we're all looking forward to tomorrow night's the holiday of Shiva which commemorates the time when the Almighty offered the Torah to the Jewish people and the Jewish people responded not a sevenish man we wanted we're going to live with it now it's fascinating that we have a custom that we actually eat cheesecake on shores and he gotta ask what in the world has cheesecake got to do with the giving of the Torah I mean maybe it's because we chose so now we cheese there's some kind of play on words I don't think so perhaps an explanation is as follows that just like a mother provides its child its baby with all its nourishment through the vehicle of the milk that she supplies to her baby down one nutrient is everything that the baby needs for its physical well-being and I mean that but it's delicious and that baby can just depend on its mother no worries because it knows it's gonna get its d'être next drop of milk without without doubt from their caring and mother who loves that child unconditionally so too we have to appreciate that the Torah is like milk in its one nutrient it's not physical but it's spiritual it's that spiritual nutrient that we need that supplies us with everything that we need and it comes from the infinite being that loves us like I'm like a mother like a parent right who's just there for us and not only there it's delicious when we realize that that's the case then we're ready to be except the Torah into our lives so when you have that cheesecake and you say wow this delicious realize it's supposed to represent that the Torah itself is delicious it comes from that infinite being that loves us it's only for our good it's got everything we need enjoy it enjoy the cheesecake and bring a little more terror into your life because it's delicious have a wonderful yet
