We are at our series finale of the kan
theat series. Tonight's is going to be
for the
which we study this and everything else
we know uh with him together
and
continue blessing him and his family and
everything that he does. uh to
and all of the amazing supporters of our
organization, those that donate and uh
on our website.org or other ways. uh we
very much appreciate everything you do
because uh this simply is uh part of
your uh part of your donations, part of
your efforts whether it's this lecture
or the other lectures or feeding
hundreds of thousands of Jews that are
unfortunately in dire straits init
or uh the books all the amazing things
that the organization does. Anyone that
wants to support and be part partners
with us uh could uh donate on our
website.org.
Uh some of you may have gotten a text
message from us earlier today. Uh don't
worry, it's not a scam. This is a new
marketing system that we have which
is a uh good tool to remind some people
to uh to donate to help to support
especially now with the campaign that we
have to uh help people that uh have
simply lost their homes in two seconds
from all the missile attack that's
happening uh during this war. Uh despite
the fact that there was uh uh favorable
news when America decided to join the
war, uh the reality is still that uh
there are still being missiles being
shot at Israel. And unfortunately, some
of them are hitting some of them are
hitting Abuai. And those people that uh
are losing their homes, they're uh you
know, they lose everything with it. Some
of them literally are able to leave
their house with just the clothes that's
on them. And uh we already sent a
100,000 there and literally in a matter
of 24 hours in a matter of 24 hours it's
all gone gone. And we if you could look
at the campaign it's it's not uh uh
there's a lot more that's needed and
anyone that uh has the ability should
not sit on their hands and do nothing
and just pray or read taim. That's all
nice. Taimm groups are nice. Uh prayers
are nice. But the reality is people need
help. People need help. People need to
uh you know pay for uh new stuff,
replacement houses, all types of things.
And the more help we can give them, the
better. So, anyone that wants to donate
could donate on the campaigns. Uh and of
course, anyone that wants to partner
with all the amazing things that we do
as as far as the lectures and everything
else could also donate on the website.
Uh last but not least, uh the uh next
series will start perhaps next week.
anyone that wants to sponsor the series,
there's several sponsorship
opportunities available on the website
and of course the merits for those that
sponsor are literally endless. So with
that being said, we have the last
segment of the holy katan. It says katan
a short note but in reality after we've
studied it for some time now we see this
is a very gad it's a very very big
because there's literally endless
information endless wisdom from the
world of Torah from the world ofidut
which helped us understand
uh a whole lot better what is kasidut
now of course this is not the first time
that our organization has uh has entered
into the world of aside from the fact
that Rever Fry grew up in the world of
throughout all of his young years and
going to uh the Murim on a regular basis
uh and uh learning with them and yes uh
we've already published two books uh on
the first one was the uh the book that
was the gay based on the teachings of
the Baltov that was already published a
few years ago and then now this new book
that just came out which is the Shabbat
although it addresses the heresy of uh
of Manis Freedman the kufel and all of
his followers and supporters uh the
reality is that the content in it is all
about it's all sources from the across
the spectrum of the Torah including the
teachings of the shalom so the reason
why we had to do this is simply because
between those two books books. In this
series,
we are helping rescue people from a path
to gum. Because what's happening in the
world today is that people are falling
for the lies of the heretics, the lies
of people that claim that they are
representing.
uh and in reality the people are not
investing or not willing to invest the
amount of time necessary the months and
years necessary to learn from the
sources of what it actually says and if
what it says actually matches what the
heretics say. And what you'll find from
this series, from the books that have
been published, is that not only does it
not say what the heretics say, it says
the literally the exact opposite. But
only somebody that's willing to invest
their time uh into it is going to know.
And what we're trying to do is simply
provide people a shortcut. if they're
not going to read all of the books of to
try to figure out what was said and how
was said, you could simply find a
shortcut after watching this series and
reading those books. Now,
before these books and this series,
people
would have to go find the answers in the
Tanya. They would have to find it inatan
of, you know, Rabin Aman of breastlift.
They would have to find it in different
writings that are all over the place of
the balmto. They would have to find it
in different places. But after this
series and after the books, people are
now going to have a much easier time
finding the truth if they're truly
looking for it. Having easy access to
the truth is one of the greatest gifts
that a kadosh gave us in this
generation.
Now katan has delved into every aspect
of a person's life from the moment that
they wake up to how they are supposed to
eat, how they're supposed to behave with
their spouse, how they're supposed to do
everything. And now that katan
addresses something that applies to
everyone and that's the one problem we
all have at some point or another. Some
people more, some people less, which is
wasting time.
Now, for a person to be aided, not only
are they expected to not waste their
time, but they're actually expected to
do more than everyone else. But after
all, we're all human. We all have flaws.
So, what can you do to fix it, whether
you're aid or not?
With so many people that are posing to
represent Kabel of Leens gives clear
instructions
of what is to be expected and what must
be done whether you are aided or not and
ultimately after this lecture and
certainly after this series everyone is
going to be able to walk away with this
dayto-day tool that will help them
become a better Jew and perhaps even
aid.
It's been a big to learn this series
with you guys and this is just another
mountain of Torah that we go on until
the next mountain.
So in the section 17 of the katan says
as follows.
Whenever you are not involved in Torah
study or prayer, you should learn to
commit to memory those passages that
people need to know by heart such as
that's
we talked about a few weeks ago or a few
months ago. The blessing over the new
moon
These are different prayers that we say
on a regular basis whether it's every
Friday night you know for Shabbat or
it's uh during the times where there is
tikun or the blessing of the new moon
you should also think about the positive
mitzvah of
koshim to you
I will be sanctified as written earlier
See here
says a whole lot
with very few words as it has been
throughout this entire
and we're going to delve into these
words to truly understand
what applies to us and how it does.
First and foremost, if we look at the
first six words of Katan's last section
where he tells us
whenever you are not involved in Torah
or study Torah study or prayer
in so many words, what is telling us is
that
whenever you're not involved in Torah or
prayer, do all of these other things.
meaning that you should always be
involved in Torah or prayer in some way
or another.
We wake up in the morning, we have to
make prayers. We then pray the
of course at some point person has to
make time to learn Tawrah. Whether it's
early in the morning, later in the day,
whatever it is, but you have to make
time to learn Torah.
Every time you eat, before you eat, you
can't be like a beast of the field. You
have to make a blessing,
somebody has to relieve themselves, go
to the bathroom, have to make another
blessing.
In the afternoon, you say the prayer,
then the
learn again.
In so many words throughout the day a
person is
constantly involved in
but is telling us
in between those times
when you're not learning Tua
and you're not praying
that time is what I'm referring to. Now,
of course, the lifestyle of some people
is very different than others. Some
people are the norm, which is they wake
up in the morning, they pray, they go to
work,
they work all day,
they come back home 5, 6, 7:00, they're
tired, have dinner, talk to the wife and
kids.
They don't have a whole day comprised of
Torah learning. Certainly, they still
have an obligation to fit Torah within
that day,
but nonetheless, they're not learning
Torah all day. While others are Torah
scholars
and their entire world is Torah,
whether it's learning in the morning,
learning in the afternoon, teaching,
whatever it is, that's their that's
their vocation. That's their job.
But of course you see that there's a
significant difference in the day of the
Torah scholar versus the average person.
But is not talking to just the Torah
scholar
like this entire series. He's talking to
everyone whether Torah scholar or not
whether or not
because everyone can take something from
it that would apply to their life.
And in essence, he's telling us
whatever time
you're not learning Torah and you're not
praying, you still have to be with a
Torah mindset, with Torah on your mind.
Because if you don't,
you're going to have empty mind. And an
empty mind
will be filled with sins
and things that lead to problems like
anxiety.
Now of course this is not just our
conclusion.
This is what their are saying. This what
was saying
the
first letter.
He gives us a little bit of perspective
of why do some people
have their prayers answered while others
do not?
by first telling us
that what is important
and he says as follows.
This is the first inesh.
We begin with the benediction to bless
and to give thanks to Hashem for he is
good. My soul has heard and was revived
by the good tidings. There is no good
but Torah. The Torah of Hashem is whole.
Referring to the completion of the whole
Talmud in most cities and congregations
of the men of our brotherhood. Gratitude
for the past and request for the future.
Here the Balatana
is writing a letter and in starting this
holy Git with thank you that we all
finished the Talmudi. We all completed
the shas
because there's nothing good but Torah
meaning priority number one two and
three should always have Torah in it
and we complete the sh. Now of course in
today's confusing world
many times you walk into a place that
claims to represent and you see the only
thing that they're reading is perhaps
maybe letters from the Rebi or the
Tanya. And if you tell him, "What about
learning some?"
No, no, no. We focus on the on the Rebi.
Well, the Rebi himself said it, the one
that started Kabad.
Now, you may think, well, maybe this was
like a one-time thing that they studied
it for a long time.
Wrong.
The study of the complete Talmud, which
this letter is referring to, was not an
incidental occasion.
of demanded from his followers that this
should be done annually in every city
and where so applicable by every
congregation of Kabad.
And he continues in this letter and he
says, "Gratitude to the past and
requests for the future. May Hashem
grant us and continue to strengthen
their hearts among the mighty with the
might of Torah in like manners from year
to year and make known to mankind
the might of the oral Torah and its
strong power.
Here
the Tanya the ballot
is telling us is telling isim is telling
anyone that wants to be part of
rule number one for any Jew needless to
say someone that wants to claim to be
aid
is learning the that's the foundation of
our oral but not just learning it once
in a whenever you get a chance. Here
he's saying just like our organization
has had this mission for the last
several years of completing the entire
Talmud Bavi every year.
We've paid hundreds of thousands to
different that took this upon themselves
and Hashem succeeded.
And the biggest success wasn't that they
completed the Tammud Bley in one year.
The biggest success is that after they
saw that they can do it, they continued
even without the money.
We have one of that completes the four
times a year. Another of I think it's
maybe five or six times.
Of course, most people they're fortunate
if they finish it once every seven or 10
or 20 years. But the point being is is
to learn the every day.
That's
of breast famously said to his he wrote
this you can bend my words as much as
you want
but never bend even one.
Sometimes you will go to people that
claim to be breast livers
because they like the fun stuff. They
like the food. They like the dancing.
They like the smiles. They like the
songs. But if you ask them basic level
of Torah, they have no clue. Even though
they claim to be a breast liver for five
or 10 years, they don't actually learn
Torah. The same thing goes with the same
thing goes with non-assidic places. Many
times people claim to be something, but
they don't realize what that something
is.
And the continues
in the same section.
He says that the Torah commands us
commands our people to be close to him,
to cleave to him, to cleave to Hashem.
As it's known, one hour of chuva and
good deeds in this world is better than
all of the life of the world to come.
For the world to come is but a gleam and
reflection of the aspect called
chuva. and good deeds
truly brings am closer to their father
in heaven to his being in essence as it
were
the aspect of infinitude indeed and as
it is written his radiance is upon the
earth and heavens he raises the glory of
his people who has sanctified us
with his commandments and commanded us
all of these different verses is that
the bal is bringing us to let us know
that it's part of learning Torah
is to do chuva is to do good things. You
can't just learn without applying.
Sometimes a person could learn but
nothing changes. That means that you're
not learning properly. You're not
understanding what you're learning or
you're not applying what you're
learning.
But then
if we fast forward a little bit into the
same first section of
What gives the power and strength to the
faculty of the loins to support and
sustain the head and the arms? It is the
occupation with the study of alot in the
oral Torah which is the state and
manifestation of the suppernal will.
here he's telling you know don't just
learn my book
although his book is amazing and as the
uh I believe it was
said how did he fit such a big god into
such a small book
but still even the himself is saying you
want to learn you want to connect to hem
learn the rest of the oral you can't
just spend your whole life learning one
thing in In fact, many were of the
opinion that one that has not delved
into the entire foundation of the Torah,
which is of course the uh the
of course muskim
should not even delve into
the because in many parts of it, it
delves into such deep parts of the Torah
that if a person does not have the
foundational tools, they can become a
picosim.
One story that I just heard from Ira
was the secret behind
organization in the world today. But it
didn't start that way. How did it start?
His father
Mazuz
was a uh
giant.
There was said that there was only one
yeshiva
in uh
in Tripoli over there and it was a kabad
rabbi over there.
So he sent his kids there.
He sent me there and his brother.
But then the boys came home
and told the father that uh they're
learning a
so came told the rabbi listen um why are
you teaching him?
He said no this is what this is kabad
this is what we learn. So I think the
tanya is very deep has cababalistic
teachings in it. It's not for young
kids. they could uh get confused.
It's not for people that I knew. No, no,
this is what we do.
The father saw that there was different
kids coming up with all types of
heretical questions because of their
lack of understanding of what's being
taught in the Tanya and decided to pull
his kids out of uh of the ishiva of
Kabad. And that's how he started his own
school.
Meaning that due to this
particular point, the entire yeshiva an
extraordinary
organization of the
biggest safari yeshiva in the world
today was because of this particular
point. The Tanya is keshim but it's not
for everyone and he himself says it.
You have to learn the foundation.
Unfortunately today one of the ways that
people
get into the to uh into it is their bal
they go to and they say oh you want to
learn some it has kabala and it has all
types of mystical things and it's very
enticing. They don't realize that this
is not for them.
This is not for you. You're going to
hunt sharks and you don't even know how
to swim yet.
How are you going to hunt a shark if you
don't know how to swim?
Now moving on to the next point.
The balatana also dealt with people from
all walks of life
and sometimes people
would uh tell him that uh their uh
prayers
are not being accepted.
said
look
tell us
that just like
said
whenever you are not involved in Torah
study and prayer meaning Torah before
prayer why because Torah is priority
so whenever you see that your prayers
are not being accepted they're not being
answered
is because
is close to all those who call him to
all those who call him truthfully. And
what does it mean truthfully?
Means with
says the
if your prayers are not being answered,
that's because they're not coupled with
Torah.
That's because you're not learning
Torah. You're just praying. You're just
saying stuff that you want. You have no
idea who, what, when, and how. You just
want stuff. You just go to S. You got
used to it. But when it comes to the sh
you leave. When it comes to you're not
available. When it comes to the couple
of that the rabbi says in between
prayers, you're not even paying
attention. So your prayer
is not coupled with Torah. It's just you
pray.
In fact says at the end of this he first
section
instruction to his
and this is what he says.
On all weekdays,
businessmen who do not have so much time
should not be the kazanim should not
descend before the ark to lead the
prayer.
Only from those who have time, either
teachers or those that are supported by
their parents, whoever has time, who are
able to prolong the morning prayer at
least
an hour and a half on all weekdays
should be the ones allowed to be theim
according to or by consent of the
majority. In so many words, if you don't
have at least an hour and a half to lead
the prayer as the Kazan,
don't be the
if you're in a hurry, you want to make
it a quick prayer. By the time he says,
I don't want you to be don't be
further. He says this he should gather
about him all those who are supported by
their parents or teachers who are able
to prolong it just like himself. This
arrangement should not be ch changed. I
beg and beseech you meaning getan
getanim get as many people as possible
that are able to pray at least an hour
and a half every morning on weekdays.
Don't focus on the people that are in a
hurry because they have to go and they
don't want to they don't really like to
pray. They just want to make a quick
half hour and get out. No, no, no. He
says my my kot
only somebody that could pray for an
hour and a half is allowed to be
on Shabbat and on the festivals.
All of the businessmen
have the time and the opportunity to
prolong their prayers with the devotion
of the heart and the soul of Hashem to
Hashem. Moreover, there is the duty to
do so with exceeding uplifting and
abundant strength
as it says in
and as it's written in Moshe where it
says six days you shall work and on the
seventh day of is Shabbat to Hashem your
God stating expressly that Shabbat is
holy to Hashem. on Shabbat or the
Khagim,
they too can descend before the ark,
meaning to be the Kazanim according to
the lot or by ascent of the majority as
I wrote last year. So here he's saying,
listen, the businessmen, we're not
saying you're never allowed to be the
Kazan. We're simply saying that since
you have to leave, you can't pray for an
hour and a half, you're in a hurry, you
can't be the during the week, but on
Shabbat, you're not working.
On Shabbat, you're not working. So on
Shabbat you could be the Kazan because
on Shabbat it's much longer than an hour
and a half
and you already know that.
And then he says something that's truly
spectacular showing the power of the and
how they laid the
and it should be made known says the
Tanya
that bezem
God willing it is my intention to send
spies.
Yes, he said this to send spies secretly
to all congregations
to find out and to inform about anyone
that is able and about anyone that has
the time to prolong and meditate on
prayer but is slotful.
He shall be punished by estrangement
to be pushed away with both hands when
he comes hether to hear the words of the
living God. And from the negative, you
can infer the positive.
But with those that shall obey it will
be well, and the blessing of goodness
shall come unto them. There is no good
but
the
inad
he's not just giving listen you should
pray an hour and a half it's good for
you advice. No
he's giving a command. He said first and
foremost
on weekdays only someone that can pray
for an hour and a half. No one that's in
a hurry. You're in a hurry not allowed
to be
two on a week on the Shabbat and
holidays since everybody is not working.
Everybody Shabbat and the nobody's
driving to on Shabbat in those days.
You have all the time of the day you
even the businessman can be aan as long
as it's accepted by the majority that
you're fit. You fit what what's required
to be aan.
Not like some kilot where the guy is
intermarried to and and still
furthermore
this is not just advice in fact says
I'm going to send my as spies to all of
the different of because he had a lot of
I'm going to send myim to different kot
and they're going to see who's here
that can pray. We know this guy. We've
been here for a while. We know he's not
in a hurry. He could go to work whenever
he wants. He could do whatever he want.
He doesn't have to uh leave after only a
45minut prayer.
So, he's not praying. He's just he just
doesn't want to pray.
They're going to inform me about those
people and I'm going to punish them.
How? When they come to me, I'm going to
push them away with both hands. Why?
What? You have time to come see the
Rebi, but you don't have time to see
Hashem. You don't have time to pray to
Hashem. Get out of here. I don't want
you.
This is Kabad. This is the real Kabad.
Now, of course, we live in a world
that's very different today where
unfortunately the majority of the people
that attend,
needless to say, is not exactly inim
they're not exactly people that pray for
an hour and a half every single day. But
at least it gives us an understanding of
what realidut is
because only once you have clear
knowledge of what the truth is can you
identify falsehood.
And now we also understand why the
balata said that when somebody's prayer
is not being accepted, it's not that
there's a problem with the words that
you're saying, but rather there's a
problem with the Torah that you're not
learning. Because if your Torah is
coupled
with prayer and prayer is coupled with
Torah, your prayers will be answered.
Why? because your prayers are considered
bit, your prayers are considered
truthful.
But if your Torah is simply just words
coming out of your mouth
without any Torah that you've learned,
then of course it's not truthful.
Now the
in
page 63
gives us
another aspect that we have to take into
consideration when it comes to Torah
study.
Because all of what is saying and what
the bal is saying is that
Torah study for Israel is not a
elective. It's an obligation. Both men
and women of course men have a much
bigger obligation to study every day.
But women also have to study the things
that are relevant to them. Whether it's
laws of modesty, family purity, mus
weekly para
can't be a complete ignoramis and still
be a kosher Jew.
And especially women that have a lot of
time on their hands,
they should spend as much time as
possible watching Torah
or reading books of Torah that have to
do with day-to-day life and not just
chitchatting and going to coffee every
five minutes because they're trying to
burn time.
Because if they don't learn Torah, they
also will have
nothing in their minds.
And as we said, when you don't have
Torah in your mind, something else
replaces it, whether it be anxiety or
sins.
And sometimes
when I communicate with different people
that
I've been talking to for a long time,
students of mine, I can usually tell
very quickly if they've been watching my
lectures or not.
Of course, when they became students,
they were avid listeners.
They watched many of them. They
commented on many of them.
They asked about many of them. But then
there comes a time where
that changes for different reasons that
the convinces them not to watch.
whether it's because they're chasing
money or because they think that they uh
have something else, whatever it is.
But interestingly enough,
at some point or another, sometimes it's
a month later, sometimes it's years
later, they come back around. But
usually when they come back, they come
back with a lot of problems and all of
the other options they went to failed.
So they come back to the one option that
used to work when they actually used it.
But the answer is as follows.
Page 63A says,
"Anyone who weakens himself from the
word of words of Torah, he will not have
strength to stand in a day of distress."
As it says in a Proverbs 24:10,
says,
"If you have weakened yourself, then on
a day of distress, your strength will be
constricted
in so many words, the is telling us
outright,
the more you weaken your Torah study,
the more the problems will bother you.
You will not you had strength to deal
with pro. It's not like some people live
with no problems just because they learn
Tawra.
You live in this world, you'll have
problems to deal with. But when you have
Torah
and you've taken that upon yourself,
the Torah fights for you as the
says
page 99 that the as you take the
burden of Torah and toil in Torah, the
Torah itself would fight for you and
toil for you in other places.
But when a person weakens their Torah
less, their Torah uh uh lectures, their
Torah books, they weaken, they're study
less now. All of a sudden, they feel
like, "Oh, I can't deal with these
problems. Maybe this is a new yet. Maybe
this is new problems." No, no, it's
nothing new. It was always there. Your
Torah weakened. Your problems
have strengthened.
I'm sorry.
said in the name of
he says this is true even if one has
weakened himself in performance of only
a single mitzvah
meaning not only from learning Torah
that if you learn less Torah all of a
sudden you can't handle your problems
but in fact even if someone has become
weaker in one of the mitzvot all of a
sudden they don't feel like saying
all of a sudden they don't protect their
eyes like they used to.
You weaken yourself in one of the
mitzvot
the problems
become stronger as a result of it.
Now
the is not here to give us
just things that
are going to entertain us. They're
telling us life lessons that if a person
were to apply them properly, it could
transform their life.
But we can see the words of the bala
who said that if the prayers are not
being answered, it's because there's
lackings in Torah
and what of said of how you have to
anytime you're not learning Torah, you
still have to think about Torah
and how the itself is telling us that we
have to make sure not to weaken
ourselves.
The page 32b says
in the name of
whoever prolongs his prayer and
contemplates it, meaning that he's
expecting that his prayer is going to be
granted due to the fact that he prayed
for a long time.
He will get punished for this instead.
with a heartache. Meaning that he'll be
disappointed.
What's his cure? The cure is let him
occupy himself with the study of Torah.
As it says,
but the tree of life is the desire
fulfilled. And there's no tree of life
other than Torah.
So then the says what? there's a
difficulty.
On one hand, you're saying that
this applies when he prolongs his prayer
and assumes that it's going to be a
favorable outcome.
It's not good. But then you're saying
that
he prolongs his prayer but doesn't
expect an outcome. What's what's the uh
what's the catch here? Says, "No, no,
no. If he prolongs his prayer
because he learned Torah and as a result
of his learning Torah,
he now is more connected to Hashem and
he wants to pray to him even more and he
wants to cleave to him more. Then that's
good. That's the solution. That's why we
said learn Tawa. We're not saying pray
shorter. What we're saying is don't pray
if you don't have Torah to back you up.
Because if you pray Torah, pray
without even trying to learn Torah, you
will be disappointed.
Because
while the
prayer is the seed,
the Torah is the rain.
again shalom had a in his co that got
the mal got the cancer.
He had all the alim learn and pray
and they prayed and prayed and prayed
but unfortunately it didn't work and the
died.
Soon as they buried him, he told Abraim,
they came back to the call. Okay, we're
gonna have a sh What? Rabbi, we just
came back from burying him. We're gonna
have a sh now. Okay. Everybody got
together and again rebukes all the
right after they buried their another
they used to study with, he used to
learn with,
he's rebuking them. Do you know why our
prayers didn't work?
Our prayers didn't was supposed to work.
We pray to Hashem.
We learned to was supposed to work. Why
didn't it work? Because we've become
weaker in our Torah learning. We didn't
learn enough Torah
for our prayers to work.
Many times a person can pray, but if
they're not
if they're not toiling in Torah, if
they're not connected to the Torah,
unfortunately,
their prayers will not be answered.
Now
the Batana is clearly telling us
that
we need
our prayers to work and the tool that's
going to make it work is Torah learning.
Here we see a very different aspect of
than unfortunately what you see in the
world today. where many times that's
represented to people doesn't have that
people like Manis Friedman make fun of
Torah scholars
he insults them in his book he insults
them in his lectures he insults
religious people on a regular basis
but
It's very important to know
that although there's a lot of falsehood
out there, there's a lot of fakers out
there.
That's not
that's not breast. That's not any other
that's just the bad people within it
that make the most amount of noise.
Because still to this day has many and
breast has many
that delve into in our
in our bet and give
there's a uh guy coming to the shul
every day
and uh
after prayer he starts
opens the he's not he works but After
prayer, he starts opening the books and
starts learning for a little while
before he goes to work.
And he asked our
some questions about very difficult
parts of the
next day again. The next day again
asked him are you uh you're not are you
are you do you want to be an or are you
studying for some type of uh
the guy says to him no he said no
because I ask you because usually
is usually only studied by people that
are either trying to be a
why are you studying it he says what do
you mean raman of breastlip said you
have to learn the entire
That's what I'm doing.
That's a real breast lover. That's a
real
It's in the past it was the norm and
today it's abnormal that when you see it
it's like wow. There's another that I've
met a few times here in America.
I witnessed with my own eyes. There was
one time a uh place I used to give
lectures in
and uh sometimes the guys after the
lecture they would ask me different
questions meetings different things that
they need help and sometimes we'd be
there till 1 2 3:00 in the morning
and the first time I saw this guy is as
I was leaving the place it was almost
3:00 in the morning after finishing all
the meetings and guidance and everything
else as I'm leaving the place at almost
3:00 in the
this Sadik is coming.
So was he's coming 3:00 in the morning.
So maybe it's a one-off thing. I maybe
something happened.
Next time also again I was there late
and as I'm leaving almost 3:00 in the
morning, he's coming in
and this continued. I was there. I think
I went to that place for maybe a couple
years. every time I was there.
At one point I met him and spoke to him
and but I found out this is what he
does. This
comes and starts his learning at 3:00 in
the morning leaves his wife and kids
comes to the bet midash 3:00 in the
morning to start his
start his learning. That's breastlift.
That's the real breast lift. It's not
the people that are dancing in the
middle of the street or the people that
uh look like they're uh runway models
and they have a few clever things to say
and they tag the name breast live on it.
No, we're talking about people that toil
in Torah.
So among the fake there's many good.
Therefore, you can never say all of all
of breast is bad because there's many
that are good. Unfortunately,
they're harder and harder to find.
Not because they don't exist, but
because they're busy in their uh
now
a person has to always remember
as Ravilinski
said,
remember what the Rambam said
in
chapter one number five, every single
Jew, whether rich, poor, healthy or
sick, young or aged and infirm, even a
popper who has to beg for charity or a
man with many family obligations is
required to set fixed times for Torah
study day and night.
As a prophet
Yeshua Benoon in Sephosha chapter 1
verse number 8 says you shall meditate
on it day and night.
Meaning that learning Torah is not a
recommendation for a Jew. It's not a
suggestion for a Jew. It's not even a
good idea. It's simply an obligation of
a Torah.
Now when a person does not take this to
heart, does not do it,
then what of is warning us about
starts applying to them because he says
in every moment that you're not involved
in Torah study,
you should commit to memory these
passages.
Whether it's
why why why should you remember these
things?
Because when you don't have Torah in
your mind,
something else will replace it. All of a
sudden, you're worried about
anti-semitism.
All of a sudden, you're worried about
your bank account. All of a sudden,
you're worried about whether your spouse
is cheating on you. All of a sudden,
you're worried if your business partner
is going to cheat or rob or steal or
this or the customers are going to
leave. You have all of these things that
exist anyway.
But Hashem is taking care of them.
When your mind is empty of Torah, they
start bothering you.
And if that's not bad enough,
when a person is full of anxiety
and worries about their finances, about
their loneliness, about their whatever
it is that's happening that's not
connected to the Torah, what ends up
happening is that they start becoming
more inclined
to sin.
All of a sudden, they want to drink. All
of a sudden they want to go to a
nightclub. All of a sudden they want to
gamble. All of a sudden they want to
make all types of different sins.
Why? Boredom leads to sin. But he's not
bored. He's full of stress and agony and
he's difficulty. Yeah. Yeah. Bored of
mind. A mind that's not full of is
bored.
And therefore says I understand that
you're not allim that are learning at
3:00 in the morning and not delving into
day and night. I understand but you too
have to protect yourself.
You too have to protect yourself. So
knowing the fact that you're not able to
learn for 10 15 hours a day
doesn't absolve you from the obligation
to protect yourself against bad things.
So how can you do it? Simple.
Take to heart
that you have to remember something of
Torah at all times. Whether it's certain
psalms,
you know, one by heart, two of them by
heart, three of them by heart. Say them
in your head all the time. Say them out
loud if you want. Instead of having an
empty mind, thinking about the
government, thinking about what's going
to happen with Iran, what's going to
happen with the neighbor, what's going
to happen with the stock market. Think
about taim. Say in your mind.
Say an
different you know say different verses
different verses you know you know verse
different verses maybe it's the verse
for your name maybe it's a verse that uh
you know that you just simply remember
whatever it is don't leave your mind
empty. Why? It's empty. It becomes
vulnerable to all the worst things.
There was one time
a guy that came to Salant and told him,
"Rabbi, listen. I hear everything you're
saying, but I need I need help with the
solution of how I can learn Torah."
So say, "What's the problem?" He says,
"Well, I don't know how to read. I don't
know how to write. So, how could I learn
Torah?
So he says sister, well how do you keep
me if you don't know how to read and
write? He says listen everything I saw
my father do I do. I saw him in the
morning he woke up and he said
I remembered it and then he washed his
hands and then he did a blessing. So I
do it. Then after that I saw he puts on
and then he made a blessing. So I do the
same thing. Before he ate he made a
blessing. So I do the same thing
on Shabb didn't light fire. So I don't
light the fire. Whatever I saw my father
do, I do it. But I don't know how to
read. I don't know how to write. I don't
know nothing. How could I learn to
send this to this poor Jew? No problem.
You could learn Torah. How?
You can learn Torah by simply repeating
everything you do.
What do you do in the morning? I I wake
up. I say say that
okay after that what do you do I do say
that say I do in the morning in the
morning you wake up you do and you wash
hand one hand one hand one hand one hand
not like when you do with the bread
where it's three and three that's
you put on the filling say a blessing
that's when you're saying the things
that you do those are those are laws of
that's learning Tora
In fact,
the teach us
that
if a person
doesn't know much dua,
but he wants to have a verse in his mind
and the only verse
that he remembers
is in Beres chapter 36:22.
says
that verse is Lutan's sister was Timna.
If anybody remembers Timna is the mother
of Amalik but the verse says Lutan
sister is Timna
says if the only thing you remember is
that say the verse that's a verse in the
Torah and in fact
the Yeshua says there's no difference
between the verse
Lutan sister is Timna
and the Israel or the Ten Commandments.
Why? They're all verses in the Torah.
And they all contain wondrous secrets of
the Torah
that are incomprehensible.
Whether it's
that in the beginning, Hashem created
the heaven and the earth or it's sister
or it's
or it's the different commandments. I am
Hashem your God took you out of Egypt.
Whatever verse you remember, all of
those verses are the same thing, same
significance, not one over another.
That's why the Rambam says it's
forbidden for a to stand up when the bal
is reading from a Torah and he's reading
the Ten Commandments. Why? Because
you're treating the Ten Commandments as
if they're more significant than any
other verse in the Torah. All of the
verses in the Torah, all of the letters
in the Torah, whether it's the names of
the descendants of or the descendants of
Adam or Yakinu or whatever it is, they
all have the same level of significance.
They all have to be observed. They all
have to be respected. They all have to
be sanctified. Everything is
in fact if a person only remembers
sister is he will still get rewarded for
Torah learning as long as he repeats it
constantly. In fact, he even says say it
out loud. Even if there's people next to
you, you could just whisper it. But at
least say something instead of allowing
your mind to be empty because if it's
empty, terrorists, spiritual terrorists
will enter it.
The says the Satan is so evil that even
his creator who called him evil.
And the Satan's ultimate way, ultimate
goal is to destroy you. But he doesn't
go for the destruction on day one. What
does he do? He tries to destroy your
time first.
get you to get away from Torah, get you
to waste time on things that you don't
need to do, things that are
simply a waste of time.
Anyone that watched the film we made
recently, the mitzvah of the Satan,
if you haven't watched it, highly
recommend you watch it. If you have
watched it, you should watch it again.
Give you an extra.
But the Satan doesn't go for the jugular
on day one. Doesn't try to kill a person
right away. He tries to kill their time.
Tries to kill and destroy their time in
any way possible. Why? Because the more
time he destroys
and you ends up wasting,
the less Torah there is to be learned in
that day.
And worst than all, if he's allowing
the Satan to enter his mind
and let him waste time, then the Satan
also has free access to put whatever
else he wants in this person's mind. All
of a sudden, he's worried about
the uh global uh financial situation,
the geopolitical situation. All of a
sudden, he's worried about his uh
neighbor. All of a sudden, he's worried
about the the car. Maybe he wants a new
one. Maybe an old one. Maybe uh new
tires. Maybe I should mow the lawn.
Maybe I should uh make the trees look
nicer. All of a sudden, he starts
putting ideas in the person's head just
to get him away further and further from
a Torah. And once in a while, he puts a
mind there. He puts a mind a heretical
thought. He puts some a mind in there of
why is God doing this to me or why this
all types of heretical thoughts.
It's an empty mind. It's open for
business of the Satan.
And therefore says whether you are aided
or you're not protect yourself. You have
a mitzvah obligation to protect
yourself.
you have to protect preserve your soul.
So if you're able to learn Torah, then
learn as much as possible. But if you
find yourself in a situation where
you're working all day, you find
yourself in a situation where you're
busy with the kids all day, you find
yourself in a situation where you have
to attend to all types of errands, you
have to go to the supermarket, you have
to go to some government office, you
have to go to wherever it is that you
need to do during that time where you're
on the way. During that time where you
don't have to interact with people,
during that time where it's just time
where you are just thinking,
don't let yourself think about anything
other than Torah, whether it's a verse
in a Torah that you remember or that you
remember,
Torah that you anything that's connected
to the Torah. Why? At least that's going
to allow your mind to be occupied with
holy Torah and not with foolishness that
could literally destroy you where
instead of going to the department of
motor vehicles to get a license, you'll
end up going to a bar and make 500
million sins where it's going to take
you 20 years to do chuva for them.
If you knew
what kind of what kind of things people
tell me that they need to do chuva for,
literally you you'd cry blood from the
things that people need to do chuva for.
Married men, married women, young
people, old people, all types of things.
What people have done to themselves
literally they've literally destroyed
themselves.
But they want to do chuva.
At least they want to do chuva. But it's
not easy to do chuva.
But how do they get to those places,
those far away places? It all starts
with empty mind.
An empty mind is simply target number
one of the Satan to put all types of
junk in there.
That's why you see usually the people
that fall for the heresy or the
idolatry, whether it's Christianity or
Manis Freedman, there's really no
difference between the two. The people
that fall for those traps are usually
people that unfortunately are not
exactly Torah scholars to say it nicely.
Now
after that
tells us
don't waste time. Learn to uh pray even
when you're not able to pray.
Think about Torah thoughts.
But also remember what I said in the
beginning of this satan about the
mitzvah of I shall be I will be
sanctified.
What is this? This is delving into the
thoughts of how to sanctify yourself.
Whether it's sanctifying yourself in
regards to kaduca,
protecting your eyes, not looking at
things that are not modest, not looking
at immorality, not being part of
immorality,
or it's sanctifying yourself when it
comes to food,
literally making sure that you eat to
live and not live to eat. There's a
whole segment of this series about that.
There's also a whole segment about that.
In the uh Jewish intimacy series, we did
literally comprehensive
teachings about the whole aspect of
eating. Between this series and a series
about
of the Ramban, a person could become
much holier even if it's just applying
the teachings to their food of how to
eat, what to eat, when, why.
So says
thinking about those foot
of how to sanctify yourself.
When it comes to the times where you're
alone with your wife, you're alone with
your husband.
Think about how it could become more
holy and not more anim animalistic.
Anyone
that goes back to that lecture in the
series where talks about sanctifying, he
says even when you are
laying in your bed
and you want to go to sleep but you
can't, it's just not happening right
away.
Sometimes some people it takes them a
while, 5, 10, 20 minutes, a half hour.
Don't just waste that time
sitting there
for 40 minutes. Think in your mind about
how you would love to die on and how
you're dying on. I mean again this is
elevated. This is for much higher level
people than the average. But the point
being is that is what is meaning to
elevate
yourself starts with elevating your
thoughts your mind with more Torah
because if a person is not elevating
themsself
they're simply going to
go down. Now, today there's so many
corrupt
teachings out there
that some are presenting
quick fixes to your problems. How?
They're not telling you how you should
behave every day. Follow Torah and
mitzvot. No, no. They're simply telling
you come to some seminar where we're
going to tell you you can meditate with
us, do all types of strange moves and
make strange sounds and then listen to
some voice of the speaker on the stage
tell you all type of things that sound
nice and that's going to make you relax
right before they try to sell you drugs.
This is exactly it. They try to calm you
down, make you feel better about your
miserable life, and then they try to
sell you drugs,
but they say, "No, no, the drugs, it's
not really drugs. It's it's it's a uh
it's hallucinagens, though." Yeah, but
it's not really hallucinate. Yeah, it's
really hallucinagens, but we have
doctors that that oversee it. Doctor or
no doctor? It's an elusagen.
It could kill the person. It can make
them go crazy. It's forbidden by the
Torah. No, no. It actually could it
could potentially elevate their
spirituality.
If they take this acid or they take this
other drug that's that's illegal, then
maybe they'll they'll even feel God. Did
Rashi take these drugs? No. Did Mosher
Abenu take these drugs? No. Abrainu? No.
No. No. Who took it? Other than you.
Other than you false people? Who?
But that's today. Today why why they why
is this cell happening? Because people
don't want to work on their mind on a
regular basis. They don't want to work
on their time management to learn Torah
on a regular basis. They want quick
fixes. What's a quick fix? The same
thing in the secular world unfortunately
has breached into the religious world.
What is it? Drugs.
That's actually what's happening.
If you want big solutions to big
problems, there is no quick fix.
What is telling us here, in fact,
the fix is so big
for that big problem that in order for
you to fix it, you have to start
becoming a micromanager of your time.
What are you doing with every second of
your day? wake up in the morning with a
plan of how to utilize the 86,400
seconds that are in every 24 hours. So
you don't have
the disastrous situation where you
arrive in Shamim and all of these
seconds come to attack you and tell you
wasted me. You burned me. Why didn't she
use me to learn about Hashem? Why didn't
she use me to at least think about
Hashem? Why didn't you use me to say
taim or at least a verse? Why didn't you
put on rabbi rub to watch a Why didn't
you use me instead? What did you use me
to think about Iran? To think about
kamas to think about uh the the
pornography. Why did you why? Why? Why
did you waste me?
Every second will come as a prosecution.
Why? That's what the tell us. every
there's a special mala that counts every
second of your life and is going to
report to you what did you do.
So this not only shows us that the
judgment in heaven is very different
than what most people think but it also
shows us there's no such thing as quick
fix.
There's no such thing as quick fix.
There's quick problems but no quick
fixes.
the people that are preaching quick
fixes by meditating and then taking
drugs or meditating and then subscribing
to some seminar for $5,000 where you
don't really know if it's any different
than what you're going to get for free
from your local rabbi. Needless to say,
from shim that we've had over the years,
people are falling for the trap. Why?
Because they are making themselves pray
for the beasts
by not allowing themselves to
realize big problem requires big fixes.
There's no quick solution. There is no
quick solution. And if you do not start
thinking that way that you have to
occupy your mind with words of Torah in
some way or another whether it's
watching a constantly or reading a book
constantly or remembering certain taim
by heart or certain prayers by heart or
certain by heart or something to delve
into the Torah, you are putting yourself
in jeopardy from wasting time to think
about things that will make you anxious.
Wasting time to make you think about
things that will make you sin. Wasting
times about things that will make you
depressed. Wasting times into things
that will make you a heretic. Absolute
heretic that loses.
Only bad options are available in a
world where your mind is wasted.
Only bad options. There is no good
option.
It's either small sins, big sins,
anxiety,
idolatry, only bad things. Why? An empty
mind. Target number one of the Satan.
This is also why the
said that even before you come and learn
Torah, take a minute and do chuva for
not learning Tua as much as you're
supposed to. Because that way when you
learn Torah, the Torah sees that you did
chuva, that you said, "I'm sorry. I
wasn't with you as much as I should."
The Torah will accept you easier and
it's going to be easier for you to learn
Torah. In so many words, the Torah is
like a woman where you can't just uh not
call her for 6 months and then expect
her to pick up your call. Doesn't work
that way.
You can't leave your wife for five years
without writing any letters and then
show up. Hi honey, I'm home. Doesn't
work that way. Doesn't work that way.
The Torah is no different. If you have
wasted time and you have not learned to
before you start learning, the says do
I'm sorry to I'm sorry I did not learn
to please forgive me. Please forgive me.
Let me learn to where I could actually
understand it where I could actually
remember it.
And that's why
that I already mentioned
says to us
that we can't be so foolish to think
that we could solve our own problems.
We need the Torah's help.
And says in page 99B,
if a person toils in the study of Torah,
the Torah will toil for him.
for he is settled in his mouth to it.
The verse is teaching us that a person
that toils in Torah
in this world then his Torah in essence
the Torah and knowledge that he learned
and constantly reviewed will toil in his
behalf in other places meaning in Shim.
But further than that, Rashi says,
the Torah toiling for him is number one,
it could solve his problems.
Problems he has with the IRS.
Instead of the IRS sending him a bill of
$300,000 that he didn't even know he'd
owes, now all of a sudden the IRS gives
him a refund for 17,000.
Or better yet,
Torah's secrets become available to him
even though he's not at the level to
acquire those secrets. Why? You toiled
for it. You toiled for me. I'm going to
give you some gifts. I'm going to give
you some gifts.
Now, this also means
that a person
that takes this to heart
is going to benefit
in the fact that they're going to
remember their Torah. How many times
have people asked me over the years, how
could I remember? I learn, I learn, and
I forget everything.
Well, guess what? One of the greatest
blessings that a person can get is to
remember the Torah that he has.
And even though there are different
including my own RAM that have written
about different strategies to remember
Torah,
ultimately everyone says the same thing
which is toiling in Torah
will enable you to acquire the Torah
where the Torah is going to allow itself
to be remembered by you.
But if a person
expects to learn everything. They watch
and they watch it like it's the news
and then they expect to remember what it
says. It's not going to work. I've said
to guy to people 50 million times over
the years. If you're watching my shim
like it's the news, it's not going to
stick.
It's not going to stick. You may be
excited by one or two things that I've
said, but then you'll forget it. The way
you should watch is yes, the first time
you watch it. If you watch it live,
great. Try to write some notes, few
pointers, different things that stood
out. If not, do it after. Review the sh
again. Study it like a book. Meaning
different things that stood out for you,
different things that you like,
different things you want to remember.
Write them down. Write a short sentence.
Start building up notebooks of notes.
Not only is this going to help you
remember it because you're now using
multiple senses. And each time you use a
different sense, it's like you reviewed
it. Initially, you heard it. That's one
sense. Then you wrote it. That's a sense
of touch. Then you saw it. That's a
third sense. So you have multiple senses
that you're using. That's like you
review the same verse, the same
statement three times.
But furthermore, when you commit things
to writing, you tend to remember them
better.
Now, this is not to say you should write
every word that I say. Point is to write
the things that stand out to you.
The more you toil, the more you'll
remember. The more you remember, the
easier it is going to be for you to
apply it.
But this also means that even if someone
is not the average person that's having
a tough time with learning Torah or with
thinking proper thoughts,
even if the person is aid
is in the world of
they still have to deal with this
and make sure that their mind is clean
and is constantly thinking of Torah
because
who says that what you're learning is
what you're understanding.
And that's one of the things we saw and
we wrote about
in this
where you see it's not just highlighting
the heretical thoughts
of this
menace
but it's also seeing how he manipulated
the verses how he manipulated
the teachings
where
there should literally be
20 million Jews
and billions of others that believe in
the Torah. That should make him enemy
number one for the things he said.
First,
he says
these are his words. We're quoting him
from his book, from his videos, all of
public information.
He says God is divided into three.
One of them does handles the creation.
Just like we say is elenu
there. These are two names for God.
and Elohim in so many words he says the
is a contradiction because says
here O Israel Hashem our God hem is one
manis freedman says no no no this is two
god this is two parts of god in so many
words what he says he says it's three
but it's really one but it's one that's
really three where is this from this is
from Christianity
this is what he says in his in his in
his videos
the whole hashem needs you thing is
literally if you look at the list of of
heretical statements he made, this is
like one of the smallest ones among
them.
It's still one of the one of the big big
crimes he continues to make and build
on, but he says things that are worse
and worse,
but nobody says anything about it.
or that he says that God has a real hand
and you are the uh parable, you are the
mush.
This is another heretical
statement against the 13 principles of
faith.
Now,
one of the things that
he says on a regular basis,
there's no punishment.
He writes this and he says this, there's
no punishment. We don't deserve to be
punished because God brought us to the
world. He's he's at fault.
Or he says, don't be religious. It only
creates problems.
These types of statements
are not only heretical
for against the Torah,
they are heretical even against the
teachings of
now he says he's a follower of the
Labavi
but the Labavi
is not his teacher.
Because the says the exact opposite of
what he says
in
the Rebi says,
On the second day, the opposite creation
of of heaven was created
because there had to be a place where
you go down to it.
Hashem had to create gay in order to
create fear of punishment.
Clearly the Rebi is saying what Tora
says, but it's the opposite of what mana
says. So the moment that mana says
there's no punishment, no one's going to
get punished, God's going to say I'm
sorry to that alone should have gotten
20 million Jews
to literally want to stone him.
But you don't.
people continue listening.
He also says that
there's no uh the Holocaust wasn't a
punishment and people always misquote
what the Rebi says about
this is in page 133 of our book.
when it comes to when it comes to fear
of God, there was a certain uh group of
people that came to the Rebi for advice
and he clearly says to them,
he says to this group,
In regards to fearing God,
it should be fear from the punishment of
gay.
Not just
that they'll lose their reward
because part of their servitude of
Hashem has to be to constantly remember
that the day of death will come and at
that time no chuva will help a person.
And what the menzes says about how
how can you burn a soul
can't burn a soul. He famously says this
and laughs about it
in
page 263.
clearly says
from here we learn
was clearly a place
where there's fire
that burns the soul just like you burn
the silver and gold, all the things, all
of the impurities off of it.
So apparently
manism missed this
because he says that gum is just that
you don't feel comfortable. You don't
feel comfortable.
And then Manis famously says as we quote
in page 139
he says no Jew
should be punished not only because we
didn't ask to come to the world says
manis freedman but also because God hid
himself from us for so many years so
it's his fault.
says
also page 263.
What our sages said
that
he chose for for AI is to go into the
exile, go into Egypt
instead of going to Gome
at that time because something was
required to
purify the namote.
and he goes into the details of what
happens to these namote and gay and how
they're burned.
And then for those that say, "Okay,
yeah, but that was back then, but maybe
the Rebi didn't talk about what's
happening now, like no, no, no. The Rebi
specifically says that was in regards to
the first exile. That was the first one.
What about now?" He says the reason why
we are in the exile now is because of
our sins. It's not because God has hid
himself. It's not because he didn't ask
to come to the world. No, no. because of
our sins
that we are not says the
exile is not we're not it's not upon us
because that's what the uh nations
decided rather
it's only because of our own sins we
were exiled from our n from our country
and including the people Jews that are
living in
including the Jews that are in the
exile. This is innat
page 180
in so many words. I would tell you when
you go through this book,
you're going to find not only the
manipulation
and outright lies and heretical
statements of Manis and his followers.
But you're going to find the real
teachings
of the sages
among them the leaders of
among them the among them the zad
among them even the elevated teachings
that are not for everyone which is in
part two of the book also included
but only after you read part one
so people don't think oh no maybe they
don't
The point I'm trying to make here is
that what we've learned from
whether it's the first book that we
published which is gum based on the
teachings of the baltov
which included me
and many other of the great
or it's this bookam
or it's this series which is the
foundation of
as was third generation after the
baltov.
What we've learned from all of this is
that
is beautiful.
Is wonderful.
But unfortunately,
what's being sold to most people
is something that looks like from the
outside,
but is 100% idol worship, Christianity
or other types of heresies inside.
And the only way
for one to protect themselves from
falling into the traps
is by committing time to learning the
real Torah in order to be able to
identify the truth and thereby have a
much easier time staying away from the
falsehood.
This includes
the first segment of the katan all the
way to the end. Whether it's managing
the way a person eats and wakes up and
does mitzvot to even managing their
thoughts on a minuteby minute second by
second basis.
A person doesn't become a heretic in one
second.
It's a gradual process of allowing your
mind to remain empty.
allowing your mind to give an opening to
the Satan
to bring all types of anxieties, all
types of fears, all types of false
responsibilities
and eventually all types of minds of
heresy
of a picul
of things that are foreign not only to
you but to the Torah.
Whether you want to become aided now or
not,
that remains your choice.
But I know that at the end of this
series, every single one of us should
have a clear understanding of what a
real is,
what real is,
and most importantly, what it's not.
and
we're able to follow the ways of the
realim
and continue fighting against those that
misrepresent it
and
bless our ways
to win and sanctify his name. Thank you
very much for learning with me. It's
been a real to learn this series with
you guys. It's been a real to learn this
and continue to grow and
we continue
to sanctify
name and learn all of the ways of the
great sages as says himself
in his anot
the anagot the path to perfection in the
first segment
we'll finish it off with
The first thing you should do is study
with rashi toot and other commentaries
based upon your level of understanding.
Afterward, continue to the authorities
starting with the
you should pray to God to help you
arrive at the truth. For the sins of
your mouth, of your youth can blind you
so that even though you can debate
concepts and instruct others in the law,
you will forget it yourself and not
truly observe it. And therefore, you
should deeply regret your sins and spend
time alone before dawn, which is a
favorable time to cry repeatedly over
the exile of the
You should also spend some time alone
during the day. Picture your sins as
large as hills and mountains standing
before you. For without doing so, you
may never remember them. Nor should you
do this merely once or twice, but
hundreds of times until God has mercy on
you. Pray to him to lead you on the
right path and to teach you his ways so
that you do no squander so you do not
squander your life. In his great mercy
and kindness, God will enlighten you and
the light of his holy Torah so that you
can understand it and fulfill it.
we will be able to fulfill the words of
and the rest of the great
that
not only toiled but sacrificed
everything for the sake of serving hem.
Thank you very much to
