My vision for Ben Slayer is to produce a girl that feels a strong connection to Hakadesh Baraku. Our goal is for the girls to be able to put in effort to try to achieve their potential and maximize their potential and then understand that not everything is in their [Music] control. The Sora that we have is to give every child the ability to bring out their unique talents in a Torah way. When you find a child who excels at math, for example, and you want to be able to foster or to grow that that within them, that's what we do. But with a Torah, with a Torah background, our daughters are so excited to go to school every morning. Missing school to them is probably the worst thing that could happen. A couple weeks ago, one of my daughters was sick. We took her to the doctor and the first thing she said was, "Am I going to be too sick to go to school? I can't miss school." We asked her, "What's going on? What's what what's so special? Why? Why can't you school today? Is there I don't know, a CM, a party. No, I just came to school. I I I have to be in school. It's uncommon to find a school where the kids are so happy and so excited to go to school. And it's not just her. It's her. It's all her friends. It's the whole experience that we've had being parents in Slayo. The Slayer Pro Park of Muny is unique because we embrace the power of being small. No child gets lost. I actually review every child in the school once a month to see where they're holding academically and social emotionally. So the emphasis on really understanding and connecting to every single child is not just something that we say but we have formal programs for implementation. I think the school puts a lot of value on achieving excellence but at the same time with the undercurrent of warmth, positivity and growth. I think the school's goals and curriculum is very aligned to what we were looking for and are looking for both in terms of keshal but again more so than that or equal to that is the character growth you know the growth on on the midos but also your your personal development as a confident child and I see I think our daughters are are getting that as well [Music] eposa Prospect Park Preschool learning is all about exploration, discovery, and building social emotional skills. Our classrooms are infused with the warmth of Torah with learning that flows seamlessly from morning to afternoon. Mrs. Gelb, our preschool director, has done a stellar job of really bringing into school the best practices of preschool. She's in touch with preschool directors from all across the country. Even though she has decades of experience, she's constantly learning and growing herself. It is very gratifying to see our preschool growing organically. We have, of course, infusions of new students as well, but so much of the preschool is comprised of siblings in our current elementary school, and we're so proud of the fact that we have these families that are continuing with us. For the optimal learning, the children need to be secure. They need to feel that they are loved. They need to feel warmth and caring from the office staff to the teachers to the principal. You you just feel the love that they have for the children and the children are the number one priority. What I see as the school's greatest strength, the amazing teachers that the school has that they really really love and care about each girl. They're so warm and loving and my girls are obsessed with their teachers and they respect them. They basically idolize them which is so nice and so amazing because they're really really people that my girl should be looking up to. Every single teacher that we've encountered in Menosa has really gone the extra mile. Whether it's reaching out if our daughter is not maybe reaching her full potential. We had a teacher this year where she felt students in the class were not catching on to a certain concept and the teacher and the principal went and adopted a whole new curriculum for the class that they had never used before and they became trained in it. That way they could help the entire class reach the milestone that they were aiming towards. So everything is really geared um individually and as a class um to really help them reach their potential. The teachers have strong relationships with the children and also with the parent body. We really embrace the idea of partnership with parents. Building that partnership is critical to really allowing the child to achieve success. There's such like a sense of aas like everybody's just happy to be there. You know, you walk down the halls and you walk into the office and everybody's smiling and laughing and joking with each other. They're all friends with the school staff, with the parents. You know, I walk in and I get greeted by so many different people. It's such a nice, happy, warm place that even I as a mother feel it going into. I could just imagine what my girls feel when they come into school. What What were we able to do uniquely was blend the warmth that is needed in this day and age for children to grow and to flourish with the academic excellence that we're known for in Brooklyn as well. Making a child feel seen is tremendously important to them to their success. And when they feel that, it leads to tremendous things. [Music]
