Rabbi Singer Reveals the Role of Elijah Before the Messiah

We are living in a time right now with the Messianic vibrations are moving around the world. This is the topic of conversations [music] everywhere. So just so the audience knows this that the Christian Bible cuts chapter three in two parts. So in a Christian Bible is actually four chapters in the book of Malachi and a Jewish Bible there are three chapters in the book of Malachi which end not with four verse four and five but rather chapter three verse 23 and 24. And you are quite right. Elijah the prophet comes before the Messiah immediately before the Messiah and he comes for a number of reasons. He He comes to answer questions that we need in Jewish law but most important is to bring about repentance. Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet. This is chapter three verse 23 in a Hebrew Bible before that great and awesome day of the Lord. Now here's the key of what he's supposed to do. And just as a backdrop as a backdrop if we go to the end of chapter two and that's the reason why I made the point about the chapters, chapter two ends of Malachi is why is there injustice in the world? Why are things not right in the world? And what I've always taught you, Malachi is always answering a question. If you don't know that, you're not going to be able to penetrate and apprehend this holy work, this sacred work. And also remember this is the end. I mean this is the end of the prophetic period. So it actually tells us how is this going to happen? And if you listen carefully children of most high, you'll understand what's going on. What is he going to do? This is a marvelous thing. And most people read what I just said and just gloss over it. But pause. It says of voice which means I will restore the hearts of the fathers to the children. And then it says I'll restore the children hearts of the fathers. But that doesn't make sense. Let me explain to you what's happening here. And we are living in a time now where there's a mass repentance in the world. Ordinarily, what we would expect is parents should convey Torah to their children cause their children to be faithful. We know from Isaiah 59:20. That is a epic passage. Isaiah 59:20 tells us what will trigger the coming of the Messiah and that is the repentance of Jacob. Well, it's redeem will come to Zion of Jacob. To those who repent in Jacob. This is very very critical. That's why calculations are not just frowned upon but are forbidden. We don't engage in calculations because it's not a calculation, it's about repentance. But how will this repentance work? So it's very striking that what's going on here. One of the signs of the Messianic age is that the children of parents who are not religious turn to the God of Israel. Very striking feature and that is whereas in the Torah ordinarily the Torah says for instance and you should convey to your children the context of that is Passover. So we're always told that parents are teaching children and children are learning from parents. That's the end of the book of Deuteronomy. If you want to know about what's going on about the God of Israel, ask your father he'll tell you about it. Ask your father he'll tell you about it. Your elders and they'll tell it over to you. That's normally where we'd expect. We would expect parents to be the ones who are the ones who are the ones who are instructing the children to be faithful. However, the last generation as we approach the coming of the Messiah there's a reverse in that there's a mass repentance among children which means you have children that are God fearing that turn to the God of Israel but their own parents are not that observant or not that religious. And they were children are now turning to their parents and inspiring the parents to repent which is a very unusual generation. That's in fact the generation we're living in now. My parent doesn't believe in the God of Israel. My parent doesn't My father doesn't believe or my mother doesn't believe and I do. What do I do to inspire my parents? It's one of the signs of the Messiah and it's one of the things that Elijah the prophet will trigger and rectify. And it's for that reason the last passage of the entire prophetic works. So, this is Malachi chapter 3 verse 24. In the Christian Bible, it's the last verse also of chapter 4. That's why it begins in the reverse order of what one would expect. The of voice out burning and he'll restore the father hearts of the fathers to the children. And today we see so many I know so many people who have come to know the God of Israel and then have inspired their parents to do true love their parents to turn to the God of Israel. Of course, we have many times where you have children who have turned to the God of Israel. I saw an article in the Jerusalem Post about a month ago with Hebrew University. Now, despite its name, Hebrew University is a it's kind of like a secular university. I mean, it really is. It's not like a It's I mean, it's it's Hebrew University. It's an Israeli university. It's very prestigious university, but it's not like religious studies Shiva in any way. But they did a survey among its students. They found like like a 25% increase in religious observance among its own students. So, that's what's happening here in land of Israel and is occurring around the world. So, Elijah the prophet's main role is to uh usher in the coming of the Messiah, to call out for people to repent. People will understand that it's him. We are living in a time right now with the Messianic vibrations are moving around the world. And this is the topic of conversations everywhere. Now, as I've mentioned to you, there are much more dangerous and brutal wars going on in other parts of the world. You have a real genocide going on in Nigeria right now. Ukraine, Russia, and so on. It's mind-blowing. And and so on. Plenty of it. But what's critical is I don't have to I do not have to right now stop this show and look at the news and look at the headlines of the legacy media. They're all focused on this war about what's going on here in the land of Israel. A country smaller than 46 states in the United States. Gaza, an area of only 365 square kilometers, not miles, kilometers. So it's very very tiny area. Lebanon is a country smaller than Israel. Iran is a very large country. And everyone the world is fixated on this. War. And of course, people are very well aware that the prophecies of the end of Zechariah, the last third of Zechariah, and Ezekiel, specially from 34 all the way through 48. And in particular, Ezekiel 38 and 39, which is the war that's a precursor to the coming of the Messiah. So God's name will be known around the world among the non-Jews and the Jews. Please do read it for yourselves. That's the role of Elijah to call upon the world to repent. Uh and also to answer many questions. There are also many I'll just share this. There are many people who are Jewish who don't know they're Jewish. There are many people who are priests who don't know they're priests.
