quite a bit of updates quite a bit of updates and one of those updates is something that I've uh been working on for a very long time very long time uh many of you that have been uh listening to us and learning together with us for for some time I've heard me bring up the name of RA Shalom many times uh ra Shalom was one of the greatest kiru rabbis in history uh without any question uh so much so that he literally built communities not just help people do cha but literally built communities in in uh in Staton Island in uh uh Lakewood in uh different parts of uh of America and other places literally there were communities that were built as a result of all the amazing work that he did and um those that have read up a little bit about him know that you know he actually although he was Israeli he went to and learned in Lakewood for some years uh but then eventually decided to go back to Isel to uh toh start doing kiru and uh before he went they really wanted the rebi over there wanted to to keep him in America to keep him learning to he says you have to stay he said no Rabbi I got to go back he says listen if you stay with us you stay with us here in Lakewood you keep learning the where you are you're going to be the next you're going to be the biggest Rabbi in the world and he told them Rabbi I got to go back he wanted to help do so I mean he gave up literally becoming the biggest Rabbi in the generation uh another R kvki another stip goon another uh raash that's the uh that's how how much of a genius he was in order for to get closer to and he became the of but nonetheless anyone that listens to his knows that they're full every sh is different from the other they're all full of full of insights and really it's a uh for anyone that speaks Hebrew understands Hebrew it's a must and he had a commanding voice and Persona about him that the walls the walls did CH uh I've listened to quite a bit of his over the years uh I could tell you that uh it's a um it's one of those things where it's just diamonds just pure diamonds so now one of the one of the uh things that uh was unfortunate for many years is the fact that RAV again although he lived in America for for for years uh you can't really find uh much in English and the reason why is because he only had two of his lectures in English uh the rest of them are all hundreds and hundreds of uh shim in Hebrew that you can find but the English there's only one or two three videos in English I think we've publicized a couple of them over the years uh we even have them in one of our videos where he talks about Shabbat but uh really it's not nothing to compare nothing to compare the English versus the Hebrew uh that he had uh but nonetheless so that means the English speaking public literally was missing it missing this holy Torah now years ago I uh saw that and discovered uh that uh his dear son uh his children they took the initiative his different parts of his family all all people that love t uh took the initiative and took his writing took his shim took took his lectures and wrote them down in English in a readable format and uh the first book that was translated to English cuz he had many books uh in Hebrew uh was uh this well-known book called n now this n it's something like 800 pages but you're going to read it in two days because it's just that good it's beautiful Torah short little exerts about everything uh it's uh truly unbelievable I highly highly recommend it now before you go to the Internet before you go looking for it I'm going to tell you you're going to have a problem what's the problem you're not going to find it you're going to find it in a bunch of places but they're out of stock and now you say okay so I'll just wait for next week for them to be in stock no they've been out of stock for over a year two years already in America and everywhere else no one sells the books worse yet the other books that he has that were translated to English not only are out of stock they've never been in stock they simply have never been in stock and uh which means that uh there's a missing Torah out there so we uh took the initiative took the uh time I contacted one of my uh dear friends is actually married married to uh to uh his niece to Raven's niece and uh he connected me with Raven's son and uh we uh actually have uh after a lot of time and investment and so on we decided that we need to do something for for for the people that love T and uh and even the righteous that want to learn serious M uh that uh not just in lectures but also in writings because very hard to find things in in in in text because most of the uh new books coming out today they're good but anyone that likes this type of style of of speaking and emit is uh hard pressed with with some of the stuff that's out there today uh so uh I knew that there's a bunch of books there to get but no one's selling them and we got a sets and what we announced today is that we now have available the sets the complete sets of Raven's uh English books where it's two different types of sets one set is of six books and uh six or seven books and one set is of 11 books so you have this book included in it uh you have the uh one book that's also they're all uh uh this is um uh heart hard uh copy uh hard cover this isuka for anyone who wants to learn for coming up uh in a very short period of time this is it uh this also has a the second set the bigger set that has 11 books has a couple of Pocket Edition books one of them is Shabbat which is truly unbelievable you want to learn about Shabbat as far as the of Shabbat and things of that nature this is the best of the best uh so anyway there is a 11 two different types of sets or you know we're not selling them individually don't ask me can I just buy one of them uh we're selling them only a sets and uh if anybody wants to have a complete sh of M pretty much from again uh you can go to our website store.org and and Order yourself a set and we'll try to ship it out to you as soon as we can um and uh you know if we see that there is a enough demand uh of course we'll continue keeping the stock uh you know uh up and uh and keep bringing more so I don't generally deal with books the stuff that we have that we publish ourselves of 's books and things like that we we give them for free uh you know and for anyone that's uh you know as far as books I usually recommend for people to go to uh either to uh you know people that I know like um um our dear friend uh David yv you know at Ben books or go to Art scroll go to mosim and so on but this is a uh set apparently that uh you know no one has carried for sometime and uh you know apparently no one knows enough about it and uh I can tell you from experience of Reddit it's beautiful beautiful Torah uh something that I haven't seen uh in quite a you know I haven't seen period I haven't seen uh so the sets are now available on our website store we're not going to become a book store uh we're only going to deal with unique books that uh apparently are not available elsewhere uh from time to time that's that's what we're doing uh but again like I said it's only being sold as a set we're not selling as individual just because I don't have the staff the Manpower nor the patience to uh to become a bookstore um so anyway this is one bit of news we just published today now uh as far as um the uh bet the BET mus that we signed a lease in uh a little bit of a uh um I guess I don't want to call it really bad news it's not really bad news but it is a uh uh a delay um after we you know we signed a lease we uh gave the money everything was good we started ordering a bunch of stuff books this that the other thing whatever we needed we're already looking at uh talking to two different companies for the uh ordering the customized uh uh besset furniture and so on and you know pretty much already looking at things as if we have everything uh in plan and uh but in the process we had to get a certificate of occupancy in order to occupy the space uh this is one of the policies here in in Cooper City and I'm assuming in other places I'm used to uh where the building has a certificate of occupancy and that's it the businesses don't need to have it but apparently here that's different anyway um in the process of uh filing for the certificate of occupancy the city informed us that it's not possible to get a certificate of occupancy uh because the building made a big boo boo the building uh uh made a big mistake uh they do not have the ability to lease a space to a synagogue or anything that's of assembly meaning uh anything that is a uh uh where people congregate for long periods of time whether it's a different a a synagogue church or even a let's say a school uh of any kind anything that people show up a bunch of people show up at a certain amount of time and stay there for a while that's called assembly everything else is retail like somebody wants to sell Donuts or coffee or or a supermarket people go in and out that's that so because of that the assembly requires much more parking long story short because I want to go into the shield to I don't want to miss anything the building made a mistake and uh they do not have the permission to have it uh or they already have some in the in the uh in the shopping center but uh they're maxed out and the only way to get it is if they get a variance and a variance takes a very long time and uh a lot of money and um unfortunately uh you know from from what it looks like right now the building is not willing to invest this money uh or time to get this variance which uh would leave us with really only one choice which is to get out of this lease and we're back to square one of needing to find a location uh to uh to start our operations and uh from a lot of research time headaches and so on it seems to me that really our only way is to buy a place uh to buy a building uh so uh for any of you that uh have money or know people with money that are willing to uh help you know build a u uh the the future of Judaism in America uh you want to help us go to uh our website uh bh.com uh it's one of our campaigns to to to build the ISA we need to raise several million dollar to do it if you have uh $5 to donate or $5 million to donate both are welcome and that's actually one of the last points I want to bring up is this wonderful woman uh send me a uh she sends donations from time to time and uh she send me uh short letters and in her letter she said something that really like broke my heart uh but in a good way where she you know she uh sent something like $60 and she thanked me nonstop like half the letter is thanking me for giving her an opportunity to donate because she thought that really we would only accept uh big donations and she said thank you for accepting it and and for encouraging me to do it and so on uh and uh telling us that it's always welcome regardless of what it is and to me that's worth a bill ion dollar not $60 it's worth a billion dollars because that's you know that's the the says what does he want he wants your heart he wants your heart and uh and make no mistake about it is not only the one that knows what's in your bank account but he also knows what you're going to make and he's also the one that decides what you're going to make and what you're going to have in your bank account and uh he knows what you can handle and what you can't and the reality is is that when somebody makes a sacrifice to to donate you know a piece of the hard-earned money that they have you know they're donating 10% let's say of their income as M or or tith in English uh on a regular basis for the sake of tah it doesn't matter what the amount is if you donated that 10% or if you're you're you have a lot of 9 you're donating 20% you know and it doesn't matter what the amount of money is like if your income is $10 million or your income is $10,000 or your income is $1,000 okay and you donated that 10% for the sake of helping us publicize Torah around the world to wonderful people like yourself and others to help do Chua to help the righteous noahides get closer to hasem and du to help children get closer and closer to him with the truth and nothing else but the truth and you're giving that 10% it doesn't matter what the amount is if it's 10% of $1,000 being $100 10% of 10,000 being a TH or 10% of 10 million being a million dollars in a kad's eyes it is exactly the same why because he knows how difficult it you worked for it how diff difficult it is to give it needless to say how difficult it is to give it to Torah rather to give it to something that you get something right away out of it he knows and he knows how difficult it is to do it in secret why because nobody knows that you're donating nobody knows that you're donating you go to bash.org you go to the app The Bash app you go on this Facebook live you donate no one knows that you're donating and quite frankly even if they know they see that you donated a few dollars no one really cares you know I see these wonderful people all the time say donate donate and you know some people listen and some people don't listen the reality is no one really cares that you donate you're not getting that that o and W and E you know type of uh you know uh clap that you would get if you donated in public in in in a Sho you told people hey I'm donating $1,000 and everybody tells you you're not getting that knows how hard that is and that's the highest level that's the highest level one before the highest level of giving takaka where no one knows you're doing it practically anonymously you're not getting any credit for it from your peers but a says that gives you all the credit from him because you're donating to the right place you're donating the the the right amount and it's hard for you whether you're donating 10% of a million or you're donating 10% of $1,000 knows how hard it is to do it and trust me when I tell you that's the best money in the world to get that's the best money in the world to get because I know money that comes from people like that it's blessed money that's money that is going to allow us to do a lot of good with so I I I I appreciate all of the wonderful people that donate even the ones that don't donate 10% but when you see that someone is struggling to make it you know they they're barely making ends meat and you know making ends meat is different for different people around the world some people you know barely making ends meat it's uh you know 500,000 bucks a month and some people barely making ends meat it's $25,000 a month uh and yes it's true there are some people I know that it's literally they're making $25 $30,000 a month and they're barely making ends meat when a person still donates that 10% when they're struggling when it's tough and so on a says that's what I want that's the heart that I want so K to all of those people that donate and even more so to the people that really make the sacrifice uh because it's Partners like that that help us grow so rapidly over these last few years continue to grow uh so like I said we have the the books out now that's available we have the campaign for the Yesa uh so we could buy a building already and not waste any time building anything I thought about it you know buying land buying this buying that why waste time building things for several years let's just get the money together it's uh we're probably only going to need4 and a55 million for for for for what we need maybe a little bit more but either way if we need more we we could just mortgage the rest if we can get you know everybody that watches my shim to seriously uh take uh take this seriously and donate the substantial amounts more than usual uh we could easily raise $45 million we could easily raise $45 million and actually buy something and literally within a matter of a couple of months have it ready and uh and and and do something beautiful I personally think that uh the best thing we can do is to buy a church we could buy a huge church and uh and convert it obviously to a holy place of kadha of Holiness and that way we can get a uh a million and a half different types of MIT as a result of it number one you're removing idolatry from the world number two you're bringing more Kusha to the world and and the list goes on and on and you're not wasting time building something from scratch buying land having to do all the pipes and so on and so forth so uh but again it's going to take everybody's involvement we have 60 70,000 people that say they listen to our shim uh you know and there's at least 20,000 or so that are listen to it on a regular basis if every single person stepped up and uh donated a couple thousand two $3,000 we'd we'd be the money of course not everybody's going to be able to do such a thing so the people that can do more 10 20 30 40 $50 $100,000 now is the time to do it you don't want to do it don't do it going to send it anyway but again I have to remind people what the opportunities are now with that being said I want to tell you a story this story is a long story but it's a story that you've never heard before uh it's a story you've never heard before and I know you never heard it because it's not one of those stories that you can find in the gar it's not one of those stories that you can find in regular books it's it's a story that was written by one of the former Mas Mas in a called is commentary on the entire each part each uh uh um per of he wrote a book on it seven 800 Pages 600 Pages big books with commentary and commentary and it's just unbelievable stuff and this is about 506 years ago and uh don't quote me on the time but it's around that time and anyway in this I I uh have the copy of of the print out of it and but I learned this directly with my Rob God bless uh and uh this story is a story that we all need to hear but even more so for converts and people that want to convert uh because I hear a lot of times that you know people you know we deal with a lot of converts and uh a lot of times people you know a uh don't know enough about what's the significance of being a convert if you want to convert you know uh what should be your your push you know people always complain oh it takes too long or it's expensive or it's th if you understood how precious it is to be a convert you wouldn't complain a second about how long it's going to take you and and how much it's going to cost you because you realize that you're literally getting uh you know a uh infinity times the the lottery you know so infinity times infinity once you complete your conversion and live a righteous uh uh Jewish life on the other hand if you've already converted and you're maybe a little bit softer today not as strong today as you were when before you converted you have no idea what you're missing out on you have no idea what you're what you're wasting what kind of blessing you have the the promises that made to the converts uh it's unbelievable the the protection the things that he said to them but again it's not that every single convert they convert and they become Filthy Rich and popular and so on quite the opposite many converts have very difficult lives as you'll actually see from this story uh but the reward is extraordinary as writes in his uh a uh real story that happened uh uh not too long ago about a GED AED by name ofu was uh actually a uh son of the mayor uh in a uh in a city in uh France uh was born non-jewish and was very very wealthy his father obviously very successful and but uh he felt very empty and uh discovered one day discovered Judaism and decided that he not only wants to convert but he wants to commit the rest of his life to learning T and that's what he did throughout the difficulty of learning the language learning T learning everything he converted successfully and became became an in and uh despite the difficulty financially and otherwise he uh he was able to learn to us seriously and completed the sh uh which is something uh you know without just the Dai like a serious completing of the Shas even more intensive than uh da yomi not to discredit but people understand what I mean when they learn the sh and uh he uh became a someone that uh was uh well respected within a Torah community and uh about uh five years ago uh they discovered that he has AEM is cancer in his tongue and within relatively short period of time a lot of uh uh you know chemotherapy very painful treatment uh he uh eventually uh you know he accepted everything with love uh he was a very righteous person accepted everything with love and eventually took his back uh which happens at times where see that there's a pure uh that uh in a in a generation of Sinners sometimes takes the Roses uh instead of taking the rest because he says listen he could take one precious n like this instead of 100,000 Sinners to at least give these 100,000 Sinners more time to do cha so he took this precious [Music] n and uh as uh after as he passed away his family uh opened his uh his and they saw that his request is uh his request was to be uh buried in uh in in the mountain of and not and uh he wants to be buried in the ground and not in one of these uh floors that people are doing today which is very problematically but long story short because of the danger because it's different location and so on is aadish said okay we we we we found a place you know this is all intraday we found a place but it uh in order to give him the place uh you know it's it cost money it's 75,000 shekels now how is a family that's poorer than poor uh literally a family that uh was as poverty stricken as can be but as happy as can be with the toah satiating them non-stop because that's what they learned from their father they don't have the money they don't have 75,000 shekels you know the body is over there you know obviously time is passing we need to bury him where do you want to bury him this is his last world in Testament what do you want to do and he said well that's his request we have to honor his request okay but we can't honor his request if you can't pay the money so people ask you people ask you what are you going to do the time passes it's 5:30 in the afternoon already we're already getting to a point where it's almost coming to the night it's passing the day it's 5:30 in the afternoon a young American Young American guy passes by and he sees the commotion sees a lot of people and then he sees there's a uh uh you know a Le it's a funeral and he says what's going on what's the commotion about and they say listen this uh his last request was for him to be uh buried in and uh but it cost $75,000 we don't we don't have the money poor people people we don't have the money says hold on a second it's Young American Kid Never doesn't know who he is doesn't know nothing he himself just came to Yesa to uh to learn some Torah he calls his ABA in uh in in America he's like ABA listen I know you're busy I'm sorry but listen there's a very unique situation here there's a convert there's a convert uh that uh just died he was a very righteous person I don't know him but people speak very highly of him and he uh we need to get money to uh to bury him and I learned in Yeshiva I learned in yesh that uh we have to love the converts like you love a so we have an opportunity what do you think is Aba on the spot is Aba on a spot says okay tell give me the wi instructions I'm wiring 50,000 shekels meaning we're short 25,000 but already got 66% of the way to go just once the community got so red up that what Miracle just happened 50,000 came from nowhere that everybody red up everybody started knocking on doors literally within moments they gather up the other 25,000 and they fulfilled his last request to be buried uh among theim and and fulfilled his promise fulfilled his promise to a poor in money but rich in MIT and and and and merits uh by not only fulfilling the uh the the commitment and the promise that he says to the converts I'm going to give you bread to eat I'm going to I'm going to give you food to uh to uh uh food to eat I'm going to give you clothes to wear but also a very honorable grave and that's what he got promises and his promises are never broken they're never broken you see when a person is a real righteous convert they they live this life it's never easy but nonetheless they live this life now you have probably heard no less than 10 times from me and and many others any time converts are mentioned in a positive way that some of the most righteous people that ever lived uh were converts you know we have was a convert uh you know that when the uh asked why why did you uh make asab why did you make the Angels actually asked theem why did you make asab why did you you know he his grandson is amalik your arch enemy said to them it's worth it for me to make because from will come so we have we have a this week's we have the grandmother of the mashiah Ruth Ruth the moite and many other sadik but the one that always everyone knows is that Raba came from from converts was AKA benf his father's name was YF only question is what's the story why did his father convert who is his father does anybody know I just learned this and I'm telling you that when I learned this story both me and my rubel crying that's how beautiful the story is and I going to tell you that and I'm telling you I know you have questions but it's worth it to hear the story I'll try to keep it short and simple but it's not short and it's not simple but it's worth to here so who was RAB aka's father how did it get to where it got to what's the story I mean this is a story of a lifetime but it's a story full of uh struggle it's a story full of suffering it's a story full of the the battle that each and every single one of us needless to say the people that are converts or B need to know like the back of our hand because if Raba was as great as he was and he had to go through all of this surely we can't complain about ourselves but let's see let's see in a uh page 166 167 and on goes to details of who is this ysf the father of RAB AKA and in the city of lud the city of L there was a uh a woman named Sarah a widow and her daughter uh that was a Jewish woman that was exceptionally beautiful and exceptionally righteous and next door to her lived a a non-jewish man that was very beautiful he was a warrior and he was also very wealthy uh very welltoo uh and his name was Yosef now this YF was a very nice person and uh he wanted uh to marry Sarah but of course Sarah would tell him listen I appreciate it thank you very much for being kind but I will never marry you so long as you are not Jewish and really I only want to marry a natural born Jew but YF would constantly try to entice her talk to her whenever he had the opportunity but she was very very modest and barely ever went outside why did she barely ever go outside because at that time the evil Roman Empire was uh taking over the world and had a decree passed on every place that they conquered that the any any beautiful F woman captured by the Romans and put in the prostitution houses they had in every city where this would be a place where all of their soldiers can do whatever they want and this literally was all over the world anywhere that the Romans were had enormous huge prostitution houses as soon as they found out there's a beautiful woman in a uh certain area a bunch of soldiers would show up break down the door kill the husband and the kids take the woman no questions asked and that's it just take that's it put her in this place this unfortunately hurt the Jewish World more than anybody else beautiful Jewish women literally would not leave the house would not leave the house at all in fear that somebody would spot them some uh non-jew would spot them or some Rasha would spot them try to gain favor in the Roman's Eyes by getting their attention saying listen there's a beautiful woman living in that place over there get a few dollars for it recruitment fee and that's it is is gone forever and there's no way to get her back so one day Sarah with no choice had to get something food and she had to leave the house and uh was discovered by some rash who then told the Romans that there is a beautiful woman in this community in lud in a city of L and um without any notice without any warning a bunch of soldiers show up break down the door take Sarah and her daughter with them and bring her to the prostitution house the next door neighbor the righteous Gentile ysep found this out and was following them along of course since he was not Jewish no one suspected him of anything and he uh would follow them along to see what's going on this tadik was so righteous and her daughter was so righteous that even the thought of some filthy person touching her without being her righteous Jewish husband made them both physically sick to the point of near death near death they both had to be put into a hospital but only after the first place that saw them the first prostitution house when the commander over there saw how beautiful Sarah is he says no no no she is out of this world she doesn't belong here she has to go directly to Rome she's in the VIP section with they give it to the Caesar himself or one one of the major uh leaders over there this is something out of this world he literally uh said this you know she's out of this world and they took her to Rome ysep is following the whole way trying to see what's what's going to be but knowing that there's really not much that he can do by the time she got to Rome both her and her daughter get sick to the point of near death they're both admitted to the hospital over there and ysep the righteous Gentile comes every day and tries to feed them and take care of them the best that he possibly can but again he knows that as soon as she gets healthy they're going to take her to the prostitution house which is the same thing that happened to had two daughters one of them was which married and another one of his daughters she was very beautiful but uh because she uh um showed her her beauty just literally one second she enjoyed that someone enjoyed her beauty for a second Hashem punished her and the the Romans put her in one of those prostitution houses and nearly took took her but he saved her with a miraculous story uh we'll talk about another time so we have these two righteous women in the hospital a righteous Gentile trying to take care of them to keep them alive but the same token knowing that if they die it they may even prefer that rather than going and becoming you know public property is so one of the days that yusf leaves the hospital he sees that there's a whole Entourage of soldiers walking in the uh you know going through the streets with their horses and then he sees there's a very honorable person somewhere in between them and he looks and he sees ah that is the Caesars the the king over there his son as his son and he says to the people where to the soldiers where where are you going where are you going he says we're going hunting with the uh with the Caesar son he says your highness your highness he talks to the Caesar son your highness I am a master I'm a master hunter Warrior please let me let me join uh join your honor he said sure give him a horse and uh let's go and that's what happened so ysep joins the uh Caesar's son and his uh rest of his soldiers to go on a hunting trip and in those days it's not hunting like today with guns looking for a deer here and there no they were hunting for Lions they were hunting for Lions they were hunting for Tigers they hunting for all types of very very aggressive animals uh they themselves were aggressive animals and and uh as soon as they arrive at the location as you would have it a whole group a whole family of of lions show up and they say it's on soldiers Go full force with the dogs with everything and start chasing down the Lions we're talking about many many soldiers and everybody's chasing and ysep is chasing and he is following everyone and he sees that the Caesar's son the Caesar's son he's going he's going he's going and his horse gets stuck in something and the Caesar son falls off the horse and everybody else continues to ride on because they didn't even know it happened but because yep was in the back wanted this to happen he sees him and he stops and he sees that the Caesar son is in very very terrible condition broke some bones bleeding everywhere and the rest of the soldiers are hunting going chasing with no care in the world because that's what they came here for so ysep takes the Caesar's son over his shoulders for you to pay taxes then yes you have to pay taxes uh a uh there is a uh a uh a permission for for Torah Scholars not to pay taxes but that's a completely different ruling and a different question altogether but that's for Torah Scholars which a unique treatment for them they're Torah Scholars when a Torah scholar someone learned to non-stop he wants to make a living let's say every so often and let's say he sells jewelry but he really spends all of his time learning to but every so often to make the money that he needs to make for the month or for the year oh let's say spend a couple of hours to let's say go to the street and if there's let's say an event and everybody's there selling their jewelry and a toah Torah scholar comes everyone has to shut down their uh their business everyone has to stop until he finishes selling all of his Goods why he's the he's the T SCH he gets special treatment he gets special treatment until he makes his living until he makes all the money no one's allowed to sell anything everyone has to you know look at his merchandise see if it's good and buy it if they if they decide it's good but no one's allowed to get in his way you have to honor for the Torah so he can go back and learn Torah right away same thing goes with taxes Torah Scholars uh you know have according to the Torah not the rule of the land so again you not have to valate the rule of the land but nonetheless Torah Scholars have special treatment according to the Torah when it comes to taxes but the average Joe the average person even if the average person is religious he does not he's not allowed to uh uh to uh not pay pay taxes and things like that uh as far as legal loopholes that depends what you define as legal loopholes uh you know in order to save money in order to make money some people call things legal loopholes not because it's a uh legal but rather because it's a loophole but they just say it's only legal because I haven't gotten caught so you know I can't just give you a blanket statement of yes or no based on uh the term legal loopholes if it's a something that's permissible according to the law you're allowed to do it if it's forbidden according to the law you're not allowed to do it simple I'll give you an example a legitimate legal loophole in America is something called 1031 exchange what's 1031 exchange 1031 exchange is let's say somebody invests money in real estate he buys let's say a house for uh you know for $200,000 now he buys this uh $200,000 house and a house appr appreciates to let's say $500,000 now if he sells the house if he sells the house yeah has to pay taxes on the $300,000 gain right but the United States has a rule has a tax ruling which is in essence called is a legitimate legal loophole which is if he sells this house at a profit he sells it let's say for $500,000 but he reinvests that five entire $500,000 into into a uh uh or invest the money into a more expensive property let's say he buys another house for $51,000 or he buys a million doll whatever it is but a more expensive house even if he really just mortgages all of that money and he keeps all the cash does that that doesn't really matter but in essence he reinvests the original capital and the uh uh the the gain plus a dollar or more he does not have to pay taxes on that gain that he has that taxes are deferred that's a legitimate legal loophole uh there's Bankruptcy Legal loopholes and things like that if it's legitimate legal and it's a way to make money save money no problem but again it has to be legal according to the law of the land not legal so long as you don't get caught that's not legal that's illegal but you know no one got no one caught you so again you have to make sure that uh you're following uh Gentiles in the world the uh Hashem wanted to in essence steer the world into something that's a little closer to uh to Judaism even if a person is not Jewish so in essence he allowed the world to have these two uh other religions that for all intents and purposes are also monotheistic now uh Islam according to the rambam is 100% monotheistic at least the Islam of 800 years ago that the rambam was discussing today's Islam I believe is similar if not the same but some people tell me that it's different either way when they say Allah they they are they're talking about the same God of Israel but again the point is is that according to the ram Islam is considered monotheistic Christianity on the other hand is considered idolatry but most Christians do not consider themselves Idol worshippers because they don't think that thinking that God has three parts is idolatry they don't think that God being a human being is idolatry they don't realize that they're Idol worshippers so the point is from their perspective even though from the Torah perspective they're wrong but from their perspective there're you know the Christians and the Catholics are also monotheistic and so are the Muslims Islam so that makes it easier for them to to accept the not only the one and only God but also all of Judaism and the entire Tor and the Messiah when that time comes either in their own particular lives and they can convert or become righteous no hides or when the mhia eventually come but again don't think for a second that anyone that still believes and follows uh these different types of heretical beliefs and Idol worshipping beliefs is going to be saved by the Messiah they're not they're not even though they were taught that way and so on they're still not going to be saved only people going to be saved at the time of mashiah are people that follow the Torah only the Torah nothing else uh so but the point is in order for somebody to abandon uh let say a statue and go and uh become a uh you know a believer in tah it's a much further stretch than let's say somebody abandoning let's say the New Testament and just following the Torah which they call the Old Testament so causing you to violate the Torah so it's allowed to have a pet but again you have to know the laws of owning a pet also for a Jew uh to uh to have AET pet they have to know that on Shabbat that pet is considered M meaning you're not allowed to hold your pet you're not allowed to pet it on Shabbat uh and if you going to have to walk it let's say in order for it to relieve itself you have to have a very short leash and make sure not to pick up the waste not to pick up the waste uh because that waste is considered M so there's laws that have to do with owning pets hence the reason why I say it's not really recommended because most people uh you know don't know these rules and they end up in the tah for for for the sake of these pets which is ridiculous uh but if somebody knows the rules and is willing to follow them and is going to follow them they no problem they can have pets I have actually a friend of mine he's an he learns T and he has like his house like a little Zoo he has all types of animals he loves animals he has parrots he has all types of birds and fish and uh reptiles and dog he's got a whole zoo in his house and he loves it oh good fam he learns a lot of to so it's of the four people out of the four people that went to the PES only was the uh the vessel that was able to handle it uh only just like for example out of all of the prophets we've ever had there are 55 prophets mentioned in the tanak and over 1.2 million prophets throughout all of history out of all of the prophets the ramb writes in onlyu was the one that was able to receive his prophecy while being awake and and walking around the rest of the people they were they were KES you know of course these are Big you know the prophet Isaiah all of these people but none of them were able to receive the prophecy while being awake all of them had to either do it through uh a dream or some type of uh epilepsy or or a certain TR or different uh things that in essence they were all laying down and uh not alert if you will in in this world uh when they received their prophecy they were not capable of doing it only mosu was and the by the r explains that's because mosu purified his character traits to the point of perfection it was the difference prophecy between all of the prophets throughout all of time was based on how much they perfected their character traits so allthough all of them were perfect in comparison to us or what we could ever be but the point being is in their level some reached let's say 75% of their potential 80% of their potential 85% of their potential mosu reached the top he reached the Perfection and that's why he was able to receive prophecy at the the highest possible level due to his Perfection of character traits hence the reason why he's called the Hest man that ever lived the others are also called many many good things and Hashem says I love abah ainu and uh and a lot of compliments about the other but nonetheless none of them were prophets like mosu because mosu perfected his character traits he became the perfect vessel to the point when Mal came to take his when he's 120 the the uh uh when he came the the Nish told theem I don't want to leave the body I don't want to leave the body this body is so pure it's so perfect where else can I go that would be so where the body became as pure as the nem says yeah but has a job but the sh wanted to the laws that only pertain to Jews uh but the laws that pertain to them the Torah that pertains to them which is the five books of Moses the the prophets the writings and uh M which is ethical teachings they're not only supposed to learn it they're obligated to learn it in order to serve hem so where are they going to learn it from they're going to learn it from a rabbi uh it's much better for them to learn it from a rabbi than to learn it from someone that's not a rabbi because the obviously the the rabbi has spent enough time to know what he's allowed to teach them what he's not allowed to teach them I actually had one time a guy that uh started uh learning toah with us uh and he was a very very nice guy uh and um he uh wanted to convert to Judaism but he had all types of issues and so on uh that were delaying things but long story short he was very very nice guy and uh he uh you know he got a little bit ahead of himself like some people do he got a little bit too excited uh when he got into uh Torah and everything and he said listen I like what you do I said what do you mean you like what I do he said you teach you make videos and so on I said yeah okay well first focus on you know focus on learning and then teaching you know focus on you know learning enough and eventually becoming a Jew and then uh you know you could uh think maybe eventually you'll teach he didn't really like that advice and he decided to start making videos making videos teaching toat not teaching uh uh things that were uh just Rel into no hides but teaching things as if he's a Jew he looked like a Jew he had a keeper like a Jew he grew a beard like a Jew and for all intents and purposes people thought he was a Jew and he started teaching to to people as if he's a Jew and this was very very problematic uh there's not much that I can do but did his own and uh not only uh did he uh stop teaching but he lost his desire to even be Jewish eventually uh why because when a person does not learn toah that he's supposed to uh and he only learns T that he feels like he's doing that means he's not doing it for the sake of hasem he's doing it for himself many times people tell me listen I know I'm not Jewish but I really want to learn gar I said yeah but if you're not Jewish you're not allowed to learn gar yeah but maybe you're wrong I said that's not my opinion it's what sages say you know learn now I'm going to learn it anyway okay learn whatever you want it says death penalty for for know how that learn but you want to do it go ahead and do it but the reality like oh no I think you're fanatic it's actually helps me gets closer to Hashem blah blah blah reality is not only they're not closer to hem they're further from hem why because if you were learning Torah for the sake of serving hem that means you would listen to the Servants of hem and you would listen to what Tor says itself but because you're learning tah while forsaking The Messengers of hem and you're just learning toah the way you feel like it that means you're not doing it for hem you're doing it for yourself meaning that all of your Torah is one big pile of ego and the Tora says ego is considered disgusting in the eyes of hasem so all of those people that don't listen to the sages they are no hides and they keep Shabbat anyway they're no hides and they learn anyway they're noahides and they do things that are forbidden for noahides no not only you're not going to get a merit for it not only you're not going to get a reward for it but it's actually a sin you're going to get punished severely for you're sin going to get punished severely for same goes with uh Jews Jews that learn tah that's inappropriate for them they're not going to get rewarded for it so for example somebody to Bal Chua just started yesterday he decides he wants to learn cabala he wants to start learning Z he wants to start learning things that are not appropriate to him he will not get rewarded for this he'll get punished for this and I've seen time and time again people don't want to listen and they suddenly have all types of problems in their life all types of issues in their life and they're like oh why ISM doing this to me I'm learning five hours a day yeah but you're learning things that you're not supposed to learn you're learning things because you don't want to listen to the rabbis you're learning things because you don't want to listen to anybody you became your own Rabbi you became your own M you're not learning t for the sake of hm you're learning t for the sake of you and that is egotistical T that is forsaken so the point is if a person is going to learn whether right church noahide or a Jew learn T from a rabbi then they could be rest assured that they're going to learn things that they need to be learned but if they see that their rabis is teaching them specifically things that are forbidden then that's not a rabbi that's a clown uh so that's uh or perhaps the rabbi forgot they're not Jewish uh so you have to uh you have to decide you have to know but the point is anyone that's watching my generally speaking I don't go into the details of Jewish too much uh to the point where it's forbidden for people to learn uh even if they're not Jewish but uh even if I do go into the details of something because more than 90% more than the majority of the you're thinking thoughts of asking for hem not just the words that you're saying but also thoughts for yourself Hashem give me good health give me money give me a good wife give me good kids give me a husband give me this give me all the things that we ask for hem from also include this person and all you knowm all also please give this person good health uh so they could serve you better give them uh whatever they need to be given have mercy on them and so on that's it simple just like you pray for yourself pray for them and the says anyone that prays for his friend his own prayers get answered first meaning if one of the best ways to get your own prayers to be answered first is by praying for somebody else uh because it shows that you care about somebody else Hashem cares about you even more as a result because that's one of the traits of hem so when you pray for other people Hashem answers your prayer first which is fantastic uh okay El we miss you does the have to work more for their wisdom as Einstein said they use about 20% of their brain or AEM also givs them all of it there are some guim that are extremely smart in different fields uh so I believe it says if the come to you and says we have wisdom we know math believe them we know architecture believe them we know history believe them uh we know different Sciences believe them medicine believe them no problem theim can be experts in many many things uh and they could be Geniuses in many many things and as we've seen throughout history there are many many guim uh that are pure Geniuses uh that have made major uh advancements to society I have met a few that are fantastic people that are very very smart people and are not Jewish no problem you don't have to be Jewish in order to be smart there are many many smart non-jews uh throughout all of history uh but the Contin says if a go comes to you and says I am a Torah scholar do not believe them why because gives the gift of scholarship in the Torah which is not something that's only based on the amount of books that you read and the uh the uh uh the amount of time you spent but also a gift from Heaven specifically of a Clarity of Mind of understanding what things certain things mean Torah scholarship is unique for the Jewish people doesn't mean that a non-jew cannot be knowledgeable about Torah sure there are many non-jews that are knowledgeable about Torah they're knowledgeable about character traits development they're knowledgeable about the stories of the Torah they're knowledgeable about things but to get to the point of scholarship where they could understand how to in understand the intricate details of the law and so on absolutely not that's a unique gift that hasem only gives am is only gives because has a unique that's fine tuned to receive that that's not something that's attainable by the non-jews even if they study their whole life if they want it they have to convert to Judaism because that requires the Fulfillment and the practice of the mitv as a Jew uh but so that's not necessarily brain capacity but rather more of a fine-tuning of the soul and more of a soul capacity not necessarily the brain capacity even though the soul technically uh part of it the big part of it is in the brain last question we'll take for the uh uh night um Michael uh is there any way to know where we stand with Hashem as far as uh if our efforts to improve are making us gain his favor uh yes or no uh yes or no the more a person Tunes his life uh with the will of hem uh meaning he knows he used to pray uh once a day now he prays opinion now that's only if he's judging himself in comparison to what Allah is meaning what his responsibility is and what the law is if he's simply comparing himself to himself only in his own opinion only that's not necessarily a good indication why because he say listen I didn't murder anybody this year that's not exactly a good sign why because just because you're comparing yourself to last year you weren't murdered five people and you didn't murder anybody yes this year not necessarily such a big upgrade because it was forbidden to murder anyway and anyway saying that you didn't murder anybody this year doesn't say so much because it's only a month into the Year you still have 11 more months to go so the point is that you have to compare yourself always to Al aside from that the uh there is a different gift uh there is different gifts that a gives a person from time to time that uh is more like a uh you know I'm watching you I like you good job sometimes those gifts are in dream format sometimes those gifts are in a mental capacity an opening of the mind sometimes those gifts are things that happen to you physically in your life different gifts that are clearly from Hashem like there is no doubt that that's from Hashem that's a special gift from hasem and that is very very unique it's not one size fits all not everybody gets it but the point is is that the people that get it usually make major sacrifices for the sake of the Torah and learning it and doing good things doing MIT and so on and they get special gifts and uh I've seen it a few times in different people and you see what a gift what a gift that's Fromm are you sure what do you mean where something like this can only come from has and maybe in a little while I'll tell you guys a story but not
