tati and Mommy you're obviously doing a
wonderful job with your son if he
watches the RAB olowski
show and we have a special treat for you
this episode now if you have if you are
a member of the Jewish community
and you have been living in a cave for
the past 35 years then you probably
never heard of shuu if you were in a
coma during The Six Day War and you just
woke up and you hear the term shuu and
you don't know what we're talking about
that's the only explanation I can give
everyone who is part of the Jewish
Community is familiar with the term shuu
but most people do not understand the
extent of it and what is involved
involved and so we have a very special
episode with us today we have the CEO
director founder a chief cook and bottle
washer of shoua with us gotam and uh and
our good friend of the show you have
probably heard his name many many times
our good friend a vior and he among his
many many many causes one of which is me
that he's always trying to keep me
solvent but besides that he one of his
causes is shuu and we did a parl meeting
together in Lakewood and he said if you
have a chance uh when I'm in ell I want
to bring Raman and be able to you know
make a uh make a a show together to let
people know about it and so vior is with
us and that is my briefest introduction
welcome everybody to the rowski show
thank you very much okay now let's uh
like I say everybody's heard of shuu but
most people have no idea what it means
other than it's doing very important
work so where did this come from who
thought this up what's it doing and why
okay that's it otherwise I don't have
any question thank you rovski for
inviting me for fre and really shuu is
really something that maybe it's
probably the best kept secret because a
lot of people actually don't realize
what it's doing under the surface and on
top of the surface I don't want to tell
you something I read that at one point
the government discovered what they were
doing and tried to defund them because
they didn't it's almost as if they
worked hard to stay under the radar so
nobody would know what they were doing
because they were making as we say here
in Israel a in Israeli society that
nobody knew about so did you pick up
that Jo
liberman saved the day this a very of
knew knew what they're doing yeah and he
stepped in to then it was very
anti-religious was one point when the
labor government came in and they found
out what Shu was doing and they wanted
to close him down that's why I okay
let's let's start from the beginning
let's start from the beginning the
beginning was that the Al from Russia in
1990 was was started and it was very big
there was about a thousand coming every
day W and there was a there was a feel
obviously something has to be done for
the
coming mean among the from people not
among yeah sure sure people but here and
in the US people I heard stories of
Russian imigrant who came across who in
Russia as refus niic kept shabas when
they came to Israel they put them on the
docks and forced them to work on jobis
that's what iuk so B there was a feeling
that something has to be done and there
was a good Jew called Las
from he was the head of he once here
would come AA convention he didn't speak
any English he would speak in Yiddish
but his job in from was to come to
America and speak at the G convention he
heard that that year in 1990 November
1990 Ram was going to make the main
speech on Thursday night so he said I
want to go to Ram's house he went to his
house spoke to him about the Aliyah that
was coming every day a thousand Jews and
something has to be done and RAM was he
had he did he in Vision what Shu was no
no no there was no he just said we got
to do something he
came was the school system in Israel so
he came actually as a
of thinking that maybe those could go
into which which wasn't really feasible
because there was there was no CER
between who knows nothing and but he him
a lot of them are secular so they're not
going to go into no but he came as as
the head of to speak to Ram what can be
done to work with the Russian Jews so
Ram had a whole speech prepared and he
was speaking about Yash there was he was
supposed to speak about Yash in business
was is and Tom he had a whole speech
prepared
and everything was prepared and once he
heard he just got very moved and he says
know this is going to
G and I'm I'm now changing my speech my
speech is going to be about the Russian
Jews coming to Israel and what can be
done so he spoke that was Thursday night
at the AA convention and on shabis he
made a little meeting to see you know
who who's the Asim who would come to the
meeting a lot
of from the convention Mr the late Mr Mr
Sheldon Baron the old big names from
they they met they met in the room and
this is very interesting and he he P was
in the room and then he see outside he
saw somebody walking past the door that
was a Beerman a bman was a young guy at
that time he was he was the in the
government he was on the cach he was had
big positions in the government and he
was a tamid ofam so Ram says hey hey you
you come in also so he came into the
room and then Ram spoke to the there 20
30 people there something has to be done
for the Russian Jews coming who who will
be in charge and you know and then he
pointed to Abe abman and abman became
the chairman of Shu from the first day
but they still didn't know and RAM
didn't know what can we do what should
we do before the Russian is right
something has to be done but what can we
do so what what did they do they sent
out a Mission to Israel aam took three
a if you heard the
[Music]
name he was very active in Russia and
the third one doid singer who was active
in said you go to Israel speak to the
speak to everybody there and find out
what can be done for the Russian Jews so
they came to Israel and the first
mistake they made was they put a big ad
in the hamodia and we are here from
America we want to see what can be done
for the Russian Jews anybody has good
ideas you should come to the plaza so
for two days the door didn't stop going
around to the plaza everybody hears in
the paper that American Jews are coming
to give out hand out funds for projects
so everybody came with their projects
repres said he says in America people
come to give me money and ask me advice
when I go to erel they come to take my
money and give me
advice video so they they actually after
the two days also
met
everybody they came back very mixed up
had such a pile of different proposals
all kind of areas give them jobs give
them Apartments give them there's so
many things you can do for the Russian
Jews that they needed everything so they
came back to RAM and asked Ram you know
we did your we're back
here okay and very was
is he
was he said the Russian Jews they came
for the the children he compared it also
him and
also to to a tree if you have a grown-up
tree you want to move it the roots the
strong roots you can't move it it's it's
already if you want if you want to be
mat plant new seeds plant the seats and
then you'll be he said if you want to
work with the Russian Jews work with the
children the children jobs and all these
other things is very important but the
main reason why the Russian Jews also
came was for the future for the children
so apam made two decision how did apam
know that because one of the things that
they finally found out is that more than
anything the Russians care that the kids
get the highest level of of Education he
knew this he KN he F he
felt
was today is
called the vision of he he foresaw
something that nobody nobody knew this
no no nobody knew that number that's how
we beat them out cuz they weren't giving
them that kind of Ed's eventually going
to tell you that is known for also
secular that was always the fact that
figured that out I think the Russians
were more interested in the secular
education than they were in
sure they
want but they did want they did want
Jewish identity which they didn't have
in Russia so they wanted High level SE
education and basic Jewish Education
soam said go and number one we have to
work with number two it can't be done on
remote control you need to find somebody
who is in Israel you know we can you
they saw from the two days they were
here you know need somebody on the
ground so the the definition of who they
wanted was somebody who lives in Israel
and he not
Israeli so I F that I that you're from
where I'm from Den
she from cop ah yeah I'm the that's
that's that's Danish different
language I'm I'm made in Denmark seven
generation Danish my family old Danish
family and I I moved to Israel I started
and after in so they were looking for
somebody because I was working at the
time with Mr Zev
wson he was at that time making schools
in Russia and in in South America and
his his main guy which I'm sure you knew
in Israel was RAB elzar
rosna remember he lived
in I don't I think this the most
important guy I
know was was my neighbor in hanov I was
living in Denmark moved back to Israel I
was working in K there and working my
father moved back to Israel and then uh
the first week I was in hanov in the I
walk in the on the street in chabas and
I meet a neighbor and I said to my wife
let's say good chabas to a new neighbor
Rabbi rosna and Rabbi rosna after shab
we spoke to him for two minutes after
shus he came to me knocked on the door
he's running volson's operations in
Israel he needs somebody to run his
office so I got straight away when I
came to Israel I got the job to work
with I was a town ofner in ason he was a
big big what were you doing before that
before that I was I was in Denmark I was
working straight from Denmark you came
to work for Wilson yeah yeah good Lord
yeah
yeah it wasn't easy that's a good prop
but but but Mr wson is also a very
special very special personality did
great things for clim how was your
Hebrew at that point it was it was okay
I was I was four years in m so I had an
engineering degree so I spoke I spoke
good Hebrew but still it was to be
thrown into make I went to Russia and
and we made schools in in South America
in France what all this under wson under
RAB Ros I had two years of shim wow
after two years I get a phone call that
this new organization is being founded
called shuu they're looking for somebody
to run it in N soil maybe I would
consider the job I said I'm I'm working
with Mr RAB Ros everything is fine why
do I need this so I went out to RAB
rosna he was my upstairs neighbor I used
to say he's my bus he's on top of me
also in the office and also at home I
went up to him was I said there's this
new organization and they want to work
with the Russian Jews but I'm very happy
by you what should I do said go for it
this is a challenge for you I need you
but this is more important for cl so he
was really my in so so then it started
there are very few people who see beyond
their own uh Nas to be able to look for
CLA yeah he was that's an amazing thing
he was one of them so so then I I
basically started after they decided we
want to make schools for the Russian gay
make shoes schools for
how where do you start what do you do
but you were making schools already in
South America and other places so you
knew a little bit about
this is a different story you'll see
when we started we had we made a lot of
mistakes because we thought in Israel
you can just you know you just open a
school and you register the children it
doesn't work on that I found out with
the when the court came after me that
how you opening a school without
permission and so on but but the first
two three years we T tried to work with
blaz idea maybe get them into maybe try
to get them into existing schools make
extra curriculum for for but tried to
get them in but we realize very quickly
that's not a good they need secular
studies on a very high level and the
Jewish start you need to start from Al
based you can't you can't throw them in
for example when when the Russian came
first to schools so the principal would
say okay here's a takon for the
school sign no no television no
television what what M what are you
talking about they had no no
understanding at all so it took us like
two three years to understand that is
not going to work we have to make our
own school system we we'll be under but
it'll be separate schools shuu schools
for these Russian children and for what
they need and that's when I started who
came up with the name
Shu and what's the name where does the
name come from you would
thinku no
yesu that after four generations the
Jews four generation you'll come back to
he said the Russian Jews cut off for
four
generation came with the name and so we
kid say so after two three years
realized we have to make our own system
but I didn't know how it works so what
happened was this is a funny story I
went to ashalon cuz that we had a school
there
in we wanted yeah wanted to make a
separate school so I said you know what
I'll go down to ashar I'll go to the
municipality I'll ask maybe they have a
building for us I was very new and this
so the kids are on the way had this old
big phones you know like they had in the
olden days and I called up yeah and I
called up somebody
Mota mot I scan there and I said I'm
coming to Ash I said don't don't brother
coming there's a today in ashalon nobody
in Thea but I I knew that you know when
when you decide something you you go
ahead say I'm coming in any case I'm I'm
going to the I came to the and the sh
downstairs says what do you want said I
want to go I want to speak to somebody
in the says there's nobody here
it's you can go in K I go in I walk up
and I walk all the corridor and I every
room is open and nobody's there but I
said to I'll walk till the end walk to
the last room on the left side Alex
cman I look in there and there he sits
so he didn't know there was he he was
was and they were not in this they were
not in the strike he's sitting there I'm
coming with my James Bond and I say you
know that's a sh case for you in
America the kids I come in there and I
say you know I'm representing an
American organization we would like to
make I didn't say schools we would like
to make a program after school program
or something for the Russian Jews here
in Ashan do you have a building for us
so i s you know he would fall down the
chair but actually he said you know what
we have some Caravans and some Park that
you can use for your program so I took
that and took it one step further let
let's start a school if we have already
the building there we'll start a school
and I'll come to Mr Liber man so what
happened was the first of sep you didn't
ask why don't you just ask I I no
because if you have for school the
answer is you know that that I didn't
know the answer is no they would say
like this are you secular we have a
secular school are you we have
are they didn't know nobody would
understand what Shu was before it
started that's how it works in Israel
you and then afterward you ask question
you don't ask questions before so what
happened was you establish facts on the
ground that's how they built the country
yes because the British had a rle that's
why they drive here also if there's any
empty space you can go the British had a
rule that once you put up a roof you
couldn't tear it down so they would come
in the middle of night and they build
just like things with roofs the Bri then
they built the rest of their houses
around it so yeah so that that's so bza
the 1st of September we signed up 108
children for a school in those Caravans
now why why did these kids come well
these kids came because they wanted we
offer them a high level sex education
English Al mass and high level they
didn't think they were going to get it
in public school they don't get it in
public but they knew it knew that they
they saw very quickly where they all
used to from Russia when you when you go
into the
class all the children stand up the
teacher is respectful they come to
Israel and the teacher sitting with with
her legs on on the table they realize
very quickly that this is not the kind
of schools that they used to from from
Russia respect even not Jewish respect
for the teacher quiet during the recess
and so on that that they already saw in
Shu because we worked in Theo they
realized they'll come with us and
they'll be they'll be within this plan
to open a school first of September 180
children we had teachers and principal
and everything and slowly and you had no
license with no license no
nothing how many grades did you open uh
I think it was first or fifth grade
something like that yeah in one Go kid
after a few days other schools calls up
the municipality our children didn't
turn up to school in Israel you have to
there's a you know if if you're not in
school it's criminal true
and I don't know if they still have that
in America do they still have they don't
have schools in America so they were
trying yeah they're trying to find out
what happened to this 180 children who
are not around till they realized that
something popped up under the you know
under the radar and there's a school
there and children are there and she
children want to be there so the first
try to send out letters like e m to the
parents that it's criminal you have to
send your child child back to the school
where he was registered didn't help the
parents did not want to go back they
they were very happy very happy what did
they do to the municipality and this
this story with not the first thing is
take away the Caravan oh would do there
you go take I've been here for 35 years
how do you do that how do you you take a
bulldozzer right and you smash it down
that's what they did yeah oh my gosh
yeah ons with all your stuff inside oh
yeah we still have a picture we have a
picture still where you see a big hole
in the wall and Shalom Al is still on
the wall you see it from the outside
because a big hole where they broke down
the the cavern because they came on Aus
the principal was the late Rabbi glass
he was our principal for many many years
lay down in front of the know to stop to
stop the bulldozer and in the meantime
in America the the wi spread that that
the government is coming to break down
shua school and so Liber man was the was
the was the the honorary chairman of
shuu so he sent out a letter Y was the
the minister of
Education this is the American
organization so this didn't come from
Ashan this came from the government no
it's no it's it's a local it's a local
but when when you have to Counterattack
so they send it to I don't know who was
the Prime Minister they know but they
sent it to the to the minister of
Education you know what what what are
you doing in in as doing
with aam himself was very concerned
about this so concerned that he allowed
under the second day Y in America to get
somebody to call in from and with a
loudspeaker to hear where is it holding
with this what's happening with the
school he was very very concerned and
the M the end of the story is that the T
broke down the building but it didn't
help because we found the
esim and we started the school in esim
with all these children so we found a
rim could you put 120 kids in five
classes yeah okay you yeah you'll be
surprised but uh we did we did and that
school till today has produced thousands
of students and and graduates but it
started with you know it started
with it's called you
start then I realized that you you
better ask when you want to make a
school you better ask you know
permission some but many places we had
to do this way how long did it take you
till you got a building there in as
ashon is a very interesting story
because all our towns all over Israel we
have building that's now given from the
government because the government once
they or Thea once they saw that Shu was
established and we have children and we
are growing then they have to give
you they should give you a building so
what they would do they would give us
old building that's a run rundown
buildings we will fix them up and we we
would make schools there ashalon is
actually the only place where we still
renting the didn't give us till this day
didn't give us a building we're in a
rented building but we're official it's
official school but it's is rented
rented premises and we're working still
on on getting can still they're still
hurt by
the by the way we started but uh but
this this is the way we we started our
own school system realized that you have
to build schools that are fit for these
children and combines very high level SE
education and basic Jewish Education the
Big K is then it started to grow in Ash
in we started to grow all over the
country about 15 years ago in the middle
of the road a little bit more two
mothers came to knock at my door in the
office one American and one is ready
both in trousers and they said you know
can they speak to me so they come in and
the American says I came from America
I'm secular I wanted to send my child to
a Jewish Day School so I sent him to a
normal secular school and I realized
it's not Jewish and it's not a day
school Lama n why are you just for the
Russians why can't you be also for other
that was the American one how how many
years into this is about half the way
this is about more than 15 years about
17 years ago now until then the you hire
Russian speaking teachers no we we we
was the sh that it's better to take
somebody who's a good educator and teach
him Russian they take somebody who
speaks Russian and make him into
educator so what we took we took Israeli
teachers mainly we every school had one
Russian
speaking shal we called it who is the
who is the connection between the home
and the school but basically the teacher
all the children catch very he very
quickly he
so our sh was take a good educator a
devoted educator and teach him a bit of
Russian but not not the other way around
that that's the way that's the way it
worked so so these two mothers and the
Israeli mother was saying there's so
much crime in the schools I'm scared to
send my child to first grade L go why
can't you open your doors for others for
Israelis for for for Americans and then
I realized that we're sitting on a gold
mine we made something that you don't
have in Israel which is called in in
America Jewish Day schools you have a
lot a lot a lot of parents in Israel who
do want a Jewish Education with the
children from school
even has criteria you have to bebat to
to come in for sure secular schools you
don't get any Jewish Education where do
you send your child if you want to try
to get a basic Jewish Education at
Jewish Day School sure and you you're
house is not currently
sh parents
from I heard well I'm just going
interrupt you for a second I heard there
were Russians who didn't even want the
lud KES but they wanted the secular
studies on a high level they were
willing to send their kids to this
school knowing they're going to learn
about Y in spite of the fact that they
don't want fair so in the beginning we
had to cover a little bit the Jewish
part but as time goes went along no we
can no they they want they want and you
know I'm saying especially now with the
with the War I can't even describe
what's happening right now so many
people are looking for understanding
that Jewish identity but why they why
they killing us what's happening the war
you wow in B we have for next year 100
children signed up
for 100 children you know what that
means 100 secular children just
usually 50 60 we like almost double the
number of students because people
realize that could be 100 families not
just one kid so so what I did was after
after these two mothers came to me I
said you know what let's make a survey I
want to understand maybe is this by
chance or is this something that really
can make a revolution in the country so
I went to somebody called Mr Rafi Smith
maybe you heard of him he's the biggest
survey guy in Israel okay okay after SM
I met him in Tel Aviv I sit down with
him and I say I want to make a survey
brother sh schools so he says to me what
do you want the results to
be in my business that M made as
instructor that's that confirms what
I've always thought about
polls I said I was shock studies it the
same way in
my I'm I
said but then I realized and then I said
to no this is this I really want real
survey he go oh my go we never done that
how do you do that
kid he made a survey and I have the
survey still to this day this goes back
many
years almost 50% of the secular Jews in
Israel would go to a school we defined
what shuu gives and ask would you send
your child would you consider or for
sure send your child over 50%
would send that means that you have a
million secular
children the first day first of
September he would fast and he would say
a million children are going to school
and they don't know sh is and you would
fast we have the opportunity sh is much
too small and much I mean it's unknown
as you said because we do want to work
under the because if they would know
what we're doing maybe they would f as
more but instead of close to 6,000
children we should have 60,000 600,000
right now there 6 here yeah yeah that's
right and lastek how did you get
involved how did I get involved you
mentioned Beerman a Beerman is another a
Beerman a cousin of his in Staten Island
who's also very active with SH and he's
with art scroll he's top brass in art
scroll him and ruen finin is the ti is
the head he's the no of Shu and I'm a
tal of Ru and on top of that ru's anle
Eisenberg is very active with shuu also
so between those things I went on a
mission they had a mission and we went
to to see sh's wait how often do you
have missions that come in from America
we have we try to have at least once a
year in anybody who's who's come like
Victor so it's not just for V it's for
anybody who wants to come yeah and see
what CH does yeah yeah but anybody who
comes gets hooked on it and and and
wants to do like see that's what what
I'm here for actually cuz what happened
was I went on this Mission the high
point of the the highlight of the
mission was of course visiting chw
schools and also uh we made a barbecue
for theim which is very very nice and
special but the point is when we went to
visit the you see you know all these
kids come from secular homes and they
love this school they love the morot
they love the the rabbis they they love
the school I went with my wife my wife
is very hard to get her to go places and
to be she's not she's you know like they
say born in Missouri you got to she has
got to be convinced bottom line is you
know there some little girls took her by
the hand instead of walking around with
the with the mission they took around
they want to show her everything SLE day
whatever the point is when you see what
they're doing and the way they're doing
it I I personally I'm a cff person I'm
also for many years I've been on the I
was on the board of Ura which is another
fantastic organization this there an
organization to support in America that
does tremendous C with the Torah mates
thousands of them affecting whole
families whatever but I'm not going to
talk too much about Ur at this point
because he had to talk a little bit
about shuu but the bottom line is in my
mind when I saw what I saw I mean
they're doing the heavy lifting these
kids come from secular homes and they
the interestingly the the man man for
instance of one particular school I went
to and a few others the people who are
running the schools and the principles
and so on they are products of shuu so
they get it they know what it's like to
have to come from a non-observant home
and they and the love they show for
these kids is just fantastic and and
they it's a 24/7 job to them they're
they're
dedicated they're super dedicated in
other words that this not just a job
them they invite the kids for sh they
invite into their houses and they're so
close with with these kids I was just
blown away and to me as someone who K
means a lot to me I thinking to myself
they're doing the heavy lifting I spoke
to
to and and we discussed I said is it
possible and to me I also told this to
somebody it's a game changer if you
could Tak have instead of six or 7,000
children in in their system 70,000 10
times as much you want a revolution one
second one second forget about 70,000
you're saying there's a million kids who
would come I say half half a million
first
500,000 secular kids who would sign up
for a shuu school if it was available
that's that would change Israel in one
generation in 20 years you would change
the whole country that's the but again
you got to have theu said it's possible
but it's a hard very very heavy lift
type of thing but it's definitely
something if someone gave you the money
right now someone gave you a billion
dollars to open up as many school make
Revolution last you could you could
accommodate 500,000 kids you could build
school we have to build the schools
obviously it's a process but last week
especially they keep tearing them down
like anymore last week somebody came to
Israel to visit shuu a person from
America who has the means and he said
give me two days just to go around and
see your schools because he made a lot
of research and you know everybody has
their opinion he says it's good it's
great this one says no don't so he
wanted to see himself so he went around
for two days by the way the second day
he came to school in in P to the high
school of girls we have a tam there who
is a daughter of y s who is y the head
of
is his
daughters audience doesn't know what you
li liberman's Russian secular party okay
so super anti-religious super anti he's
number one guy sends his daughters to
shuu but he told me like a year ago I
have contact with him in theet he told
me as long as my daughter is not telling
me what to do she what she wants to do
she wants to go the religious way no
problem she shouldn't tell me what
happened last week this fell came we
went into her class and she was telling
about the shabbaton she just had with
the class and she was side to saying
about the H that she has under her
cushion and then in the end she says you
know what my father started saying Kush
this is this this is this get who said
I'll take you'll get him in
trouble okay so don't don't tell this to
anybody but but it means that it's
making Revolution and he can make
Revolution even by the most because this
fellow came but what it means is that
everybody who is worried about Israeli
politics and they're talking about
fighting this and fighting that Etc if
if they put all their effort in to
building shuu to bring in 500,000 kids
there would be no more fights we would
have the whole country so this fellow
wrote to me so how come nobody's beating
the drums I'm telling I'm tell why isn't
anyone let me tell you why why is the
rowski show the one breaking the story
yes because this I'm telling you this
should be everywhere everyone should be
talking about this this fellow on the wa
on a flight back from Israel he wrote to
me from the flight a business plan and
the business plan was in
2040 1 million children in shuu he saw
it he but we need there's very big today
in CL Isel and you hear this this this
billionaire buying a chain of hotels
here and buying this why don't they
invest in not just that it can be in the
long run it's not even going to cost
money a a school once it's up and
running tuition and so on is
self-sufficient we have to get people to
invest in the future of this you know
what's going on now with the war and
withn
I'm not talking about I'm talking
changing the state of Israel the entire
country is going to turn upside
down how is it that the secular people
don't know about this okay so we're
keeping it because we don't have enough
suits do they know about your study that
no I don't think know about my study no
because if so the first thing I would do
if I was secular is start adding some
Jewish studies into the public schools
yeah so tell you a story there was AOW
stop all the knives and guns no there
Professor from came to visit our school
a few years ago a sec secular guy
Dr and he went to our school Ines he
wanted to see our English Department but
then he asked can I go into the lies
class I said sure he went in he didn't
want to leave he sat there for an hour
and afterwards he said to us I want to
make your school at there something
called a model school from it takes a
year to do the process but but first he
said to me who's the professor behind
you know I said to him professor p and I
gave him the book of but then then we
had a year of trying to get into this
program and at the end there was a big
meeting with him Dr T two sh principles
all their people from been working with
us to prepare all the paperwork and then
this TW says to one of the secular
ladies present the case why shuu should
be an example school and it's quiet in
the room
again present the case no word we look
at her she's crying she's saying I'm 25
years we try to teach yud goes in here
goes out there here's a system that
succeed let's learn from them and we
wred in and then they asked me what what
is your secret I'm answering your
question very simple if you want to
teach math you don't have to live math
if you want to teach yish kind you have
to live yish our teachers realize that
they are the ones who can change around
the home there's no the parents are not
there they are the second home or the
first home so they are the I always said
the co of our generation is the teachers
and we have so many teachers answering
all question all those teachers let's
get 500,000 let's get jobs instead of
them going to America knocking on doors
everyone's looking for the for this
solution this is the Sol is they do it
with love not with fighting not with
screaming they do it with love listen I
don't care if they do it with drugs if
it works it
works I'm a very pragmatic person if
you're telling me that we can solve all
the problems in Israel the religious
problems the fighting the this the
society everything by by building these
schools and changing everything you said
you asam's Vision Ram said from the
first day the future war in Israel is
going to be fought in the classrooms
right what did he mean I told you that
mitz last week we had MIT for 400
children I said that this meant the
fight that's going on
now from the outside is because we are
not strong enough inside there's no
there's
no if we if if there's of Shu in the
schools that's going to win the war you
see what's happening in America on the
college campuses it's because the left
and the Arabs made Ain to take over this
the universities because when you
control the schools then you can do
anything you want that's said the future
of Cl is going to be decided in the
classrooms exactly like you said if we
want to make a change here we want to
make the RAB just recently I heard him
on
a wine he mentioned that you
know that the T that was read recently
was in a vision told to marry a lady of
ill repute and have children with her
and the whole the whole story over there
but the point is he says CL so we've
tried every kind of Harlot so to speak
to to Mar over the years and then
eventually come back to doesn't leave us
even even then and one of the things he
mentioned paganism he mentioned
Christianity we tried that we tried that
we everything we tried every mishas
included in the latest mishas was
wokeism woke the woke thinking is poison
it's Absolut poison and it affects
Israeli society as much as it does
American society the rest in Europe and
so on and the only way to fight that
kind of cultural Decay is
with presenting the beauty of yish we
have we have good there is what to sell
here and I keep saying sell with love in
other words they don't bang you over the
head and say going to go to Gim if you
don't keep the Mitzvah and whatever
these kids they t g in what shabas is
and what Kash what being a Jew is and as
was mentioned earlier there many kids
who don't know what is is in this
country they don't know the k finish the
sentence in English they have an
expression if you build a better mous
trap they'll beat a path to your door so
you have the better math when's the next
mission when are people coming the next
mission probably beginning of the new
school year it's ready the school year
is finishing now I'm going now I'm on
the way now to we have a Yun today
Conference of all our principles and the
the subject is how to give Gish we have
brought in somebody from South Africa
he's Landing this morning
you know the name a big there but he's
big in how to teach to the young
Generations so we I'm running now to the
to the conference of our principles and
uh can I interrupt you you don't have to
wait for a mission I spoken to a be and
the others and yourself also anybody who
can hear me I don't know which camera
I'm looking at but anyway if when and if
you come to
Israel we can it can be arranged for you
to visit a shua school there shua
schools from the from All the Way North
all the way south in the middle all over
the place there shua
schools they can first of all we have
next week on Tu you ready to have 25
people call you right now and say I want
to come first all call El to do person
number 052 and is 651 8855 slowly
they're taking out their pens there's
10,000 people now put up on the screen
10 to 20,000 people taking out their pen
call me or Whatsapp me 052 651 885 5 go
on the shuu site shuu usa.org and
contact us and we we are ready we ready
to we're ready to roll as I said you
know as VI said we don't have to wait
for anything people come invest in the
future of of kis are you turning kids
away because you don't yeah sure sure
sure we
are yeah that's like the stories they
used to tell about uh rjj when it was
the only the only Jewish school in New
York and they had a waiting list of a
thousand kids to to get in and a mother
took her kid and sat on the steps say
they can't go to school at least he
should see what kids he learn and you
should look like
you who the father of zberg if you heard
of him he's a big M wish zberg is from
the of Shu whenever he comes to shua
school and he sees a sha child he makes
a shame
he says this is not less of a of a joy
than a new fruit and
pass so there's so many more fruits
waiting there to S
and that low-lying fruit you know pick
the pick the the easy fruit this is
unbelievable so we have an opportunity I
I again I have I have an audience they
are fiercely dedicated it was to say
but uh um but we need to get this
message out to everybody I mean this
this has to become a if you care about
Israel if you care about Kira if you
care about clel you care about children
you care about Russians you care about
Israelis you care about Americans then
this is the address future so next
Tuesday bruty who's together with frin
it's going to be in M next Tuesday
evening this coming out Monday so it's
going to be tomorrow tomorrow
anybody who is in m in the home of Mr
bent
philipson I think people know about him
they can look it up in his home tomorrow
evening will be R Elli bruty and he'll
be speaking on behalf of shuu and I hope
to be there myself if I can get a ticket
but uh he'll be there he just landed
yeah yeah just came back yeah going back
again wow we'll write your biography
Perpetual jet lag I I write I write I
write the daily diary because the amount
of nissing that goes on on a daily basis
if you don't write it down you're not
going to be a barbecue in R Kravitz's
house at some point or another in
Lakewood uh I was trying to get together
I'm still trying to get together a group
of the
nowadays there are a lot of upand
cominging young fellows young in my
Minds anybody under
50 um that uh that they're not already
signed up for another cause right so the
point right well not take away from
anything although I do believe you got
to diversify your portfolio yes ofed
also I've said that many times when I
raised money for I was I am involved
with the B stat Island so we handle
situations stand on a lot of times but I
tell people you got to have a a
portfolio of sedoka different types of
things so my point is in ER is kir is
this is a very good thing for someone to
have in their portfolio of of
sedus that's uh yeah cuz I know you also
involved in various political things
here in there well trying to fight
certain
sociales I came to the conclusion the
way to fight so social is to support
stul no not with fighting not with
screaming and not with
whatever just a little slowly but surely
you know every the beauty of this is
every one of these
children they're not going to
necessarily become you know pich Ras or
you know big Ritson or whatever it is
the bottom line is they're going to have
an appreciation for yish and they're
going to love their fellow Jews and
they're not going to hate or hate Keep
It With Or Hate You know the other way
around they many of them will become
fulled sh so to speak and some of them
will not but the point is they'll have
an appreciation of what being a Jew is
all about and they'll have some kind of
an understanding of what yadus is
especially right now because like you
know uh the CEO of the Reel yowu show if
I can say that you know um he uh he had
was working on an organization that was
just making titas for soldiers all these
soldiers all they want is a pair of
titas they feel like that that what they
saw on on sh is that that will give them
a special thing so right now if the
spaces were open and available they
would they would send the children to
they would do it in a second okay so
we're going to put up on the screen if
you want to become a
partner in shuu and as a always points
out when we say a partner we don't just
mean to write a check we also mean to
write a check it doesn't have to be
write a check you can do it online you
know it could be credit card we don't
care but but besides that to become
involved because we have to get this
word out there that people know about
what shuu is doing I mean when you hear
this firsthand and you understand the
potential that it were holding in our
hands and we don't take advantage of it
it's a a lost opportunity that will take
a very long time to come back who is it
the Bas Isel who said in
1948 the the gates of of uh of G opened
and only the secular Israelis took
advantage of it the from didn't take
advantage of it says now the doors of
chuva opening why aren't we taking
advantage of it so if this opportunity
is here right now we got to make sure
and try to take advantage of it and
strike while the uh iron is hot if I can
make a comment I was it was suggested
and not mention money but I what can I
tell I'm a businessman bottom line the
bottom line is to dedicate a classroom
for like
$25,000 coming bring your kid here for B
Mitzvah rment you can afford to bring
the whole family here for B Mitzvah and
the hotels cost a fortune everything
like that $25,000 do a classroom I don't
think it's you know and and this this
young man will get a very very nice
lesson and what it is to help other kids
who are not as fortunate as him so could
do that and or even just to support one
kid it's $1,200 it's not you know and
you know all these stories about how
somebody has shown that they get credit
for all kinds of mites they did I say I
never did those things no you gave money
to shuu there was a kid who was not at
all observant didn't know anything and
became a sham all his MIT because of you
so you're getting credit for all that I
know it sounds like a you know ver but
it's true yes it really is true so my
point is it's it's you really it's a
bargain I'm a businessman it's it's you
get a they do they're doing the heavy
lifting they have the model and on our
end if we could just if we're able to
write a check it's it's a very good
thing and for those of you who not in a
financial situation to do that if you're
watching the rowski show it means that
you're an intelligent and talented
individual which means that you can give
from your time and your effort to be
able to make programming and to spread
the word to get that done so please even
if you're not in a position to to you
know help if you're in the position to
help financially please you know but if
you're not contact shuu and say what can
I do to help how can I help to become an
ambassador for shuu to be able to change
around the world well so if you can get
together a group of 15 20 of your
friends you want to make you com
together anyway for the spend the summer
whatever it is I I know we can arrange a
you know a mission for you to get 25 30
young
couples you're going to come on the
mission also I'm I'd be delighted I'd be
delighted um
unfortunately G man is a Gand but he has
the another thing he has to actually
work say
we're sitting here talking about it so
uh um that's it for this episode if you
want to find out more about the show you
can go to my website rowski dcom you can
sponsor an episode sponsor a question
