The secret of Adar Alef! What do we know about this 13th month? - Rabbi Alon Anava

[Music] this coming Shabbat is going to bees just that this year we have a little bit of a change since we are celebrating two months of Adar what is called a leap year sh every few years if we looking on our calendar an extra month is being added to the 12 months of the year which is of course Adar Al big question which one is added ad Al or ad is always the dominating one Al is the addition on a regular year Adar when there's only one Adar then there's no additions and there's no issue in the year in the leap year when there's two adars then the second Adar Adar bet is always going to be the original one so if somebody was born on on ad and it's two years and it's for B Mitzvah purposes and birthdays we always go by the original which will be a darit which again somebody contacted me not too long ago uh to do a certain event this coming next week for zadar the birthday of Moshe and I told him we're doing it the second Adar no no no we have to do it now I said but we're doing it on the second Adar that's the seventh ofar of mosu but nevertheless the second Adar is always going to be the original one what's interesting here is that this concept is called sh in Hebrew it's not called a leap year in Hebrew it's called the pregnant year which makes it a completely different ER focus and for sure a different meaning now what does it mean uh uh a pregnant year or pregnancy what what is the concept behind it that the month the months of the year on the Jewish calendar correspond to the moon it's called Moon months and why because they go by the cycle of the moon sometime the moon is full sometimes is Moon the month is full some time the month is missing so we'll have in the 29 days in the month and 30 days in the month but the months of the year and so forth they go in the cycle of the moon what happens is that the 12 months of a lunar cycle or lunar months they're not equal to Sun months the time of the Sun that is turning around is 365 days in the year and if you take the 12 months time them the 29 or the 30 days per month you don't get to 365 days so you're missing days if we're going together in a cycle of the moon and the sun together I'm talking about cycle when they turn around and complete a full cycle so lunar time is much less than suntime suntime is 365 days of the year so we're missing days every couple years we have to add a month to catch up on these days that's the concept of the sh and filling the the the missing days because if you calculate it with a calculator or with your head or it doesn't matter and you'll do the calculation in a year of the full months and the missing months 29 days and 30 days you're not going to get to 360 days 365 days in the year even if you have full months of 30 days that's already 360 days so you already missing five days and there's no such thing as full months every year we always have some months that are full some months that are not full I'm not talking about a full moon and a not full moon I'm talking about that we celebrate 30 days in the month and we celebrate 29 days in the month so the concept of the leap year or the sh is every few years to catch up to catch up that the days of the months the days and the months of the moon and the sun cycle we'll meet together okay very simple now behind that stands a a secret of course a a mystical secret a message and this is of 19 years that within the 19 years there's always going to be seven leap years and there's a a a set order it's not that it changes so it's every third year every six year every 8 years every 11 years 14 17 and 19 that's the the the the order and it never changes Now by 19 we not going to get a full answer why 19 but we're going to get some hints here that are pretty interesting about the cycle of 19 19 is the numerical value of the name Kaba the first woman that was ever pregnant in this world so we already see some type of a concept of pregnancy already corresponding and connected to the first woman in the world okay that's the first thing now why is it a h looked at or H called pregnancy okay could have been called many other things but specific L pregnancy so the the year of the moon and the year of the sun they're not together but when they meet like a man and a woman then there's pregnancy so there's some type of I and impregnation when the moon and the sun meet together beyond that comes even a more interesting question out of nowhere we're getting another month now if you've been following me and I'm sure uh some other teachers online and or you learn yourself when we learn about the months in the last decade they always explain for every month is a certain energy a certain sign from the Zodiac corresponding to one of the tribes corresponding to one of the senses and a letter that creates the the month through theph I mean I mean so many things that are set for each month and we know that each month is a total different total different colorful colorful entity so I don't know where we're getting a 13th month now comes up all the questions how how are we suddenly adding this addition that seems completely not in order and now what's going to happen is AD Al created with the same letter that what says that is created which tribe what's the sense so something's like kind of stuck in between out of nowhere we don't do anything much different on a leap created the month of so again we see here another interesting hint because if you're counting on the alphabet the letter K what number is it on the alphabet 19 if we're already stuck on the 19 then might as well be stuck on the 19 the whole way so the letter K that creates created the the month of AD happens to be the 19th letter on the alphabet if you count it now we do know that and again based on the teachings of seph that the the emotion the sense of the month of ad is laughter to to remind the ones who maybe weren't in the classes but we we are familiar with five senses really there are 12 senses and every months has a sense that is connected to that months and the sense that's connected to ad is laughter now what do we get we get 60 days of laughter instead of 30 days of Happiness we get 60 nothing wrong now if we're going one month back to the month of shat the letter that was used to create the month ofat is the letter sadik okay every month has a letter the secret of the connection of is very interesting the uh 19th letter on the alphabet isad is K that means that the 18th letter on the alphabet is sadik if you put them together 18 and 18 and 19 then you get a numerical value of 37 which is the numerical value of the name Heaven the son OFA the first well not the first but the one of the first born CH children of Kaba and more than that if you take the sadik of shat and you connect to it the K of Adar because they're back to back right ad shat finishes Adar enters so the the sadik and the K are connected the sense of ad is laughter so when you put in between these months another element then you get the laughter and what's the element is the letter the letter why the letter why I can add why because when you laugh at least in Hebrew what do you do right right even now in our generation that everything is abbreviations and emojis and all that one time I sent a message to my daughter and she sent me three KS back like and I was like that other people fall and and things happen and and the reality is that people are constantly looking to some type of a uh happiness now if you don't get happiness true happiness from your soul then you look for nonsense to give you a quick laugh to make you happy for 3 seconds and that's it so it's not real laughter or definitely not good laughter and uh really the reality is that smartest man in history says clear that laughter in many times can be negative SCH says in Co chapter 2 verse 2 of laughter I said it is mingled and concerning Joy what does this accomplish so according to SCH this this laughter is not such a good thing it's not such a good thing where do you get a certain example that it's not good you know a man a woman they work hard they finish their job at 6:7 in the evening that's a kind of customary in many many places in the world where do they go to the bar to the bar to get a few drinks and relax and talk and that's pretty normal in most countries in Israel it's not so normal it's not such a we don't have alcoholic ER attitude in Israel but in many other places that I lived that's a normal thing I lived in Canada that was a normal thing I lived in Australia total normal thing I lived in Denmark total normal thing you finish work you go to the bar you drink 12 Beers come home like that so you can deal with reality and what do you do with in the bar you laugh okay so that's uh one example out of many that the laughter can be negative in many times in Our Generations it's less of ours it's more Netflix and other stuff like that people come home glued to a screen and they they need to be entertained by fake shows so what we need to make a very important point is that laughter is a very important and good thing but laughter can also be H negative where do we also see that laughing in the Torah is a negative thing if you're going to the story of Ishmael and and and if you remember that Ishmael was a bad influence of on it and Sarah didn't like that came to abrah aino and told him get rid of this woman and what does it say in the Torah that is and is was now when you're reading it it sounds like oh great he was having fun no no no no no ishma was doing illegal immoral and bad things and the Torah called it he's doing jokes and it's it's kind of funny because in in the Hebrew the slang is when you want to make fun of somebody or when you're doing something that is it can be legal immoral or just not the right thing in Hebrew it's called to make laughter you know in English it's the you don't hang out with a friend say hey let's let's make laughter won't make sense in Hebrew that's how you would say let's H do like uh mischievous things or bad things it's called let's do funny things or let's do so the Torah also called the interaction of and is is as laughter negative another placees you find in the Tor in the golden cfel look in the Tor it says the same thing it's calling it like when you you you making fun of something so first red light that you need to understand that not everything that causes you to laugh is healthy and good H in general laughter is a very important thing it's important to laugh every day you do whatever you need to do that you make sure that you laugh either you tell tell of jokes or watch a show that makes you laugh or whatever it is it's extremely important to laugh and to be in a joyful State and I can tell you already that in all the bad situations that I was ever in I went out of it with with humor and la and laughter and I don't need to tell you how many researches and and and information are out there how joy and laughter helps a sick person a person in a bad situation so laughter is very very good but we're now focusing on laughter that is negative so when I want to acquire we'll call it now positive laughter which you can call it Joy you can call it happiness you can call it however you want I will choose to call it positive happiness or positive laughter because I can be very very very happy which if you focus on me being very very happy I can be very happy both from something negative and something positive normal is that you're happy from something positive but how many times are you happy because you heard something negative about something else somebody else then you're very happy if somebody would ask you why are you happy right now and you would have to title it you would say some did a car accident and that's what's making you happy well I hate the person that did the accident so it makes me extremely happy so that's not positive laughter this is not something positive I see somebody falling on the floor and breaking their their their bones and happens to me that I dislike them so I'm happy the Mish tells you don't rejoice when your enemy fall okay don't go that way don't don't go that there that you are wishing for something bad to happen to your enemy and your enemy can be your mother I'm not talking about I'm talking individual I want to be happy and joyful so I will constantly look for for for that and by the way 50 to 90% of your actions in your life Life is In Search Of Happiness so that in itself is a big I don't even know how to define it cuz what I was about to say is not not wouldn't come out nice in English in Hebrew it's how we would say it in English you have to excuse me but uh running constantly after happiness that's as they say in slang a a big but and that's the reality is most people run all day long after happiness and it doesn't matter how they do it legal illegal moral imoral good bad according to the Torah permitted in the Torah it doesn't matter most of our actions every day every week every month is pursuing happiness looking for happiness nobody wants to be sad nobody wants to be depressed and we all have that depending of course of the elemental structure of the soul of each one of us but a person that has a very dominating element of Earth in their n they're going to be their tendency is going to be going for depression and sadness like sand that you put in water the sand always goes down the element of Earth always will pull a person down and we all have it it's not that one is different than the other one have more and some have less and then of course it depends on the surrounding of the person and how much chemical imbalance they have in their body from all the junk they're being they they consumed in the last 50 years of their life needless to say chemicals radiation food and the rest of the junk that we are attacked with one would not be surprised that half the world are depressed not because something wrong with them it's because all the elements that are being opposed on us that will cause a person to be depressed that's it that's part of the goal by the way to get the whole world numb so they can sell them the magic potion to make you happy whether it's ZX or whatever it is ecstasies it doesn't matter it's the fact that I need something to make me happy for 10 hours and then I run after another one and it doesn't matter if it's chemicals if it's a from the earth doesn't it doesn't matter if it's it's swallowed in a pill or inheld with a drag it doesn't matter most most people in the world need something to focus themselves in a way of being relaxed calm happy and content I'm not pointing fingers at anybody in Fr trying to find who's guilty we're placing a fact that the majority of people are not really happy uh they blame it of course of what happens around them I don't have money I don't have a spouse I don't have kids I don't have a place to live I don't have this I don't have that that's the blame to why I'm not happy which of course can cause you to be very uncomfortable but I I I I I was homeless for half a year I wasn't unhappy I was in situations that are very bad I was in a uh not in a good place but not unhappy or depressed your physical situation can affect your happiness but shouldn't and doesn't have to you choose what affects your reality I mean literally I've been in places in my life that one should jump out of a window but I didn't never let it affect my inner peace which if you have Inner Peace by default you're happy and if you are that centered you are happy even with the bad things cuz you understand that's the path you have to walk on to get to the next station to the next step that's what you need to do so the right attitude is to seek for the true laughter I can make you laugh now in a second if you want right you've been to enough classes you know that if I let go I'll make you laugh that was my job for the last 50 years I was always the how do you say the the what pound that's for sure my poor my poor teachers what I used to do I used to crack the the class up you can't even imagine how far I would go but but H now I was about to say something else now I lost my Chain of Thought but I I I I I might seem like a very serious individual I'm I'm I'm not uh yeah Class Clown ER I I always looked for exciting things that as we say in Hebrew is let's laugh like real laugh it's sad that in our generation the laughter comes through through a screen it's on one way it's a genius plan for the ones who planned it but it's sad to see that that's where people get their happiness now if it's not from a stupid video in Tik Tok of a a person falling from a I don't know what from on a bicycle or whatever whatever junk they have there so if that's not your thing then you get peace and your entertainment from all these shows on Netflix they're done geniusly unbelievable stories quality I I can easily see how people are glued to the screen all day long and now every now and then I I deep my legs in cold water to see what's going on I see how Netflix can be the the center of a life of a person needless to say what junk ideas are being implanted in that person person but nevertheless so we can continue one needs to constantly focus on how do I find that positive laughter if you're sad right now cuz you got fired or your boyfriend left you or you lost money or whatever it is H some people will go to find their their uh happiness right away to a meal chocolate whatever it is another person will go to drugs another person will go to another woman every person will go to wear their getting their fix so to say but very few will say how can I get true happiness so I can forget about the event that just happened the loss of the money the loss of a loved one whatever it is where do you go then you have to go to the source and of course the source is the Torah there's no other way to find the source for anything so if we're going to the Tor as a source what is the source of laughter in the Torah our forefather first time that laughter is mentioned in the Torah s says that in the laughter made for me in his in his name 75% of the name is laughter move the you have so the source of laughter in the Torah is which is a little bit of an irony because Corr unbelievable Joy to the World joy happiness and so forth so laughter comes in connection with the first birth of saru our first matri not that we already passed that but the first B first birth birth of Sarah so Sarah is our beginning of our chain our first matriarch that's the first birth in the Jewish Nation okay let's call it the first birth in the Jewish Nation that's and to top on that that's not a regular pregnancy that's not a 30-year-old woman having a child that's a 90-year-old woman having a child getting pregnant from a 100y old man that's not a regular birth that's not a regular having a child coming out stuck in your body for 9 months okay the first few months you don't feel it but the the other half being stuck with that overweight cargo bumping into things can't sleep it's like you can't even see your feet feet and then pushing it out so H but nevertheless H every time I would look look at my wife's face and see Joy like real joy and she would like stick it into me she was like you'll never feel that Joy I was like I don't need to feel this joy in Hebrew we say when we're talking about a a bee don't give me your honey and don't give me your sting okay so I don't need this Joy famous verse in that we read we're going to read ones of explaining us the joy of a mother is of course chapter 113 what we read in Hallelujah right the the the he seats Barren women of the House of the house as a happy mother of children 113: 99uah referring to this deep joy that a mother gets after delivering the child now when we want to find the positive laughter then I need to know how to recognize the negative laughter if not I will be confused and swallow the wrong pill how do I recognize empty laughter or or this negative laughter that it's called emptiness there's nothing there there there's a as as a coet will say heaven it's air that's how you recognize the negative laughter if it doesn't have anything behind it says in in chapter 7 verse six he says for the sound of the Thorns under the pot so is the laughter of the fool and this too is Vanity and again I'm not so crazy about the English how it said in lash KES is the right way that the the this L this laughter is Vanity and if you're looking at most of the things that causes people happy happiness and joy in this life is Vanity is a new handbag for $1,500 or new shoes for9 900 shekels or whatever it is there's nothing wrong with buying nice clothes I also wear nice clothes but I won't spend five times five times the much the the the the the amount because it has a name on it or some logo or something like that and how many people find their joy and happiness with buying new clothes and all the accessories that come with that and again nothing wrong with spoiling yourself nothing wrong with being dressed beautiful and there's definitely nothing wrong with wearing expensive clothes that means you're wearing good quality but it all has to be done in a normal manner in a normal manner the other day I don't know even where it was somebody bought something I don't remember what they told me this shirt is 1500 shekels okay that's exaggerating 1,500 shekels for a t-shirt 400 shekels for a beautiful dress shirt 1,500 shekels for a dress for t-shirt cuz it had a name on it that's the vanity dressed nice is not vanity the problem is that our life is surrounded with this vanity with this nonsense all day long I'm not going to give you enough example sorry I'm not going to give any examples you you you if you don't see that then then that's already a problem the true happiness that you're seeking for by the way is the birth of something new you seek happiness you have to seek for a birth of something new that's where the happiness will be if you are not feeling happiness right now from the fact that you're breathing or that you are alive or that you can walk or that you have teeth and you can chew or they can have you have eyes and you can see and you have kids or a house to live in or or whatever job you have if you're not jumping up and down from that you have a serious issue with yourself but I'm nobody to intervene in your life but if I'm already looking for happiness then I need to search for New Beginnings for something new that was born and to do that I have to uh jump out of my Dimension and to go into a different type of Dimension the dimension that is called time now I'm not in the dimension of time because I'm bound to it if I'm bound to time then I'm not in that Dimension imagine how you jump into the dimension of time a different reality okay the dimension of time that's the what's called sod The Secret of this impregnation and I'll explain explain myself but when I I had 20 plus years ago my own H experience one of the first dominating things that I felt after feeling my soul jumping out of my body and go to all my videos I is it's not something that I'm inventing you'll hear me saying that forbid in every lecture that one of the first things that I felt is that there's no time the first thing that I felt there was complete darkness there was nothing no no existence wasn't Darkness black it was just darkness now will come not nothing I mean so when I first left my body the first thing that hit me besides the darkness that was wasn't any time and we are stuck in this reality that is called time that I'm controlled by time time doesn't stop you can't catch the time the a second ago is already the past at the moment that maybe wasn't even never existed who said that the past ever existed maybe you're only living in the present and in the future and so there's no past right okay I'm not going to now drive you crazy with so Thoughts with no with no Solutions we are not in a dimension that is called time because if I was in the dimension of time I would be able to relate or near minimum control the time so I have to go into the dimension of time to understand two things a that I'm not in that Dimension but B The Secret of a giving birth to new things and it's not only children can be a business idea can be a relationship that just started you just birthed a relationship it was never existed Moshe and never knew each other and now they met and they birth a new relationship something that never existed in the world the relationship between these two people but the trick here is that to give birth into new things has to be in this reality because I can give birth to new things in my mind all day long in Hebrew it's called diot all these imaginations all day long how are you going to win the lottery huh we all have that come on come on we all have that how I win the lottery and I come and then then they're and I'm like wow what am I going to do with the money and after an hour you fantasizing you didn't even remember to buy even a ticket but everybody's living in these fantasies all day long so you're not in the dimension of time you're in the dimension of fantasies and most people live in fantasy land or as it would be called in Hebrew di not imagining things now you have the imagination of how much you want to be rich and the Beautiful house you want to live in and the gorgeous husband that is just going to come and sweep you off your legs with that Convertible Mercedes these are the DI sh but then there's also the Deon this this this imagination that she's talking behind my back and he's cheating on me and he's trying to cheat me out of my money all day long these imaginations in my mind and what is birthed from that everything but happiness so the birthing to birth something new has to be in this reality reality not in this imaginated reality now don't be offended I'm including myself here too most of us imagine things all day long that are not connected to the reality there's a very fine line when you are a dreamer when you think of things and you develop them that's a whole different things everybody made fun of me when I was a little kid you know that I'll confess now it didn't hurt me emotionally okay I'm not emotionally broken from that but everybody laughed at me when I was a kid you'll never make it you're not good you really think you're going to do that which I didn't care luckily I have a personality that I don't care what people think luckily but the reality is that almost everything that I did in my life it doesn't matter from where it came from it it was marked okay which is in one way good gave me the drive to say okay I'll show you not nothing here to argue we'll live and we'll see so there's nothing wrong to have a a dreamy attitude if it's in this reality that I'm not going into imaginations that will never happen and when I said I'm including myself I also Imagine in my mind a lot of things like you most people imagine all day longs but I'm saying imagining it can be wishes can be prayers can be and I'm saying about wishes about very very simple things vanity things not wishes that I wish now for the the Redemption to happen talking about basic day to day I'm jumping into your brain right now and analyzing that we're all thinking all day long of this di di it won't happen won't happen and I was a teenager I was in love with a beautiful girl and I used to look at her every day I never walked up to her and at some point I was like it's not going to happen she's not going to look at me I'm not her type I only 14 don't go far with that but nevertheless it won't happen at some point I understood it won't happen stop dreaming of her you need to sometimes realize this is a dream or this is an imagination it
