Rabbi Eytan Feiner Shiur on the Essence of Chanukah at Scheiner's Shul

Good evening. BECAUSE TOP PRIZE WAS I know this dates me. I don't know how many people HAVE ONE THESE DAYS, BUT it was a walkie-talkie. A set of walkie-talkies. Now, if you're a seven, EIGHT-YEAR-OLD BOY, AND THEY'RE advertising number one prize to the best guy in London learning group, set of walkie-talkies, you know that you're going to work hard for it. SO, I don't even KNOW WHAT IT WAS. MISS DONNA MADE IT INTO THE GARBAGE RIGHT AWAY. But there I sat and I could go back to the lobby and came home tonight. AND I ENVISION THERE I AM SITTING ON THE couch and I'm crying and my Rebby comes over to me and HE PUTS HIS ARM AROUND my shoulder and he says, "Aton, I know you didn't win the top prize and you're wondering why. You're right. You might have memorized more than everybody else.
