we explained last week that the first step of being real with hashem is to expect the good because if you really understood that the almighty the infinite being loves us as a father and he has everything everything to him is a dime so he'll give it to us so i want to bring this out a little bit through a beautiful prayer that we say every week in nishmas on shabbos morning and we say the following to you alone we give thanks and then we explain were our mouth as full of song as the sea and our tongue as full of joyous song as its multitude of waves and our lips as full of praise as the breadth of the heavens and our eyes as brilliant as the sun and the moon and our hands as outspread as equals of the sky and our feet as swift as heinz we still could not thank you sufficiently hashem our god and go to our fathers and to bless your name for what for even one of the thousand thousand thousands of thousands of myriad myriads of favors that you performed for our ancestors ancestors and for us and if we just ponder those beautiful words that the rabbis put together in our prayer service for us on shabbat morning that the infinite gifts that hashem that we couldn't even thank you for one of them if you understand that even though the smallest one what goes into the hess the kindness the hashem you put you drink a little water do you know how much kindness there is and how the functioning works wow so when you appreciate all that hashem has given for us he's given you so much so expect expect it again he's given us so much love so much has it so much kindness go through life expecting that your father in heaven who loves you so much right anila dodi vadodi lee i am to my beloved and my beloved is to me the the letters the acronym for the this month ello anila dodi vadodi lee i am for my beloved and my beloved is for me now is the time to appreciate how much the beloved our beloved is for me right how much he's given to us and therefore since he's given us he just wants to give that's what this month in fact l is all about appreciating the almighty just wants to give to us and therefore we should expect the good
