when couples want to rebuild trust, I asked this

If trust were to return, what difference would that make in your life? What would that do for you? And I'd take their answer very seriously because they'd probably answer something like connection would return. We'd feel more intimate. There would be more love. Whatever the answer would be, trust is a mechanism. Trust is a strategy, is a means to build something, to build connection. And when can I when I can identify what they're actually wanting to build together, we can work backwards and get that trust back.
