I guess when you want to do something that is so powerful in Kedusha, then the Sitra Achra is going to turn the world upside down to do whatever it can in its power to block you from spreading light. And this is just strengthening me that the this lecture is going to spread so much light. And the Sitra Achra has been working overtime. We've been trying now for the last hour and a half to launch the live class from two different phones. Internet is fine. Everything is working fine. It's not the first time that I'm doing live. I don't even know what's going on. All I can tell you is that we're going to talk about the Sitra Achra tonight and how it works. And in such a powerful night like Lag BaOmer that I see and I'll explain very shortly how I see how it's working to shut down the Kedusha. So, for whatever reason this live call didn't work. And I apologize for all the ones who are waiting online waited online. Um we're just going to edit this video as soon as we can and post it on YouTube. So, for the all the ones of you who are waiting patiently for the live streaming, I apologize. We've been trying for last hour and a half. I do not know what's the problem. We used two different phones. Internet is working fine. Everything is working as usual. It's not the first time that we stream live. But obviously you see the power of the Sitra Achra that when it doesn't want the message to be heard, then it shuts down all the system. Exactly what they're doing now with Melone shutting down Melone, blocking people from coming there. So, it will just strengthen everything that I'm about to say tonight. So, without further ado, let's get let's start. I'm going to try to do the class as short as possible and straight to the point. Tonight is one of the most powerful days on the Jewish calendar, the 33rd day of the Omer, known as Lag BaOmer, the Hilula, the passing day of Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai. Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai is probably one of the most powerful souls ever been in this world. Uh I have explained in different classes how the soul of Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai is a spark of Moshe Rabbenu, but the holy books of Kabbalah explain to us that actually Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai is a Gilgul, is a incarnation of Ahijah the Shilonite. And he came back as a Gilgul uh because at the time of Jeroboam ben Nebat, uh who was supposed to be the king at the time, uh he didn't get to be the king. He um made the entire nation fall down to idolatry. And I have explained that story many times. The story is known in Tanakh. You can look it up. I'm not going to repeat the story. But to make a very long story short, Jeroboam ben Nebat wanted to be king. Uh it was promised to Melech, to King Solomon, and he got very angry and disappointed. And what he did is that he took the entire nation after him and brought them down to idolatry, made a second Bet Hamikdash. And on the holiday of Sukkot caused the entire nation to sit in idolatry. And the way how he made everybody believe him is that he cheated. And he went to Ahijah the Shilonite. And of course, Jeroboam ben Nebat was a big talmid chacham. So, Ahijah the Shilonite didn't suspect anything. And he just told him, "I need you to write here a recommendation that whatever I say, everybody should do." And to make a long story short, he made everybody bow down to idolatry. He used wicked people to fulfill his plan. And as a result from that, Ahiya Shilony, when he went up to the heavens, um it was decreed that he will be incarnated again and to do a tikkun. And that's part of the explanation why Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai had to be in the cave for 13 years. But Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai is one of the most powerful souls came down to the world, and needless to say, revealed to us the book of the Zohar. And all the secrets of the universe are hidden in the book of the Zohar. And today is his passing day. And we do know that when you go to the tziyun, to the grave of such a great tzaddik or any tzaddik, a lot of people think it's you know, paganism, witchcraft, you can go to graves. It's not a Jewish thing. Well, it is a Jewish thing. When the spies went into the land of Israel, and at the time of the desert, then Caleb ben Yefuneh and Yehoshua bin Nun, it says that they went to Hebron Kivrei Tzaddikim. They went to the graves of Avraham Avinu and and Yitzchak and Yaakov to pray for mercy that they should not be failing with the the spies. And the reason why we go to the Kivrei Tzaddikim, to the grave of a tzaddik, is because every day the nefesh, the lowest part of the soul, is there. So, when you go to a grave of a tzaddik, and you pray to Hashem, not to the tzaddik. We don't pray to the tzaddik. We pray only to God. But the nefesh is there, and you get connected with that piece of the soul. And needless to say that the tzaddik poel yeshuot b'kerev ha'aretz the tzaddik is it says tzaddikim gedolim b'chayei m'mitatam m'chayeihem the tzaddik is much greater in his effect when he's not in a body and the tzaddik can do great things in the heavens with prayers and and whatever he can do in the world above. So when you go to the grave of the tzaddik every day the nefesh of the tzaddik is there and you get connected to the nefesh of the of the tzaddik and we do know that on erev rosh chodesh the eve of rosh chodesh and on erev shabbat the eve of shabbat and on the 15th day of the month the ruach of the tzaddik is next to the tziyun next to the grave. On the day of the passing day the hilula then the neshama is being revealed at the tziyun. So when we go to the grave of a tzaddik you probably see many times that I advertise that I go to kivrei tzaddikim is because the nefesh is there and you can get connected and be affected by it and needless to say on the day of the hilula of the passing day then the neshama the yechida the chaya is present there and shining in such a revealed way that one [clears throat] can get connected to that tzaddik. So the story is very known I'm not going to repeat the story of Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai there was a a snitch that was saying that he's going against the the empire the Roman Empire and he had to flee and run away and hide in the cave and we know that he ran away with his son and every day Eliyahu Hanavi would come to the cave and teach them Torah and when he left the the cave after 13 years, he started spreading the teachings of the Zohar. But in the beginning, it was a very small group that was taught the Zohar. And that's it. And for hundreds and hundreds of years, the Zohar was not revealed. Not was taught to anyone. Just for a very, very small group. And he was He's explaining Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai, explains that the Zohar was kept specifically for our generation. And he calls it the Tevat Noach of the last generation. The ark of Noach of the last generation. What does it mean? At the time of the Mabul, of the flood of Noach, it says that all the human beings went completely off the derech, corrupt in their ways, stealing, robbing, you know, anything that's immoral and and against the Torah to a point that Hashem said I have to destroy everything. And only Noach and his wife and three boys, three sons and their wives, survived. And of course, the animals. You know the story. And Hashem destroyed everything in this world. But after the flood, Hashem promised that he will never destroy the world ever again in with a flood. So, but it doesn't say that he's not going to destroy the world. He just said I'm never going to destroy the world again with a flood. Nevertheless, Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai knew that that the last generation before Mashiach is going to come, there's going to be again another flood. Not a flood with water, but there's going to be another flood. Another way of destruction. So, the book of the Zohar was saved for the last generation as the Noach's ark is the Tevat Noach for the last generation. But that should be our Tevat, our ark to save us. And what is this flood that the Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai is talking about? Not with water, of course. He's talking about the flood that we are going to be drowning in this generation. I like calling it the electronic flood. Which we're all now drowning in this flood. Everybody is in one way or another, uh uh slave to electronics. I I'm sure you heard me not once or not twice explaining how everybody like this all day long. Very few people are completely disconnected from this world, but the majority are affected by this electronic flood. I call it I called it a few years ago in one of my lectures the war of thoughts. The the Gog Magog, a lot of people think that Gog Magog is has is has to be with missiles and jets. And people think the war now with Iran, that's Gog Magog. Gog Magog doesn't necessarily have to be with bombs and jets and army. I I gave a lecture 10 years ago explaining about the coming of Mashiach, where I have explained in details Gog Magog the Zohar calls it the war of thoughts. Uh meaning in other words that it doesn't have to be necessarily with bombs. At the time I called it in that lecture the war of screens. That we're all constantly involved with with thoughts. And most people with the screens. And that's the flood that is causing most people to be completely disconnected from their source. And I will explain very quickly and briefly what I'm referring to. And of course what is the remedy to get out of that. So, we have to understand that the sitra achra sitra achra is the translation of sitra achra means the other side. Sitra achra, the other side of kedusha, of holiness. And I'm not going to explain now and I gave many classes about it, but there is another force in this world which has strong, tremendously strong powers, but it's opposing the master of the universe. It's going against the Torah, against the master of the universe. And there's a reason for that. Of course, Hashem created that. And like I said, I explained in many other of the classes the reason and how it evolved, but the fact is that there is a dark side, a dark force that is controlling most of most of everything in the world. And this is called sitra achra. Why? How? What? You got to go to see many of my other classes where I explain it in depth. Um now is not the time, but just to to touch on the topic. If we would just see the side of God, then there wouldn't be any free choice, there wouldn't be any way for us to receive any reward in this world because we would just see God, there wouldn't be a question, we would never sin, we wouldn't have uh thoughts, we we would not have to compare between between good and bad. I mean, the whole system of the world would not work. So, this sitra achra is a force that is controlling everything in this world. And there's different levels for the sitra achra. There's one level that the sitra achra is holding on to the body. And it controls the person's desires, it controls the person urges, it controls the person's uh uh lusts, that everything that has to do with the body, whether it's eating, uh physical pleasures, sex, anything that has to do with the body that the person has uh his yetzer hara, his urges, and he can control it. And to a point that we're all controlled with the sitra achra by that. Very few people have completely control over their desires, their urges, their lusts, and they're not running after food, they're not running after any physical pleasure, not sleeping, not nothing. The reality is that most of us are slaves to our physical desires. And it can be in little things like eating, which everybody has weakness to eating. I don't know many people that can go for days with with fasting, or they're just fine with a cup of water and and and bread. Most people have this desire and a pull and a lust to food. And then for any other pleasures, it can be sleeping, and it can be being dressed beautiful, driving in a nice car, and many other things, of course. And then needless to say, uh the urges of uh procreating and anything that has to do with all the lusts and desires. So, you get the point. The sitra achra in one level is controlling your body, your desires, your lusts, and so forth. And this is a referring to the 49 gates of impurity. There's another level of the sitra achra that it's controlling your spiritual being. And that's called sha'ar noon, the 50th gate. And that's controlling you beyond your physical desires and lusts and weaknesses. The part that is controlling your body, no question here that we all are a slave to it. And if you think that you are not, you're either living in some dream or that you are very, very special individual. The reality is that we all have weaknesses to these physical urges. And again, each person is in a different level. The fact said fact is that we all have this weakness. We all go after physical pleasures, each one in their level. The sad reality is that most people are very, very weak when it comes to a physical pleasure. Everything is moved aside and they run after the physical pleasure. And why? Because the sitra achra is controlling your body. It's dressed into your body and controlling you. So, to give one example out of many out of many, a person is very, very, very hungry and there's a big meal on the table, but it's time to go and pray or to do a mitzvah, they will push the prayer and the mitzvah and say, "I'll eat later. I'll do the mitzvah later." and they go to the to the food. And this is one example out of many. How many times a man sees a beautiful woman in the street, in many of the cases not modest, his eyes and his attention goes directly to the woman. He forgets everything aside him. And again, you use your imagination, but the fact is that the sitra achra when it's dressed into the body, then you have zero control over your physical urges, your this physical desires, your inclinations, your lusts, all of that. And like I said, and I'll explain in a second even more, this is referring to the 49 gates of impurity. But then we have a much more dangerous level that the sitra achra gets dressed is and and that's called sha'ar nun, the 50th gate. And that's when the sitra Achra, the klipah, is being dressed in the more spiritual part of your being. Your being is divided into two groups. The group that is called the Sheva Zein Tachatonot, the Sefirot, and that's referring to your physical desires, and then there's the spiritual being that is called Mochin, the intellectual part, Hochma, Bina, and Daat. The highest level of the Sitra Achra, when it gets dressed into the Mochin, then it's controlling your thoughts. It's controlling your understandings. It's controlling how you perceive things. It's controlling how you talk, how you judge situations and other people, and that's a completely different level how the Sitra Achra is controlling you. The Ohr HaChaim says something very, very powerful. He says that you cannot fix something unless you are there. What does that mean? The nation of Israel had to fix 49 gates of impurity, so they had to go down to Mitzrayim, to the land of Mitzrayim, but really it means they had to go down in a very low place of existence in order to do a rectification there. And after they went after out of Mitzrayim, they had to go through 49 days of purification, that's the Omer that were counting, in order to refine themselves, to do a rectification, and then they were ready to receive the Torah. Say, in other words, the nation of Israel could not receive the Torah without first going down in 49 gates of impurity, going into the physical and spiritual slavery, in order to do the rectification, go out of Mitzrayim, purify themselves, refine themselves in 49 days of the counting and then receive the Torah. The klipah, the sitra achra, what I'm referring to, it gets it takes control over your brain, over your mind, over your intellectual part. Your body? No question and no argument that the klipah has control over your body. And like I said that very little amount of people have control over the klipah over when it comes to their body. And it's it's facts. You If you think that you have full control over your your physical desires, then you you really living in some some some high level of denial. And just put it to the test. We're still in exile, that's the the fact. And and as long as we are in exile, we are working towards refining our body. I'm sure many of you are in a much higher level than others. I mean, let's put it to to to an example. There can be a man that when he sees a beautiful woman, his total attention goes to the woman, looks at all her body parts, thoughts are running through his mind. That's an average man, by the way. Religious, non-religious, Jew, non-Jew, it doesn't matter. Put a beautiful woman, especially if she's not modest and body parts are all exposed, 99% of men the direction goes to the beautiful woman, they ignore everything around, they will forget everything, they they they their desire, their lust, their their focus goes directly on that woman. That's why I refer to all the time the in the movie The Matrix the the the woman in the red dress, perfect example. How the sitra achra takes your attention. You can be focused on one thing and one little distraction, whoop, takes your attention and you forget the world. For my experience and for my knowledge, 99% of men, when they see a distraction of a gorgeous woman, whoop, it will distract them. It will take their complete focus to look at the woman. 1% will completely ignore that woman. And maybe I'm off 2%, half a percent. The majority their focus goes straight on the woman. distraction. I will now say for the example, 1% will not go to that direction. Now, in the 99% there's many different levels. The worst of all that they not only that their eyes go to focus on the woman, the mind start thinking and takes them away and they're start fantasizing and thinking and undressing the woman in their mind. And excuse me that I'm talking like that, but that's you know, I have to get the the the example out there and that's a fact. Let's Let's I don't like ignoring facts. I like uh putting the facts on the table and addressing it. There is a different level of these men that the maybe the the beautiful woman will take away their attention, but they won't let their thoughts take them to a not to inappropriate place. Maybe right away they will move their head or maybe they will look like this or So, there's different levels how bad the situation is. But there's a fraction of men that would completely ignore this distraction and continue about what they were doing. And I'm giving one example. The meaning this can be with anything with food, with with any other physical pleasure. And And very few people are in a high level that they know how to ignore these physical distractions. They ignore the desires, the urges, the lusts and so forth and they refine themselves. That's really what we're here for. Especially now in Sefirat Omer, but we are here to refine ourselves. The Sitra Achra is pulling you to one direction, to your desires, to your lust, to your weaknesses, and you will have to pull it back and to ignore it. And I gave a class not too long ago. It It's recently posted on YouTube how I'm explaining how I have weakness to coffee. I love coffee, but I don't let it control me. I don't have it first thing in the morning. I will push it to the afternoon. I don't let the coffee control me. I enjoy it. I drink it. Instead of drinking 10 cups, I drink two cups. Instead of drinking it first thing in the morning, I will drink it in the afternoon. I will control my physical urges and weakness and desires, so I'm in control and not the coffee controlling me. Go watch this lecture. It's the last lecture posted on YouTube. Very powerful lecture. So, the Sitra Achra knows how to get dressed in your body and to pull you to all sorts of different directions for you to receive physical pleasures, and you need to fight it to remove yourself from these physical pleasures. And I'm talking I talked about example now with men looking at women, food. It can be with many different other things. Anything that gives you physical pleasure, food, sleeping, whatever it is, you have a constant fight with the Sitra Achra. That's one of the ways how we refine 49 levels of impurity. And And what I'm giving you now is like the tip of the tip of the tip of this concept. But I want to refer to more of the level of the Sitra Achra that is controlling your mind, controlling your brain, controlling your opinions, and distorting your opinions, and controlling your mind in a way that you think something, but really it's taking you to a completely different direction. The Ohr HaChaim says that before the redemption, we're going to enter enter the 50th gate of impurity, Shaar HaNun. And the 50th gate of impurity in our generation is what we known as communication. Uh you see that the level of communication in our generation is completely different than the communication how it was 10, 20, and 50 years ago. Everybody today has a phone. Everybody's connected to the internet. Everything is exposed. You can reach almost anything through the internet, and the level of communication in our generation is not in the levels where we know 10 years ago, 20 years ago, and definitely not 50 years ago. And don't forget that for 3, 4, 5,000 years, the communication was always the same. Only in the last few decades it's changing and becoming more and more and more, and we're in a level we're in a generation of information and communication, and everything is accessible. This is really a prison to your brain. That's how the Ohr HaChaim explains it. That's when the Sitra Achra controls your mind. Most people today, they're brainwashed. Most people today are controlled by the media and by what what they watch all day long. Their opinions, how they think. I'll give you one example of many. Look at the anti-Semitism rising now in the last few years in the world. Everywhere that you go, what are they're saying? Oh, the Jews are killing babies in Gaza. Genocide. Killing people. And does it really happen? No. Jews are killing babies? No. My killing babies? You killing babies? Is there a genocide in Aza? No. You see how the media and communication is spreading a certain lie in the many different channels and the masses fall for that. Most of the people who point the finger and say, "Oh, the Jews are doing it. Killing babies in Aza." They don't even know where Aza is on the map. They have a been here. They just being fed so much lies and so much propaganda that that's what they believe. That's what they think. That's what they how they act. Perfect example. All it takes is a few Tucker Carlsons that are spreading lies all day long, all day long. The Jews, the Jews, the Jews. Genocide, killing babies, attacking. They It's not the facts. It's not the truth. It's not the reality. But, you have millions who are just being fed all day long. Free Palestine, free Palestine. From the river to the sea. The Jews are killing. They're doing genocide. The idea of the Zionism, blah blah blah blah blah. And then you have the masses of the people believing in that and the Sitra Ahra is controlling their brain. That's your brain is in a prison. Now, I'm giving one example that might be less relating to us as Jews or Jew lovers. But, the fact is that when the Sitra Ahra controls your brain, your brain is in a prison. And that's the majority of people, by the way. And could very much be even you that your brain is in in a prison of the Sitra Ahra. And this comes in many different ways. I'll elaborate that on that, but let me first continue and then And talk about that more. When we went to Mitzrayim, we were sunk into 49 gates of impurity. And we had to go out of Mitzrayim, out of a state of limitation, and go through 49 days of purification, refinement, and elevation, which is the days that we're going through now, the 49 days of the Omer, in order for us to receive the Torah. So, now, in the end generation, we are already sunk into the 50th gate of impurity. Not the 49 gates, we're already in the 50th gate of impurity. And the only thing that can purify and fix this 50th gate of impurity is the book of the Zohar. And that's why the book of the Zohar was revealed only in our generation. I mean, it came a few genera- a few hundred years ago. Up until 100 years ago, really till the Baal HaSulam came, the Zohar was not really revealed. About 100 years ago lived a great tzaddik. He's known as Baal HaSulam, Rabbi Ashlag. And he, not only that he taught the Zohar, he explained the Zohar in a deep and profound way. And really, that's when the Zohar started becoming more famous and more known. And now, >> [laughter] >> now, you go to the store and you buy a set of Zohar and you learn Zohar. The reality is that most people don't know how to learn the Zohar. The sad reality is that the Sitra Achra is already controlling many different groups that are pretending to be teaching Zohar, and they're just feeding you 99% of truth and then the 1% of lies. Very few really can have access to to the depth of the Zohar. You need to learn the Zohar in the language that it was written. You can't learn the Zohar in English. You have to learn the Zohar in Aramaic. And not a lot of people know how to read it and explain it and teach it. I'm already telling you, yeah, there's a it's much more accessible now, but I'm already warning you that a lot of the Zohar that you'll find, especially online, is is distorted. It's not 100% correct. You got to be very, very careful who you feeding from the teaching of the Zohar. But nevertheless, the only thing that can release your mind from this prison of the Sitra Achra is the teachings of the Zohar. That's it. That's There's no other other way. That's why it's now revealed. And the way it's revealed, not necessarily for people who just just learning the Zohar in in in a direct way, but most of the books that a lot of people are are learning in our days, it's all based on the Zohar. If you are Lubavitcher and you're learning Tanya, Tanya is all based on the Zohar. If you are a lover of Breslov, well, the whole Likutei Moharan is based on the Zohar. All the teachings of Hasidut is based on the Zohar. Most of the teachings of our generation that is accessible to a lot of people, the famous ones of them is definitely Likutei Moharan and the Tanya, it's all based on the Zohar. So, we already brought in our generation a much more clearer way of learning the Zohar, but it's all based on the Zohar. >> [snorts] >> The Zohar, like I said before, is the Tevat Noach, the Noah's Ark of our generation. The only ones who will have access to the Zohar will be saved from the flood of before Mashiach is coming. Now, we're already in this flood. We're already in this flood. You don't see water, but I can tell you that most people are subject to this flood. They're drowning in this flood. This flood of communication. The flood of the of electronics. The flood that is controlling everybody's minds. And most likely you are also part of this flood and you don't even know because the sitra achra has your mind so wrapped around their tumah that you don't even know that you are part of this flood. And I know a lot of people saying, "Oh, no, what are you talking about? Um I I know what's going on around in the world." No, okay, I can already tell you that a fraction a fraction of people are released from this flood. Even if you think that you know what's going on, even if you think that you know the truth, even if you think that you see all I see all the conspiracies and a fraction of people in our generation are in the ark already and they're protected from the heavy waters of this flood. And I know that most of the people who watch me, if they're not already in the ark, then they're on the way to the ark. So, it's easier to explain to them how bad the situation is, but the fact is and hopefully you'll get some common sense tonight to understand that even that you think that you are awake and that you see what's going on, you are in the flood. And few few people are already in the ark. And the ark is only the book of the Zohar. And it doesn't mean that you need to learn it in a way that you understand cuz most people learn the Zohar, they don't understand nothing. It's just a just about of reading the text. That's it. That's already what puts you in the ark. To learn it in a way that you understand, that's a whole different thing. But it's enough for just reading the text and [clears throat] having your mouth repeating it or being involved in a class, that's it. You're already entering the ark. The reality, like I said and I'll elaborate on that now, is that most people the sitra achra is controlling their brain. So, how they're thinking is controlled by the sitra achra. Their opinions is controlled by the sitra achra. How they perceive things, how they judge things, all controlled by the sitra achra, completely dressed in their brain, in their intellectual part, what's called the mochin, and it's driving them. And by the way, I know many of you probably think, oh, it's we're talking about the non-Jews, right? And we're talking about the the not affiliate or not religious Jews, right? Then it's also 99% of the religious people that the sitra achra has controlled their brain, their mochin. Now, I know you're imagining brain. I'm talking about the intellectual part, the mochin. 99% of religious people who pray every day, eat kosher, observe Shabbat, dress modest, learn Torah, give charity, all all the whole nine yards, the sitra achra has completely control over their brains, over their over their mochin. And you see it with your own eyes. You can see it because if a person is able to believe in the existence of God, observe Shabbat, eat kosher, and not eat kosher regular, look for uh worms with a magnifying glass, and run 3 minutes before Shabbat like a chicken without the head, not to chas v'shalom, go in 1 second into the Shabbat, and so particular about every little thing, but can still talk lashon hara, or lie, or cheat, or go after other women, or whatever? My friend, your brain is completely hijacked by the sitra achra. That's the proof, by the way, because a person who's God-fearing and follows the rules to a T, but can slander another person that stand next to him? You are a slave to the sitra achra 100%. The sitra achra is controlling your men. I'm warning you. It's for your benefit. So, 99% of the religious people, I'm not talking about non-Jews right now, and I'm not talking about about secular Jews. I'm talking about That's for sure. And by the way, it has nothing to do if you're a Jew or non-Jew, religious or not, if the sitra achra is controlling your brain. Because I know non-Jews and I know uh uh secular people that their the sitra achra is not controlling their brain. And on the other hand, I know extremely observant Jews that their brain is completely controlled by the sitra achra. And the sitra achra will let you think that you are totally in control, but it will attack you in the little corners when you're not even prepared. And the proof to that is exactly like I told you, that a completely observant individual is able to slander, to cheat, to lie, to sin. I know a lot of people don't like hearing it, but you know that most men, what's going on in their mind about women? I know most people don't like hearing it. Ah, no, it's not nice to talk like that. And I'm talking facts right now. I don't know my a lot of men, fraction of men, that they don't have other women on their mind all day long. I'm not talking about the internet, pornography, all that. That's 90 That's majority of men. Religious. I'm not talking about the secular right now. A second chance. Now, be honest with yourself. What did you do on Thursday? Did you do really teshuvah? On Friday, did you really sat for 5 minutes and did teshuvah and say, "Who am I kidding? I lie, I cheat, I slander, I look to the wrong directions." No. How many of you really did teshuvah? Be real. Come on. Be honest. You sat 5 minutes with yourself and said to yourself, "Hashem, you know, I'm weak here. I'm weak there. I'm judging. I'm looking. I'm talking. I'm ju Not easy to do teshuvah because it means that you have to look at yourself >> [snorts] >> and recognize all your failures and all your faults. And you have an ego. I I I'm at fault here." Very few people know how to do teshuvah. Very few people know how to turn the finger at themselves and says, "I'm weak. I can't hold my my yetzer hara. I have this weakness and that weakness." And I'm not saying everybody. I'm just saying in general. The majority. So, it doesn't matter you're Jew, non-Jew, religious, not religious, once the Sitra Achra is in, to get the Sitra Achra out, and that's why most people are unhappy, are confused, uh anxiety, fears, uncertainty, and many other emotional issues because why? How they're thinking. How they're thinking of others. Their level of emunah, their level of of their peace in their heart and their mind and their body. So the sitra achra doesn't mean you're bad. It just means it is controlling you. And why? Cuz you let it in. How do you let it in? With your sins. And you do teshuvah, you start pushing the sitra achra out. If something is controlling you, then you have a long way to go. The teachings of Kabbalah, Zohar, and Chassidus teaches you, "No, no, no, no, no. You you are you have to be in control. You have to control everything." And if I have a weakness to something, I have many weaknesses. What do you think that I'm a saint? And if I have I've been to I've been to the secular world half my life. I have tasted all the flavors of all sins. So, I have the desire and I have the knowledge of how it tastes. Like Jonah was sleeping in the in the ship. When your vessels are sleeping, then everything is spiritually dead. You might think that you are the most religious person in the world. You think that you are connected to God. You think that you are spiritual. You think that you are enlightened. You think that you are educated. You think that you know you figured out the conspiracies of the world. You're like a lemur, sleeping. You are completely sleeping. Now, how is that affecting your body? Anxiety, fear, worrying, uncertainty, no peace, no direction, no focus. You take one step forward, 10 step back. In your religious life, you're trying to fight your inclination. You are able to hold 2 3 days, boom, you're thrown back into the storm. No peace. Waves are washing you from side to side every day, all day. No peace. One wave is your livelihood, your parnassa. Another one, your house, your landlord, your the bills, lawsuits, kids. Oh, all day long. I don't know a lot of people that their life is like a calm ocean. Most people, their life is like a storm ocean. Like Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai is talking, we're in a flood. You know how the flood looked? What do you think the flood was just a bunch of water? You know how the flood looked in regards to waves? Probably these massive waves that it destroyed everything. So, we're not now maybe not in a physical flood, but we're definitely in an emotional or in a spiritual flood. No question about it. And most people, their life is a storm. Everything is in a storm version. Everything is stormy. No peace, no calm. Everything is complete chaos. And the fact is that one day you're good, 3 days you're not. And when you put your head up, boom, you get kicked down. For the ones who are less observant, then the storm that I'm talking about is their health issues, every day a different issue, pains, aches, doctors this, that. The majority, the storm that hits them is their livelihood, money, no peace with their money, all day long running around their tail, how am I paying my rent, how am I paying my mortgage, where am I getting the next money to pay, never have money in my pocket, I make money, all goes out. And then the rest of the storms that we all are familiar with, relationships, educating the kids, every little thing that I'm battling with. You need to climb and climb and climb. Okay, a few setbacks, but not in a way that your spiritual growth is coming with pulling teeth. Something's wrong here. If you're not constantly growing spiritually, and everything is a struggle when it comes to your spiritual growth. So, the sad reality is that most people, like I said, are A prisoners in their own mind. Brainwashed completely. Either by the media, either there by the junk that they watch all day long, either by their rabbi who's telling them whatever junk he's telling them. And I know it's hard for you to accept it and to believe. And I know a lot of people don't like hearing it. But the majority what's out there is a rab. And most people are prisoners to that. And I know I know the excuses. I'm being educated. I'm sharing Torah. I'm learning Torah. That's the one I get the most, but I watch your videos. So, don't watch my videos on Instagram and watch my videos somewhere else. Or you don't need to watch my videos. You need to take a safer Torah and learn it. You don't learn Torah from YouTube. I don't learn Torah on YouTube or Instagram or all these places. I learn Torah from books. So, I know what people say, but I don't have any other way. Okay, I understand there's kosher ways to learn Torah online, but I'm already telling you if your mind is telling you that you're learning Torah on YouTube, that's a perfect example how you are in a spiritual prison. Because for 4,000 years we've been learning Torah from books, not from screens. And I know I put videos online because that's I you know that a few years ago I I already told you that. A few years ago I went to my rabbi and I told him, "I don't want to be on all the social media. I don't want my name there. I don't want my face there. I don't want my videos there." He says, "Yeah, but if you're not going to be on social media, how are you going to reach people? How are you you are a light in the darkness. You are spreading Torah." You don't have to go physically on the network, but don't take your videos off. Don't close your accounts. How many people find your videos? How many people are inspired by you? So, I'm already telling you use that and then move on to off. But the reality is not to drift too much. If you need to know your indication. If you're on your phone like more than a few minutes a day I don't care what excuse your mind tells you, you are a prisoner. Test yourself. I've been saying that for the last 10 years. Most people when they eat dinner, they don't talk. They're on the phone. Most families when they eat dinner, everybody's on their phones. That's the biggest cancer of our generation. It's the phones. I've been saying it like a broken record for years. And that's your indication. If you are on your phone not doing your business or using it as a GPS or to ask a question or and you just like this watching stupid video after a stupid video after a stupid video, then you Well, I'm sorry to tell you you are the water of the flood is still here. And you don't even know how much you are a prisoner. And your mind gives you all the excuses. I'm learning Torah, I'm being educated, I'm sharing, I'm this, I'm that, I'm learning. Be true to yourself. Be true to yourself. When are you really learning? Now, I know a lot of people will raise their hands and say, "But I'm not like this all day long." Then, you are one out of 500,000 to to start with. And then, you have to see I'm just giving the indication how you know that you are a prisoner. But I'm telling you how you need to see if you need to make an an analogy where am I holding is is the phone. Because that's the flood that talking. That's the end of the song. That's sad. 300 people. 300 people that their mind won't go crazy when Mashiach is going to stand. It says later on he will call and 8,000 people will answer. Which means if Mashiach comes today most people won't be able to handle the truth when the truth will be unveiled. That's why the Zohar says the test when Mashiach is going to come will be emunah. Because the the the test will be how much you believe in Hashem. The shekel, the sitra achra, what it's going to show us before Mashiach comes, most people their bone they'll fail the test of emunah, believing in Hashem. Part of the turbulence that we're going now is to build our emunah. So, I'm not going to continue telling you how bad the situation is. It says in the Zohar itself, "Be-sifra da yifkon bar ahame migaluta." With this book, you will leave the exile with mercy. You want to leave this exile with mercy? You have to be connected to the Zohar in one way or another. If you don't learn one page a day of Zohar every day, and you don't need to understand what you're learning, by the way. You just need to what's called girsa, just to engross, just to read like you [clears throat] do with Tehillim. And I know a lot of people say, "Oh, yeah." And by the way, the problem is that a lot of what you can find online with the Zohar is all fake. It's not real. Not going to start naming now all the fake organizations that are talking about the Zohar, teaching the Zohar. But, the sad reality is that most people, their kelim, their vessels are sleeping. And you need to wake it up. And How What What wakes up these kelim, these vessels, is only what's called the or makif, a surrounding light. That's why most of the religious people the more the learning what's called the pshat, the the revealed part of the Torah. So, the or panimi is revealed, but not the or makeif. The surrounding light, or what's called the the sod. The unrevealed part, the esoteric part of the Torah. That's the sod. So, to make a very long story short, today is the Hilula of Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai. And yes, you still have a yetzer hara, you have an inclination, you have desires, you have lusts, but you are in control. You don't have something controlling you. Not your weakness, not your desire, not your lust, and definitely not your phone. And I know it's very hard to perceive. A lot of people don't realize, but like I told you, a prisoner cannot let himself out of his own cell. You need somebody to come and tell you you are a prisoner. And I'm coming and telling you that most people, including most of you, are prisoners in your own brain, in your own cell. So, you can't open the door. Let Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai do it for you. Do teshuvah, learn Torah. Today's a very powerful day. Give some charity, sit with yourself, do hitbodedut, reflect, write on a piece of paper, what are your weaknesses? Where are you failing? What were Where do you want to be better? What do you want to fix in your life? Be very objective. Jump out of your skin and out of your body for a few minutes. You see what I do? I have papers. I write down all the things that you don't like about your life. How you think, how you talk, what you eat, what you don't eat, your habits, your bad habits, your good habits, your weaknesses, your inclinations, your lusts. Write it all down. And pray to Hashem, I want get rid of this, I want to get rid of that. I don't want this in my life. I don't want that. I don't want to be hateful. I don't want to be resentful. I don't want to be judgmental. I don't want to be quick to anger. I don't want to be quick to judge. Do real teshuvah. I've dozens of videos online explaining that. But there's no time. I'm telling you now, write down what I just told you now in the last 3 minutes. Sit for 5 minutes, write down on a piece of paper everything that you don't like in your life. And be objective. Don't say, "Oh, it's her fault. It's his fault. It's their fault." My uh moral I read every day Ger at the Ramban. That's how I made teshuvah. When I became observant, my friend gave me the letter of Nachmanides. That was my Torah. And he says, "Read this again it every day." He says, "Well, read it once a week. Minimum once a week." But he says, "If you actually read it, then you know what I'm talking about." He says, "Bechol Yom shetikraena yaanucha min hashamaim." And every time that you're going to read it, they're going to answer your prayers from the heavens. It's two short pages, the letters of Nachmanides. Read it. Apply it in your life. And you'll see how he gives you simple instructions how to do teshuvah, and how to lead your life. And you when you lead your life, when you're looking at yourself, and you're not throwing blame at the entire world, that's when you start being elevated. He says there, "Hashpel atsmekha venasekha makom." Humble yourself, and Hashem will elevate you and raise you. Humble yourself means that you're saying, "I'm wrong, not him, not her, not this, not that." Take advantage. Today is such a powerful day, Hod shebeHod. You can't fight the sitra achra, especially when it reaches the 50th gate of impurity. He left us all the tools. He carved the way. And by the way, the day that the tzaddik decides to leave the world, it's the day that he says, "This is the day that I'm leaving my impression on this world." It's not just another day. So, all we have left from him is to wish you unbelievable success. And I hope and wish for you strength and determination that you can make a huge change in your life, that it's all about being focused on what you need to do.
