Thank you very much. That everybody is together is a great support. It is something that is a very very special in you and especially on Tisha B'Av when we try as much as possible for all of us to be by a good. I want to thank Robbie because Robbie is a shame the bar. He is somebody who keeps the entire world afloat. I want to tell you I don't know of anybody that continues day and night only one idea he has in mind the Torah la'diira to keep Torah going. May continue his brilliant ideas and his great work. I would also I like to just to congratulate Chazak on the thousands of children that they have placed into beautiful Yeshivot from public school. And there are a couple of people here by walking number one Meberosh and everybody all the Chazak staff for what they did and especially now this year to reach such a goal to have thousands of people it's a nice it's an it's a nice to flat it's a miracle. How do you take a kid in public school convert them get the parents to agree have the child be interested able to facilitate that change and to make it smooth. It is something it's just amazing. There is no mitzvah get all of me too. There is no mitzvah in the entire world that is greater than to be mikarev a Jew. Mikarev a Jew, you have schud olam haba. I would just like to congratulate Chazak on this milestone. They should continue. It is worth everything in the world what they're doing. And they should have all the resources that they need. They should have everything that they need. Okay. We're going to go quick. There is a beautiful midrash, midrash Eicha. Bisha'a achar beis hamikdash, at the time when Hashem destroyed the beis hamikdash, bo Avraham Avinu. Avraham Avinu was seen walking in the beis hamikdash. Amazing. It's time of korban beis hamikdash. Everybody cleared out. Avraham Avinu is walking in the beis hamikdash. Impossible for us to understand. Why? Avraham Avinu wanted to ask Hashem ulayi yochos amani ve'avyon ulayi yerachem. Hashem, maybe have mercy. Even though it's after the fact, even though it's time for korban beis hamikdash, it's going to be destroyed. Avraham Avinu said, "Wait a minute. Zechor li. Remember me. Remember what I did. I fought in the house. There was avodah zara. His father, he broke down the idols. I fought for it. I fought for all the times that Hashem said that there's going to be a battle. Lema'an Hashem, I fought. Hashem said, "Take your son, va'aleihu sham l'olah. Make him a sacrifice." Avraham Avinu said, "Hineni. I'm going to do it." And he took Yitzchak. He made him for a korban. Who could do it? Their own son. To be able to take him for a sacrifice. So, Avraham Avinu says, "Hashem, for all that I did, for all that I fought, for all the mesirat nefesh, ulaya chos amani ve'evyon, ulaya rachem. Forgive them. Have mercy. Zechor li zot verachem al banai. Didn't work. With all that Avraham Avinu did, Hashem didn't bring the rachamim. Yitzchak came along. Yitzchak said, "Look what happened to me. Look at all the nisyonot I had in life. Look at what Yitzchak said. When it came time and Hashem said, 'Take your life.' Hashem said, 'It is the time right now that you have to offer yourself for a korban.' What did Yitzchak do? He went willingly. He knew what was going to be. He said, "Hashem, I know it's happening." Avraham Avinu, he said to him, "Ah, hinei ha'esh ve'eitzim, va'aye haseh la'olah?" Ah. "Where's the seh that we're supposed to be sacrificing?" He knew it was him. Yet, he didn't stop. He ran. Vayashkem Avraham baboker. Avraham Avinu, he ran. He was ready. Yitzchak was ready. He put poshet tzavaro. He put his neck on the line, and he said, "Hashem, take me." And in fact, more than that, he said, "Hashem, I'm afraid that maybe I'm going to flinch. I'm afraid that I might move. Tie the ropes tighter to make sure that I don't move." Yitzchak said, "Zechor li zot. Can you remember this for me, Hashem? Ulaya chos amani ve'evyon, could you forgive them? Look what they went through. No. No rahamim. It didn't happen. Yaakov Avinu all the tsargid banim that he had, all the trouble, all that he went through, all that he endured. In fact, Yaakov Avinu just with Esau, we can imagine what he went through. Ki sarita Melochim ve'im anashim va'tuchal. Yaakov Avinu He went through a tremendous amount. Bikesh Yaakov lashev b'shalva. Yaakov Avinu just said, "Give me a minute. A minute. Rest. Peace. Tranquility. I don't want more than that. Nothing. Give me a minute." Bikesh Yaakov lashev b'shalva. He didn't ask for didn't ask for a billion dollars. He didn't ask for anything whoa great. He didn't ask for something what Bikesh Yaakov lashev b'shalva. Hashem, give me a few minutes. Peace and tranquility. Didn't happen. Finally, zechor li. Yaakov Avinu said, "Hashem, just give me the minute because of what I did. Give rahamim. Let Bnei Yisrael have the Beis Hamikdash. It's not yet destroyed. Let it happen. Let them come back. Let them do teshuvah." Didn't work. Finally, Moshe Rabbeinu came along. Ah, Moshe Rabbeinu, that's a big one. Moshe Rabbeinu said, "Borei Olam, was I not a ro'eh ne'eman? Was I not a faithful shepherd for 40 years? Did I not go through all the trials and tribulations, Bil'am, Bilak, Balak, all the times I was accused, Mitonim, they complain? Look what Moshe Rabbeinu went through. It's unimaginable that one man should have to go through such tzaros, such nisyonos. Moshe Abeino was at the end. He said, "Hashem, zachoreini zos. Remember me." >> [snorts] >> No. The rachmanus did not come. Finally, who jumped in? Rachel Imeinu. Rachel Imeinu, Mama Rachel. What did she say? I was sovel. Look what I did. What happened with me? I was able to be sovel. Big mouth chesed im Avelo Kineiti Avelo Tzeiteek lecherpa. I didn't do anything. I was afraid that my sister would suffer shame. So, what did I do? I was quiet. I didn't say it. I gave over the simanim. I gave over everything to her. I didn't ever do anything for my own good. In fact, I put myself, I compromised myself. Finally, she said, "Hashem, look what I did. Could you do the same?" As soon as she said it, Miyad niska gulu rachamav shel Hakadosh Baruchu, Hashem had mercy. Bishvilech Rachel, for you, ani machzir es Yisrael im choman. I am going to replace you. I am going to make sure that we're going to be able to be satisfied, and you will, once again, Rachel Imeinu, was able to save the day. I will make sure that you're back. I will make sure that Klal Yisrael is strong. And this is something amazing. Machzir es Yisrael im choman. They were supposed to be God. No, I shall replace them. You go right back where you're supposed to. As we know what it says, Kol b'ramah nishma. Look what Rachel Imenu said, the voice is heard on high. The bitter weeping. Hashem said, yesh tikvah l'acharischa. There is hope. There is a lot of hope. There is renewed inspiration. There is new chizuk. There is something that is going to happen that is unbelievable. And finally, the key words are v'shavu banim l'gvulam. That the world is going to be restored. That Hashem says your children are going to return to their boundaries. This is amazing. If you think about it, nobody could be matzliach. Not Avraham, not Yitzchak, not Yosef, not Yaakov. Nobody. Moshe Rabbeinu couldn't be. HOW WAS IT THAT RACHEL Imenu was able to do the job? What swayed it? Was Rachel Imenu bigger than Avraham Avinu? Bigger than Yitzchak? Okay, NOT YITZCHAK. OKAY, NOT YITZCHAK is the greatest. There isn't anything that is greater. There isn't anything that could be more powerful. To give a life, to give a life up, and for a father to be maskim to give a life, and for a son to say tie the ropes tighter. What could be bigger than that? Hakravah is is unusual. There is absolutely nothing in this world that could be bigger than hakravah, than such a sacrifice. So, how could it be? Reb Moshe Chebroni, Rosh Yeshiva of Slabodka Chebron, says the following. Why was it greater? Because of one thing. To be makri the korban, to sacrifice, had pa'ami. One time. One sacrifice, and it's done. Abraham Avinu, one sacrifice, and it's done. However, Rachel Imeinu, if she is going to give over the simanim, it means a life. It's years that result in a continuum. It's continuing. Over the years, Leah gave birth to Reuven, Shimon, Levi, Yehuda. Rachel Imeinu, she was still alone. Rachel Imeinu, nothing happened. She was willing to go through it. It wasn't a one day, it wasn't a one hour, it wasn't a one week. It was a forever. Whenever a person can do something that is mesirat nefesh like that, that will be the difference in her life, then the individual realizes this is not a one day thing. This is a lifetime. Anybody that has the power to be moser nefesh, that means to take the step to really make a difference. Make a difference. I really don't want to do this, but I'm going to do it. I don't want to do the mitzvah, it's too hard, it's difficult. I can do everything else, 612 I can do. But the 613, that one, that one that's hard, okay, I'm sure I'm going to let me go, you know, I'm going to pass the test anyhow, you know, rove. A lot of dinim on rove, right? It's good. I say, yeah, I'm on I'm great, I'm good. No. How about the one aveira? >> Who? >> One aveira. And the person says, "Look, everything is out I'm really good. I don't I do tikkun chatzos every night at 1:00 in the morning. I promise you I'm I'm like a But that one aveira What does Hashem say? Hashem says, "You do the job of the one thing that's impossible, of the one thing that is a life changer, of the one thing that is so hard that a person will have to turn themselves around. When a person is able to do that, then they can merit every bracha in the entire world." And I'll end like this because we have a big tzaddik that is coming on and I have to tell you Rabbi Zeidouni, when it comes to the really great tzaddikim that are modest, that are humble, it's him. What he does, I I could say world. The yeshiva that he runs, I'll be honest with you, I don't know if there's a yeshiva in the world that does what he does and does it so beautifully. To finish, there was a There was a time in the history very difficult and it was during the Holocaust. There was a Jew, a young man, and the young man came home one day and he said, "You know what? It's too difficult where the work camps and the Nazis were going all the time. I just have a heter, Mommy." Heter? I got a dispensation. I'm going to eat basar sus, the meat of a horse. A rav was matir to eat basar sus, the meat of a horse. Treif. I saw but the rav said, "Not normal situation. I'm allowed." Anyhow, the mother said, "I don't know what you're talking about. Basar sus? Not in my kitchen. If you want, go to the Devar Avraham, the great tzaddik. If he will be posek halacha and he will tell you that you can eat the basar sus, I'll eat it. I'll eat it myself. I'll prepare it for you." The young man went to the great Devar Avraham. Devar Avraham said, "Where did you learn?" "I learned in Vilkomir, one of the famous yeshivot, Vilkomir." "What is your name?" "My name is Gibraltar, one of the great great names, great lineage." The Devar Avraham said, "I am sorry. You learned in Vilkomir, your name is Gibraltar. I don't give you any heter. Mesirat nefesh is what you need. You do not eat from the basar sus. You don't eat any of that. I promise you with mesirat nefesh, if you will do this, if you will be mitgaber, if you will be a lion and able to do it, you will survive. You will survive the Nazis. You will live." He goes home. He tells his mama. He went without the food. He starved and starved and starved and worked unbelievably hard. Every member of his family survived. The Devar Avraham said, "Sometimes mitzvot and Torah is not enough. You need mesiras nefesh. Chazak u'baruch."
