It’s EVIL. It’s not just WRONG.

it's evil. It's not just wrong. I I often quote my high school speech [music] teacher. That was a long time ago, but sometimes teachers put [clears throat] an indelible impression on you. And I'll never forget what he drilled into us. Silence [music] is agreement. And that stuck with me. That when you're silent, [music] that you have agreed with whatever was just said. That if you do not challenge that which is untrue, [music] that which is offensive, that which is hurtful, then you in essence have agreed with it. And if there's someone in the room who is bullying [music] someone, and nobody speaks up to stand up for the person who's being bullied, whether it's in the third grade, [music] or whether it's in a political conversation, then everyone in the room assumes that that must be okay. That it's all right to do that, and that what was said was true.
