This is David Olowski with our question and answer series. I'm moving to Florida and have a silly question. How do I wash keep wool tits? I assume what he means keep is how do I keep them clean without them, you know, turning. Now I have to tell you the truth. This is not a Florida question specifically. Every person who wears titsus has to go through this process because since it is close to your skin and wool tends to make you sweat and it's kind of hot so they get dirty. So what would be the easiest method? Take them and toss them in the washing machine. However, then you will find that the strings that are hanging at the bottom arises will start to unravel and come across. So, what can you do? Well, there are a few options available. My friend hammer. Yeah. Z Labra who was nifa just about a year ago. I I went to him for uh for a shabas in the summer and uh and two weeks later he was nifa. I I I I cherish the fact that I had that that to be able to spend that time with him. But we're friends going back uh 40 years. But um he says I don't even try. I just wear them until they're disgusting and then I put them in the genea. [laughter] So, okay. Another method is to take a plastic bag, but one that's strong enough, and put the titus inside of it and put a thick rubber band around it and then throw it in the washing machine. What my wife does is she washes them by hand, being careful to make sure that the titus don't get dirty. Obviously, use some sort of a cleaner. Um, I don't know what the best thing is to use, but I know in America, uh, there is a product called Woolite. Uh, only because I know their commercials. You'll look better in a sweater cleaned with Woolite. Woollight makes your sweater look alive. And they had like a sweater just like walking by itself. And I was like, so that stuck with me loathe these 60 years. [laughter] So I guess if you use a little woolite, it's good for keeping your wool clean. So however you choose to do it, what you should not do is continue wearing them when they are because that is a mitzvah. This is Davidski without question and
