God Protects His Artscroll books during Storm

recuperate so this we what you see behind us here is some of what the zaka team was doing today and trying to clear out the house that had been totally lost uh completely molded over uh everything was wet and everything had to be gutted and removed right um but there was something that didn't get hit you want to tell us a little bit about that well what didn't get what didn't take any damage or all my over there we didn't take any damage for all my Jewish texts and my Bibles well my study Bibles and I spent a lot of money on these books you know because I wanted some quality text to read it's basically um an Interlinear um Interlinear book it has the Hebrew to English in the literal forms so I have these books because you know I have a pastor who teaches us about Israel about blessing the Jewish people and more importantly understanding them so one of my best ways of understanding was reading their text you know what you know what like how do they think like how do they perceive and to me that's important because if I'm to communicate with a Jewish friend I want I have to know how he thinks or he or she thinks and then there's a cohesion going on between the Christian and the Jewish Community because they see that we the Christian friends are making an effort to connect to our Jewish Friends by understanding their texts and the way that they think and the way that they pray just you know you know we we're trying to have we're trying to build a bridge here you know and I understand that even on the Jewish side they're trying to understand the Christian Perspective so were you surprised that this is what what remained actually I was because this was in the house for days and I wasn't able to get to my house until just Friday because the water here lingered and because the water lasted so long I couldn't open any doors to let moisture out so moisture just it it just turned my house into a swamp land and it seemed like every other book like my um other sort of secular books that I had they got destroyed but these all this it lasting it pers the pages are still dry there's no mold on them amazing they're still usable am thank you very much and we wish you all all the luck rebuilding your house uh thank you sir rebuilding your house and your life and uh and we wish you much love much luck going on oh thank you sir thank you very much thank for your service also oh thank you thank you all right
