Hello there, Element's tip series and
this time a short guide on how to create
a $100 bill stack mockup in Photoshop.
We'll take the bill scan we have here
and the first thing we'll do is change
its perspective.
Now, pressing the Alt key while
simultaneously pressing the up arrow on
the keyboard will duplicate the layer
for us.
So, we'll repeat the action over and
over until that impressive stack of
Benjamin Franklin's builds up.
Now, we'll grab all the layers together
and skip the top layer. Now, let's merge
the layers. So, we're left with two
layers, one of the bill stack and the
second of a single bill on top.
Let's go back to the bottom layer of the
build stack and mark the thickness of
the bills on the front side.
And we'll go over it with the burn tool
to add a darker look. Now we'll repeat
the action on the thickness of the bills
on the left side.
And this time we'll use the dodge tool
to add a lighter look.
That's how the bill stack gained
dimension.
Now let's move to the layer of the bill
on top.
And we'll add a bend to the top bill
like this on the right side too.
Now we'll go back to the bottom layer
and with the burn tool we'll add a sort
of shadow under the top bill.
Same on the left side.
So we have an inspiring stack of
Benjamin Franklin's
For now, we are simply going to apply a
general shadow effect to the object. But
it is incredibly important to keep in
mind as we reach the end of this
exercise that having one single tangible
real dollar bill in your hand is always
going to be far better than having 200
virtual digital bills sitting on a
computer screen that you cannot actually
spend.
That's all for now. Thank you and we'll
talk again, God willing, in the next
video.
