Shalom everyone. I hope you are doing
amazing wherever you are and I really
hope that you're taking advantage of the
period of Sefirat Omer to refine
yourself, to better yourself, to do
teshuvah, to work on your midot, and to
bring yourself to a much, much higher
spiritual place.
And with that said, I want to ask you a
question.
Do you feel that your life is stuck and
it's not where you would want it to be?
Maybe you have financial difficulties,
maybe health issues, or struggles with
your spouse, or struggles with raising
your kids, or you can't find your other
half, or anything in your life that you
just feel that life is stuck and things
are not working out for you how you
would want them to.
If this is the situation in your life,
you have to understand that sometimes
Hashem does things in our life not in a
form of punishing us, rather to raise a
question in our mind that maybe I'm
doing something wrong.
So, sometimes when things don't go well
in your life or they don't work out how
you want to,
it's kind of like a warning light for
you. Like driving in the car and the
lights turns on telling you that you're
running low on gas. That's not a
punishment, that's a warning light
telling you, uh, if you don't fill up
gas, you'll get stuck.
So, many times in our life Hashem does
things and puts us in situations really
just to tell us, "Hello, you're not
walking on the right path. You need to
change your path. You need to do
teshuvah.
Look inside yourself. Do introspection.
Do cheshbon hanefesh."
So, really, when we find difficulties in
our life, in many situations it's Hashem
telling us we're not walking on the
right path and what is required from us
to do is to do teshuvah, is to
introspect, to do cheshbon hanefesh, to
see maybe I'm doing something wrong in
my life and I need to better myself.
The reason I'm telling you that is
because tomorrow night is a very rare
opportunity. It's a holiday that we only
have one of a kind of it. It's called
Pesach Sheni.
It's a second opportunity. Hashem is
telling us on this night I'm going to
give you a second chance to do teshuvah,
to look on inside yourself, look at your
behavior, be a little bit critical about
your behavior and your actions. Do
teshuvah, look inside what you're doing
wrong and repent and I will forgive you.
We don't have much opportunities in our
life that is a second chance.
So, tomorrow night, Thursday night, and
Friday is Pesach Sheni, a second chance
to do teshuvah.
Not only that, it's also the hilula of
Rabbi Meir Baal Haness.
And more than that, that's the day when
the manna started coming down from
Shamayim.
And this year it falls on Erev Shabbat
on Friday.
I have, uh, prepared a page on my
website at smud.org/pesach-sheni.
The link is underneath this video. I
will highly recommend to you to go visit
this page. First of all, there's a
lecture on this page that I highly
recommend for you to see, which will
explain to you in the most simple way
and in the most deep and profound way
everything you need to know about Pesach
Sheni. What's the opportunity? What can
be achieved? What needs to be done on
this day?
Along with instructions on this page,
everything that you need to do because
we have a few things that we do. We eat
matzah. We light a candle for Rabbi Meir
Baal Haness. We want to give charity. We
want to do teshuvah. We want to pray and
so forth.
Go visit this page. Watch the lecture
over there. Follow all the instructions
on this page because really this is a
once-in-a-year chance to do teshuvah and
we have a message from Hashem telling
us, "Repent. Change your path. I will
give you a second chance and I will give
you the blessing that you need in your
life." So, why why would you wouldn't
you want to take advantage of such a
powerful day? There's some prayers to be
to to recite. You'll find it on the
page. Give some charity to create
yourself a spiritual vessel. Do
teshuvah, repent. Just do what you need
to do because it's a once-in-a-year
opportunity that where we get a second
chance from Hashem.
More than that, I'm going to be going to
the grave of Rabbi Meir Baal Haness to
pray there. So, if you want to submit
names for me to pray in your behalf,
please use the same page. You'll find
the link there where you get where you
can submit names.
Highly recommended to give tzedakah,
charity, on that day. Part is your
teshuvah. As we know in the famous quote
on Yom Kippur, tfilah utshuvah
utszedakah maavirin et roa hagezeirah.
Teshuvah, repentance, prayers, tfilah,
and tzedakah, charity, remove the evil
of the decree. The charity that we
collect, we we spread it out to needy
families and Torah scholars to learn
Torah.
And as usual, we offer on every $180
donation, we will send you, only in
America and in Israel, a bottle of my
special wine from here from Israel with
a special blessing received by my rabbi,
Rabbi Dov Kook from Tiberias.
And take advantage of this day. Don't
let this day pass. It's Thursday night
and Friday.
It's Erev Shabbat. The prayers should be
recited on Friday afternoon because it's
right before Shabbat. Take advantage of
the day. Do teshuvah.
And follow all the instructions on this
page. Share this video with everyone
that you know, that everybody should
know that they have this opportunity.
And don't let this day go by like as a
another regular day. So, again, at
smud.org/pesach-sheni.
Share the video. Share the the link. I
will post another video tomorrow with
more information, but don't miss out.
It's once-in-a-year opportunity that
Hashem is telling us,
"I'm giving you a second chance." All
you need to do is change a little bit
your path, especially on the on time of
the Omer. Refine yourself. Look inside
yourself. You must be doing something
that is not 100%. We all have little
things that we need to get better at.
And when you acknowledge that and you
repent, that's when Hashem says, "I'll
give you another chance." And you'll see
that when you do teshuvah and you change
your path and you do a little bit of a
sacrifice to add more Torah and mitzvot
and some sacrifice with your money and
give it to charity, even though times
are hard, then you see that Hashem opens
to you all the doors of opportunity.
Things just start working better in your
life. Things become much more
comfortable and convenient. And and you
don't want to let this opportunity go.
And really take advantage of these 24
hours to do teshuvah, to better
yourself, especially at the time of the
Omer. Also, next week is Lag BaOmer. I
will post more videos about that. We
have a few amazing opportunities coming
up. But take advantage of Pesach Sheni
and may Hashem bless you with everything
that you need in order to have the best
best Pesach Sheni and Hashem should
bless you all with great parnassah,
health, sustenance, happiness, and
peace, and everything that your heart
desires. And may all your prayers always
be answered to serve Hashem in the best
way possible.
