you know everybody's saying that we're
living in unprecedented times and I
believe it's true we are but for many
reasons there are things happening all
around the world that are totally
unprecedented
an example of that is this Friday at
6:15 there's something happening that I
believe is pretty unprecedented I want
to tell you about it but let me give you
a little introduction first okay you
know one of the things I see happening
is that everybody's looking right now
for answers people want to know where's
this going how Bad's this gonna get
what's gonna happen what does tomorrow
bring there are a lot of unknowns and so
we're kind of tuning in to everything we
can we're turning on ABC and NBC and CNN
we're reading every single news article
listening to every economist and turning
on every single talk from every doctor
we're listening and turning on
everything we can to find answers but
sometimes in life in order to find the
answers in order to find the piece in
order to find the wisdom order to find
the tranquility that we want that we're
looking for
it's not about turning things on but
it's about turning things off it's
incredible how enlightening silence can
be when we begin to turn things off you
know we're taught that thirty-three
hundred years ago we all stood at Mount
Sinai and God said I'm a Shem your God
and at that moment it was silent in the
world and everybody thinks it was silent
because God said hey everybody Shh I
want to talk but that's not what
happened
what happened was at that moment the
world quieted down we all turned off and
it was silent and when it finally got
that quiet in the world in our lives all
we could hear was I am Asha I'm your God
my friends if you want answers if we
want that peace that tranquility it's
not about turning things on if I start
to turn things off this Shabbos the
Jewish people I'm gonna try to get
together for an incredible incredible
act of unity and an act of connection to
the Jewish people to the Almighty -
Shabbos itself and what project inspire
is doing is they're really trying to
bring all the Jewish people together
this Friday 6:15 Eastern Standard Time
just before Shabbos we're gonna have a
talk from Charlie Harare a talk from
Brooklyn Koval we're gonna have us a
musical entertainment and I want to
encourage everybody all the Jewish
people to log on it's project inspired
calm forward-slash Shabbat check it
out let's all tune into Shabbos let's
turn off all the noise and let's turn on
that connection
the tranquility the peace and the
answers we're all looking for as we all
