Rekindle your spark

If you're looking to deepen your relationship with your husband or wife, listen to this advice that I'm going to share with you. You have to get to know your spouse. That's difficult. You work, you have children, you're busy, you're tired, you're exhausted, get home, and you just want to plop on the couch. You have to make time to know what excites your spouse and what upsets your spouse. Having that information builds intimacy, builds that connection. You have to show your spouse that you know her or him. He or she has to actually appreciate that you know him or her. The more you know your spouse on every level. The more you're sensitive and pay more attention to what he or she appreciates, likes, and dislikes, the deeper your relationship is going to be, even amidst relational turmoil and difficult times.
