It's a corrective force with purpose. >> And a father who's always positive never disciplines just jolly and permissive that's actually doing something negative. >> Exactly. Unbalanced positivity can be harmful. Neglect disguised as kindness. >> So nothing is absolutely good or absolutely bad. >> Correct. Good and bad appear only in context, balance, and effect, not in isolation. >> Banging a hammer on a stone isn't necessarily destruction. It could be the first step in building. >> Right?
