there's a fascinating thing in this week's torah portion when the spies went into the land and they brought back an evil reports one of the things they said is it's a land that eats its inhabitants it's gonna eat us up too why because they saw people burying their dead and you know what when we come into the land we're gonna die too but the famous commentator Rashi tells us that really Hashem was distracting the Canaanites from noticing the spies by having them involved with burying their dead they didn't notice the spies and they didn't cause them trouble and it really was an act of kindness of God to despise and it wasn't a negative there it's a profound lesson for us in life as we go through life and we have different experiences we can often look at them as being negative this is gonna eat me up this is gonna kill me this is gonna harm me when the reality is that we'll see one day that the reality is it wasn't that way it was three or better it was to help you grow therefore we have to train ourselves to look at experiences that can be difficult at times as what is it something what is this giving me how is this helping me grow in what way is this meeting but helping me be a better person if we can reframe and be able to look at our life is everything that's going in the life is an opportunity for me to grow it has a goodness in it that's bring that that will bring out my own personal goodness and betterment as a person if you can go through life and see that then you'll see the kindness in everything then you'll feel the love of Hashem then you'll be a much happier person and when you pray to the Almighty you'll realize the infinite goodness that he has
