And I'm very happy to see you all. And I see a full house. I know why a full house because of the topic. Everybody wants to know how you open your mazal. So everybody's coming front row. If I would talk about the three weeks right now, we'll have 20 people. Yesterday I gave a class in the middle of the fast. 20 people. Nobody comes. How do you make money? Oh, to we're going to have a very very wonderful night with a lot of special information. Uh my humble humble request to you all if you be met can turn your phones over that we're not going to start hearing all sorts of beeping. And since it's a big crowd, please hold your questions and hold your comments and all the and the a and We finished the lecture. Whoever didn't pray, I didn't pray it. We'll have a minion for and whatever amount of time we have, we'll do some time for questions and then I can reveal to you all the secret numbers for the lottery and uh get your pens out. Dove. So, we decided to talk about a very important topic in English. It doesn't sound good. Open your luck. in Hebrew. That sounds a little bit more uh substantial. And by the way, just for the record, mazal is not luck. So, we got to get that first out of the picture. A lot of people think that mazal is luck. That you go to Vegas and you need you need luck. Now, the the first way you can notice that mazal is not luck. What do you say when you go to a wedding? Mazalto. Mazalto the mazal should be tov. Can you imagine if you translate it to English? Good luck. So mazalto is not good luck and mazal is not luck. Mazal is a completely different thing. And tonight I'm going to explain a little bit more thoroughly that there's two types of mazal. There's the physical mazal which is what people known as the zodiac. You were born on t you are a Libra and so forth. That's one mazal. But ourim say that we are above the mazal. The nation of Israel is above the mazal. So how does that work if I'm above the mazal and me and you? So why do I need to bother about how to open the mazal or whatever it is? So here comes the next aspect that most people are not aware of that there's the spiritual mazal. That's not the zodiac. That's not your Libra or your Taurus or your Pisces or whatever your that's one thing. And by the way, that's all true. The the the nations didn't invent it. Go a book of the book of information. It's talking about all the mazalot and many other books of Kabal. But besides that, we know that it's all true and real because the kadesh controls the world through the mazalot. But the nation of Israel, he separated us. So he separated us. So we're not controlled by the mazalot. We are controlled by Hashem. Therefore the spiritual mazal. That's where it kicks in. So tonight we're going to talk about the spiritual mazal and not the physical mazal. If you thought you're going to get like a reading in your horoscope scope, that's not what you're going to have tonight. What we're going to talk about tonight is how do you bring to yourself this mazal? And what is this mazal? Mazal in Hebrew is an acronym. It's not a word. Mazal is makman limud place time and limud can be held as limra. You know every way you have to learn Torah. That's our purpose. But limud is also what you actually learn from the situation. Shem puts you through many different situations. If you didn't learn anything from that, then you're going to go to the same situation over and over till you learn. So mazal, like I said, is an acronym of limud. It's not luck. It's not something that you that you acquire. It's something that you are born with. It's something that Hashem already gives you. Your mazal your mazal is basically the hard drive, the heart that holds all your tikun in it. Whatever you need to do for your rectification, the mazal holds in it. And some people their mazal is to be very rich and they'll be rich. Doesn't matter what they do. And some people don't have the mazal to be rich and it doesn't matter what they're going to do. They're not going to be rich. And the mazal will determine almost everything in your life. Now to start with the kadb who gives you a lot but most of the shea most of the abundance that you get stays in the world above the way it works on shah a person prays and all is decided what's going to happen to you the entire year who's going to live who's going to die who's going to be rich who's going to be poor who's going to which country will go to war everything you know the mashi another thing that is determined on shai and I spoke about that many times in my classes is how much suffering you're going to have this year. How much hardship you're going to have to go through this year and the intensity of it. Is it going to be this big? Is going to be much bigger and of course later on you bring on yourself more. But the quantity of hardship is already decided before before the entire year. The problem is that I do certain actions that I kind of stop the continuation of this shea of this energy coming down. In essence, Hashem blesses all with everything on Shah. Everybody's blessed with money. Everybody's blessed with health. Everybody's blessed with everything. Doesn't come to some individual and says you [screaming] I'm not giving you nothing this year. It doesn't work like that. Maybe some get more, some get less depending on their actions, depending on their but no such thing that you come to and you don't get nothing gives to wicked people. So to you he's not going to give. So what I want to explain today is the concept of that is called mazal and I'm not going to translate it to English because it sounds completely not connected opening your luck mazal is a whole different concept which really means what does it mean that your mazal is open I would rather call it that your mazal is active it's actually in some type of a motion it's not sleeping. When a person gets to that level that the mazal is fully activated, that person reached to his purpose. The sad reality is most people are not even close to their purpose. Most people are walking in circles. They don't know what they're doing, where are they going, no purpose. They don't even know what's the purpose. They don't even care about the purpose. Very few people are also are focused what's their purpose and they know and they bring themselves there and very few people are actually fulfilling their purpose and your purpose is everything you you do in your in your life and the sad reality that I look at people and I talk to people and keep people come to advice most people are not even in connection to their purpose because they're operating on what they think and what they want and what they've been told and what community they were raised in but they're not walking on the path path that they need to walk on far away from the path. And what's the result? Nothing works out. Seems like life there's no luck. Doors are closing in their face. Opportunities don't work out. Things don't work out. And another way is that the person is just unhappy. And there's unhappy because you have issues and you have financial problems or regular life struggles. And there's unhappy that doesn't matter what you're going to be given you're unhappy and that's another majority that most people are unhappy. Now of course the person will not look in the mirror and say I'm unhappy. Nobody comes and sits on their bed and says I wish I would be happy. I'm miserable. It comes about in a completely different way. You are impatient. People annoy you all the time. People talk to you. You don't you don't want to listen. You are aggravated. So you're unhappy. Now you blame it on the entire world. You blame it on your wife, on your husband, on your boss. The fact you don't have money, everything that goes wrong in your life. That's what you blame it on. But really, your sama is screaming, "I'm unhappy." Because I know people that don't have nothing in their life, and they're happy. The happiness doesn't depend on how much money you have and if you're married or not and if things work well in your life or not. If that's the measure of what makes you happy or not, then unfortunately you're in a very bad place. And I live in one of the most poorest cities in Israel in spat. Most of the people there are poor, but most of them are also Torah scholars, but poor. For the ones of you who follow me and and kind of know what I do, you probably know that we support probably about five six hundred poor families in when we do all these campaigns and prayers in in what you participate in. That's what we're doing. We're supporting hundreds of poor families in most of them are are the men are Torah scholars. But why am I saying that? You don't see people unhappy. You don't see people walking in the street depressed. the contrary. You see people happy there. When I first moved to Israel, there was one guy that every time I would see him, first of all, he would ride a bike. Guy looks like in his 40s, like a an electric bike that costs, I don't know, $200. He always smiling, driving with his bike. And every time he would pass me, he would wave to me. I don't even know who it is. He would wave to me. I would wave back. One time we engaged into a conversation. How are you? And after a few minutes he's like, "Sorry, I'm cutting you off. I got to run to the bank. The bank is about to close in a few minutes." Okay. Nobody's holding you. And then he starts telling me how he has like a 200,000 shekele debt in the bank and he has to go to the bank and gives him some some excuses. And I'm like, "You have a 200,000 shekele debt in the bank and you're driving your bike all happy? He says, "Of course I'm happy." So, how can you be happy? He says, "Cuz it's not 400." [laughter] So, instead of whining that it's 200, he's happy that it's not 400. 400 is much harder to pay. 200 I can deal with. Lack of money, lack of a spouse, or lack of anything in your life causes you to be unhappy. You have a problem. So, that's why we're here tonight to solve problems. So the first and most important thing you need to understand that the state that you want to reach that your mazal is active it means that you're on the path of your purpose. So by default you wake up in the morning happy and motivated. When was the last time you woke up in the morning fully motivated, energy high, not tired and not when? Be honest with yourself and you can raise your hand if you did it in the last I don't know three years >> this morning. >> Yeah. What? We have a winner. >> 300 people. One guy picks up his hand. Come on. Two. Okay, we're not doing our competition. Three. Okay, we have a few happy people. But the fact is, ask yourself these questions. How many times in the month, how many days of the month you wake up very happy, very motivated, very excited for a new day. Even though today you have to deal with all sorts of bureaucracy offices, but you still wake up with a lot of energy and a big smile. When was the last time it happened to you? Most of you can't say it happened to me in the last 5 years. We have a few angels here that are probably on their path. So life is good. It all depends on your how you look at everything to determine life is good or not. So first of all activating your mazal and your mazal is activated right means you are on the path of your purpose. It doesn't mean that you achieved your purpose because that means you're going to die. A person is done with the purpose is that they die. But you're on the path of your purpose. Now, how do I get there? Talk is very cheap. How do I get to a point that I can activate my mazal and my mazal is fully activated and shea just comes down unbelievable abundance. And I know for the most people when you say the word shea or blessing, it's translated right away to money. That's most people. Shea can be just your health that you're healthy. Most people are not really healthy. They have some type of a medical issue. Some it's extreme and many it's just something small. Tooth issues, skin rashes. It's all just little. Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why are you accepting being not healthy? We're not going to get to that conversation right now. It's what you eat. It's what you It's everything. But when a person is aware of what's going on, like I told you before, the shepher is not measured in something necessarily physical like money. I measure blessing and if I'm happy or not and if I have good relationship with my wife or not and if I have good communication with my wife and my kids and I don't have to work too hard for my parasa. And don't get me wrong, my life >> [snorts] >> join me for one week, you're not going to be able to hold one day with me. The the speed of my life. I mean, my life is very extreme to a point that if you really follow me, you know that everything that I do comes with disasters. Wherever I go, disasters, you know, I every time I go, earthquakes, tsunamis, airports closing down, flights miss, my life is It's exciting, by the way. Don't get me wrong. Very exciting life. There's no dull moments. >> I sleep standing up sometimes, eat on the floor, pray on highways. It's like, it's a very exciting life. It's not a boring life. But Hashem spices up my life. People think I'm just sitting all day long with my books of Torah and enjoying the wisdom of God. come to visit me one life I have seven kids that's enough all under the age of 20 that in itself is 26 hours a day attention to seven kids and then I have a wife and then I have thousands and thousands of followers that call me and text me and WhatsApp me and sometimes to come from point A to point B you know my sh where I teach is 50 m from where I live takes me 4 hours to get from the my dorm to where I teach. WHY? EVERY SECOND. RABBI. OH, I CAN'T BELIEVE I SEE YOU. I was planning on doing some underground tunnel from my house to the building. [laughter] But why am I saying that? With all the chaos, the positive, everything is positive. With all that chaos, that doesn't changes if I'm happy or not, if I'm in a good mood or not, if I'm motivated or not. And I deal with a lot of things and all areas. I just made a joke. A wife, kids, just being a father and a husband. That's that's enough because you need to support seven kids. It's not I'm not I my bills don't get paid. People think that somehow the electricity company called me and tell me Rabbi Anava, you don't have to pay electricity anymore. I pay electricity and gas and all the things that you pay. I have seven tuitions to pay. what you do, I do the same. But I work very little. I don't have much time to work. I work for Hashem. So I have very little time for my paranas. But the big question is how do you achieve this level that you want to get? How do you put yourself on your path that you feel that your mazal is just throwing a new shea? How how do you do it? So first of all you have to understand that you have to follow the rules and you have to answer all the the in Hebrew it's called naim the >> conditions there's conditions it's not like a one two three and you think you're going to get it there's conditions if you follow it you'll be good so quickly let me go through the conditions And with me first saying that like I told you before that most people in the world, they're not living the right life. And and I'm not saying it in a not nice way, but many many people turn to me for advice and call me or run me in the streets. And when I talk to most people, I see that they're they're they're not living the life they need to live. And they just don't understand why everything is not working out in their life. And since I told you that we are above the mazal, then we have to go to the spiritual mazal, not things that have to do with this world. If you're concerned with things in this world, then it's already a problem. You need to look to a spiritual level. And like I told you, the spiritual mazal is your purpose. Because your mazal will hold in it the DNA of your purpose. Whatever you need to do in this world, your mazal is already prepared for you. If you need to do some type of a rectification with helping people in a certain way, then maybe your male will be that you end up being a doctor or a nurse or a dentist or something in that field. Why? Because that's your tikun. And I'm giving you one example of many. Basically, your mazal holds all your tikun, everything that you need to do. Why? Because Hashem says, "Listen, I'm going to send you down to this world with a mission to do. I'm not sending you with no supplies. Here's the supplies. Use the supply. You will do whatever you need to do. And be careful, the supply is limited. Don't use it on nonsense. Most people take the supply and use it on nonsense. The supply that I'm talking about this is the energy the power that God gives you to wake up in the morning to move your hands. How can you move your body? God gives you the power. Without God giving you the power you can't do nothing. So by the way before we start very important to know all the information that I gathered to you all from the book of the holy z from at first I thought of reading from the zor. I rather save the time and just give you the concept and uh not read every word forbidden. But this is all found in different places in starts says quotes a verse and he says Moshe and he went up to Elohim Mosheren went up to the heavens but he went to Elohim and later on the kadoshu pulled him up to him and the says that he pulled him up to yud and so forth and koshu pulled him up but Mosher Rabenu did the first Move. Rule number one, you need to have the desire to do whatever you need to do. In Hebrew, it's called you need to have the raton. If you don't have the desire, you won't do nothing. You must have some type of a desire. Now, the point is that you start, kadosh will do the rest. You don't have to do much. You just need to start. Rule number one, you need to have the the desire to do whatever it is that needs to be done. If it's to come and pray, you need to want to come and pray, not to be told. And why do you want? Because you understand the benefit of it. If you need to go and do a certain action, you want to do it. You have to get to a point that you have the desire, the to do whatever it needs to be done. That's rule number one. N rule number two and this is by the way Rabiosi from the quoting. I'm just like I told you I'm saying in his name. Rule number two is that nothing is free. Don't expect or don't accept anything free in this world. You have to pay for everything. If you did a mitzvah and you didn't pay for it, then I'll give you an example. If I now come, I don't have my fill in with me and I put your fill in. Am I allowed to? >> Of course. >> Assuming I don't have fillin, but I want to put fillin on and I come to one of you and I borrow your fillin. You agree? I agree. Did I do the mitzvah of fillin? >> I did it right. No question here the from the from the law from the actual I did the mitzvah. Since it's not my and I didn't put money on the it's 10% of the mitzvah. It's not the same power of the mitzvah. When I buy the teilin for myself then I do it perfectly. Same thing with a with a tog. I can go in and take any right the four species. I don't have to bite. I will shake the I did the mitzvah. It's not questionable. I actually did the mitzvah. But if I bought the to and I and the lulav and the whole four species and I paid actually more. I didn't buy some something junk. Give me something for $20. I went and I looked and I bought an expensive one. Now you did the mitzvah the right way. I know it sounds like what? I have to pay for everything. Yeah. And I'll explain to you very soon why says don't take anything for free. You do you get something for free. It's not going to sustain. As a joke I have a like I said things don't get paid. Nothing is paid for me. But in many cases people offer to pay a lot of things that you know I want to pay. Last year, if you remember, I did the same thing like this year, a tour in the United States. Two months. So, I started in Los Angeles. I don't know how it happened. It was just funny. Everywhere I went in the first two weeks, somebody saw me and paid for what I needed. And it started that we sat in a restaurant and eating a whole meal, me and my kids. And then I look at the bill and I'm like, I'm not used to that. Everybody thinks Israel is expensive and thinks and say that Israel is expensive. The other day I went to a restaurant with some friends. $600. I was like, you can feed 10 families in Israel for this. It's very expensive here. I don't know why people think it's not expens say in Israel it's expensive. I don't know what you're talking about. How much tuition you pay for each kid? 15,000 a year. >> I have seven kids. All the tuition combined together is maybe 5,000 shekels a year. >> Okay, we're not going to talk about Israel tonight, but >> you all have to come to Israel. I don't know what you're doing here, but Okay. Okay. I'm not going to bother you tonight with that. Let's rewind where I was. I was saying something about a restaurant. Why did they say a restaurant? >> Ah, all right. So, I we're sitting in a restaurant and I'm looking I get a bill like a big bill. Suddenly, this lady comes up. Rabbi and I can't believe it. Selfies live Instagram. Whoa, whoa, relax. And two minutes later, I I must pay for your meal. [laughter] The truth is I don't like taking presents, but it happened to be that the first two weeks in LA, everywhere that I went to, I won't go into a a a bakery. I get some some stuff some lady, I'm praying for you. Okay. I tried I went into a Mercedes dealership just waiting there. The guy's like, "What are you doing here?" I'm winning from one of my fans. [laughter] I might get a Mercedes tonight. Didn't work. But nevertheless, it was real funny that literally everywhere that I went, somebody says, "I got to pay for you for for your your expense." And really, in many of the cases, I do let people pay only for the reasons that people should be partners in what I do, not because I need it. There's a very interesting story. Okay, we're sidetracking a little bit, but it's important that you know that and I'm going to tell the story in a very short version because the story is long. But there was a certain sadik that he was supposed to do the mitzvah of redeeming a prisoner, a Jewish prisoner from the from a he did that. It's a long long long story. I actually told the whole story in one of my classes. But nevertheless, there was a problem there that one of the police officers that was holding the prisoner came to the house of this uh sadic, this rabbi with a bag full of money. And he told the wife, "Where's the rabbi?" She says, "He's busy." He gave her the bag. He says, "Listen, I got in trouble. I might not make it. If I don't make it, the rabbi can keep the money. If I make it, I'll come and take the money." Sure enough, he didn't make it. The rabbi took the money and gave it to the punchim for the redeeming of the prisoner from that opened the Pandora box. problem started that this was a big sadik when he questioned did a shah in sham why why it's not working out I did come to do a mitzvah they told him from shamim because you did it by yourself you didn't include the whole community everybody should participate so well many of the things I let people here take pay not because they need your money because I want you to be a partner now I landed somebody rented a car for me every mile that I do with that car and I go to lectures. I don't go to casinos. Which means that all the mitzvot that I gathered cuz they came to a to a some guy for a few hundred put a credit card rented a car. Here take the car that I allow. Why now? You're my partner. You're partnering with me. Whatever you do, then it's part you're partnering with what I do. That you can pay that. I don't mind. My electricity bill is not your business. I don't need donations to buy food for myself. I'm okay. I'm doing fine. You want to participate in what I do? That's a whole different level. I don't even know how I got to the point that people pay for me in in restaurants. How did we even get there? >> You said you have to >> Nobody's paying attention. Huh? >> Yeah. But before that, how we got to that? >> Oh, you do something, you pay for it yourself. Hm. >> And I'm just trying to see who's listening. Seems like nobody's listening besides three people. Okay. Nothing is free. Thank you. Rule number two. Nothing is free in this life. Don't look for free things. Don't look for the discounts in mitzvot. I'm not talking about junk. Talking about mitzvah. You pay the most for the mitzvah. You don't save on a mitzvah. Doesn't matter what it is, you have to pay for the mitzvah. And if you do it for free, somehow you didn't fulfill it the right way. And with that, let's continue. But remember rule number two. Nothing is free. Don't look for free things. Look to pay for the mitzvah. And I'll explain to you very soon everything. You know what? I'll explain to you now. It says in the book of Schmot chapter 23:E1 16 when it's talking about the commentary explains what does it mean don't come empty-handed that's what it means you're coming to Hashem don't come empty-handed which means that anytime that I approach to Hashem I have to come with something you can call it however you want it's called the coban I know I'm saying a sacrifice because sacrifice is a whole different thing. Comes from the word. When I sacrifice something, it doesn't have to be a bull or a cow. It can be my time, can be my money, can be my expertise, whatever it is, but when I sacrifice something, I just got closer to Hashem. That's the concept of from the word to come closer. The spirit of impurity gets stuck on the free. I'll explain. And again, that's is I'm summarizing everything what Rabiosi says in the Zor. If you paid for a mitzvah, you removed the is sitting on the mitzvot. It's waiting. It's because that's how it gets its sustenance. So you're familiar with one action that you're sitting on the table on Shabbat for example but every day but you're sitting on Shabbat table tora kosher food wine kush you know what kadusha is on that table so who's next to the table waiting just waiting for you to say some waiting for you to lie waiting for you to gossip waiting for something or if it's Shabbat talking nons Nonsense business. [snorts] What do we do for the sit in the Shabbat? The end of the meal, we give it a little bit of water. Here it goes. Choke on it. That's it. The same idea is that whatever wasn't paid, the has on it. It's holding on it. Quick test. What's the first time in the Torah that we see this encounter? >> Very well. Abraham. No, no, no. You're not giving me the the grave for free. I'm paying for it. And you know what's 400 shekels at the time of Abraham? It's probably like in our time, $400 million. Same equivalence, more or less, maybe even more. Abra was a billionaire. Money wasn't an issue with him. But no, no, no, no. I will pay for my grave. Anything that you need to do, you need to redeem it with money. You go to a big, you what does tell you? You have to give money. Money in the is called damim, blood, life. A lot of people get it wrong. Oh, again, the rabbis are coming with their with their fundraisers. You know, the rabbis are doing you a favor, by the way. When a rabbi comes to you, a true rabbi, not the the the business ones, but when a true rabbi comes and and he invites you to participate in something, he's doing you a favor. You're not doing him a favor. Assuming it's a real rabbi, not some nonsense. Anyone who comes and promotes to you to pull to do a mitzvah with money is doing you a favor. When I started my way in Torah, I was a gabay in a shul for 10 years and I was a it was a very difficult sh. Nobody ever paid, nobody wanted to pay. Oh, it doesn't matter. It was a very hard sh and I used to I needed to collect money for the shoe and every time was arguments and here and one time I told the rabbi listen I'm quitting I I don't want this. So he opened and told me showed me what says about the gabites of the and since then I never stopped because when the gabay takes money takes he makes you give money all the money that is collected it's like as if he he gave that donation and he gets your mitzvot and you just open and see the gabites his merit and again I'm not talking about the I'm not talking about the fake ones and unfortunately whenever there's an opportunity, there's always going to be the the the the dark side. But when it's the real deal, you're not doing anybody a favor when you're donating. You whoever you donated to is doing you a favor. So, first of all, like I told you, nothing is free. Rabiosi says if you didn't pay for it the spirit of impurity is holding on to the object or to whatever it is and it can be on your body. So you need to paint to how Rabiosi says you paint you remove the prosecutor nothing is free. Now it says before that. So we have rule number one. Remember rule number one. >> You want you need you want to you want to do it. Rule number two nothing is free. Rule number three is a big uh Okay, I know Sam will uh rule number three. I'm going to look more at the men for a second. You have to be married. As long as you're not married, don't expect mazal. So for the young ones, okay, you have time. But that's why the Mishna says 18, go and get married. And I'm not going to start explaining why, who, what. I'm just going to quote one place in what happens to a man that is not married. It says, and again, I'm I'm tonight I'm I want to make it short, so I'm not going to start reading every source. This can be found in it says when a man is not married, He doesn't have a wife. Nothing is good in his life. Which means that you nothing can be good in your life if you don't have a wife. I'm looking there. Okay. Don't start getting next says so you don't have any doesn't matter what's going to happen. You don't have true happiness. No blessing in your life. Shalom. No peace in your life. I have to translate. No peace. No help from above. No atonement. No Torah. No wisdom. No life. No will. No raton. No osher. No happiness. No kavad. 12 things you don't get if you don't get married. Now I know many will say but I'm I want to I want to get married. And then some will say but I'm already married. I don't see any luck here going on here. I got married a while ago. I don't see the ba. I think I did something wrong here. [laughter] And then of course the ladies will be like what about us traction says that when you do when a a man marries a woman and it's not just grabbing the woman and marrying her. It's a whole life of marriage taking care of the woman and being nice to her and pampering her and spoiling her. You can thank me later. Uh but nevertheless, it says that when a man performs his duty of marrying a woman, it doesn't say in the Torah that Adam, it says that Adam took 12 gates of the open on the man that brings a wife to his home and treats her like a wife. So before you have that, don't expect mazal. That's first of all. So rule number three is marriage. I know there's a lot of questions. Sit quiet. You'll get everything answered. But comes now another question that maybe you haven't asked is okay, I got married. Now what? That's it. I I brought my wife. Where's the luck? So, it hasn't worked so uh easy and nothing in life is easy. But first, we're going through the rules. In order for me to again open and expand my mazal, we had already three rules. Now, rule number four, because the rule number four is after you get married. And rule number four in after you get married is to know to the term in Hebrew is put your head down. H I prefer saying shut up. No, no, no much more to add. You need and I'm looking especially the men by the way because it's more required from the men. The Talmud says if one tear comes out of your wife poor is that man that got his wife to tear one tear and I know all the men ah she's annoying she's this she's demanding and her mother I also have a mother-in-law the tal says me skin poor is this man that will make his wife cry. And I know a lot of men are like, "Give her everything." I'm not too sure you give much. But nevertheless, first rule, put your head down. You know how to put your head down or in my terminology, shut up. You'll be very successful in life. Not only with your wife, you guard your tongue. All your problems is your mouth. So when you know how to close your mouth, I said it once, to say is very bad and very hard to say positive things is great. Not to say something at the wrong moment. And usually the temptation is that you can shut up. You just have to say it. If you guard your tongue, you all your problems is your tongue. So the first thing, that's why I say keep it quiet. Lor means you're right, honey. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Even if you're 5,000% right. Sorry, honey. Next time I'll be better. It's not about being right. It's not about being smart. It's Sorry. It's not about being right. It's about being smart. And we'll get to that more too. And I know now you're getting a lot of credit points. Soon I'll get to you. But nevertheless, it's important that you know how to give in, how to say sorry, how to apologize. Even when you don't need to. Many times I'm 100% right. I still apologize. I still give my wife the kavud. Happy wife is a >> So, so rule number four is a little bit tricky. We're going to elaborate on that because the women need to know what to do. Also, the women also have a side in the marriage. But a man who's looking to develop his life and to develop his path and to go on the right path first alone when he reaches a certain maturity, he needs to find a wife. Now the problem with the single ones is not that they can't find a wife. Her nose is too big. Her this is this and this is that. And same with the women, by the way. But I'm leaving you alone for a few minutes. There shouldn't be a reason why a man or a woman shouldn't get married and find their other half. If you cannot find your other half, then we're going to talk tonight. Something's blocking here. Something there's some type of a problem here. there's some type of a pipe at shea that the shea doesn't come through but nevertheless once you already got to that point then you need to maintain it it's not a big deal to find a wife everything two or three years everything's there and then leave me alone go to the kids and leave me alone and I can tell you already that first of all I do it willingly and gladly but I can see in actual how when I put my wife on a pedestal then my life is very smooth. And if shalom, because I'm very strong minded, in case you haven't noticed, in the last 15 years, I say what I think. I I do what I want, what Hashem wants. I don't hold anything. So, I'm not an easy man to deal with. My wife deserves not medals. She deserves much more than medals to be married to me. But nevertheless, you're going to meet her. She's coming in a few weeks. asm uh the wonder woman that can handle me but nevertheless I'm not an easy man to deal with but and as a husband took me many many years to per to perfect myself to bring myself to the point that I'm the husband I'm supposed to be and when you reach to that point I can tell you that's when you see you see peace in your life you see everything and you know what not that I'm trying to say anything wrong in many of the cases I'm right in an in an arg argument or in a disagreement. But as big as I am physically, and you'll see my wife, she reaches to me here. I'm 6'2, she's like 5 something. She's like little. As big as I am, I'm like this next to her. And not because I'm a wuss or because I'm some I don't know what. First of all, I love her. She's my wife. She's the mother of my kids. She took me where nobody else will took me will take me. Yeah, I think some of you know the story. And if you heard it or didn't hear it, if you didn't hear it, then there's many lectures of that. But last year I gave a long lecture. I'm not talking about the near-death experience. I'm talking about when I was facing 40 years in jail. >> You didn't hear the story. >> You're you know, >> no. How could you hear it? You're obviously not coming to all the lectures. Last year I gave like five of them here in New York. But nevertheless to make a very long story short come to other other the lectures I doesn't matter right now the whole story for the ones who don't know it but at some point in my life after my near-death experience I was a little bit of a troublemaker a big troublemaker and I got in trouble with the FBI and the DA and I sat in jail for two years I was a drug dealer drug trafficker and many other things that's a a lot of piece pieces missing from the story of the near death why who when listen 20 years I had to thank God for statute of limitation. I can say whatever I want to a certain extent. But nevertheless, that's not important right now. The point is that I met my wife when I came out of jail. On our first date, I came with a a bracelet on my on my on my leg. First date, I told my wife about the near-death experience, 7-hour date. Second date, I told her, "By the way, I'm out on bail and I have a trial in a year. I only have 49 counts on a federal indictment. We're looking at about 40 years, but I have bet which of course I had beton. But you know what? My my wife had we got married a month before my trial. >> So I think we should stop switch to a different lecture right now. So I have great respect, honor and to my wife. I see that many men and women too. A year pass, five years pass, 10 years pass, a little bit of junk comes into the relationship and you can't stand the other person. Where you were in love with that person 20 years ago. Let's continue. I'm some carrying away. But rule number four, it's all the structure of marriage. You don't have the structure of marriage. Don't expect anything normal going on in your life. Now, after all this, there's another problem. Did you do a lot of sins? That's a problem. Assuming you don't have any sin and you just did what I just told you technically you are set to open the mazal and get shea and everything should work well but then the unfortunate reality is that you have a and serious ones to some extent and I know everybody looks in the mirror and they think that they're the son of the babasali and I'm fine for me it's okay you're not close to to being okay look at yourself 24 hours a day and you you'll say that you're far away from what you're supposed to be but nevertheless you feel that you are the best thing that happened to the world. When you have a lot of aot a lot of sins, don't expect mazal to to to be activated because you block it completely. Nothing will come down here and there some some drop will come down and nothing will work. And of course it depends on the other depends on the sins, severe sins, small sins, but sins are the a very big problem. So let's put now rules all four rules aside. Let's concentrate on this for a second. Our sages say there's no such thing that you suffer and you didn't do a sin. Suffering is a result from you doing a sin. Now, let me ask you a technical question. Is that a punishment? >> Thank you. It's not a punishment. Theim is the red flashing lights for you to understand you're off the path. Go on the path like the system they have now in almost any car. You go off the the the lane, it throws you back or some beeping going on. Same thing. That's your isim. Which means that if something's going bad in your life, red lights need to blink. You're doing something wrong right away. You need to stop. Hardship is the red blinking light that you did something wrong. You have to put it good in your house, in your mind. Now, when a person sins, he basically takes Hashem and puts Hashem into exile. That's the the general concept. Balata explains it in the book of Tanya very thoroughly that when I when I sin the power the co that Hashem gives me to do whatever I need to do in this world and I direct it to something negative then I kind of pull this godly spark which is really Hashem into something wrong to the sin so I take Hashem's existence and I put it into a sin that's how severe the till I will remove it out. There will be a prosecution which means till I do complete chuva for that act, there's going to be a persecution from above for that action. And it's not a punishment. It's just how Hashem created things. You take now this godly spark, this power, this energy that God gave you to do something positive with it, and you directed that power to something negative. This hand was supposed to give charity and it went here and it stole the power that is dressed into the hand into the nephesh that allows you to do it. It's Hashem and you take now this power and you put it into the tum into the you take Hashem and you put Hashem in exile until you will get it out by doing chuva. it's stuck there and there's going to be a prosecution and it doesn't matter who you are and how good you are and if you gave millions of dollars to to charity. It doesn't matter. You can be the nicest person mitzvah 24/7 one time you do a sin that's it that the whole system it doesn't change because you're a great person. Obviously if you're that a great of a person then you do chum very easily and you release it. That's the concept of chuva. Tashu. Look at the letters in Hebrew. Chuva is tin v. Tashu. Return the hay of Hashem. When I sin, I take the H of Hashem, the last the last H, and I pull it into down into the tuma. I do. Hey, hey, comes back. When I say any I have to say when I'm saying there's a few covenant that one needs to do basic things that you don't have to be in our one of them is to imagine when you're saying Hashem's name is to imagine the yud and the h the letters yud and he and then imagine the letters vav and in your in your mind put them together. Now try to do that and you see it's not so easy. It's very hard to to to picture in your mind you and put them together. But that's the concept of so I'm responsible with my action to the now I know many will say well I'm limiting Hashem. It's not about limiting or controlling Hashem. Hashem is dressed in me. The simp the explanation is very simple. The only reason why I'm moving and I'm alive because I have an eff and I have a and I have an that's Hashem in me. Which means that if I go now to a bet midash, I go and sit in that then I'm taking the godly spark that is in me to the now I go to a place of tum then I'm taking this godly spark this part of Hashem in me I'm taking it to a place of tuma. And again, it doesn't matter who you are and you can be a good person or or you can scream as much as you want, but you can't affect Hashem. And I just told you very simple explanation. This is explained by the way on one of the commandments. Don't say Hashem's name for no for for vain. the the kavana the the explanation of lash means for no reason for vain means that I took theem's name and I stuck it into the that's that I'm taking hem's name and I'm putting it in something shav shave means nothing like something vain it's not about just saying hashem's actual name when I do a certain sin I take hem into this place of impurity that falls under the the the commandment. [snorts] Now the says that gives you energy to do everything and you cannot move nothing in your in your body even thoughts anything without Hashem giving you that energy and allowing you to do that. Now if I took this energy, this power for a sin, Hashem gave me this power to do only good but I'm taking it to a sin. Then I'm taking this power of vav that is dressed on my I take it to the that's what I do the means the spiritual husk is the other side of holiness tuma and so forth. And what happens is that the kipa will be dressed in physical things, not in spiritual things. It's going to be dressed in physical things. And what are these physical things? All these hardships that you're going through. Suddenly this breaks down. $30,000 damage. Suddenly this is stolen. This is broke. All sorts of things that you're dealing with. Big bill that you didn't expect. The kipai gets dressed in physical things. And why? Very simple. To put you back on your path, not not for any reason. Not to that's not revenge. It's not a punishment. It's a system to put you back on the right track. That's why our sages say when hardship comes to you, accept it with love. Means Hashem is taking care of you. Hashem is actually he pays attention. The Raak says that when a person does chuva and I'll explain shortly the very ex short explanation of what chuva means he removes all the kipa and all the mizim all these external spiritual powers that come to harm him he removes everything right now if you did some type of a sin and you didn't do chuva for that you are covered with kipot You're covered with this mikim. Mazik is something that comes to bother you to to to harm you. And how do you know that you are full covered with these kipot? You have weird thoughts, not not pure thoughts, not pure intentions. You bump your toe on the corner bed. Instead of saying ouch, you say a word that is not nice. Why would you say that word? Say I, I Why do you have to say a word that rhymes with duck? But that's what you say. But why clipot? You're covered with kipot. So you're angry and you're impatient and you're jealous and you look at another person and many other things. It's not your personality. You're covered with clevot. Your thoughts are different. Your behavior is different. And I don't need to elaborate on that. When you do chuva, when you do a repentance, you rem you remove it. You take it off. You get rid of it. More than that, chuva is uh I'll break it now to two. the sins that I did in front of God and the sins that I did in front of people the chuva has to be on both levels. I can do great chuva with hashem but if I didn't apologize to you I have a problem to a point even that says if you if anyone holds grudge against you and didn't forgive you or you didn't apologize yipur won't help you don't bother to come every yonipur I feel like sending letters to a bunch of people that I know that they need to do chuva tell them please don't come to shu you're waste of time. Stay home and and don't eat because it's a it's a sin, but you're not going to get an atonement. And I don't want to be harsh now on everybody, but that's half of the people in that are aware of chuva. If you don't know how to come to somebody and apologize, don't expect cha. That's why I told you before with your wife, learn how to lower yourself. And that's when you didn't do nothing. If there's anyone and I said that in many of my classes for the last 101 15 years you coming to Yam Kipur and we even forget Yom Kipur in any situation that somebody's upset at you and you owe them an apology or you owe them money or you owe them something. That's the biggest block. Nothing will work. Nothing will work. I know it's hard to come and apologize and sometimes they they owe the ap they need to give the apology, not you. But nobody cares. And my father told me when I was young, don't seek to be right. Be smart. That's it. You don't have to be right. Nobody cares if you're right or not. But when it comes to chuva, I can tell you already when I started doing chuva, that wasn't regular chuva. I came with junk of a battalion of people. The amount of junk that I carried. And my chuva, I didn't do like a, you know, like a half chuva. My chuva was I searched for people for years that I owe the money. I went to a rabbi who who told me tell me everything that I need to do. Don't say with me. And if you think I'm harsh the list [snorts] that he gave me, but I was diligent three, four, five years. I'm not I'm not leaving one stone unturned. And when I couldn't find the people that I owe them money and apologies and whatever the says, you want a miracle to happen to you, stay up all night, not watching Netflix, stay up all night and learn Torah. Doesn't matter right now what prays and in that morning after nets you pray to the for whatever assistance you need in chuva, not pray for your BMW assistance to do chuva. Shem will make things come to you and it works. How many nights I didn't sleep? And I prayed to Hashem, I owe some people money. Bring them to me. And I would meet people IN THE STREET. HEY, I OWE YOU MONEY. People thought I'm cuckoo. In the beginning, I didn't have money. I would come up to people and tell them, "Listen, I stole from you $5,000 10 years ago. I don't have money, but if you want, I'll read a whole book of stealing for you." Most told me like, "Just give me the money." [laughter] One guy told me >> five books. I'm not joking. He told me he's looked up. Five books. Deal. Five books of Tim that I read. He's going to get that in Shamim. That's like $5 trillion. One day he's going to come to Shamim with all of his sins. And what if they're going to tell him, "You don't have enough mitzvot. You're going to gam." Suddenly they'll be like, "What? Hold it." They'll bring Trump. Hold it. Hold it. Suddenly wagons of mitzvot are going to be pulled into grenade and they'll be like what is that? 40 years ago rabbio here on the scale 500 million tons of mitzvot versus so one smart person told me five five books but I would deal with people I'll read for you I'll learn Torah for you. I'm not knowing anything now. A lot of people didn't didn't accept that but at least I took care of it. My Chuva, I didn't leave one stone uncovered. I'm not coming back here. I know what you what you're planning. I'm not coming back here. I'm done. And adios. Mashia comes very soon. And that's it. I don't need I don't owe. I don't want to owe. And you want to do the exact same thing. Your chuva shouldn't be like like a in Hebrew we have a term like a wiggly wheel. How do you call that? like one wheels like that >> wobbling >> wobbling wheel >> in Hebrew it sounds good in English >> but doesn't matter you don't want your chuva to be half chuva now just to conclude this part the real explanation of chuva is closing things that are open don't leave things that are open the right chuva is to seek people that you lied to and you cheated and you've offended and stole money and you did wrong to them. That's really how you do chuva. Chuva is not just sitting in a synagogue and learning all day long is fixing what you did. For the ones of you are familiar in my spiritual court trial, they told me you have to live your life like a Jew. Rule number one. Rule number two, you have that backwards. The first few years of my of my chuva life was to do backwards chuva and I didn't miss one thing. I made calculations accurate calculations. I shared this information many times when I became observant. I said okay from today I'm putting fillain on but I have 14 years back that I didn't put fillain on. How am I going to get that back? And I made a calculations how many time I didn't put fillin on? very simple from my bar mitzvah till the age that I was then minus shabbatim and all that in the holidays my go to a number that's the amount of times I did not put fill in which came to a little bit over 4,000 times so that means I now have to make sure that 40,000 people or men men put 40,000 times teilin 10 times more than what I missed that's how you do chouva my friend you run in the street you put feline You put fill in. You need fill in. I'll give you $50. You need fill in. No. No. Not you. That's what I did. You know how many stocks I have in fill in? I have maybe, I'm not exaggerating, 5,000 stocks all over the world of fillin that I participated in buying. The person has to buy it themselves. I told you you have to redeem. You have to pay for the mitzvah. But you can be a partner in mitzvah. Can you imagine? You have 5,000 people walking in the streets and you assisted them one way or another to buy to fill in or to put it to buy it. Here $50, here $20. That's how you start filling your bank. Most people don't know what they're talking about. The the even when it comes to stuff like that, the the money that they have goes to junk. Do the right thing. The other day I came and I I was hosted somewhere and I was praying from a sidur one of my sidur and the man that hosted me I I didn't see him for a while. I told him, "You see this sidu? Remember a few years ago you donated $500?" He told me, "You want to buy sidurim prayer books?" He's like, "Yeah." I said, "Well, that's one of the sidim that I bought." Then he calls his wife. He's like, "We're rich. We're rich." And she's like, "Really?" He's like, "Well, not with money." But every time Raan prays, we get merits because I we donated the sidu. I told Yeah, you're right. That's how you that's how you reverse things. That's how you fix things. Now if a person will come now and tell me that's it. I did chuva 20 years ago. I have nothing. Whatever you're saying here doesn't belong to me. I I rule number one, two, three, four, five. All the rules I did. I'm married. Everything I did chuva. There are some people like that. And that person will tell me no mazal. No mazal. Nothing works in my life. What are you gonna answer a person like that? The person did everything. All the rules the chuva everything. So I'll tell you a story. The story is told in the but elaborates on that story with another story. So I'll tell you first the first story. One of our sages, it says in the that he used to was a uh he he used to have wine. He used to make his own wine. Sounds familiar. No. That's the part where you're supposed to say, "Yeah, yeah, yeah. We know you make wine. We want to buy your wine. Where's the wine?" So this used to do wine and one time the whole seller turns into vinegar. Massive loss of money. What are you going to do with the vinegar now right now? Okay, this is a this is a sage. He goes to his colleagues and tell them listen all my wine became sour. What did they tell him? look in your actions. Maybe you did something. He tells him, "I'm one of the I'm" and saying on himself, "But this is a a big sage." He says, "I need to look in my actions. Why are you telling me that even?" They're telling him the wine became vinegar. Look in your actions. He looked and looked and looked and looked and he says, "You know what? I think I know what it is. I have a worker that steals from me and since I'm not so happy with this stealing that every month that I pay him, I take off from the pay what he stole already. So the told him you're not allowed to steal from him. I know you there's a term I don't know how you say that in English. When you steal from a thief, you you are exempt. >> You know what you're exempt from? You're exempt from paying what's called kilnas, paying double on the act that you did if the Sanhedrin or the court or the bedin gives you a a fine. So you pat from paying double. That's it. It didn't mean you didn't steal. So they told him, you can't steal from your worker. You have to confront it. You have to tell him, listen, I know you're stealing. It's you can't like take the money back from here out of the salary. Okay. And he did chuva. Now the story has two versions. One version was that the wine that the vinegar turned back to wine and became very good wine. That's one version. But the version the other version is that the city nearby nobody had there wasn't any vinegar there. He was the only one who can supply vinegar. Now the v price of the vinegar went higher than the wine and he actually balanced it out and made a lot of money with the story. There's another story on that that the zor says about a certain individual that his uh worker used to steal from him but he was like he didn't want to do anything about it. He didn't wanted to confront the worker. He didn't want to punish him. He was like, "Yeah, whatever. Whatever." When he came to ask his why he doesn't have mazal, same thing. They asked him, "Why are you getting attached to a wicked people, a wicked person?" If it happens to be that you actually pay attention when you're reading the morning prayers in the morning. So, you're asking but then we asking right from a bad neighbor, from a bad Why am I asking that? Says, "Don't get attached to somebody wicked. You have a c-orker, a partner, somebody that's in your life that is doing sins. Disconnect that connection from that person because he's making you now impure even though you didn't do nothing." When our sages in the great assembly when they wrote the in the morning when they wrote the know what they're talking about don't don't bring me somebody in my life that is in my business desecrating Shabbat stealing whatever it is don't be associated with such a person I know people who go to the complete extreme they don't do anything with if if the person is not observant in Shabbat anything even calling a plumber into your house if he's not sh No, he's not coming into my house. I know some people that it's they won't bring anything that is against the Torah close to them. So the part of the cha we understand. Now there's the last rule that we need to follow. Hashem tells you, "You take care of me and I'll take care of you." Very simple. You want a house? Who here wants a house? No one. Okay. One person, three. Yeah. You're very slow tonight. I'm I'm offering you a house. You want a house? >> Hashem says, "You want a house? Then make me a house. So go and give some of your money and donate to a betet. It's very simple. The rules is very very simple. You want kids, anything that you want, then do that to me. Hashem says, not me. Whatever you want, then do the exact same thing to me. You take care of me, I'll take care of you. Very simple. You need to know who you who you need to uh hook up with who can take you to the places that you can go. But the rule is whatever you want, think how you can do the exact same thing to Hashem. Then you're going to have to use your your creativity and your imagination. Now the tones says if you're lacking something you lack parasa you lack a husband kids whatever you feel that you're lacking in your life and I'm not talking about nonsense right now normal things we're talking only about normal things tonight not junk that it says search where is lacking in the spiritual world if you're lacking What are you lacking in the spiritual world? Nobody knows. >> H you say okay >> mind >> god-fearing. Okay. >> Nobody has a slightest idea. >> Hm. No. No. Don't try to guess like what uh what sin or what mitzvah is going to cause you to to to add the lack. That's not what that's not the direction. I'm lacking something in this world means that I'm lacking something in aem. I'm not doing something spiritually. >> Is also good. No, no, don't try to guess. I know you're trying to find guesses. I'm I want you to understand the concept. If I'm missing something in this world, it means that I'm missing something in the world above that I where do I get my shea? Where do I get everything >> from above? H >> I severed the pipes of the shea I severed I mean >> no no no you're all taking it to the a little bit to the wrong direction. I'm not asking you which sin or which mitzvah is going to cover your lack. That's not what I'm asking. What I'm trying to make you understand is if you're lacking something in this world, it means that something is lacking in the world above that you are not getting in in this world. You need to reverse engineer what is lacking in your I don't know what's lacking in your life. It's very nice that you're saying I don't know what's lacking in your life. I know what's lacking in my life. I know what's lacking in my life. When something goes on in my life and I see it's not going on smooth, I work very hard to try to figure out what am I not doing physically or spiritually that is causing a certain lack in the world above that if if you're looking at in a in a way that the blessing is coming from above to below it's lacking up there. It's not that I I don't have a connection like you said the pipes are blow it's not up there. If you don't have money in your AT in your in your checking account, can you pull money from the ATM? No. So, if I'm coming out to an ATM, no money, no money, no money. What's the conclusion? >> There's no money in the account. Of course, put money. >> But the conclusion is that there's no money in the account. >> No, no, no. Don't don't don't try to just pay attention. What I'm saying is I'll give you as many as examples that you need. You come in the morning to the to your refrigerator. You remember the night before there was milk. You come to do coffee. You pull the milk carton. Somebody left it empty. Go is empty. I love coffee. You mean not to have milk on the morning. No milk in the fridge in the morning. Everybody hides in my house. There's no coffee. But what I'm saying is when something doesn't when I'm lacking something in this world, I don't look for excuses. I'm looking what am I doing that is something above is lacking. All your guesses is very good. I mean you give good examples but that's not what I'm looking for. You need to figure it out. I know what I'm lacking in my life. I you can only there's no rules. There's no book that I can tell you, oh no, it's this and this. No love, it's this and that. I can't tell you that because you control your actions. I don't know what you are doing. I know what I do and I know what I don't do. And I'll tell you one example out of many. Many many years ago when I became observant first year that I was actually praying shamur then sorry it was actually the second year but doesn't matter. I took on myself on Yom Kipur that I'm giving a 100 no question 10% Maser doesn't matter poor not poor and I think I even shared that story a few times in some of my lectures I'll tell you very quick because it's just to make a point when I got married and and and on that yum kipu we my wife and we were so poor that we we didn't have any money at all I learned in yeshiva my wife would come to the yeshiva I would take two plates of food And I walk out and we would eat on the street on a on a bench and my wife would invite us to people. She would call people in Shabbat. Uh are you having a meal? Shabbat. Uh we didn't have to go. We were real real poor but happy. Why did I tell you that? >> Thank you. Sometimes I'm my thoughts are like three three kilometers after. Nevertheless, so we were poor. I come to the sh and uh you know I'll tell you the short short version of the story. The short version of the story that I accepted on myself that yum kib that I'm going to start giving 10% of whatever I make I will do the exact the right way. And why did I want to do that? Because in that year I started a business and I I needed parasa. We were like really bad. I had a daughter coming. I mean my wife was pregnant. A year later when I did my taxes and my calculations for my and everything, you know what? Sorry, I have to tell you the whole story. You're missing the whole point. Okay, let let me I'm just looking at the clock and I'm like, "Oh, everybody's complaining. Your classes are too long." So So I need to to to cut it short. But nevertheless, uh, in that sh, it was a very small sh, we were like 15 people and it was Yonipur and the rabbi said right before the the prayer of Mina, you know, the rabbis was selling, you know, open the the selling the the little mitzvot and then he comes to a certain aliyah and he says, "Oh, this aliyah, this is to be rich. the mafiona. This is I was like rich what' you say? So he's like yeah we're auctioning the mafiona. Okay. It was a very small sh. It wasn't like for the the Syrian community the mafiona goes for a quarter of a million. Uh this uh this sh started with $18. Okay. Then we had a fight went to $20. Then we had a bigger fight went to $22. But I was very determined to get the mafiona. And there was another annoying guy who was very determined too. So very quickly the $18 between 50 and 100 and 120. Like you have to understand I don't have money for nothing. And in my mind I'm like how am I going to pay for this? And in my mind like okay I'll be mopping the floor in the je for the next year. I don't know. I'll massage the rabbi. I'll figure it out. And it goes to 300 400. And I'm like I don't give up. I'm like I'm getting it. I'm the rabbi said it's aut. rich. I'm getting it. It goes to 500, 600, 700. Stops on $770. I know all the kabanikim are like, "Woo, [laughter] you must be a I won. I took the the prize." Okay, I go up to the Torah. I read the come home. I didn't I wasn't the whole day in the the house. No point of going home. I come home. My wife tells me, "No, how was your prayer?" Don't ask. Everything is taken care of. Really? I I spoke with a rabbi. I spoke with Hashem this year. Why? What happened? You got a certain blessing. I said, "Not only that, I got a blessing. I got the material." My wife being a bou like me. What's the mafiona? told her, "No need to ask too many questions. [laughter] Just know that we're going to be rich." Wow, I love this. What did you do? I told nothing real big. I just bought the aliyah and uh that's it. Okay, you bought it like what what does it mean you bought it? There was an auction. I bought it. How much was it? I said$770. Oh, $7.70. I said [laughter] the dot to the right. [laughter] $70.7. One more to the right. $700. [screaming] We don't have money for rent. Are you crazy? First fight I had in my marriage. Don't worry. Don't worry. the the rabbi said we'll be rich. [laughter] >> A year later when I had to calculate my massro I started a business that year I'm not I had never lie. >> How much did I make that year? 77,000 on the dollar a thousand times like same thing that's ah and of course the condition was and it's very hard to give m when you don't have money when you have debt and you get $1,000 the $1,000 has an address there's no room for $100 $ to go away. But I was so particular and so persistent. A year later, the Kadosh Bahu puts his stamp here. I don't fail. >> What does your wife say? >> She was very happy. The next year, she was like, "Bump it up." So [laughter] the So the next year I came back home very happy. I got the mafena. This time was a bigger shoe. It cost me $3,000. It wasn't already, but my wife was very happy. Buy whatever you want. But that year I took on myself that I gave 20% myself humash and the the business tripled and quadruple and the business was so blessed that for seven years my business was I was a wedding photographer. >> Seven years I learned in yeshiva and I supported myself with doing one two weddings a month. That's it. My wife would deal with the phone calls, with the albums and all that stuff. Three, four times a month. I would go seven, eight hours, be involved in a sim, take beautiful pictures, get a fat check and seven years I didn't leave yeshiva. That's how I learned and I had money. Wasn't like the poorness disappeared. Three years we were like on the floor and that's it. The mafiona, the masro, everything. But why am I telling you this? Because there was some period in my life that money was like and and I'm telling you now I'll share some private stuff because a lot of people totally get me wrong and some of you know me for 20 years. Some of you some of the faces I know for a long long time. I came here to bet Gabriel 15 years ago when I was a brown black beard and some people let me think at least 17 years right >> in Mill basin so and your husband I saw him walking in I don't forget anything so some people know me here for 15 20 years I started teaching maybe 20 years ago [snorts] so why am I saying that if you know me to some extent, my entire organization grew. Rabbi Nava doesn't just teach Torah on YouTube. You know me from YouTube. We have a yeshiva and a woman's center and many different things and a food bank that we support hundreds of families and many great mitzvot that we do. Many many great mitzvot I told you about the fillin. We have a fillin fund. I have a lot of sticks going on to help people and to help people help people. But my entire organization that has a very very large budget. Most of the money of the organization is not coming from donations. You ever saw me standing and fundraising? No, I don't fund raise. I don't do big campaigns and charity and charity and whatever it's called. You give a dollar, my friends will give you $3. Not you. Like, you know what I'm talking about. You get hit with fundraises 50 days, 50 times a day. My business model is completely different. I don't hit you with fundraisers. I tell you, buy my wine, buy my books, buy shirts, go on my website. You don't need to donate anything. That's how I run my organization. Yeah. 20% is is is donations for me. When you buy my product, it's a donation. It's not you didn't buy a product. It doesn't go to my pocket. I have my own business. And that's what basically what I'm telling you. People think that no no I have my own business. I was always a businessman. All my life I knew how to make money. I have my own business. I need to support my wife and seven kids and I support my own organization. Most of the money of my organization is my own money. And I did that for many many many years. There was only one part in my life that my rabbi told me stop just it worked well for a few years and then I back to square one because I saw it's not so working that well. But why am I saying that? One year business wasn't so good. It was more like two years, a lot of struggle and I wasn't quick to do the evaluation. And you know what I found out after a while? It took me two years. The massot were not done right. for many years for 10 years I was like and you have to understand the mas has to be on the scent not like ah I made about 100 grand so here's 10,000 you have to calculate it even if it doesn't matter if it's in millions or in little the whole point of the masser that it's calculated not to come people come and tell me I make about 300,000 a year okay so does that's that's not how you calculate maser you want it to be if you want to do it right on the scent not rounding. So for a while money wasn't flowing well. I was too busy with many different things to think wait a minute I am not putting so much attention to the masot I would give more or less didn't have time busy more kids more students more things to do so the masot became as a bear you know what's bearroximate >> maybe yeah approximate >> and right away and I didn't notice that so why am I telling you this whole something's lacking down here means lack something's lacking up there I'm not doing if I'm not getting here something it means I'm not giving something I'm doing something that's what you need to take to consideration and the zor says in the exact same place you want everything to go smooth it's only if you do sacrifice only if you sacrifice. If you don't sacrifice, nothing will happen. That's why first thing that you read in the morning from all the different parts of the Torah, the sacrifice that Abraham took his son to put him on an altar for you to understand nothing will work in your life if you didn't sacrifice something. I told you you have to pay. You have to sacrifice. Nothing comes free. Nothing comes easy. Nothing comes free. But I can tell you already and I'm saying it in the most humblest way. I follow what I teach. I'm giving you the guarantee it works. I'm not complaining for anything and notem everything in my life is in I'm not opening my mouth. Everything is in order. And don't think that I don't have a hard like a I shouldn't say a hard life. My life is interesting. Very very full and very colorful. It's not a simple life. People think that I all day long sit in yeshiva and just uh you know no but with all the hectic crazy life that I have and I'm not complaining. I love every moment of my life but it's very busy from last time I was here which was about purim time I came back to Israel from Pesak till a week ago maybe two hours a night I slept for three months to prepare it two months tour and everything that has to do with it. I I I I need more time a day. I I do a job of maybe 20 people and delegate but everything is functioning how it should and with all the busyiness and craziness I still find the time to learn to pray to do my mitzvot my and many other things that's why I keep telling you and if you follow me a lot you probably hear for the last few years this is a problem right you heard me say that a few times because cuz that's how you waste your life. I don't do this. You do that. I also have phones. I have three phones, but I don't go like this. And I have all the social stuff junk here on my phone so I can let you know when I'm coming. But I don't let this control me. I don't have this because every moment of my life is so valuable. I'm going to waste it on some clown with 500 million views cuz he did some acrobatic show or some junk. I mean, the junk that is out there, it's unbelievable that it's actually working. And and you know, you can laugh as much as you want. You're all guilty. And I'm not saying it shalom to to hit you on your head. I'm just telling you wake up. But why am I attributing my success? And I'm saying it with all with all humility. I do what Hashem tells me to do and I do what I what what I teach. And and again, I'm emphasizing over and over as much as you need to hear. I am not how my father says licking honey from my fingers all day long. That's another term in Hebrew. You know what I mean? My life is very interesting, >> but I find time for everything. I know how to align everything. I know how to squeeze in in one day what would normally take three days, if not five days. I follow the rules. I don't teach and then I go home and do whatever I want. I first do whatever I need to do for 20 years, then I come and teach you. So the recipe that I'm giving you, it's proven to work. I'm the proof. I'm not coming and selling you stuff before I know that I tasted it myself. I'm not Fizer. I actually give you. [clears throat] >> Wow, what a delay. Was a 3-second delay. And the first one got it and then everybody wise, [laughter] but thank you for getting the joke. But I I I if I preach something, it's after I tested it. If I tell you do this, you'll have Sheffa in your life, you're going to start moving your mazal. Then I'll I I'll summarize it all for you. Because really tonight, what I'm giving you, I'm giving you keys. I'm giving you a chain. How do you call it? A block of keys. How do you call it? >> Keychain. >> Keychain. No, not a key chain. >> Like a a lot of keys. key. >> Wow. Let's ask Chad GPT. [laughter] >> Wow. I got here now 17 options of a keychain. A nice keychain. A round keychain. A big keychain. >> Who's the first one who's going to pull up chat GPT? How is it called? >> Another disease. >> H. >> Master key. How do you manage your time? >> I will with your uh permission uh conclude. And he has a very uh no no don't don't laugh. He has a very very uh smart question and very important question. I'll he just asked how do you manage your time [snorts] to start with >> my life? Everything is organized, written, planned, >> order, >> order >> and discipline. If it's time to pray between 5:30 to 6:30, that's when I pray. No. No. I sat today with four men. It a little bit doesn't matter. In the room, the room was worth about $100 million. Okay. One:00. Adios. I have to drive to New York. rules, boundaries, time. I don't let anything distract me. The problem is, and I spoke about it in many of my lectures, there is many different types of kipot. One of the kipad that we deal with it on the regular basis called kipat par. Why par? Because if you take the letters of pay mix the order it's and is something that disturbs you >> distraction not >> not distraction >> distraction >> not distraction distraction but comes to you and you need to focus on what you need to do and then your phone rings and the WhatsApp rings and your wife calls and suddenly you get some or whatever from whatever you constantly mo most people are very not uh productive. They're trying to do 10 things at the same time. They don't do nothing. I get thousands of emails every day. I don't even check them. But whatever. No, no. I have a system that somebody checking the emails. I have time a day that I read emails. I don't read the email as it comes in. emergency. There's an emergency number. I get beep on the I don't look at it because it's a distraction. If it's in a situation that I can look, then I look I don't come with this to the because it's a distraction and I pray pray pray pray. Suddenly the WhatsApp calls I see it's my wife. M you're not going to look distraction. You got distracted from the prayer. Now we were more or less the same age 40 years ago. You had phones? No. Somebody need to get to you. Call the office. Call the house. Leave a message. Life went very smooth 40 years ago without the instant messages. >> Better. >> So you ask how I manage my time. I don't let these and all this bothers me. It's time for me to check emails. I have half an hour where I read the emails. It's time for me to answer questions. That's the time. time to the the only time that my schedule is a mess is when I come to a tour like this and I know I just let go. I know it's going to be a mess. It's part of the fun. So I have no structure in a tour because I'm flights all the time. Starting next week, every two days I'm on a flight. And now imagine two lectures flight. Two lectures flight. So I'm like finishing a lecture at 1:2 in the morning. The flight is scheduled in the morning. So, I know that during a tour it's a mess that I don't care. But in my daytoday life, it's all about rules. It's all about being consistent. It's all about being organized. There's time for everything. When it's time to learn, everything moves aside. Now, I learn and I'd have no problem telling whoever it is, I'm sorry, now is not the time. >> Do you have a trip planner that helps you out the most? >> Yeah, we can maybe initiate that for it's actually a good idea, but but I want to focus first finish our lecture. I just wanted to answer you because it's all part of the same thing. It's part of your when you are organized. Why the Torah is so don't do this, don't do that. Not to drive you crazy. It makes your life full of rules and regulations and and uh uh uh uh structure to accomplish. >> And if you don't do that, listen here, I'm not here to show up for something. I really do a job of 15 men, but I have the time when I'm a father. That's it. You can't talk to me when I'm a father right now. I don't mix things. Time for everything. Says you have to know how to delegate your day. And this going like that for me. Everyone like that. That's I lost five minutes of my life. I I I value my time. I don't let people waste my time. Today I had a meeting. People now like to meet me when I come. Somebody talked and talked and talked. I told him Khabib, you have 20 minutes. Shut up. [laughter] You want me to talk or you want you to talk? If you want just you to talk, talk to the wall. I have other people to attend. I don't need you to tell me the whole story backwards inside out. You told me the question. Let me answer you. Then he's I told him your time you 19 minutes. So and listen I some people proceeded as rude. No don't take my time. Don't gazzle my time. I give you 15 minutes. That's what you get. Not you. I'm just saying. So how I how do I get efficient? I don't let things b come into when it's time to pray. You can't talk to me can call me. I'm not going to answer the phone cuz I remember 30 40 years ago nobody had phones. Wait till you come home. >> Something emergency happened. >> Emergency is something else. Happens to be I have a phone for I I carry a few phones. I have one phone that it's like the red phone the VIPs and that's it. That's I know that that phone is a group of people. Nobody has that number and that and that phone is available. But my wife and my kids know that if I pray at 7:30 I don't even look at it. My kids know there's a problem. Now there was a war in Israel. There's a problem. You know where I am. Run to the sh you'll get me. And again listen I don't want to get into too many details but everybody needs to take the same advice. If you don't run your life in a in a very precise way with everything is planned then you're wasting all your day and most people waste their time. But we're not talking today about wasting time. You have a very good idea maybe to do a whole lecture explaining how not to waste your time and how to value your time and how to utilize your time. Now I want to to teach you how to bring mazal [snorts] which is everything is connected by the way. But let's do a very very quick uh recap so you can go home with something. So we said first of all you have to follow a rule a few rules. Do you remember the rules? The first thing you have to want to do it. >> You have to bring yourself to a point that you want to do whatever it needs to be done. If you don't have the desire to do it, you won't do it. >> Is it the will or the desire? >> The will. The >> And the you have to develop a certain desire for that. If you go to pray every day because that's what Hashem said. You want to want to go to pray and I want to do it because it's good for me and I benefit from that. That's it. So first you need to have the desire. Second you need to remember nothing is for free. You want something to be effective, you want to want to pay for that. That's why when I know a lot of people when they come to different jewels and they start selling talot and this I know a lot of people don't like that at first I didn't like that too when you have your own jewel you start liking it >> but uh the point is that you you you have to understand that you are now penetrating the mitzvah with the meim you redeemed it it's yours nobody can question it And more than that, like I told you, you move them because you paid for what is you're supposed to get. Rule number three, I told you is marriage. I'm not going to talk about that too much. Next month and next month in two weeks is tub. There's going to be a lecture here in New York on the on the Sunday. I think it's August 10th. It's too lecture come. I'll tell you all about what you need to know for marriage, how to get married and to to maintain the marriage. This is not for this class. The major rule to have a very good successful happy marriage become a mute. The less you talk the more less trouble you'll get. But will do that. But the third is the structure of marriage. It's not good. You have to have that other half because the other half, your wife, your husband, that's what makes you grow. The resistance of coming to another person's life, if you're doing it the right way, you take off like a rocket. Most people come to marriage the wrong way. Their marriage is not fun. after you were able to bring yourself to a marriage and you have to maintain it and you have to maintain it with accepting the fact that your spouse and I spoke a lot about the women the the men would need to do it works both ways it's respect it's understanding it's making room for another person is understanding that the other person has their needs it's the best way to humble yourself is when Hashem puts another person in your life and Hashem makes it in such a way that in the beginning you fall in love with that person two years later you look at the person was like what did what was I on that shouldn't happen because if you're already drawn to that person originally why didn't it work which means that when you were drawn to that person initially wasn't the right reason why you were drawn to him maybe how the person looked maybe the amount of money that person had in the bank account or whatever it is that drew you to that person But I can already tell you when you have a good marriage, you you are happy person and things work well. When you don't have a happy marriage or healthy marriage, things don't work well. You're miserable. That's the the sad reality. Fourth is to know how to be quiet. And it's not only in marriage, it is in every situation. When you know how to take a step back and to give in, you you are becoming a much bigger bigger person. Sometimes you need to know when you put the foot down and to argue and to say no no no no there's a there's a line how much you can cross the line is a red line you don't cross it but all the rest I always start with a smile I always start with you're right I I you can see it always best always better to give sacrifice let go and then like I told you the most important part is doing chuva and the chuva is really the main part that one needs to do to follow the rules that I told you that's pretty easy but then you have to incorporate on that your chuva that way it comes a little bit more sophisticated because a lot of people either they say but I'm already I'm observant or the other side will say ah it's too hard it's too much it's too obligating it's too this it's too that I spoke with somebody the other day it was a very interesting conversation on Shabbat and I told that And Judaism, don't look at it as a religion. If you're looking at Judaism as a religion, then you're like any other go in any other country, in any other faith. We are not a a a religion. If you are a Jew, if you're a God-fearing Jew, you are doing what Hashem wants you to do. Somebody tells me you're religious. I'm not religious. I'm trying. I'm a God-fearing Jew. I try to fulfill what the Torah says to the best of my ability. Our sages say every part of your life has to be be in chuva. And I'll explain it very briefly and we can conclude and that's the way to do it. And it also ties into your question. I do chuva when the action happens. That's how you do chuva. You don't wait more than 24 hours. And that's why for 20 years I've been say the bedtime schma. Say the bedtime schma just for the sake of the example. How many people here in this room say every day bedtime schma the full version? >> See what I'm talking about? >> Now be honest. Don't don't the schma every night. So, we have here a few hundred people, I think, and five people raised their hand. That's bad. It's even worse when I'm hearing the whispers. What is he talking about? What's bedtime schma? [laughter] Well, alham. Why is it so important? Besides that, there's a lot of reasons. I'm not going to explain now. Go to my website or YouTube and Google Schma. You'll find enough classes. But when you say when you're saying the bedtime, you do chuva at the end of the day and you conclude the day. I sit on my bed after reading in my mind. Was I a good husband today? Do I owe my wife an apology? Was I a good h father today? Do I owe many of my kids an apology? Whereas was I was I a good neighbor. Do I owe anything to any maybe I owe you something? Maybe I promised you something, I didn't do it. Maybe you borrowed me money, I didn't give you back the Sudan. Instant when I shalom something and I'm not a when I fail, I I have the awareness that on the same moment I recognize that I failed. Everything stops till I do chuva. I don't leave it open. So I don't have to do chuva on yum kipur and I don't have to worry. Wait a minute. Maybe I did a sin that I worried about 20 years ago. Five years I worried about m what the sins that I maybe did and I reverse engineered nights and nights I stayed up praying to Hashem. Help me do chuva and he helps. Guarantee you do what he tells you to do. He will help you do chuva. I saw miracles of things that I I begged Hashem, help me do chuva. and people that I needed showed up in front of me and situations. So I was worried about if I didn't do chuva for a certain act 20 years ago. Now I don't have that worry because I do chuva the second the problem happens I will shalom say something right away stop sorry sorry mistake and you need to be very humble for that because in most of the cases your ego is going to be like you're right so the trick with chuva is that you instant do it you don't have to be a babasali you don't have to be the next best Jew in the world you need to be you need to follow of course what the Torah says, "You can't complain if you don't do what the Torah says. If you don't follow the Torah and you have issues in your life, don't dare to complain. First, follow the Torah what it tells you to do to the best of your ability. Don't be a a fake, especially to yourself. Then you can complain." And the rule is don't ever complain. Hashem doesn't like when you complain because Hashem gives you a lot. If you think that you're getting less, the problem is with you, not with Hashem. We should be very happy what Hashem gave you today >> the appreciation the thanking of whatever you have to thank Hashem for whatever today a lot tomorrow or less thank you for everything so chumisa is a very very important part here now in order to conclude what I said in theory is very easy to do but in practical it's not so easy so you need another element Some indala they have the custom to say a certain prayer that in the prayer you asking Hashem to open all sorts of gates right >> yeah indah that's what I said in some of the mashkazi don't do that it's mainly Miz and and nevertheless look at the the all what you're asking. Hashem opened the gate of the gate of wisdom and the gate of one time asked his what do you think is the most important gate? So the first student said the gates of parasan you don't have money you can't do anything he says you're right it's a very important gate but that's not the most important one and he the most important one so a different student says the gates of healing of health you're sick you can't do nothing very good gate very important but not the right one not the most important so each one has something to say That person says chuva is most important. Another person says the gate of atonement and everybody has their finally theto says all of you gave very good answers but not the right one. >> No noa. You want to guess take some guesses? >> I know you saw my video already. >> What's the answer? The daughter of the Bakadosh says, "I have I have what to say." He turns to her and she says, "The gates of help from above. If you don't have if you don't have help from above, you can't do nothing. You need the help of the kadosh. It's called Dishmaya. That's why you write on the things with the help of Hashem with the with the help of the heavens. The third key here that you need to know is you need to have the assistance of Hashem. That means something very very simple. It means that Hashem has to be in your life. Number one, he is the one. It's all about the everything is for the Yesterday I gave a class. I hope that you saw it online. Very important class. We broadcasted it on purpose that you can see it on the beginning of the third of the three weeks and I explained there that Balak that we just read the parasa last week got a merit that Mashiach is going to come through his lineage and I explained that Naomi is Balak is the great-grandfather of Naomi who got converted on betamuz yesterday. The Sanhedrin converted her. It says that she is converted on betamuz married Boaz on betamuz who was 400 at the time conceived of on that night who is the father of Ishai who is the father of Davidid and Bos died the next day. boss died. That's it. One night and that's it. And I explained yesterday, I'm not going to elaborate. Go and watch the class. But I said Balak who was a wicked individual had a merit because he built 42 he built a altars and he sacrificed 42 sacrifices. Bilam told him build me seven altars. I'll come and start build me altars. Allto together Balak did 42 sacrifices. So he got a merit that Ruth is going to be in his lineage. But that's imagine that he did these sacrifices lashem sham. He didn't do it for Hashem. He did it for himself. Can you imagine what happens to you when you do a sacrifice but that is it for Hashem. That's how you activate everything. All the rules that I tell you, follow them. Write it down. Follow them and apply them. Everything that I said the chuva, like I told you, you stumble on that moment you do chuva. As embarrassing that it might be, if you let it go, 3 four hours you forgot that it happened. The next day doesn't exist. A week pass, you don't remember it happened. And you think you're going to do chuvy kip for that. Now you have a sin that you don't remember that happened. Therefore, the moment you do the sin, you already do the chva on the moment, on the spot. And above all this, Hashem tells you, like I told you before, you take care of me, I'll take care of you. How do you take care of Hashem? You feed his kids. You teach his kids Torah. You bring his kids back to the Torah. You make his name great in the world. You fight for his honor. You do things for Hashem. And you need to ask yourself, when was the last time that I did something for Hashem. That's what you need to go out of this door tonight. And if you start applying that, your mazal will start changing. Now, I'm using the word changing on purpose because the mazal doesn't change. But what changes is everything in your life will start changing guarantee. But you have to follow the rules. Don't call me in 3 months and say it didn't work cuz I'm going to challenge you. Says did you follow everything? No, you didn't. And the proof is if you need one, follow the rules. I'm telling you, you'll see the mazal very very strong in your life. You will have challenges. You will have difficulties. You'll have all sorts of problems. But you're not going to perceive it as problems. You will accept these hardships as steps of growing higher and higher closer to Hashem. Hashem throws at me a challenge. I don't whine. I understand that this is a rope to pull me higher. The second the challenge has come, I right away look at the challenge. Okay, how are we dealing with it? And the first thing you do, Hashem. You wake up in the morning, Hashem. Everything. Hashem. I know it sounds fanatic and OCD. You see that woman over there? She has a hat. And vador, you have to walk with a hat like this in the street and tell people and vad. I know you're going to sound cuckoo, but you want your life to change, you got to work for Hashem. I work for Hashem. Best boss ever. Whatever you want, he gives you. Do you know many people who work for Hashem? Why is nobody answering? >> Forget about me. Do you know anyone who works for Hashem? >> You. How come neither one of you is answering? I'm work for I work for Hashem. >> Why do I need to squeeze it out of you? >> You have to say I I I want to work for Hashem. How do I work for Hashem? Then your money goes to Hashem. Your time goes to Hashem. Your love goes to Hashem. Everything goes to Hashem. Trust me, you will be so blessed. Do you understand what that means? I will give you so much blessing you don't you're going to scream die. >> Why are you laughing? I didn't make it up. >> Means give me more in Russia. You mean [laughter] >> I thought dai is no. >> Davi. Okay. More. No, it's d. Chuva, follow the rules and put Hashem number one. Your life will be changed completely from one way to the other. And I'm adding a disclaimer. It doesn't mean your life will your problems will disappear. You'll know how to deal with the problems. You'll have the the tools to deal with the problems. You will ignore 90% of the problems and they will take care of themselves. In most of the problems you have, Hashem tells you, "Don't interfere. It's part of the path. Just do what you need to do >> and I will make everything disappear." So, you need to understand a few things. Now, I'm going to let you go and you're leaving this door tonight. You have to program in your mind how you leaving the door tonight. How are you leaving the door? You had some nice laughs. can buy a souvenir soon. You should buy. I'm actually going to tell you you should buy. Then you're partnering with me, right? Great deal. You need to go out of this door tonight with a plan. You need to go out of the door tonight and saying, "Okay, tonight I'm going to read. Can you email me tomorrow? I did it. You won't email me. >> I'll give you my email. Please say tonight you'll see that tomorrow you wake up with a smile on your face and you're going to have a good mood and you're going to be inspired and you're not going to be depressed, sad, laidback, upset, discouraged, angry. You have the control to to change your life. I can come and show you the information. You need to do something. You need to take something on yourself and says, "Whatever you do, I'll do the same thing." That's it. The the the the simp is simple. And I'm telling you now, I'm not saying it to shalom show off. I'm saying it with a true humility. I follow the rules. I see myself very successful and it's Hashem not me but I walk on the path that I need to walk on. Hashem makes it successful. Whatever needs to be successful, it will be successful if it's Hashem Shamim. It's all about lashem shamim. I'll give you one example out of many because I want you to participate in what I'm saying. Few years ago I wanted I had a crazy idea and I wanted to make my own wine for kashut reasons not for anything else. I believe strongly in how what you put in your body will affect you tremendously. Different levels of kashyot affect you differently. One of them are the worst of all that affects you in kashoot is uncory wine. Do you think it's meat and dairy or meat that is a a dead animal or pork more than all that I just said is if you eat a worm this big a little worm like this is on your lettuce worse than pork worse than worse than how it's affecting your body you know that in Israel if you eat fruit and vegetables they weren't given mass and on it worse than eating worms Yeah, you're lucky here in that respect, but I will live in Israel any moment. Don't be so happy with your little worms on the fruit. The worst that can affect you spiritually is uncoral says it's the worst of the worst of the worst. Now, a lot of you saying, "Oh, yeah, of course I buy kosher wine." Sorry to disappoint you and I'm not promoting my brand. 90% of the wine out there and it's not kosher. So I wanted to make my own wine. So like I make everything I make by myself. I don't need to depend on anyone. I make my own wine. That's the po the purpose of the wine. >> What about meat? >> H meat >> right? Meat when I need to eat meat then we go and buy cattle. I live in the I'm not joking. We go back buy cattle where we have a shet. He slaughterers it and we buy good meat. I'm not a vegetarian, but I don't just eat meat wherever I want. And I did it when I lived in America, by the way. We were a group of people. We had a we used to buy cattle from from Pennsylvania. We had a shed. You used to slaughter it. Three times the amount, but you eat real normal food. >> I don't eat three and a half years. >> Good. Even better. >> Good. Even better. But nevertheless, why am I saying after I took care of my own needs, which is the Shem Shamine? Because I wanted my own kosher wine. Then I had some crazy thoughts. I think I shared it already once. I saw the Kanuka story and I was like, "Huh? When the won the war and they wanted to do and light up the minora, there wasn't any oil." You know the story. They had to wait 8 days and there was a miracle. There was oil. I'd had this crazy thought. What's going to happen if Mashia comes and there's going to be a little war and a little bit of action and balagan that's what's going to be but nevertheless what's going to happen if they build beta mikdash and they want to do cobano and there's no wine the go came and touched all the wine you so a few years ago I built a bunker with wine in there's 3,000 liters of wine in this nobody knows where it hidden and when Mashia is going to come and we're going to need wine wine. That was my that was my thought. I know it sounds very cuckoo but that's was my thought that one day we'll have to give this wine to beta mikdash. And I'm telling you something I don't know if I should or I shouldn't. >> Of course you should. When I went to my rabbi to get a blessing, I'm sure you saw in the pictures in the video blesses our wine and does all the mass in the [clears throat] Then I told him my plan and he the thing is I didn't tell him the barrels and all this and he came and told me you have a barrel that in one of your barrels there's wine that Mashia is going to drink That's from >> so later on and B and everything up until now it's all mem Shamim was not a business but when you do something Shamim last year a year and a half ago after the war with October 7 days after October 7 it was time to cut the grapes from my vineyard. >> I told you that story. I think I said it a few times that was shooting at us missiles, RPGs, machine guns. Yeah. Yeah. The under fire wine. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. You know the story. But the point is that I had a lot of wine. So I came to I came to my rabbi. I says, "Can I can I donate you? I have a lot of wine. You have a big yeshiva. You help a lot of people." He told me, "No, no, no, no, no. Don't don't don't put the wine in bottles. put a nice label with your name and sell it and I'll give you a blessing and you go and sell and that's going to bring you parasa for your organization. Look at the wares of the rabbi. A whole year and a half because of the war the whole north is shut down. No paranas for a year and a half. A huge income for my organization is my learning center invat for three months a shelter for soldiers. When they came back from the battlefield, I told my wife, "Bring all the female soldiers that you can have nice warm showers." And the whole building was just three months of shekel. A year and a half didn't come. Hundreds of thousands of shekels. If the wouldn't tell me to put the bottles in the in the the wine in the bottle. But why am I telling you this entire story? That's when you do something sham. There wasn't a thought, oh, I'll do a business here. I'll make money. The thought was, what am I doing good for Hashem? How can I help people to get good kosher wine? They should drink on pesta kosher wine not junk. When your thought pattern is how to can I do something to hashem then he makes you successful. He makes everything work because it's for him. It's not for you. You're not looking to gain anything from it. You're not looking to make something profit on it. When I come now, I come now, I came now to two months tour. Before I left, I did a whole ceu of all my favorite sadikim to go and pray there. Shall I have and I will be protected and the world should not collapse here and Trump should not go freak out on me. So I went to whoever you want all the whole north is rabbi isim and my prayer was I'm going now for two months help me shalom I should not come to an event and somebody will do a mistake because of me I want 100% of the people to do chuva I want my lectures to be beneficial >> I'm sacrificing here two months of my life I'm not sleeping at home I don't eat well my whole family slept with Hey, seven kids I have. They're all coming. It's a big sacrifice. It's to leave my comfort, leave my congregation, leave my sh, leave everything. My prayer was Hashem. Make it successful. It's for you. It's not for me. No offense. You think I need this headache? Sleeping on planes like this. And it's not an easy thing. >> Hem shamim. It's all for Hashem. I don't care if I sleep like this on a plane or if I sleep like this on it doesn't matter. It's for Hashem. Now, when you do something for Hashem, he does a lot for you. I do one step, Hashem does a 100. I'm telling you, that's how it works in my life. Some of you follow me for many years. 50 to 80% of my classes is my life is things that happened to me in my life and I make a class out of it showing the appreciation to God and the the miracles. You are not different than me. You're not different than me. Any person can reach to that. Any person can do that and should do that. And your mind frame needs to be when you're leaving this door tonight, what can I do for Hashem? Stop thinking of yourself all the time. What can I do for Hashem to make Hashem look good that my time goes to Hashem? I know it sounds all the trust me I worked for Hashem for 20 years. I told you already. Best boss. Best boss ever. Never is late with money. Promotions all the time. Everything that in my life is all to Hashem. I don't think okay I need to do it for myself and I need and I need and I need and I need a lot of things. I keep throwing it just seven kids. You need a lot. I never pray for myself. Hashem, I need this. I need that. Something's lacking in my life. What do I do? >> I can't I still can't hear you. >> No, I don't ask Hashem. find what's >> something is lacking in my life. I look what I'm not doing. Not coming to Hashem with complaints. >> His people >> I know no >> everything. You have an opportunity tonight to leave the door and change your life from one end to the other. It all how you leave the door. And by the way, I've been saying that for 20 years and every lecture I say that you're not here because you saw a WhatsApp or an email or a flyer or somebody told you you are only here and we have a full house in the lecture. We started advertising >> two days ago. >> Two days ago. Can you imagine if we would advertise you would have to stand? Where did you advertise? A few WhatsApps. That's it. Full house. And not because of the topic. Because Hashem wanted you to be here. So he made sure that you off work. He made sure you have parking. I was driving around here 40 minutes. No parking. I don't know how you found parking. But I didn't find any parking. I parked in I think I parked in Long Island. [laughter] >> But how somehow you all got here >> and Hashem wanted each and every one of you to be here. Everything is precise. Who comes first? Who lives first? Who falls asleep? Who sits at the end? Everything is precise. You didn't come here by chance. You came here because wanted you to hear what I have to say. And if you leave the door tonight and you don't apply a certain action, not only that you lost the opportunity, you broke Hashem's heart. Hashem invited you to go out of this door tonight, take all this information and say, "Okay, I'm going to apply everything, but not for a day or two, forever." Because it's not going to work if you do it for a day or two. And then you'll come to me after three months and say, "It didn't work." Well, you only did it three days. You have to shift your reality. You want your reality to change. If you're happy with your life, by the way, I don't know why you're sitting here. If everything is well in your life, besides some Torah, you're free to go. >> I'm assuming if you're sitting here, things are not working so smooth in your life. >> There so all sorts of issues. So, I'm coming and giving you the keys to all your problems to open all your to solve all your problems. It's all about Hashem. It's nothing is about you. Why did I keep telling you the marriage? That's how you practice it. That's how you practice your humility and your anova and your no problem. And your I move back a little bit. When you know how to do that with your wife, you're going to do it with everybody. And then eventually you'll do it with Hashem. And eventually you'll become an Hashem. And when you become what Hashem wants you to become, life will become what it should be. You're going to be fulfilling your purpose. You're going to still have challenges. You're going to have problems. You're going to have headaches. You're going to have everything. But it's going to be with a smile on your face. It's not going to be with worrying. It's not going to be with the freaking out where am I going to get the next payment for my rent? And it's all going to be part of the program. You're going to smile the next time the challenge comes because you understand that's a step going higher. So all is left for me is to wish you that Hashem should bless you not only that you should fulfill everything that I told you that you should do it >> flying colors. Shem should bless you that you should all have the true and true and have success in everything that you need to do to find your true purpose, true happiness in your life. And you should find your true purpose in life and fulfill it and the ultimate ultimate purpose that we should invite Hashem into this world and see Hashem physically in this world. should come here in mercy and with we should see the coming of Mashia very soon.
