Thank you all for coming and thank you
Rabbi for as usual opening your and
hosting us.
So thank you so much beautiful
community. This is already what third or
fourth time?
>> Third time right? Third
>> third time Hashem. So third time is a
charm. Mhm. So, we're going to have a
very very uh interesting lecture tonight
with
uh we're going to make it short and to
the point.
So we thought of many different things
what we're going to talk about
but
I felt that it would be appropriate
to talk a little bit about
moneym
I get hundreds if not thousands of
messages every day I don't process the
messages I can't even process so many
messages but from all social media and
WhatsApp and emails and so much going on
that hundreds of messages funnel into my
system every day
and I would say that a large amount of
them is people seeking for guidance and
some type of help because they're having
struggle with their parnasa with making
ends meet making money. It seems like
the majority of people around the world
that's something that bothers them 24/7.
[clears throat]
Now we have to look a little bit deep
into the concept about parnasa because
when you really think about it
we kind of live to make money to support
ourselves. That's the majority the most
people you stop living you stop working
how you going to live how you going to
pay rent how you going to get food the
system is made in such of a way that
whether you want it or not you're going
to have to work.
Now, if you are already very advanced
and you own your own property and you
farm your own food and that's how you uh
eat and feed your family and you somehow
got to a point that you own the land,
you have everything all set up, you
still need to work the land unless you
have some workers doing that. But either
way you're looking at it, it seems like
Hashem created a system that most of our
life we have to be occupied with how we
taking care of ourselves, which is kind
of a doesn't make sense because Hashem
wants us to be close to him. He wants us
to pray and learn and practice the Torah
and the mitzvah. But if all day long I'm
busy with how am I making money, then
where exactly do I have time to apply my
life in the Torah? So why would Hashem
do such a thing? It doesn't make even
sense. Hashem should give me all the
time in the world so I can wake up in
the morning and pray long two hours,
three hours, no pressure, learn after
that two, three hours Torah, go home,
eat something, go back and learn. I
mean, you would think that Hashem would
plan a system that I can just serve him
in the best way possible.
So originally that was the plan. By the
way, the original plan was that was
supposed to be in Grenade and then not
worry about anything.
Eat from whatever you want. Whatever I
gave you here, you can eat.
And the fruit in the Ganed in I don't
know if to call the Garden of Eden, but
Ganeden,
the fruit there is not what you buy here
in Costco that tastes like plastic.
Every piece of fruit was real fruit from
Ganedan.
All he had to do is just
do a few acts [snorts] and you are free
to to serve Hashem.
We know the story. Don't have to repeat
the story.
Adam Kavas sinned. We're not coming and
pointing fingers at this point. We're
just trying to make a to understand
what's going on. Adam and Kavasin
happened to be that the serpent also
joined forces here. So, Hashem curses
everyone that is participating in the
sin. The serpent gets 10 curses. Kava
gets 10 curses.
Gets 10 curses. And the land also gets
10 curses. Total of 39 kilot
all written in the Torah. That's not
something that you need to look in the
commentary or in books of Cababala. It's
all listed in the Torah.
And one of the curses that Adaman got is
that you're going to have to work sweat
in order to earn money.
And you're familiar with many of the
other curses.
Going to be sorrow for you to carry a
baby. nine months and then go into
labor.
You know when Msiah is going to come, a
woman will be pregnant for 9 minutes,
>> no pain,
>> no pain, no everything will be great.
So we do understand that after the sin
of which everybody who was involved here
got punished
and one of the curses that got is
the curse so to say of your
you had it going on good you messed it
up now you're going to have to work so
we can already put the the first stop is
we know where it started from.
But that still doesn't explain to me
why, who, when, and what. I always asked
why is it so hard for every individual
to do to make money? Why is it not easy?
Why is it have to come with a lot of
struggles? Now again, you can blame it
on big things such as politics,
uh maybe a war, a president that does
certain things. I mean these are this is
fake excuses. We're not looking to base
this class on uh what's going on in a
country that I live in. If the country
is doing good, the country is not doing
good and that is right now not our topic
because one can say listen you know the
economy is not do good so right now I'm
not making money.
That's not the topic we're going to
focus on. We want to more pinpoint
a why do I need to work for my
sustenance? What's the system behind it?
Because I understand from my
understanding, Hashem should give us all
the needs that we h that we need to just
give it to us so we can serve him.
I can already answer that that that's
going to happen when Mashiach comes. We
had it when Adamish was created. Since
Adam and his wife sinned, then we lost
it. Till Mashiach will come. But the
good news is when Mashia is going to
come, Hashem is going to set up the
system that you have 24 hours a day free
to serve Hashem. You don't have
you don't have bothering of your of your
how to make money.
And you know what? A lot of people might
say, I have no issues with money. I'm
making good parnasai. I'm sometimes
better, sometimes less. But you know,
I'm not in a level of poverty.
But even to those individuals, the
parnas doesn't come easy necessarily.
Sometimes you have to put 18 hours a day
of work. Why don't you do it in three
hours? Besides the fact not everybody's
equal and not everybody has to share the
same challenges. Although with panas,
everybody shares it.
say that even if you're lucky and you're
good and you're making good money then
you'll have a lot of problem you're
going to have a lot of worries because
when you have a lot of money money comes
with a lot of worries especially if you
own properties and many other things
like that I have a a friend who had a
very good business transaction he sold
his company that he built for whatever
40 years and he sold it for like 480
million shekels
you know you get such an amount
overnight
and of course with all sorts of benefits
and that. So all day long he's worried
what are you going to do with the money?
What where am I going to put the money?
Where am I going to invest the money?
What should I invest it here? Should I
invest it in Bitcoin? Should I invest
it? Every time every two days I get a
phone call. What should I do with my
money? I told them I'm a rabbi. I'm not
an accountant. Why you keep calling me?
No, you you see things. That's what you
see things. I don't see anything. I see
a fool with a lot of money. That's what
I see.
>> Yeah, that's what I told him. put the
money aside and go and learn Torah. But
even when sometimes you see a person
gets a lot of money, then the kadu will
take care of it that the person will be
challenged with a lot of worries and a
lot of
as ourim say in the Mishna. So a we want
to understand what's behind the system
and b practically what do I need to do?
That's the purpose of our class and
bantem we should do it straight into the
point and all of you are going to leave
tonight with a recipe how tomorrow
you're making a lot of money and uh and
uh I would recommend to also write the
headlines of what I'm talking about
because a lot of it will just be
practical things
before we start it's very important to
understand the concept that on rashes
shah each and everyone one of us and it
doesn't matter if you are a Jew or
non-Jew it's included everybody in the
world because the master of the universe
blesses the entire world with everything
that it's going to need for the next
coming year
on Shana the godly light that sustained
and created the world for the last year
goes back to its source and a new light
comes down to the world so we have 48
hours that The world is kind of in
limbo.
>> There's no there's no real kayut to the
world. There's no life force to the
world yet. The world is kind of on hold.
Everything is being judged from human
beings to inanimates. Everything
and everything is decided for that year.
What's going to happen? How we read in
the text when we pray?
Who's going to be poor? Who's going to
be rich?
Who's going to live? Who's going to die?
Everything is decided on Shah including
your partners. How much money you're
going to make, how hard you're going to
have to work for that.
Everything is decided even beyond the
money. What is decided is also how much
challenges you're going to have that
year and if the challenges are going to
be with money or not.
So sh if you really care about your
parasa shah is the time to pray for the
master of the universe that I need
parasa
and just to say the to say it as a side
note the kadoshbu is not interested in
making any one of you poor that's not
part of the plan could be in many
situations a tikun a rectification that
needs to be done from a certain sin that
will bring poverty to a person but Other
than that, Hashem doesn't have the
interest of making anyone poor.
I will right away redirect the the
finger at [clears throat]
the person is responsible for his own
actions
with an exception that there are
situation that a person's mazal is not
to have money.
The mazal is not the luck that you go
with it to Vegas. Mazal means the the
spiritual DNA of your path.
That's really your mazal. The mazal is
your maybe I didn't define it the right
way. [snorts] Your mazal is so to say
the the your entire path what you're
going to go on the your entire life.
what is going to be your khim your uh
vessels in order to perform your uh
purpose in this world. So if Hashem
wants to wants when Hashem gives me a
purpose in this world my mazal will hold
in it all the how to actually do my
purpose and the vers that I'm talking
about if I have to do a certain tikun
that has to do with developing something
whatever will give me and if I have to
do a tun with a certain certain sins
will give me character traits to be able
to deal with the rectification that I
need to do. So there are situations that
the mazal of the person is to be poor or
not to make money and he needs to figure
it out very quick and not to run after
money and to be happy with what Hashem
gives him. And before we start I have to
give an example of a friend of mine that
going back 20 years [snorts]
he he had brilliant ideas. I thought
he's going to be the next Facebook. He
had ideas before Facebook came out. You
can't even imagine what brilliant ideas
he had. And always he would forget the
money and fund and this and that. And
somehow
nothing ever worked out. I knew him for
over 10 years. Every brilliant idea that
he came up with never worked out. And I
I didn't understand how it doesn't work
out. Brilliant ideas. One of the his
business ventures I even lend him money.
I that's how much I was so
feeling good about this business that he
did. To make a long story short,
nothing worked.
At some point, I told him, "Listen,
I I I don't see any mazal for you. You
you in it doesn't look like you have any
braha in Parasa.
I don't think that your path in this
life has to be about money. I see that
you are brilliant in the Torah, but in
levels that I don't see so often. You
need to learn Torah all day long.
[clears throat] So for about 10 years,
every two three months came a new
business failed miserably.
Years passed and I lost contact with him
and uh in a very interesting way our
path met again and out of curiosity I
told him what are you doing now he's
like I sit and learn in kle all day long
I'm happily married I have two lovely
daughters life is I I couldn't be better
so he took the man 15 years to
understand that his mazal has nothing to
do with money. Forget about money. In
this incarnation, you it's not your
thing. And you know, he had a horrible
marriage, horrible divorce. Everything
life for him was falling apart.
And when he switched the attitude, then
everything went well. And so far, it's a
happy story. So are there are exceptions
that a person needs to figure out that
his mazal will not bear any money and he
should put his mind to something else
completely. He she by the way I'm saying
he but it's applies to everyone.
So that's one thing that you need to
figure out. Again we I'm looking now at
everybody with the understanding that or
the assumption that you struggle with
parasa. I don't think neither one here.
And maybe I'm I'm wrong. I mean, I
didn't see any Bentleys outside, so I'm
assuming nobody's here, you know,
rolling in dough, as they say.
>> Thank God.
>> So, and there's nothing wrong or good or
bad. By the way, I'm just
>> Thank you. That's what I like, by the
way. But again, I'm we're here. We're
practical even though we're very
spiritual people and we want to be
attached to Hashem all day long. But
the bottom line is I don't work for one
or two days. That's it. Mortgage
payments, tuition, kids, food. You you
put the you take the foot off the gas
for one minute, it's it's a problem. So
we got to be practical. Till Mashia
comes, we have to be practical. Mashia
comes will all sit learn Torah from
morning to night. That's another another
reason good enough reason for us to pray
for Mashiach to come and to do whatever
we can to make sure that he's coming
fast.
But practically saying,
most people either have very big issues
with making money or making money is a
always a struggle or every month is a
different struggle.
And there are the we'll call it now the
exceptions that they're doing good.
They're doing well. But we'll talk about
them for a second too because they're
not exempt.
So going back to what I was saying there
are ex exceptions that a person's mazal
no money figure it out as fast as you
can and move on. So if one of you shalom
see that in the last 10 15 20 years
doesn't matter what you do that you're
always in dead ends then look into very
deep how much you can figure out if
that's your mazal and what you need to
do about it and and also come to terms
with it. No, no, doesn't mean everybody
has to have money. I had times in my
life that I was so poor that I didn't
even care about it. First, when I got
married, we my wife and me were so poor
that my wife would come to the yeshiva
where I learned I would take two
portions of food from the the we had
food in the yeshiva and I would take two
portions out. I would go out to the
street. We would sit on the bench in the
street and uh in a very romantic way eat
our uh dinner and that's it. We didn't
have money. We didn't have money at all.
And and it's not that we my wife didn't
try. I mean there was kind of like a
block. No money now.
It didn't it didn't bother me. I was
busy learning. It didn't bother my wife.
So there are times in your life that
there that you up sometimes you're down.
But let's go. Let's focus on what I want
to learn. So I was saying that on Shana
gives blessings to everybody. And if you
would realize how much blessings you got
on Shah then you wouldn't complain as
much as you do and you would realize
that it's you have to do a lot more to
receive that. Now how does the system
work and I'm talking right now just
about money not about health or other
things in your life.
Kosh will bless you with a certain
amount how much money you're going to
make that year, but you don't get it
right away.
The amount stays in the spiritual bank.
Now, you need to bring it down. The
[clears throat] money doesn't come to
you right away overnight.
Zor explains that there was once a king
and he had a few sons and uh he made
with them some deal and he told them I'm
going to take care of you. You're my
sons. I'm going to take care of you. Uh
but I want you to come to me every day
three times and every time you come to
me I'm going to write you a check.
Okay. Who wouldn't say you know anybody
would say no to his father
taking care of me? Why not? So it worked
well the first day, the second day, the
third day. After a few days, one of the
sons told the father, "Father, it's so
kind of you that you're helping us and
supporting us, but do you really need us
to bother you three times a day for
that?" I mean, after all, you're the
king. I mean just do a wire once a
month, send a check once a what's the
big deal to come here three times a day.
So the king said if I wouldn't tell you
to come here three times a day I
wouldn't see you.
So the tells you I want to see you. I'll
give you your money but I want to see
you. You have to come here three times a
day
and that's how you get a check.
here to the synagogue, not here to
Denver.
Then I'll give you your money. When you
pray, when you pray, you start pulling
blessings from above.
Hashem blessed you to be healthy.
Then Hashem says, "Okay, now pray, pull
it down." Hem blesses us with everything
that we need. How do we bring the
blessing down into the world? Or how do
we transform it from spiritual to
physical? Through prayer. Through
specific 18 prayers that I recite three
times a day. And when I recite these
prayers with the right mind frame, then
I'm able to transform the spiritual
blessing into a physical blessing. And
it will come down into the world will
manifest into the world in the amount
what I should bring down that day.
Anything that you would give too much in
one shot won't be able to hold it. You
give I I'll pull out now a cup and I
want you to pour me good wine or
whatever. Yeah, you can't pour the whole
bucket into the to the cup. It won't
hold anything. Just make a a huge mess.
So what what would be the point of that?
Now you made a huge mess. All the wine
spilled and I don't have nothing. So
Hashem says, "Yeah, I will give you to
your vessel every day in the quantity
what you can handle."
So first of all, you have to understand
that to manifest the blessings into the
world, you have to pray.
Second of all, you have to understand
that you won't get everything in the one
in one shot. It has to come in
increments. But the quantity of the inc
increments or I should say more correct
the amount for each increment that
depends on you depends on your on your
on your vessel.
Hypothetically if you can only hold
$1,000
in one shot then you'll get $1,000 but
if you can hold 10,000 you'll get
10,000.
So first of all it has to be very clear
that the parnasa the sustenance I have
to manifest it from the spiritual
blessing to the physical
before we start I mean we're before we
start we have halfway through uh the the
preparation the intro is usually long to
to get five minute uh message but I want
to stop for one second to ask a question
and to answer it for the ones who might
have been thinking about it and maybe
are behind the the camera and they don't
have the opportunity to ask.
If we're going by what I just said,
I think that the amount of people who
pray every day is such a minority that
it's like a drop in the ocean.
That means how come all the rest of the
people who don't pray three times a day
get money?
>> Exactly what I want to say.
>> I mean, I'm going by what the Torah
says. I It doesn't matter to me right
now. Your faith, your background, your
your your no. It doesn't matter.
I just said and I'm quoting the Torah.
It's not that I'm inventing anything.
You you want to bring down your parnasa,
you have to pray three times a day. End
the story. We can finish the the lecture
here. Go start praying every day. But
first, we have to answer this simple
question. What about the people who
don't pray? I'm not talking about
sinning right now. They don't pray three
times a day.
>> They make millions.
>> Even if they don't make millions, even
if they make thousands,
>> did they pray in a prior life?
Uh
no. The answer of course is no. Uh but
let let me let me go through my uh my
points and I'll answer everything. If we
have time, I'll give some time for
questions. But it's a simple question.
How come a person doesn't pray? Let's
take a Jew now. A secular Jew doesn't
pray. Doesn't even know where the
synagogue is and he's making money and
could be even millions like you're
saying.
So first of all,
we don't know uh what's beyond what we
see. I know personally many people who
don't pray. They're not really
observant. But happens to be that
because of them many others pray
whether they donate to the synagogue,
they donate to the yeshiva, they have
kids.
I know a man that is so secular, you're
not going to get him into a synagogue.
Doesn't matter what. Hashem
that has a very good sense of humor
because that person is very anti- Torah.
All his children became observant.
[laughter] All his children one after
the other. And I was laughing the whole
time cuz I I had some engagement with
him. We became we had some uh h business
to do to do. He wasn't like he didn't
come to a lecture it's not my student I
came to him actually to do something
well you know the last name Jew we
started talking and he was always as
much as he was good in what he did he
always like had like these little
comments about the Torah and Judaism and
commenting me and
which I didn't care but his karma was
his the laugh was all his kids became
observant
one after the other and I was laughing
the whole time but what am I this guy he
supports his kids so he supports kids
the people who are learning and praying
and all that so it's not an excuse I'm
just telling you in one aspect how can
it be that a person is not observant
doesn't pray at all and still has his we
don't see beyond what the hashem puts in
front of us that's one option I know a
lot of people that they might not be
righteous on their look but they give a
lot of money quietly
Matanbaset, they donate quietly. And I
know a lot of people that they might not
look on the outside so righteous, but I
learned a long time ago not to judge a
book by its cover and to understand that
a lot of people do things way beyond you
and me and we don't even see it. And
we're very judgmental because they do it
in certain ways. And who are us to judge
and let Hashem do the judging?
That's a more kind answer. But there is
the answer that one might ask, look at
this rash. Look at this wicked person
and look how much money he's making. No
problems with parasa.
So that's not a blessing by the way.
Hashem is cutting him his checks in this
world.
It's coming off the balance from the
world to come. So he might now has a lot
of money and nice cars and beautiful
clothes and vacations and life seems
good.
You don't know what's waiting on the
other side. He might come to the other
side and they'll tell him khabibi you
cashed all your mitzvot every little
thing that you did that is good. You
cashed it already. There's nothing left.
And there are many more options why a
person that we see that is not been
praying and they have money and it can
be an effect from a different life like
you said it's not you said it
differently that's why I thought so how
to answer you but yeah it could be that
in a previous life the person did
something and in this life he gets paid
and it might go down from his spiritual
balance. The thing is there are many
options. The Zor talks about it in
several places. Other books of Cababala
and Mus talk about it. I rather not
waste our time on this right now. Look
at yourself. Don't look at the other
people who don't pray. Hashem has his
account with everybody. I gave you a few
examples why a person that doesn't pray
at all still will have money. And know
that there are much more examples. But
my approach is I don't look at him that
he doesn't pray and he has money. I look
at me. I only look at me. It's the only
view I need to see, not somebody else.
So,
a very simple answer. You want money,
you have to pray three times a day.
That's it. And by the way, I'm sorry to
break it out to you. Women have to pray,
too. And I don't know which rabbi you
listen to.
Says that you have to pray. If you
areazi, you have to pray twice a day. If
you're safari, you pay pray once a day.
That's from any other person who tells
you differently then is misleading you.
Now the only difference is that you
don't have to go to Armenian. You don't
have to come to you can pray at home.
You can pray whenever you want. I mean
technically you can pray at 10:00 at
night.
The the advice is for a woman is that
you praying if it's in the time frame of
of then pray. If it's in the time frame
of ma, then pray.
And there's no excuses. I know a lot of
women tell me, "What are you kidding me?
I have kids. I have responsibilities and
a job and this and that." Well, you know
what? I have seven kids. Or to be more
exact, my wife has seven kids, too. She
finds a way to pray. No excuses. And you
know what she used to do when my kids
were young? They would get together
three women. One prays, two babysits,
then they switch. And the women get to
pray and women your prayers are no
offense more powerful than men. So first
of all and most important nobody's
exempt from praying. The better you do
it the more you do it. The more you
bring down shea. That's it. Very simple
math. Very very simple math. And again
do not look at another person who didn't
pray today and they're making money.
Forget that option. Put on your eyes
like they do to horses. Don't don't
don't look to the sides. The grass of
the neighbor is always better, greener,
nicer, more lush.
The worst attitude is to look at another
person and say, "How come he and not
me?"
But to make it simple, that's how you
bring money into the world. That's how
you bring your palmai into the world.
And it's very important for you to know
because I see all types of people. the
wicked ones that make a lot of money,
the righteous one that don't make money,
the righteous ones that do make money,
the wicked that don't make I see all all
the options and I analyze it. And I also
see that sometimes money is a curse. I
see people that they have a lot of
money, they don't have one moment of
quiet, not one moment of quiet all day
long. All day long headaches and issues
and who needs this money already. Money
is not always a blessing. money wanted
only wanted to come with a ba that's
another thing I wanted to add when you
see a person that has money and they
don't pray
in many of the cases there's no blessing
in that money there's a lot of money
goes out on expensive dentists and what
it goes on doctors
so
to to make it simple that's how you
manifest
money into the world. I I can't give you
advice that doesn't exist. I can only
give you advice what the Torah says. The
Torah says that's how you will manifest
parasa into the world. Now
comes another question.
How many people I'm sure half of you if
not all of you do come to pray three
times a day and still have problems with
their paranas,
right?
So first of all, do you really come
three times a day or if you miss some of
it? How do you pray? Do you come last to
the banesset with your tongue out and
you're just answering answering some
quick amends? Do you come the first? Is
your prayer quietly? Are you thinking
about a million things while you pray or
are you thinking of the prayer itself?
Are you talking during the session?
Especially in Shakarit, don't expect any
blessing if you have fillain on your
head and you're talking with the fillain
on your head during a minan. So I know a
lot of people who come every day like
Swiss clocks,
but when they're in the sh they talk,
they talk business, they slander,
sometimes fight. I saw fist fights in
jewels.
So the fact that you made an effort to
come here so you have you have the
reward of walking to the sh but what did
you do in the sh how many times did you
check your phone during
when the repetition of the did you do
you check your phone do you even come
with your phone to the
how do you come now just that you
understand
is very particular with the righteous
like the the width of a hair. So if you
are bent Torah and you pray three times
a day and you eat kosher and observe
Shabbat and give saddaka and learn
Torah, you're bent to
is looking at you like this with a
magnifying glass.
So you didn't answer the right way
because you looked at the at your phone.
Oh,
don't expect shea coming down.
Shea means an abundance.
When I became observant, of course, I
was beyond naive when it came to the
Torah and everything for me was like
whatever the Torah says, it's holy. I
can't even think of doing anything
differently.
Not that anything changed, but I would
go into new synagogues, new yeshivot,
and I would be shocked
from different things mainly in the in
that filot. And I went through a lot of
communities when I became observant. A,
I went to different yeshivots.
B, a lot of communities disappointed me.
First of all, a lot of communities
kicked me in my didn't want me even to
come there. Just found out a little bit
about my past. No, we don't want you
here. So, had a nice experience, but the
thing that shocked me the most in all in
all communities is how the prayers are
conducted.
Most shuls talking during the prayer.
I'm not talking about now the the the
phones ringing and
business and
so and again I'm talking for the ones
who do the effort and they come and they
still see problems with parasa so the
fact that you came and you have a yamaka
and a tit doesn't mean that you did it
right doesn't mean that you did it the
right way and if you were pointing
pointing fingers on the jeul so don't go
there so find yourself a different
synagogue
I don't go to s I mean listen I travel
all the time and for me it's hard but
when I'm in my place I choose where I
pray I can't pray when they praying 500
miles an hour speed I I just can't I I'm
not going to pray in such a place now
when I'm traveling I don't have an
option
I'm here what am I going to do but in my
surrounding I pray slowly and I'm I'm
Israeli I read Hebrew I read I read good
better than all of
and I read slow because that's how you
pray. So it might take me another 20
minutes, but those extra 20 minutes on
my slow with intention prayer removes
not 20, 20 hours of problems that I
would deal with if I would pray not the
right way.
Once not too long ago, I sent my wife to
do an errand in the bank and she came
back after two hours. Like, where were
you? I was in the bank two hours.
>> Yeah. There was a line and then the
computer didn't work and then this
didn't work. And
so when I go to the bank, I go in and I
go out.
>> And in everything that I do in this
world, anything that I need to take care
of, I go in, check, and I go out. Why?
because I spend that extra 20 minutes in
the morning praying and I'm not stingy
with my time saying oh I need to go fast
and I know I see it obvious how the
shortens for me things what's called
because when it comes to the praying I
pray like a turtle I prayan of slow
prayers because that's how you pray by
the way where you'll hear the words and
nobody's talking during the Torah and I
can't hear nothing cuz some guy is doing
business right now and she's gossiping
with her friend and so sorry that I'm
being so so aggressive but that's the
fact.
Now let's take it to the next level. How
about a person who does pray three times
a day but real good and learns and does
everything
and still has problems with parasa.
So first of all and most important one
needs to be very very clear on their own
paths to figure out where they're
holding and if they don't know how to do
it then they need to consult the right
rabbi who will help them find those
information.
I mean if you're a little bit in touch
with yourself and if you are a little
bit more spiritual than you are required
you will get this information from
Hashem. I don't ask questions. We talked
about yesterday about my rabbi if you
ask me how when how often do you go
there? I don't I go there every half a
year to say hello. I don't ask him
questions. I come with him with nuclear
bomb questions
not little questions. Why? I don't need
to bother him. He has a lot of students.
He has a lot of in his mind. I don't
need to come and ask him every little
thing. I'll go and open the book by
myself.
But besides going to open the book by
yourself, if it's a halaka question, I
have a certain matter that I can't
figure out. I'll go and fast
eating. I won't eat for one day. I won't
talk for one day.
Read a book of givea.
Go do a few other actions. Hashem, I
need an answer. And the answer comes
very fast.
Try it one time. I don't ask people what
do I need to do. I ask Hashem what he
needs me to do and how do I need to
figure out what I need to do and Yeah.
Yeah. So you put a little bit of
sacrifice and don't put food for in your
mouth for 24 hours and pray and do a few
other actions. It's irrelevant right
now. And ask for Hashem for an answer.
It's very simple. That's how I get all
my answers.
Theor says, "You want good answers? Stay
up. Learn Torah all night. But learn
Torah. Not a half night Netflix, half
night Instagram, and 15 minutes to
Mishnayot. Learn Torah all night.
Then go and pray nets, of course, not at
11:00 in the morning. Go to the mikvah
and you will see that you'll get any
answer that you want. You'll get any
guidance that you want. Of course, you
pray for that." And you know what? I did
that for the first five years of my cha
because I needed a lot of guidance and I
had a lot of questions that were
difficult. That's what my rabbi told me.
That's what I did. Learn Torah all day
long, all night. Don't pray in the
morning. The answer will come and it
comes. Might come in a day, might come
in a week. The answer comes in ways.
Hashem has limitless ways to give you
answers.
So again, now we're back to the place of
you have extreme to this side and
extreme to that side. Every situation is
different. The base to everything is the
there's no other way here. There's no
other option. I looked, trust me, I
searched, I looked. There are many
remedies. There are many things one can
do to bring parnas. But the the the
foundation is that you get blessed on
Shana and then you need to bring it down
in prayer three times a day. That's it.
That's the system. Now work around it.
You need to figure out if you don't pray
at all then you have an answer to
praying. Hard for you? Then start with
one prayer. Then you increase to two
prayers and so forth. We're not going to
do a class now of how to approach
prayers. But if you're in the level of
not praying, then start. And women have
to pray too. By the way, don't need to
to repeat that. If you are already
praying, look how you praying. Look how
look at your prayers.
Are there in a rush? Are you late? Are
you sitting and making business? Are you
checking your phone? Look at your
prayer. If you want a good prayer, don't
come with your phone to the vicet. Don't
leave all your worries at home. Don't
talk. Don't socialize. I know ashu is a
place to socialize. Socialize over there
where you make coffee. That's where you
socialize. You sit in a corner and you
came to talk to Hashem, not to anyone
else. Somebody talks to you,
somebody continues talking to you, just
move to a different place.
But you want your prayers prayer to be
good. You want to pronounce the words
the right way. Most people don't
pronounce the words the right way.
Most people unfortunately don't know how
to pray in Hebrew. You don't know how to
pray in Hebrew, start learning Hebrew.
If you work for Hashem and you don't
know his language, shame on you.
Sorry.
I don't care if you're American,
Russian, whatever you are, you learn the
language of the master of the universe.
And if you don't, something's lacking
here. [snorts]
I know converts from all over the world.
They know Hebrew just as good as me.
There's no excuses. And I'm not saying
converts because they come from places.
You come from a place that you heard the
Hebrew. Or maybe not. Maybe I'm just I'm
saying the point is is irrelevant.
That's the language that the Torah was
given. That's the language of Hashem.
You decide
that you are a follower of Hashem.
Then learn his language. I know it's not
easy, but don't go this like this all
day long. and you'll find a lot of free
time to learn. Learn five words a day.
That's all it takes. I promise you in
three years you'll know how to talk. Not
telling you to learn it in a month. I'm
telling you to start learning it.
Start saying the important prayers in
Hebrew
something. So you don't don't don't
don't
think that you're not going to come and
invest and Hashem is just going to pour
shea on you.
Shea means an abundance. Hashem has
expectations.
And again, don't take any word that I'm
saying as an insult. Take it as or
criticism. Take it as inspiring words
that should elevate you. So if you don't
read or pray in Hebrew, start learning
it. Maybe you came tonight just to hear
that the minimum of the minimum should
be learn how to say in Hebrew. Come on,
the minimum. And put it to for you to be
the highest priority. If you put Hashem
the highest priority by default, he will
put all your priorities as high
priority.
You have to understand how Hashem works.
We're going to get to it in a second.
The more you focus on Hashem, he will
give you what you need, not what you
want, what you need. And in many of the
cases,
in many of the cases, much more than
what you need. He will make you very,
very comfortable. And by the way,
everything that I'm saying is not coming
from necessarily from the text. The text
explains to us that you have to pray.
Everything else that I'm saying in
between, it's it's it's pure uh uh
experience.
So what brings to us this shea this
abundance then prayers that's the title
you're a man you have to pray
make it your business I'm not going to
even continue adding anything about that
I told you enough make it your business
women that's that's the next thing you
need to do
but there are a few things that I'm
first of all there are many things this
class is going to be very short and to
the point because I can talk on many
many concepts and this will become a
very long class and I rather talk about
a few things that you can apply
whatever you will add will just make it
worse. So the title is now I know by the
way before I continue that a lot of
people don't like praying or they don't
can't see themselves praying or
you brought me all the way here to tell
me to pray. Well listen I can't give you
shortcuts.
There is a certain prayer that
I believe it's not only that coming from
my belief I can tell you that I know and
it's also known that that is the source
of your blessing that I know that most
people do a lot of effort to prevent
from saying it this prayer and of course
I'm talking about birkaton
birkat mazon the prayer you say after
eating is the only prayer that we have
from the Torah, what's called all the
rest of the prayers of
that's the only plan that the Torah
says.
You should eat. You feel good. Now say a
blessing.
You don't have to raise your hand to
shalom. Not be embarrassed.
But if you don't say every day, don't
even start whining about your
heard what I said.
Tells you, I give you whatever you need,
whatever you want, your food.
All I want is eight minutes of your time
to thank me. And people drive an hour to
the other side of town to buy the pizza
that is meonote.
>> Whoa.
Is this Is this a mozzy?
I'll have from there salad.
>> [snorts]
>> Ask yourself when was the last time you
waited
to wash your hands for the meal and then
say
by by your expressions neither one of
you you eat every day right?
Everybody eats every day. Some people
look like they eat all day.
So you eat every day. So, why don't you
say Batamazon every day?
[snorts] I'm not joking with you, by the
way. I'm I'm adding some uh some
comments. I know they're funny,
but you you you eat all day long. No,
let's cut to the chase. All day long,
there's food running on going on there.
And if you are in a vacation, where are
we eating?
And every everything's around the food.
So, food is a big part of our life. Do
you send every day?
>> I heard a very soft voice saying yes.
>> Yes, you do.
>> But there two. Okay.
And again, it's not about putting
anybody on their spot. You eat every
day.
How? What's the word in English?
You're full.
>> Satisfied. satisfied.
>> What?
>> Satiated.
Most people, no offense,
they eat like animals.
And that what makes them sick. A I would
say a large amount of the sicknesses is
the food you eat and how you eat it. 80%
of the food that you eat is not even
food. So don't expect to be healthy. And
it's how you eat it and the quantities.
You don't need to eat five plates. The
body doesn't need so much food.
You need to eat a little bit whatever
the body needs. And when do you eat it?
What hours? I mean, the entire Torah
around food is a is is a big and
important thing. But regardless to that,
regardless to that, you eat every day
and you get full. So you are obligated
to say
besides the fact that we do know fact
that is uh I don't like using words like
remedy. That's your source of the braha.
Now I want to add a few things that are
very important when it comes to uh the
the the parasa that is that that I hope
you're taking some notes because if you
you if you don't do all that you are
required it will cause a problem with
the flowing of the money of the parasa.
So first of all and most important is
your pairs. Then you add on that which
is not an addition cuz you have to. It's
kind of like I I I actually don't get it
because the Torah is very clear.
So I know a lot of people say, "Oh, no.
I I will eat the and say
come on."
So you want you want to go like this. So
don't cry that you don't have money.
But there's a few other elements that
are extremely important when it comes to
your parnasa. And I can tell you already
that if you don't three do all these
next three that I'm talking about,
you're also going to have tremendous
issues with parnasa. And the answer will
be also exactly what I gave before to
the ones who don't do it. The first of
all which is nonquestable is observing
Shabbat. Person who doesn't observe
Shabbat has no blessings. And again for
the same answer I will give you when you
asking me but what about the people who
don't observe Shabbat and I see life is
going very well for them. Same answer
copy paste what I told you 20 minutes
ago.
End the story. And if you don't remember
I told you that the support etc. And and
in many of the cases they're it's
getting off their their their balance.
So don't be so impressed.
A person that observes Shabbat brings
all the blessings in every aspects of
his or hers life just by observing the
Shabbat. Technically, if you observe
Shabbat the right way, you should not
have any issues in your life. Any
no offense. And again, all my words here
are just words of encouragements, not
words of judgment or to uh uh offend
somebody. Most of you who think that you
observe Shabbat, you don't really
observe Shabbat.
>> [snorts]
>> You're missing here a very large portion
of things that you are not learned
enough and you don't know and you fail
and I see people all the I travel almost
every Shabbat and I'm in a different
community to be able to look at people
and to tell them you're doing great but
here you do Shabbat and this is M and
you're not allowed to move it and yeah
maybe you're not driving and for you oh
I'm not driving and I'm not working and
I'm not on my phone you think these are
the big ones but Muk is a very pretty
severe transgression
and borer too,
sifting and cooking. And a lot of people
fail when it comes to bishul
because they're just not learned enough.
I can tell you that I thought that I'm
observing Shabbat
for a good eight years, seven, eight
years till I reached to the portion in
of Shabbat and then I realized that I'm
not even close to observing Shabbat. I
might not work. I not I'm not on my
phone. I don't drive. But when it comes
to the details,
not even in the direction.
And the more you learn, the more you
figure out that you're not even
observing Shabbat.
>> Now, again, this is not necessarily
as burn lighting up fire. There's
different severities when it comes to
Shabbat.
But it doesn't matter right now the
severity. Even if it's a a aad
of even if it's a generation of a
generation because it wants to when it
comes to the 39 prohibitions of Shabbat
there's the actual the physical act and
then there's what's called like
generations of it that if I will do a
certain act it will lead me and lead me
and lead me and lead me and eventually I
will do Shabbat. So it doesn't really
matter in which level you're talking
about. There's a desecration of Shabbat,
there's a problem. And when a person
observes Shabbats,
all his life is full of blessings
in all aspects. By the way, and sorry
that I keep saying he, I also saying
she. It's the same thing. It's hard for
me to say she, she, I'm not a she, but
nevertheless,
you observe Shabbat the right way,
you'll see all the blessings that you
need to see in your life. And I know a
lot of people start observing Shabbat
and life caves down on them. Yeah, but
you've been doing junk for the last 20
20 years. Give it a few years to balance
out. A lot of people who they start
observing Shabbat and or doing other
mitzvot and it it seems like everything
is going wrong. But yeah, you kind of
have to balance the the p your past and
then you'll start seeing blessing. And I
can tell you already that a person can
be praying and eating kosher and
observing Shabbat and have one sin that
ruins everything. And we'll get to that
very soon. So first of all,
Shabbat, no question.
There's another thing that people
disregard a lot. I don't have to explain
a lot about it. I hope I don't.
Is how do you honor your spouse? If you
honor your spouse,
then will be a great error
of Sheffa. If there's disrespect between
me and my spouse, then that will damage
the partnot.
And it goes in both ways.
Now, yeah, I can make a class now on
what I'm talking about, but I think you
can make the math by yourself.
>> Why spouse?
>> Why the spouse? I will conclude the cla
the class with one sin that damages the
parnas to most people because they are
involved in that sin and that's
connected to this uh kibud of the
honoring of the spouse but to very
briefly answer that the unity between a
husband and and man is a symbol of
perfection and unity between God and
this world and many other sacred things.
When the structure of the household of
marriage is damaged, there's no
foundation for for any blessing here.
Hashem doesn't like that. Hashem doesn't
like when a man uh h doesn't honor his
wife. And the same thing rather the same
thing the other around when a wife
doesn't honor the husband. Respect,
honor.
You know, when you're in love and you're
dating the the spouse you is on a ped,
how do you say pedestal?
>> Pedestal. pedestal. [sighs]
She can't do wrong. So why 10 years
later she's your biggest enemy? I can
tell you already. We're not going to get
to that path tonight. But marital issues
cause a lot of parnasa problems. That's
another put it under your title to to to
figure out. And you know what? marital
issues. It all boils down to your
humility and how much you willing to
accept that there's another human being
in the room and they have needs,
desires, and many other things that you
need to either cater or shut up and you
chose to be in that relationship. So,
we're not going to talk about marriages
right now, but I can tell you already
when there's disrespect between the
couples, it damages the parasa. Why,
how, what? There's a lot what to explain
about that. At the end, I'm going to add
one more sin that is a problem and
that's kind of connected and it will be
more clear.
But I'm already telling you that and you
know what? Everything that I'm telling
you, I I practice what I preach. And I
can tell you already that everything
that I practice, what I say in regards
to it, it works. It works. I know you're
seeing a rabbi, but I also have to I I
have a family. I have seven kids to
support. So, I need parasa, too. And my
nonforprofit doesn't give me parasa. The
nonforprofit is for you, not for me. I
have my own business that runs my own
life because I can't depend and I won't
depend on anyone. So, my day is divided
into many segments. I'm a husband. I'm a
father of seven kids. you know what's
what sustenance you need for seven kids,
tuitions, cooking, food and all that. So
I'm a father, I'm a husband, I'm a
rabbi, I'm a teacher and I'm also a
businessman and I own also business and
I I I I can't depend and I won't and the
same thing with you know with my
organization. We accept donations very
happy but maybe 15% of my budget is
donations. 85% of the budget is what you
buy when you leave the lecture
and the business that I have. I fund my
own my own adventures
for 10 years. 10 years I funded my
entire organization with my own
business. I never took $1 of a donation
till my rabbi told me, "Are you crazy?
Take donations and give more time to the
organization."
The point that I'm trying to say is that
I can tell you that these things work.
Now there's one more thing that I want
to focus on that has to do with when it
comes to parasa and it's not that we're
concluding here. There are many other
things but let's start with what I told
you now filot and all that. There's one
thing that most people most people don't
do and if you want to have good parasa
you have to do it and you have to do it
even if you don't want good parasa
and I'm talking about
>> that you give 10% of your earning how do
you call it in English thai
>> tithe
>> tithing
I know for a fact that most people don't
do it and the ones who do they just give
a lot of money as charity and they say
it will somehow fit in that 10%. I give
more than 10%. That's what I hear. Then
you have a big mistake when you do that.
Huge mistake because have to be
calculated. Even if you give 50% which
you're not allowed to you have to give
10%. The says you want to be rich give
20%. Not a dime more. and say in all
sources do not give more than that 20%.
Don't pretend that you're that generous.
Now if you want to give more then it can
come in forms of
but it's not your money.
Most of you who don't give mas you steal
Hashem's money and then you think you're
going to have a with your money.
And again, you don't have to raise your
hand right now if you're giving mass or
know. I know most people don't. And the
ones who do have no not even the
slightest idea how to do it.
How to calculate. And you know how I
know that barely people do it? Because I
told you in the beginning of the class
that I get thousands of messages. I can
tell you by the messages today with AI.
I can tell you in percentage
what are the most asked questions what
are the most topics that people I'm
telling you I also use AI for my own
benefit to get my statistics and stuff
like that how can I become better so I
can tell you that the majority of
problems that people come to me is money
the next after that is marital problems
but you know how many responses I get
about masot even a 0.0 mean zero
something%.
That's a joke that from tens of
thousands of followers that I have, not
even 5% or 10% ask me about my how do I
give it? How do I calculate it? Who do I
give it to? When do I give it?
I live in Israel. I'm making dollars. Do
I pay in shekels? Do I pay in dollars? I
don't get all these questions.
I don't get any questions about masot.
So I know you're not giving masrot
and even if you're 17 and you work for
McDonald's, well hopefully you're kosher
and you're working for shalom pizza. But
even if you babysit,
I teach my kids you make money, you pay
myself from that. Whether they pay or
not, it's not my problem. I teach them
that you have to pay 10% of what you
make. I told you and I believe it was in
this show the story. Did I tell this the
story with the 770?
I think I did say it
>> with the Materiona.
>> No,
>> not at all.
>> Okay. So, the class will now go a little
bit longer because I have to tell you a
story.
When I became observant
after a few years, I met my wife
Barashem and like I told you in the
beginning we were extremely poor and not
that it was my choice but I wanted to
learn my wife wanted me to learn
it. It didn't interest me money. What
interest me is Torah. So I everything
worked out. Okay. But at some point it
did bother us. My wife came from
background with money. I came from a
background with my I mean it just at
some point it got to us
and to make a very long story short came
yum kipur I prayed in a very small betet
and it was one of my first yam kipur
and the second day of yam kipur I mean
the day of in min
said we're about to take the sepher tora
out and we have three aliot
and we sell the aliot. And you have to
understand was the sh was like 20 people
the aliot went for like $10
$5.
Okay. So he says but there is a certain
aliyah that we sell but uh this is
remedy to make money to have to be rich
and to make money. So right away my ear
opened up and he was talking about the
mafiona aliyah of materiona.
Right away I heard money. I was like,
"Okay, I'm in." So started the bidding.
So the first bid was $5. It went to $10,
$15. I mean, it was a very small je.
Then it went to 18, 36, 50, 80, $100,
120. Now you have to understand for me
at that time 120 was I needed to
mortgage something to to pay $100. But I
was like, "No, I'm getting this. I I I I
want this. The rabbi said it's gala. I'm
going to eat it alive." And the other
guy wanted it too. So I went to 180,
200, 220, 225 and like two alligators
trying to and both of us are broke. No
money. So the increments were very
small. 228 231
saying in my mind I'm like a Rottweiler.
I'm like locked on it. I'm coming home
with this material. I don't care if it's
50,000 even.
And it went to 300 eventually with small
increments to 400, 500, 600. In my mind,
I'm already like sweating like where
where am I going to get the money? I'm
like I'm going to have to mop the floor
of the shoe for the next 3 years.
600, 700, 720, 750,
stops at 770.
And I was the lucky winner.
I go up. I come up to the Torah. I go
up. I'm in my mind. Should it be a BMW?
What? Of course I'm joking. This is just
the additions. But I go up to the Torah.
I read the mater. Everything's great.
And that year I opened the uh business
which I needed parnas and I needed
blessing.
And I learned about masot. And
[clears throat] I was like, "Okay, I'm
taking on myself,
taking on myself. I'm giving myself and
I'm gonna learn about it how to do it.
And I'm going to do it the right way."
I come home,
my wife didn't see me for 24 hours. How
was Yonkip? Everything was great. How
was yours? We sit, we drink a cup of
tea, and then
in a by the way, she she was like asking
me, "How was your prayers?" And and she
was like, "Well, I really hope we're
going to have a good year." I told her,
"Honey,
you have nothing to worry about." I took
care of it.
Really? What'd you do?
Words are not needed.
I took care of it.
You must tell me what you did.
Okay. If you must, [clears throat] I
bought the mafiona.
She's like, "Excuse me?"
I said, "I told you words.
Don't worry." She was like, "What's
materiona?" I said, "The rabbi said that
I'm going to be rich."
She was like, "Okay, I like that."
"What? What do you need to do?" No, I
said, "No, I I I got the maion." And I
went up and I did the aliyah and I read
the I read the haft and I'm like showing
off and and she was like, "But what do
you mean you got the mafiriona?"
I said, "I I I got it.
Where are you going with it?"
She was like, "I don't understand what
you're saying. I got it." I was like,
she's like, "Did it cost money?" Yeah.
How much?
Ah, what's money when it comes to come
on?
No, come on. She was like, how much did
was it? I said, no, come on. In front of
the kadoship.
Doesn't matter. We're going to be rich.
She can you tell me how much it cost? I
told her it cost $770. Oh, wasn't that
That's not too bad. $7.70.
[laughter]
I said, "Uh, will the the dot
the dot move that way?"
$770.
I already already seeing the bed get I I
was like, I'm going to sleep now on the
couch for the next year. I have to mop
now the shoe for the next year and I'm
going to be sleeping on the couch for
the next year. I never seen my wife
angry. She flipped out. We don't have
money for food. We can't even pay our
rent. What are you doing? I told her,
"Don't don't worry. The the rabbi said
everything will be fine."
That year, I started a business because
we really needed money.
A year later, and I'm telling you the
short version of the story, by the way.
A year later, I made my calculations
for my
happened to be the on the way. I already
made calculations. I already have all
the numbers. I'll do that my my taxes
already.
You know how much money I made that
year?
>> 77.
>> 77,000.
>> 100 times.
100 times exactly the 770
77,000
after expenses or anything you need.
That was the number
the maf of course that was the the
[clears throat] we'll call it now the
the no the remedy the the the
caring about every shekel because in mas
you have to calculate on the scent it's
not like oh it was about you made 35,682
start subtracting now your your
expenses.
Do you know what are considered expenses
to reduce in mas? This is not the IRS.
You're not shoving in there all sorts of
receipts.
You know, never even happened. That's
the You're not in front of Uncle Sam
here. Do you know how to calculate my
No, you don't.
77,000
I made that year. hund times exactly of
what I gave with my mind. I'm going to
give mas on my money.
So you have to pray. You have to say
all the rest.
But the mas I'm can telling you that's
my I can tell you I can sign to you.
Give mas you'll be fine. Never fails.
I'm telling you this is and you know
what
very soon I don't know exactly to tell
you in time but very soon because I'm
now in on a tour a matter of a few weeks
when I come back then in the merit of
somebody very special where I'm going to
start teaching about masot
and you know well it's going to be
online I'm I'm not staying here but uh I
mean
I'm finishing my tour bizm tomorrow I'm
still in in Denver another two lectures
then I'm going to Miami few days
following that to New York then I come
back home it's purim but somewhere
around that I'll add to my curriculum of
teaching is about masot I I actually
hope and I recommend that you register
to that series and learn it because that
is the source of all the blessings when
it comes to
And the fact that you need to know is
that those that 10% doesn't belong to
you. You don't give it. You stealing
money from Hashem. That's kind of like
taking money from
if you know what that means. It's like
stealing from the holy sacrifices that
go to the beta mikdash.
You have to be a little bit uh I don't
want to say words not to pay the 10%.
It's not even your money. You're a thief
in that point.
Which is very important to know that
there are many things that can damage
your paranas. I will name a few right
now very quickly that you will be
echoing in your mind because you can do
all the good things that I just told
you.
But a few of the bad things that I'm
going to say right now, if you are
involved in that, you're going to have
an issue with
and the first one is for a woman and for
a man.
If you need explanations,
not going to be tonight, but you're
going to have to look into it.
A woman is obligated in being modest and
a man is obligating in being modest too
by guarding his eyes and guarding
everything that has to do with it. A man
that damages his brit. Don't don't
expect much. Okay, there's not much to
elaborate on that. The next is
person who speaks damages his
you talk wrong
don't expect good and all the questions
that you have that are the same of what
we talked about before what about the
people
all same you'll get the same answer for
me if you're going to ask me but what if
a person doesn't speak lashon
It doesn't matter. It will be the same
answer.
And I'll add on anything that you damage
with your mouth, lying, manipulations,
foul language, all these things. You
damage your mouth,
then you're going to damage your parnasa
because that's the tool that brings you
your parnasa because you have to pray
with your mouth.
you damage your mouth, it's going to be
hard for this tool to pray and be
accepted because the damage how it
sounds. If a person damages their tongue
by lying, slandering, gossiping, all
these wonderful things, curses,
then the so to say the tool that will
that needs to bring down the parasai is
damaged. So imagine trying to plow the
land with a damaged rake or the damaged
plow. You can't. It won't work.
If if the tool is damaged, imagine now
trying to uh screw a screw into the
wall, but the tip of the screwdriver is
all messed up. So you the tool is
damaged.
So the next one is a and everything that
has to do with with the with the mouth.
Next is a horrible sin that most people
also don't know much about is gazel
>> and one needs to learn about that. All
the laws of gazel and gazel is not
really stealing. Gazil that you take
somebody something from somebody in a
way that they don't know or maybe they
do know and it's not equivalent to
stealing but it's just as bad and in
many cases worse. And by the way, most
people fail in gazel because they just
don't know.
Gazel, the translation of gazel is
robbery. But it's not a good
translation. Gazel is that I take
something from you and you lacking from
this right now. Stealing is I come into
your house in the middle of the night
and I steal your VCR.
Look how old I am.
Steal your VCR.
What's that? But once there was a box
and you would put another type of box
into that box.
>> Go to Chad GP. I don't even know Chad
GPD will know what a VCR is. She's going
to be like, "I'm sorry. I only have
information from 2001."
But nevertheless, I break into your
house and I steal something. That's
stealing.
But I can take away something from you
in a form of gazil and you don't even
know that I took from you. And there are
million and one ways how to do that. Not
the class right now. Look it up. If you
are not familiar, I can already tell you
that gazil is a big things and you fail
in gazil in many many times. It can be
in little things even that you go into a
7-Eleven and you take something that you
don't you're not supposed to take even a
little bag of ketchup or napkin or you
go to a hotel and you take some of the
shampoos back home with you. All these
little things can fall under Gazel
and in some of the cases not but a lot
of the times you do something you don't
even know or you do and you're like
nobody will pay attention. Oh, it's an
insurance company. It's a phone company.
And the things that I hear
with the question that people ask me
about gazel thinking that it's normal.
It's not. Learn about gazel. Gazel is a
different way of theft that you taking
somebody's belongings whether it's
money, time, knowledge in a way that is
not right way to take it and it doesn't
belong to you. And I'll give you one
example out of many. You know, we do
thumbnails to all the videos, flyers and
everything.
Every little image that you see on any
of my thumbnails or designs or flyers or
anything, I buy it.
You have to pay for these images.
I know most of you don't care. You go to
Google, you download a picture. Most of
the pictures are copyrighted. And if the
picture is copyrighted, you just did
gazel and you think you're going to have
parnasa.
No.
And of course on that I can elaborate
much more. Look into it. Another huge
thing that will damage your parnas if
you have debt and not debt to American
Express. Debt to a friend or to somebody
that helped you. I'm not talking right
now to an institute. That's a different
type of debt. As long as you're paying
it, you're good.
But I got a lot of questions from Jews.
I'm on the verge of bankruptcy. I can
just now get up and leave, but I owe the
banks quarter of a million dollars. What
do I do? Is it gazel? Some people just
get up and leave.
You have to ask questions like this.
Don't just get up and leave when there's
debts. But I'm talking about the debts
that family members, people gave you
money, you didn't pay it. Stuff like
that. Pay attention. I I don't see
anybody writing. So, I'm assuming you're
all going to go to the rerun and just
watch the video 20 times to make sure
that you understand everything and apply
it.
>> Oh, you said the last one I have on the
list.
>> Always save the last one for the best.
>> So, first before we get to that
is debt.
You have debt, you have to take care of
it. Even if you don't have money, call
the person. I know I owe you. I don't
have the money. I I will start paying in
a month. I can wash your car. I'll
babysit your kids. I don't know what.
But you at least acknowledge it. I'm not
going to give you now a whole M
class now. What what to do about debts,
but I pretty sure that a large amount of
you have debts that somebody gave you
money and you never paid it back. And it
can be your parents even. And the debt
has to be settled. you have debts,
figure it out. Settle it. Approach the
even if you think you're you're right.
Don't leave any debts hanging because it
will pause your parasa. And the debt can
be to a worker that you didn't pay. It
can be some disagreement between you and
a contract contractor. Settle it.
So don't leave any debts.
Now you uh mentioned twice but one thing
that causes horrible problems in parnas
and I'll give you the remedy to the to
of course the opposite of that but one
of the biggest problems that causes
parnas is makot is disagreements
and that's why I said before the
honoring of a husband and wife because a
disagreement causes a ka [clears throat]
a separation and whenever there's a
separation in the world below there's
There's a separation in the world above
that you create. And when you create a
separation in the world above, you block
all the channels of shea. Shea means an
abundance. The life force that come to
you. It can be money, it can be health,
it can be anything. Maket, a
disagreement is the number one answer to
all problems by the way, but especially
to Annie. And that's why I said before
how the husband and the h wife treat
each other. Because if a wife goes to
sleep, angry or upset, don't go to work
the next day cuz you're not going to
make money.
You're all laughing. But uh I do I need
to quote how many do you want me to
quote to you that if you hurt the wife's
feeling that you're not going to have
so I'm making something up. You hurt
your wife's feelings with talking to her
in a certain way or whatever, then you
have to do a lot of cha. Is
>> it possible the other way around too?
>> 100%.
100%. I said before, husband and wife.
I'm not expecting everything just wife
has to honor her husband. He goes to
work. He takes care of her and many
other things assuming he's a normal
husband. Of course, I'm talking right
now in the the the not normal
situations. Of course, a woman has to
respect her husband. He takes care of
her hopefully works sustenance. He
prays. He does a lot of things. The the
the respect has to be 100% mutual. I
honor my wife. I respect her. I give her
all the respect in the world. I don't
expect it, but I get it. Same thing
equally. My wife and me, we know how to
give each other the space to respect
each other, talk to each other. I never
ever ever curse my wife. I raised my
voice on her. Never if I use foul
language on her ever in my life.
It's just not I will not insult my wife.
I disagree with her. I shut up and I
leave the room. I don't go into
arguments. I don't go into
disagreements. That's my wife.
So much more so with every other
individual. I don't I don't have any
makot. I have a lot of people who
dislike me, but I don't have any
disagreements. I don't argue with
anyone. I always step back. I always
make sure that I bring peace to the
table because if you live in a
forget about health,
there's no health. There's no peace of
mind.
You know how long it takes me to fall
asleep?
Probably 1.2 to 3 seconds,
>> depending how comfortable the bed is. If
it's my bed, it's right away. I travel a
lot. They sleep on other beds. It can be
5 seconds. And the reason why I fall
asleep is not because I have very little
time to sleep.
>> It's because I have zero worries.
Zero. I don't know anybody, anything. I
did my chuva. I don't know anything. Non
apologies, no money.
My conscious is so clean.
Nothing worries me.
I do before I go to bed. I get rid of
all the junk that I need to get rid of
and I go to bed. I fall asleep in
seconds. Seconds
disagreements, arguments. The health,
it's killing your health. You don't
sleep, you don't eat, you don't digest
the food well. Needless to say, you
won't pray well. Nothing will work well.
And what's the remedy
to to to point the finger is easy.
>> [snorts]
>> What's the remedy?
Everything that I told you tonight is
extremely important. Follow everything
that I told you tonight. I guarantee to
you you'll do you'll be doing much much
much better. Not that I'm trying to show
off or anything like that, but I can
tell you that I'm I'm doing what I
taught you. I don't have issues with
parnasa
and I need a lot of parnasa cuz I have a
lot of kids and a lot of endeavors that
I do and not always people come to
participate in my endeavors. I don't
expect anyone to jump into my endeavors.
My endeavors of course is what I'm doing
here right now.
So everything that I said tonight is
important when you want to focus on your
partner. By the way, if you follow
everything that I just told you tonight,
you'll be a very happy person regardless
to your parasa.
But you have to understand, Hashem
caught us in a corner. That's really the
secret here. If we would have everything
that we wanted, you would do nothing.
You would be a spoiled brat.
So, Hashem put us in a corner because he
wants you to. He knows you're not going
to pray. Come on.
50% of men, 50 to 80% of men won't show
up to the minyan if there wouldn't be
any pressure here.
Half the people that come to pray with
me, I never see them. They only come one
day out of nowhere, they show up, end of
their prayer, start making love to the
What's going on with you? No, I have a
trial today. I have a I need I I didn't
see you for a whole year. Today you have
a court case. You start kissing the par
not to talk about the donation. Suddenly
donations start flying to all
directions. So ah you have something
here. You came to pray.
So Hashem pushed us to a corner because
when you're pressured you you behave you
conduct your your life how you're
supposed to because there's pressure. If
you would have a boss they would tell
you come whenever you want. You don't
have to come. I'll still give you money.
You would show up to work. You'll come
one day to live in. One day you go at at
1. One day you'll come at 9:00, leave at
because there's nobody sitting on you.
If you in your normal job, you don't
come on time. You'll get fired. So, of
course, you show up on time. When
there's pressure coming from some
direction, whether it's a court or
something legal, you show up because
there's going to be are you saying
retributions
and repercussions? Something's going to
happen.
Why don't you do the same thing when
it's with the Torah? Because you're not
afraid. You don't see damages happening.
But that's what I trying to explain.
Go through everything here. Not only
with everything will be fine.
But the trick here is that the gadu
cornered us. So we will do all these
mitzvot. What one needs to understand
this is a a verse that is a a mantra
that you have to have. You can find it
in the book of verse 34 chapter 34:1 16
means move away from all evil.
Do good. What's [snorts] good? Sitting
in the ice cream is good. No. Open the
Torah. The Torah will tell you what's
good to do. That's the only way where
you would find define what's good to do.
Shalom.
>> Ask peace and pursue it. If you're going
after peace, everything of the above
will work. You know why most people have
problems with panosa?
No. Simka.
no happiness.
And if you live in a in a disagreement,
you're not going to be a happy person. I
don't care how much money you have,
famous, fame, power, a person who lives
in a disagreement. Whether it's his
wife, whether it's a neighbor, whether
it's I don't care who it is, a will
never be happy until the disagreement is
over. He has a a thorn in the heart.
When there's a disagreement, you're
bothered.
You're constantly bothered. And when the
name comes up or the face comes up or
whatever,
your digestion is off, your sleeping is
off, your functioning is off, there's no
peace
tells you just move away from any evil.
I told you, you come into the sh
somebody talks to you, move away.
Somebody talks to you, I don't want to
hear.
Focus on this.
Ask for peace and pursue it. You'll see
that everything starts flowing in your
life.
When it comes to disagreements and
arguments, the complete opposite is
peace.
And the biggest cancer of all is you get
worried, you sometimes get uptight, you
might lose hope and faith in many
situations. In many of the cases, you
get very angry or all that takes you
away from your sim.
So what? So even if times are hard, the
sim the real true happiness that you
have in your heart, that's what draws
the good energy.
>> You don't have that approach. You're not
receptive. You're not a vessel to
receive anything good.
If you're looking at all the curses in
the Torah, the conclusion of all the
curses in the Torah,
for you didn't serve Hashem with true
joy and happiness.
Now take all these dots together, put it
together. I don't didn't see besides one
smart man who took notes. I didn't see
many notes taken here. Uh maybe I don't
see all the way to the end, but I
recommend I'm not joking. I'm I
recommend you already made the effort.
You came here. Everything that I told
you is not going to gonna affect your
paranas. It's going to affect your
entire life.
And again, it's not about showing off or
being arrogant or something. My life is
good. And don't get me wrong, I have
challenges from here to yingyang. Don't
think for a second that I don't have
challenges and that I don't have I'm
juggling all day long 50 difficulties
and things at the same day at the same
day.
But I can tell you that
a culttov no complaints
attitude is good good mood and I'm
dealing with things sometimes I I I I if
you want come and join me for one day
up until now in the last 20 years I
haven't found one person that was able
to stand next to me one full day and not
collapse
everyone who stood next to me say I
don't know how you do that
and there are days sometimes I go with
sleeping one hour a
But that's not the point. The point that
I'm trying to say
>> and don't think that I'm not doing
dealing with challenges like everybody
just having seven kids that's a pile of
challenges and my kids are very special
kids.
You can see some of them in the back can
understand what I'm talking about. So I
have a lot I have full plates and a lot
and
it's not only the kids. I love them but
I' I'm juggling all day long a million
things but never you will see me upset
from that doesn't get me out of my mood
and the sima that's inside it welcomes
the braha that's it
all is left for me is to
recommend to you to follow the steps and
by the way on top of that there's many
other things but start with that
start with that go home today put
yourself a a to-do list and start making
yourself a plan how you starting to
cover the little things that I said here
and what I said here it might be little
it can take a person a year to master
but that's that first of all regardless
to how much money you're going to make I
have a secret for you you have to do it
it's irrelevant if you're going to get
money or parasa or not everything that I
told you to do you are obligated in
doing it Whether it's birka mazabat
everything that I said here you have to
do it anyways.
So it's not that I'm telling you oh you
have to now invent new thing anyways you
are obligated in doing it. [snorts]
So do it with a good mood. Good do it
with a smile. Do it with the right
attitude. Put your mind to it. Don't
think that you have any control
of making more money than you're
supposed to.
The Balata, I don't remember where he
says that, whether it's maybe the rabbi
can help me, but the Balata says that
you can do some, of course, in his
words, you can do some assaults in the
air.
>> You're not going to make one dime more
than you're what you're supposed to.
Doesn't matter what you're going to do.
You need to do what you're supposed to
do and you'll make the money you're
supposed to. You'll get what you're
supposed to get. And in many of the
cases, you get 10% of what you're
supposed to get. But it's not that if
you work more or open another business
or I don't know what that you'll make
more money. You can make the exact same
amount with one transaction or make
triple the amount with one transaction.
Hashem has an issue with you with how to
make money if it's come is with one
check or 50 checks.
But you can't add anything. So if you
think you're going to run earlier from
the minan, I see the men who alen is
already without the already out the
door. Now I understand you have a job.
So pray in the minan that starts
earlier. Don't break that.
Okay? I don't know. Do whatever
arrangements you need to do. Don't run
away in the middle of
and thinking, "Oh, I'm going to I'll
catch up later. I'll finish my later
with all the excuses that I hear for." I
know all the excuses
and I know it's hard cuz you're eager to
get to but now it's time to finish your
prayer do your learning
do your pit go and eat and say
don't worry the world will wait don't
think that if you cut ma or you'll do mk
at home or you'll do whatever you have
in your mind because you have to run to
some meeting that that's what's going to
get you your paraza it's Hashem first
when he hashem is number one and
everything else is number two, then
you're following the instructions that I
said.
>> And at the bottom line, I don't know if
you paid attention between the lines
what I said, [snorts]
you have to do it anyways.
Everything that I mentioned here right
now, Hashem is kind of taking away your
lollipop
to make you do what you're supposed to
do. If you would have tons of money
right now, you wouldn't have any any
spiritual growth to maybe this much of
spiritual growth. Your spiritual grow
growth comes from pressure.
So, Hashem knows what he's doing. Now,
you just need to follow the rules. You
need to follow everything that I said if
you want to. Of course, it's not You
know what? I I take it back. Not if you
want to. You have to. Everything that I
said is obligated from the Torah. So I
actually just came to enlighten your
eyes to what you are already obligated
that you're not doing. And if after all
this you find that you still have
difficulties in parasa
then give me a call.
Then we'll discuss we'll see what's the
problem. I'm not joking with you but
let's see you first do that. And I
highly recommend and again I don't know
you're gonna have to follow me. I don't
know when it's going to start but very
soon we're going to start learning. I'm
going to start teaching all the laws of
Masot because I know nobody knows how to
do it and maybe maybe that will help Am
Israel and many others to to straighten
their their their life. So again, I will
very quickly repeat what I said for the
ones who didn't take the notes because I
want you to leave from this door tonight
with a change. And it's not about the
money. It's about what you're supposed
to do in front of Hashem. It's what
you're obligated. And by the way,
[snorts]
having a nephesh peace in your heart and
your mind from money, you'll see you'll
function in a completely different way.
You'll be nicer to your kids and your
wife or husband. You'll be an easier
person around. You'll be less uptight,
more relaxed. Why? Why? Why do you need
all the headache? You know that most of
the headache that you're dealing with,
it's your problem. It's not Hashem doing
anything. It's you are the idiot.
Excuse, excuse me that I'm saying that.
But you bang your head at the wall, you
get a headache and then you complain.
What's the wall doing here?
Well, you bang the head at the wall.
That's the pro. Most people they they
they cook their own meal. So So don't
complain a lot.
We are not only in an aspicious time of
Shabbat. We're in a very powerful time
in the month of next week is
what brings all the blessings. After
comes
the time in the year where you can
switch everything from bad to good.
Two weeks later,
one of the most powerful days on the
calendar. two weeks later pes we have
now two months that if you plant your
seeds the right way you'll have a very
successful year
and not only with parasa with your
health with your relationship with
Hashem with your relationship with other
people so
I can talk and talk and talk but you
have to do the walk you have to do
something I I come and I make the effort
and I bless you I bless you that all of
you should be able to apply everything
that we learned today with true joy and
happiness that each and every one of you
should be here the first year in line
here to open the synagogue and
everything should work for you in the
best way possible. I bless you that
Hashem should bestow you an unbelievable
abundance of everything and
but you have to do something. Hashem
wants you to do something. Time is
running out. The ga is around the
corner. You don't have much time to
figure all your all your little corners,
all your little details.
So my recommendation, go tonight. You
had your pizza. Hopefully you said
birkaton.
If you didn't,
>> then go no, go eat another piece right
now. Eat a little piece like this. So
you can say birkaton.
>> I'm not joking. If you missed the
blessing, you go now to the back and you
wash again and you eat a piece like
this. 28 grams. Okay. and say again
birkat and I guarantee to you
I'm not stam guaranteeing I guarantee to
you and I told you you have a problem
you call me I guarantee to you you
follow everything that I said here
tonight you're going to be doing very
well with your parnasa your life will be
smooth you know I'm not promising you to
be a millionaire I just said I'm going
to promise you you're going to have good
parnasa it will come easy it will come
calm you'll be calm you'll be happy
things will go how it's supposed to go
doesn't necessarily ly means a shea in
abundance and you start driving here
Mercedes is that's not what I'm talking
about but you're not going to worry the
pan will come the right way in the right
amount wherever you need will allow you
to serve him how he wants you to serve
him but you need to do that you need to
do the act you need to do the effort and
the rest you leave up to Hashem so what
is left for me to wish you success in
your new path and may Hashem bless you
with true happiness and bless you with
great parasa and bless you with
everything that you need to do to reach
your tun and I'm going to already reach
you because I'm all going to see you
soon. I'm going to already wish you and
I'm going to wish you happy and happy
and
I will see you very soon init. And if he
will not come anytime soon then we'll
see you in the next time I come here.
Thank you very much, Rabbi. Always
opening your doors to this shul. I
always feel home here and welcome. And
it's very rare, by the way. I travel all
around the world. Not every synagogue
and rabbis they open the door that most
synagogues don't like visitors rabbis
taking away the floor and the fame and
everything. So, you got to give a lot of
respect and honor and thanks to your
rabbi and to the community. And thank
you for always organizing everything.
And thank you all for showing up.
Without you, there wouldn't be a
lecture. And thank you everybody for the
ones online. Tomorrow morning, we have
another class. What is it? 9:00 a.m. 8
a.m.
>> Yeah, 8 a.m.
>> Around 8 a.m.
>> No, Shak is seven. So the pri the the
8:30 the class will be
