Very simple. Somebody gives you now a business opportunity. You don't need to be now a Warren Buffett for the matter. Somebody comes and gives you a good business opportunity, good business advice and you count on that person. If we take the last letter of each word then we have 40 40 days significant to you that from the beginning of I have 40 days 40 days to set so to say up set up the coming year. The better I do it the more effort I put the year will be in that level. the same famous cliche how you set your bed that's how you're going to sleep or in how our sages say you toiled you're going to have what to eat that's the path I'm walking on in this world I want to work in this world so in the for eternity I will reap the reward that's the purpose we spoke about it yesterday my purpose in this life is not to be rich, famous, healthy, whatever. It's very nice for me to dedicate my life to certain things, but my purpose in life is to reach to closeness with Hashem. We concluded that in yesterday's lecture. That's my purpose in life. If I'm not going directly to my purpose by finding my closeness, my k my unity with Hashem, you're wasting your time. You're literally wasting your time. I don't have what to add on that. You won't find success. opportunities won't come so easy. Life will be very very bumpy. Definitely you won't find any peace or happiness in your heart. And why why why bother? Why figure out right now that my purpose is to serve the master of the universe and really is to find this closeness and this unity with Hashem. Everything else will work out how Hashem wants it to work out. So first of all when we're looking at the secrets of within the name of the month as we know and many other acronyms but first I would like to focus on that the first hint is that I have 40 days you have 40 days right now by the way you don't have 40 days right now we have 21 days because we're already in day 19 so hopefully you are really in the day 19 and if not okay so you have double the weight because you have now to catch up two days but nevertheless you can still catch up. Next, there's another acronym that is connected to the month of for the name and it comes from a verse in the book of the and it says and Hashem will remove the foreskin of that is on your heart and from the heart of your children and offsprings and all the rest of the generations. and the acronym inside is the acronym of so what does that come to teach us that inul there's a time an aspicious time to remove the kipot and before I explain further the time in alul is what's called kipot it's a time to remove the kipa I'll explain the second thing that I need to focus on is cleaning it's the time for cleaning. So the importance of acts of kindness charity and it's not only giving money I know for some people giving money is a little bit challenge in these hard times. So give small increments. You don't have to give now so big. It's the it's the concept. It's not the quantity rather than the quality. It's the the he it's that you break it up. You find a little bit here, a little bit here, a little bit here. This organization that they feed poor people, they learn Torah, they help. You know what I mean? Invest put your your money in like in the stock market. You invested in all these shares. And you want to do that, but it's more about the acts of kindness. is that I'm going to be there for you. And you have to think, when was the last time I was there for somebody? My wife, my parents, my kids, my neighbor, a person who sits next to me in the synagogue, even a random person, and even a stranger. So, we're learning here that first of all, I have 40 days to focus on. Second of all, very good time now to start shedding all the junk, cleaning everything, and setting everything up for the next year. Then I understand through that that also acts of kindness is a must. And part of my refinement is included in all these acts of kindness because if I decide that I have a little bit of a temper and I want to work on my temper. I want to work on my anger. I want to work on my, you know, snapping and I really want to work on myself cuz I see that it's ruining my schlomite, my relationship with my wife and it's putting not the right education on my kids and it's putting me in bad situations and I need to get rid of it. One might say it's not even a sin or mitzvah from the Torah which is is but nevertheless once the person wants to refine themselves why to better the energy in the house to be a better person a more cal then that's an act of kindness so you can have you can look at many different ways how you applying these acts of kindness in alul and all the dots I'll connect them at the end of the class and you'll understand why we're talking about that with that said we are also familiar with the concept which you heard many times and right now the king is in the field and I'm sure you heard many beautiful explanations and angles to interpret it the king of course we're talking about the master of the universe what is less clear his what what does it mean the field last year I gave a beautiful a beautiful twist uh combined for many different uh rabbis and sages and very interesting books that the field is a place where you work and the idea here is that uh you need to work throughout the month of Aul and the master of the universe wants to show by example so he's also in the field he's lowering himself like you need to lower yourself and humble yourself and so forth and I gave a very long explanation cabalistically saying I want to give a little angle and the approach approach of Kabala. I want to enjoy food. I want I want I want I want to control. I want everyone to like me. I want everybody to look at me. And that's very superficial. My entire disposition is all my drives, all my desires, all my lusts, it's all for me. The more you are involved with yourself, needless to say, you'll be more a person full of gava and pride, barely any humility, very hard person to get along with. For you, very hard person to live with yourself. I was like that. I know what it is. But that's the that's really the concept of how much do I want and the result says there are four levels where you can place yourself. Needless to say you start with the lowest where you just want to swallow the world. That's a person that has no connection to the kadosh. He wants to eat. He eats. He wants to procreate. He procreatates. He wants something. He sees it. He takes it. Whether it's by theft, whether it's by stealing, it doesn't matter. I have a will. I have a desire. I have lust. It's going to be answered. And this is called. And one of the major components in my refinement and on my path in this world is to control this. And not only to control it, to submit it, to subdue it, to direct it to the right direction. That my desire to receive is not food or any other physical pleasure is something else. and we'll talk and I'll elaborate on that shortly after. But let me explain shortly what the result says. So he says there are four levels that you can place yourself in regards to the and that corresponds to all four levels of the soul starting from the lowest then four levels that you can place yourself. There is another level in what's called no information, not too much knowledge, not too much to know about it. And he says that corresponds to the the highest level of the nama. So, I'm telling you this, you can learn a lot about Hashem from this car. But nevertheless, because you know, you go into the car, you just the car just drives for you. Nevertheless, we need to understand that I need to refine this concept, this desire to receive and to constantly grow and bring myself to a higher level that this desire and this is under control. You go to the airport, the platinum platinum platinum members, they get to sit in the VIP lounge, which of course is all fancy, beautiful food and all the the rest. And then the regular people, they sit in some regular lounge. Okay? So you have different chambers where you sit. So there are it's four aspects in the dimension of a person of Adam. body sorry soul body garment and heal soul of course they don't need to explain to you body you know what it is garments is the garments that you dress your soul with your thoughts with your speech with your actions with your sins with your mitzvot that you do and then there's this chamber in the chamber it will open into another four aspects if you need to visualize it in your mind like in windows. You open one opens more windows. You open one opens more windows, more dimensions, more aspects of everything in this world. In the aspect in this dimension of which means chamber there are four madrito four I would say to choose instead of madriot which is a level to to choose to say four aspects of the chamber. The first one is called bite house. There's a significance to what's called bite. Where do we learn that from? When the king is in his regular place where is the king he's in the in the chamber. When Hashem sits in this chamber, very difficult to enter the chamber. You need suchot such merits to be such an exceptional soul to be able to go into the chamber. With that said, that's the same difficult difficulty when I need to bridge into a back to Hashem. When I'm doing chuva, when I'm repenting and I'm doing chuva, I need to bridge to Hashem. If he's in the chamber in the will be very difficult. Of course, you start understanding that when the king is in the field but it's I don't need to work so hard to be exposed to the king. When the king is in the chamber in the hard to reach when the king is in the field very easy to reach 40 days of the month of I have a shine. It's expanding my consciousness right now. some much greater needless to say a higher level of spirituality and that's this that it's referring to and this concept of goes much much deeper but on the month of this light is in a form of expansion that's why it's called the month of mercy because the light that shines down to the world and I explained that many many times every month has a different energy every day has a different energy on Shah everything is going to be decided from top to bottom from humans then animals vegetations everything is decided on Sha Jews non-Jews animals creatures everything is decided on Roshana who's going to live who's going to die which country is going to make money which country is going to be at war who's going to be rich who's going to be poor everything is decided shah do you understand what's happening in less than two weeks and then of course there's a time for us to refine it and but on everything is decided. So the shine this this light that comes down to the world comes down differently every month and of course every day. Every day has a certain energy. You can call it an energy or hey this shine this expansion of your consciousness and you can tap into it. Every day something different and every Shabbat has its own energy and every has its energy and every month has its own the energy of the month. How is the energy decided dictated? Hashem takes his name and every month there's a different combination of the letters. The first month, the month of Nissan, the combination how it's written you and then a hand and above and then a Hashem projects his endless light, his infinite light through this mold of the letters. And imagine now if I project light on the wall and I would put an obstacle between the light and the screen or the reflecting surface, what will be the result? that the object that is stopping the light from reflecting on the object will create a shadow on the on the reflecting object. Very simple. You don't have to be here a a genius, right? Simple. We were kids in the in the theater when I was a kid. There was a projector of light. Everybody would raise their hands and make shapes and you would see the shape on the wall. That's what happens. Hashem projects his godly light and he puts a filter in between like the hands. The filter is you in the hand. You v it in the hand. And of course in our mind hard to picture what that means. But what is reflected on the surface by the object that is stopping the light that's what will determine the energy of the month. And of course it's much more complex from what I said now. But every month the combination changes. Starts with a youth and a hand. A vow and a hand and a v and a hand. A you and a hand. It changes 12 combinations. So in the combination of alul in the month of alul the the light is in expansion. It's just like all over the place. The whole year it's it's contained and in it's you just need to tap in very easy to get close to the light. So 40 days this light is expansion very easy to approach the king. And this is why it's called the days of mercy because now the king listens to you. He hears you. He's not you don't have to go through all the how do you say the bureaucracy. You didn't see that your brother was in agony for 10 years. You didn't see that he was begging. You don't see that that's what's going to heal the little pain, the little blood. But it brings healing. It brings him back to life. Now, can we understand that in our human mind? Why we need to go through suffering from that? No. And you won't understand. certain things, certain harot are not for me to reveal. I need to look in my world and my world when there's a concealment of Hashem, I can't find my other half. But next day, I came back to class and I told the students, "You couldn't tell me that I look like an antenna. You couldn't just go to me like give me a hint mime to me or tell me rabbi you know maybe you should fix your nobody you all sitting here looking at me and you letting me talk and nobody have you had the sense to tell me you know look at yourself. Therefore I welcome when people tell me when I do something wrong. small. You cannot do. You'll never be able to do that. You need another person to tell you where you fail. If you think you can handle it yourself, you can't. Can you see what's here? No. You need somebody to tell you. No. Maybe I said something wrong. Maybe I did something wrong. Trust me, I did a lot of uh chine in my mind. I came to the conclusion my heart is clean. I didn't do nothing to this person. I don't know why. I don't know who. I don't I didn't do nothing. I'm good. That's it. I'm clean. Why is it so important for you to live by that? It's the cameras and they don't know no policemen, no nothing. They just send you the ticket to the to the mail. Same thing here in this world. You do anything that you do here. You lie, you cheat, you slander, you steal, whatever, boom, right away they write you a ticket. The the the the system, the godly system, they write you a citation and they send it to you. You failed, you have to pay the penalty. Exactly like you get in tickets. That's what happens to you. So every time you do something, you get a ticket. The biblical term to it is called din judgment. You are called to judgment. You lie. Ding. You just said you have a lawsuit. You must know how many lawsuits you have in the heavenly courts. Tens of thousands. Yes. >> For every time that you lied, for every time that you slandered, for every time that you did anything, right away there's a lawsuit. Now, that's the terminology we can relate with a lawsuit because they did something illegal. The Torah calls it din. You're called to hearing. Now, what do you have to say? You're guilty. You plead guilty. We'll lower the sentence. You plead not guilty. What is your proof? This happens to you all day long every day. And needless to say on Shah, you're judged. It's not a strong chuva. The sin still exists. It's in the trash, but it exists and at any given moment it can be pulled out. The next level is called a high level chuva. That's when you delete the files from the trash. If you can't retrieve it, that's it. It's gone. That's the cha you need to reach that you delete it. That's how you can delete din remove judgments. But nevertheless, the month of the light that is shining in the month of has the ability to nullify judgments. Unbelievable. Now that I understand all this, I know what's the opportunity as a good investor on Rosh Shana. That's the time for me to set the new page. Everything is decided. The next year I will make millions and millions and millions. Anything I'm just giving example with money because everybody likes money but it can be with health can be with your relationships your spiritual growth your anything. Most people don't internalize what h what's happening in 11 days. In 11 days you can reset the system. You can bring the system into factory mode how it's original and then convince Hashem that next year I want to be healthy. I want to be happy. I want my pan to be good. I want to get married. I want to have a good relationship. I want to have more time with my kids. I want to work on myself. I want to learn Torah. I want I want I want I want. That's how powerful the month of Aul. You can't do it in one day. You have to spread it out. And that's how powerful of course is if you are understanding what's happening on that day according to how I prepare the vessels that's the amount and the quantity of the light that will be placed in the vessels the let me translate it or say it in its original term how you prepared your vessel That's going to be the size of the shine. Very simple. You have one cup, that's what you're going to get. You have a bucket, you'll get more. You have a van, you can take more. You have a truck, much more, but you have you need to have khim, you need to have vessels, which means that you need to prepare the vessels on on not on shahash. That's how simple it can be. And I like focusing that I I I like getting rid of bad things. That's how I know that I grow further. If I have bad habits physically, emotionally, whatever it is, I want to get rid of things. If I have a certain sin I want to get rid of. We all have that. Everybody has a certain sin or 10 that they want to get rid of. They already in the level that they want to get rid of. And uh through the month of alul I have the opportunity that when I want to get rid of a certain sin I won't be first of all I won't be able to get rid of the sin till I get rid of the kipa. And let's say just to for the sake of the example, it's much easier to work with example. Let's say a person says, I want to guard my eyes. I feel that I fail all the time with my eyes. Direct commandment from the Torah. Don't look to the wrong directions. Men not to look at inappropriate places. For women, it applies too. But women, it's looking in other other women. And I'm jealous. She's more pretty. She has nicer hair. She has nicer this. Her husband is more rich. And so forth. Don't look at something else. Practice that. And I and of course it's much more than that and I say you know what I want to get rid I want to control that I want to get rid of and I why because I fail all the time it will not work unless you break the kipah if you do not break the kipa you won't be able to get rid of the sin because the kipaha is the one who drives you to do it feeds off the sin it's the drug dealer it's the I don't want to say a few other not nice terms but the kipa will make you do the sin because that's what it feeds off. If you want to get rid of the sin, you got to get rid of the kipa. When you cannot get rid of the sin, the kipa is stuck like a clogged pipe in the drain. Doesn't nothing goes in, nothing goes out. And I just said it can be with many other things that each and every one of you battles. one person it can be one person is being judgmental another person is stealing and cheating and whatever it is listen I don't believe that there's a person here that doesn't have something that they need to get rid of I have a long list from here till tomorrow so I'm sure you have a fair share too of things that if you humble enough you realize that it's wrong that it's the wrong thing to do and you feel it in your kishk that's the thing that is stopping you from your success. Whether it's a lie that you're hiding, whether it's a certain thing that you did, you cheated your partner, whatever it is, everybody has their sin that they want to get rid of, that they have to get rid of. So the rule is that you cannot do that unless you get rid of the kipa. You have to dismant you have to completely break the kipa that is holding that sin. And once you break the kipa, first of all, you have to understand the kipa pulls everything. It's like a tick. It takes all your energy, all your power, all your all your light. But once you break the kipah, it stops. And you want to to transform the kipah this power into light into. But you have to first get rid of the kipa. Now when I got rid of the kipa, I can transform my life. I don't know uh each and every one of you. But did you ever feel that you transformed something in your life? If you said yes, good. If you said no, you don't know what you're missing. But you have to strive to change things in your life. And Hashem will put you in situations that are not appropriate or not good or whatever it is. And in many of the cases, it's not about being being inappropriate. It just puts you in a situation. That is negative and it's affecting you negative. And then he wants you to do a drastic action and change your life. Quit smoking, quit drugs or alcohol, stop a bad habit that you were fighting for years, stealing, cheating, whatever it is. But when you want to see your growth, you want to see how you're getting rid of bad things that you're changing your life. I know it sounds maybe a little bit pathetic to say, but some people change it. And I feel like a changed man. Yeah, a change man. When I look at the mirror, I'm a changed man. I'm a different man. I constantly look back 25 years ago. I see pictures. I see what it's a different person. same person but there's the many aspects of my life that I changed I I I got rid of it so I have to understand that in certain situations I can switch to switch my life completely if I feel that I'm a failure in business that can change it's not necessarily my mazal maybe it is but uh you want to change your life you want to better your life if I'm like not such a good a student and and I want to change that. I want to learn more. I want to pray more. I want to better my Hebrew. I want to learn the Torah in a better way. Whatever it is, I'm just trying to give you some examples. But whatever I want to change in my life, now is the time. Now in alul in the next 11 days. Why? It bothers me I don't get up in the morning to pray. Okay, in 11 days you can change it. It bothers me that I work very hard for my pan. I want to work five hours a day and make a little bit of money and learn Torah. Whatever bothers you. That's why you cannot do that in on Shah and definitely not the day before. You're not going to have enough room in the driveway. I'm going to give you 17 cars. Your driveway is only three cars. What are you going to do with the other cars? Where are you going to park them? You think you need to be dating that individual or married to that individual or hooked up with this partner or walk down that path and you don't even know that you are completely not on the right path. You're unhappy, never find peace, no success, opportunities close in your head, in your face, and you're either too ignorant or afraid to change. In most of the cases is ignorant, not afraid. So to conclude, now you have an opportunity in the next 11 days that you don't want to miss because in 11 days the doors of opportunities close. You know that somebody turned to me not too long ago with an opportunity, a financial opportunity. They met a great financial opportunity, but it came with a time frame. Only in the next x amount of time, the x amount of people can get into this opportunity. If you're smart, then you see the opportunity and you how do you say seize the opportunity. >> Seize. But after you understand, hopefully you do the opportunity then has to be the action. And then the action that you have in the next 11 days is setting out up your priorities with the great question is what do you really want? And when you answer the question the right way, then you set your priorities. And the same way that right now if the biggest temptation or something is going to be present as an opportunity, you will break walls to get to your desire. And if I mix it with chocolate, a party in my mouth. Is there a sin to drink coffee and to dip chocolate in it? No. Is it good for me? I don't know. I'll find you all the researchers that tell you that coffee is healthy if I if you want. So why can't I just drink like 15 cups a day coffees a day? because it's a desire that doesn't have any benefit to it. I don't there's no benefit to it. There's no from coffee unless I say that's my only benefit that I was able to say. The idea here is to put the desire on a leash. I want 10 cups. Okay, so get two. Don't have to get everything that you want. And when you know to control a small desire, then the big big challenge is you know how to do it because it's already in the fingertips. You know how to say no, no, no, no. Push, push, push the desire. So all this is great, but you need the khim that you prepare in. And now is the opportunity. And whatever is left for you to do is to decide what you really want. You decide. Nobody will decide for you. Hashem won't decide for you. I know you want to have a successful year. I know you want to get married and have good healthy kids and have money and for your business to work and to achieve your dreams and to fulfill your wish. I know we all want the same thing. You have nothing in there. You have no decision. Hashem will decide how much he's going to give you, when, and how. You just need to do your part. And trust me, when Hashem gives presents, he gives them in an abundance, much more than what you can handle. You'll see that you'll gain much more when you putting all your effort and work to serving Hashem. And Hashem just takes care of everything completely. Takes care of everything. Everything will take be taken care of for you. You don't have to put too much effort. So I will uh will leave you now with the the big question that needs to echo in your mind and how you going to apply that is what you really want. Decide what you really want and when you really want something go and get it. You will be able to do it. Hashem will allow you to do it and he will make you successful as long as you remember that he's number one and you're number two. and your real desire is to do what he wants and he will fulfill your needs in the way that he wants to give it to you and trust me he does it in the best way possible and I will conclude with an extreme and maybe not such a good example but I'll give you the concept few years ago there was a situation with a certain individual and it became very very bad and my physical desire my animalistic pardon me wasn't so happy with the action this group of people did to a point that it really actually because what they did was very bad towards me and my family and there was a spark of animalistic desire for revenge and I was like okay I can do this I can do that I have all the options I can do that I can go to the police I can go to courts I mean I had options of revenge I want to see they hurt me now they need to pay now usually Usually I don't act impulsive especially when there's a strong desire for something. I as they say go sleep on it and very quickly I presented myself the situation and I reverse engineer like the the lawyer with the car and I reached to what's the what's the real desire? Revenge. I was humble enough to be able to say yeah I want revenge. I want them to get hurt. I want them to pay for what they did to me and my family. So with a great level of humility when I did the reverse engineering like the lawyer in the car, I came to the bottom line. What's the desire? Revenge. Now comes the big question. I put it in my chat GPT. Does Hashem allow revenge? No. Does Hashem promote revenge? No. Does the Torah allow revenge? No. So, should I need to desire revenge? No. So, there's your answer, but I want them to. They deserve it. I will find now all the loopholes in the Torah. Why? It's not really revenge. I'm I'm I'm saving other people. Now, the starts manipulating you why it's okay to do that backwards and forth. But you came to the conclusion that the desire is revenge. You know, black and white, you're not allowed to revenge. You know how I calmed myself down by saying to myself, you run revenge? Leave it to Hashem. Your revenge is nothing compared to what Hashem can do to them because I'm limited. I can only use lawsuits, courts, whatever. Hashem has an arsenal of creative ways that can bestow on this individual 10 times more than what I would wish for this person to have. And you know the name of the game and the trick here. I hope you recite the every night. If you don't, I will remind you the first paragraph that you say. Hashem, don't punish any person because of me. So push the desire. I don't want revenge. I don't want them to be punished. I don't want something bad to happen to a person because of me. I don't need this karma. I don't need this towards me. My revenge is limited. A, it's illegal. Illegal in the eyes of the Torah. I will be transgressing the Torah. Should I let this person bring me to a place of a sin? Are you deranged? That's how I talk to myself. I'm going to let another person bring me to sin. No, it's against the Torah. I can't do revenge. I'm just telling you how I how I work and tell I'm telling you the the desire. I wanted revenge to be a on a silver platter. That's how much I mean and it doesn't matter the details. I'm just telling you that this group of individual harmed me and my family in a very bad way. Instead of having anger and revenge and all this, I understood that's I brought it on myself. It's a tikun from a previous life. It's something that I need to do. It's an is a test. I gave myself all the excuses. But when it came to my desire that I wanted revenge, I understood that A, it's against the Torah, so why would I bring myself to a place of sin? He is not worth me sinning. B. If you want the real revenge. Can I be more creative than Hashem? No, I can't. So again, not that I'm in that level that I want the revenge, but because I hold by don't punish a person because of me. But ultimately, you know what? I'm getting exactly what I wanted. I just got it now legally. I wanted illegally revenge. Right now, I don't want any any connection to that. I don't want sins. If Hashem wants to punish punish them, it will be 10 times than what I wanted. And I I got what I wanted. And if Hashem doesn't want a punishment, that's the justice of Hashem. I was at fault. I need to be the one who gets the slap to the head. I need to be might take responsibility. You should know cross the line of sinning. So what am I saying? In other words, that you need to take from this short example. Let Hashem give you what you want. And if he doesn't want to give it to you, then you wanting won't make any difference. In that department, my switch is off. Hashem, whatever you want to give me, I'll be happy with. When I give you a nice house, I'll be happy. You want to give me a small house, I'll be happy. Whatever you give me, I'll be good. I'm going to be be good with. You know what it's called? Gratitude. Hem. Whatever you want to give me, it's fine. And the more gratitude you show Hashem, the more Hashem gives you. The more you're like, "No, no, no, no, no. Really, really, really no. Really, really, really throws you over. No, really, really? No. here. No, I'm telling you that's how it is. If I can tell you stories of how sometimes my life works out, you can't even believe. Hashem says, "I I will take care of everything." You know how many times I walk into a restaurant and somebody recognizes me and says, "I'm paying for the meal. I didn't ask you to pay for the meal." No, no, no. I want to pay for the meal. I I want to I want to And this is something small. She says, "I have a problem. I can take care of everything I want. You do, he will give you what you want. I have to tell you another quick story that came up to my mind. Many, many years ago, I went and did a Shabbaton for a certain community. Three days they they they used every possible hour to use me. I talked to the men. I talked to the women. I talked to the kids, to the teenagers, to the women and the men. They used their three days. Comes the end of the Shabbaton. My wife comes and tells me how much they paid you. They didn't pay me anything. Oh, she got very unhappy. What? They didn't pay you anything. Three days. Oh, my wife got upset and I told her, "Listen, they want to pay their place. They don't want I did I didn't come with a price." And she got very upset. And I told her, "Listen, I'm not worried. I did my job. I did the will of Hashem. I did what Hashem wanted. Hashem, if he wants, he will pay me. He doesn't." A year later, less than a year later, we lived in California. My wife said, "We didn't have money to buy a falafel." Even my wife says, "My kids are going to camp, summer camp." I told the summer camp. You know, you you know how much each kid cost in summer camp. Where am I going to get bring the money to summer camp? She's like, "I don't care. My kids are going to summer camp." Okay. She shows the summer camp and somebody told me, you know, you can apply for tuition, maybe help in tuition. I was okay. So, I applied. Few days later, a rabbi calls me, "Shalom, Rabbi Nava." Yes, it's Rabbi so and so. Hello. I'm calling from so and so camp. Okay. I saw you filled an application. Yes, I did. And then he tells me, do you remember me? I said, uh, no. He says, well, a year ago you came to my community and you gave a Shabbaton. And I I have to tell you, the whole community changed. The next day we had minanim. Five women started covering their hair. Three families were cauter the kitchen and you changed the community and the men are coming to minanim. you did so wow you don't even know what you did to this community. Wow wow wow wow wow. So I said okay that's I'm happy to hear. So he says so what's the deal? What what what do you need? I said I have four kids and uh he says okay. say, you know what he tells me? He tells me pays for the uniform and for the buses for the taking the kids and bringing back the rest is covered. Which was somewhere along the line, and I'm not exaggerating. I think it was about $1,500 a week per child times four kids, six weeks. And this is like the top cream of the crop summer camp in Los Angeles and I got it for free. That would have cost me probably 30 grand, $30,000 to send my kids to camp. So what would I charge them for the Shabbaton? $2,000? $3,000? $5,000? What would I charge for the Shabbaton? Now I got six, seven times the amount. [snorts] That's it. You understand? You do the will of Hashem. He will give you what you need, however he wants in whatever level of abundance. And trust me, when Hashem gives, he gives. Yeah. You know how you say when it rains, it pours. That works positive with Hashem. When he wants to give you something, he will open doors of opportunity. Money will be thrown at you. Business opportunity, everything will be set to you. If that sounds interesting to you, then you have 11 days to make a switch in your mind. How am I changing my year? How is the next year going to look like? Write on a piece of paper, my perfect me, the best version of me. How does it look? and then go after that and that should be your that's my desire my desire is to make it to the my desire is to learn to two three hours a day to understand and to teach my desire is to be an amazing father amazing husband a great teacher that's my desire it it's all along with Hashem and of course what is left for you to do is one simple thing and it's called an action sitting here and nodding. I can do too. Now, what you do when you leave this door? What's the action you do? And if you want to make sure that you get the hook of the action, then the second that we're done, you already in your mind starting to plan how my day tomorrow is going to look like. What am I working on? What am I changing? What am I shifting? That's it. I have an opportunity. That's it. I'm in a crossroad that I can change my life. Next year can look completely different. Completely completely different. You want next year to look different, then you have to do something. You have the opportunity. You have all the means. Hashem says, "I'm here. I'm here. Just just reach out." That means that you need to increase in prayer in the next 11 days. You need to increase in learning Torah. You need to increase in prayers in forms of reciting prayers like it's it's learning Torah because you're learning. It's Torah. But that's a form of prayer. Increase in prayer, increase in charity, increase in learning Torah, increase in good deeds. Focus on all the things you need to get rid of to say if you're not spar then do it like at the end of at the end of the way. But start working on your cha you have to be proactive increasing in everything showing Hashem I can do it inviting the light pushing away the the put yourself on a strict spiritual diet. It will pay off. Then you're going to invest two days, 48 hours of praying and learning Torah and reading tim and shah and hashem is going to bless you with an amazing year, amazing year. Apply what I'm telling you. You'll meet me next year when I come here and you'll tell me, you know what, everything worked. Everything I had a great year, very very productive year, very successful. I'm counting my success, not my losses. In every situation, in every transaction, there's always going to be losses. But if the upper hand is winnings, that's it. You deserve a good successful year. You deserve good relationships. You deserve to get closer to Hashem. But you have to do an action. Nobody will do it for you. Nobody will help you to do that. Nobody will inspire you to do it. Nobody will wake you up in the morning. Do all depends on you. And if you think that you don't have the energy and the power to to get yourself to do that, then like I told you the trick on say no to the desires. That's how you're going to do it. Next desire that comes you know nine times says no one time fail. Okay. When you when you push the the desires when you that's how you get to that's when things to start working your way should be a will that the should bless you and me and all the world together with an amazing year full of happiness and health and prosperity and good guidance to do what we need to do in this world and fulfill our purpose and Hashem should bless us all with true happiness true peace in our hearts great sustenance and amazing relationships.
