up till now we've dealt with the idea that when we pray we're not just reciting words to hashem but we're actually speaking to an infinite being who's right there who's in front of us who's listening and cares and that caring and is uncut with unconditional love and with an infinite love and we spoke about the idea that somehow that we feel disconnected from that and we need to appreciate all the good things that hashem does for us that we're walking multi-millionaires billionaires without a penny to our name and that when things don't go so well that's also for our growth it's also for us to to to to become better people to use our potential to the full and we spoke about the idea that really free will itself is the greatest gift that hashem gave to us so the fact that there are problems and the fact that hashem doesn't swoop in like superman and just stop whatever it is is part of the gift of being independent that if we if we wouldn't if we wouldn't be able to do anything wrong then there would be no free will right and there would be no greatness to the gift of free will that man gave us and so therefore we said that the the idea that hashem we that we feel internally sometimes that hashem is it doesn't care so much is because to some degree we believe that in the angry wrathful god of the old testament we don't believe in that we're atheist to that concept right we don't believe in that concept of god we believe in that god is an infinitely giving and that's what we have to internalize and therefore we go into prayer trying to be real with all these conflict concepts in fact this is exactly what david meller king david said in to him and sounds when he said and we say this in the ashrae prayer karov hashem hashem is close to all those who call out him all those who call out to him in truth and from here we derive the idea that when we pray to god in a way that's real that we're real with the relationship that he's really there he's really infinite he really cares he really wants to give us everything good if we just would want it and listen to him so therefore and when we do that hashem will answer our prayers so what we're going to do in the coming weeks is speak go through these five different um levels of five different ways to be real with hashem in order to get our prayers answered
