going to be we're going to last year we spoke a little bit about the true story of Hanukkah we talk about Hanukkah you know it's incredible that the only Nace the only only one of the nation that we have these actual these actual um texts not just from the Yiddish sources which we have and actually the English and sources the gamara we have we have something but it's obviously not a complete picture the Gamora is not a history book but we actually have the safety macabian which was a safer which is a we call it a storm looking China it didn't actually make it into the it didn't make it and if we and if you really understand it if you go through the the true sources you really understand so much more of what hazal is talking about about the story of Hanukkah but you know we see we spoke a lot about exactly what the war looked like we spoke about that it wasn't this Army we spoke about how this sort of this guerrilla warfare that went on as the as the as the the marketing were going into the Messianic sort of like uh almost like a Vietnam type style Wharf and that's why you know but I want to start way back to understand a little bit more to understand a little bit more who they didn't want to waste their time with any kids that were not going to be able to one day be a good Spartan and then you have the other part of Athens and Athens where all the culture is coming from we're all the greatest artists music modern music starts in in Athens they they do tremendously sophisticated in so many different ways Socrates Plato Aristotle you know this is uh you know the greatest thinkers in in in in in all of history in the in the in the in the secular world is going to come from that's from from Athens that's the other part of Greece as a matter of fact the word democracy is created under the Greeks the Greeks are the ones that create the concept of democracy which actually changes the whole world which is that people have the ability to elect their leaders so this is this is you know with all that yavan we talk about the Messiah them we don't understand it's not like you know a group that came in that we understand that oh they wanted to take away which we'll talk about how that evolved but this was this was a country this was a sophisticated country This was um I'm truly uh um a a developed country in ways that no country has ever was that was able to do it and you know as the as as reviewed our lady says he says the truth is that he's speaking right about yavan that it doesn't have has flowers but there's no pre there's nothing that you could really you can't rebuild the oven there's nothing to torious these are um you know these are deep thinkers the philosophicals but they're not there's no pairing there's just it's just flowers now the he was born after many years is that she's brought that he was born through Caesarean it was like Manchester they said he had this Alexander and um they described him he had he had a here like a Mane like a lion he had huge eyes different colors one was black one was blue I mean this was uh and he was a mighty mighty person and this this Alexander walks over to this horse one day and his horse literally walks up to Alexander puts his head down and he starts riding this horse even without a saddle without anything and they understood at that point that uh that this kid his dream is coming true that this kid is going to take over the the government and he basically tells his father he says what is this thing that you're giving money to to Paras I you know I'm not giving money to Paras I got this I'm starting an army you don't we're not giving any more any any money anymore the king of Paras he sent messages to Philip he said he said no we got to get paid money so he said he was Alexander didn't said do not give him any money and he told the shluchem he says tell your kingdomish that is that if when Philip didn't have had children he says he had a he had a golden egg he said young was never able to break away from Paras and he takes 40 000 soldiers and he goes after and he starts fighting for us and he is gonna he's gonna he's going to become the greatest fighter the greatest General The Greatest Warrior of all time never ever to be replicated in in any sort of fashion the greatness of Alexander was going to come Alexander the Great so here's where it starts listen to me and as The Story Goes Over Alexander was going and um and as he as as he's going out he sees shimana history of the kids so this is after the porn story right through the first base in English is destroyed and here's the first place maybe should we go to gala's brother we're going to bother and then and then there's um you know at that point that's the kind of second uh is from from so much more of a story about a war about any single War than it is about a culture as it's going to be a way of life as we can see at this point client so if we think about it there's no mahalikis in
