it's time for rabbi mankiewicz weekly
Torah lesson here with his spiritual
perspective and insight
rabbi megawatts welcome to this week's
Torah lesson this week's Torah portion
is actually a double Torah portion
precious mathayus and masai the last two
portions of the Book of Numbers which is
Shabbos Kazak but the question the week
is how can we be happy when life slows
us down at times so in this week's Torah
portion we learn about the second Torah
portion Messiah we learn about the
traveling's in the Jewish people the
Torah portion is called my site for the
traveling's of the Jewish people and
they actually traveled 42 times that
means they traveled and they encamped
and the Torah tells us every single time
they travel they stopped they hung out
and they kept them traveling so there
are you asked a simple question within
Jewish people they went forty-two
journeys in order for a journey to take
place you have to travel and then you
have to stop if you don't stop they'd
hide you get to 42 so you traveled masse
and the Torah tells hanya they stopped
there was a masa and if Ania
so the Rebbe asks a question why is it
called a Lamaze a B'nai Israel these are
the travelling should be called a Lamaze
a vicar near the bidet is wrong they're
traveling and their encampment but
nevertheless the Torah doesn't do that
the Torah only calls at masse
so the Rebbe brings out a phenomenal
idea from and he says you must say that
even though there was a hernia they
stopped but from God's perspective they
were moving why is that because why did
they stop they stopped because they were
lazy and he wanted a rest
no they traveled because God told the
travel and they stopped because God told
him to stop so even though technically
they stopped but the reason why they
stopped was because I'll pee hm
so the Torah calls it a la Messiah that
it's also considered traveling so the
answer the question how can one be happy
when life slows you down when you
realize that everything is from Russia
everything is from God they're traveling
from God and of stopping us from God so
since it's all from God there's only a
reason to be happy and grateful for the
travelling and even when you have to
slow down since all PSM
you're grateful and happy this week's
Torah lesson is a memory of Baro Benari
laid and vinyasa
