Purim 2016 Message from Police Chief Rob Lawson

This is Chief Rob Lawson of the Lakewood Police Department. And firstly, I'd like to wish everybody a very happy and safe porum. On Era Porum, Wednesday, March 23rd, we'll be stationing light towers out along 14th Street at the intersection of Forest Avenue, Case Road, and Cedar Row. Portable speedboards will be situated on Sunset Avenue southbound and 14th Street westbound as well as a message board on Forest Avenue. The traffic patterns will be changed on Sixth Street, making it one way westbound from Private Way to Lakewood Avenue, as well as on Lawrence Avenue, making it one way southbound from East 11th Street to East 9th Street. For everybody going around collecting sodako or delivering mishlo manis to friends and teachers during the evening, please wear reflective belts so you are visible to motorists. Please enjoy the holidays, but do not attempt to drive the vehicle if you've been drinking any amount of alcohol. There is a zero tolerance on this because you'll be risking your life and the lives of others.
