentioned observe what does it mean
here he says observing the Commandments
With Love full love you're enjoying
every single thing you got another test
you got another
difficulty I know it's for my best so
he's giving you a map of how to get to
be the ultimate sadik or sadik
but he says this step
one it's only one
step that can start all of
it fear
AEM no fear you can't go anywhere you
can't observe the Commandments you
cannot like you can't do
anything you cannot do anything without
fear of
Hashem and you could say listen no I
have a bunch of people that I know that
keep Shabbat or keep a few mitv they
don't fear hem
nonsense nonsense you ask them are you
afraid of uh
losing you afraid of G you afraid of
this everybody's afraid of something if
they're keeping some that means they
know there's a
God has to some people are always afraid
of
something to acknowledge that fear and
build on it is what we're trying to get
to here because once you build on that
fear you can get
love you could eventually get to loving
Hashem and eventually get to a point
where you know for
sure that all of these
tests are for your benefit
so we start the parasa and we'll finish
with this couple of
points we start with the parasa we said
that most of us today have no clue what
a blessing is and what a curse is we
think that the blessings are a curse and
the curses are blessings meaning people
are begging Hashem for a lot of material
even though Hashem is specifically
telling us that if you are going to get
a lot of material you are at risk of
forgetting
God which is not a problem that someone
that's poor usually has if you go to all
the poor
countries in South America in Africa in
different places those people usually
don't have a problem believing in some
type of God obviously many times it's
the wrong one but nonetheless they
believe in a god they believe in a
higher being poor people are drastically
more religious than rich
people that's just a fact of life it's
always been the case of course there are
some rich people that are religious and
and have and are even but for the most
part it's very very difficult test
that's whym is specifically telling us
here that after he gives you all the
this reward don't forget him it doesn't
say don't forget him after you have all
these tests only if you're really if
you're broke don't forget him he doesn't
say that say after you get all this
reward don't forget
AEM so it's obviously someone that's
asking for a blessing of wealth needs to
know they're also asking for a big test
which some people that know the
significance of that test like the would
consider it a curse
one
dayim gave his son a
blessing and someone overheard it he
says may you never be
rich may you never be
wealthy
says why wouldn't you want your son to
be
wealthy he could do this he could do
that he could do this go no I know what
my son
needs wealth is not a problem that he
needs so he knew
on the other
hand the blessing that hasem is starting
this par with several times no less than
four times where he says this is the
true blessing of having a lot of kids
you tell people today listen may you
have 10 15 20 kids in your house Mom the
mom might get a heart
attack we think it's a
curse so this shows us that we have a
little bit of a gap to say the least
between the will of Hashem
and our
will through
Torah we can connect the two how
so one time there was a uh Rabbi gave a
blessing delivered a blessing to the
through one of his students he says go
tell that I pray for
him to walk
Barefoot and carry many stones on his
heart sounds like a curse
so the student you know goes to his and
he
says got a bless I got I got something
from this other big
Rabbi but I don't know if I want to I
don't really feel comfortable sharing it
because why why no just tell me what he
said what he say he's a sadik he's this
he's
that so he says he wishes for you to
walk barefoot
and to carry big you know big stones on
your
heart says am in am in gets
excited student said okay please share
it with me why you saying amen sounds
like a curse walking barefoot like a
homeless person carrying stones in your
heart means
problems goes no you don't understand
he's wishing for me to be aen when the
mashia comes
you have to be
barefoot and you carry the big Stones
theen the stones of
the that's the difference when you know
what's a
blessing you know what's a blessing when
you don't know what's a blessing you
don't know what what's going on so this
was the difference between someone that
was and
us the um way that he got to it is 100%
to there was actually a really good
story um that's in a
mid it's also part of the oral Tora
there's one sadik they used to uh
decided that he's going to
learn all day every day that's all he's
going to
learn that's it not going to learn
anything else in thear he's just going
to learn this his whole
life and uh
one
day he went to his to the next
World and he had there was a funeral he
died but nobody showed up to the
funeral so the uh one this
woman comes to the uh synagogue and says
starts screaming at everyone this sadik
just died you have to come you have to
come to his funeral
no one knows who this woman is no one
knows anything you see this woman
screaming and yelling to some sadik that
died how dare we not go to his
funeral what's going on here she goes
from place to place yelling go anyone
that goes to this
sadik's uh funeral and celebrates it and
honors him like he's supposed to be it's
promised the next
World okay so a bunch of people go to
this guy's a uh
funeral at the of the
funeral no one knew who this guy was if
he's a sadik not sadik just know this
lady screaming that's
it people have seen the guy before but
it's not like today where anyone that
learns one verse in the Tora Mak sure
that he puts it on Facebook and
publicize it to the world that he knows
this
verse you know he gets a tattoo on his
arm to make sure that everyone knows
that he remembers this verse on by
heart some people are
humble so anyway people so it's just guy
okay so they went to the
funeral funeral is over and they asked
this lady like what are you to
him what are you to him that uh you
worked so hard to get she says I
am and
disappeared and disappeared and
disappeared meaning the mid
says that he studied m
think is behind
me yeah this
one he studied
this day and night and never left it so
much so that he became one with it that
hasem
embodied the an angel
obviously in as a as a woman to
represent this this
gar and to make sure that he has a nice
funeral
point being is that you have two
different
worlds and one thing connecting them on
one end we have a blessing that we think
is a curse on another end we have a
curse or at least a big test that we
think is a
blessing the difference between
us and where we need to be
and we don't necessarily need to be at
the level of
the we don't necessarily need to be the
level of bringing Angels that's uh
representing thear that we learned but
the solution is the same we look at what
hasem says and we start doing it fulfill
the
mitv make sure that we learn a Tora
seriously make sure that our chuva is
100% serious and not a half
half a
chuva make sure that we're serious about
hem and the reason why that you have to
do all of this is that not only do you
end up getting a reward for all of this
but most
importantly you get yourself ready for
what's
coming and what's coming is that whether
we like it or not is the
end it's either the end of days for
everyone or it's the end of each and
every person's days everyone's going to
die at some point and that's just to
finalize the point I mentioned before
the difference between our generation
today and people of the Torah is in our
generation no one thinks they're going
to
die no one thinks that's why you see
people like Kirk Koran guys 99 years old
he's still doing billion dollar deals on
a regular basis Warren Buffett I think
he's
89 88 maybe 90 years old old
guy one of the richest people in the
world all he has his
business I mean yes he enjoys his
hobbies and so on but the point is that
business is his
life and even though he may find joy in
it and he donates money and so on and he
could be a nice guy I'm not saying
there's anything wrong with any of that
what I'm saying is that these people are
operating in a way where they're
assuming that they're going to have
tomorrow they're assuming they're going
to have next year and 10 years from now
and 20 years from now because the deals
that they're doing they're not six-month
deals they're not overnight deals
they're doing deals that they only know
if they're going to work out in 10 20
years from now and no one's going to do
something for 10 or 20 years from now
just for the sake of it they want to see
how it's going to work out they want
they believe that they're going to see
the end of that
deal they are operating their life as if
they're going to live forever and that's
most people it's not just rich people
it's most
people no one thinks about
death and that's the difference when you
learn when you
learn
um you learn you learn you learn Torah
it's the exact opposite reminder of the
end is everywhere reminder of an end to
something to to Life as we know it is
mentioned by every major Sage is
mentioned by every major person it's
mentioned practically in every single
Paras something referencing the end but
the end is not the end like we think
well most people think that you know
once this life is over that's it it's
over it's very depressing morbid topic
it's not that they saying it's the end
of the first phase it's the end of your
job
here and then it's results what happens
next no one wants to think about that
point because if I'm going to be judged
based on the 70 years 80 years 100 years
that I've been living in this
world then obviously I have to start
acting
differently to make sure that I'm judged
in a favorable way
but if I'm going to think and act as if
this world is the only world then I
don't have to worry about
dying so that's the difference between
us and and uh you know as far as the
um T is that you have to always think
about the end now no need
to um depress yourself but you have to
look at it in a different way number one
if it's end of life then you realize
that okay if Judgment Day is
coming I want to be I want to be sure
that when I get up to the bed of
sham I have something to present myself
with I kept Shabbat I kept kosher I
learn to Li every day I
learned I learned I went to sh every
Tuesday I did this I did that I have
something to show up
with on the other hand if it's mashiach
which is in essence The Whole World's
Judgment Day
then I also have something to show up
with the only problem is that we don't
know when either one of those days is
going to
happen and that's why the says a person
needs to act as if the end is coming
every day as if he's he's going to die
every day and do
Chua before he dies so the the the
students asking them wait
but if you're saying that everyone needs
to do cha before they die how are they
going to
know when are they going to die she say
exactly that's what you must do chuva
every
day because it's not just in our
generation it's not just our own
personal life mission being over but
it's the world as as we know it and
that's why even a couple hundred years
ago when you look at people that were
really really close to hem like from
salant from salant when he would do a
uh prayer there a certain part of the
prayer that talks about
mashia one of the blessings talks about
mashiah before you did the
blessing that you know that brings the
the mashia brings the go he uh he would
look around he would open his eyes cuz
you're praying amid technically the way
he's supposed to do it you're supposed
to do with eyes closed so you have real
kavana which means you obviously need to
know by heart so anyway so he would open
his eyes and he'd look
around and then he would do the prayer
so one of his students caught him a
couple of times and he asked for why do
you open your eyes in the middle of amid
why you're checking to see if we're
praying we all praying we all you know
we're listening to you no Shalom I know
you're praying so why why do you open
your eyes he says I want to make sure
I'm not doing a mean I'm not using
hashem's name in vain and just wasting a
blessing goes what do you mean he goes
before I do the for the mashia I'm
looking around to see if he's
here if he's here then I can't do
the but if he's not here then I could do
to to bless ask hem to bring him meaning
he really believed that's way they
that's the way they lived he really
believed the mashia was
coming if we start implementing that our
own
minds that could help us get the that we
need this whole that we've been talking
about the whole day we can't get there
if we think we're going to live
forever if someone thinks they're going
to live forever there's no point for
them to fear anything live
forever they never there's never going
to be a judgment day not mashiah not
death not nothing if you're never going
to pay the bill what are you going to
have fear of hem for
so that's the most important thing that
we need to start learning about these
things start thinking about them because
sometimes it's hard for somebody to take
that first big
step without thinking that at one point
this is the this is going to be the most
important step that I ever took that
first big step you know you can't you
can't take the second third fourth fifth
step without the first step um
and last but not least one of the recent
prophecies I think I mentioned in in
another
Shure a few months ago continues the
story continues to develop if you
remember I told you guys that um one of
the uh
prophecies that's going to happen uh at
the end of times is that uh all of the
12 tribes will come
together 12 Tribes of am we only have
three right now
that we know of for
sure uh I mean Y and uh Benyamin we have
a little bit of
each uh but there's all these other
people around the world that we're
finding now that are uh claim to be part
of the uh lost tribes so there is a uh a
king in
Africa that
um is a what's called his
uh claims to be uh part of uh the tribe
of uh
e and bem he's converted to
Judaism he's from what I heard the
sadik and I actually saw I saw him in a
uh
lecture uh and
um a lot of the stuff that I heard
is real everything was verified there's
more to see but the point is is that
it's very very much real and
um but now the big thing is is
that his country alone has 25 million
people and they claim that they're all
Jews problem is that throughout they
have proof of 2,000 years of
lineage mean meaning they have proof all
the way from the BET mikash who they are
where they are all this stuff but
throughout 2,000 years they didn't have
the oral Tor didn't have they only had
the written Tor so they have they keep
kosher
they they keep a lot of the laws of the
Torah but not all of them because they
didn't have the rabinal laws they didn't
have the oral
Torah um and also there was a similation
and so on so the uh the big difficulty
now is that they're uh being asked to
convert they're being asked to convert
and they're saying why should we
convert we're
Jews so now this could you know this
this whole thing can turn into a big
problem but I heard a today
from that was actually uh very very good
that gives another meaning to
um to the book of Isaiah there's a very
famous verse
of
um of the book of Isaiah is very famous
chapter that talks about chapter 11 uh
that talks about Prophecies of what's
going to happen at the end of
times and uh that a lot of people heard
that you know they um chapter 11 verse 6
the wolf will live with the sheep and
the Lepard will lie down with the kid
and the calf and the lion would welp uh
the lion welp and
um and fatling will walk together and a
young child will lead them pretty much
in so many words the uh this is a very
famous verse especially Christians love
this verse but this is obviously from
our tah um it's says that one of the
proofs that mashiah is here is that
nature will
change meaning a lion is no longer going
to hunt for meat they're going to become
vegetarian things are going to come back
to the world of how it was at the times
of
um kid will be able to play with a snake
not without a worry he's you know a uh
the leopard is going to uh uh lie down
together with a uh with a kid you know
like all these different things that are
you know if you think about it right now
you know tiger sees a a little sheep
he's going to hunt them that's food it's
lunch so a lot of
people have some videos online of how
this is actually happening really
happening in the world there's actually
a lion right now in one place in the
world that killed a deer but then
decided to adopt the deer's baby so now
they've been grow he's been raising this
lioness has been raising this
deer for a while now like she she takes
care of this
deer which is completely unnatural it's
against
nature uh and then there's uh a few
other animals that are natural predators
or natural enemies are coming together
so until now I also
thought that um this is what's going to
happen Okay this this is okay the line
is is
not surpris what written in the T that's
what's going to
happen but I got I got told me another
today he says no no it's not just that
is that when you think about it
as it mentions in this it's it's a uh
it's a stubborn Nation two Jews 10
opinions you know that's why there's a h
joke it said that uh nine
Jews arrived in a Island deserted
island and uh they're hoping to see
maybe there's going to be a couple of
juicy or at least one they can make a m
they look they look oh they see two but
it not one but two two synagogues like
oh there's probably a whole few K over
here that's two right next to each other
and they see this guy running out of one
of them heyy welcome welcome to myet
like oh okay where where's the rest of
the Kil no no there's nobody else
here you joking with us there's two but
there's two synagogues here goes yeah
yeah I built both of
them ask why would you build two bit
Nets goes well this one I go to okay
fine you go to this bitet what about the
second one was no this one da I don't go
to this one on purpose I don't go
to so we're difficult Nation so now when
you say that part of the the way that we
know for sure that the mhia is going to
be the Mia there's going to be no doubt
whatsoever hasm is telling us there
going to be certain signs first of all
the sound is going to be heard around
the entire world without internet
without TV
without
uh necessity of
Technology that's one second of all the
Miracles that are going to happen at
that time are going to be bigger than
the Exodus
than so much so that in the book of
Jeremiah it says you're no longer going
to be uh known as the god of Israel that
took them out of Egypt but rather the
god that took them out of the land of
the North and the rest of the world
meaning that they
the ex uh the Salvation we're going to
have at the time of mashia is going to
be bigger
than and so on and so forth but one of
the main things that we're going to know
that the mashiach is here even before
there's peace even before everything
else is that he's going to uncover the
tribes he's going to bring everyone
together all 12 tribes all the Lost
tribes that are around the world no one
even knows who's Jewish who's not in
some places
there places in a jungle there people
saying in a jungle underwear they're
saying in
Hebrew there's pathans in Afghanistan 16
million of them they keep
kosher all these laws that only the Jews
keep 16 million of them there's
different places around the world
there's a lot of different people that
these are the Lost tribes but still
questions so one of the things the mhia
is going to do he's going to bring these
tribes but now you think about this wait
a minute okay bringing a tribes that
sounds great you got 15 million 20
million Jews today after he brings all
these tribes together we we going to
have half a billion people half a
billion
Jews serious amount of Jewish people in
the world
great but wait we we can't even get
along with our neighbor we're going to
get along 500 million Jews now 200
million Jews
so this nice thing is going to be a
disaster so we're actually seeing this
right now with you know
this issue that's happening with uh the
place in Africa where they're saying
listen you got has got to convert and
they're saying why should we convert
we're even more than you 25 million and
this king is a king of like 357 other
kings it's like a serious
King so here
here this
verse is telling us it's just like there
going to be unnatural things
happening where the tiger is going to be
friends with the sheep or the deer and
the kid is going to be able to spend uh
time playing with the boy with the with
the snake all these things that are not
natural same thing is going to happen
with people and it says here the
jealousy of Ephraim shall stop and the
oppression of Jud Judah be cut off ifme
will not be jealous of Judah and Judah
will not harness a harass a frme they
will fly in unison against the
Philistine to the west and together they
will plunder the people of the East
their hand will extend over Edom and
moav and their discipline over the
children of Amon so here he's telling us
this is chapter um 11: 13 and 14 15
he's saying here at the end of times not
only is the
mssiah going
to uncover the 12 tribes but just like
he's going to show us unnatural things
in the animal world where natural
enemies will become friends but even our
stubborn
Nation where each one of us gets into
fight ashkanazi doesn't like the
sapharic the ammonite doesn't like this
one the bukari and doesn't like that all
these things that we have there going to
be no more just like the animals will
act unnaturally we're going to act
unnaturally so it's it's specifically
talking about the tribe of aim and Judah
which are Judah is we know who the tribe
is and this place in Africa they claim
to be the tribe of
a so a lot of recent developments really
really interesting is uh
umash it's it's it's extraordinary
seeing some of this stuff happening if
you're paying attention to the
details uh it becomes easy and easier to
believe that mashiah is
really coming soon and if he's really
coming
soon we got to do something about
it then it becomes easy to have your any
questions no questions today almost
almost where's almost today didn't come
usually has a bunch of
questions almost has good
questions amen amen
