It was 3 days before I lost my wife. Once in Shabbos, the doctors called over the family and they said, you know, the cancer that she has spread all over the body. Everything is gone. She has the most 72 hours that a human could live without all of these parts of the body. My kids asked if there's a chance there will be a miracle. The doctor says, no. Cuz even if she will live, she will die again because she doesn't have these parts in her body. So, the kids turned over to me and asked me, so for what we daven? Hashem want him to daven, not because the davening has Cuz that is the way that the person connects to his master, the creator. Told my kids, if Hashem would want family Cohen to daven, he would take away mother Cohen today. If he want the Levy family, he would take the Levy mother. If he's taking the Kaplan mother, he means he wants Kaplans to daven.
