oh hi there
rabbi be here with Devorah the bee hides
Evora well we're making Shana Tova cards
and I'm cutting out an apple for my
Shana Tova card because we use apples on
Rosh Hashanah and devorah what do we do
apples in I knew you knew that one
because honey comes from these and
devorah is a bee
okay there's an apple how does that
apple look Thanks all right and I have
some other ones ready-made already I
have some red apples and some yellow
apples and some bumblebees see these
little bumblebees just for you you know
cuz I know all your friends and family
are watching and I think today we'll
make our Shana Tova card with a yellow
piece of paper and I think I'll fold the
yellow paper in half just like you know
a birthday card or a greeting card that
you get from somebody you know your
birthday get a birthday card that says
happy birthday inside to you so I'm
gonna make a Shana Tova card to my very
special friend and on the very front I
think we should start how about with a
red apple what does that sound great I
like to use double-sided tape because
it's thickened good and you can stick it
on and it looks like the pictures
floating which is very special and how
about a yellow one on top of the red one
and then how about a red one on top of
the yellow one yeah that's a fun idea do
some sticker off okeydoke and we'll put
the yellow or maybe a red with red on
top of yellow because it's a yellow card
so we'll do that here we go
okay there we go our apples are on the
card how does that look okay what should
we do next when you think the shofar the
shofar is yellow so it's gonna be hard
to see how about I put it on top of some
maybe the red apples
you some glue stick for that they like a
shofar on an apple okay and then I think
we should add some bees what do you
think about that Devorah I knew you'd
like that idea
okay we'll put a little bumblebee how
about flying around apples because I
know the bees like to eat things that
are sweet just like the honey that you
guys make how about we do
maybe I'll just three bees on light
challenge over card one two three Dobies
maybe one in the bottom there we go
there now Mike Hart is all decorated how
does that look yeah now I think we
should write on something maybe you
should write
how about Shanah Tovah - somebody didn't
use purple for the top I'll write it in
hebrew shin nun
hey tenth love vets and hey Shana Tova
there we go yeah very fun and then on
the inside I always like to write a
message to somebody I think I'll use
blue and I'll write how about to my very
good friend - Devora the B Devaraj
should I write a card for you all right
- Devora happy and sweet
new year from me a bi be there we go -
Devora have the ensuite new year from me
rabbi B and that card is for you Devorah
Shana Tova Omid took I'll put it right
there next to you so you can look at it
and of course you boys and girls can
make your own Hashanah Tova card at home
with mommy and daddy's help you know you
can ask your mommy and daddy to prepare
some shapes for you maybe apples or
pomegranates or shofars
and then you can stick them on the card
yourself and then give it to a friend or
a grandma or grandpa well have fun
making cards for Rosh Hashanah Shanah
Tovah boom itsuka
