[Music] great to be back we have another sh in Hollywood um I mean I have a lot of books a lot of material but your questions are much more interesting to me and I think to hasem than my information simply because the key is for you to get your questions answered rather than me just give you a bunch of information that may not necessarily help you or may help you who knows it's all about but uh one thing we can uh start off with is a simple question that every single Jew is obligated to ask themselves doesn't matter if they're brand new to Judaism and they just uh started doing chuva yesterday day or they haven't even started doing chuva or they've already been religious for 20 years or they've been religious their whole life doesn't make a difference this is one of the obligations that torat tells us that every Jew is obligated to do it and that's ask themselves a question when will my maim when will my Deeds get to the same level ofen get to the same level of abrah andov when can I be like them obviously no one can be yov other than yov no one can be AB other than AB no one can be Sarah other than sah but nonetheless the sages tell us that it's an obligation for us to ask ourselves when will we be like them meaning when will I get to my version my own full potential just like and did just like sah ra got to when will I get to the full potential scientists continue to discover new things about the body about the universe we still don't really know much about this planet but we're spending a lot of time and a lot of money investigating other planets but one of the things that uh is interesting is that scientists are pretty much all around the same confirmation or if you will opinion that out of the entire brain that you have at most at most you're using someone in a neighborhood of 10 11% maybe 12% of it maybe 12% of it you're using meaning that 90% of your brain you're not using the club nothing it's going to waste it's going to waste it's not being used it's like a TI in the closet you don't use you only wear it at night you don't have a mitzvah for wearing TI at night in case you don't know it's good it's nice but it's like a waste because you have Mitzvah in the morning why don't you use 90% of the brain because if you did you'd actually never die you never die you never get sick you never get sick dad you in essence get to your full potential now the got to their full potential but the only reason they died was simply because of AD simply because made a sin and he brought death to the world that's it not because had to die K not because had to die ra no one had to die butm said okay that's it finished we have to bring death to the world everyone has a everyone has a limit of how long they're going to live in this world and so on and so forth now what happened what was the whole event that took place is that we all know the famous story that everyone always wonders what kind of tree caused all this trouble in gunen the snake the serpent convinced Eve in English to go eat from the forbidden fruit eat from the Tree of knowledge even though Hashem said no he convinced her that it's okay she did it and then she convinced to eat it and therefore they violated the only mitvah they had and hasem punished them but now it never says what kind of tree it was never says thear says maybe it was a grape tree maybe it was wheat maybe it was wheat it was grapes maybe it was ta fig maybe it was fig and there's actually one opinion from the sages not the but a different book in the sages maybe it's maybe it's a pomegranate which by the way is where the belief that it's an apple tree came from has no one actually ever said it's an apple other than the Christians that's a Christian belief that it's an apple apple tree they got it from because a Aon a um pomegranate looks like an apple so that's what happens when you distort our Torah you get the wrong answers anyway but the question is how come hashm didn't tell us why hasm tell us listen they ate a fig tree they ate a pomegranate tree they ate this tree what he told us everything else he told us they sinned he told us they were naked he told us they got embarrassed he told us the snake caused the whole mess he told us a lot of things why you just tell us what kind of true it's a big deal for to add another word why the says they asked hm they asked hmes they asked AEM hem why don't you tell tell us what kind of tree says I don't want everyone to ever look at a tree and say Ah that's the tree that brought all the problems to the world why it'll bring shame to the tree what shame the tree is alive he has a personality he has a friends he goes to school he uh is not popular they're going to kick him out of the Manan this is to explain to us just how important every single creation that hasem created is even a tree needless to say how important you are so this also leads us back to the question of that hasem brought you to the world to Simply ask yourself when will your actions become like abrah and yov when will you be like them so the question that I'll ask you guys and then you could ask me as many questions as you want is what's it going to take what's stopping you each one of you I'm sure has some type of mental block of what you're not willing to do where's the G Where's the Line Where's the Line oh I'm willing to do this this this and this but this I'm not willing to do maybe next week you will be but right now you're not willing to do it so some guy says I'm willing to do learn go to sh everything but I can't leave my non-jewish girlfriend wait a minute it's a big problem okay why not and he'll tell you the story of why not okay another guy can say I want to do go to sh this but I have to have a cheeseburger that's a big problem okay but why not I'll tell you the story so everyone has a potential to be their own Great Sage and I'll finish it off with this before we start the questions one time there was um the uh students of rabusa asked them what do you want to be like what's your goal you know the whole T back and forth where else where do you want to go because could be zusa one day I hope I could be zusa teach us what do you mean one day gonna Bea right now you're no no I'll be because why what does that mean when I go to Sham they're not going to ask ask me they ask you questions says what questions they ask you if you conducted your business honestly with with if you uh made time for learning to every single day which by the way if you know you should know someone that doesn't make time to learn Torah every single day has no share of the world to come it's not necessarily but people most think that oh he didn't make specific time for learning Torah so that's a a big sin it's not the aspect of not learning Tor like a specific time it's that there's no way that you're going to avoid all the sins if you don't learn to every day there's no way that you're not you're going to keep Shabbat the right way without learning all there's no way you're going to be able to keep any of the laws correctly if you don't learn about them I can tell you from personal experience for the first year and a half maybe even two years of keeping Shabbat I thought I was the greatest Shabbat Keeper in the world I thought I was like making a new Shabbat I thought I was like this is the best shabat my Shabbat is the best Shabbat in the world every sh what on Shabbat what's on Shabbat on Shabbat is enjoying Shabbat I said I'm enjoying Shabbat so much even the sauce for the ja I'm making on Shabbat so I take the uh tomatoes and I'm grinding the tomatoes on Shabbat to make it fresh on Shabbat little do I know foolish me you're not allowed to do it I'm thinking it's onab wow it's a to make sauce on Shabbat now realizing you not have to do it on Shabbat you have to do it on Friday you have to do it on Thursday you have to do it any other day on Shabbat why didn't know I didn't learn albat you understand so that's why they say to say if you don't learn alabat you're definitely guaranteed to violate Shabbat guaranteed so it's very important for a person to learn every single day they're can to ask you in sham so says they're going to ask me all these things but one thing that really I'm I'm scared about I'm really scared about no I'm not scared about no I'm not scared about what are you scared about what are you scared about he says I'm scared when they ask me how come you weren't zusa he goes what do you mean for they're not going to ask me how come you are mosu I'm notu they're not going to ask me how come you w I'm not they're not going to ask me how come you I'm not them they're going to ask me how come I wasn't R zusa meaning they gave zusa a certain amount of potential they gave zusa let's say from one to 100 potential how come I didn't reach 100 how can I reach my full potential how come I didn't get to be zusa why was I only 50% of zusa that's what I'm scared of they gave me the gave me the potential he didn't give me 100 just so I could look at it he didn't give me all the mitv I can look at them all these are nice things to have he gave it to me to do it he gave it to you in your mouth in your heart to do to do the MIT not to look at them oh it's nice one day I'll get there so the question is now we're back to our question again for the third time what's keeping you who's first ready what's your question right saw tree and and he told them no and the snake said yes oh don't believe in God and then and then and then and then he pushed her to the tree and bit it and right they they they did clothes and then they were embarassed and Hashem knew that they went the bush they were just was to get out so he he knows that they are in there he just wants them to get out but they were too embarrassed right why you're asking why he's why is he doing it that way yeah so because Hashem has is a is a god of Mercy when he knows when he knew already that and already made a sin there's no point of scaring them further they knew they sinned he knew they sinned everyone knew that something changed but if he would have just appeared to them and he just immediately attacked them right away said ah you did this this this and this they could easily die from fear and it doesn't serve a purpose and then they can't do chuva they can't fix the sin soem wanted to appear to them as if he doesn't know just to give them an opportunity to admit to give them an opportunity to admit oh we made a mistake we're sorry okay now it's time to fulfill the next Mitzvah new Mitzvah what Mitzvah is that Mitzvah of chv and that's also one of the things that we learned from the beginning of is that initially used he built he created the world originally only with judgment but then he saw obviously sees the future for AEM the past the present and the future is all the same thing it's not like us where we remember the past we're living the future and we hope for the remember the past we live the present and we hope for the future for hem it's all the same thing so hem saw that the creation and what he's about to create canot survive even a single day even a single day if he creates it with just mid why they're going to make a sin unless you're God you have to make a sin you have to make a sin if not there's no free choice even the angels a lot of people think that they're pure robots they think that they're just robots hasm tells them to do something and they do it For Better or For Worse it is that way but it's not meaning they do have free choice but it's not quite the same as ours meaning that the angels we know it from the Torah that a few of them went against hem and hasm punished them so from there we know that they have free choice so they're not quite robots like most people portray them but what's the difference between them and human beings the difference is is that when a angel pun is uh when an angel sins he's punished immediately there's no chuva there's no you know come and admit what you did whereas a human being has the ability to do chuva human being has the ability to repent for the sin so it's great question is that why did hasem come you know come to them so slowly because in essence he wanted to give them an opportunity to do Chua now if someone comes to hasem realizing that they've made a mistake and they come to Hashem at a young age and they start doing Chua then the sages tell us that you get a lot more you got a lot more help from sh when you do Chua at an early age on the other hand if hasem has to wait for you if you will for lack of a better word meaning you've already passed your life you're already 50 60 70 80 years old and finally you realize oh my whole life is fake I have to do chuva then there's less help from sham the younger you are the more help you have from sham to do cha so for example someone does Chua before they're 20 years old or even before they're 25 years old Hashem could literally help them almost 95% of the way on the other hand once somebody gets to their if they're doing serious Chua not if they're doing fake Chua they just go to b a couple times a week and they keep Shabbat serious cha I mean serious tra means M changing their lifestyle on the other hand someone that's in their let's say 30s can get 70% help 70% help from sham somebody in in their 40s 60% somebody in their 50s could be 50% 40% but as it gets older somebody goes in their 70s finally realize the truth you know is in sh and they've lived a lie potentially they could get only 10 or 15% help that's why it's very very hard I'm telling you from experience even though I have a couple of people that are older that have done Chua it's very very difficult for someone that's in their 70s and 80s to do chba very even if they believe you even if they agree with you even if everything you're saying they say I could sign off that you're right it's still very hard for them to change at that point it's become part of their nature and there's less there's less help from sh next question 11% of bra said that they used 90% of more I don't know if it's necessarily 90 but it's a lot more than what we can that prophecy too so that's also a part of the brain that we don't even know exists they okay about without dying okay does that mean that they achieved full brain power I mean it's possible I don't know necessarily that I mean it's a uh it would definitely be a k i mean it's the uh the 10 people that that the G says never died uh was a specific special miracle that hasem performed specifically for them I don't necessarily think it was because of uh brain power or anything like that I don't think anyone anything is because of brain power uh the a had much higher potential than what we can uh and and really a lot of the things that you read in the Paras are not really understandable to us the some of the things that for example uh that you read it from the it's very uh minimal details if you read a little more details in the mid you see this is a very different story but even after you read it in the mid it's still not the whole story what's the example example is when last week's paru was traveling to go to go see his father but before he got to see even it says that he fought an angel all night fought an angel all night who is this Angel the mid says it was Satan himself now in other parts of the Tor it says that the is all the same thing and it's deut it's its image is from literally from the ground all the way to the top of the earth it's full of eyes very very scary it's stronger than anyone that ever existed smarter than everyone that ever existed I mean everything and everything and anything better but yet you're telling me that some guy fought him like how could it be and then you know he couldn't beat him too on top of it yov won you just gave him a last cheap shot at the end it's hard for us to understand such thing meaning the fight wasn't necessarily physical like we think it's physical it's a spiritual battle between asav andov the angel of the angel of yov between the the is a really really mystical aspects of of Judaism that for the most part is not useful for most people simply because it's above and beyond uh the where most people are and two it's not really going to help anybody do chuba and the most important part most important thing that we need to focus on every single day is for is what we're going to learn to do chuba and I think that's one of the mistakes that a lot of people may because a lot of people are very very interested in mystical aspects of Judaism they like to go to you know any and everything that they can learn about the mystical aspects of Judaism which is good and it's fun it's just not going to keep you religious it's not going to keep you religious what's going to keep you religious is fear of the almighty fear of hem understanding what he wants from you understanding what your purpose is so yes it's good to study some of those things as long as that's only a small portion of what you learn in comparison to everything else you learn let's say 20 times more foundation and you could spend some time learning something of this stuff obviously I know a little bit about so I learned it also but the point being is not to spend too much time on it because even after you learn it you still have no idea what's going on that's that's really the truth even after you learn you want to learn Z you want to learn cabala you want to learn the mid whatever you want to learn even after you learn it even after you see all the words on the paper all the ink is spent and all the hours are spent everything is good and the symbols and this and that even after you look at all of it you still have no idea what's going on as a matter of fact the more you learn the less idea you have what's going on really that's how far they are from us so in essence the might as well have been a different planet a different uh everything it's very very far from us a lot of people think oh I can't wait for the msia to come because I want to meet and yob I want to meet and yov and the uh the uh one of the The Story Goes I think rovic asked I believe it was the one of the no not I think it was um asked um one of them actually was the the older one was was opening a school for quim for was a qu and he said uh listen Let's uh you're Coen young younger guy he was older 80 years old already the the ref bonich was just 20 years old uh he says uh come join my Yesa yes for being aen he goes what's it for he goes listen mashia is going to come any day we need to build the bet mikash your Co you know what to do how to doban thisan this you know how to do all those things you you ever learn it we have to go learn it because now I'm not worried how are you not worried he goes oh I know I could just look at you whatever you're doing I'll do the same thing the ra says many years later to his he says what a fool I was I told theor that I'm just GNA watch him see what he's doing I thought that I'm actually gonna have the scoot to even be next to him when the mashiah comes if I come next to him when the mhia come I'll get burned from all those Holiness this is person from just 100 200 years ago we're thinking about everybody I want to meet we not going to be able to be close to them it's a different it's a different different world now this shouldn't discourage anyone we're all on the same boat uh but uh point is is that a lot of this stuff is amazing it's very interesting it's mentally stimulating but it's not going to get you to your dayto day the day-to- day nightmares that people deal with the UPS the Downs the uh depressions the money problems the uh anger the uh whatever all these different things that the tests knowing that yov fought an angel the size of the you know as big as the sky it's not going to keep you in it's not going to keep you in so it's good to know but only as a part of knowledge next is is there any any um schedule any pram that we the the beginners besides of learning T every day I mean learning much we have to follow in order for us to progress I mean beside of also getting the teacher that you kind explain more the type of teacher should select basic basic learning for B cha is as follows first and foremost a person should start off their day obviously by praying once you pray to hm once you pray to already started off your day in the right way now if you're praying to hem at the time that you're supposed to be praying uh then that means you started off your day early but if you're praying to Hashem at 12:00 in the afternoon that means you've already wasted a very important part of the day so first thing is you start off the day early and you pray to Hashem after you finish it's good to start it's good to uh um start learning at least put it in an hour if you can more if you can't a little less but the point is you put in a decent amount of time not five minutes like a lot of people people think that if they study five minutes after they've paid their dues it's not enough so if you can't do it after do it before just do do the prayers of the morning that allows you to study Tor you have to say that that allows us to study Tor there's three different blessings and then obviously all the other and then you can study T before you pray if you can't do it after you pray because sometimes they finish prayer at 9:00 and you have to go to work so if you can't do it study before they pray or go to an early either way start off your day by learning main thing is that you have to learn based on is you must learn the you must learn the every week twice the regular um par and one with commentary so a good way that some people can that some people do it I think almost does it also uh is that they read the uh one Aliyah per day to break it up so you don't spend one day just on the entire you know or two days just on and you don't have any other time for anything else so some people break it up that day where each day they they read one Aliyah you know just like on Shabbat they have seven alot just like on Shabbat there seven alot so each day of the week you start off Sunday you read the section for the first alyah Monday you read the section of the uh but since it's each section is relatively small you might as well if you're if you're breaking it up that way then at least read it with commentary read it but read it with commentary so at least you're getting something done don't read it that that's one second thing is should read a couple of she spent 10 15 minutes reading some so you know what to do the stories and the history and the and the that comes from the is extraordinary but you still need to learn what to do so you need to learn a little bit of just to just to get you by most critical part part of is to learn learn ideally is but if you're just starting out may be a little too much for you so focus on the focus on the basic you could get or uh um you know there's plenty of other books that explain that could teach you depending of your Safari or askanazi um but learn that and then also o pick yourself a book from one of the sages for M there's plenty of books there's from student blazer from there's there's uh plenty plenty of books that you can read in English there not as much as in Hebrew but nonetheless read one M book so you have a breakdown so let's say for example you have an hour you break down the hour with the Kash let's say uh 25 minutes half hour uh you have the 15 minutes and M 15 minutes that's morning at night at the very least it should be just as much as the morning if not more it should be at least one hour if not more if you could do more do more that's if you're already at the level of doing two hours a day now if you're M brand brand like I was several years ago if you told me two hours studying every day I would tell you okay I'm going to try something else so uh it's too much for me to hour I said commit how much time can you commit I said 15 minutes 15 minutes I can that's all I have 15 minutes okay 15 minutes 15 minutes is you try to watch a sh Clips something strong uh you know maybe uh five minutes 10 minutes and then try to take read for 5 10 minutes doesn't matter don't worry about the quantity worry about the time and worry about making sure that it's every day in the beginning when you're brand brand new don't worry about how much you're studying don't worry about Sal and you know being do and M don't worry about just get to a point where you're studying every day it's like eating you have to eat every day now you're getting yourself when you're doing a diet though you're doing a diet you have a cup you have to do a diet in your life and uh you want to do a diet now diet requires some adjustment requires adjustment you know no one you know we're not horses or cows we're not used to eating lettuce all day so if somebody tells you you have to start eating this green stuff all day you have to get a you know you have to adjust you have to adjust you have toj one way some people adjust by hiding the chocolate somewhere else some people adjust by uh you know figure out when they going to eat this when they're going to eat that so they could survive the day point is you have to adjust the main thing is when you first started doing Chua uh first started doing Chua is that you adjust yourself to learn every day that's the most important part how much you learn what you learn all of that stuff is not as critical as you learning every day with the exception of the fact that whatever you're learning you must like it meaning if let's say for example you're watching One Rabbi you can't stand them stop watching immediately do not watching me where doesn't matter if it's me or if it's somebody else don't learn anything you don't like and the reason why is because in the beginning it's very hard it's very hard to get adjusted so might as well eliminate all of the hurdles that you already you know don't put a hurdle in front of yourself and force yourself to like it if let's say in the beginning you start learning it's very boring to you stop learning Al stop learning Al go pick up a book that you do like read read something else you have to like it you can't learn in the beginning if you you don't like it and the reason why is because first you have to get to a point of getting it into your system do it for two weeks two months three months eventually you're going to want to do more than 15 minutes once you're at a point where you want to do more than 15 minutes then you're going to create more room for yourself to study other things you're going to start liking some things that you didn't like in the past you know and and so on and so forth so as far as the program it really all depends on where you're at where your level is brand new like I just said level like I just said beyond that come to me and I'll tell you depends again depends on the student yeah so listening to CDs absolutely it's 100% studying sometimes the CDs in the uh in the sh online and attending shim is better than learning from a book sometimes it's better for some people and the reason why is because some people are more visual they're more visual than they are receptive based on their on the books and some sometimes also if it's a high level sh the high level sh is going to teach you a lot more than you can learn on your own in the book which is the reason why it's a very big mistake for people to not go to as a matter of fact it doesn't matter what level you're at even if you're a huge every single person must attend a at least once or twice a week at least once or twice a week and one of the uh one one of the proofs that I have is look at ra rad yeah didn't stop giving every single day but his students weren't only ignorant people many of his students were giant now you're say oh yeah who's not going to go to what do you think he was teaching the uh the secrets of sh if you actually listen to some of his it's very basic stuff it's not like all of them are so complicated that only the Giants of the world could understand them so why go learn why why is he still giving a and why coming if he's giving a only to people that are ignorant then it's understandable that it's it doesn't can't be a high level but if it's normal standard level meaning for the average Joe to understand or the to understand then why is attending if he why is he attending why because has a different uh aspect of it that you're not going to have in a book the sh has the personification of the itself the of the rabbi itself that you can feed off of that's the fire that's going to keep you in the book if you're into it if you're really into a book you could skip sleep for a few days if you're really into a book you get skip sleep you don't have to sleep it's if a book is really good and you're really into it you don't have to sleep maybe not a few days at least a day you could Skip and just read the whole book but not every book is like that and now you you're not always excited about every single book especially since the doesn't want you to study at all forget about a good book so which means that sometimes you're not going to be into it sometimes you're going to be bored sometimes if anything you're gonna it's going to discourage you to such a point where you want to stop everything I remember when I first started studying I not only wanted to quit studying I wanted to quit everything I want to quit everything it was so difficult for me in the beginning because I was used to being very smart in the secular world I was the smart guy I was the guy that was doing this and this and this and this and all of a sudden I have this book it's in front of me I'm reading for six hours six hours I'm reading one Duff one page one page I'm One D six hours six six and a half hours I finish after six and a half hours and I still have no idea what happened I mean I have the IQ like the best of them and knowledge and this and I read a lot of books in my life and I went to top schools and this whatever you want I had nine different licenses in the investment industry each one of them was a minimum the smallest test was 100 questions the smallest one smallest test was 100 questions smallest one it's not a problem of brain power but now you're coming to this and you realize you have no idea what's going on six hours you have no idea what's going on I want to quit I want to do nothing I I I was begging my Rabbi tell me give me something else it's tough you have to go through it you have to go through it so what do we do we did a balance little little this little you know some other books and so on and so forth and eventually you fall in love with it but the point is is that sometimes you're not going to be interested in the book so what keeps you in what keeps you in is the the is going to put fire in you uh because what the if it's a high level is going to take a little section from a little section from the m a little section from m a little section from a little section from it's going to give you all of those things in five minutes in five hours or whatever whatever however long the shoe is now most people think oh if you study to for three hours you're going be able to give sh for three hours that could not be further from the truth I told you guys this I think a month ago two months ago in a sometimes I think about it myself and I say wait we just gave a shi for three hours now if I go over I don't usually watch my own sh but you know I sometimes my wife is watching in the background I just over here some of the topics that I covered and I said oh yeah I remember I studied this six months ago oh I studied this three months ago oh I studied this three years ago I studied this but each one of these things you study was an hour two hours three hours four hours meaning I'm thinking to myself like for this three hour sh just three hour she two hour she I have to study six months had to study six months for this three hour sh so it's not that you just go to and uh somebody just reading out loud to you if somebody's reading out loud to you then you could do it at home by yourself but if someone is giving you different things it's a different story so point is with is supposed to give you that extra fire and a lot of people that do chuv unfortunately um I don't know they uh they do cha with part of themselves and not part of the other part they do CH with let's say for example with they start keeping Shabbat they start keeping they start keeping kosher but at some point or another they don't want to listen to anyone else they feel like they want to be the rabbi and they want to learn everything else on their own and that's when they sto coming to the and that's where some of the biggest disasters in all of Jewish history have happened every single big disaster in all of Jewish history happened as a result of such an event where somebody left their Rabbi didn't want to listen to that Rabbi regardless of who it was you can go back as far as asav who didn't want to listen to his father you want to go to kak who decide he wants to be the rabbi his Rabbi who's his Rabbi m m was everybody's Rabbi he said no no no we come from the same family we grew up together I want to be the rabbi look I have money I have 250 other rabbis I gave him a little money on it's no big deal but I gave I they they say I'm a good Rabbi he was himself he wasn't like a he wasn't ignorant I want to be the rabbi why should be a rabbi I want to be a rabbi and as we all know the ground swallowed him why he overstepped his boundary JC Penney also wanted to didn't want to listen to his Rabbi every major disaster always happened that way always so I see it a lot unfortunately I see a lot of guys doing doing chuva where and I hear the stories I see the stories myself and they advance and they abandon the uh the hand that feeds them which is a very big mistake so the is much more important than any book that you're going to read because the book you're going to finish it at some point you're going to finish the book at some point but the rabbi is not supposed to be finished so that's where the sh comes in that's why it's not only considered a uh learning but it's also considered a um the ashfa the stuff that's needed necessary for your foundation to build a good solid foundation next there is an exception K so there's a lot of people who cause a lot of problem the nation of Israel because they walked away from their RAB okay what are some of the exceptions meaning when CER for someone to walk away from a rabbi that he started out so there's a couple of things so one is if the rabbi is ail if the rabbi is a heretic then you have to walk away from them it's not it's not that you should you have to so for example there's one Rabbi that uh one student that uh sent me a message uh I a day or two ago and uh told me that their Rabbi is telling the Kil that he heard he heard from one of the big rabbis in the world that uh people in America are allowed to drive on Shabbat as long as they're driving for the sake of bringing people food as if these people can't get food anywhere else or they can't eat reg you know cold food apparently and they can't eat the food before somehow I don't know we live in a desert apparently or a third world country or he's coming to beet so in essence I you know so she asked me is this such a leniency is there such a thing I said this Rabbi I already know the story this is not the first time I'm hearing this so it's not even a matter of I've already verified it before I've encountered it before long story short this Rabbi is 100% a it's not you should walk away from such a rabbi is you're obligated to walk away from a rabbi like this because such a person you're not even allowed to be within six feet of him you're not even allow to stand six feet next to him why he's considered a mean he's considered that mean he considered the same thing as a missionary he's not even considered like a Jew he's considered 100% a missionary so that's obviously one thing that's not a rabbi but they called a rabbi there's another guy that calls himself a rabbi told people that they should uh enjoy exmas because of the colors and this that's that's not a that's a that's so those are unfortunately there's many of them many of them there's another guy I saw yesterday let me send me some info this guy says that um we should celebrate we should celebrate that there is a permission for uh men to be men with men and women to be with all these garbage that's in the world today a rabbi the same way you should celebrate it he did a on the microphone he did a I'm that serious he did a he did a this is that they permitted the law I'm not joking I'm not I'm not exaggerating I I I I wish I was exaggerating he did a on microphone said he gave a whole 5 minute so people like this unfortunately there's many of them so I'm not mentioning it there's three people in the world okay stay away from them no I'm mentioning it because there's a lot of them there's a lot of dogs in the streets a lot of do not just the one that's cute out there quiet listening to there a lot of them there's a lot of them in the world they look like rabis sometimes they have a beard they have a hat everything so that's have to stay away from people like this if a rabbi tells you anything that's against the Torah you have to verify why why is he telling you you have to verify so we we talked about this already last week you have to double check what he's telling you versus what the Torah says if he's telling you things that are against the tah on a regular basis you have to run away that's one two second thing is if the uh learning that you're getting from the rabbi is no longer stimulating to you it's not helping you if the rabbi is for example only focusing on a I don't know let's say he's focusing only on uh he wants to teach alot every day and you want to learn more than Al then you go to a rabbi that teaches more than doesn't necessarily mean that you abandoned the first Rabbi it just means that you're going to learn several things from several rabbis you want to learn you learn from another Rabbi so page 33 says who is your rabbi who's your Rabbi so um says it's the one that taught you meaning or meaning the one that taught you is your Rabbi that's the highest level of Tor that's the one not the one that taught you or the one that taught you m not that one the one that taught you the highest level of T the stuff that requires the highest level of thinking that's your RAB that's what's opinion is says no no no it's the one that taught you the most of your knowledge most of your knowledge that you have 100% knowledge of course you're not going to get for the most part you're not going to get over a long period of time you're not going to get a 100% of your knowledge from one guy you're gonna watch him you're gonna watch from this guy you're gonna learn from this guy sh you're gonna learn from that you your to is going to be spread among let's say two three four five rabbis over your lifetime so says no no it's whoever you learn the most so if let's say for example you have 100% worth of knowledge one Rabbi was your foundation the guy let's say helped you do cha the guy you go to sh this you learn 40% from him and the other 60% is split over six other rabbis so the one you learn from 40% that's your R the other 60 also good but the one you learned 40% that's your love but then RI gives a huge says anyone that you learned to from anything any two things you learn from him at what's the here what that's it anyone that teaches you two things that said he's your Rabbi you're going to call everybody Rabbi now say that's exactly the point all three of them are right all three of them are right says you obviously have to have a rabbi teach you have have you just you gonna just learn your whole life some people go to they learn 20 years okay it's great but it's not going to teach you how to keep Shabbat it's wonderful but it's not going to get you to have schom it's great the sages say the stories of the sages is like it's like what happens in sh it's amazing you learn a lot of things from but still you need to know the basics of how to survive life every day so of course you have to learn on the other hand of course logically you can to have multiple rabbis in your life like what said you have multiple rabbis one you're going to learn a lot from and the others you're going to split it among what's the r says R says that in order to be a rabbi according to hem all you have to do is teach in order for you to call somebody else a rabbi all you have to do is learn doesn't matter doesn't matter if he's a rabbi in Israel he's a rabbi in America he's a rabbi in Kuwait he's a rabbi in here he's a rabbi in if he teaches and his if he's teaching stuff that's in the T not just stuff that he's making up out of his head in a Target store if he's M teaching Tor he's a rabbi that's that's what it is so you have that the is that there's three parts of the same is next you guys are hugging all the questions any anybody else have any questions go go no say repeat that again 4es that's chapter six of a we're going to get to it in about two months okay so okay well I can tell you a few of them that already get you scared there's 48 things that you need to do in order to earn what does it mean to earn I already for the T this I did a for anything uh so what does it mean no I don't want you to guys think I drinking not making a blessing um what does it mean earn Torah earn tah means you become now a lot of people today say they love God if you actually ask most people as a matter of fact let's do who loves God raise your hand whoever hates God don't raise your hand no if you love God raise your hand you love God love God love love so far even the sleeping one raised the hand somehow everybody love gu right okay okay so r r [Music] in it's over here ra one of the biggest RAB rambam is the greatest so rambam he tells us actually a little bit he tells us about a little bit about loving God okay so what does it mean to love God most people you guys all think you love God right so rambam tells us what's loving God what's loving God we get there so in chapter 10 chapter 10 of it says following ah okay so this starts really in the beginning first so a person should not say I will fulfill the of the T and occupy myself in its wisdom in order to receive all the blessings which are in the Torah meaning a person shouldn't study T and fulfill the MIT in the T because they're going to get benefit from it so already he's telling us this is a definition meaning that if you're doing what you're doing for you're doing mitv you keep Shabbat you keep kosher you learn T if you're doing it to get a reward already you don't love God why because love unfortunately in this generation we've completely destroyed the word we've completely changed the meaning people think that love means you have to give stuff you have to you know I love her because I tell I love you okay so if you are mute does it mean you don't love her anymore oh I love her because I buy her stuff so if you were broke does that mean you don't love her anymore oh I I I love her because I get flowers so if all the flowers in the world die does that mean there's no more love people think that love has anything to do with material the fact is that love has nothing to do with material love means simply put you are doing something purely because it makes the other person happy even if it doesn't make you happy your own personal desire likes dislikes wants whatever are completely removed are completely irrelevant you're doing something purely for the other person's happiness that's love you are happy not because you did something you're happy because they're happy you see them smile you smile you didn't buy her the car because you wanted to uh you know you want to show her that you could afford a car you bought the car because you know that the car will make her happy it's two different things it's two different things unfortunately most people have materialized love to such an extent that it just became you know most relationship become so materialistic you're not really sure if it's really an appropriate marriage at all so first and foremost the rambam says is that you have to separate yourself because if you're doing things because you want reward that means you're actually could potentially be falling into a situation where you're serving yourself you're only doing what Hashem wants why because you want to give you stuff I'm Gonna Keep Shabbat so he gives me more money I'm Gonna Keep so he uh gives me this he gives me that you're only doing it because of reward which really is self-interest that's not love now let's not lose our hope yet it says one who serves God out of love occupies himself in Torah and MIT and walks in the path of wisdom for no for no ulterior motive meaning you have it doesn't really make a difference whether you understand the mitvah don't understand mitvah whether hem wants you it doesn't make it nothing matters you say Hashem wants it it makes Hashem happy somehow whatever happy Means to him I'm doing it somebody asks you are you going to give a you going to do something well what does hasm want if Hashem wants it I'm doing it if hasm doesn't want I'm not doing it yeah but it's good for you there's no nothing good for me there's no good for me there's no good for me it's what's good what's good in the eyes of Hashem that's love now this is the part that will destroy if you still think you love hem now here he's telling he's telling us that a person has to occupy himself with all day meaning you have to be a you have to know a lot of T you can't just like a uh say I love hem and know nothing about him so here it talks about how the serving of hem out of love is really for the high level it's not for the average Joe says anyone that occupy anyone who occupies himself with to in order to receive a reward or in order to protect himself from punishment is considered as one who is not occupied for the sake of God meaning he's not serving God out of out of love he's serving him out of nonetheless our sages said a person should always occupy himself with Torah even if it's not out of love even if you're not doing it for love you should still do it why here the rambam in this five rambam destroys all of these Care Bear rabbis that I keep telling you guys about of how they try to teach T they say no you have to love AEM Stop scaring people it's not good to scare people it's not good to teach about here ramb actually gives outright instructions of how to do kiru he tells you here if one teaches children women and most of the Common People meaning all of us one should teach them to serve out of fear he didn't say love he said fear why in order for them and also fear and also for them to receive a reward meaning the opposite of what we just read up to now teach them to serve AEM because they're scared and because they're going to get a prize for doing it why we just said it it's not good because as their knowledge grows and their wisdom increases the secret will be revealed to them slowly bit by bit and they should become accustomed to this concept gradually until they finally grasp it and know it and begin to serve hem out of love why because it's impossible to love God and material at the same time meaning as long as you love anything else material you like money there's no way you're ever going to get the loving God you love women there's no way you're ever going to get to loving God why there's no room when you love hem love hem like the sages Define it you're so consumed with it there's no room for anything else so For Better or For Worse the reality is is that for most of us the r himself says for most of us it's not possible to get there as a matter of fact he even said say that the also confirms it that even great great rabbis didn't reach the level ofm of loving hem so all of these people keep saying no serve AEM out of love serve AEM out of love the ramb the r say it's not possible for most people you have to do it out of fear you have to do it out of getting a reward one day but that also means that the material the materialism that we have is destroying our connection with hasem doesn't necessarily mean that you have to be a homeless person in the middle of the street uh you know begging for change that's not what the r is saying he says it in a different that it's it's not allowed to live like that you have to do your your best to to survive but the same token is that the connection to material that dependence on material and how much you love material that separates you from Hashem so now as far as getting to a point of being a you have to make certain sacrifices to get the reward for those sacrifices is that you could eventually get to loving AEM that's the biggest reward aside from some of the sacrifices are to relieve yourself from Material what is that material disconnect from money obviously doesn't necessarily mean you have to be broke but work becomes secondary to your learning Torah even if you're making a million dollars a day that million dollars a day is is making money whatever it's doing but it's only secondary after you're learning to comes so if there's ever a situation where it's either I make a million dollars today or I'm going to learn my two hours the two hours comes first that's one two it's less intimacy it's not possible for you to have the strength that you you need every day to learn a lot of to to in order when you're going to be intimate with your wife every single day third thing is is that you have to eat less eat less fourth sleep less a lot of people say yeah I want to finish the shot okay so you going have to sleep less no no I want to finish the sh and sleep it's not possible it's not possible that's why there's a lot of people that go to eat col go to already already inos for 15 20 years never finish why sleep too much it's not necessarily a bad thing it's just that you're not going to be a you can learn to you can be a nice person you could be know something things you're not going to be a complete ignorant or anything you're just not going to be a why that's considered a k it's considered a crown to be you have to make major major sacrifices so there's 48 total I just gave you a handful of them point being is that number one we have to understand what it means to love AEM because that's the goal that's what we're trying to get to so once we've actually have the real definition of what loving a is then we have to ask ourselves do we want it because that's what the requirements are to get there good question next we have to like Shabbat is all the blessings okay it's that how you'll be rich in your lifetime can so what does it say all that if it's not the point for doing it you just say any word all just say theah again depends depends on what you're do why you're doing what you're doing it all depends on why you're doing what you're doing so um as far as the uh if you're doing it if you're doing all of your mitv for the sake of serving hem then the reward is irrelevant the reward is irrelevant as a matter of fact this is the mishna that I actually have open here it says it the an we learned this already a year ago anonos the leader of says don't be servants who serve the master meaning don't serve AEM for the sake of receiving a reward but rather you should serve uh the master not for the sake of receiving a token and nevertheless the fear of Heaven should be upon you so first and foremost if you want to reach the highest level you want to beik you want to be you want to beu your own version of it so now you have to do whatever you're doing purely for the sake of hem has nothing to do of whether there's a g to keep Shabbat scho to do this none of that stuff matters to you anymore that's why you see a lot of the the big they tell other people about certain but they themselves that they don't do it for that the babali didn't do what he did for the purpose of the you know they don't do it for you know uh none of the sages did what they did for the sake of being rich materially because if someone is worried about being rich materially they're not going to be a sadik I'll give you a story the uh former or head Rabbi of uh Israel um one time he came to visit America and um went K said uh give a few shim and so on and so forth and then this KLA had a uh very rich guy in it a billionaire and uh they said you know even though this guy doesn't necessarily have the greatest mid in the world but it's customary that anyone that comes to visit usually goes to his house so please can you go to his house Shabbat sure no problem so he went to the guy's house and uh he sits down and you know then the guy ask the balab asks for Qui and he talks to the Rabbi says listen you see all this house Castle this that house was you know huge house imagine a Billionaire's house he says all of it is worthless why my son is about to marry a non-jew and there's nothing I can do about it I tried talking to him I tried having the rabbis talk to him I tried having this I tried having that everything I tried nothing works he's upstairs he won't listen to me he won't talk to me nothing I can't do anything about it they're supposed to get married next month there's nothing I can do everything I have it's worthless I don't know what you can do but I can tell you one thing I know you have sh you have this you have that if you can go and convince my son to break up the relationship with his girlfriend I give you a check for $20 million says if you can go upstairs and convince my son to break up the relationship with his girlfriend not Jewish girlfriend I give you a check for $20 million $20 million cash us Rob says where is he say he's upstairs okay he goes upstairs little while passes less than an hour maybe 40 minutes pass they both come downstairs the kid's crying hysterical he tells ABA I just broke up with her I just broke up with her wedding's off everything is canceled I'm sorry everyone's amazed I mean people are witnessing this it's not just two people a lot of people witnessing this no one knows what just happened all they know is the Rob went up to to to one of the 30 rooms that's upstairs probably took 20 minutes just to get to the room it comes down the kids's crying this one everyone's crying everything is good everyone's together so now after everything comes down he the B writes the check on the spot $20 million and he gives it to the's gab guy that's a helping his helper they say sh and they leave on the way out right before as they get to the car the the rabbi's uh helper says I'm so excited this is so amazing you know how much we can do we can do as well what do you mean what are you so excited about what what do you mean we can do what we can do go nor we can do for the we can build with the extension you've always wanted for 20 years go what are you talking about $20 million go where'd you get that where'd you get that go goes give me to me why give it to me takes the $20 million the ra goes back inside the house goes back inside the house hello oh yeah everything okay he goes hey this is yours goes what do you mean this is yours he gives it to him in his hand gives him $20 million on his hand back goes but why said that whatever you didn't you know but but but why why not why the other rabbis take money what's the big deal I'm sure you have yes to build I'm sure you have things to do what's the problem taking money I'm not I have plenty I didn't do it for money said it's okay to take money goes no I didn't do it for money if I did it for money your son wouldn't have come down I wouldn't have the to affect your son to come down and leave the in two seconds you understand so materialism distances us from hasem this doesn't necessarily mean that it's bad if we use it the right way at the same token a person needs to understand where they stand where they are right now where they need to be so the question Still Remains what's holding us back what's holding us back from getting to our full potential each one of us has something that's stopping us some people they just don't know what to study some people they were stealed the wrong way some people have in marriage issu some people have whatever learning issue some people have money issue some people have whatever issue everyone has an issue what's the next issue yes a lot of people when they become religious they lose everything lose money they lose everything and a lot of people stand aside and they see this happen What would why would that want to very good question so first off as far as the uh the basic answer of why do people lose money and material uh one stay du cha is that uh in the end of um tells us that he pays the righteous for thousand of generations but the wicked he pays them cash to their face meaning that if you see someone that's uh violate Shabbat on a regular basis and you see them having all the plent plenty of material that's actually not a very good sign that means that hem is given them their reward for whatever few mitv they did in this life now on the other hand if someone is doing Mitzvah doing good thing says he's going to pay him for a, thousands of generation doesn't that say he's going to pay them right now so what does this mean to us what this means that sometimes before a person gets to a point of doing chuva he was on that bad list on that bad list that Hashem says he's my hater he's my enemy so I have to pay him cash to his face I have to give him reward now I have to give a million dollars now $10 million now $30 million now I have to give a bunch of money now a bunch of material now now if that person wakes up somebody slaps him in the face and he wakes up he says I woke up I know what the purpose of life is and it's not the $30 million that I have purpose of life is to learn T do fulfill the will of hem to live eternally eternally instead of for just 780 years and so on and so forth he starts doing chuat so now hasm say okay I started paying you already I have to take it back because now you're going to live eternally you're going to live eternally so I have to pay you back I have to take it back so that's one of the reasons why hasm takes it back is because now that a person got on the right track he put himself in a good position eternally on the other hand if he continued uh if he Contin doing bad things he he wouldn't be in a good situation now the uh there's a mishna there's a mishna that uh Rish shimai talks about different things that we have that can become t or not so for example if a piece of wood cannot become T cannot become impure cannot become impure but if there's a hole in it that makes it Hollow it can become impure and he talks about different things that could become impure and they ask him why why can these specific things become impure because because these are the weapons of of the criminals the one that has the uh the uh the pole that has a hole in it the criminal uses it to make it lopsided for weighing things so he makes it seem like he has more than what he does or if it's a scale he puts there extra weight on one side of the other side and certain things that these are the tools of the criminals and he says in the end of the Mish he says meaning woe to us if I teach it woe to us if I don't teach it meaning they say to him why are you teaching this is the criminals are going to read this mishna they're going to know how to be criminals then the criminals are going to read this mishna they're going to learn all these different tools you're telling them how to make a fake scale you're telling them how to make a hide diamonds in a hat you're telling them how to do all these different things so he says W to us if we teach it w to us if we don't teach W to us if we teach it and the criminals read it and they learn how to be better criminals what to us if they don't teach it that the criminals know these things but they think we don't know it and the Torah gets embarrassed because of it it's better that they know how to become better criminals then they look at the Torah unfavorably because what they do is none of our business anyway we don't care what they do and he uses a verse in the Torah so in essence all of those people that look at a religious guy that did CH and he started losing his money and they say oh look he did CH he did Chua he lost all of his money kazal says we don't care what they think why because in reality they really know inside they know it's not true they know he didn't lose all of his money because he did Chua one thing has nothing to do with the other it doesn't even make logical sense anyway but it's an excuse for them why it's an excuse for them to to justify their own sins they were just looking for one they were looking for an excuse before he did chuva their excuse was they didn't know after he did chuva they EXC oh now I know but look what happens might as well not do chuva really it's just an excuse to justify their life we don't care what they say we don't care what they do so the key is is to understand that whatever we're experiencing right now is not permanent that's how you can survive the battle all battles in life the most difficult aspect of them is the mental battle and the reason why is because is working really really hard to convince us that whatever we're experiencing right now is permanent so if we're happy if we made a lot of money every guy that makes a lot of money think is going to be rich forever I can tell you from personal experience when I had a ton of money in 2006 M hour before my surgery an hour before my surgery I was convinced I was a couple of uh years away from already threatening Bill Gates I was convinced I was going to be the richest this that I was convinced why I made so much money already by the time I was 26 I have a business that's worth 40 $50 million like I'm making money just for walking in everything is great what could possibly go wrong I'm 26 what what goes wrong in a 26 year old body what could possibly wrong an hour later something changed that's perform hour or later something changed so now so I thought it was permanent hasem says it's not on the other hand when I was going through a nightmare of health issues uh every single day was my own version of G that was personalized to me and I was very very hopeless wanted to leave this world in a speed train and uh didn't want to wasit for hm to decide I wanted to decide for myself why I was convinced it's permanent I was convinced the pain is never going to go away I was convinced that the emotional pain the mental pain every pain is never going to go away why because the same yet that made me think that I was always going to be successful healthy and everything great is the same yet that was working when I was down the beauty of tah is the toah gives you a reality check it makes you realize that everything is temporary everything is temporary so once you know that everything is temporary you realize that the only battle you have to deal with is today yesterday is irrelevant you can't do anything about it other than chuba fix Yesterday by doing chat meaning what's Chua you can't take away the Shabbat from 20 years ago no matter how much you try you violate Shabbat 20 years ago you can't fix it even the Shabbat last Shabbat you uh turn on the hot water and you shut it off not allowed toab you can't fix it you already turned it off well you turn it back on it's another Shabbat you can't undo it what's how do you undo it what do you do you have to do Chua one way is to learn how to not to violate it number two is to learn your so you're scared to violate it and you think twice before you do certain things and number three is try to convince somebody else not to violate it so cha is the only thing you can do about your past the future is none of your business the future is none of your business future is in hashem's hands how do you know you're going to live to see the future everyone's convinced they're going to lift till 120 but the reality of it is that maybe we have a week maybe we have a month maybe we have 20 years maybe we don't know so to plan our retirement plan in 20 30 years is already like being like mini profits when we're not so the most important thing is to worry about today what can I do today to be the best version of me today of course there's a certain level of planning you need to do you can't necessarily eat all of the food that you have in the fridge today and hope that has miraculous fills it up for you by tomorrow you have to be smart but you get what I mean main thing is to worry about today because once you worry about today and all your MIT of today all your obligations of today that gets you out of the depression Zone that gets you out of the stress Zone that gets you out of all of those mindsets that keep you pretty much to a point where you're a dear in headlights when when you're too focused on the past you get so down that you don't want to move forward when you're too focused on the future you get so stressed out that you can't move forward which is exactly what the wants you to do he wants you to stay exactly where you're at he wants you to get to the point just sit there do nothing all day so important part is to worry about now what can I do now can I learn something now can I do mitvah now can I work what can I do now how can I be my own best version of me now tomorrow whatever happens tomorrow worry about it tomorrow so that's a little bit a uh of advice to survive the day-to-day battle because the day-to-day battle sometimes takes they're highs and lows sometimes you're coasting you know there's a period of let's say a week or a month or two months or three months where you have like a regiment of how things are just working to plan but then all of a sudden it's like a shock you get smacked in the face and all of a sudden you feel like you just start all over you know like you just built a whole sand castle and the wave came and ruined everything that's sometimes sometimes it happens so that mentality where it's like okay you know what okay it's ruined I I can't fix it it's ruined what can I do now can I put a brick can I start all over do I want to maybe I want to do something different start now what happened happened already you lost money you lost money you you were sick yesterday you were sick yesterday or whatever it is it happened can't fix it what you can do is now worry about now that's going to help you survive the day-to-day battle that's the that's the biggest thing that I think holds people back for moving forward both in cha in business in marriage in child in everything and everything in life it's too much focus on things you have no control over and for the most part is none of your business what Hashem decides to give you in the future is none of your business none of your business it's his business he decides it so you planning on oh listen we're going to buy we're going to pay mortgage and we're going to pay an extra $300 a month to the mortgage to make sure that we own this house in 15 years instead of 30 years and then we're going to retire and get a second house and we're going to have a car and a third house and this house all this planning is M waste of time why hasem can decide to change all of it in two seconds all of it can change in two seconds so most important part is worry about today worry about today what can you do today about all these people investing in Ira they're thinking about when they 60 is that good listen it's a I talked about it with my wife the other day I don't think it's relevant to most people um simply because most people are not going to connect to it but from some of the things that I've learned I mean I've heard a lot of stories learn from kazal and so on this is almost as far from us as what I was talking about love hem is and I kind of said it already the more materialistic you are the further you are from Hashem now the one of the worst things that can happen to a person is for them to be rich now I know this just threw everyone's head upside down uh myself included when I first heard it and the reason why is because to be rich rich is a much more difficult test than to be poor there's very few righteous rich people very few of them in comparison to poor people most of the you know most of the biggest tedim in the in the world are usually poor and the reason why is because to be rich to have money is a very very big responsibility aside from the fact that you have to overcome the over you know overwhelming amount of test every day of being rich when you're rich you have a lot more possibilities to sin you have a lot more opportunities to sin when you're rich I mean you just look at what's happening in Hollywood right now all of these people are not poor they all had the power because they were Rich they all had the power because they had a ton of money so to have that many tests that you have to encounter on a day-to-day basis it's not unless you're mamash a really serious sadik most likely you're going to fail most likely going to fail one of these tests whether it's the intimacy issues or this or that whatever there's a million and a half tests that you can fail as a result of having so many tests so that's one the second thing is is that the responsibility of a rich person is much bigger than they think meaning that if you're a rich person and there's somebody within your circle within your circle of influence someone that's within your reach that is struggling the onus is on you meaning the responsibility of that person suffering is on you when you get up to Sham they're going to punish you because you didn't give him meaning that if you have a lot of money you have to you have a second job aside from managing your businesses that are making the money and your family that's eating the money and so on and so forth you actually have to go out there and search who needs the money Hashem didn't give you the hundred million or the million dollars or even the 100,000 just so you have 100,000 you have to actually do something connected to Hashem as a result of that money if that money is purely for the sake of of you just making money and you have more money and more houses and more cars and more this and more that and more everything else then you're putting yourself in a situation where you're you're not fulfilling your obligation so one of the stories in the Tor and is about a person that was very righteous to such an extent that Hashem made him one of three people that he stopped to son for his name Wason Ben there was three people that were financing all of and uh one of them was one Dayan sees a woman a young woman looking through the feces the waist of the donkeys the Arabs donkeys and he said to her who are you what are you doing she goes I'm looking for some I'm looking for some wheat grains that even the donkeys didn't digest so we could eat it sometimes it's so hard that even the donkey can't digest it so I'm looking for this so I can we can eat some from some food goes whose daughter are you I'm the daughter ofon benon how could it be your father is richest man of the land he goes not anymore he goes how could it be he goes he didn't give enough he didn't give enough he goes what do you mean he gave money to everyone said he didn't give enough he didn't give enough he gave a lot he financed all of am for three years still in his level it wasn't enough so the responsibility of having money is very very big and there's very very few that actually can do it so even if they're not punished in this world it's a very serious conviction to go up to Sham with next question says what would you say is the most important thing to start with uh spir spirituality and connection to hasem or how long your skirt is and other okay so as far as how long your skirt is it's not a RAB modesty is an that's from the that's from uh the Torah itself we learn it from many places from the Torah uh for example if you look at or or or every time that hasem describes them he doesn't describe s menu as a uh the Great greatest Prophet that's even better than AB what does he describe her as someone that's modest even though she was beautiful she was modest same thing witha same thing with Le same with all of them every single woman mentioned in the Tora is constantly mentioned her level of modesty even though some of them were very smart even though some of them were brilliant and even better than the men none of them is highlighted by AEM as a result of their intellect or their beauty or anything else main thing that's highlighted is their modesty second thing is page two right in the beginning of the it says that a um a man gets a z a man gets a z based on his Mas based on his deeds if he's a sadik he gets a modest woman if he's a rash he gets immodest woman so the sages ask wait a minute shouldn't sadik get a sadik a righteous get a righteous and a r Wicked get a wicked why does it say why does the gamar says a righteous gets a modest and a wicked gets immodest where's one thing have to do with the other so Rashi explains in his he says if she's modest if he's mod if he's righteous he'll get a modest woman why because if she's modest she's most likely righteous but if he's wicked he's going to get someone that's immodest why immodest because if she's immodest it's impossible for her to be righteous meaning there's no such thing in the history of mankind as an immodest woman that's righteous at the same time why it's against nature it's against the nature of hem so this goes back to the definition of what does it mean to love AEM now if someone says I love my husband you have to prove it how do you prove it if you tell them well if I cook for him every day that means you love him what if you work and you can't cook for him that means you don't love him anymore I gave him kids I know plenty of women that have kids with a guy that they want to kill so just because you had kids with a guy doesn't mean you love him I uh I tell them I love him maybe you're lying maybe you don't really love her maybe it's like this relationship I heard about just the other day Shabbat someone told me yeah there's a problem in marriage between this couple okay tell me about the couple well he's only 35 years older than her he's only only 35 years older than her and her father is younger than him but they're having they're they're having marriage problems I said yes she's like his granddaughter of course they're having marriage problems and thear says he's one of three people hasm hates there certain people that hasem hates it says an old man with a young woman Hashem hates him he thinks it's disgusting so now if people look at the equation here she said says she loves him but it doesn't mean she loves him she loves his money or vice versa so when we say we love hem it obligates us we have to prove it the same way we have to prove we love our spouse we have to prove that we love our creator and that means that we have to do things purely because it makes them happy purely because they want us to do it not because we want to do it not because we like to do it but purely because they they it's good they feel they need it so with he doesn't need anything from us but for us to go against him and against his laws at the same time when we're saying that we love him it's not possible so in thear and it talks about how um every time a person keep Shabbat every time he keep Shabbat he's acting as a witness and as a uh as a partner to Hashem and creation because there was no Witnesses back then so every time you keep Shabbat you say hem I believe that you created the world in six days and rested on the seventh meaning that every time somebody violates Shabbat in the eyes of hem it's as if they're going out in the middle of the street say hey hem I don't believe you did it that's what the says I don't believe you did it every time they turn on the car every time they go to the casino every time they do something to violate Shabbat it's as if they're screaming scaming to hem that's that's what the you know draws it as as if they're screaming to hem I don't believe in you so a woman cannot say to hm he hasem I love you I miss you I I adore you and everything else and she's walking around immodest why because that's the rule of hem hasem says that your has to be private now one of the things that most people don't understand is that modesty was not really a problem as big as it is in previous generation it's always been a problem there's always been a problem of modesty but it's only become a serious problem like it is right now in just the last 100 or so years 100 150 years there's always been modesty issues obviously it's in the Tora so that therefore there's there's issues but as far as the level of problems like we have right now that's something that's uh completely and a reason why is because up to about 100 150 years ago both the Jews and the non-jews wore similar clothes in a sense where all of the women would wear very big clothes so you wouldn't really see the figure of the woman both Jews and non-jews covered their hair so if you look at pictures of a hundred years ago you see that even when they went to the beach you see them being more modest than any raban in the world and I'm not even talking about Jews I'm talking about non-jews if you look at all of the women from the cotel you take I have pictures of my phone I'll show you after the Sho women from the cotel from the early 1900 not even 100 years ago 90 years ago 80 years ago you see each one of them looks like I mean it's m like a different world you feel like it's 2,000 years ago it's n it's much it's our grandparents age you see each one of them wearing clothes you can't tell what the figure is you can't tell if she's pretty not pretty you can't tell anything why because what they're doing is they're keeping their beauty private for their husband now if you have something precious if something precious and you're a smart person you're not going to go on and show it to everybody hey guys look look what I have look what I have why somebody May steal it from you if you have a million dollar Diamond you have aund million doll Diamond you're not going to throw up in the air and and show hey guys look I have aund million dollar Diamond hey look I have a Picasso I'm throwing out in the everything's in there what are you going to do you going to put in the safe why because it's precious but this is precious material this is a diamond that's came from the ground this is a painting that somebody drew even more so a even more so someone that's considered a daughter of so any man that has a little bit of in his in his in his head should try to do everything he possibly can to convince his wife and support his wife to be as modest as could possibly be why because then he's really truly guaranteeing that she's only his wife and that's why ra Maz which is one of the right now ra maaz says even forget about the IM women that walk around half naked in the streets today he's talking about religious women religious women he says that walk around with wigs and walk around with the way that they walk around they look like they're single women because no guy in the world can tell whether these wigs are real hair or not whether it's her hair or somebody else's hair and ra Maz is quoted saying it says a woman that wears a wig she's not only a husband's wife she's not only a husband's wife why is she not only a husband's wife cuz plenty of men are thinking about her as a result of her going to the supermarket why because they don't know if she's married not married if it's real hair not real hair guys don't do like that they don't do math like that they don't care to them it looks real it's real in their mind it's 100% real they're oh wow Tadashi covering head with a wig they don't even know what a wig is when a guy sees the wig and he sees the he doesn't he can't add the too doesn't make sense to him that's what women fail to understand so the issue of modesty and immodesty is a much bigger deal than most people make and I'll give you a little bit of about it so you don't think I'm making this stuff up because sometimes people blame me for a lot of things I don't do I'm innocent for most of it so most of it not all of it so so it says we brought this track it talks about it uh now as we all know we uh unfortunately lost the bet mikdash but for the most part most of us don't really know the reason part of the reason we lost the bet mikdash was because of immodesty so here the gar talks about some of the verses that Hashem told Isaiah before he destroyed the bet mikdash he warned them about all these immodest women chapter 3 verse 16 Hashem is warning Isaiah and he says the following the daughters of Zion are Hardy what does it mean Hardy what does it what does it mean says the walking with outstretched necks says what does it mean they're walking without stretch necks says they're walking around showing up their figure like with their head straight up okay and with G with with with gazing eyes which means that they fill their eyes with too much makeup looking at young men and they floating as they walk meaning the tall women are walking next to short women to make sure that they look extra pretty they stand out if there's a you know let's say all three women of the same height they could very well in the eyes of a regular guy they all look the same whatever one's blue one's black one's green whatever doesn't make a difference really but if you see this let's say four short women but one TAA one really tall tall girl who's going to stand out to every single guy on planet Earth to the one that's tall says they specifically all the tall ones the modest ones are hanging out with the short ones and their feet and and with their feet they would spew Venom so says what does it mean they would spew Venom what are they snakes says they would walk into the marketplaces of yush and they would specifically get to and look for unmarried Jewish men and cause these and they would put extra perfume we're not talking about putting pil they all cover hair we're not talking about they wear mini skirt they're all covered we're not talking about they wearing uh tank tops so 100% covered what they do they put extra perfume they put extra perfume for the young men to smell them that's it he says in in the eyes of hem this considered like they with a Venom what venom venom of the of the Nash from Venom of the Nash from creation from the that the serpent that made sin why because the guys looked at her in the morning and thought about her at night when they with their wife so now it says okay so what's the punishment what is their punishment what is their punishment because the punishment is still relevant today it says wherever they sprayed the BOS wherever they sprayed their perfume will become a place of Decay meaning wherever they put BOS in whatever they put perfume would become rotten would become instead of a belt instead of wherever if they put extra tight clothes they put a belt on and so on that will turn to completely full of bruises if they put extra you know stuff on their head to make sure that they stand out you know crown this that the other thing he says wherever they had their K will turn into Bol spots instead of Sasha Bell okay then it says says they uh what if they had uh babies you know in their stomach that have aalo they have uh miscarriages will also lead to one of the punishment should also be soures in that area of the body of their private area as a result of uh one of these young men that's not their husband uh deciding that he wants to be the husband even though she doesn't want it rape uh then they getat and then uh become repulsive and it gets worse and worse is my point gets worse and worse wom becomes hairy woman becomes disgusting and so on and so forth you get the point you get the point now women spend an extraordinary amount of money trying to beautify themselves extraordinary amount of money they go to spas and this and that and some women they go through certain parts of their life they have no idea why is my body changing so much why is this why is that a big part of the reason is because hasem doesn't like what's happening with you a woman becomes hairy which is unnatural to her that's the reason a woman becomes has extra source has different things that are happening to their body it's all mentioned in thear it's all mentioned in thear why all these things happening and 99.9% of the reason is immodesty people want to believe it don't believe it it's their problem I don't really care if they believe don't believe I just tell you the news you decide whether you want to pay the bill or not I give you the news so as far as the first question someone worrying about spirituality uh or how long their skirt is the key is to understand is that you cannot connect to hasem spiritually by violating what he says on a regular basis meaning that your spirituality has to be through action your love has to be shown by example by by some you have to do something about it you can't just say I love you and and and go out with a different guy he say honey I love you and by the way my boyfriend's coming to pick me up no you can't do that if have to honey I'm home you understand so the key is to understand is that we have to do things you have to show love by action the next question is do have to be sh one I'm engaged sh uh okay so the uh technically the is is once a man is intimate with a woman in essence there can considered married in essence they're considered married but kazal implement ented a law that you're not allowed to be intimate until you're officially married until there's some type of ceremony uh where you actually go to the B and so on and the reason why is because they didn't want the men to take advantage of the women now in the eyes of hasem a woman is much more precious than a man much more precious her n is extra special extra pure extra high and that's the reason why she's not obligated to learn t as much as a man does because naturally a woman is much higher spiritually than a man but that's assuming that a woman is doing something about connecting to hem and is not uh in the worst places on Earth so because of that special treatment because of that special n that special needs special protection so if she doesn't protect that n and she starts going with different men then we have a problem now on the other hand if she wants to be a kosher woman and she wants to get married and she wants a husband and so on if she's already doing all of that then might as well listen to all of the instructions and the reason why is because it's for our best interest why is it for our best interest is because men don't think like women there's a uh proverb that says stolen water are sweeter so if you had there was actually did a study on this that guys look in the secular study they look at twins identical twins now the guys didn't know that one of the women was married and the other one wasn't this is not a religious study they just wanted to see if if guys could tell the difference now the women looked exactly the same exactly the same no different identical identical and they asked them you know they didn't know one of them was married one was not but over 90% of the guys 90% of the guys thought that the girl that was married was prettier now obviously they look exactly the same why yet wants that one why stolen water or sweeter even though water always stays the same water always stays the same but the wants the one that's forbidden fruit he want the wants to something that's not allowed so a woman that smart that wants a husband to really want her to really want to be with her to stay there should make sure that she's not stolen water should make sure that she keeps all of the beauty and everything for when he's actually fully committed to stick around and the reason why is because the guy can tell you whatever you want he can give you a ring give you money give you a car give you this guys will do anything for that guys unfortunately they're not brilliant so guys were willing to do a lot of stupid things just for the sake of desire for 5 seconds M desire for 5 seconds they won't to do anything for it look at all of these celebrities all of these people that are falling now that are being disgraced in in media what was it for it wasn't for relationships not like they had relationships with women over extended period of time and so on what was it for it was to uh to be excited for 5 seconds for five minutes for two minutes that's it and the reality of it is that every single person regrets it five seconds later you go you get excited about the sin while you're doing the sin sometimes you're already losing it sometimes you already don't care so much about it it's already not as good as you thought it was going to be but you're already in it so you might as well and the second minute after you finish regardless of whether you're religious or not the second you finish you can't wait to get away you can't wait to get away every guy is like that it's it's just part of our nature so when a guy acts like a dog he gets treatment like a dog the girl shouldn't be the victim if she's smart she should know if I'm going to let him do it and treat me like I'm just his current victim why would he marry me why would he marry me and that's the one thing that women just don't understand is that the guys never actually want to marry the stripper the guys never want to marry the model no one wants to marry that person they may want they may want to be intimate with them and have all their crazy desires but no one ever thinks oh yeah it's going to be my wife one day who does everybody want the one that no one ever touched the one that's exclusive the one that's out of touch so why would you be like the one that everyone be like the one that no one ever touched so by not keeping the laws of by keeping only part of the tah by already going through the already you know going through getting married having the and everything else and then violating it right before the itself doesn't make any sense if you really can't hold it if both of your hormones are at unreasonable levels and you just can't hold it just get a it takes minutes go to the rabbi tell him listen get 10 men I'm serious I'm not joking get 10 men let's go so I tell you this when we do conversions we go to the bed if there's for example if there's a couple there's a couple one of them is Jewish one of them is not I tell them that one of the conditions before we even get to the bre before anything one of the conditions day one I tell them day one okay you want me to help you one of you is Jewish one of you is not you want me to help you one of you convert the other one has to do chuva fine no problem you have to learn you have to do this you have to do this you have to do this you have to this fine all is great but you have to know one thing day one I tell them this the same day of conversion the same day the same day you get married meaning there's no waiting I made a mistake one time and wait and waited everything turned out okay because they were both and they both stay separate and so on but as a rule of th we don't wait same day you get married you want to have a party you have a party down the road I don't care about the party same thing you convert why because as soon as you're allowed to be together because it's you did a conversion technically you're allowed to be together there's nothing that's going to stop you right now maybe you're not going to be together because you're afraid hm is going to punish you that who knows what's going to happen so maybe you have a little you're not going to touch fine but once you actually once she's Jewish once he's Jewish you must have a that day why who says you know you're going to hold up that test so that means that you have to you have to actually get married that day and that's the thing that a lot of people it stumps them why because oh I wasn't really ready to get married okay so why are you doing the whole thing for then they starts question one of the couples that I have broke up because of it one of them realized oh I really really wasn't ready to get married oh okay so good that she knew you weren't ready to get married what about cleaning Che clean for to be married sure no they still getting married and uh consummating the marriage of two different things so there's there are several times where um the woman goes if it's a woman she goes to a mikve to for the conversion regardless even if she has a period uh she's allowed to go to mik for conversion because there's no there's no uh issue of Tuma for for non-jews as far as uh as far as period the Tuma issue or the nid sorry the the nid issue is only relevant once a person is Jewish there's no nid for a non-jew now if she has a period right the same day technically that she goes to the mik then the way that the is done is that when the man puts the ring on he doesn't touch her finger just puts literally the ring he's not alled to touch her just to P the ring but the consummating of the marriage has to happen after she becomes pure so they're not allowed to consummate the marriage they're married they have Thea they have this you know the celebration they have the rabbi they have the blessings but the consummating of the mar as far as officially becoming intimate for the first time has to happen once she's pure but still you don't delay you don't delay the K still you still have the that day as a matter of fact in the old days Days of thear or even before that even after that uh they used to actually have the uh whole issue of marriage used to be a set two-step process like what we call engagement now uh there's a was similar but not the same back then there would be two parts to the marriage so point being is that if a couple knows that they are going to be together they want to be together perhaps they've already been together intimately before for them to delay the uh the Thea for because the the party is not set up yet is the biggest mistake they're going to make so if you already know that you can't hold it you know you can't hold it either because you've done it already or you just can't take it or whatever the case may be go to Rabbi s them listen Rabbi let's have a let's have a reala right now just get 10 people 10 kosher people have a small could be at the big doesn't have to be a party do the blessings da and then I don't know a few months later a year later whenever you actually have this big party that you're planning and then delayed for you know down the road is ready you have it again just a fake it's been done before it's done all the time it's a fake you still do the it's just a fake one it's not the real one not the same blessings and so on and so forth but again that's there there's a solution to everything it just that you have to uh you have to make sure that you ask the questions like what we're asking right now is the real questions uh where in the Torah does it say the laws of skirt land stockings okay so as far as as far as the laws in the Tor all of the laws not just the laws of but all of the laws of the Tor are all in the oral tah all of them are in the oral tah so for example the Torah says in a few places that you must observe Shabbat you must keep Shabbat so how do you keep Shabbat what you put in a cage you put it in a closet somewhere you hug it you surround it could get a couple of guys with Spears to make sure no one touches it how do you keep Shabbat what do you do what does it mean keep Shabbat so the actual written tah does not explain how to keep Shabbat where do we know how to keep Shabbat we know how to keep Shabbat from the oral Torah same thing with says you have to cut the what's what does it mean it could be a ear it could be a nose could be a fingernail if I was me I would pick the fingernail doesn't hurt but he tell him it's the guy it's the uh you know most sensitive part of his body me if I was if I was M said no no let's cancel this one out no not that one not that one why it's a problem why because all of didn't do for 40 years the entire time we're in the desert we didn't doit mil that means all of we're not talking about eight eight days old that they don't have a choice all of 40 years why it was considered dangerous in the desert so that's why when Yeshua benon came across the across the ocean they went to is the first thing they did is they did BR for everyone so it was like a mountain of ol a mountain of M seriously was big uh big thing so now if the Torah if the written Torah didn't explain it and and and this was subjective and it was up to our translation then Yeshua would have changed because oh listen 40 years we didn't uh do nothing let's make a new law we don't have to we're grandfathered in we're grandfathered in let's the babies cut them cut them don't cut the adults so all of the laws doesn't matter whether it's or or anything else all of it comes from the oral Tor and the oral Tor has different parts of it we have the is the main the main source is then Mish breaks down into which explains the Mish and then from the we have the takes the laws from the takes the laws from the and explains it to us and the actually came after the rambam the rambam first took it and then sh took it from the rambam and so on and so forth so now this oral T that has many parts discusses modesty in many places the most important part relevant to this specific thing is that it says that a woman must cover 2third of her leg 2third of her leg she's only allowed to show onethird of her leg which up to her calf she's not allowed to show more than a half of her calf so theim estimated that this is approximately four to six inches four to six inches after the bottom of the knee some people think it's the top of the knee because they want short skirts they want to wear many skirts it's not the top it's the bottom of the knee so that means that after a woman sits down the skirts still needs to go and cover the bottom of the knee if a woman sits down and the skirt is not covering the bottom of the knee if she has to keep pulling it down it's not a Kosher skirt so that's one second thing is is that also talks about how all the clothes has to be loose fitting and the reason why is because the entire woman is Con considered nakedness so a woman needs to understand that the mind of a man is very different than a woman woman looks at a guy and she says oh he looks like a nice guy oh he looks like a funny guy oh he looks like a sweet guy oh he looks like a wonderful guy that's what women are innocent cute creatures in the world and that's how they think about guys they don't realize the guys are closer to Lions than they are to them as humans they look at a woman and they me doesn't matter could she be 90 years old I'm that serious unless the person ra also say this the the the stuff relevant to to to all types of sex crimes and things like that only enter a mind that has no that has no Tora in it if it has no Tora in it it'll have all types of thoughts he's going to have so it says a guy that has no in his mind he can look at a woman that's 50 years older than him he could look at a woman that's M on a deathbed he can look at a dead woman he can look at a dead woman and still thinks like that and still think things like that still 100% think like she is his wife that's what women do not understand why they don't have they don't have a mind like a man imagine two of them thought the same thing Hashem wouldn't have needed Sodom and gamor he would have already destroyed us back then you understand so that's what women don't understand about men men's minds are are without to they're the worst thing on earth and that's why hasem said to a he said your descendants are going to be either like the stars or the sand why the stars or the sand if you're referring to number both are huge there's a lot of stars and there's a lot of grains of sand so why would you mention both references so the sages explain the when is Holy and is doing and fulfilling the will of hem there is great as the Stars they're higher than everyone else when is going against theem they're worse than everyone else the're Bottom of Everything worst of everything this is actually one of the things that we saw in recent history as a proof to it is Nazi Germany a lot of people talk about the death that happened in Nazi Germany and it's a very very sad thing that six million Jews died many righteous people died and all of them were innocent but what a lot of people don't like to discuss is the fact that some of the Nazis not many but some of them were actually Jewish some of the Nazis were actually Jewish that's the part that people don't like to talk about would they call those Jews there's vexia and there's also other ones right so the point point is is that some of these people were Jews so how could they be how could it be they're killing other Jews when we go against theem we're worse than the Nazis you understand so that's a uh Shalom he says something extraordinary I heard it recently it's m unbelievable he says everything in creation whether it's a uh a rock or plant or cow or human has a certain significance in sham has a certain significance now when a rock is destroyed it doesn't become something else it's nothing it's dust when a plant is destroyed it doesn't become a rock disappears it's gone when a cow is destroyed doesn't become a plant or a rock becomes nothing food nothing says when a human is destroyed doesn't become anything else he says even more so for a Jew says even more so for a Jew a Jew unlike anything else is that when a Jew fulfills the will of hem he's elevated about above all creation but a Jew without the will of hem he doesn't even need to get destroyed physically he's already nothing ceases to exist so it's one of the things that many people just don't understand how important it is to um to connect to the mitv through action to connect to hm through the action so as far as all of the all of the that we have that's part of our oral Tor and it's not just about modesty it's about Shabbat it's about it's about all ethical law it's about everything all of it is part of oral Torah without oral T we have nothing else have nothing else absolutely enough that's why the sages explained that ifom the came to us like they did in kanuka we kanuka coming up and a lot of people like to celebrate kanuka it's actually the favorite holiday among the secular people secular people love the holiday of kanuka and for the most part everyone loves the the holiday of kanuka but the question is why is it that all of the other holidays have a trct in the written about them so for example has all of the fast whether it's or all of them have this is the part talks about all the fasts why we fast why the laws all these different things but is part of so all of them have a all of them have except except kanuka kanuka has talked about a little bit little bit in Shabbat little bit in the beginning of M Shabbat talks about but it's why can't you give why not so the very simple is because kanuka is a very beloved holiday it's a very beloved holiday that we didn't even need to teach it we loved it so much everyone knew the MIT of no Jew makes a mistake with the candles which side to start how many candles everyone knows it's eight candles no one makes a mistake with why everyone loves that mitvah everyone celebrates the mitvah of it's very easy mitvah it's a lot of fun tovah you eat donuts you have the you sing a little bit things you have the little Dr everybody loves the mitvah even your enemies can come over your friends with them on kanuka no problem but just uh today yesterday about it why is it that there's even more of a reason the kanuka really is not a holiday for secular people if you actually think about the history of Hanukah what's the what's the what's what's the whole M Miracle of Hanukah what's the story story is the Greeks came to the Jews and they said listen we don't want to kill you we don't want to kill you we want to kill your religion that's it if you leave and abandon the Torah you abandon the mitv you abandon all of these different things not only will we not kill you we'll make you Mayors and senates and we'll give you money power and politicians celebrities Hollywood shim whatever you want will give you just we don't have to no fighting no swords no nothing just don't keep Shabbat anymore just stop learning T just don't keepes that's it there's no physical fight here meaning that here we're not talking about what the Romans did or tried to do or the Nazis tried to do or all of the other nations in history really tried to do is just kill us physically the Greeks were not trying to kill us in fact quite the opposite they wanted us to become one nation with them just stop being Jewish I we'll give you money I we'll give you power I we'll give you this and we'll give you that we'll give you everything so now after this whole fight you have these five people the mbes he not talking about an army of uh powerful men each one has an arm the size of a you know a gladiator no talk about little never fought a war in their life never picked up a sword in their life never did anything all they did is they have a in front of them they learn all day all night one of them is 80 years old and he says okay guys enough's enough us five or six really are going to go fight an army of millions of Greeks we're going to go fight them not with the Torah we're take swords we're going to kill them with the swords come on you have to be religious to be nuts too come up at least get yourself an army at least get yourself a tank Le put some poison in their food I don't know something you five guys never train a Dan your life you're going to go kill them you don't even know how to hold the sword they go fight they win The Story Goes but now after they beat the they beat millions and millions of ye these Greeks they get to the bet mikdash that's been desecrated and they say look all of this oil is impure we have to find a pure oil now technically if you look at the gar there's no such thing as impure oil there's no such thing as impure oil it's impure uh milk can't have the milk of the go maybe comes from a camel or something there's impure wine if a go or Shabbat touches a wine you're not let to have it it's impure it's t fine but as far as as far as oil there's no such thing it's bread you're not allowed to have the bread of the fine all these things fine but oil where we're in a t written or oral where is say you're not allowed to touch impure oil where's impure oil nowhere there no such thing there's no such thing as impure oil so the whole Miracle all of us have been celebrating for 20 30 40 years about the holiday that they found a bunch of barrels of oil that are impure and then finally they found one that's pure what are we doing why just take there's no such thing as in pure oil you you're all smart people well you don't know what I know right now 2,000 years later what's the K the K is it's not that it was impure oil per se like it's impure wine wine impure because that's the oil that was opened that the Greeks want ttin tempered with it they want us to touch that one why because that's part of their whole gig it's not that they want to destroy Judaism per se they said listen you want to learn learn you want to have you wanna be modest be modest just have intimacy before marriage just eat cheeseburgers once a month just drive on Shabbat they didn't want to destroy everything all at once just break the rule here break the rule there break the rule here here and there wear extra tight clothes make a keeper that's extra small only wear it inside the house don't wear anything outside the house be embarrassed that you're Jewish don't be all of these things they didn't say listen stop being Jewish tomorrow you can't just stop being Jewish the guy has pay all the way to the floor yeah stop being Jewish tomorrow how say no I'm not telling you stop being je you can wear keep just make it extra small okay what about my suit you canar suit just make it tighter what about the beard trim the beard make it you know make make sure you look like a runway model what about the no take off the K put a wig on what about the Tora study a little less not an hour a day study 15 minutes a week what about chabbat chabbat you know rent the scooter to go to m with a scooter with a Shabbat scooter Point not allow says not allowed to ride a bike on on on Shabbat simply because you it may the chain may fall and you'll have to fix it and that's Shabbat so now the point is they didn't want to destroy Judaism at once it's just little things in essence modern Judaism modern Orthodox and now it's called or open Orthodoxy and then reform and then conservative and eventually nothing eventually nothing that's how it happens reform wasn't reform always conservative used to be more religious than modern Orthodox is today when it first started out it wasn't like it is now the point is they told you stop here stop here stop here stop here so the makabi says this oil this oil that's what they want us to use under no condition are we're going to use it we're going to keep looking for oil until we find one that's 100% kosher no no leniency they were the of the but there's no such thing as impure oil doesn't make a difference if we make an exception now we're going to make exception for the rest of our lives this holiday is a celebration of the the ultra religious finally won and the reason why is because part of the enemy a big part of the enemy weren't just Greek people were people called MIM means Jews that became Greeks Jews that decided okay let's wear shorter skirts and wigs and look like the G and act like the gim and focus on the stock market and focus on everything else except the Torah the Torah at home but the rest outside is everything else and that's the thing that was the biggest for me the celebration you have on kanuka is celebration of a or if you're in Israel big the word n is spelled n Miracle it means okay the word yavan Greek Greece is yud v yud v yavan that's Greece Miracle Greece the reason why we don't have a the reason why we don't have a special book just about the laws of kanuka is because kanuka is your of everyday life don't be a Greek and that's why if you combine n with yavan it spells n n means test what's the test stop acting like a Greek stop with the tight pants and the long wigs and the no keeper and the sometimes keeper and the and all the things that is modernizing Judaism you don't need to wait for Hanukah it's a test every day it's everyday survival test for a Jew kanuka just you know gives you a uh some donuts that's all it is the reality of it is the test of being a Jew is every day are you going to fall or you going to pass next until what point do we have to respect your husband and the wife rambam says that a husband needs to treat his wife as if she's his own body meaning he must love her as he loves himself love her love her as he loved himself but honor her more than he honors himself excuse me meaning that a husband must give more honor to his wife than he even asks for himself this is why a lot of problems in marriage today is because marriage unfortunately is a huge Mitzvah that was given to children that's what the say it's a big Mitzvah it was given to Children why people get married they don't know how to be married though they think that being boyfriend girlfriend is always going to be the same being boyfriend girlfriend oh it's so cute oh yeah bought me flowers oh yeah he he took me out to this oh yeah he took me okay it's not life is not going to be like that he's not always going to going to take you out you have to wake up in the morning go to work you have to wake up in the morning take care of the kids you have to do stuff like life happens you're not always going to be out and about you're not always going to look like you're 20 years old you're not always going to be in a good mood life happens and the problem is that kids get married and no one ever tells them this stuff they think they're always going to be kids they think it's always going to be happy and holding hand yay and you know people they don't realize that hey you're not going to be a kid forever the day after you get married your husband and wife whether you like it or not ha as much as you want you have to go pay the bills you have to pay the somebody has to go to work somebody has to ra you know have kids somebody has to raise the kids somebody has to do stuff somebody has to go to doctors somebody has to go you have to do stuff you have to go to to the city to get licenses to get this to get that to get a house to get chairs to get furniture you have to do stuff it's not hahaha anymore problem is they still want to think they want to play AA forever they want to play house forever so what happens as soon as they realize that house game is finished they get into arguments oh you're not the same anymore of course I'm not the same what do you mean I was your boyfriend uh for you I was living in my mom's house she was cooking for me every day I thought you're going to do the same thing cook you cooked let your mom come here and cook oh but I thought that you're going to be this and I thought you're going to be make money oh what do you mean make money I uh my father doesn't have any money he's a shoe salesman oh what kind of father is that should have had all these things why people people don't the kids they don't realize that you have to actually get training you have to get that's also you have to get training of what's going to happen once you become married as a matter of fact to such an extent it's so important to know what's going to happen after you get married the some of the in actually taught their girls taught their children how to be intimate with their husbands and this is 100% % mut this is 100% what they're supposed to do why he says don't ever this is actually one of the also um lot of things must read it uh also says that another place I think in and a few other places but anyway it's a uh why he says a woman it's not just about being modest what does modesty really do for a woman what does modesty really do for woman what we really care that she's uh covering her body really that's matters to us that much a woman must protect her beauty by protecting her beauty doesn't necessarily mean that every woman that wears a lot of clothes is the same level of beauty as another woman that covers her clothes what it means is that first and foremost she makes something is private information private privilege for a husband alone that already makes it more special that's number one two it's very important for for a woman to understand that the mind of a man is very different it's very different if a man is disgusted by a woman if a man is disgusted by a woman he could simply not want to be intimate anymore ever again a woman on the other hand can tolerate a lot more men in general are not pretty creatures especially not even close to being like a woman but women women don't mind it women don't mind a lot of things obviously all men need to learn how to take care of themselves and any man that walks around and uh you know doesn't take himself care of himself as far as hygiene and things like that you should know it's considered and he loses he keep Shabbat all he wants he has no a man must keep his hygiene but at the same token a woman needs to understand that even the smallest thing even the smallest thing if it looks in a certain way and the gets into the man's head especially if he watches all types of stuff on internet and outside and so on he could easily become unattracted to his wife so by her protecting herself and knowing and following all the of what to do and how to be intimate and all of these different things which I can give it a different sh if you guys want um is very very important why for the marriage to last how long forever all of these different things are for the purpose of protecting the wife and the husband's marriage and their special moment when a man and a woman protect that special moment every single time that together which is almost half the month it's literally better than it ever was before I've had students that didn't keep and then finally started keeping and so on and so forth they told me listen honestly if I would have known this I would have started 20 years ago we started 10 years ago I don't know why nobody ever told me this I thought it's going to be worse I can't be with my wife ever only half the month only this only that all of a sudden you see the two little love birds all of a sudden two little love birds what do you mean you hated her two months go now all of a sudden she's your best thing in the world because you don't understand she's the great what in it that's modesty but if you take the whole thing now if you take pieces oh she goes to the mik but she walks around with a minis skirt then she's just public property so now people need to understand that when it comes down to relationship the number one reason number one reason more than anything else more than modesty more than money more than anything else of why marriages break up or relationships break up is because one of the people lost respect for the other number one reason more than anything else once the woman lost respect for the husband and she starts cursing him or she starts talking him in a way that no one else talks to him once that line is broken he officially hates her she hates him there's no marriage the marriage marriage is has to you have to press control all delete it's to start all over once it breaks that line and there's no respect we're finished we have to start all over again we have to start M from nothing okay you want to keep you don't have to obviously break up every time the one of the people loses their mind they start cursing but you have to realize there's a threshold that you can't break if a man does not feel respect he no longer feels like a man he no longer wants to be there meaning that even at the time that even if you want to be intimate and so on at the time you're intimate he's not thinking about you he's thinking about his needs and probably with somebody else why he doesn't want to be once a man loses that respect what he feel feels is disrespect he no longer wants to be in that place same thing with a woman once a woman feels disrespected like she's less than what she is she no longer wants to be there she feels that this person's a stranger she doesn't want to touch her she doesn't want to look at her doesn't want anything to do with the house she doesn't want to be in the house so the issue of honor and respect the rambam says that a person needs to know that they have to respect their spouse even more than themselves even more it's such a critical point such a critical breaking point that you have to do it even more whatever you want for yourself do more for them meaning when a husband walks into the house it doesn't matter if he's a it doesn't matter if he's a Rabbi husband comes to the house comes from work comes from Sho comes from wherever the woman must stand up not like she's still on the phone hey honey she's on the phone still hey honey and like you know the wave like I'm busy go away or or sometimes not even the wave sometimes she's still talking to her friends he walked into the house no one even notices the guy goes straight from the front to his cave no one knows he came in no one knows he left as long as the check clears who cares if he's even here that's what happens in many houses as long as he comes as long as the check clears who cares if he's home one day he knows hey did you go to work the last month CU there's no money in the bank well you haven't noticed I've been sleeping for a month I was in a coma you ever noticed oh no I thought I thought fig I figured the kids would tell me you know the guy poor guy comes in leaves no one notices nothing she's on the phone with her friends she's buying shoes she's buying this she's buying that the guy walks in walks out don't bother me you want to eat go buy McDonald's go buy this go eat out go do this go do we're just here you just live with us poor guy me skin me skin the guy works all day no one pays attention to him or the opposite the guy comes into the house he thinks his wife is a slave she worked all day she did this she did that oh how come the soup is not uh perfectly hot how come the steak is not perfectly this how come perfectly that wait this a restaurant she's also tied okay fine okay didn't come out perfect you don't have to make every single uh flaw mentioned in the world so the issue of honor is extremely important in Judaism very important and every single time that there's a breakup every single time there's a Mist there's a issue of schom bite it's always starts from honor always starts from cavod once there's no cavod all bets are off one of the worst things that couples can do is involve their kids this happens a lot in the older generation sometimes the kids get involved they think they're doing the parents a favor oh IMA don't listen to him oh ABA she's this oh worst thing in the world you can do why that's a guarantee that there's no more Cab in the house cuz you just let the little kids that used to be babies you change their diapers get involved in your marriage one of the people one of the whether it's the husband or the wife that's getting it that's on the you know that's on the part that's automatically feels this is I'm I'm I'm Enemy Number One here I'm betrayed by the entire family and I'm telling you that person does not want to be there he's only there because he doesn't have another Choice does not want to be there so why you broke the line you broke the line you broke the barrier you broke the the the the element of respect of Honor that's deserved in the house husband must be treated like he's the king of the house wife must be treated like the queen of the house once that is different it's not Judaism so now you're going to see Many religious people unfortunately unfortunately and they don't have this it's their problem just because someone's religious doesn't necessarily mean they follow everything this is what you're supposed to do what they're doing is a different story that's their problem but this is Judaism Judaism means that you have to honor your wife more than yourself you have to honor your husband more than yourself woman walks in your wife walks into the house you have to stand up why she's the queen why you sitting down with your friends drinking beers the queen just came into the house why you sitting down why the queen just walked in if Obama came in you guys will all stand up the guy almost ruined the entire country looks like a monkey and you're going to all stand up for him but your wife that's a that's a KES kashim comes in and hey honey hey like you're doing your favor hey honey hey honey Queen just came in you know no hey honey like you're doing our favor same thing with the husbands same thing with the husbands what's his name the guy runs the country now the Trump with the wig so that guy comes in everybody stands up heyy you have n billion 10 every week he has another billion less billion no billion everybody stands up for him what your husband walks in oh you here again like it's a surprise it's his house poor guy it's his house this is this is you have to understand this is critical it's funny but it's true it's funny but it's true hopefully the Yuma is going to help you guys remember now is abortion Allowed no the simple answer is no the reason why is because the once the baby is a u once the baby actually has a which is after 40 days then it's not allowed the only condition that it is allowed is if it's putting the the mother at risk meaning if the mother's life is at risk Shalom she may die as a result of giving birth then abortion is not only allowed it's a must it's an obligation it's an obligation her life supersedes the baby's life a living life supersedes un you know something that's not born yet but on the other hand if a woman did not plan to have a kid either as a result of a relationship or result of rape or a result of any other reason it still does not give her right to kill an innocent baby it's not the baby's fault it's not the baby's fault that something happened in the world it's not the baby's fault once the baby's living anyone that has a doubt about this that the baby is living could ask me I could send him some emails and some videos to show you that after 40 days the baby is 100% like you and me he has hands he has eyes he has ears he has legs he has everything 140 days most people think that this this this satanic company planned parthood wants to gives abortions even after six months six months 40 days 40 days the says that the baby already has and it's been proven scientifically proven scientifically the baby already is living after 40 days so we had the Merit to uh save a few babies uh I had a woman one time skin out she was very confused she calls crying this that husband is a disaster all types of gambling and drugs and this and that the guy's a disaster m a walking disaster and uh she wanted to get divorced but uh she found out she's pregnant and he says is you know she's religious though she keeps mitv but she's like I can't have a baby with this disaster this guy's a time bomb so I can't have can I is there an a is there a leniency to not have a baby with as is not having maybe I is a lency somewhere this guy is par something who knows what's going to come out from this guy I no and no to say somebody is no there's no leniency it doesn't work what what works you have to become a psychiatrist for six months you have to become a psychiatrist for for six months now second woman tell you the outcome of both at the same time a second Woman married but separated divorce hate him he's a disaster my parents hate him this hate him that hate him dis why' you get married then why' you have another kid why is this this not the first one everyone's not the first one that that divorce that that kill the baby no don't kill nobody why you killing them same thing 6 months psychiatrist what that what this one I think was like 8 month psychiatrist when did they want to do an abortion when when they want as long as he was in the stomach as long as the baby is in the stomach the mothers want to do an abortion when they want to do an abortion it's only when the start as soon the second the second the baby leaves the body second he's outside or she's outside the mother is in love with the baby greater than anything that's ever existed in the world why it's officially alive now she felt it was alive now she knows it's alive meaning that what happened is that we've been fooled by planted Parenthood and secular knowledge in the world to think that as long as something is inside our body it's not living that couldn't be false bigger more lie the fact that you can't see it doesn't mean it doesn't exist the fact that it's uh it's not running around like my two little monsters in my house doesn't mean that it's not it's not it's not it's 100% alive you just can't see it's inside put a camera in there you can see it and that's that's that's what happens with this evil you know companies out there that try to convince people to to have abortions like it's nothing they make it like no listen it's like in Hebrew they call it appala appala means like a drop like it's nothing like you drop keys you drop keys you drop a baby no abortion abortion nobody even knows what it means abortion abortion it's something it's like H they give you a pill and it goes away like a headache give you a pill and it goes away like a headache oh what about when it's not a pill ah it's okay the doctor just goes inside there and just does a couple things no big deal you ever see what happens anyone that ever wonders what G looks like you know some people have asked me to do a about G now Gom is not a subject for everyone that's the reason why I haven't done it yet but I tell people listen if you really want to learn about Gom I could test you I could test you to everyone thinks they're ready everyone thinks they're ready for G for about G everyone thinks they're ready like the guys especially the guys are I want to learn about get I've been ready about it years already I'm ready about get home I said okay no problem I test you oh what no no no no test no no I want to test you wow I'm gonna send you a video of what an abortion really looks like if you can watch the entire video and not have endless nightmares you're ready for G why because what happens in that video is the best case scenario in Gom people think it's a joke no he just goes inside doesn't do nothing you know what they do so for any woman whether you had it you didn't have it thinking don't think you should know this what happened you should this because this is part of chuva first of all second of all you may need to know this information in case some nonsense comes into your head or somebody know wants to do it you need to know this stuff but more so than everything else more so than everything else you'll appreciate the little precious ones that you have you'll appreciate them you realize the mistake that they're making they not making most important thing is that people need to understand is that hem gave us the Torah to live by it not to die so if our life is at risk then obviously our life takes precedent but if it's just our preference because we don't think we have money or we don't have the convenient things in our life we don't think we can afford it you should know the Tora says that comes with the babies meaning that every child comes with his own parasa so if someone for example is waiting to be a millionaire or even just financially set before they have a kid they are and they're waiting to have a kid and until they're financially set they're making the biggest mistake in their life and the reason why is because with each child comesa so that million dollars you're waiting for may actually be the next baby he actually may be the one that has that money that hasem is going to give you with that with that baby as long as you don't have the kid you don't have the money Hashem gives you when you need it not when you want it he opens his hand and he gives it to anyone that needs it not everyone that wants it everyone that needs it and that's the most important thing that we need to understand so when people make foolish mistakes and thinking that just because they can't afford it today they won't be able to afford it in nine months from now or in a year from now they're making a very big mistake and a few people more than just these two that we've held the raban especially my raban is an angel she helps these women in a big way she gives them a lot of strength and and help to must not make the mistake of their life uh because it's not a mistake that you could easily fix you could fix it you could do true well for everything but this is one of those things that it's a very difficult Chua because you can't bring the baby back once you kill the baby you can't bring him back you can't bring her back so it's a very difficult chuva it's not an easy chuva you could do Chua everything is subject to chuva everything is subject to you can do TR for everything don't lose hope don't become hopeless don't go home and start crying all night cuz you had this you had that I you know I understand I also had issues in my life that I thought I could never fix and I understand you're not alone but the sure is for anyone who hasn't made the mistake yet the sure is for people that are thinking about it so it's very very important to know that the all the blessings that you're waiting for that you want that you need could be with that kid so hasem gives us parasa he gives us when we need it and he gives us P exactly when we need it and not a minute early not a minute late because that's when we get out of trouble also I'm out of questions over here you guys have anything else doesn't want the baby could just give it up for adoption it's right only to Jewish parents only to Jewish parents not to get not allowed to give the kid to to go some research like you saidash and I read some of the stuff like the women were doing the doing some of the stuff I heard were doing was like much worse than I know that anyone would do today I'm saying I don't think like we're but they were also back then I don't think we're that far off from what they were doing yeah well the stuff that they were doing them people stole their rabis wives no no I understand I I I understand what you're saying that there was a lot of wicked people in the times of the BET mikash um yes but look at their outcome look what happened at the end they all died for the most part they died to such an extent that if you read about it in and other times during the year so many Jews died that it literally created a river from City to City of blood that reached the stomachs of the horses talking about three feet of blood okay so uh the fact that they were Wicked is not helping our case you know the ones that survived weren't Wicked the ones that you know had the Merit so listen the excuses we have and you know from here until next year all the excuses to not do Chua to do this and this one was worse this one was better this one none of that's going to help you only thing that's going to help you is fixing yourself that's the only thing that's going to help you the uh last week was in um you guys read to so the was the book of where's you went to sleep already so if you read it in the language you understand because most people they know how to make the Sounds in Hebrew but they don't know what it actually means uh so read it in a language you understand if English is the Lang language you understand read it in English don't be a hero and make sounds read it in English read with commentary now what does it say Hashem gives a prophecy to aadya and he says to him that all the things that are going to happen at the end of times to asav and the descendants of asav and he says to asem says toaz you're despicable you're hated why you go to the other prophet he says I hat so what is all this hate against now we've talked in the past already about certain reasons but in this specific it actually says M extraordinary reason that we talked about two weeks ago but not connected to asav what is the biggest hate that hasem has a he says you sat there he did nothing you that that you saw is suffering you did nothing even worse you celebrated when they were down you celebrating when they were down that makes you hated that makes you disgusting in the eyes of Hashem and he gives this prophecy to for us to know of what's going to happen to all these people that don't do nothing that stand there and instead of helping people they laugh at them and so on and so forth this is not just to talk about as this is talk about all the people that do the same things as we learned this from the anus comes to rebi RI it says at the end of times it says that uh asav is going to be demolished he's going to be destroyed from the world so what's the point of me doing CH doing Anon is asking this what's the point if if I'm going to get destroyed he says no it says will be dest destroyed all the people that act like asav will be destroyed but those that are come out from asav that do Chu no problem where do we learn from himself himself was a convert himself was a convert so one of the I had is that it says in the save me from the hand of Asa from the hand of my brother from the hand of asav yov is telling hasm save me but yov is also called is save me from the hand of my brother from the hand of as but another thing that you could look at it as is that save let me save my brother a let me hand my hand save my brother from where from within why it's my my brother brother is inside asab his name is aadya that Oya could be any many other converts not just oad from a couple thousand years ago many other converts that's why the Z says one of the reasons whyem sent us to the four corners of the world is so that we recruit recruit all of the go that want to be part of that want to become converts and that's why the rambam says that the mitvah of loving a convert is more significant than loving a natural born Jew more significant than loving a natural born Jew to such an extent that you must love a convert as much as you love God even more than a natural born Jew and says something extraordinary I brought this little copy it says it says it says if you have a uh convert you have a convert and they have kids and the kids like the parents they have they're they keep and so on they have good midot it's better to marry your kids to them they're a natural born Jew that doesn't have these midot people today claim they love hem but they can't love the convert there's no way that you can love hem if you don't love the convert there's no way you could love a without loving the convert and the reason why is because some of the Great greatest people that ever lived were converts one of them we just read about was oad another one R AKA another one you have a you know uh you have a countless people you have countless people that came from converts and hasm made these mitv not just for the people that lived many many years ago it's for the people that live today so people that live today so these are extraordinary things extraordinary things that are written in the Tora that most people are just not aware that even exist people think oh no if it's a convert it's lower than me no it's actually higher why they chose there's also another famous aadya there's a few famous OAS in in life in history one is aadya the prophet why did he become a prophet because even though his influence was aav King aav and E which were a wicked King and wicked Queen they were his influence he still chose to be a sadik by hiding uh all of the 100 prophets he hit 100 prophets when they made it the Creed to kill a bunch of prophets so despite having a bad influence he still decided to be a sadik which is the opposite of as which had good influence and decided to be a rash anyway so that's one famous Oya that got the pro the uh gift of Prophecy because of what he did another famous his real name was his real name was that was his real name YF was added later but oada was his name and he was the but people think oh he was a famous Rabbi like I don't know some other rabbis in the world he was famous he was famous maybe wrote A Few books what people don't understand is that to become it's not just because you you read or you or you wrote a few books loved to such an extent it's very hard to explain it forget understand it I'll give you an example every single day he would before he became famous he would go to his friend who was the only guy in town in Jerusalem that had a car come on let's go to uh from town to town let go to different places why where we going he goes we'll go to wherever there's Jews we'll go there I told you guys this story if maybe you heard it maybe you didn't it would start going whever there was yeshu there was a lot of those was people There He Go to b a bunch of strangers and want to say something people are sitting there leave leave us alone what do you want who are you because people AB want to talk okay what do you want he start talking about about convince them to take their kids to yes now he didn't have any Yesa he doesn't have any commission from it he doesn't have any benefit from it nothing other than doing a Mitzvah net 100% for hem that's why one of the heads of the today uh said that people don't know they think that Shalom built sapharic Judaism in Israel only what they don't realize is that most of the Yesa students on the ashkanazi site also came from radya this a person that loved am to no end so that's another famous ovadya another famous ovadya is a ovadya that's mentioned in a letter the rambam wrote there was a uh convert name Oya that wrote a letter to the to the rambam he said for you know it's this it's all different questions he told them in the letter that he's a convert the ramb focused a good porish of the letter praising this guy for being a convert he goes you know you're higher than me you're higher than because me hasem chose me to be a Jew but you chose hem hasem made a special mitvah just for you you're considered higher than so that's another famous so it's a very good name my son's name is [Music] name be like the what else talking about okay yeah let's say how how do you make olive oil olive oil take a bunch of olives take a bunch of Olives you crush them crush them with stone usually and from the crushing the olives eventually there's oil that comes out of it a lot a lot of Olives stay that stay spare but there's some oil that stays and you collect a bunch of it or something easier you tell ABA ABA please buy olive oil and they'll give you a whole bottle of olive oil it's cheaper and save save some time like I mean back then how did they make it how do they make olive oil back then same thing like we do now now they do with big machines but back then they used to take big uh you know they take a lot of Olives they take a huge Boulder a huge Rock huge rock that was like be like a wheel and then tie it to a donkey or a bull and let and and put it into a machine into a thing where the bull would turn you know continue dragging it in a circle continue dragging in a circle and every time the rock would actually go and uh crush the uh crush the olives It Crush the olives and little by little make more and more olive oil and then the olives olive oil would go into a little stream and they would collect it now in that's what he's asking he's not asking about the olive oil he's asking what does it mean what happens if it's a go that's making the olive oil can he do it that's what he's asking you guys think he's asking about the ol he knows about the machines of olive oil what is he asking about he's asking about what if it's a can I hire a can I hire to be to to make the olive oil can I hire to if it's olive oil if I can make the olive oil it's the same machine can I just put it for grapes too L can't do it for grapes grapes I can do it for grapes maybe it's not so what happens so the important part is to make sure that we know who this person is if he's an idol worshipper if he's not an idol worshiper that's also carry significance that's number one number two if for example he's using the same machine to make a uh to make um to make grapes to make uh wine now if he drops something into the that's mistake drop something in it depends which section of the machine is certain section that holds the juice and the uh the fruit itself if it's there it's okay you could still kosher wine why because it's not really the wine yet but if it's the section the last section the last section that has just the juice it's t you can't use the whole wine that's what he was asking why cuz because it could be that he was doing it purely for the sake of ruin the whole thing that's why what else better question you guys I got to bring him on Tuesday no go ahead question let's say someone comes up to the Torah and kisses it and then another guy comes up and he says stop kissing the Torah God is not going to sing he's just a piece of dust but what does say well Hashem will punish that person eternally uh because what he did was something extraordinary wrong number one he desecrated the name of Hashem uh number two he did it in public number three he violated the uh you know the uh first second and third commandments so that person that did such a thing has a very very big punishment waiting for him and what the K should do that has such a person like this in a k is take the person by the neck and the uh belt throw head first right outside of the synagogue why because such a person does not deserve to be in a place where hasem uh you know people pray to hasem it's okay to be physical with such people I don't want to teach violins except people like this good joke good joke um terrible what I told you was really good I'm terrible with jokes I barely remember to want me to remember jokes too what about the one I told you I forgot what remember the one you told me he's asking good questions you're asking jokes no God yeah a joker no no no ask a question ask a question see you're ruining him already you're ruining him already no go ahead ask ask ask a question I'll think of a I'll think of something okay so let's say says that you can't that you can kiss the and then he says no you cannot and then he takes the Jew out and then he decides to keep all the rabbis out and then he keeps it for him and says it no Jewish star and he makes is he a is a Greek he's Greek this guy no like millions of Germans oh Germans am oh we have to kill them so to kill them if they're and what happens if they crush the Tor we're not going to let them do it because hm will help us they got away with it one time once in l once and last they're not going to get away with it again how did they do that we made a lot of sin so we didn't have hashem's protection made a lot of s so if we do chuv and we learn T like we're learning today together and we get more and more people to learn T together more and more people to do the will of hem more and more people to keep mitv then hhm will fight our Wars why because it says in the Tor in chapter in chapter 14 verse1 14U tells is God will fight your Wars and you shall remain silent when is he gonna fight your Wars when you do the will when you do whatever hm says you keep you learn t honor your wife honor your husband keep me all these different things you don't have to worry about wars why God will fight for you God will fight for you don't have to worry about any wars and that's the best that's the best way to fight a war when God's fighting for you I'll give you guys an amazing K amazing and we'll finish like this so was the fourth pillow of the mashia comes from now says to Hashem says hem I'm going to go chase them and he says I'm going to go chase them and you kill them I'm going to go chase the enemy but you kill them though I'm going to make you know make it look natural I know I'm not going to kill them you kill them but at least I'm going to go and chase them and you killed them his descendant yoat King says hem I don't have the energy the strength to go chase them get Chase the enemy I'm just going to pray I'm going to pray and you kill them I'm going to pray and you kill them a few places mentions him says supposed to be mashia wanted to make him mashia says he was buried with a seph Tora he was also one of the descendants of says I don't have energy to chase them and I don't have an energy to pray I'm going to sleep and you kill them I'm going to sleep you kill them that's what happened AEM made a come from sh killed all of them 180,000 soldiers amazing so now ask a big question wait a minut how could it be how could it be what the descendant of is more righteous has more than that's the that's confused it's not possible why we know that from the we've continued deteriorating how every single generation there's no possibility that you are going to be greater than anyone before you no possible doesn't matter you could study from here till a thousand years you're still not going to be greater than Rashi you're still never going to be greater than ramban you're still never going to be greater than RAB AKA never it's not possible you don't have the tools so now how could it be that says I'm not praying at all you go kill them Hashem kills them but David says I'm going to war I'm going to chase him you killed him more than didn't stop slept 15 minutes a day so here the was at such a high level of such a high level of such a high level of he said to I know I know that you're doing everything I know you're doing everything but through you doing everything it was such a high level that you know that even if I'm the one that's killing it's really not me it's you even if I'm the one that's holding the sword it's really not me it's you even if I'm the one working on Wall Street making millions it's really not me it's you even if I'm the one selling the car it's really not me it's you even if I'm the one that's doing anything in the world it's really not me it's you he's such a high level he says nothing that I do is me it's really you so I'm just going to go chase because that's my effort I could just Chase just to make it seem like I'm doing something but I know even what I'm doing is not me it's you y wasn't as high level as he says hem I don't have such high levela that I don't have to do anything like uh you know I can't I can't I can't I don't I believe that if I go to war like David and I chase I don't have the mar they're going to kill me so I'm scared so let me just pray at home let me pray at home you kill them I'm scared I don't have this like let me pray at home says I don't have this like is if I go they're going to kill me I don't have this because if I pray maybe people GNA think that my prayer actually caused you to kill them I don't even have that scoot so I'm just going to sleep you kill them I don't have Theo praying you killed them I don't have the scoot you understand that's when you don't have when you don't have the you don't have the the commentary you just read things like it's a story like it doesn't make any sense it's all the opposite that's why you need the that's what you need the tah this will help us get closer and closer to the truth understand what loving hasem is understand what is understand what understand what T is get closer and closer to when comes we have something to show for iten [Music] [Applause] [Music] he [Music]
