That is what we have to give. To be so great in Torah, but also so connected to some talmidim with such a warmth. Well, why is that so unusual? >> I feel that in our generation, a bochur could get most of the information from s'farim. And the most part that is important in our generation is the connection. Elul or Shoshanah, we have Litvish s'lichos is 3 hours. After davening, I tell all the bochurim they have to come into my room. I have in my room 400 bags. Every bag has two sodas, a Bamba, a Bamba or Bisli, challah, honey cake, chocolates, candies. And every boy comes in and I speak to him for 2 minutes and I wish him a ksiva v'chasima tova and I give it to him. Takes me hours. I get phone calls from parents. Our son did not call the whole Elul, he's learning. But he called to say the Rosh Yeshiva gave him a Bamba. Cuz the most aggressive bochur that we have in our generation needs love, needs connection. And that is what we have to give.
