someone was holding on to but no one was doing anything with it so it just goes to prove that sometimes things that are out there and we think okay this is already spoken for it's actually not and maybe her love language is time that she has my time or talking as a lovely she wants it all to speak things out so here I am giving gifts gifts kids and stop doing anything because that's not her love language when you want to love somebody you have to you you shouldn't look at what your love language is we have to figure out what their love languages you get it that's called the love language Hashem love language is hollow huh and a shuns love languages Shabbos Hashem says I have a love language there is a way that you can love me there's a way that you can connect to me that's called Chavez and that leads us to point number two and I've said this before but if you haven't heard it or even if you have it cuts deep Judaism is a relationship and not a religion it is called a called a date so here we're dating and it's rude to pick up your phone and live it over there right you're supposed to be focusing on the person or at my house or in my office and I'm on my computer I'm doing work and then she comes in to speak with me and I'm responding but I'm still doing my work stare and get the screen says she'll stop and she'll say do me a favor I mean I came to speak with you don't make me compete with this screen close it I came to discuss something with you when I leave turn it back on make some sense right what is that that's of course Shabbos it's exactly what Shabbos is it's a sham saying I know how busy you are all week I know what midterms and finals are bills and mortgages insurance and deadlines I know what all these things are you know how I know cuz i'm a sham and I made them all but if once a week you and I don't have our special time our relationship is gonna die so once a week put away your phone put away your hammer close the computer put away your homework once a week get ready go take a shower or go get dressed so we take a shower and we get dressed beautifully and then we come and we put a white tablecloth on and we light some candles and weep some wine and you know what it looks like it looks like a date Shabbos is built exactly like a date we get dressed we wash up we have the China dishes we like candles we pour wine we just another thing Hashem says the key to my relationship with you is Shabbos so that's that's point number two point number three is something that I think doesn't get discussed often enough when you ask somebody if you had one wish for the world what would it be many would say world peace world peace and you know we don't just want world peace but we also want peace amongst ourselves our brothers and our sisters we want peace from anti-semitism peace from the world hating Israel we want peace it's elusive it's almost like we are hard-wired to fight you put us in a room and something somebody put us in the elevator you know the elevator jams forget about it you got four or five or six people in the elevator and you're stuck it's terrible we have a hard time with peace that's why the great don't get caught in a situation where the house is all done now we don't appreciate that today we don't appreciate it because today we flick on the lights and they stay on we don't care about the electricity right but it used to be it was a big deal so we lit candles in the home we let them know because that was Shalom bias there shouldn't be anger in the house this is a very beautiful story
