even though Hashem knows what we want
through prayer he gives us an
opportunity to earn the things that we
get and we spoke about the idea that
earning is a greater pleasure than
receiving is to bring out this idea a
little bit more and the consequences of

Hashem could have created the world in a
world in a way and then it's just
perfect we were given and we receive
everything that we need it's a beautiful
world everybody is smiling everybody is
well you have everything the fruits the
the gifts the pleasures it's handed to
you on a platter what we're saying by is
the fact that earning is greater than
receiving means that this world with the
gift of free will even though in my
choices I can choose to do right or
wrong but that world that has a being
that has free will is a greater world
than a world of seeming perfection a
world of beauty award of enjoyment
without earning is nothing compared to
the greatness of the gift that God gave
man he made us in His image with free
will to be like him to earn even though
we can do terrible things without
earning right but the fact that we can
earn and when we do what's good and
what's right we have the pleasure in
this world in the next that world is a
greater world than perfection with
really no meaning as automate UM's that
can just receive pleasure there's no
meaning in that but the greatness of a
world where we can choose to do right or
wrong and sometimes even do wrong is a
greater gift to us than just receiving
it takes a little bit of thought but if
you can understand this point in life it
gives us an opening to realizing
so much about the mysteries of the world
why bad things happen to good people and
how could the vehicle carrying God in a
world of suffering if you just ponder
that and perhaps we'll talk some more
about it think about that a little bit
more that our ability to earn is the
greatest gift that we have even though
it carries within it the opportunity to
God for to forbid make mistakes and do
things that are wrong
