PREPARING FOR THE JUDGEMENT

[Music] oh [Music] glad to be back in the uh States see you guys learn with you guys a little bit let let you know a little bit about what happened over the last month and a half or so Ines and uh to try to see how we could uh prepare for y the um lecture tonight is called the uh you know about it's all about judgment and uh the truth is that you know we have every year and people uh go through they uh sing the songs with they get an idea is it working it's working you can see uh they uh sing the some people think it's a song Some People realize it's a prayer the question is how do we get into r with the right mindset but not just going to be change our R sh but also change our lives and even more so how do we make sure that this is not just a onetime thing where you get influenced one time you do a few good things but then you go back to the way you were before so one thing I can tell you about the trip ter Israel is aside from the land itself M the Dust In the Land itself is Holy um it's uh unbelievable place and I'm not talking about I didn't go sightseeing I didn't go to see any type of uh uh special things I saw the cotel uh we went to the zoo aside from that my sightseeing was sing speak that was my sightseeing go see real Torah Scholars at our you know a couple of them that uh speak to some learn with them and uh that was really the most extraordinary sightseeing that I could ever uh imagine and the reason why is because you realize how different the world is uh in that place versus where you're from now when you see these people they look like regular people and uh some of them look like the people that you see here in America and in other countries you know the the uh the suits the hats but when you speak to them all the difference in the world is made what they're thinking about how they live their life and one of the greatest things that you can do is simply watch to talk and try to understand what's happening there because it's m a sight to behold now one of the things that you'll notice with a lot of not just today but throughout all of the generation many of them struggle struggle financially this has a lot to do with what happened the mid says discusses it uh about what happened with asav his Mal who fought yobu and he despite the fact that yov won he uh he heard him and uh that was actually say talks about it where how this is how there's going to be but they'll struggle they'll struggle financially now of course there's always exceptions RI R AKA and uh many others were very very wealthy but uh for the most part you see many struggle financially but you don't see them stop their learning or change their learning or complain about it all day you see them learn on the other hand when you go into the world the Western World whether a person is sitting in Yeshiva or a person is in a or a person is a balab works but learns a little bit or is about chva or a convert one thing that I've noticed and I have a lot of experience with people in the western world uh people in business people in religion and so on one of the things that you'll notice about people is that the most common topic of conversation is money either the aspiration to acquire money or the struggle because of money and all of the difficulties that they're dealing with because of whatever money did to them whether good or bad money is a constant topic of conversation how much money does he have how much money did he made how much did that cost how much this and how much that and interestingly enough when you go and you speak to real it's it's not really the same to say the least they don't talk like that they don't speak about money that way and uh quite frankly it's they don't view it the same way now of course you could say it's all because of the Torah but yeah there's Tor there's Tor you go to a Yesa you speak to a couple of you ask them what do you do all day they'll tell you they're learning to you go to a tell them what do you guys do all day tell you they learning toah what are we doing learn to you go uh on online all the Facebook Warriors you know that keep posting different uh things that they think is good you ask them what do you do all day says I'm learning to I'm sharing I'm doing K I'm sharing lectures I'm learning to I listen to five lectures a day I'm learning toah at the same token you say okay so everybody's learning T but how come there's such a difference between his Tor and your Tor how come the second you're missing $50 $500 $5,000 whatever that amount is all of a sudden your mind cannot think straight you can't look at your wife in the face your kids are annoying to you automatically everything is upside down the second there's money struggles divorce is on the line you want to quit you want to get hired you thinking about suicide drugs are you know becoming interesting to you everything in the World Turns Upside Down the second money is a topic but then when you go to is and you meet your next door neighbor and they say listen if you have any extra toys that your kids are not playing with we more than happy to accept them and they look they look to you like they're the richest people in the world you don't see poor people with ripped clothes and somebody begging for change no you see regular people but they're struggling they don't have money to buy toys for their kids or you see another person there listen you know if there's anything extra that somebody can do you know we we'd be happy to accept it because we still haven't been able to find a way to buy food for Shabbat so their struggle is much more difficult than most people most people today they complain about the fact that they're not eating meat every single day you know you only eat meat once a day for seven days a week he didn't eat twice a day in it's very different if they eat meat once a week it's already a big deal so you see that the money issue is everywhere but they treat it differently they treat it differently one of the most common things that happens at this time of the year is people donate money people donate money for religious purposes for they buy alot if you're sapharic you buy alot you compete with the rest of the members in a betet who can outbid who who can buy who which Aliyah did you get did you get the one that has to do with parasa is it in the morning are you actually going to show up for the morning or you just going to end up buying it and giving it to somebody else all types of interesting things and then a bunch of guys you know sometimes they don't want to spend the money themselves so they team up to buy one alas you see like 18 people to buy a single Aliah is if that you know that actually counts all types of interesting things happen in a besset and that's in the Safari World in ashkanazi world it's very different they actually appreciate their way much better everything is done behind the scenes the guy just simply shows up because he already took care of it before he came to the BET before the holiday even came everybody did the donations behind the scenes whether it was a competition or not is irrelevant the point is is that their way is different and you see that people donate to theet to the ISA of course there's a lot of different causes the question is why does everybody donate money especially at this time of the year of course people donate throughout all the whole year but you see that this is an auspicious time for donations and many people take advantage of it and they donate even if they don't even keep Shabbat even if they don't go to besset the whole year you'll find them in the besset on the holidays and many times the less religious they are the more they donate now of course it's a problem to give an Aliyah to the Tora to somebody that doesn't keep Shabbat but the there's not that many rabbis that are willing to uh say no you have to have a lot of in order to know that the dollar will come with or without the but either way the the key is to understand that money is an issue at this time of the year more than others and instead of money being an issue it really should be the N should be an issue person should be looking at themselves in a mirror and ask themselves why am I this way why am I not better than than what I am if he's one of like one of these people that I met one time that after he had a medical issue I asked him uh you I told him you'll be fine you know take care of yourself and he looks at me funny goes no I'm fine it's you guys said what do you mean you guys says I I got sick because of you guys he became a little Jesus even though he was Jewish rabbi thought that he got sick because of the KA so if you're that kind of a person then perhaps there's a different sh for you maybe in a mental institution but if you're a normal person and you realize that there's more to work on you can work on your anger on your stinginess on your arrogance on your whatever it is everybody's got their own flaws their own good their own bad anyone thinks that they're complete is usually much less complete than they could even imagine but the point being is is that a person is supposed to worry about their where do I stand am I actually observing all of the said do I even know all of them can anyone here raise their hand and say I can name 613 mitv most people can't can you even name the mitv that you're obligated to do every day forget about 63 mitvah because most of them are not relevant to most people but can you actually name the mitv that are relevant to you personally every single day sometimes I ask people what do you do after you leave the bathroom say oh I wash my hands I said and then what oh no you know I go back to work about oh yeah yeah that too so it's sometimes people you know if you don't put a something a reminder for them they forget and when you come to the you don't want to forget you because during that time you're asking fora if you're lonely you're asking for a z if you're married but unhappy then you're asking for a divorce if you're uh if you don't have uh something you want it you want AEM to help you some people ask to take away things from them some people ask to give them things everybody asks for stuff and sometimes people think that if I bribe AEM and I donate to the synagogue I donate to the Yeshiva I donate to the kiru organization then perhaps that's going to be the reason of why I get it because I donate and sometimes they're sadly disappointed because they donated and it didn't happen in fact they got sicker or they uh lost their job and all types of other things so the question is why do all of these different things happen these are some of the things we're going to try to discuss in our preparation for Judgment Day because again when you see how people prepare for Judgment Day in and I'm not talking about all of is because surely There Are Places over there that we had to go to T Aviv one time and have to do a tun just from being on that land because of what's happening over there m people walking around naked I couldn't believe it I didn't actually think that it was that bad until I saw it and it was really much a a a something that tragic because you see these are your brothers and sisters but they have no concept that there's a God in there's a God that's watching the country there's a God that's watching the people there's a reason why they're even in the world of course you're always going to find religious people everywhere in Tel Aviv and yam in other places you're going to find also secular people everywhere you're going to find secular people in B and and everywhere but I'm not talking about the the the exception or I'm talking about just the mentality the environment the air you see that there's an extraordinary amount of Kusa in some places and an extraordinary amount of Tuma in other places and really the only difference between the two is the amount of Torah that's being taught and the amount of Torah that's being learned in the place that's the only difference between the two now the same concept goes with here in America or if you're watching in Australia or England or any other country in the world the difference between your community and a that has a lot of Kusa in it is simply the amount of Torah that's there there are some people that tell me listen this is the best year of my life I have you know good K I have a good this and a good that but that's usually a few far in between usually most people come to me with complaints one person told me that they uh their Kaa decided to have an event what's the event they invited a Muslim IM to speak to the Jewish people of the community a Muslim IM there's no more rabbis in the world they had to go find a Muslim IM to go speak to some terrorist is going to come both spiritually and physically he's going to speak to the Jewish community in theet other people they're bringing priests like Goldberg over there they're they've taught the rest of the world that you're allowed to bring priests and pastors and all types of missionaries to synagogues that's that has already become some of of a standard when people didn't want to fight for it now you see it happening in many but it other people are bringing homosexuals to to explain to people how you could be yourself even though you're not yourself and you could be a guy even though you really were born a girl and all types of stupid things like the stuff that's happening in New York people showed me this video of some uh some guy that's teaching but he looks like a girl and they fired him and they hired him and all types of I I just don't understand how did you hire this thing who hired this person you know R Charles a blind person who who hired this person how did you not know this is a guy but again the question is what happened before in that Yesa that allowed the Gates of Heaven to just say you know what let them inherit this to into Yesa what happened in that Yeshiva because in sham there's a bed and the bed of shamim has to decide allowed not allowed go no go am I going to allow this place to get hurt am I going to allow this place to be protected one thing or the other what happened there before this thing happened before this public embarrassment happened what happened I can tell you what happened the little bit that I know it's a place that shouldn't even exist according to Al they call themselves a Yesa but boys and girls and all types of immodesty and immorality runs a rampant over there so a place that not only allows but even promotes all the things that are against the Torah but yet calls themselves Yeshiva similar to Yeshiva University that even the court of theim declare them as a non-religious organization what did you expect or when you have the the the new king of England telling the head Rabbi of England listen you have to go home it's Shabbat soon the has to REM has to remind the rabbi Shabbat he go no no don't worry about it I'll wait with everybody else he's not worried about Shabbat he's not worried about the King of Kings he's worried about the king of a few days before the guy goes to like like his sh where he's going there's two there the good one and the bad one anyway it's important for us to know that self accounting is something that every single person has to do every single institution has to do because that's the primary part of the job of what we're supposed to do at this time of the year the gave an analogy and he said that life is like a deer that's running into the forest now deers if you ever saw one we went to the zoo in they have a beautiful zoo over there it's huge you need like a half a day or a day to actually see the whole thing or simply for the place to be empty but it's a huge place and they in essence are trying to portray all the different animals that were in Noah Noah's Ark of course it's not all of them but nonetheless it's a beautiful place very big very realistic and when you see there's different types of deer and they have these huge horns and some of them they make sounds they sound like tigers but it's really a deer now if a Tiger shows up that deer is not going to look like it's not going to sound like a tiger anymore he's going to sound more like a mouse he's going to run into the woods him and his big beautiful horns and what is number one job run into the woods as fast as possible now there's a problem the bigger the horns the more the obstacle why cuz the horns can get caught up into some tree or a branch or some Bush so while they were beautiful while he was trying to find a new wife now when he's running away from a tiger or he's running away from a lion or he's running away from something else it's not so uh important to have these horns in fact if he could just completely take them off throw them in the garbage it would be better for him why cuz then he could just fly through the woods no one can ever catch him so really what ends up happening this beautiful horns end up being almost like an impediment something that's like holding him back but they're beautiful yeah but now my life is on the line the Sab says life is just like this a person is like a deer and his character traits the bad ones are like the horns they look beautiful looks beautiful like he's a macho guy he's an arrogant guy he even won a president election in some uh country or some place or some school and he has all these different attributes that some people are demy even though they should frown upon them and the reality is that when a push comes to shove and he's going to have to be judged in a bed of sham whether it's going to be at the time he dies or at the time of mashia or it's going to be at the time of where he's pleading for please give me the doctor just called and they said they found something in my hip please Hashem make it nothing make it nothing or when he asked please they just fired me from the job I was making $300,000 a year I lived a life of $400,000 a year now I don't even have the $300,000 a year and I don't even know what to tell my wife because she already lives like it's $800,000 a year Hashem give me some other type of job even though it's a recession even though it's a possible depression please help me and he's pleading with and pleading with please help me here please help me there and the says what about those horns what about those bad mid when asked you to be generous but you decided to be stingy when asked you to quiet that tiger inside you stop pretending like you're a tiger you're really a deer but you decide to pretend like you're a tiger when you yell to your wife and your kids and your co-workers and your customers and your competition and some guy in traffic that you don't even know and you simply decided that you want to call him all types of names and even remind him of his mother and his grandmother what about those character traits that you have those beautiful horns that you thought they were beautiful what about those things during the day of judgment that's when it matters it may not matter on a day-to- day for an average person an average person especially if they are already used to a certain way of life whether it be success or otherwise they get accustomed to their Char character traits they you know they're just angry that's the way I am stingy that's the way I am uh arrogant that's the way I am doesn't have any patience that's the way I am they get accustomed to it when do they realize it was a mistake to get accustomed to it when do they realize it was a mistake to lose inm to to have no faith in hem when push comes to shove and they're being judged how do they know they're being judged because times are rough right now the world is transforming the financial situation in the world is very very shaky a lot of people have lost some money over the last year or so but if this is the end that this is the be not even the beginning if this is the end then this recession that started in the decline of certain things by 20 or so percent is not even the beginning it's going to get much much worse I don't know if this is the end or not all I do know is that people some people feel like it's the end why because their Bitcoin dropped 80% or because some other stupid investment that they made you know people realized it was stupid like they were the last guy holding the bag that was full of nothing and they're they're upset that no one wants to buite it from them so the reality is is that the world is transforming there are over 27 countries countries we're not even talking about companies 27 countries that are on the verge of bankruptcy they're going to default within the next 12 months or less countries are not going to have to pay their bills the crisis in Ukraine and Russia is much bigger than you can possibly imagine why because at any given moment it can turn into a World War if Russia does something or America does something or China does something or anybody else does something could simply decide to press the button and it becomes a nuclear war it's not just some average war between the uh the the Shiites and the and the uh and and their uh brothers that they hate the sunn it's not like the the war between Korea South Korea and North Korea no this is much much bigger who's putting everything on the line the financial are on the line some people are still making money some people are losing money but overall everybody still has you know food to eat but you see that there's literally a crisis around the corner and no one has a clue what to do with it some people say no it's going to be okay some people no it's not going to be okay I just don't know when it's not going to be okay there are certain currencies that have been devalued to such an extent that people that were multi-billionaires literally have $10 left they had so much money they didn't know what to do with it but the currency dropped in value to such an extent it became worse than toilet paper there are countries out there where they literally have taken the currency taken the bills and have throwing them in the garbage there's nothing you can do with it it's not even worth the paper that it's on but these are countries that have a messed huge amount of wealth in the past but decided that time has ended for them so when a person does some self- accounting and he looks at the world around him and then he also realizes okay so financially not so secure and then he also realize wait a minute there's a guy in a Kila where is he and he finds out the guy died when did he did he die oh he died last month he died last week he died yesterday he died six months ago how did he die Corona aneurism cancer there's no shortage of reasons for death thear says there's over 900 ways to die and unfortunately one of the downsides of being in this uh in this field of dealing with the public is that you get to know a lot of people and unfortunately you get to know a lot of people that die one of our very very dear friends and partner she was an extraordinary woman did a lot of literally her whole life was just we lost her in the last month she had cancer six years ago no one knew and uh it went put it on break so we could do some more together feed tens of thousands of people together she would literally distribute it to all parts of the country do all types of things amazing things you know and it came back it came back just a few months ago within a matter of a few weeks she was gone all we could do in the interim is pray send some stuff to the house beds wheelchairs all types of things to make the pain you know a little a little easier make it less less painful no one actually thought you was going to die I figured you know okay this is a temporary shakeup why because she was so enthusiastic that she was already talking about oh yeah we're going to do a huge you know food distribution for my and she was already getting ready she's in bed dying no but she's already getting ready that she's going to distribute more food to the community and then she's gone and if that's not enough there's unfortunately other people that we know that have passed away some from cancer some from other reasons so the more a person looks around and sees the world around him sees the world around her they realize okay so even life is not promised to us no one is guaranteed even tomorrow I can tell you personally that there are many times where I think I'm going to die not because I think of any other reason other than the fact that just a simple reality simple reality of how you feel a simple reality of certain circumstances that are happening in your life and the only thing you can think of during that time is not how much money you have in the bank and not did I call my best friend oh did I have enough fun in my life the only thing you can think if you have a brain in your mind is what am I going to tell my maker when I see him what do I have to offer what am I going to say what what could I possibly say that I did in this world he gave me an x amount of years what can I what did I bring home what did I bring home this is one of the most important thoughts that a person needs to have why Judgment Day is literally a week away less and during says the entire world goes in a row single file Row in front of a in front of a who like sheep you know when they the the guys that are transferring tens of thousands of sheep from one place to another in the beginning you see it's huge amounts looks like uh pce of land is moving but then when they want to H them and put them into a ranch into a place what do they do single files tiny little door one in at a time one in at a time the says on has every single creature Jew or G Gentile come in front of him and he has to judge is this person going to live for another year or not is this person going to have money or not is he going to profit or lose get married get divorced have kids lose kids be healthy get sick all of those things are going to be decided literally in a matter of a few days and the more a person realizes what's on the line the more they understand maybe I do need to look in the mirror a little more often and start preparing myself to what have I achieved in my life so a woman can say well I had kids good for you you had kids but is it good for the world that you had kids if you brought four Hitlers into the world it was better off you didn't bring anybody but if your kids know a little bit of Tor they know you have they have a fear of the almighty they're good to people they're nice to people they're kind they're they're not a disaster a tragedy a hazard to society then yeah you had kids but if your kids are simply causing harm to the world around them it was better off you didn't bring those kids and guess what the difference between Hitler and a sadik is how much T he's going to learn why because that t is the only tool that's going to make him into what he is going to be if he has the tat he can be a sadik if he doesn't have a Torah there's no doubt that he will be a rash why there is no way to be a righteous person without having the manual from a now you can say yeah but other religions have a manual sure let's see what their people did over the years you have the manual of the Christians that have murdered more people than all of society put together over the last 100 years in the name of their religion in the name of their false god when you have the Muslims they say yeah we teach ethics yes you teach ethics but unfortunately you're not ethnical yourself and your leaders are not ethnical because they're Mass murderers today the past the pro the and the future there's a reason there's a prophecy where says he's going to punish these people he's not going to punish the righteous nodes he's not going to punish the righteous Jews but he will punish the wicked people whether they're Jews or Gentiles the difference between Wicked and not who listen to the Torah if you created your own man certainly you're not listening to you're contradicting the so a person that looks into where they stand and say wait a minute I'm not promised tomorrow at all live or die but most people don't really like to think about things like this it's very morbid people get depressed about it they don't want to think about dying they don't want to think about getting sick yeah but your brother is sick your cousin is sick your uncle is sick somebody you know is sick yeah yeah but let's not talk about it oh so we pretend he's healthy there's a reason why the at the end of the says the greatest of doctors goes to what all the doctors in the room getting scared what do you mean the best doctor goes to G yeah that's what the says why would the best doctor go to Gom is that the best doctor that he has a special skill and he's the best spinal surgeon no no no the best doctor where he thinks he has more Mercy than God he has a patience in front of him and he knows the patient is sick he checked he looks at the test the guy's terminal cancer the guy's Corona virus the guy has Pikachu whatever he has he has something and he knows the guy's in bad shape but you know the guy is Happy why he just got married he's young he's healthy he feels healthy he's telling them about the vacation he's going with his new wife they're going to go bike riding and mountain climbing and all types of things and going to go on vacation for 6 months cuz I made a bunch of money on Wall Street and da da da and he's excited about it and the doctor knows he's not going to live six weeks what six months but what I'm going to tell him the do think I'm going to tell him that I'm going to ruin his no I don't want to if I tell him he's say why you so scary doctor why you being so scary why you being so negative so you know what I tell him oh I checked everything's good enjoy your vacation the said say that doctor he goes to G home why why don't you tell the patient the truth yeah but then I'll make him upset it's better he's upset and knows the truth and he can prepare for it than live a lie the ra says the that speak to the public and tell them the truth despite how much it hurts they are the spiritual doctors those doctors are what we need in the world but unfortunately as times get more and more difficult the addictions to money and otherwise get greater and greater and the truth is more and more lost so those doctors are very few and far in between very hard to find them so a person has to do what a lot of people in the medical world what are most people do when they feel a little itch a little pain a little headache some bump whatever the first thing that 90% of society at least in America first thing they do Dr Google self diagnose WebMD Google whatever you go on whatever whatever your preference is I have a pain in my left side and then there's other applications okay what color hair do you have what color eyes do you what did you do last week and they ask you a bunch of questions so then you think oh since I can ask all these questions probably what the doctor's doing you start self diagnosing oh yeah I happened to have a one big toe and I happen to have one black eye and I happen to have this by the time you say oh that it's just a toothache yeah but my foot hurts because of a toothache he's not the show but somehow he's like oh you know what I'm fine he self diagnosed himself he feels fine I don't need to go to the doctor now when it comes to Medicine I wouldn't necessarily recommend this self diagnosing but when it comes to spirituality you don't really have another choice you have to self diagnose you have to self diagnose and check to see where you you stand there's an instruction set that it's called the Torah and the Torah tells you that you're obligated to do certain things there are certain things that are obvious and there are certain things that perhaps are not so obvious you have to learn them you have to know what it says not just the stories but also the Commandments the obligations theim spent everything they possibly could all of their energy their resources to try to identify who they really are and where they stand during this time of the Year many of them took more and more on themselves because they wanted to perfect themselves because they knew that the day will come and they're going to have to meet their maker and they have to report what have we done now the gar talks about a lot of different things one of the things that the garah brings is what do you do during Desperate Times Desperate times person has Financial issues person has a health issues all types of issues now we know that there's a famous midash mid Zuta in a uh of quet in the fifth par 6 and this mid says the very famous thing that probably every single one of you have heard at some point that prayer chuva repentance and staka charity make the evil decree pass so the first question we have to ask ourselves this is good it's good we know that if you do chuva if you give Stu to the right place not to some church or place that looks like a synagogue but is really a church if you pray you do chv you give that could make whatever difficulty you have in your life pass difficulty in pregnancy difficulty in raising kids difficult financially difficult healthwise whatever difficulty you have these are three secrets that kazal gave us that can make the evil decree pass great but then we have to ask ourselves why does it say that the evil decree will pass why doesn't it say it ends it there an evil decree just lost half of his money just got sick wife wants to divorce him husband found a new girlfriend whatever happened horrible things if I do these few things why doesn't it make that evil decree just end why does it say pass so some say because if a person really does these three things the right way Hashem gives him a double reward what's the double reward he makes the evil decree go from him to his enemies so he gets the extra benefit of seeing his enemy suffer but then we thought about a different hos is walking in the streets with his few of his students and all of a sudden there's a huge cobra snake something enormous something like out of the movies not that you guys ever watched any movies but one of these huge snakes passes by this next almost have a heart attack this thing might as well be in anakanda huge sees the snake pass them and calls the snake stop you Pastor she stop stop snake listens stops turns around of is says where you going the snake says I'm going to kill such such person from there we learn that either the snake spoke like the original serpent or that since was one of the great they knew 70 languages which included the language of the life at some point or another a make sure that whatever evil a person did in his life that's against the Torah has to be exposed to society so it looks like they're winning in the beginning cuz they have the fast cars and the house and the fame and whatever comes with evil but push comes to shove the bill has to get paid the decree is passed the Cobra comes he has to kill somebody and although a person never thinks it's them because last time it wasn't them it wasn't because it wasn't you weren't guilty it just wasn't your turn so a smart person sees life sees what will be born out of it these actions what is he doing what will come out of it right now he's cheating in business what's will come out of it oh no I'm going to stop cheating I'm going to stop selling uh Coke or whatever uh fenol or all types of other filth and poison that people are selling to society today I was going to make some money and then I'm going to go into a legit business you think is going to let that are not in their control they're not in their it's not in your control if you're going to have enough money to buy this house that you want to buy it's not in your control to have this company who knows if your company's still going to be in business by then who knows if it's not going to be obsolete who knows if the government doesn't shut it down who knows if the building doesn't fall apart and get burned who knows all these things you don't know that stuff so to make all of these aspirations these checklist goal list all types of you know fantasy list of all the stuff that you want to have in the future it's like people that plan about what they're going to do with the winnings of theato before they bought a ticket it's the stupidest Endeavor in the world you don't even have the ticket and you're already thinking about how you going to spend the winning lotto numbers like it's the dumbest thing in the world it doesn't make any sense whatsoever at least have the ticket in your hand then you can say oh if I win then I'm going to buy this I'm buy that I'm going to give this I'm going to give that and all that doesn't pan out because you're don't going to win but anyway even if you do you're not going to do what you say you're going to do because you forgot it either way to make these lists of all the stuff that you want the building the house the car the money the the wife the kids all that stuff it's not in your hands anyway so the plan for it is stupid it's simply a waste of time on the other hand if you spend your time doing something like what's in your hands what's in your hands which is how you're going to live your life then that's something that's worthwhile why it's in your hands to decide what time to wake up in the morning that's in your hands you can decide to wake up early or be a loser and wake up at 12 you can decide you can decide whether you're going to be loyal to your husband or wife or not to be loyal that you can decide if you look at everything that walks like some type of uh water Fountain then surely your marriage will go into the garbage it's just a matter of time if you watch television you watch pornography you watch all types of shows that show immodesty and prostitution you will become part of that so your marriage and your life is going to go to the garbage but if you protect your eyes protect your body you don't go to certain places like people go then you are deciding to do that one woman told me listen how do I convince my boyfriend not to go to clubs anymore do you know what the answer is leave him that's how you convince him because he's not a boyfriend he's a rent a car today you're renting him tomorrow someone else is renting him if he goes to clubs for any reason he has multiple wives he just calls them girlfriends no one goes to clubs because of the music no one goes to clubs because they like to see their friends they're looking for someone to have fun with if you think he's loyal to you and he still goes to these clubs you need help so if you want to have a husband your husband cannot go to these clubs your husband cannot go to these uh you know card games and all types of things now if you want to be that husband that's in your control that's in your control you can decide to go or not to go to these places to play or not to play you could decide that's in your hands that's in your hands same concept with someone that finds themselves being angry or stingy or arrogant or or impatient or uh overly nervous or overly anxious and all types of things those things are within your control so you can decide to work on those things and say from now on I'm going to wake up at early hours why because I know that if I wake up early I achieve more during that day I now from now on I'm going to go to sleep early why because I know that from you know anytime I go to sleep late I wake up uh late and I end up having a not such a good day uh I'm going to be more generous but I know that just saying I'm going to be more generous is not going to be enough I have to be proactive about how every time I get a check automatically I take x amount of percentage out of that check and I give it away right away I'm not going to wait for the end of the month or the end of the year or for the end of the uh uh holiday I'm going to give it right away why because that's again being proactive about something same concept with a person when it comes to their business how you conduct your business to be nice to be honest that's your choice to be profitable is not your choice so if you're going to make a list make a list of things that are within your ability to control it's within your ability to control your mood it's within your ability to control your desires it's within your ability to control how you express yourself those things are within your control now if a person spends their time making a list of things they want to work on not just say I want to be a better husband good for you how how are you going to be a better husband well how can I be well what does she complain about usually the way to be a better husband is match it with what she complains about she complains that you are not clean become more neat she complains that you're lazy stop being lazy she complains you don't uh do this you don't do that fix it fix it usually if there's enough love become accustomed to cheat their customers I don't know why and how this happened but apparently it's become a norm that to cheat customers is what you're supposed to do promise them things that you it's not even the best in the store and you know it but you want to make the sale cuz it'll pay you the most amount of commission so lying is something you have to work on stop lying yeah but if I don't lie then I won't make any sales who said whether you make a sale or don't make a sale that's in the hands of God but whether you lie or not that's in your hands that's in your hands so make the list of things that you can control make the list of the things you can control you control your attitude you control your desires you control the way you do things you control how you manage your time those things are within your control once you do that you'll see a lot better results and the things that you cannot control I know one person that just a few years ago literally did not have a single penny a single penny barely breaking even for for the month barely even having for the month I think you have to borrow money whatever it is in the last several years he made some money and because you $10 you give five yeah but what can you possibly do with $5 nothing you can't do anything with $5 in America nothing I think gum is more expensive than $5 but that's not what counts in God's eyes that's 50% of what you have that's a big deal in practicality it's worth nothing you can't even help a homeless person get a house at $5 can't do nothing with $5 in a Jewish World you can't even feed them if they're go you could buy them a know value meal or something for like a dollar get one of these living pigs in a sandwich and for a dollar but a Jew what can you buy $5 nothing I think bomba is like $3 now like what are you going to do it five nothing but's eyes it's a big deal it's a ve very big deal why you gave half of you so this person in the last several years made certain things work gives a lot of money and I don't mean a lot of money oh he donates uh I don't know $50,000 $1,000 he gave like2 $3 million in the last couple years not to me to other things Fortune how decided to make this person and this is also coming along with learning T doing working on himself and so on and so forth so it's important for a person to know that when you do what you're supposed to do in accordance to what said with the things that are in your control you no longer need to make a to-do list a wish list uh whatever other list they have bucket list you don't need to make those lists why will give you exactly what you need and more give him a reason else usually I say no and then I'm about to go and then you guys say yeah yeah one last ones want to give you guys a little more time now good do you guys notice that only now the babies are quiet that's good at least give some action okay all right thank you again for for coming thank you again for the book read it by the way don't just put it in the library books and libraries don't help anybody Shalom everybody we're back here in the United States after six extraordinary weeks in l the Holy Land we saw extraordinary things there the beauty of the cotel the beauty of the land itself and of course the extraordinary beauty of theim a huge event where several thousand people showed up to honor the to alongside us and also here the wisdom of was what we started the uh trip with but along the next several weeks we got to meet many other spoke in many different places but nesset and we got to see some of the most extraordinary things I've ever seen in my life but one of the things that we did see that is not as exactly uh as exciting is the spiritual poverty that's in is in certain places places like Tel Aviv places that people are walking the streets without having a concept of what modesty is without having a concept of who the god of Israel is without even having a concept that the fact that they're stepping on Holy Ground these are our holy brothers and sisters that we've dedicated our life to help to get them closer to a and one of the things that we're doing in the United States in Australia in Canada in England and many other places around the world we've succeeded in doing it but one of the other things that we did see is also that there's a material poverty a material poverty is simply so abundant so so extraordinary that it breaks your heart we're sitting in our house when the next door neighbor uh that you know decided to pass by to say hello and while they were saying hello they asked us if we have any extra toys because they simply couldn't afford to buy their kids any toys of course my kids gave them their toys and we got to fulfill the mitvah but there are thousands upon thousands of these types of families families of families ofik that simply have poverty as a standard way of living these are the types of families that we've dedicated Our Lives to help as well over the last few years we've helped tens of thousands of people to feed them during the holidays to get them toys to get them clothes to get them beds to get them whatever we possibly can during this trip we also lost a very dear friend one of our partners in the distribution very dear friend of ours G ital that really dedicated her life to helping am is we're going to miss her but as a dedication to her as a dedication for cl and as another way to honor our we're continuing to do our food distribution as well as our spiritual distribution we need your help this time of the year is Yip sukot the high holidays these are the times where most people donate the most most of their money during this time of the year because they need the righteous judgment they need the good judgment they need to be blessed with a new child with financial success with a health Miracle with all types of issues and people know that the blessings of the MIM people that have
