yomadin to judgment day mario time ladies and gentlemen listen very carefully tell us the rabbis tell us that when it comes to rosh hashanah we have to go to the mikvah before rosh hashanah to be pure we have to go and get freshly laundered iron shirts we have to go we have to set up a table and we have a meal and we have oh sima we have all these symbols symbolic foods in order to have a shana to vow me to god we wish each other have a happy healthy new year what's the mindset versus soda is one of positivity one of being happy and excited why because we believe we might say who's up god almighty's up what's going to be that we're going to have an amazing sweet new year we're going to have a very good year we're going to be sealed to a book is dependent over here and what do we do we have a positive out look why because we have the power of our minds we're able to tell ourselves that we're going to be successful we're going to be mad yes we know that in rosh hashanah there's two that is how we affect other people we want to change our children they're the little cups what do we have to do we have to work on ourselves first it reminds me of a famous story left he was once at a guy's the problem and it's my spouse and it's my neighbor and it's my teacher it's my rep it's this and that you blame the whole world at the end of the day you say the whole world is the issue but at the end of the day who's really the issue is really you this is something we'll have to work on to become better people to do more good to change the world and to make the world a better place we all for a coffee shop he's like wow he never really went out to look at the stores he sees a nail salon and a hair salon and he sees the laundromat and he sees a sushi joint he can't find a coffee shop but then he sees a big hot a big big hotel and he says you know i'm pretty sure they're going to have a coffee bar inside the hotel they got to have one of those and he walks into the hotel it's a beautiful hotel and he sees the coffee bar and he goes over to the individual behind the counter and he's crying please have a cup of coffee and they said sure and they're like that's going to be 50 and he's like what did i hear that right i asked for one cup of coffee not 50. they're like yeah one cup of coffee equals 50 dollars he's like whoa whoa forget about that i'm going back home i'm never well wait how much is the danish i want a danish over here a day to kind of a danish what for a danish and he's like i don't understand what are these prices inflation america okay this is going back a few years ago by the way but all seriousness guys he asked what's going on here what type of prices are these and they explained to him that listen it's not just a cup of coffee that you're getting it's not just the danish but it's the ambiance it's the chandeliers it's the sofas it's the serve it's the the waiters this is the high-class place he's like listen keep your high class your chandelier sofas to your subs give it to me to go how much is it they're like listen my friend same price he's like you said the reason it's so expensive is the chandelier i'm taking it to go they're like sir it is what it is he's like forget about it i'm out and he makes a u-turn and he's about to leave the hotel and lo and behold he sees a bunch of waiters on the corner drinking coffee and they have platters of coffee and eating danishes he's like i don't understand this doesn't make sense and he goes over to one of the individuals to the waiters he says could you please explain to me if you're such a wealthy guy that you're able to afford these coffees and danishes what are you a waiter for and if you're a waiter and you don't you know doesn't make sense for you to be able to afford such expensive things and listen very carefully what the waiter tells him and he tells him that listen we work for the boss and when we work for the boss we take care of his people we take care of those in the care of those that are in the hotel and when we take care of those that are in hotel we work for the boss he lets us eat and drink as much as we want whenever we want and where we serve celante explained beautifully and he says you want to have the best year ever you want this shana this year to be the best year in your life what do we have to do we have to work for the boss you have to work for the boss for barolo and frank dosberg who forgot almighty when you work for god he's going to give you everything free of charge health and happiness and goodness and friendships and whatever you want why not you work for him but what do you have to do you have to help his people you have to reach out to others you can't just be worried about myself shaolin obviously my life is they sit in the head tables the dais and he's like okay me whatever you say okay and he sits over there and the program starts and the individual starts saying how thankful we are how thankful i am to pray along to god almighty for being here today for being able to speak for being able to be alive and they're going on and on about how the miracle happened and everybody was prepared for the worst they already had his burial spot they already had the cemetery they already had the fuel that all the details were ready for the worst and what happens is he says that they said that they're going to give a final surgery one last surgery to give him my last chance for life and they do that last surgery and he's in the recovery room and the anesthesia is calming down a little bit and he says over that while he's a little bit starting to awaken he hears the doctors and the nurses talking to the side and one after the other all the doctors and all the nurses are saying what this guy has no chance this guy has no chance this guy has no chance it's over it's done finito done no more but one doctor one doctor i overheard him saying i believe that he not only has a chance but he's going to make it out of here on the condition that he eats normally he takes his medications and vitamins at the same time and has a positive outlook if he has a positive thinking if he has a positive mind if he does that then with god's up he's going to come out and who was his doctor was none other than dr sergey sitting over here and all of a sudden the audience goes in the standing of asia dr sergey and everyone's clapping and so thankful and they're singing and dr sergey is a little bit he's sitting over there like he's like is it okay i say a few words they say behold sure of course please we're now gonna let dr sergey say a few words he's the man that gave hope to our friend over here and they're singing oh and they're all excited in israel right and what happens is that dr sergey gets up and he says i'll tell everyone the truth i remember in the recovery room we're together with the doctors we're together we're discussing and everybody was saying there's no chance and i said that whatever i said yes but the truth is we weren't referring to this individual were talking about the guy next door to him i believe that this guy had no chance also nobody believed that he has a chance true story moreover this blessing is very powerful the lesson is the quran the power of our thoughts and that's what rosh hashanah is all about we have all this we have all these symbolic fruits and vegetables that we eat right do we remove our enemies that we should be filled with meats food like a rima like a pomegranate just for the record there's a beautiful costume to eat raisins and celery together you know why right because you should have a raisin salary but whatever works if it's a mindset why not do it eat it enjoy it but let's go into rosh hashanah with a positive outlook let's go into rosh hashanah inviting others that might not have known about this beautiful killer this beautiful congregation with an amazing rabbi let others know about the amazing shirin lectures and and classes that are going around let you know about torah anytime let you know if there's a family member friend neighbor send their kids in public schools mission of no child shall be left behind no jewish child should be left behind every jewish child deserves a jewish education will do everything from a to z from beginning to end will hold their hand throughout the process to make sure they can achieve a borrower close to thirteen hundred national souls that have already been saved and we could do much more let them know if they're not interested for whatever reason it's not gonna work in the jewish day schools that we have sunday schools in close to 20 locations one in mill basin where we are over here around over here let them know about these programs in bizarre like we said before
