oh hi there Rabbi be here you know I was
just learning some Kish but I was
reading a little bit of a sad story in
the Kish all about the great mobble the
great
flood and I think we're having a great
flood outside I just heard a very loud
Bowl of lightning and some very loud
thunder oh oh my goodness d'vorah
d'vorah what what is it d'vorah what
happened oh my goodness d'vorah you
d'vorah was very scared by the
sound oh yes oh my goodness I just heard
the Thunder again oh my goodness yes
d'vorah it is very scary to hear loud
sounds outside mhm mm you know I was
also reading some stories here in the
Kish and they also made me a little bit
scared too sometimes we read things that
make us scared and sometimes we hear
things that make us feel scared yeah but
d'vorah I want you to always remember
anytime you're feeling scared you can
always talk to me and anytime you're
feeling scared you can always talk to a
grown-up that you trust your mother your
father a big brother or sister a grandma
a grandpa a teacher anyone you know that
you're close to and loves you you can
speak to them anytime you're feeling
scared if you hear a scary sound or if
you read a scary story or you hear some
scary news always remember you can talk
to your grown-up about anything and they
will always listen to you and I'm very
sure they will always try anything they
can to keep you safe in any scary time
and d'vorah I feel the same way for you
if you ever feel scared you can always
talk to me about what's making you
scared and I'll always listen and I'll
always try my best to keep you safe and
always protected in a scary time yeah
you know there are some things I do when
I'm feeling frightened or scared you
know sometimes I practice a little bit
of
breathing that's right just breathing in
and breathing out you know before
there's something I learned called Pizza
breathing you pretend that you're
holding some
pizza and you pretend that you're
smelling in the
pizza and then you're blowing on the
pizza to keep it cold and not too
[Music]
hot yeah that makes me feel calm in a
scary time another thing I like to do is
think of good happy thoughts so if
something is making me feel scared or
sad think about something that makes me
feel happy and
glad oh my that sure makes me feel happy
or glad every time I'm in ER Isel I
always feel so happy and glad that's
right or another thing you could do is
draw or color a picture sometimes it
helps to draw or color the picture the
way that you feel like if you're feeling
scared maybe use some black crayon or
some dark colors or you could color a
happy picture to make you feel better
any way would work as long as you're
feeling your feelings and you know that
your feelings are okay to feel that's
right and one very important thing I
always do when I'm feeling frightened or
scared when I hear a scary sound or I
read a scary story or I hear something
scary I always remember that Hashem is
with me and I always try to talk to
Hashem because Hashem is always
listening that's right anytime you're
feeling sad or scared just remember
Hashem is always with you as we say inim
Hashem Hashem is here do not
fear no matter what you hear or what you
see just remember these words say with

sound remember Hashem is always around

hasem well we know Hashem always hears
us and is always close by but if you're
ever feeling afraid or scared those are
okay feelings to to have and you can
always talk to someone you trust a
grownup or a teacher or a good friend
and share with them how you're feeling
and they'll always be there to help you
and protect you as much as they can
during a scary time Shalom everybody and
I hope you always have happy news and
good
