theat tonight is going to be for the and all of and all the righteous no noahides that continue to contribute continue to help us reach our goal which is to spread A's name in every corner of the world and make sure that everyone knows the truth while we still have an opportunity to to do so soem the kiru store is uh working and a lot of people are ordering the uh the books uh they're ordering thear posters but uh we we thought that we have to do even more and uh we'll discuss the reasons of why we had to do even more even though tomorrow's uh orders are pretty full these are all UPS labels for orders for tomorrow that have to go out boxes and boxes and boxes and lots and lots of boxes so anyone that hasn't ordered the uh boxes or any of the books in USBs for their Jewish Community uh is simply missing out because there's going to be communities that are doing chuva and making blessings while yours unfortunately is not so uh make sure that whether you have a religious community or a semi-religious community uh get them to wake up get them to learn some T do some blessings and Dua there's a lot of good stuff in the store it's all free kiru store.org but we added a couple of new things there uh one of them is both of them are really limited Supply one more than the other we added the uh book by RAB our very dear friend Rabbi Benyamin Golan uh welcome to Judaism this is a big favorite for balet chuva and for people that I've uh converted to Judaism uh we have uh some copies that we're giving out for free 10 copies per family uh there's only going to be enough for about I think um something like seven or 10 orders so uh get there as soon as you can to get yourself a uh copies uh there's also ra nen's books ra nen's books that we've been uh selling as a set for the last couple of years we've decided that we're going to start giving them more and more of them for free uh not because we got them for free we still paid the full price for all of them uh but rather because we realized that you guys and not realizing that these books are the best books that have been written in English uh in this generation uh and it's literally a must have in every Jewish household and uh since people are not realizing it uh then uh we have to try to help them we try to help them and that's what we do at the kiru store we fight your yet of money uh that people are uh cleaving themselves onto instead of cleaving themselves onto a and doing and getting their hands on anything that could possibly help them get closer to hasem so go to the K store K store.org and you'll be fortunate enough to get some of these books if you're located outside of the US then we only ask for you to pay for shipping shipping is not cheap if you don't even want to pay for the shipping then there's not much we can do for you uh so with that being said uh we have our and theat of has literally been digging deeper and deeper into our n uh to uh help us be become better quality people not just better Jews but literally better quality people if a person understood every one of the words of the and applied it to their life they literally could become one of now everyone is not there yet but we all could aim much higher than where we are one problem that everyone has in their life is that there's always a point in every aspect not just in the servitude of Hashem but in every aspect there's one point that's holding you back from your goal you I'm sure you guys have felt that at some point that you were working hard you were doing whatever you need to do but there's just something that you can't put your finger on it but it's holding you back from the goal now is actually going to look within ourish and let us know that we all have that one point that one point that separates us from everything that we need to have everything that we need to do in our and tonight we're going to learn just what that point is for each and every single person because it's obviously your point is not the same thing as his point and his point is not the same thing as her point and her point is not the same thing as my point everybody has their own point that is going to make a difference between where they are right now and where they want to be and where they could be and really it's all within your control but you have to know what the point is now those of you that are going to come into this lecture with I know it all mentalities are going to reject everything you hear from the start because you're going to assume no I know I know what that point is if you knew what that point is then why are you doing it no I know it's just that oh if you know what it is and you're still not doing it then there's something wrong with you obviously if the point is there and you know that it could bring you all the good things that you want to get then why aren't you doing it s sounds kind of sadistic so a person has to understand that there is a point but you're not going to get to that point if you are full of ego and hence the reason of why I highlighted the new song by our dear team in the chuva music uh uh channel uh that talks about Pride because pride is the one thing that keeps a lot of people away from all the blessings they possibly can be can have because himself says that I cannot be in the same room as a person that's full of Pride so if you're coming into this lecture as a know- it all as uh I I did it all then you're going to reject everything it's simply a waste of time for you to even listen to it on the other hand those of you that are coming in with ears that are ready for instructions for change may very well not only hear those instructions that perfectly fit your particular situation but may actually even take advantage of of them and perhaps be the leaders or at the very least part of the people that are going to be ready to accept the Salvation when it comes very soon so told us a lot of different things but now he's going to let us know about that one point and he says as follows you should constantly imagine especially when you are reading this that someone is standing beside you and exhorting you yelling at you to follow all these practices down to the smallest detail if you accustom yourself to doing this you will eventually feel a tremendous Awakening in your soul a burning fire and a Godly flame see here thatti Katan in his extraordinary wisdom gives us a lot of information in very few words as the ways of the of the where they say little but do much unlike the that say much but do little as the says now here theat is not creating or inventing this point this is actually a in where one of the says G was his name GID said anyone who says a statement in the name of the one who said it shall act as if he sees the one who said it standing upon him and watching now the truth we told as ra said that if the Heretics the ones we've exposed the ones we haven't exposed yet if the Heretics that misquote misinterpret manipulate different parts of the tat to their likings if they actually fulfilled just this part they would have never fallen as far away from the truth as they did because when a person says a statement in the name of one of the sages just as if he's saying a statement that he read in the New York Times then this doesn't mean much and that doesn't mean much this you're allowed to change and this you're allowed to change but if you say a statement in the name of one of the sages if you say a statement that's a verse in a Torah and you're Imagining the one who said it standing upon you and yelling at you do this or at the very least standing upon you and watching to see if you stay honest to the words a lot would change a whole lot would change the problem that we have is that people like to have rabbis that are no longer Alive Now although we all have our rabbis that are no longer alive it's all of the sages whether it's it's the the or if you go way back you go to the uh um to the B you go to the the the r the all of the sages of the of course all of us have these great sages these great rabbis that are our rabbis but if that's your only rabbis and you don't have a living Rabbi then usually that creates a door for problems why is that because if you don't have a rabbi that's alive that's going to tell you if your understanding the words of the rabbi that passed On's words correctly if you're representing those words if you're living by those words then certainly who says that you're even right who says you even understand what you think you understand many times people say that they are part of breast or kabad or some other great that unfortunately has many people giving it a bad name and they say no no I'm Rab's I'm the's I'm such and such okay great but which part of his Tora is your favorite oh yeah I like I like page number 84 you open page number 84 it's a blank page that's what he likes why because many times they'll look into the books of the that have toiled and bled over their Torah and you see that when the people are reading it many times they get to a part where they sadik is telling them the truth rebuking them telling them about and immediately you see the people oh well the rabbi over here had a lot of M in this one let's go to something nicer and they'll flip over another dozen or so Pages as if they read them but they skip over oh yeah yeah I found something nice I found something really good what is it oh he said what else he say oh no that's the end of the page that's it so if you have a rabbi like that that you can pick and choose what he says in so many words put a your hand over his mouth that's not a rabbi that's just simply you pretending you have a rabbi and unfortunately many people are doing just that where they're connecting to a certain or certain Rabbi or certain teachings of truth but they're not reallys absorbing the truth they're absorbing what they like what they could connect to and I've had situations where I can't even count the amount of times this happened to me but people would call me complain about either their spouse or different people in their family or their Kaa and I would ask them questions about the troublemakers whether it be the husband the wife or whoever it is uh the and every time it was literally as if it was the blueprint of the Satan you ask these people well listen why don't you uh ask this person to learn some M with you m what are you talking about they learned they told me they learn musar all the time wait they still behave in this abhorent way but they learn m one wife told me yeah my wife my husband I tell him let's let's learn M together he what are you talking about what could I possibly learn I've already read over 40 musar books and I give a Shure about it every week wait so he beats you and he yells at you and he's mean to your kids and everything but he claims that he knows M it's a little confused maybe what happens what happens is is that sometimes people pretend like they've already achieved everything to the point where they are above and beyond change and the truth is anyone that is a complete fixed n wouldn't even be here anymore everybody has to do Chua for something some more some less but when a person does not have someone to guide them someone to be superior over them then unfortunately they're failing already from the start that's why told you're going to be an Elohim over par you're going to be you're going to be a master over him and your Prophet is going to be Aon but everything you say Aon has to follow because you'll be like his master over Aon and you'll be the the uh the uh God over uh over uh over not thatu becomes a God but in essence this word Elohim that many people misunderstand when they don't read the commentary of the sages says everyone has to have someone that's Superior to them if you're not willing to subject yourself to a superior someone that's greater than you then you've already failed from the start and subjecting yourself to such a thing is literally torture because what ends up happening is a person can go on the wrong path their whole life believing it's the right one so now is telling us the same thing that the has said in which is when you are making a statement in the name of somebody imagine as if they are standing over you because once you know who said it and his greatness it puts everything into a different perspective this is just like what the m says many of the Mish starts off with who he used to say and the sages explain why do all the say he used to say because he was he used to say because he used to say what he was what he did he led by example not just simply giving you empty instructions that uh are just going to be like propaganda he's giving you information because this is what he tried and tested and this is what works now in the world with abundance of information much of it lies but the Torah remains true there are still going to be some people that mix the two they'll mix the world of Lies with the words of the truth of the Torah and then they'll do as much as they possibly can to create a turmoil for other people confusion for other people because they themselves are convinced that what they're saying is true because they've said a few things that are true and even though they mixed it with lies whether be from Christianity or Islam or some other forms of heresy and idolatry even within the world of Judaism and if a person wants to know whether they are connected to the truth or not the easiest place that you can look at is yourself how do these teachings affect your life and your servitude of hem doesn't make you a better person that's closer to hasem at the same time or does it make you in simply obnoxious and detestable either in the eyes of people or in the eyes of hasem according to his Torah and if one said no everybody likes me well that depends who is everybody if everybody's a bunch of Heretics and they like you that's not exactly a big uh achievement so a person has to always give themselves a litmus test to make sure that they are staying true to the Torah and of course they could see that by looking into the mirror now the page 90b says that each time you say one of the statements or the teachings of the sages the lips of the sage move while they're in their grave meaning that the sages are very very much aware of somebody teaching their Tah and even more more so they're aware of somebody manipulating and changing their toah and they didn't mean it and I can tell you that the causes them much suffering especially when people called the mashiah when they really weren't or when people say that they said one thing when they in reality they said something else but is trying to guide us in a direction where if you want to reach your goals whether it be happiness and success and all the blessings in this world and your AEM or it's in essence getting to and having a clean slate this is the path when you're learning t look at things from your own personal perspective as the in page 26 writes a prayer Master of the world may I long to serve you so much that I could immediately find myself in the words of every SE that I study that is May I recognize my own lowness and become deeply inspired and motivated to serve you from everything that I learn already you see the perspective of theim they're not looking into the book to find out how great they are or how much they know but rather they're looking for points of weakness in themselves because they know that if they're still in this world that means there's something missing there's a low point that needs to be raised may I feel that every book that I study was written specifically for me and speaks precisely to me about all that I'm going through then I will know that I truly long to fulfill your will as it is written oh God I desire to do your will and have your Torah within my heart here the is telling us that in order for me to feel that a is with me to have that feeling of Divine Providence all I have to do is learn his to why because if I learn this to the right way by seeing myself in this seeing how each part of the par of the seph orph or whatever I'm learning if I see myself and every one of them I know Hashem is talking to me through these books through these writings but the problem is that when you have so many distractions and you're not able to really get your n connected to the book whether it's distractions due to Ego or distractions due to literally people distracting you then it's impossible for a person to see anything in the books and that's why many times people say I learned but I can't connect to it yeah you can't connect to it because you're not really learning the same concept goes when it comes to prayers people say yeah I pray every day but uh I don't know I don't connect to it I don't like it well you don't like it because you're probably not praying the right way because if you had a meeting with somebody important a president a king you'd be as excited as possible and as careful as possible with every word that you say whereas in your prayers to Hashem every day three times a day we pray if you're not excited about it if you're not connecting to it there's something missing one of the things we mentioned last week in regards to amida the amida prayer that Jews pray three times a day is of critical importance but what many people don't realize is that the K which is when the Khan repeats the repetition of is not even of lesser importance or equal importance but rather it's of higher importance as Thea writes that during the reader repetition of theid all of the mystical rectifications all of the tiim that were accomplished during the silent amida are accomplished again but on a higher level and that's why V writes that the main form of service in our era before mashia is prayer and for this reason the evil inclination makes every effort to prevent us from concentrating on our prayer by sending us all types of distracting people distracting things but this also comes due to the fact as V says to the person's desire to want to know everything who just came in who just rung the Bell whose phone rang who's making that noise outside who's driving a motorcycle at this time of the day who's driving this people want to know everything this is why social media is so successful because people want to know everything about everybody else and forget about them needing to know about themselves so what r is starting off by telling us is that when you're reading any Torah even more so when you're reading this imagine as if the in this case it'sin is standing beside you he's exhorting him he's uh in so many words yelling at him to follow all of the practices down to the smallest detail now interestingly enough everything we just said missed the main point which is the last few words follow all of the practices down to the smallest detail why is this of such significance well as F explained to me in the sh that he did many years ago he had a point that he was telling aim Torah Scholars that were all reflecting on their own situations some had this issue others had that issue and he was telling him in a lecture that the difference between H looking at your bank account and seeing a plus 10,000 versus a minus 10,000 is simply a small point the minus and the plus only difference between them is a little Point that's it the difference between sending your email to the right address and the wrong address could literally be in that dot that's in.com or dot whatever is if you got the entire email correct but you forgot the dot the email is going to go nowhere same concept when a person looks at their situation whether it be financial situation or otherwise the difference between the current outcome and the ideal that you were looking at is a small little point now with that being said that means that when your situation was evaluated in sham was evaluated in the bed of as the says that before a person even gets a little prick on their finger from a needle there's a Heavenly Court determining whether he deserves it or not if he deserves it he'll get the prick if he doesn't nothing will harm him so needless to say if something as small as the prick of a needle is determined in heaven so is your bank account so is your relationships so is your understanding of certain things everything is decided as the and theora tells us in countless places everything is from Heaven except the fear of Heaven meaning everything in your life is decided whether you're going to succeed in your business fail in your business uh succeed in your learning fail in your learning succeed in your marriage fail in your Mar everything is decided already in heaven except whether fear of Heaven meaning whether you will serve hem or not Hashem already decided whether you'll get married or not whether you will die old or not whether you'll be male or female whether you'll be rich or poor before you even came to the world now how you get to those points whether it be through servitude of hem or By ignoring Hashem that's going to be up to you so it doesn't matter whether you work as a plumber or as a AI agent make yourself into a robot Hashem will decide whether you're going to Ed or not now as far as how you get there whether it's through going and living a life that's in accordance to the Torah or not whether it's being a servant of hem or an atheist or heretic that remains your choice so was telling these group of Torah Scholars every person looks at their personal financial situation and sometimes they're satisfied and sometimes they're not one guy has a plus 10,000 and the other guy has a negative he says the difference between the two is a small Point not just small Point literally speaking between the minus and the plus because that you can't really do anything about but rather because that plus or minus was determined based on the small point that you either decided to make into something significant or you ignored or worse yet made it insignificant when aadh decided whether to give you the Plus or the minus it wasn't based on the big decisions only but in fact as our tell us that the righteous are made based on the Small Things how they treat what's considered small mitv how you are with the small stuff is how you really are now person that says no come on I made some big decisions but there's some small details that are missing this is like somebody saying yeah I have a driver's license but it's illegal well if it's an illegal driver's license youan you don't have a license no I have a license but it's just an illegal license it's somebody else's uh it's the same concept as somebody saying listen I I keep Shabbat I just drive no no if you drive on Shabbat that means you're not observant of Shabbat you're not keeping the rules of Shabbat I'm married but I have a girlfriend no no no if you're married that means there's no girlfriend there's no boyfriend there's no nothing else is and that's the problem when people start mixing their lies into the truth to such an extent where they start believing it's true then that small Point has gotten to the place where they could literally ruin their lives without even realizing what they did wrong now many times a person that's trying to elevate themselves spiritually is going to if he's not getting the right gu guidance by his Rabbi by his understanding of his to he's going to try to elevate himself she's going to try to elevate ourself initially from the exterior how they look something that's external now even though the says that the external can't impact the internal this is not to say that you should always change the external and wait until the internal changes because that small point that we all want to finally press our finger on to finally say okay finally that's the small Point that's what I was missing now I can do it that small Point comes from within it's not something exterior because that small point when you start paying attention mention to the small stuff of how you are in your mannerisms how you are in your behavior how you are with your you know simply your recognition of a that small point is literally the recognition of hashem's Divine Providence of hashem's the more you recognize that hasem is supervising every single detail in your life the more you will pay attention to the small stuff because if you think that something is insignificant even though it says it in the Torah even though the sages teach it even though it's true but you simply ignore it you ignore the fact that wigs are coming from idolatry because you figure there's enough people that disagree even though they're nowhere as great as the evidence proves or as the great sages that say otherwise or you simply decide that you're going to say about certain people because you just feel like it's not such a big deal because you don't like those people all types of other things that people do when you simply ignore what you think is something minor small Point what you're actually saying is that A's as his Divine Providence is limited where he only looks at the big stuff he only looks at things that are big and that you agree that they're big and this thing where you're violating the Torah where you're ignoring the Torah where you're simply deleting parts of the Torah n it's not big so now on the other end when a person wants to elevate themselves and make sure that they are becoming the most righteous they possibly can be they're going to start paying more attention to the small details to that small point because what they're saying in there what they're saying when they're more careful with their speech they're more careful with their mannerisms they're more careful with who they deal with in business and how they deal in business they're more careful with the decisions they make the more careful with literally every text every email everything they put into their mouth or everything that comes out of their mouth when they're more careful with the small details what in essence what they're saying in their behavior is that aad who's Divine Providence not only cares about everything but his Divine Providence is so great that he's literally watching every single thing that you do and the more you are particular with the things that you do in your servitude of hem and your day-to-day life the more you are recognizing hashem's greatness now recognizing greatness is not something that everyone can do as the writes in this week's Paras parat his commentary he says that in this parasha we see in a uh chapter 11 uh verse number three also the Man known as Moshe was a very great man both in the eyes of the Egyptians as well as in the eyes of parau and the M says as follows it's well known that greatness in the eyes of the nation can be understood on two levels either it refers to wisdom character traits religious orientation or it may be understood in terms of the possession of a unique quality in some instances the so-called greatness is that the owner of these qualities is understood to possess Divine qualities now the first type of greatness that's mentioned meaning his character strength his wisdom his how dedicated he is to God how righteous he is this type of greatness is only recognized by people that possess some of these qualities themselves meaning you can't determine that someone is great in righteousness in character strength if you are of the opposite if you're a low life you're not going to appreciate theim and how humble they are if you're an arrogant person that thinks he controls the world on the other hand if you are righteous not necessarily as righteous but at least righteous and going in the right direction you'll be able to recognize people that are more righteous than you on the other hand the the other type of greatness greatness that comes you know a uh a uh wealth power and so on this type of greatness is recognized by the people at large everyone can see that everyone can see that Elon Musk is great at what he does everyone can see that you know the the leaders of the world are great in whatever it is that they do why cuz they achieved greatness so anyone can see that well they agreed disagree with them is irrelevant but it doesn't take someone great to recognize that type of greatness anyone can see that in fact the ordinary person is more ready to be impressed by such people than a highly educated person who is not willing greatness in others as it reflects negatively on himself they're more likely to be suspicious of some such claimants to great being fakes when the Torah refers to Moshe as being isim the man of that's like God in Deuteronomy CH 31:1 it's because his lifestyle was visibly more than that of a of a Divine is is literally is visibly more like that of a divine creature than of an ordinary mortal when Moshe ascended Mount saai without providing for himself food and drink he stayed away for 40 days and 40 nights this was certainly not something that ordinary mortals can do when he orchestrated the 10 plagues predicting what would happen with accuracy this was not within the power of ordinary human beings when par servants in Exodus chapter 10:7 ask pero for how long he will tolerate moshe's plagues they don't refer to Moshe by name or even by title but only by the word Z which means this one being unable to Define who precisely this leader of the Israelites was they said for how much longer shall this one be a snare for us see here the gives us some insights into our own behaviors that we act subconsciously if you're quick to analyze people that you see oh he's great look he made this much money oh he's great look he uh dunk that many Hoops or shot that many baskets or that many goals or whatever it is you should know that it doesn't take greatness to recognize that anybody can do that some better than others based on experience but nonetheless it does not require any extraordinary change of character character in order for you to become an expert in analyzing the uh the greatness in baseball players or basketball players or football players or politicians or whatever it is any person can do that but to truly be able to recognize greatness in character greatness and quality of a person means that you have to have some of that yourself so what is in essence telling us is that if you know already that you're not exactly the biggest sadik sadik out there then this applies to you even more so why because the one thing that's stopping you from going through that one point and doing what you need to do in order to serve Hashem at the best possible level that you can is ego is pride the one thing that is stopping you from listening to a rabbi that's telling you the truth to change a rebuke that he gave you a m that you heard or whatever instructions you got from the Tora even by reading a book The one thing that's stopping you from making that change to elevate yourself and turn that negative 10,000 into a positive 10,000 is ego and the way to fight that ego is first and foremost realize who said what is being said not just by realizing their greatness reading their bio and knowing that Ru vadya was amazing or the ram was amazing or the uh the uh you know all of the great sages were no not just that which is certainly important to do but also realize realize where you stand know your own Mak Where You Are and imagine and visualize that Great Sage standing on top of you and yelling at you to do it and you saying yeah I have to do it this he's my master he's my master he's greater than me he's more righteous than me smarter than me he knows more to than I do because if you're not going to do that then you're not acting any different than the heritage that simply dismiss the words of the great sages or even worse manipulate them change the words to fit their own agenda our servitude of who has rules where a person has to realize that change primarily has to come from within not the exterior the first thing that most people do when they do do chva if it's a guy he grows a beard sometimes even PE they change all their clothes black and white as if they have to wear black and white you don't have to wear black and white you could wear white you wear black you could wear all colors as long as it's modest as long as it's modest you don't have to wear black and white there's plenty of righteous people that don't wear black and white but the Bala the convert immediately everything turns to black and white they think that makes them righteous that makes them religious it doesn't make you religious it doesn't make you righteous what makes you righteous is what kind of behavior you live with from that point on regardless of whether you're wearing black and white or only white or blue or whatever other color many times people think oh if I grow beard that makes me more religious no it doesn't make you more beard Grows by itself even a goat has one you want to grow a beard by all means go ahead but sometimes people have such a misunderstanding of the significance of the exterior that they say listen I'm not as religious right now I fell off a little bit do you think I should CH shave off my beard what do I care if you have a beard or you don't have a beard I'm not married to you beard never made you religious it only made you religious in your mind a person has to understand that the change has to come from within from within now certainly an e a proper exterior can influence the interior but it should never become the primary source of inspiration there was one time aid from had this custom where when they would pray to a they would yell from all of their heart crying out to hem different parts of the and this went on a trip and he was uh wanted to go pray but the uh synagogue in the place that he was visiting wasn't the same so he came to the rabbi because he had he had Obviously good manners and he told him listen I'm from and uh I just wanted permission from the rabbi that when I pray you know there are certain parts of the prayer where I just yell out and to his surprise the Rabbi says absolutely not no yelling here at all no no but Rabbi listen this is just where I am and and and we we we where we come he goes listen you're here in ARA in my K we're quiet everybody's quiet like a mouse everybody prays tosel no yelling here you don't like it Pray by yourself somewhere else and nothing that he would say could change the rabbi's mind and this poor sadik want to pray with the of course he came to the sh the next morning and they're praying and he's holding himself back and holding himself back certain parts that he usually connects to more and more and usually raises his voice with the rest of his Kad that's not next to him at this point but he continues to pray get closer and closer to and then he gets to a certain part and says Allelujah he starts screaming Allelujah Allelujah everybody looks at him like what happened to this guy realizes where he stands he's not alone he becomes quiet again quiet quiet again as they continue and they continue pray quiet and again the fire within him starts burning as he gets closer closer to and they get closer to the blessings of the and he gets closer and he loves hem and he gets closer he [Applause] say after he finishes the he sees everyone also did shma but they're all also looking at him and he realizes that he's not back home and every so often this happens throughout the prayer and after he completes the prayer with a handful of slip UPS he realizes I have to go speak to the rabbi and ask him for ask for you know apologize because he specifically told me not to yell and he comes to the rabbi with his head down he says R I'm so sorry what what are you sorry for no I know you said not to yell and I I I didn't follow all your instructions what do you mean you prayed perfect you were great me what but but you but you said not not to yell he says no no no you didn't understand if you're coming here planning to yell then I don't want that because that's fake why just because you yell back home just you yell somewhere else that's the way you are doesn't mean that you're praying to Hashem that means it doesn't mean that you actually are connected but if the y in the crying comes from within your there's nothing better in the world than that of course we always welcome that and that's the ultimate message of how to determine whether your change of exterior is coming from the right place or not if the way you express yourself is l literally like a cry from within then it's natural then it's perfect then it's what a wants if that's what's causing you to grow that beard or wear black and white or whatever is you yell When you pray or or or move yourself when you pray or all types of things that people do there's no problem with it that's perfect that's what Hashem wants hasem wants your heart but if the only reason why you wear what you wear you say what you say you act the way you act it's just because other people are doing it then who says it's real who says it's real and that's in essence what a told the prophet Isaiah literally telling him why destruction is ahead where in chapter 29 verse number 13 and 14 says in as much as this people had drawn close with their mouth and with their lips it had honored me yet it had distanced its heart from me their fear of me is like wrote learning of human commands here are K is telling us religious people yes you came you prayed three times a day you said it with your lips you made the voice but your heart was away from me it became like robotic and for that I punish you if I wanted robots I would have created robots I would have just kept it as the Angels is not looking for robots he's not looking for artificial intelligence to become a servants so when a person has a prayer a learning or anything else that they do in their servitude of Hashem that has become so mechanic that there's very little emotion in it that's one of the small points that must be fixed because clearly is telling us I'm not rebuking and punishing you because you didn't pray at all that's certainly a problem that Hashem deals with differently here I'm rebuking you religious folks that already go pray that already go learn that already go do what Hashem says but with zero connection to it now you may think that you are religious enough just like shalom used to say the reason why he didn't go to religious communities to give lectures as often as he did in places where there was balet he says because many of the religious people think that they're religious enough and any one that thinks that they're religious enough that's a lost cause can't help with such a person if you think you already know everything I can't help you if you're not willing to actually apply the M that you hear it's better off you don't even hear it and many times people can literally listen to M listen to Torah read the Torah but all of it goes by the you know over their head on the side it goes in all types of places but not within their heart why no no no you can't I'm I'm good enough I'm good enough I'm doing I'm doing the best that I can that's usually that's usually the best uh response I'm doing the best that I can if you're really doing the best that you can it'll be a plus 10,000 in the account versus a minus certainly there are periods of tests but you've been tested test after test with no blessings in between that means you haven't passed any tests because usually Hashem gives you a test you pass the test you get a blessing certainly you're going to get another test but there's a blessing on the way just like one of the heard this from bman his daughter came to him and told him ABA I don't have any food to feed my kids what do I do he says go to the and cry to so this sadika followed what our father said and went to the Cel and she starts praying to Hashem from all of our heart and of course when your heart comes out so do the tears and she starts crying hysterical at the Cel and all of a sudden the woman that's next to her starts yelling at her hey hey what are you doing you're ruining all of our prayers quiet there quiet obviously Cel is not a library you're not supposed to be quiet there just be if you're crying because you're crying to hasm there's no problem but apparently according to this woman you have to be quiet and she starts yelling at her and the sadik hears this yell but does not respond does not respond because she knew that her father taught her that when somebody yells at you somebody embarrasses you and you don't respond a blessing is on the way save your life she's quiet and she's getting yelled that and this woman wouldn't stop eventually she stops tadika finishes our prayer and leaves on our way home as she thinks about all that's happened and she's looking down at the floor as she's walking something shiny catches her eye and she realizes that the gold Napoleon coin worth a fortune she picks it up and she quickly gets to her father's house ABA ABA look look what Hashem sent me I went and I did what you said I went and I cried at the cotel and then this woman yelled at me and I didn't I didn't respond and hasem sent me this gift look he sent me a gold Napoleon I could eat with my my kids and I my family could eat for the rest of the here with this and the rebi said to her my dear daughter no no you're you're right but not 100% you see what I didn't tell you was that the starvation that your family has had was because there was a decree in heaven with your life on it you were supposed to go and get the death penalty you were supposed to die from starvation and I knew that the only way that you can change that decree is if you get publicly embarrassed but overcome the desire to respond and that's exactly what you did when you went to the cotel you went and cried to Hashem and instead of getting a positive response you got publicly embarrassed for it and because you overcame and you did not respond to that woman the death penalty that was on you was nullified and now you're going to ask so why did I receive the coin you see Hashem when he gives us such a decree such a bitter medicine and we listen and we do what he says we take that medicine he wants to give us something sweet to get the taste to go away you see when a person has a perspective that they are already good enough they are already doing enough and therefore they don't need to change it's no different than someone saying listen there's so much to do I don't know what to do I'm just not going to do anything it's the same concept same thing happens the yet influenced them in both cases and that's what um the bov and other also said this that the the evil inclination the Satan as the says he has multiple names because he comes to you in different directions he's the he's the Satan he's the but he has two weapons a cooler and a heater what's a cooler and a heater when someone is there trying to serve AEM pray every day learn every day give takaka according to what he's supposed to what she's supposed to then the Satan doesn't like it so what does he do he has to send some some some cooler to cool them off hey hey why you uh so passionate in your prayers relax relax you don't need to act so strange oh come on you're learning again why you learning Oh Come have a good time come on Hashem created this world to have a good time have a good time come leave the books already you can study tomorrow it's not school oh how much money you're giving it staka what are these rabbis depend on you come on live a little save some money for retirement buy yourself something with that kind of money you could buy a house the Satan is always going to send you some cooler some am some that is can also be your family member could also be your best friend could also be somebody that you're really close to and usually they are to what to cool you off stop studying Torah stop praying stop giving so muchaka stop doing the will of hem or maybe not stop but slow down cool off a little bit now if a person falls for that yet many times the fall doesn't stop they continue falling and if they don't stop themselves from falling further and go back up then they continue falling and then the second type of yet comes the heater what does the heater do the heater warms you up but not towards serving of hem the opposite all of a sudden you're thinking ah come on what did I do to myself I used to give so much staka I used to learn a few hours a day I used to go pray every day a what did I do to myself ah starting tomorrow that's it I'm going back to Sho starting tomorrow I'm going back I'm learning again all of a sudden you get a phone call oh wow look at this I haven't talked to this guy in a while hey how you doing you got this phone call out of the blue what's going on listen we got a party at my house we're having a good time over here come come no no listen I I I think I'm going to go back no all right whatever go back to wherever you want tomorrow come today come today have a good time with us you don't want to miss out he starts the starts heating you up like you can't miss this opportunity out can't this Miss opportunity of sins opportunity to steal opportunity to commit adultery o opportunity to immorality he Heats you up he gets you like you cannot miss you cannot miss this chance to steal to to literally destroy your life but he makes it as if this is the one and only chance of a lifetime he Heats you up to the sin those are the two weapons of the Satan to cool you off or to heat you up both of them to get you away from hasem and that is what theat is telling us here that if we understood not just the words but who is saying it that Servants of aad are saying this people that dedicated their entire life that tried and tested everything that's being said automatically our perspective of every aspect of the tah that we learn becomes different becomes applicable becomes personal because now if it was said by the greatest of great in his generation the rambam the raan and all of these great if it was said by such Geniuses by such righteous people by literally the men of God then certainly this is something that I should do too to the best of my ability I should give as much as I can I should learn as much as I can I should pray as much as I can I should do more and stop skipping the small stuff that I think is small stuff because the Satan tells me it's small it's only a minor detail because that Minor Detail makes all the difference that Minor Detail is my acceptance that aad looks and cares about every single point in my life and if I know that Hashem wantes every single part of my life then before I make a nasty comment to a parent to a child to a business partner to a rabbi to another fellow Jew before I do any of those things even if it's just a nasty comment it doesn't seem like it's a big deal certainly I have to take into account wait a minute that seems like a minor detail what's the big deal well it is a big deal because hm is watching hem is watching and if a person does that says if you accustom yourself to doing this you will eventually feel a tremendous Awakening in your soul a burning fire and a Godly flame The Godly flame that that from khen felt where he literally was holding himself back from crying out to Hashem in the middle of prayer until it just came out that's what comes out but in every aspect of your life sometimes I see people where they want to start giving a shield and they've either watched me or other rabbis and automatically you can tell who influence them why because of the way they communicate if you see that sometimes they're more passionate usually that's somebody that learned from me if they are more calm demeanor usually somebody else influenced them and that's fine whichever one gave them a positive influence that's all good but sometimes you see that a person is trying to be what they're not they're yelling but it's not really coming from their n they're yelling because they think they're supposed to yell they're speaking about a specific topic because they think they're supposed to speak about it not because it hurts them because it affects them because they're connected to it and that's why the sages say the words that come out of the heart reach the heart plenty of people can do something but the ones that actually succeed the most are the ones that literally connect to what they're talking about the most now is telling us that if we start ignoring the yet that tells us it's only small it's not a big deal you continue watching these inappropriate websites you continue being you know unethical in your business you continue lying to your boss and pretending that you're working when you're really not you continue doing all of these things that are violation of hashem's laws no one cares no one catches nothing if we ignore that yet and stop doing those things stop saying that everything is a small Minor Detail minor thing everybody doing it all types of justifications all types of pacifying of the conscious if we stop all of that automatically that elevates us to becoming a better person if we start looking at everything that we learn in the tah as if it was written for us personally if we start looking at the world in a way that everything that we see was a presenting it for us to see it you saw that accident because I want you to learn from that accident you saw that loss because I want you to learn from that loss you saw that gain I want you to learn from that gain everything that you see in your life is hashem's messages to you if we start looking at all of the small details as something significant automatically that elevates the person why because that means that you are recognizing hashem's greatness more and more each and every single day and certainly that's going to have to affect your life but a person that doesn't think that the small details are Cared by hasem is a person that could literally miss the entire picture Shalom when he had his synagogue early on in a generation where you know religiosity was in a downturn he noticed that there were members of his Ka that were ashamed to walk around with their L and to the it on sukot the moment that he saw that he made a new custom in theet what is it we're all going to go and take our lulav and and March in the main streets of New York what why why are we doing that Rabbi because we're going to be proud of being Jewish no no but Rabbi aren't we uh enticing the to uh to that we're Jewish and no what are you embarrassed of being Jewish you're embarrassed of carrying to love you embarrassed of what the G think of you when you wear this big garment to cover you the talit no more embarrassment in this Kila anybody that's embarrassed don't come to this Kila and he literally made it a custom in this Kila every year during suot where the Kila would just walk around the main streets with their to remove that yet that was making them embarrassed of being Jewish many times people are embarrassed of who they are and it's the biggest mistake in the world because if you're embarrassed of who you are then you're simply a faker you're not who they think you are and you're not who you are you're just living one fake life and the worst part of it all is that you're hiding your greatness because the greatest thing about you is that a kadosh out of billions and billions of people in all of the generations chose you to be his chosen son chose you to be his chosen daughter he didn't choose your neighbor he didn't choose your uh you know your boss he didn't choose your custom he chose you to be his chosen child and you're embarrassed you're embarrassed to wear a keeper you're embarrassed to have a oh Rabbi come on do I really have to wear the scarf on my head all the other women in my uh in my job they uh you know they uh they they they'll look at me funny how come Fatima from uh from uh from Isis has no problem wearing her head covering how come Ahmed from uh from Al Qaeda has no problem of going in the middle of Broadway in New York and praying in the middle of the street not even on the sidewalk how come and You The Chosen child of a you're embarrassed of wearing a of a scarf likeu you Abu are embarrassed of being like abah your forefather that made the Covenant with him you're embarrassed of being Jewish instead of being embarrassed of that you should be embarrassed of being what you are being embarrassed of what you are there's nothing greater than being a kosh's chosen child and one of the worst satans that a person can have is hiding that they're Jewish by telling them no you can be Jewish but look like the gim wear t-shirts and shorts like them and act like them and instead of a keeper wear a baseball cap and uh instead of uh you know going to this you'll go somewhere else and you'll talk like them and you'll act like them and you'll listen to music like them why why that's a Satan that makes it look like it's not a big deal it's not a big deal while I'm still covering my head it's just a baseball cap I'm still uh going to school I'm just going in a way that nobody else none of my neighbors or friends see me no you're not understanding those small points those small points make all the difference those small points make all the difference in the early 1900s Jewish people that lived in America struggled tremendously in their financial situation not because they couldn't get jobs but rather because they couldn't hold their jobs because if you were religious in America there was no such thing as you can take off Shabbat for work from work that meant that you got a job you work the whole week and you were expected to come back and work on Saturday and when you told your boss listen I'm Jewish I can't work on Saturday in those days there was no such thing as religious freedom listen you don't come on Saturday day I'm firing you and that meant that every week the religious Jews would get fired from a job and start off the whole new week getting a new job and then working and then get fired again and many times they couldn't find a new job and literally would get to a point of starvation they literally sacrificed their life in order to observe Shabbat now you would think that all of those Jews had sons and daughters that were the greatest sikim in the world but you'd be wrong because some of those Jews that sacrificed their life to observe Shabbat every week had sons and daughters that went off the D so far that they literally some of them didn't even recognize who God was like how could it be writes in multiple places the you wrote it in once where those parents that sacrificed everything for observance of Shabbat but yet had children that became Zionist Communists how could that be it's because even though they made the Sacrifice by not going to work by getting fired every week didn't celebrate their servitude of hem when they came home on Shabbat and had the dinner instead of celebrating the opportunity of serving Hashem they'd complain about it I what are we going to do we're going to get fired again cuz we're Jewish cuz we can't work tomorrow you know we didn't ask Hashem to make us Jewish but he made us Jewish so what can we do we have to keep Shabbat you know we have to keep it as if Shabbat as if the MIT as if the Torah is a burden upon them and from that says they lost the blessings why because when their children heard that observing Shabbat that observing is a burden they didn't want to do it and they didn't and they abandoned ship and they intermarried and assimilated and became the Hollywood of today some of the people that literally became big in Hollywood creating Marvel movies and so on used to go to Yeshiva as kids some have died already some are old men literally waiting for their days to end but the stories of Marvel Comics and many one came from the Yesa they just plagiarized the mid and a couple of other places put some different colors and they made it into a Hollywood film where did they get the information from it wasn't their imagination they plagiarized the Tor they plagiarized the mid they plagiarized the how did they have knowledge of it because their parents used to be religious but they abandoned ship the moment they could because they viewed the T and the as a burden if you view the Tora and the as a burden you could be certain that your kids are going to view it the same way but unlike you they won't stay committed to it they'll abandon the burden they'll abandon the thing that's weighing them down there was oneid of his grandson wrote the bio on RDO Miller but this had a very difficult time where he had to get fired every week from his job in America and one week after so much difficulty he said that's it I can't do this anymore get fired every week not have a job for two weeks kids are starving at home I can't do it that's it this is my last Shabbat I'm failing the test I can't do it and he came into Shabbat sad and miserable because this was his last Shabbat starting next week he said he's going to work on Shabbat and throughout the Shabbat he still has the sad face because he feels like there's no other way towards the end of Shabbat another sees him and says why the long face why you so sad ah forget it don't worry no no no tell me come on I want to I want you to come with me no no no no not coming anything this is please leave me alone why what's wrong with you why you so sad because because listen I can't the the the parasa issues I can't do it anymore I can't keep Shabbat anymore so this is my last Shabbat so I'm sad he says okay so if it's your last Shabbat at least come to Mal huh what what are you talking about what M Mal what mala is the special meal and feast that people do after Shabbat is completed as the fourth meal and in many places in they make it a big festive meal with 10 people at least or more in some cases hundreds with celebration to tell the Shabbat that we already miss her and honor the Shabbat instituted this fourth meal and celebrated the every week because when hasem told him that he's going to die on a Shabbat just didn't tell him when every time Shabbat was completed and he didn't die he knew he has a whole new week and he celebrated it with the m Mal so now this that this is his last Shabbat is being invited to Mal he's like this is the last thing on my mind it's my La my last Shabbat leave me alone no no you're coming with me you're coming come on if it's it's going to be a last about at least do it right and he pulled them and pushed them and he got them to come to M Mal and he got to the m Mala and there was a celebration something he's never seen before there was food there was singing there was celebrating it was unbelievable and this saw this and enjoyed it and it elevated him so much he said how can I possibly leave this Shabbat how can I leave this Shabbat it's so beautiful and decided at that moment no way am I leaving the Shabbat and the opposite from now on every Shabbat I'm goingon to finish off completing the Shabbat with a celebration of me Mal just like this and he made it a custom upon himself and his family that every Shabbat was completed with the Mal with celebration and Le 10 people and withstood the test eventually made Ali and continued the family tradition of a big celebration every Shabbat every M Shabbat and his last day in this world was a Shabbat and he had a celebration on M Shabbat and as soon as he completed that celebration his precious went up to sh when the closenberg Reby heard this the rebi at son he told the family he was so touched by the story there such truth such EMT in the story he says the family must continue the same tradition as their father that was celebrating every single Shabbat because of that celebration that saved his Nish when a person serves a with all of his heart with all of his soul with all of his resources that means that there's not going to be anything that would limit him that will stop him that will get in his way he's always going to look for a way to do more this brings us to the answer of what I said before in the beginning why did we start giving the rimen books for free well you see just like we teach we have to do and right now as we're going through the numbers the financials of the organization how much donations came in how much expenses I don't know all the details yet but I do know that financially it was the worst year that we've had in several years even though we have done more work and more expenses and more donate more uh uh helping people and more books were giving out and more free stuff distributed and more helping people and more lectures and more apps and more more kiru more Tor came into the world this past year than any of the other years before yet the financial results as far as what people are contributing to help us to partner with us went down now I ask myself if we're doing more and we're helping more of you and we're helping more of people that are probably not watching right now and we're producing more and doing more and there's more Torah in the world why would there be less donations if anything there should be more if I helped you get married if I helped you convert if I helped you uh learn more Torah if I helped all if I did more that means usually people reciprocate but that's not necessarily the way everything works you see sometimes you have to evaluate your own points and I realize that even though it's more it's not enough because there's something else you can do there's more sacrifices you can give and I see what we're giving a bunch of books for free we're giving uh lectures for free we're giving this for free we're giving feeding we're helping countless people what else can we do he said well you know there's books you have that are in English that are the greatest Books available in English today but for whatever reason or another the Satan has convinced an entire generation to Simply not realize it they'll look everywhere else they'll buy every Joe Schmo that has a title with some colors on it but when the greatest books from recent Generations have been translated miraculously to English are practically not available anywhere and you found out about them and you have them and you read them and you learned them and and people are just not realizing it so we got them we started selling them but again we're not a bookstore even though we produced hundreds of thousands of copies of books everything's for free but this one thing we figured we'd sell it because cost a lot of money and people would buy it and yes a few people bought it but nowhere near enough to the amount of people that watch the lectures the people that need the change so I said you know what giving him for free is an expensive Endeavor so that's what we didn't do it but now we figured if you say that Hashem runs the world and you're living on a miracle anyway what's the difference between this small point and that small point and the truth is is there nothing there is no difference so while we are continuing to publish more books in Hebrew and eventually in English we just literally are in the last couple of boxes of our books in English and then it was supposed to be pretty much no books in English for a while until something else comes up but since the majority of my personal audience are English speakers even though some of them obviously many of them can speak Hebrew it's nowhere near the same as their primary language of of English and when you have the greatest treasure available for whatever reason or another people haven't bought it even when they could afford it they simply haven't it's simply because the Satan has somehow put the wool over their eyes and made them not realize that this is not a musthave this is not as necessary for them as air in their lungs they simply don't realize it why because the money yet is stopping it so since part of our great battle is against the Satan of money let's fight this fight too so now yes you can still buy the entire set on the website if you wish but you could also order some books you're not going to be able to select which ones but they're certainly going to be the English books of RA again to give to your Jewish Community now we're going to be a little bit more selective of who we send them to because I know that there are some people that are Jews and some people that are not Jews that get books from us since it's a limited Supply and it's very very expensive I can't just distribute this blindly to everywhere but it is on a c store and we're going to do our best to distribute them in as many places as we can primarily in the US if you're located in different countries and so on we'll have to have you pay for the shipping at least because at the very least we'll have to have you cover some of the costs but the point is we're going to do everything we possibly can to press our own points to do more because the difference between a difficult year and the greatest year in the world is just one point so there's a couple of new books that are in English now there is plenty of new things that are going to be coming this year a lot of major huge projects that we're working on so far you've seen benefits of some of them some bigger ones that are coming soon as well and we're going to continue doing as much as we can and will also do as much as he can so if we have to fight the for you because you're connected to money more than you are connected to God will do that hopefully once you read the books and apply that information to your life that yet of money will go away and you'll be able to be part of the supporters part of the sponsors part of the people that's fighting the of money for other people and helping get closer to thank you very much for learning with me bless each and every single one of you that is supportive that is learning and we all succeed in serving aosh with the big things as well as with the small points call to [Music] TR [Music]
