i would like to welcome everybody for joining us everyone for joining us um for taking time out of your day or out of your night uh to come to a share like we said last time last time we were on this answer this question if you could in the thousands how many people need not can use need today how many people do you know who survived corona who survived maron who survived the war who survived stalin who survived anti-semitism who survived how many people do you know that need right now they need reassuring they need love they need validation they need you to say listen rabbi say i'm giving a share just on just because we need to know that we're good and we need to know that hashem loves us and we need to know that and you're good and you have value how many people need today how do you do that with your fingers i don't think so with the dance i don't think so you do that with words that same vessel that same cli that you could destroy a person literally rip him apart you could also build him forever and the mention we're going to go through some stories that it is is mind-boggling how one word one sentence one phone call one email one little thing produced so much so when used properly words have unimaginable power and obviously when used improperly it's extremely dangerous there are there are many stories that we know we're going to try to focus on the positivity but there are many stories that we know that the up was broken by the fart right after the var this girl finally 25 years old she thought she had a of crisis they got engaged and one person said one thing and the night of the vert the night of the birth was over and this girl was crushed and her family was crushed and it could be she's not married i'm collecting for i'm kidding but the point is that a few words are now destroyed it's totally destroyed so we need to realize this we need to realize the power of our words and it's our choice it is one hundred percent your choice to produce with the vessel that code sparkle gave you with this mouth with your words that you have with your tongue right life and death in the power of the tongue we all know that it is our choice to utilize our most special and proper gift so the first thing i'm going to talk about is obviously is something that we all need to know the to work on the s we all have to have an awareness because if you do not have an awareness you are going to be in big trouble it's like saying you know people say like oh if i don't know the locals i'm good to go what do you mean what you think it's like saying like you're walking and there's tons of paddles everywhere i'll just close my eyes like this i'm not going to fall in the potholes ridiculous of course you're going to fall in because they're there and we talk all day long you know we all know that shabbos is so important and shemitah's coming up is so important and there are so many alas that are so important and so vital to know because they come once every seven years or once every week or once every twenty eight or one seven thirty once a month we're talking every day every day all day long and for some of you you guys even talk in your sleep something come on you talking all day and all night so therefore we need to know the halals of words because words are so powerful both a good way and a bad way so therefore number one is we need to know that there are halaquahs election and we need to step up to the game we need to answer the call and that would be a great thing to do by your shabbos table to do by your tuesday table or your wednesday table or whatever you want with your children go through some shimmery selection and um hashem you'll be saying okay now i want to start off with this we already started it's not really starting off but i'm just saying it because just go it flows i want to start off with a story this is a famous story oh the truth is you know i don't even know if it's a famous story but i've said the story a few times with you a story this is a very powerful story it's a very sad story and a very happy story a very real story there's a lot of lessons we could take from the story but there's one there's one purpose i want to bring in and that is to realize the physique of what one person could do to another person with words so the story goes like this the story goes like this there was a boy who walked into his school and he went to the locker room he went to his locker he emptied out his locker took all of his books you're thinking i know that's starting okay hazardous digger he took all the books and he started heading home you literally just did that thing that is right and he took all the books and he started going home now on the way home he was he was a kid who was a victim he was bullied which is another whole topic which is a very serious thing bullies in school and everything it's a real real thing and he was walking home and a few little gangsters little jelly bean gangsters you know fifth graders whatever it is they walked over to him and they bumped him i'm sorry i didn't see like the road is like that big and we didn't see you knock down all his book like he literally started crying like oh maybe next time be cool and they walked away anyways he's picking up his books his kid's broken apart you know he's been bullied all these years and this one kid who sees what happens and this happens to have been a cooler kid cooler kid he walks over to him he picks up the book he says yo let me help you with that and you know what i want to be your friend let's let's just chill let's just i want to walk home with you and he walked home with him and they developed a relationship and he used to be him he used to say words to encourage him he used to say that you have value and they developed a relationship okay anyways years and years and years later with this friend and with his husband with them growing up and becoming a person who wasn't bullied anymore he ended up becoming a very cluttered person in the school and became valedictorian and he got up to speak he got up to speak by his uh speech and he said i want to thank akash baruch for everything he does i want to thank my parents for everything they do and i want to thank you and i want to think plainly and i did politeness under this school and then he says but last lastly and most importantly i want to thank thank this boy this boy from all those years whatever his name was muli i want to thank shmueli and i want to tell you why and nobody knows this and this may be a little bit embarrassing but i need to bring out a point for years and years i was bullied and there was a certain point i i tried to do it i tried to speak at you nothing was working and there was a certain point i was like that's it i am done i am done being bullied i am done living with this pain and therefore i do not want to live anymore but i also didn't want my parents to go to the school and have to empty out my locker after they found out that something crazy happened because that would be even more embarrassing for them so i decided that i am going to empty out the locker myself and then go home or not really home right go to jump off a bridge or something and as i was walking out as i was walking out the bullies came back and they dug the pain deeper they hit me even harder and there was one boy who came for the first time this never happened before somebody came and said you have value he said that with his mouth he said let me be your friend i want to be there for you and he helped me pick up the books yeah he saved my life and that's why right now in my speech i want to thank shmuley for saving my life because without you i would not be here today this is a very scary story and a very powerful story and you think shmuel even knew what he was doing no i doubt he did because you never know there you never know where your hazard goes how far your words go how far your limit goes how far all the things all the brachas you make everything that you do with your mouth in a positive light in a positive way you have no idea how far that goes and you can't prove it only hashem knows that's why we say ms what's ms m says hashem is the only one who knows taka how far you went what that did you said for that person to go to a certain school and they went to a school but and because of you that was all because you just said by the way i think you should go to that school a little bit because of that you gave that's a good place to and i think you'll fit in perfect there could you imagine power of your words how much what it could do and we all know the stories during the holocaust during the war years of that person who every morning he walked out of his house and he said good morning to that random german and the next day he said good morning and the next day he said good morning and he was just positive with his words and he got saved because that was the german who was there by the thing and he said oh go that way go out we can have it oh you're the one who was nice to me go that way and now because of that because he lived through these 150 000 children that's a lot of children but grandchildren and grandchildren all because of all those good mornings all those words when was the last time you went to your neighbor and you gave a good good morning last time you went over somebody gave them you said they were down there are so many people that are down now there are so many people that could use now and it doesn't take much it really doesn't take so much so i think if we're able to utilize our words um there's so much that we could do i just want to bring in i think you know for this type of this type of share i i think you know staying in stories is just the way to bring out the power so i want to bring another thing over here that i saw and that is that you're even when it's said incidentally even when you didn't even mean it it has such awesome results so this is a story also it could be it's a famous tear that you know in the winter of 2002 rabbits and sarah mizells sat shiva for her beloved daughter whose name was alton malka it could be that you know the story it's like a famous thing that happened but anyway she was tragically killed in an accident and a woman who came to menachem told her one thing that changed the world forever home from school as a child and he had a paper from his teacher i'm saying it quickly because i think most of us know the story and heard it already and he said to his mother my teacher told me to give you this paper and only you could say it so what is it saying and she reads at them she looks at it her eyes get all teary and she says this is what the note says it says your son is a genius shh your son is a genius this school is too small for him it's just it's his teachers are pushing blown away he doesn't have good enough teachers here and therefore he can't be here anymore like we have nothing more to offer him nothing more he was probably thinking himself like what oh my god i lit the thing on fire i blew up the bag you know the bathroom was blown because what the mother read to him and we all know that many years later he became one of the biggest inventors of the century he became one of the biggest minds like what haflow what he became and his mother died and years and years later after his mother died he happened to have been going through one of the closets and he noticed that paper folded this is years later and he opens the paper and he sees that the ink was erased he couldn't read it and he looks at the paper and he reads what it really said on it and it said like this your son is mentally deficient we cannot allow him to attend the school anymore nothing more hurtful than that you're not well mentally so you can't come here anymore so go away bye like nothing could destroy somebody more than that the opposite and his mother gave him the epitome of and said look how much value you have look who you are look at the power that you hold you're like a genius your teachers they just see in you that no one could do it like they care they can't and he writes in his diary he says a mentally deficient child he says thomas edison was a mentally deficient child whose mother turned him into the biggest genius of the century the biggest genius i don't know i'm saying no yeah so what do you see from there what do you see when you take a note and you just tweak it a little or a lot you could change a person's destiny how many children do we have how often do we speak nice to them how many times when we put them to sleep do we give them i'm so proud of you there's so many good things you did today yes yes there are certain things and the why compliment validate next app it's so important and the more we do it the more they'll do it and then you could just you could change everything so let's compliment each other let's give
