Okay. Now I know where to come to tea >> usually. Yeah. Really? I go to a lectures, they bring me the key, coffee. [clears throat] Not long ago, I went to the lecture. The person told me, "You want coffee?" "Sure." I don't know. I think he poured the whole thing in the cup. [laughter] Took a look and I'm in front of people's coffee. Amazing. Amazing coffee. doesn't >> look in the meantime. The ones online, can you hear me? Well, shalom from Texas. Shalom from Brooklyn, can you hear me? The guys online. >> Good. Very good. Yes. Yes. Very good everybody. We're going to have a very good lecture. Somebody's going to change your life tonight. And if you ask me why is because it took me a lot of difficulties to come here. So the more difficulties, the more the crowd needs to hear what I have to say. must be somebody here is going to win the lottery tonight and not the 400 million you have in here in New York the the chuba lottery especially on roar. So without further ado cuz we're already only 48 minutes late. So that's 48 gazillion million mitzvot for each and every one of you. You know the Mishna says you go to the you have a a reward for do going. You got to uh pray. You have you have thear is a reward for for praying for for everything. So you've been waiting patiently. Before we start, let's dedicate the class to the immediate recovery for should have an immediate recovery, miraculous recovery. And with him is who needs and every day all I hear is just problems. So Hashem should bless everybody who needs a strong health to have immediate recovery, strong health, strong body. Whoever needs parasa, should have good parasa, whoever needs to get married should find their true other half. >> Whoever needs salvation, Yeshua, whatever hashem, whatever you need, Hashem should bless you in the best way possible in such a special day. [snorts] We're going to have a very special lecture tonight. And the reason I'm saying special because I I'll tell you in a second the difficulties to come here. And tomorrow night we have an amazing event in Queens. And if you can't make it physically, it's going to be broadcasted. And uh Wednesday will be the last lecture of this tour also in Queens where we are going to be discussing the uprising dangers of this wonderful land that you live in and whether you should stay here for eternity [laughter] or finally get yourself moving towards Israel because anyways we're all going to be there very soon. So why are you staying here? Unless you have something very important to do here, then uh come on Wednesday and to hear if you should stay here or not, which I'm already telling you. Mom Danny just called me today. Told me don't don't don't stay here. I don't like you guys. Don't stay here. >> So, >> I'm sure you noticed >> people would like to know where they can watch it online right now. Uh uh right now if you want to send the link to people to see uh first of all if you go to my YouTube and where it says videos it has a few tabs and it will say regular videos shorts and live. So one needs to click on the live. If there's a if you go on my website or my my uh WhatsApp or any of the social media there's going to be the direct link to the video but the easiest is to go to YouTube uh to to my channel. If you don't know what it is, doing the search Rabbi, it will pop up. You go to the channel, go to the video section where it says live. Click on it and you see the live video and that's where it's uh posted. And uh after a day or two, we post the good uh the good version, the that camera uh edited and uh clearer, better. And but this is for anyone who wants to join us. And uh and this is it's amazing. And we have people here. Somebody just said hello from Yukon, Canada. You know where Yukon Canada is? They have snow now from here to the city. So it makes the New York look like a shame, right? So the lives are great. We have great technology. So we can uh share the Torah all around the world. And if you have it live now on your phone, maybe put it low because it does echo. So, yeah, share the video. If you are on YouTube, then just share the video directly. And uh needless to say, sometimes all it takes is just to share a video. you know that just the other day I was in Florida and some a man came up to me uh and uh he just said came up to say thank you and he just came to tell me that somebody sent him a link of one of my videos and uh and now he's a very observant rabbi with six kids I think and teaches Torah and everything and Mamasha [snorts] a fullblown god-fearing Jew a rabbi and five six kids mash unbelievable to see it and all because somebody sent him a video and told him you got to see this guy's video. Can you imagine the merits this that the person who did the sharing has that he has a whole family now religious and now kids and more kids and mitzvot and you know that uh I don't remember in years it's not so important maybe 15 years ago when I started recording videos in the beginning I had a video it was like the size of a you know production company you know those videos with big cassettes and to carry it you know, take me 3 days just to figure out the cassette, take it out. All the editing was such a headache. So, at some point, you know, technology was better. There was smaller cameras, digital with memory cards. I said, I got to buy myself a normal camera. I didn't have money. So, I put on the Facebook little post, anyone is interested, I'm doing classes if I'm looking to some donations to invest in a camera. 20 minutes later, some guy says, "How much is it?" I said, "I don't know. I didn't I have to look." So he says, "Okay, look. I want good camera, good microphone, everything good. I want you to have very good I want to buy the whole system." I went to B&H Chick online, whatever it was. 3 seconds later, the money is in my PayPal. Young guy bought a camera, not this one. From then they already have more cameras, but he bought the first camera. Can you imagine that camera probably produced about 150 million views? Not to talk about how many mitzvot one man bought off camera. Now he has unlimited mitzvot in shama for the thousands and thousands of hours. It's not even thousands in millions. And we were talking here millions of views. So it's billions of hours of Torah. One little move. So sometimes all you do is press a button and you buy yourself. You can't even imagine. So share the video. Share the information. It's always good. That's how you can partner with everything that we do. And waking up people is a very very special mitzvah. You know, I don't I have a little bit of a disagreement with myself. I don't like coming on tours. It's very hard, very demanding, very very challenging. Look how much white hairs I have. I didn't have these white hairs three weeks ago. And not these wrinkles. And not all these wrinkles. It's very very it's a I don't using the word stressful because I don't get stressed but it's a lot a lot. So naturally I don't like coming. I'm not I don't sleep in my bed. I don't eat well. I don't pray well. I pray on highways. I eat on in cars. It's very demanding. I actually [snorts] uh next time I'm going to come. I'm going to have my kids always come with me. I'm going to have them film everything that goes on prior to the arrival of the lecture and we're going to make a documentary how it looks to travel by and I can guarantee to you you'll appreciate the classes much more. You think I just come here all dressed up nice, full, satisfied, ready to just teach. Yeah, I I got dressed like 10 minutes ago and uh and I get dressed in the car. I told you, eat in cars, pray on highways. It's not fun. >> It's not fun at all. And not being around my family and and and in my surrounding and having my drawers where you open the drawer, you pull your own underwear, you don't go through a bag looking for where's my underwear. So there's a lot goes on in the back scenes and actually if you would see what goes in the back scenes I told you you'll appreciate the classes much more the the madness the chaos that goes in it and uh so why am I saying that because normally I don't like coming it's it's very demanding very hard [snorts] very hard that's the part where you have to be like a we appreciate what you do. But on the other hand, I get to see the people who listen. I don't see my students. There's 20 people who sit with me in spat that learn and half of them sleep while I teach, you know. They just come to fill the room. They don't have to come. No. So, there's really like five students that sit in front of me and then the rest I don't see. So, it's very fun for me. It's very exciting for me to meet people who come and tell me, I watch your videos. I I I change. I like this video. I like that video. Ask me questions. So, it's satisfying for me to see the fruits of our hard labor and uh to see how it's affecting people. So, I know that the hard effort of my my myself and my team and not only that, all the ones who actually share the information and I see with my own eyes the people who get affected. So, do yourself a favor, click a a little button, you'll gain a lot in your life. So, I'm sure you notice there wasn't a flyer till yesterday and in the flyer was very very uh how do you say pale? He's coming tomorrow at 8. Usually the flyers are a little bit more invested. So uh that's just uh to explain to you how everything was last minute. Nothing was uh everything is very dynamic and changes and more than that I didn't even know what I'm going to teach. Usually I I think in advance what am I going to teach? What's appropriate for for the time the lectures are decided in advance and many times I get uh how do you say stomped come now? What do you want me to teach? I don't know. Just come. So I thought the whole way here what I'm going to talk about and uh I think I don't think I decided I'm going to title this class is don't worry it's not worth it. And I'll tell you very quickly what I mean uh by sharing a few uh incidents in the past that happened the past few days. As I mentioned the lectures are not uh you know the the tour is just seems like everything goes very easy and smooth. So I was I started the tour in Los Angeles then we went to Denver from Denver to Miami. 99% of what we plan everything nothing works out. That's that's how Hashem likes to make my life interesting. You would think that when somebody goes to teach Torah and to help other people that like Elazer the path will just open everything will be set everything will be easy and I will just come sit talk and leave. So, Hashem wants my life to be also interesting, not only yours. So, he makes sure that nothing works out. But really, nothing works [clears throat] out in levels that you see that it's not it's not human. It's only Hashem saying, "I'm going to I'm going to run the show here and whatever will come out of it depends on you." And just to give you a very small example of many things, Thursday night I'm in Florida did the last lecture. The intensity of the day before the lecture I'll share in a second, but comes the end of the lecture. It's time to go home and get ready to the flight. I finish the lecture, go to where we stay, we start packing. So far everything goes well. It's about uh 3:30 in the morning and we're preparing everything and the plan is to leave the house around 4. We leave the house, everything is going as planned. Everything is how it should be until I reach to the highway and the highway is blocked for construction. Okay. 4:00 in the morning, the highway is closed. I already look up. >> [laughter] >> is like we started. We didn't even start. So the ways takes me now on a huge detour. Just added to the ways another 15 minutes. Okay. I took enough time. We make the big detour. Come to the other uh ramp to the highway. Also closed. Completely closed. Okay. So, I already understand. Okay. Ivante, [laughter] from 60 m an hour, it goes to 90 miles an hour. A lot of uh traffic violations because I'm like, if I'm if I'm not coming to the airport on time, there's going to be an issue. And uh and then of course, anything that can go wrong goes wrong. 4:00 in the morning, traffic. Traffic. Who's up at 4:00 in the morning to make the traffic? But I already see by how things are moving that I don't want to say it with my words. Okay, we're missing the flight because then like So I'm like, okay, it's going to be interesting. Buckle up. And then from 90 miles an hour, it goes to 120 an hour. And somehow miracle, I don't even know how. That's Hashem's thing. To the airport, we make it on time. Checking in. Everything's fine. you know, another four white hairs. Like, why can't I just drive normal? Why why why can't the highway just be open and I'll drive slowly? [whistles] Why do I have to drive 100 miles an hour and like zigzag between cars? Because if I'm every minute here, why? I don't ask why. I just sit patiently and I So, we check in, everything's fine. Then we get to the security. I look at the security, I'm like, "Okay, [laughter] we missed the flight." Now I'm already I think like seven steps ahead. So when I booked the flight, I booked it specifically with Delta because they have every hour a flight to New York. Other companies don't have it every 3 hours, every 5 hours. So I need every hour. Sure [snorts] enough, line from the security. You never seen anything like that. And needless to say, we miss the flight by 3 minutes. And I'm used to it. It's like a normal thing that missing flights. And of Shabbat, of course, on the way to a Shabbaton, people are waiting. What do you want? [snorts] What the point is not to get upset. Okay, we pass the security. The trick here is to stay calm. I come to the desk there. Chick chick. We changed the flight. Now a 3-hour delay. I have to wait 3 hours. So instead of landing at 10:00 in the morning, I land at4 to 1 in the afternoon of Shabbat. Somehow when I land, it's only like - 7. [laughter] I was I was following the temperatures for the last 3 weeks, praying. No, come on. Come on. at least that the minus should be in two digits and uh and uh and and we land and you would think everything would just go smooth. I land 45 minutes just looking for the suitcases that came with the other plane. Now normally they just leave them there. Mine they have to take to the other side of the airport to keep them. So 45 minutes to wait for the to the suitcases. And what do they bring after 45 minutes? Four luggages instead of five. Where's the fifth? No, you only have four. No, I have five. You have fifth. I have four. I HAVE FIVE. I'M TELLING YOU, I have five. Ah, still I have I forgot. I can't get upset. I have five suitcases. Please, if you don't mind, I am very late. Please get me the fifth suitcases. So, and then then I was like, "Okay, we'll delegate. My kids on the suitcases. I'm going to get the car rental." I go outside. The AAS shuttle comes, the budget shuttle comes, thrifty, national, all the shuttles come. Mine doesn't come. 40 minutes. I'm freezing to death. >> Why? Where's the shuttle? So, at this at this point, I'm like, "Okay, I can't take this. I'm going to take a cab. I'm going to the other side of the airport." I get in the cab. The second I seen the cab, the guy starts screaming at me. out there. I get into his cab and only to take him to the car rental and what passes us the shuttle. [laughter] I tell him to take me off the shadows here. No, you're already I started the meter. Okay, so take me already to the And the whole way he's screaming at me and then finally we come to the car rental. No cars. No cars. I'm like, what do you mean no cars? I made a reservation. Haven't you seen the episode with Seinfeld? I made a reservation for you to hold the car. No reservation, no car. I mean, I Okay, so they're giving me a car that maybe I can fit there with one bag. >> I said I have five five people and nine suitcases. I need something a little bit big. >> F somehow they give me some weird truck and everything takes so long that you can already rip hairs. And then we go into the finally we pick everything up, put in the GPS. Now for I'm going to the Shabbaton. 1 hour and 40 minutes. >> What? Now we're hungry, thirsty. We stopped for 1 minute. I'm not making it for Shabbat. And sure enough, I come to the Shabbat 14 minutes before Shabbat. I managed to take a very quick shower and to that's it. And into a Shabbaton, like a fullblown Shabbaton. And then of course, you know, I didn't sleep at all on the plane. I put my head like this a little bit. And then at night, they kept me to like 4 in the morning. 4 in the morning. Like, oops, we got to pray tomorrow. Oh, really? I forgot. I totally forgot that we got to wake up in the morning to pray. And this is one scene out of many, many scenes of the adventures of Rabbi Abba. >> [snorts] >> And it's always like that. It doesn't there's no break. Nothing's easy. Pressure. Everything is the last minute. Now you ask yourself, forget about the why. How do you deal with it that it's not going to affect you in a way that you really pull hairs out of your head and I don't know, you scream at the entire world? I'm giving you one example. I mean, you can imagine the pressure in my mind. the guy who's running the Shabbaton is calling me like a maniac and I'm like listen I I missed the flight and don't worry [laughter] don't worry everything will be fine I'm the one who's taking all the pressure not you almost fainted from the pressure from like I'm not going to come [laughter] I told him listen it's the test is for me not for you I mean obviously for you too but don't worry I've missed many flights I always come on time for what I need to which really I always say IM like Why? Why you just have to be melee? The people are waiting for me. I know that things will work out because it says in the Mishna in fact in the ethics of the fathers that you have this the merit of the of the public then it's helping you. I always ask myself what if I wouldn't have this of the public where would I be? Where would I be? stuck in some airport somewhere. So you would think a lot of people think that the that when you come to do something good that you're going to have a lot of say that's the hell from above everything will just open happens to you that you want to do something good and all that happens is just bad nothing works out all the difficulties all the challenges financial damages ages, stress, health problems, headache, you get insulted, people turn to you, blame you for everything. I mean, I'm just trying to do something good for God's sake. And I'm like eating here. So, I'm already used to that. I'm doing this for 22 years. I'm already used to it. But even though it's pretty exciting every time from the beginning to how do you control yourself in situations like that, not to break down, not to lose your your your your calmness, not to get upset. And then of course the big question is how do you not worry? How don't you worry? How do you how do you have the faith that everything will work out how it's supposed to? 50% of the time it doesn't even work out how you want to. I find that the more you you try to walk on the path along with Hashem, then he makes things very difficult in a way that a you wonder why. B it causes you to branch out to many new challenges. And the first one is controlling yourself. Controlling the anger first of all, controlling the the words that come out of your mouth at the time of the anger. Look how many tests, how many challenges you have, and then being calm to figure out what am I doing with the situation. Then having the belief, the it will work out. Not having the doubt, not questioning Hashem. Why are you doing this right now? Well, I'm I'm not going to rob a bank. I'm going to give a lecture. Why can't you just open the path that it will be easy? Why do I have to go into so much difficulties? And then you know that every difficulty invites a lot of challenges because when you're in a rush, you drive fast, you think fast, you talk fast, you answer fast. And when you do things in under pressure, especially in my situation, sometimes I sometimes I told you I eat in the car. And then suddenly the food is over me. Then then Hashem is like, you know, you're you're at the edge and he just throws the last one. So you have two options. Option number one is feeding into this and most likely you lose. And option number two is just letting Hashem do his thing and understanding that I know it's I know it's annoying to hear it but it's a test. She wants to see your reaction and uh you all know Hashem doesn't give presents for free and more than that Hashem doesn't wrap his presence nice. The Sam the Satan wraps his presence very nice. It's all wrapped with glitter and colors and it's inviting and enticing and it looks so good how the Satan wraps his presence in a way that you are like Shem doesn't wrap his presence. He hides his presence in a very concealed way that you are almost willing to lose that present just by like leave me alone. I I don't want nothing. Just leave me alone. And the worst thing that happens in situations like this is that a certain attribute surfaces up and that's where you start getting challenged and that attribute is your beton is your amuna. How much how much trust you have in Hashem because when you don't have the beton and you worry then uh the worry can drive you crazy. Most people have a lot of worries how they're going to get the money for the next payment. Uh paying the rent, paying the tuition, unfortunately all sorts of health scares. Just recently a good friend of mine told me how they whatever found a situation with his heart and uh very worried to to a point that he probably made him sick from being worried. very easy to worry very easy to worry what's going to be where where am I going to find a solution I'm not talking right now on global things I'm talking about in your in in your life sometimes you wake up to some news I wake up every day in the morning to news that okay that's the challenge of the day and it's usually like a five ton challenge that's how I wake up that's how I wake up that's why I told you always I know don't touch my phone in the >> [snorts] >> too depressing to touch the phone in the morning. You just open the phone, you see 17 emails that you don't want to see. So that's why I don't touch the phone. Denial somehow. And you know what? >> And somehow when you don't touch the phone in the morning, then half the problems that were already in the morning on the phone waiting, they somehow get taken care of >> somehow. So why worry? Why don't you need to worry? You know how you say worry in Hebrew? You write alf. So it has the letters of the alphabet starting just it's missing the bit. It has the al if then a giml then a dal then a hey. missing the bit. Missing the beton. When a person worries he doesn't have beton. He doesn't have the trust that Hashem will pull through and then starts all the worrying and starts of course can be anxiety can be freaking out can be so many different things that will cause the person from this point to go through what they're going to go through. Now imagine now now let's go back to the scene of me seeing the highways closed. The second I saw the construction on the highway I knew that's it. this flight is we missed this one. But with me, it's a normal thing. So I already see two steps ahead. I see what's going on. Okay, this one. We're missing this one. I don't already think how am I going to get to the next flight? What's going to be the this solusion? I don't think of that. That's what would cause me to worry. I'm telling you already the second the highway was closed and with all the construction I didn't want to say that because I didn't want to bring it down strong to the world in my mind I was like okay we missed this point but I'll still try. Now my trying is extreme. I'm not telling you to do extreme trying. My extreme trying was like I'm going to drive fast. I'm going to drive fast and a few uh illegal maneuvers, some traffic violations, but that I don't care that that I believe I have a sat at Dishaya. And that's where I test Hashem. That's the joke here. Oh, you want me to be late? I'll test you now. I'm going to fly on the highway. We'll see if I'm going to get pulled over or not because if I get pulled over or not, that's your responsibility. You deal with it. So, the conversations between me and Hashem are very entertaining while this is happening. But I always have the hope I can make it. I'll make it. I'll make it last. But it's like already a challenge. Let's see if I can actually make it. So I do the I do my effort and I say I know it's 99% not going to work, but I'm not giving up. I'm going to give a certain level of effort. And I'm sure you had situations like that. It's extremely stressful because you're thinking, you're like, "Oh my god, what's going to happen now?" And you're thinking of a meal and things. And in the meantime, you know, the most annoying question in the car comes up. Are we stopping to eat? It's 4:00 in the morning. What do you need to eat? And if we stop, even to breathe, we're not flying. So, how can you don't answer a question like that with anger? Yes, honey. If we have time, we'll stop to eat something. In the meantime, starve because we're not stopping for anything. Get used to the hunger. And my answers are like there's hostages sitting in tunnels and you worrying about your your your your sandwich. So, I'm sure as parents and as normal uh people when you're in the most stressful situation, then the annoying question comes. Everything that that can blow your your your patience, that's when it comes and then nothing works out. all the kiosks don't work, the credit card doesn't work, this doesn't work. That the point here is a not to worry, not to stress over it. And the real trick here is just to step back and to let Hashem do his thing. That's really the trick is just to step back and let Hashem do his thing. Because if right now you need to be delayed, I know why I need to be delayed. Why am I trying to bend something that it's not supposed to happen? There's a certain story. I heard the story in two versions. I heard the story with King Solomon and I heard the story with the BMPto. Which one is the right one? I don't know. But I'll tell you the story. It doesn't really matter what the point of the story is. [snorts] The story goes there was a certain individual who came to either the balto or the I heard both versions and told him I want to learn the language of the birds. I want to I want to know what they're saying. So he told him listen I heard it with the balento so I'm just going to say okay if you [snorts] heard it with the comes before the balto but nevertheless he tells him I want to learn the language of the birds. He's like, "Why? Why do you need this headache?" He's like, "Cuz I want to I know they they're angels and what they whisper is words of prophecy or messages from Hashem. I want to hear." No, he says, "Look at you. You don't want to. Why do you need this headache?" He persists. He says, "Okay, I'll teach you." So, he teaches him the language of the birds. And sure enough, that man walks in the street. He sees a few birds on the trees and he hears them like whispering. So he's listened to them and uh he hears that the birds are saying, "Oh, this man here who is walking with a cow that provides to him is paralas, the cow is going to die." So he he hears the cow is about to die. He pries away, puts the car cow in a safe place, make sure he guards it. No animal will come and touch it. That's his pagnas. That's where he gets his money. And well, sure enough, he saved the cow. Wow. I knew it. I knew I had to learn the language of the birds. Weeks pass by. He walks again, hears the birds whispering. He puts his head close and he hears that the birds are saying that this man's house is going to catch on fire. He runs to his house, starts moving all the flammable things, putting water everywhere, preparing everything, sealing what needs to be done. Boom. And he saves the house. Weeks pass down the line and then he hears that the birds are saying that this man is going to die very soon. He runs to the Belgian. What am I going to do? They said I'm going to die. He told him, I told you not, you don't need to listen to their language. It's not going to do any good. No, but what am I going to do? They said, I'm going to die. What am I going to do? So, they told him, "You fool, you did a certain sin and you were uh judged to death." So, they didn't want to kill you. So, they rolled over the judgment to kill your cow because when they kill your livelihood, your when you don't have money, a person who's poor is considered dead. So they wanted to help you and and take away some of your parasa but you had to save the cow and then it was became already much more severe. They rolled it over and said we're going to okay we'll burn down his house. Same thing a poor person is considered dead. You had to save your house. So now the decree is right on you and you can't change it. So stressing, worrying or any other way when a situation happens. Do you understand now how foolish it is? When I miss the flight, [clears throat] I I just That's the part where I put the cruise control. Let a shim drive. Let a shim drive. Not worth my my stress. I was now I visited my friend in Denver. where we had amazing amazing lectures and my friend has a Tesla, a Cybert truck. He gave me to drive it. It's like driving a dumpster. That's what it is. And maybe in Democratic states, it's good to drive it. Driving in a Republican state, all those rednecks in them, in Colorado, fingers and all sorts of signs, they don't. You don't like Trump, we don't like you. So, I bet it's a car. Relax. It's a car. the owner of the company of the car doesn't get along with your president. It's a car. Relax. But anyways, why am I telling you that? Because when he showed me how to drive, he showed me the how do you call it? The drive by yourself mode. >> Autopilot. >> Not autopilot. It's called drive. >> Self drive. >> So, you put the self-drive mode and the car just drives. You're just sitting there. You can do whatever you want. look at your phone and which car just drives. Now in the beginning it's very worry you worry I I need to trust this thing and going to take me into a wall. So you know it's in the beginning a little bit uh how do you say stressful but then you'll see that it's working well. You just sit there and you enjoy the ride. And everything in life, you need to take something for your every second in your life. In every path you walk on, you need to monitor the situation. What am I taking here for my life? I [snorts] gave a class last week in Florida talking about time, time management, the the concept of Cababala, what it teaches about time. and uh and and we were talking of how important it is that time really doesn't exist in the world above. There's no such thing as time past, present, future. There's no such thing in the world above. The time in the world above is called situations and I explained that every part of our life, every second of our life is a frame like we had in the olden days in pictures in film. So every situation of my life is a frame and I need to stop look at the frame understand what's not good in this frame and edit it and remove the details that need to and I edit it and I did shuvine I fix that frame that's why most people I I say all the time you waste your time if you're all the time wasting your time on nonsense when are you going to do the fixing of that and when you don't do that it rolls over and then you have three years of tikonim to do that's Why most people they can't handle their and they feel burnt out and heavy and stressful and to come to the sh because you're carrying work of years that you were supposed to break it down into every day a certain portion. So when you're looking at life as frames you have to see that every frame there's something to do there. There's a certain Most of the times just best to give put the drive mode the autopilot mode let the car drive in the beginning it's a little bit uh worrying should I trust this thing after a while I trusted it how I saw the connection when you look at things in this world and you take it to your life Hashem really drives you on autopilot you you choose what you want to do with your life. You wake up in the morning, you can press the auto drive, then Hashem drives for you and you just sit minding your own business or you do the manual and then you have to drive and you still go on the same path. But you trying to figure out the path, you trying to merge lanes, turn, look at the GPS while you're driving. I mean, why why you want to make your life hard? And by the way, I'm not promoting Tesla or any self-driving car. I think it's a disaster. I wouldn't buy myself an electric car even if you kill me. I don't buy the certain things. I don't buy not buy physically. I don't buy the one day they'll shut down all the cars in one shot. Then no cars. All you need is a little it somebody turning the switch down. You're not moving anywhere. And that's what's going to happen. Needless to say, taking over your car. You're driving. Suddenly the car goes wherever it wants. So, but just to for the concept to understand because my friend could have any car to pick me up. So, I took from it. Yeah. You know what? You choose. You choose if you click the drive self drive mode and then you know what happens? You just need to trust Hashem. That's it. And he takes you wherever you need to go and you just need to trust that the only thing you need to focus on is trusting that Hashem will take you to the right place. So if you trust ways and you trust Google and you if you have a Tesla, you trust Tesla somehow you trust all your devices. When you set up the alarm clock in the morning, you trust that it's going to wake you up. Have it failed in the past? Yes. You know how many times my alarm clock didn't work, but I trusted it and it failed me. And how many times you trusted any other device that you have, your air conditioning, your electricity. So, Hashem is telling you the same thing. How come you trust little things to do what they're supposed to do and the real thing you need to trust, you don't? So, Hashem is now going to play with you to see how much you trust the self-driving mode. Now then comes the question that you should ask. Okay, we all understand that Hashem wants to test us with a self-driving mode. Meaning you trusting Hashem, but how do you reconcile the fact that I'm coming and telling you that my every day is like full of 700 tests. So one might say, what is it for me to look forward to? If you're being tested, what am I? You you are I'm here on a holy mission. I'm not here not for shopping, not for any type of entertainment. I didn't buy anything in here. Normally I buy things. Not I didn't come here for nothing. I literally came here. I'm going from lecture to lecture to house to a lecture to a place to a house. Before here I was in some sim. I'm like going from house. I'm here only to reach out to people. So you would think that everything will just open up and gates will open, flights will wait, everything will become right. You would think that everything should go very smooth cuz I'm going in the mission of Hashem. So the rule is when you're going in the path of Hashem, nothing works out because you have to deal with the challenges. If you're going to do something bad, notice that there's there's no problems when you going on your path to sin. No delays, no missing flights, everything opens, no traffic. Sometimes you know, you know why there wasn't even a flyer? Somehow this is only Hashem. Not the Photoshop on my computer. Not the Photoshop on my designer's computer. Not the Photoshop. No computer in any of my possession was opening files. Can't make a flyer. We're trying it on Adobe Illustrator. Doesn't work. Trying it. Nothing works. We're trying to make a new file. Nothing works. How do you don't get upset at that? I'm coming to advertise an event. Why can I make a a a poster? I have noticed and I have a rich pass when it comes to going and pursuing sins. My uh understanding that when you going to do a sin, no difficulties, no traffics, nothing stops you. We're trying to do a flyer, computer doesn't open. You go to do a sin on the computer, everything works. If you ever need Wi-Fi or something to work, go to do a sin. It will work. That's what I do. When things don't work, I'm like, "Okay, I'll just do a sin here." Or everything opens. So, my quick math here. You're going to do a sin, everything is smooth. >> You're coming to do be impure. They help you. They hold your hand, open all the doors of the time three four. But when you coming to do a mitzvah, that's when Hashem already starts putting all the roadblocks because he wants to see how much you're going to [snorts] trust in him, how much you're going to give him to drive the the vehicle or hold the res. He just wants to see if you worthy for this mitzvah. What do you think? You're just going to get the mitzvah for nothing? No. you're going to have to work. I was today in the afternoon hosted somewhere and uh the owner of the house brought a lot of food and he served food. So some of my kids are like we already ate I'll just have a little bit. He's like no you sit here you eat the bread you wash your hands and you eat the bread and you say and if I'm feeding you you give me back the mitzvah I'm I'm doing AB and Z. you sit down here and I want I want your gatamazone in my house which is right he's right I'm doing something for you then uh yeah yeah yeah yeah don't get it for free so I can tell you that when Hashem gives you rewards blessings guidance in your life it doesn't come free comes with a lot of challenges and when you whine then you're not going to get it you'll lose from all directions everything is very easy to say it's very easy to talk to to do the act you know what they say in America talk the talk you know to walk the walk to talk the talk is very easy I trust in Hashem I walk on water comes a little bit of a challenge and uh you don't trust anything. So I already long time ago gave up asking why. There's certain questions that I stopped asking. One of them is why because you'll never get an answer. There's another question I don't ask at all. What if? What if? It's a a question of a six-year-old. And sometimes they hear my little girls talk, what if we had the keys to the candy store and we had all the candy in the world? And my answer is always, well, you won't have the candy store kids and you don't get all the candy in the world. It's only a little store. There's very little candy there. So asking what if one of the most stupid questions you can ask don't ask it waste of time what if and but why you ever got a question that question answered no ask next time why why I have to go through this difficulty somebody gives you an answer I know you're all going to ask me at the end of the class standing alone line and asking me why I don't have the answer I don't have the answer to most questions people ask me which is usually around the the the the line of why. Well, in this world you don't get answers in why in this world you don't get most answers. And if you want to get answers, it's not for what Hashem wants to do to you. Because if Hashem wanted to tell you, he would tell you. If Hashem would want you to know what's waiting next, he would tell you. But he doesn't want to tell you. He wants you to stress. [snorts] And why? So you will earn your reward. I'm not going to talk too much about the why because it's irrelevant. And a lot of people don't like giving hearing. Oh, I need to be tested. Why do I need to be tested? Why do I need to work hard? Why? Why? Why? Again, the why. I more like to talk about the how, not the why. Because even if I explain to you why, it's not going to change your situation. You're going to have challenges. You're going to have difficulties. Things are not going to work out. Most of life path doesn't work out how you want. You plan, Hashem laughs. The more you are aware that that's what Hashem is doing, then you see the you see how Hashem does that because it's things that you like it can only be Hashem. It's not me. And then if you're wise enough, you're looking for the message that Hashem is telling you. And if you are uh focused enough, you'll find the message that Hashem is telling you. Friday, I had a few hours to sit in the airport to think. Well, not to ask why. It's to think. And it all brings me always to the same place. I I don't run the show. I don't run any here, anything here. I just walk on the path which means that Hashem decides everything to me. So if it doesn't work with my decisions that's my problem not his problem. I need to adjust myself to his agenda that it fits with his agenda because if I have to be early somewhere if I have to be late somewhere just know that Hashem is managing trillions of details every second. It's called because if you now moved something then it has a chain reaction. It's affecting everybody. Tomorrow we're going to talk about a very big question. If Hashem predesigns everything in my life, do I have any control? Can I do something? Can I contribute? Do I need to do anything? If everything is predestined, then why do I need to do anything? Do I need to pray? Then I can sin all day long. If the sins are not going to affect me my path in this world. So what's the whole concept of the sin and the reward the punishment and the reward if everything is written and predestined and oral sources sources are saying that everything is written and predestined. So how does that work for that? You have to come tomorrow and listen. But the fact is for our topic, you don't plan anything. You plan a little bit of the details but you overplan. And then when things don't work out your way, then then you get upset, angry, disappointed, lose faith, lose hope, and of course you get on the way angry and lose your temper and you just drag a lot of you do one drags another and it drags another. The why don't ask too much times why? Because a lot of the times I don't get an answer why. The answer that I have in front of me is wants to test you. I didn't invent the system. I understand. I can relate with it. You have now a certain worker or a child or somebody that needs to take over. Before you give them a big responsibility, you want to see that they can handle it. You want to see that they can handle the pressure. You don't give somebody right the first time the most responsibility you come in in small stages at least a normal individual and that's in any in any topic business in in almost anything you you don't know what you're doing you go in slow you need to be guided somebody needs to set up the path you're walking on so the why is not a good question just know Hashem is above you. Hashem knows better than you what needs to be done. He knows what's the best for you. You going against doesn't help. It's causing all the problems. The first thing you're attested is in your humility to Hashem that he decided over you because you feel you have free choice and you feel that you have control over your life and Hashem in that respect wins every time. Now, if you humble enough, let him win every time. I'm fine. We are created with a very strong ego and a strong strong pride. And it's hard for us as human beings, even if you don't think about it or relate with what I'm saying. No, it's hard for us as human beings that I'm not always right. At least they give me some of the times. Can you imagine being in a relationship that you're always wrong? That's not a fun relationship. And you actually want to be in most of the cases, right? I told you. So, Hashem is always right. You can't win Hashem. Hashem wants you to give to give in. Hashem wants you to bring to bring yourself to a place of humility and shaflut, which is a different name word of humility. Understanding that I don't call the shots. [snorts] I'm number two. Now, when you finally understand that you're number two, that's when things work out. Because most of us, as humble as you may all be, all of us think that I'm number one. And we don't make Hashem number one. The second you make Hashem number two, you're going to have a problem. Hashem is going to overpower you to make you understand and realize that you should bow down and say, "I'm number two. I'm not even number two or number two million, but in front of Hashem, Hashem is number one. The trick here is to bring you to that place. The why, don't ask too many times. You're not going to get a good answer. The answer is annoying to test you. If you're fine with that, good. You're not fine with that, stop asking the question. Hm wants to reward you. Hashem wants to elevate you in a spiritual level. You might not feel that. You might not relate with that. You might even know that that's what Hasha wants. But HA wants to promote you all the time. Imagine being in a job that every day you get promoted. Can you imagine that every day you get promoted, the boss calls you, you're such a good worker. I'm going to add 10% to your salary and some more benefits. What kind of an amazing job is that wants to give you a lot of rewards, a lot of merits, a lot of fun, good things, blessing, but he also wants to educate you that nothing comes for free. So I see how I relate with my kids, how Hashem relates with me. How the relationship between me and Hashem, I learn when I see the relationship with me and my kids. I just going to give my kids whatever they want. They're not going to appreciate anything. They're not going to ever work for anything. They'll think that they can just lean on me to get whatever they want. And you know, that's how I grew up. My father had all the options, all the abilities. And he always turned to me and told me, "No, you do it yourself. [snorts] You want money, go and work. You want a bicycle, go and work. You want a car, go and work. When you do it yourself, then when I see that you're able to handle it and do it yourself, then I'll help you." So, of course, as a teenager, I resented it. But, uh, as an adult, that's what I do also to my kids. Do it yourself. Millie, nobody's going to have your back. Very few people in this world are actually going to have your back and do something for you. But the reality is that most of the things you need to do in this world, nobody can do for you. People can help you with finding a house, finding your other half, finding a job, many things people can help you to get you to Ramadan. Nobody can do it for you to get you on the path you need to walk on. You need to do it. The opens the door for you to show you how to sin. He doesn't tell you to sin. He doesn't make you sin. You choose to sin. He just shows you the door. He opens the door and points out. I'm talking about the the evil inclination. He doesn't tell you to sin. He just shows you where the sin is and how good it is. Then if you're a fool, you believe him. Like a bad salesperson. That's what he does. Just selling you nonsense. China. Everything is it's like nothing there. It's a falling apart. Not that I'm laughing at China, but everything is made in China is like it's falling apart. It's not it's not it's not the real thing. Same thing here. So, you need to make a great calculation. Am I in this world to benefit from this world and go to the next level or am I here to just live, eat, sleep, and enjoy myself? You're here to eat and enjoy yourself, then leave the room. This lecture is not for you. But if you're here to grow and if you in this world, I need to change and elevate myself, then everything comes with a lot of difficulties. And the more you want a clo more closer relationship with Hashem, it will come even with greater difficulties. Just now in the Shabbaton, they they after a few classes, they all were like, "We want to hear your near-death experience story. We only heard it 34 times. We want to hear it another time from you live. We have you here." So, so I told it to them again and uh most people don't don't relate with the fact that you have a very short time in this world to grab a little bit of what you can and and move on. You can't afford wasting your time in this world. The is going to convince you all the time to to waste your time. That's what he does. That you will find yourself at the end of the day, end of the week, end of the month, not productive. How many times comes to you you feel that comes Friday and you're like, it's Friday, the week just went through. I didn't do nothing. I wasn't productive the whole week. The right way, of course, is to do chuva and keep points in your life every day. At the end of the day, summarize your day. Make some uh notes. Come with some decisions. You have to do that. 5 minutes. Summarize your day. What did I do? What I didn't do? How was my day? How am I marking my day? 8.5 9 10. Great day. Not so great day. I could have done this better. If you don't do that every day, and I know you don't do that, then you're missing out. You're missing out. I'm telling you already. If you don't do some type chuva some type of introspection some type of calculation what's going on with your behavior at the end of the day you're missing out huge opportunities I know you're tired I'm also tired at the end of the day but it doesn't mean that that you just jump on the bed you just paint on the bed you sit for 2 minutes 5 minutes 10 minutes and you do you do an account with yourself and by how you're all looking at me I know All nobody does that. Maybe some of you say malamita reading the speed of an F-16 and not the whole paragraphs. I'll read this tonight. But to be on Instagram, you can be for five hours that you know how to be and to talk and and gossip and and and waste your time and kill your time and all that that's fine. but to sit five minutes and do chuva with yourself. But if you don't do that, you'll never move on. You need to do chuva at the end of the day. You need to do chuva on air of Shabbat. If you're a woman, you finish your cooking, go take a nice shower, get dressed, and before you light candles, pray or read or read, do something, give some s charity, and before you light the candles, do cha for the rest of the week. What did I do? What did I do? And same thing with the men. You go to the mikvah. You get ready between after it doesn't matter. You you do you take a few minutes to how was my week? Summarize my week. Did I pray every day? Did I pray every day three times? Was every three times in do I learn to do I work honestly? You have to do I don't know. I I know most people don't do it. Then they complain all day long. And then you have to do again tonight or tomorrow. It doesn't matter. You summarize the month. How was my month? And then of course what are my resolutions for the next month? Last month was a I next month needs to be better and then of course these are the times that you have to do chuva that you summarize in your mind things that you need to work on and get better. If you don't do it on a daily base, don't expect much spiritual growth. And even if you think that you're growing spiritually, you're not because you're not looking at yourself. And to do it, you can only look you can it can only be done if you look at yourself. So they put this in front of you. So you look at this all day long. So you don't look at yourself. And if you don't repent at the end of the day, end of the week, end of the month, you'll never have a spiritual growth. Which means you're in the same place. So you don't have spiritual satisfaction. That means you are disappointed, you're stressed, you're unhappy. Most of the cases you don't eat well, sleep well, anxieties, fears, nothing works out, worries. I I mean, you're all nodding. Now you're nodding. H when I said, "Don't you mind at the end of the night?" And now I'm giving you a whole list of problems. Yeah, he's right. You don't even look at yourself. See, you look at me, I look at at you. That was a perfect example. I need a camera on the crowd cuz when I talked about chuva, everybody was frozen. Huh? [laughter] And when I mentioned this long list of problems, everybody didn't even notice how they're naughty. Yeah. So, in this shabbaton, they asked me about the near-death experience and cha and everything. And then one person told me which I heard that many times. Ah, if I had a near-death experience, I would also be very f. So ah and telling me ah you probably everything is easy. Well, you saw everything is easy. So the sad answer is no. It's the complete opposite. The says the more you grow in your level then your opponent grows with you. You cannot come into a ring when you are a heavyweight and they pull in front of you a lightweight. You are a heavyweight, they pull in front of you a heavyweight and in the same in the in most of the cases stronger than you that they should be a struggle. So you look sometimes at a great scholar, a great rabbi, a great leader, just know that his challenges are much more than yours because if he's in this level, that's what he needs to deal with. They don't give him a yet of a kid. They give him a Mike Tyson yet. So not everything that shines is gold. A lot of people look at me like, "Oh, you have it easy. You want my borrow to him to you whenever you want. We'll switch. I can pin him. You give me your I'll give you my then I'll come with a salah to to to revive you after two minutes." So you got to get your priority set. If your priority is to grow spiritually, then you're in the right place and you need to follow the steps. If your priority is to enjoy this world and run after money and get another new car and nicer clothes and a nice phone and nice vacation and that and to show off to your neighbors, I have a nicer house, a nicer car and that's one type of rat race. Then there's another type of rat race that it's more connected to people who are stronger in Torah is the pressure that the community puts on them. And today I was wherever I was this person came to me. He's like I can't take it. You know I don't want to wear the black suit. Everybody's like I I can't I be like a a regular person. I want to pray and love Hashem. I don't want the black suit. When I don't wear the black suit I feel more connected to Hashem. And he was under so much pressure because of the community. I told him, "So where what you want?" "No, everybody tells me and this and I'm not going to get married. I'm not going to get this." WHY ARE YOU LISTENING to anyone? You need to get an account to to to the neighbors. You need to give an account to Hashem. That's what worrying you what people think of you. That's another pressure that a lot of people are going through. Many people don't relate with that. A lot of people that's their their their their thing. I gotta do this because everybody's looking. I gotta do that because everybody's looking. I gotta do this. My They're not my kids are not going to get sh and people are like losing their their their their ground because they have to make everybody happy. Relax. You think that your behavior is going to get your child a shid or not? You heretic. Don't you trust Hashem that Hashem is going to send your child a shid? how you dress, how you talk, how you walk, that's gonna get a shiduk to myself. Somebody told me once, "Oh, no. You're not gonna get a shuk to your child." I was like, "Excuse me? You're gonna slap. You're gonna get a slap over your face for me in a second. I'm not going to get a shiduk to my child because A, B, and C. Shem is going to ch send my child to when she or he needs to get married. Not how I dress, talk or wear clothes or so. That's type one type of pressure that maybe a lot don't relate to but in the religious world that's a big thing and like that there are many different types of these I call it like a pocket of pressure and you will die have enough pressure in our life we don't need more pressure but going back to what I was saying if you don't have your priorities set it's not going to work out the the reality the good reality the great news reality is that Mashiach is very very close but extremely close and I know I've been saying it for a long time and a lot of people are already saying but you said that already [snorts] but it is very close how close I don't know even if 10 years 10 years is close but it's very close it can be much less than that saying in other words what is your priorities What are your priorities? Do you have them written down somewhere? Like have like a will. Do you have a will? Everybody here has a will that that's you expressing your your desires, your thoughts. Do you have I know that nobody has that. I'm I'm stumb asking to put you on the spot. A will? No. No. Having a will is good. I'm talking do you have a list of priorities somewhere on your refrigerator on your desk on your phone? Do you write your priorities in life? Do you think of them? Do you practice them? Then most people don't. Most people are too busy running after the little things they need to deal with. There's no plan. There's no map, a road map. There's no uh stages. There's no goals set. So, I know in most cases a lot of people don't take notes from what I say. Some people do, but when I come to get educated in something, I I I I like to listen and I I write notes. I need to Well, you sitting here. You made an effort to come here. You sat 28 minutes waiting for me. You came here in the snow. probably didn't find parking and parked like I don't know an Avenue M. I don't know where you park. I didn't find parking. So, you did a little effort. Don't you want to walk out of this door with something like some uh uh uh how do you call it? Uh memory. No, how do you call it? A souvenir. So, I bought you some stuff from Israel. But that's not the souvenirs you need to take. You need to walk out of this door and have a souvenir for the rest of your life. some practical advice. Every time that I've learned something, I applied it. Every time I listen to something, I listen and and like I told you thousands of times, I got myself the letter of I read it, I learn it, I live my life by it. And he says, "Every time that you finish learning, take what you learn, I'm using my words of course, and see how you can apply it, how it applies to you and apply it." And by that, every day you apply something new in your life. So if you have a plan, good. Most of you don't have a plan. If you have goals and a strategy how to get to the goals, then you're doing great. But most people don't have that. And it's not only business. I'm mainly talking about your spiritual growth. I'm not talking about your business right now. Spiritual growth. What am I doing in the next three months? What am I doing in the next half year? What am I doing in the next year? It's now what's going to happen in the next month. What am I doing in the next month? Two. Everything is calculated is because all that I focus on is one thing. The thing that most people don't focus on. I only focus on what Hashem wants me to do for my own. That's my responsibility. Not to make money, not to pay my bills. That's not my responsibility, by the way. It's my wife responsibility. No, I'm joking. That's Hashem's responsibility. I don't pay the bills. I'm not the treasurer here. My responsibility is to wake up in the morning and pray. and my responsibility is to learn Torah, teach Torah, to do certain things. All the rest is like minor things that I need to do and accomplish and that's it. So if you don't have your priorities set, then you a wasting your time, b don't expect great spiritual growth, which is a great shame because you all work very hard for your spiritual growth. But I see people working so hard, waking up on time, praying, following the kash, the laws of of kosher, observing Shabbat, everything. I see people put a lot of effort, but they don't get this reward of this feeling of I I grew. I'm in a better place because they they're kilu missing the point. You whine the whole way. You you miss the point of what Hashem is trying to do to you. So the point is to have your priorities set and my highest priority is to do what Hashem wants me to do. It's more important for me to go and pray than to go to a business deal. And I know everything will work around it. The priority is my that's the priority. You have to put that number one. That's why I told you Hashem has to be number one. If you Hashem is number two, you are going to have a problem. And as long as you have Hashem number two, and I know in many of the cases you're saying, but Hashem is number one. I I mean, I believe in him. Shem is number one. That what he says he wants, he guides. That's number one. And how many times you didn't say because you were going to miss the bus or business appointment or too much time passed because you were talking. You have to be very truthful to yourself. If you're always doing what Hashem wants you to do. Just today I sat somewhere and somebody answered a certain question and added something which was not appropriate and the person's father says why do you have to add some to everything that you talk? You had to add that little last word that you could have gone away with without talking. I had to say that one little word. So the key is to get your priorities set. Once your priorities are set the right way and the priority to make it simple, Hashem is number one. You're number two. Your desires are number three and your lusts are number 10. And uh you you're not first in line. When you put Hashem first in line, then life becomes a little bit better. Not to talk about that in many of the cases, you have to put many other people in front of you, your spouse, your kids, and many other situations that you don't need to be first in line. Once you have your priorities set and you understand the name of the game, then you need to realize that the Kadoshbu has his timeline. It's not your timeline. Shem has to work millions and millions of details every second. And not always it works in the way you want to. But trust me how Hashem makes it that's how it should work. That's the way it should work. That means that the same way that you get into your hope you're wishing for your Tesla but and you would put the auto drive or the self-drive mode you need to do that with your life but the trick with the self-drive mode you need to trust the device I didn't trust it in the beginning you know suddenly everything is moving you're just sitting there and then it's driving driving and you see a red light boom and it stops now after it did everything it should do 20 times, 30 times, 40 times, you trust it, right? You do that with all your devices. After it worked consistent over and over, then you just trust it. Somehow when Hashem comes through over and over and over, every week he comes through to you, every month he comes, everything works out at the end. somehow that you're not able to build that level of trust that it will come through again that Hashem will find the solution. Now look at your life in the last 10 years, 15 years, one month back from all the challenges that Hashem put to you. How many of them actually worked out? Most of them, right? The majority worked out. Some didn't. that says that they would work the majority would work out anyways without your stress and the ones who didn't work out they weren't supposed to work out so I stress over them so you have to kind of make that's why the chuva and the analogy is so important because you you can make your own one plus one if I did a certain act over and over and over and over and the same result over and over doesn't that teach you that that's the result of this act. So it's the same thing with how Hashem does. Then again, I don't ask the questions because I have the repetitive scene that Hashem puts me under severe pressure and to see how I behave. And it's almost the same thing every time. It's like a rerun. And I always tell to myself, it always somehow works out. Why stress now? The past somehow fixed itself. And you know what? Even when things didn't work out, somehow I wanted somehow it worked out and it worked out obviously how Hashem wanted. Was the stress, the worry, the everything else that came around it was worth it? No. So I always find myself saying the same thing what I told in the beginning. Why worry? It's not worth it. Why? Why stress myself over the situation? I lose temper. I usually use not nice words in many of the cases says hurtful words I do the wrong things you know going back to the same thing person who's angry all the entities of gum dress in you because you become a chariot the second that you get angry and you lose your temper doesn't matter if it's a little bit or a lot on The second you become what's called a chariot to the sitra means he can get dressed into you. You become a k you become a vessel to the other side of holiness. Why? Cuz you brought down to your system anger k just imagine that every time you get angry you open the door and you tell all the bad guys to come in. Can you imagine? Can you imagine every time you get upset? That would be a funny video. You get upset, you open the door, you let in five men to ruin, break your house, take everything, steal everything, ruin the house, take all the food, and go out. That's what you do when you get angry. You make yourself available to any any negative entity to dress in you and to operate through you. That's why you get more angry and then you start breaking your own things and you get even more angry and then you fall, you trip, this breaks, that doesn't work. Oh, everything. It's like a chain reaction of disasters. So, I shared with you one one situation out of the entire tour. What I told you with Friday, that's every day like this. And not one it's a few things. And again I I if I ask myself why because and again I'm saying it in the most humble way. Hashem tells me ah you're going to go around the world teach and inspire you're going to touch people's going to change people's life. Needless to say that again I'm just saying that for you to understand every mitzvah that somebody does because you you you have residuals of that. You know how how it works. And again it's not about a competition. It's not about making somebody sound better. You help another person do a mitzvah. They do good things. You get residuals of that. I'll explain. I told somebody the other day we were talking about fillin and I expressed that when I became observant then I calculated the positive that I didn't do I counted how many I didn't observe how many times I how many times I was not doing the mitzvah of fin so specifically with fain I calculated over 4,000 times that I didn't put fill in on from the age of 30 into the age of 27. How do you fix that? How do you fix 4,000 times you didn't put fill in on? Now, you obligated in doing that. I'm going to come up to Shamim. They're going to tell me you missed 4,000 times to fill in for in order for you to fulfill the mitzvah the right way, you need to do a certain quot. How do you fix something like that? Is it you make other people do it? So I go to the street. You Jewish put fill in. You Jewish put fill in. So you know so maybe one might fill in is worth 10 men putting fill in. So one time that I missed 10 men need to put. I'm just throwing. I don't know. There's no explanation. I'm basing this on the teachings of my of Rambam. He calls it chuvatishkal the chuva of scale. you have a deficiency here then you have to put more weight here that's it so when I realize that I'm missing a lot of fill in that my understanding I need to make a lot of people put fill in on and without of course hundreds and hundreds of men that I helped with my money to buy fill in and why because all I need to invest is $20 $50 in your pair of fillin cuz you're missing a little bit of money and every time you put filling on I get residuals. Of course, I'm using worldly terms. I get I get but it's the same thing have 10,000 people under you doing you're doing pretty good. Not to talk about the you know when somebody talks to about you you give them your sins and they give you your their so I'm like a gazillionire of mitzvot in sham. You know how many people trash me all night long? So why am I saying that? Because Hashem says, "Ah, okay, you're going to get a lot a lot of blessing, a big reward. You're going to sweat for that. You're a walking down the street whistling. You want to get this." Now, just that you Let's set the record straight. I didn't ask to do that. That's why you says, "No, no, I chose you. If it was up to me, no offense, it's not has nothing to do with you. If it was up to me, you would know me. I don't like talking, teaching. It's not my personality. I'm not a friendly person. I'm not an outgoing person. I never thought I will be a a public speaker teaching." Hashem says, "That's your job." Me? Why me? That's your job. I don't ask any questions because would it help me? I It's not what I want to do. I want to live in the middle of nowhere where you're never going to hear about me or find me. Read Torah all day long and have a little goat next to me for a little bit of milk and that's it. That's what I need. And a cucumber. That's what I want. Fresh air and learn Torah all day long. But Hashem says, "No, I'm not asking you what you want. I'm going to tell you to do what you the most want don't want to do. [snorts] And that's all of you. Hashem asks you to do. He doesn't ask you. He tells you to do what necessarily you don't want to do. But you don't want to do it because physical explanations or excuses. But Hashem tells you that's the best vitamin you can take. That's the best thing you can take. Whatever I'm telling you to do, that is your tikun. That is your path you need to walk on. Like it or not, nobody's consulting you. And when you don't like something that it's a little bit hard. But have you ever gained something from doing nothing? All good things come when you put a lot of effort, when you put a lot of hard work. I don't know anybody who made money with not doing nothing. I don't know anyone who was successful in any startup, any idea, anything without putting effort and a lot of challenges. And then of course you have the single people who are praying their kishkas all day long to get married. Marriage you think doesn't come with effort. You know how much effort comes into marriage and how much toiling, you know much trouble, how much when you're single, you're constantly dreaming of getting married. Then when you get married, you're like, "What did I dream of it? I was fine by myself." But you but look at the what I'm trying to tell you. But when you don't have it, that's what you want. It's in front of you. All you do is whine. She said, he said, he took his mother, the mother. It's always the mother's mother-in-law somehow. But look at your life. Anything in your life that is good came easy. I didn't get anything good in my life easy. I have a lot of good things in my life. Nothing of them came easy. Whatever came easy never stayed. Caused just problems. didn't sustain. So what I need to understand is that Hashem knows what's best for me in a level that I will never know. You will never know what's good for you. You barely even know the path you need to walk on. So when Hashem puts situations in your life, it's to put you on the right path, give you the right medicine you need to eat for your tikun. I never tasted the tasty medicine. Medicine is always disgusting. Now, if you're going by modern medicine, you just swallow it. But real medicine that is made from real things, it's always not tasty. It's bitter in most many of the cases. The problem is it's bitter and it's not tasty cuz you are already spoiled for 40, 60 years with the junk that you've been eating, sugar, and all the replacements of everything. So when you taste real things, but the reality is that medicines are usually bitter and I'm talking about real medicines. But that's what cures you. Somehow when you go to the doctor and he gives you a how do you say prescription >> prescription >> prescription, you don't ask questions. He just tells you take from this two a day, three a day. Swallow with your food, without your food. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. [laughter] Yes. >> Why do you believe the person in the right robe? Cuz he has a white robe and a stethoscope and a diploma on the wall. >> Well, you are my student, so you don't believe the doctor. But but but most people believe the doctor blindly. Take this pill. Most people don't ask questions. I was in the hospital a few years ago. There's a nurse that goes around starts giving pills to everybody. Nobody asked what are they giving her. What is she giving? I asked what is this? Well, that's for your pain. I don't have any pain. Okay. Well, what's that? That's antibiotics. I don't want that. [snorts] You took it. I don't want to take it. So, most people if an authority comes and tells them something, they actually do it. So, Hashem does the exact same thing. He doesn't even tell you. He just does it. And you somehow argue with the authority by I don't want to. It's not convenient. Why is it like that? Can you imagine the slap to the face you give to Hashem when you don't just follow the path? So everything is very very easy to say. I'm I'm the the saying is very cheap, very easy, very incal just to to say and to nod also very easy. But if you actually don't a understand the concept and then apply then uh the result is going to be that you're going to walk on the same path you're walking on. not necessarily gain the spiritual growth you should. In many of the cases, you observe the mitzvot in the Torah and there's no spiritual growth and your indication should be is that you're becoming tired of doing the mitzvot. If you're becoming tired to doing the mitzvot, it's because you don't have any spiritual growth. If making the Shabbat meal becomes hard on you and I don't want to have guests this week and and every mitzvah becomes [gasps] then there's no spiritual growth. If there was a spiritual growth, you would want to do the mitzvah again and again and again and you wouldn't have an issue because Hashem would give you the energy to do that. So that's your indication when you and and don't confuse the A lot of people say, "Oh, it's the No, no, no, no. The just shows you how to get to a sin. That's the job of the you not having the desire to do a mitzvah. That's not that's your being weak. It doesn't have enough spiritual light to lift itself. Sick like a sick person that can't move. Then if you are spiritually sick, it's hard to do mitzvot. It's hard to do good things because you are low. So in order to make it more effective I don't like just talking and my mind I was thinking I was like okay this lecture wasn't planned I'm telling you there was difficulties to come here you can't even imagine how many delays difficulties even even to get a flyer out that's for me an indication that yet is very unhappy so he has to spoil everything has to make everything I'm not happy that maybe somebody would sit here and get upset and leave or whatever You see how the is trying to bother and Hashem says why stress why worry is it going to help in any ways would it help me to stress over as I'm coming here why I already know that I'm supposed to arrive in a certain time and that's the time I'm going to arrive and you know how I know that because sometimes I arrive to the place where I'm supposed to come and I don't see it and I miss it and I drive another two blocks and then make a U-turn and come back. I'm delayed in another 47 seconds. Why? So the second that I come all the details of have to fit perfectly aligned. Everything has to come in the right way. Can you imagine the how Hashem orchestrates everything? The how do you call it when they they make a dance and everybody dance the same choreography. >> Choreography. >> Can you imagine the choreography Hashem is doing here to make everything works that everything moves in the same pace. So sometimes you need to stop for 3 seconds cuz you're not in the rhythm right now and you don't understand why am I stopping? Why am I delayed? Why is this not working out? Wait, it's not your turn. the other side is doing now the this now you have to wait for two seconds be patient look at the orchestra that's going on here so is moving millions of details every second including yours and you have to fit in the entire in the entire system and then after you realize that the more the challenges the more the godly spark that needs to be released is stuck hard there. Sometimes you try to release something and and you take it out in a second. Doesn't matter what it is. Sometimes something is stuck there. You just can't take it out. Same thing here. So the point that you need to apply and again let's break it into two. If anything that I said in the last hour and a half doesn't make sense, doesn't apply to you, you didn't relate with anything, then you're doing great. You're doing real great. Think you need to start teaching some classes. But if everything that I said, even if it didn't much make much sense, but it's familiar, then uh and you don't have to do that. I know that most people don't do that. And again, it's not about somebody's better than the other, you know, it's just guidance. It's all guidance. Unfortunately, in my 22 years of being observant, I saw that in the world of religion, there's a lot of Torah with very little guidance. [snorts] I went to a lot of Yeshivot. Nobody taught me how to pray. >> Nobody taught me how to pray. They just tell me to read the book. Nobody told me or taught me so many different things including how to do chuva. I went to bal chuva yeshivas. There was classes many other things. Never was a class how to do chuva. We are required to have amuna to believe in hashem. I never was taught how to acquire amuna. was just told read a few books but there was no guidance how to do that. So I found in the world of the Torah there's barely any guidance how to there's a lot of titles but not the how-tos. Therefore I see that the majority of people are just misguided. They don't have the right guidance. The rabbi maybe answers their questions in the rabbi doesn't guide them basic things how to maneuver how to ride this world in this complete darkness without bumping into everything every every little second. So it's all about guidance. It's not about shalom somebody's better than somebody else. So if you're here to grow then you accept the guidance. I'm telling you my life. What I told you about just the past Friday, that's nothing. I'm telling you without Gleed. Next time I'm coming, I'll make a documentary how it looks when I when I fly. You'll cry. You'll actually cry. I actually want you to if you if you have the means, come and join me for one day. Up until now, 20 years, nobody is able to stand in my in my paste. And not because I'm some superman, because I'm going in the of so the paste is very it's high volume but you have to come to see to experience because a lot of people literally think that I fly first class and a limo is waiting outside and I just walk in Raban thank you sit in the limo the book is handed to me thank you then the food is handed to me thank you [laughter] and then I sleep on some queensiz bed in some I don't know the plaza hotel. No, you know how many times I sleep in cars? Cuz there's no time to even go to a hotel. So, and and again, I'm not complaining at all. Not complaining. I'm just trying to tell you that that the the my my day is chaotic. I'm not saying chaotic. Just today I was somewhere. Somebody heard that I'm in somebody's house and the child. Oh my god, my friend. He's your fan. Can he come and get a braha from you? And I was like, "Yeah, of course." He came. He saw me one hour. He didn't get one word out of me. I was holding three phones, answering phones, giving orders, and every two seconds. So, what's your name? Oh, oh, yeah. Yeah. No, no, no. What are you doing here? He looked at me like he was shocked. He was like, "Maybe I should come another time when you're not that busy." I said, "Well, you're going to have to come to my funeral. That's the time I'm not going to be busy. You want a blessing, sit next to me. That's the blessing. I'll throw in here and there a few. Shut up. Sit next to me for 1 hour." He was trying to squeeze in some questions. I was like, "Come on. There's a long list of other things that need to be done." But the reason I'm telling you that is not to try to impress you or to make to try to make you laugh. Is because I know that Hashem takes me through a certain path. So I have enough experience to teach it because 90% of what I teach is the path that I walked on. Went through the challenge, figured out the engineering, how to benefit from that. Did that 20, 30, 40, 50 times. Now I can come and tell you that's how it's done. Because like I told you before, it's guidance. It's not will, it's not knowledge, it's the guidance. The how how do I take something that I learned about and I apply it in my life because all of you are tested every day with anger. In case you haven't noticed, each person in a different level that's why the attribute is called mida because mida in Hebrew can be an attribute the characteristics but mida is a measurement. So you get angry how much? This much? This much. So you measure how much you get angry. That's the mida. If there would be some gauge, all of you are tested with anger. All day long. Each and every one of you loses their temper in a different level depending what the situation is. Try one day not to lose your anger. Try one day and I think it should be tomorrow that you wake up in the morning and you write yourself on a piece of paper and if you're smart you do what I tell you and you write on the piece of paper today I'm not going to get angry and if you want put it on your phone as your screen saver as the picture that's on the phone today I'm not going to get angry and do it in a way that your life depends on it if you get angry or and do whatever you can that that day you don't get angry and you'll see that Hashem is going to send many anger situation a lot of situations to anger you but if you sleeping on your how do you on your call on your duty how do you call it >> what sleeping on the job then it's going to creep up on you but If you are aware of it for 24 hours or you're only awake 14 16 hours that you cannot get upset because if you get upset the whole thing blows up. A you'll see how many times a day you get upset. B you'll realize later how most of the time there's no reason to get upset. And three you'll start building a system how to control your anger. It's all about systems because you have to see the reward of your hard work. If you don't see the reward of your hard work, then you're not going to do anything. But you have to understand, if I'm not going to apply something, I will continue getting angry. Let's talk on the anger for a second. Cuz everybody here is tested with anger. I don't go who I don't care who you are. You all get [clears throat] tested with anger every day. Whether it's your husband, your child, your boss, some guy takes your parking space. All day long, you are triggered with challenges of anger. tomorrow or if you can't do it tomorrow. Write yourself on a piece of paper. Today I'm not getting angry. And the same thing you have to do every day with something else. Today I'm not taking today I'm not going to be judgmental. Today I'm not going to say any foul language. Just going to talk nice words. Now put yourself through these challenges and you have to put yourself on these systems. How you control yourself. If you don't do that, you'll never change. Then you know what's going to be the result if you don't change? Your challenges from Hashem will increase because Hashem needs you to change very quick before Mashiach comes. Because if you're not going to you're not going to be worthy to see Mashiach and maybe not worthy to survive. So Hashem says I want you to have enough not only to survive to see it. So you you got to you got to push. Now you are not motivated to push yourself. So Hashem is putting situations in your life to make you very un unease. That's your your your hint that Hashem is telling you you need to step it up. You need to step it up because you know what day is it today? Monday, right? >> Monday. >> Okay. It's not too bad. Shabbat was only two days ago. But usually the week goes like that. And it is does go. It's already Monday. I landed on Friday. I just blinked. It's already Monday. All of you notice that the time goes like that very fast. Every Shabbat comes. Whoop. Another Shabbat. Are you really ready for such a fast time going through your heads? You are you really doing what you're supposed to do? You're not even doing 1% of what you're supposed to do. How are you not worried and concerned about your time that all day long you go like this? I would be worried 24 hours a day. I I need like 40 of them a day. So you you came here, you made the effort, you sat down now is only requested from you to do an action. I can't do it for you. I can come and tell you things. I can come and inspire. I can come and tell you that I suffer for you. all these planes I miss is to for me to have what to teach you and to test me into such a level I'm telling you Hashem is testing every time it's increasing I understand I understand I understand the logic when I ask the why the says you're being spiritually upgraded so it has to come with a with a challenge you're not going to get it free you're not going to get it easy you you're going to gain another level just No, that's how the system works. But more than that, I see that half of my life, if not 90% of my life is to have stories to tell you what goes on in my life and how I deal with it. I think that any normal individual had to deal with this Thursday night till Friday will have a heart attack. I'm not joking. with the stress and the pressure and it's too many things at the same time. But the switch is on m on auto. When my kids were like, "You're not worried that we're not going to make it to the shabat." I said, "No, somebody paid a lot of money. Somebody bought a lot of food. You know how much food they bought there? People came. People drove. There's dozens of people. I will suffer, [snorts] but not all these people. They won't even notice. They'll see me coming a minute before Shabbat. The stress is for me. No chance that somebody made a Shabbaton cost thousands of dollars. People made an effort cooking, serving, preparing, and I'm not coming. No chance. It happened too many times in the past that I came last minute. So, the record shows that Hashem, you know, does whatever he does and then it works out somehow. So, do I need to stress? Do I need to freak out, lose my patience? No. That's the stupidity. Why? Just let Hashem do his thing right now. You need to stand. You need to stand, relax, and and concentrate on whatever you need to do. So, next time you're pressed with time, with a situation, you can't find something, you can't make ends meet. I mean, every Hashem knows how to stress you very quickly. Most people get stressed very quickly. and how it comes about. By the way, that's why I said anger because we get very angry and frustrated when we're stressed like that. And we all experience it. And you have to understand a few key points. A, Hashem wants to upgrade you right now. Your test is shut up. You're going to be upgraded. And if you're not if you're not going to if you're going to make a problem, you lose the upgrade. It's almost like you have a long flight to fly back home and you bought the most cheapest ticket and you're going to sit like this for 16 hours and suddenly the stewist comes and says, "Mr. Cohen, we have a first class seat for you to upgrade you for free. Do you want?" Of course I want. So that's when Hashem is telling you when you are under a stressful situation, Hashem is telling you, I'm upgrading you out to first class. You want you want the bump now. Most cases you don't see what's going on. You're like, "Hashem, just leave me alone." Okay, I left you alone. No first class. Deal with your issues right now. So the next time Hashem puts you under stress. Just understand he's telling you, in other words, I'm up. I'm I'm bumping up the first class. If you hold your tongue, hold your breath, hold your anger for whatever amount of minutes or seconds that you need to or a few hours, you'll see that the stress wasn't uh wasn't you didn't have to. If I look back at my Friday, did I need to stress from 4:00 in the morning to 7:00 in the morning if I'm going to make the flight or not? No. It was written in the heavens that I'm not going on this flight. Doesn't matter what I'm going to do. I'm not going on this flight. Why I need to tell you now all the stories of people missing a flight and their life was saved or missing a bus or missing something and and uh and they were saved. Second I take from that I don't run the show at least me brings me to a very high level of humility. I know my place. Most people don't know their place. Most people don't know to hold their place. You're [clears throat] standing in front some somebody bigger than you know your place. You are bigger than somebody you're standing in front of. Know your place. It's all about knowing your place. Most people do not know their place. And the first thing in the place you need to know is that Hashem is above you. He runs the show. He runs the shots. He calls the shots. He does everything. So when I look back at my situation, I don't need to stress. I don't need to worry. Hashem is going to make me come exactly when I need to come. Yeah, I was I was in general. You could say it's very stressful. But I was sitting calm, happy. I don't care about what the GPS says. It's irrelevant if I come there at 452, 458. Doesn't matter. What matters is is what do I do at the time till I get there and what do I do in the time that is left for me? That's it. Now once you do all this, you see that you don't have to worry anymore. You don't stress anymore because Hashem is going to do whatever he wants anyway. So what's the point? What's the point of worrying? You're losing points worrying. You're showing Hashem you have no in him somehow. You trust your self-driving car. You trust all your devices that fail you half the time. You trust people who fail you half the time. Somehow you trust the government. or other agencies. Why would the government do that to me? Remember that question? Why would the government do that? I don't know, right? So, you trust everybody, but somehow the one who always comes through, you find it hard to trust. So, the the message here that you need to change your priorities. That's it. Change your priorities. I highly recommend you work with some references that you put yourself your life in in some order. You know, the whole Torah is about putting yourself your life in order. That's the purpose of the Torah is giving you all the tools that you need to. When to go to sleep, when to wake up, how to wake up, how to eat, how to sleep. Why need to think too much? The Torah tells you everything. I need to think of something. Once you understand that you're just riding on the train, on the train ride, and your job is to enjoy the ride. You're not here to to to drive the train. Have you ever flown in a plane in the cockpit, the pilot comes out, tells you, "Can you fly the plane for a few minutes? I got to go to the bathroom." That's not your job. My job is to be a passenger. The pilot is in the front. Let him fly. I I I I was not trained to be a a pilot. my thing saying I I'm not trained to be Hashem. I don't know how to run situations. I'm not required, by the way, to come up with solutions. In any of your situations, you're not required to come with solutions. You are required to do an effort in the measure of common sense and reality, not to bend over backwards and to believe that Hashem will do what he needs to do. That's what you require from you. You can pray that will be great. That's it. You don't have to come up with solutions. Your your effort is based on what your your world can handle. If I now have to come up with half a million dollars, I can't. There's nothing in my my life that will produce half a million dollars. So, if I'm now in a situation that I have to cough up now for half a million, I don't even try. I know it's a test from Hashem and I just need to roll it over. He will find the solution. I can't I don't have the Kim to do that. I don't have the vessels to do that. So, to leave you with some er points to do, first call her and she'll give you her notes. >> And I get confessed. [laughter] >> And uh >> that's because I don't have a memory. >> You don't need a memory. You need a brain. >> I don't have a brain. >> So, well, you're writing it down. You have a brain. You're the only one who's writing. So, so you can buy the you can buy the cheat uh cheat sheets from her [laughter] >> the notes and apply. But in case you uh fail to get the notes and fail to watch the rerun, then you have to understand key points that you need to go out and the first and most important like I told you and you have to remember that you want buy a hat, buy a shirt says big and that way you know that you are nothing. The second you understand that you are a nothing, then you start becoming a something. And to bring yourself to a place of a nothing, there's two ways. Either you do it yourself or Hashem will bend you. If you do it yourself, it's come nice. It comes okay. If Hashem does it, he breaks you. And that's most people. He breaks them till they realize, and most people don't realize that you're number one. You're not number one. You are only number two. And I know it sounds like, oh, what's the Of course. No, no, no, no, no. You questioned yourself. Every time you give up to doing some mitzvah, it can be now somebody offered you to eat and they give you bread and you're thinking, "Oh no, now [groaning] that's going to take me like 13 minutes of my life. I can be on Instagram and watch a lot of stupid videos." Uh, no, no, I'll have the salad. So, just think how many times, be honest with yourself now. How many times you said no to wash for bread and say birkaton cuz you were lazy to say birkaton. You don't have to answer loud because you don't need to embarrass you. But it happens all the time. You don't run to say birkaton. Anybody in this room says birkaton every day? One person, three people, four people out of an entire room. No offense, the entire room, but you have an entire room and four ladies pick up their hand. That's a shame. And the men didn't pick up their hand. Two men pick up their hand. You eat? No. All of you eat every day. No. Some people how they look, it looks like they eat all day. No. [laughter] But you eat every day. You all look like you eat well. So you full. You're satisfied with the food Hashem gave you. Why can't you bless him? And you know what the what's the proof that you don't bless him? That you're not even willing to say that you say no. No, you don't say that. Okay. A few. Listen, the ones who say don't look at me like HOW DARE YOU TELL ME I DON'T SAY. LISTEN, I talk to everybody right now. I know there's two people who say that. Don't get angry at me when I tell you that. But that's your proof. [snorts] You're not running to praise Hashem for something good that he gave you. It's only a few words. Ask yourself now that's going to be the Do you know the prayer off by heart cuz you say it 20 times a day? Oh, two of you nod. How about we do an exam and see who says the ba? And again, it's not to insult you. is to make you understand that you're not even willing to learn five blessings off by heart and actually say them. I'm not talking to secular people now. I'm going to go now to all the religious people and I guarantee to you that most of them don't say the after blessing. >> Facts, my friends. Facts. Why don't we'll do a survey? We'll see how all of you fail. just by asking you tell me the baka now and you have to be honest with yourself first of all you're obligated in that by the way don't you think what you're doing to Hashem Hashem gives you food and you can't even say you're willing to say right most of the people say it like this [laughter] excuse me said something and Then after you finish, do you say come on be serious? Don't nod because you're agreeing with this. You're not saying you're not saying nobody says that. So I caught you on the spot. So you think Hashem is going to just give you things for free? No. Show a little bit appreciation. You know that. By the way, just that you know, maybe that will make you maybe that will make you realize [snorts] says that when you uh say a blessing, you say the blessing, you release the godly spark from the food and elevate it to its source. [snorts] When you say the after braha, you release the toxins from your body. Most sicknesses or I will dare to say all sicknesses come from the body not exporting the toxins out of it. That's all sicknesses. When the body knows how to export its toxins, well, you're never going to get sick. So the after braha is what releases the toxins from your body after you ate. I think that's big enough for you to say the aftera. Maybe tonight you came to hear that you have to say the after you say learn the it's not so hard. It takes like 17 seconds, 52 seconds. Learn when to say it, the order to say it. You have now grapes on the table, dates on the table, and olives on the table. On which one do you say the >> olives? No olives. >> Three people knew it in an entire room. >> You have an apple and and in front of you and grapes. What do you say there ones? >> Grapes. So this that was an easy one. Seven species. But this is not a but I'm just trying to point out that you half of you are from And that's with all the little things by the way. But you to complain, everybody knows. To ask for blessing, everybody knows. But to thank Hashem. So Hashem is basically showing you where you failing. Hashem is showing you what he wants. All your challenges is Hashem writing on the wall what he's expecting from you. You have full guidance. Arrogance is what will make you angry. Stupidity is what going to make you disappointed and angry too. Why do you need that? So priority, Hashem is number one. What Hashem is going to do, it's not up to me. I gave up a long time ago. I don't make plans. I run on Hashem's schedule. I don't ask too many questions. A a door closes in my face. I stop. I don't lose my anger. I don't lose my temper. I am aware now that I'm that there's you know how when a person is about to be shot and the snipers have on him all the red dots. >> The second the situation and this happens I feel the red dots on me. I'm I'm I'm now the snipers are on me waiting for me to fail waiting for me to say run one more wrong word waiting for me to get upset angry worried it's very very difficult. So what I'm telling you right now is a very difficult test. You are failing in it 50 times a day. So I told you now very briefly my suggestion. Do what Hashem wants you to do. You're not going to go through challenges. Volunteer to do what Hashem wants you to do anyways. So Hashem, if you see that in the past week, Hashem tested your faith 10 times, then do something that shows Hashem how much faith you have. So he doesn't have to test you with faith. [snorts] And if Hashem challenged you this whole week with anger, then do what he wants that he doesn't have to challenge you with that anger. Do you understand? Just do what you need to do. Volunteer to the job. Hashem won't test you. The test, the challenge is to make you grow. So grow without the test. Unless you like the tests. I don't like the tests. I don't like the challenges, but I understand that I don't put myself to the challenge. So, Hashem has to do that. And when Hashem does that, that doesn't feel good. So, I'm telling you already, Hashem likes when you praise him. You don't praise him enough. You don't thank him enough. You don't acknowledge him enough. Cuz if you say, you don't acknowledge him, you're making a joke. You need to make loud. Everybody should hear you. Make a statement that everybody should answer. Amen. Pay attention to your blessings. Pay attention to your prayers. Pay attention to the blessings that are called thanking Hashem. I just asked you about all you failed. And I'm not trying to insult anybody. And not to make you feel bad about yourself. The whole point is to show you, enlight you, teach you, and guide you. If you're not going to start saying the last after this lecture you sat here for nothing. I sat in a lecture I don't remember exactly when 10 years ago nine years ago I don't remember in that lecture I was talking about the importance of saying every day the blessing after the meal because you have to you eat you eat every day and once you are full you have to say a thanks to Hashem so all the small loopholes don't get you any anywhere it's kind of pathetic that you eat every day and you don't say bat man every day cuz you eat every day. What do you eat like a little bite and you're not satisfied? Most people eat they're oversatisfied. People stuff themselves so much. So you are obligated to say a blessing. How could you not say that blessing? Now you miss that or all sorts of other pre and after blessings, then Hashem will test you. He will test you. He will challenge you and he will push you to a corner and then the next level like in my situation I say that after blessing trust me. So this is already next level test. I know that Hashem is giving me now an upgrade. Situations don't go well. I know if I lose my temper, my faith, my patience, I'm not going to get the upgrade. I'm not going to get the raise. Every challenge that Hashem does to you is only to benefit you. If not, he wouldn't do it for you. [clears throat] The path you walk on is already decided for you. You can't do much only apply faith and and and apply the the actions you need to and have full faith in amuna in Hashem. Now how it works is that a lot of people don't have the right faith in amuna. Then I'm already telling you don't need to ask too many questions. When you thank Hashem with your blessings then Abraham teaches us that builds starts building and strengthening your ama. So it kind of works with each other. So what I want you to do when you leave this room is to remember that every opportunity that Hashem shows in your way, you perceive it as a challenge. You perceive it as a disaster. You perceive it as some curse, some why is Hashem not blessing me? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? What I want you to do is when you walk out of this door from this point on in the rest of your life is you understand that you're not a Hashem. is not testing you. She wants to upgrade you at this moment. At this moment, you're standing in front of the boss in an interview. And he says, "If you shut up, I'll upgrade you. You get a promotion. You get a better salary, better position, everything. That's what you are required. Don't worry because it's not worth it. It's not worth it. Focus on what you need to do. Focus on the right things. Challenges will never stop. challenges. I gave a lecture last week about challenges. Go watch that lecture. It will kind of clarify to you the challenges that you you're dealing with. Some of the challenges is just to show you which mitzvot you're not doing. And if you're missing it, you're arrogant to see it, you're missing mitzvot. Some of the challenges to show you what Hashem wants from you. Other challenges just to elevate you. All the challenges that Hashm puts for you, it's your exercise. Today I met a a good friend of mine and uh usually when I would hug him my hands didn't fit. Today I hugged him somehow my hands fit. He's like you must have noticed that I lost some weight. I didn't. My hands closed. So he's he was proudly saying how he's on a new diet and he's working out and he feels great and he feels younger and he's healthier and so your challenges is your workouts. You choose your workout, then Hashem doesn't do it for you. You need a workout. You need a spiritual workout to bring you to the place of being in shape. You don't do it, Hashem will do it for you. That's why you have so many difficult challenges. Start blessing Hashem. Start praising Hashem, thanking Hashem for the little thing that he does for you. I know it's hard to say thank you for every little thing, but you eat all day long. Somehow Hashem made it that you eat all day long. Then concentrate on your bot. You know that you have to say 100 blessings every day. And if you don't say 100 blessings every day, it causes a lot of problems in in the spiritual abundance you're supposed to get. I gave a long class about the hundreds blessings a day. There's a reason for that. Now, if you are fully observant, you maybe reach 85 if you're fully observant. Allah and all that brings you to maybe 80 something blessings. >> You're still missing like 18 blessings. That's a little bit of and some and a few and you reach the 100. And all these are things that you are obligated by the way. It's not recommendations or uh or if you want to So the point when you leave this door is all the perspective and how you put priorities. And again I appreciate this. I I always write notes. I cannot organize in my mind. You're I told you now two hours of details. There's no chance that anyone here can repeat now the entire two hours. you maybe remember three things strong. So whatever you remember strong that's what you apply. Few months ago I gave a class and in the class I was talking how most people they listen for two hours they hear everything everything makes sense everything resonates with them they walk out of the class they don't remember most of what I said a few things are stuck in their in their mind and as I'm saying that there's this guy who goes in in the class out of the class in the class out of the class you're driving me crazy I told you stay Few weeks later, he saw me again and he was like, "Oh, Rabbi, I just wanted to tell you how much I appreciate the class you gave the other day." I was like, "Really?" Half the time you were out. He's like, "You're right." But the the part that I heard is you saying that you only hear one thing in the class and it remembers you. That's what I heard. That's what I remember. So, I'm sure all of you don't remember everything that I said, but there's a few things you remember. You remember to say, you remember to say, you remember to say, each one of you remember something that I said here. If you want to win the lottery, like I told you before, you take one thing that you remember from tonight and you apply it. You know what's that? You should put to put to death. But you're not going to fail. You know, for me, there's only three mitzvot in the Torah that are called somebody tells you bow down to this idol. You know, loud to you say, "Kill me before I bow down to this idol. You know that I would say 80% of my and of course it's not don't don't take it as a reference. I'm just saying that I look at it in the severity that I if I I'm not I cannot afford to fail." So the title for me is that it's that se severe but that's how you get it. That's how you do it and you need to acquire one step another step. You cannot become fully observant in a day. You need to do one day and another day and another day and another day. So the minimum of the minimum you want to do is you walk out of this door and you take one of the things that I said tonight. I said many different things. What you remember and make sure you apply it cuz if not you actually wasted your time here. You wasted your time. You know that one day Hashem is going to ask you, I sent you to Brooklyn to Rabbi Nava's lecture. There was only one free chair, full house. What did you do? What did you gain from that lecture? Oh, whatever is there, diet coke, that's what you gain. You wasted your time. That's in every class, by the way. Watch online, whatever it is. You don't get up from your class and apply something. So use this powerful day. Powerful day, beginning of the month, the head of the month. What you do in applies with the entire month time for growth, for change, miracles. What a powerful month preceding with bisan when a very auspicious time. So you can go out of the lecture tonight and be like it was very nice, was good, inspiring and not do nothing or you walk out and you do something that changes your life that next time that we meet you can come and tell me you know that from that lecture I never miss cuz I started telling you like 10 years ago nine years ago I gave a lecture and I kept talking about Gilcat Amazon recently I met the man I met him a few times and he came and told me you know that from that lecture I never missed. He's like, I missed three times. One time I was sick, one time my wife gave birth, and one time whatever, but never have I missed and that's the two things that I kept saying in that class. That's a smart man. And don't think he's equivalent to the Babasali. You look at him, he doesn't look so observant, but that stuck and he does that. And it's and sometimes he tells me I see blessing. Sometimes I don't see any blessing. Sometimes you do the good in the eyes of Hashem and all you get is problems. Hem wants to see if you complaining or if you're still going to do it. If you are if the mind is set just know that Hashem wants to see how you behave. He wants to give you a huge reward. So he wants to see how you behave. Can you handle the reward? Are you going to handle it responsibly? So all is left for you is to do a a little act and it's all depends on you and you have to understand nobody will do anything for you. Nobody will wake you up in the morning. Nobody will go and pray for you. Nobody will do the chuva for you. Nobody will nobody will do nothing for you. You know why? Not because people are mean. Because people are busy with their own stuff. I'm busy with too much of my stuff. I can't help you too much. Everybody's under stress. I told you Mashiah is coming. Hashem wants everybody on their tippy toes. Hashem wants everybody focused. He's going to start introducing a lot of new things to the world very soon that you are going to be preoccupied with. So you got to kind of master your basics. And if you don't have Hashem number one in your life, which means you wake up in the morning, it's Hashem. Not your phone. You go to sleep at night, it's Hashem, not your phone. In the middle of the day, you go to Ma. Hashem is the ultimate number one in your life. I'm hungry right now. How do I say the bot? I finished eating. Don't run to your cigarette or to your show or to whatever it is. 10 minutes. And not because you need your blessings and you want to get married is because you have to. And when you do what you have to willingly, gladly, and Hashem does what does to you what he doesn't have to, that's it. And mainly he leaves you alone because you're proving that you're doing it yourself. I have many kids, seven kids, each one different color. Some of them wake up by themselves for whatever reason. responsible, inspired, focused, and on what they need to do. Some of them, you need to wake them up 17 times. I'm sure you have some kids like that. Some wake up fast, some don't. You need to be the one who wakes up by yourself. If not, Hashem will wake you up. I don't have patience or time to wake up my kids. One time get up and I leave. You didn't get up. Your problem. My wife gets angry, screams, "Get up." You need to get up by yourself. You need Hashem to wake you up. Our wife Hashem needs to wake you up. And that's what he does 17 times a day. So wake yourself up. We have enough information tonight. You wake yourself up. You can wake up a whole platoon with what I said tonight. But now all the nods are very nice. I'm glad you agree with me. I told you 20 years ago, I also had a dog that every time I pressed the brakes, he also nodded. [laughter] >> Younger generation don't know what I'm talking about. But the older generation know I'm talking about the dog of Taco Bell. So don't be a dog and definitely not a Chihuahua and go like this. How do you nod? You shouldn't go home with a neckache. You should not nod. You should say, "Thank you, Hashem. Thank you for everything that I have. I was now driving. I told you I landed. I didn't have a car. Can you imagine? I rent a car. No car. Five people, suitcases, handbags, no car. Okay, maybe I'll rent three small cars. What should I do? Trying to think of a solution. So, they gave me a pickup truck. [clears throat] It's snowing. Great idea. [laughter] It's the best place to put my suitcases. Suitcases came all wet. Thank you. I wouldn't think of a better idea. But why am I saying that? It's this small. They're all my kids. They're sitting in the back and all they do. They're complaining for two hours. It's small. My leg, my arm, my this, my toes. Stop. I can't feel my leg. I can't feel my arm. And I was, you know, not not like complaining like a father. Be quiet. I need you to be quiet. And once I used to say, why are you complaining? Sausages were sitting in the tunnels for two years with no air. you're complaining. But I I I like taking every situation in my life and making one plus one. The reality is that we complain so much. Instead of complaining, [clears throat] I told my kids at this point, "How about we start counting our blessings right now? We could have been on a bus. We could have been on a train. We could have get stuck in the airport and sleep in Shabbat in an airport or shalom. Not make it to the Shabbat and sleep in some sleazy hotel on the way with no food, no nothing. a lot of wine but no food. So you can always look at the bad and wine or you can look at all the good and then Hashem shows you how the bad is just to cushion you and the good is still there. Very simple. I know it's not. It's very simple to say, very simple to nod, very hard to apply. That's why my loophole is the more you thank Hashem, the more you show appreciation to Hashem, the more you hold Hashem as your hero, then by default he doesn't do all these tests because he know that you appreciates him. And not that he needs that, but he's trying to teach. It's all about teaching you. Now, everything you apply to Hashem eventually will start rolling over to your loved ones. You love Hashem. You appreciate Hashem. You'll start appreciating your wife or your husband and so forth. You got the point. It's it's time to apply. We're going to read in the time of our atonement. Atonement means that Hashem says, "I'll forgive everything." Do do a change. Do a change. Rosh means the head holds everything in it. Do a little change today. You'll see something pretty pretty cool in your life. And the motion of is take a situation, you flip it, you overpower it, you change it. You want something in your life to change. Some big business deal that is about to close. You've been waiting for that deal for years or that finally you're waiting to meet your other half, can't find your other half for years. Whatever it is, a sickness, everybody needs some type of major change in their life. Is the time to do it. But if you want to change to Hashem to flip something in your life, it's usually something big. You have to do something in that level. If you do something in that level, Hashem will do to you. We'll do an in your life. You have two weeks to prepare yourself from from you have two weeks to prepare to the moment that you can sit in front of hem and Hashem will will do a that bad becomes good. The situation changes completely. Take advantage of the time. Come watch the lectures tomorrow and and th and Wednesday very very strong and just be grateful to Hashem. Understand that Hashem only wants the good for you. He's not looking to harm you. He's not looking to torture you. He's not looking to annoy you. Everything that Hashem does is only for your good. It's only for your benefit. Be mature enough to understand that and apply that and you'll benefit from that. And don't be whining and complaining and start the second you start doing that you lose all your momentum. What I'm telling you to do is to praise Hashem. Thank you Hashem. Now you have to don't have to do it like a fool. Thank you that no you want to do that go ahead. I'm thinking about all the that I just told you. That's the minimum. >> Appreciate everything that Hashem does to you. Appreciate what people do do to you. Value your time. Understand that Hashem wants only the good for you and it's only depends on you. You are the only one who can do that. Nobody will do that for you. So I wish you >> new beginning. Apply that. Go out of this door. Change your life. Affect your life. And I bless you that Hashem should give you everything that you need in order to do your tikun and walk on your path in the best way possible and enlighten you, enlighten you with everything that you need to do. and give you and should have a wonderful month, successful month and I'll see you in the future lectures and please share the video, subscribe, like, all that good stuff. >> I bench because of you. I bench because of you. >> No, you bench because of yourself. I just told you you need to do it. >> 7 years ago, I've been bathing in your speeches for 6 and 1/2 years every day. And 7 years ago I heard it. Four years ago I applied. >> So you say, can you say it loud? >> I didn't want to say. >> No, you're shy. You see he came to a lecture six years ago, seven years ago. He's just saying and he blames it on me. But but that's how it needs to be done to come to a lecture and say okay take something. You know what? Because then that lecture becomes and that's why I said in the beginning somebody will change their life. All of you can change your life. You just need to walk out there and do something religiously >> and then you're on the path to go to the next level. Thank you. >> I want to say my my father and I work with my father and every day we still we live in all that stuff. We live in everything [laughter] of it all. >> We're in Queens. >> Tomorrow both lectures by the way are going to be in a synagogue called Betel in Union Durban. And then >> uh I don't remember the exact address but if you look on my website at school.org/our >> No it is >> both the queens one are listed and just thank you very much. Yeah. >> The thing is that you have to press the red. It takes you to the lecture. >> Both are in the same place both nights. >> Yeah. Tomorrow and Thursday >> in bet in Queens. >> Wednesday, not Thursday. >> Yeah. Tuesday. Tomorrow and Wednesday. Thursday. I'm already flying. >> Rabbi, go to the IDF or No, >> you >> Yeah. [snorts and clears throat] >> You you live in America? >> I have a dual citizenship. They made me do gas. Okay. >> Last time I went, they gave me any show. He said Alex and I'm scared to go back. I don't know. >> How old are you? >> 22. >> You still want you? >> I don't know why. >> You know, you can just not go back. >> Take a No, no, no need to go against the system. Just take a lawyer and he fixes to you and you get take a 22 22-year-old to the army. >> So, get a lawyer. You have a good lawyer in Israel? >> Yeah, you get a lawyer. They present the situation. And it's not about now the army, not the army. You're 22. What are you going to be with 18 year olds? What are you going to get out of the army when you're 26? >> They gave me profile 45. I present >> profile 45. You can mop the floors. That's That's what you can do. >> Join. That's it, right? >> Get a lawyer. Be in touch with me after. I'll give you a good lawyer. Cost 10 grand shekeles. >> That's fine. >> It's nothing. It's $3,000. And they they they legally fix your situation. You don't have to be scared or arrested or anything. >> Last time I went for a week, they held me there for two months back and forth, up and down, fourth floor, third floor, five floor. That shouldn't You want to email me Rabbi Gmail and I'll give you a good lawyer. Rabbi Gmail or text number you know him now >> and tell him that sent you. He'll give you a better service. [laughter] I've been watching you for so long since Corona time >> and for hours and hours I stay up and the things you say you really going back before how you said something was going to happen and it really happened corona now with the whole Manni you were been talking about the whole Madani years ago and just it's crazy and I started watching you again three weeks ago talking about Israel and like you know doing aliyah and it's like I'm getting messages right now. So he's >> come on Wednesday. You'll get all the messages and the answers you need. >> I'm sorry. Before we lose the minion. >> Yeah. Who didn't pray? >> Nobody prayed. >> No. >> So maybe you do it. You want the ladies out. We prayed where we were. So I can mashim for you. >> Yeah. So maybe be in the side. I'll take a dish with you. Rabbi, >> uh, I want to say thank you. You're This is the second time I've been to your lecture. The first time you took me down a rabbit hole. The second time, uh, is today. I actually uh was observing for a whole year watching your lectures. >> I used to feel God. I don't so much anymore. And uh, when I put on to fill in, it's empty. I do it as an obligation. I don't feel it anymore. So, what's the trick? Spark packet. You praying with him? Pray and I'll answer you when you're done. May all the saints. Amen. Amen. You too. You want you said you First of all, that you got rid of with Israel. If you can come on Wednesday, come. If not, then then the way to make it happen is to make a very big. But I heard recently a great sadik saying that if somebody can and at least desire to do aliyah all their life then at least that if they had the desire to to do the aliyah the minimum the minimum is to want and pray for it and ask for it as I'll tell you the truth I'll tell you the trick. for Israel or the shall bless you both in your life in your heart you need to do such a hard time is telling you you got to work whatever you lack that you give an extra push and that's why is making everything harder that everybody should work harder. So when you initiated yourself then the excuse is for you all the problems like I said now for 2 hours all the problem is just for you to be aware of what's going on to become stronger closer to Hashem and to understand it's now not time for relaxing blessing rather okay now like he's praying now but then he says okay now do it yourself and puts you under a lot of pressure now. stress. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. example facing this difficult situation. How do you not worry? What's going to happen? I'm going to find a job. I'm going to pay the bill. This is like perfect example what I said. Now you have to like shut everything down. So Hashem wanted already has another job. Hashem already has an implant.
