Peretz Eichler TLS speaks to Residents about ShopRite Lakewood Closing

hi everybody this is Paris barer at sharpr Plaza behind me is a a landmark something that's been here for decades shoppr right which is now about to make its exit and the rumors have flown away and the facts have landed it's going to be going to howl and a new store is going to be opening up I asked people how they felt about this uh this Landmark this uh major part of life here in Lakewood moving from Lakewood to Howell and uh what they thought was going to replace it how do you feel about shoppr closing here in Lakewood yeah I I like here better we got over there to too far you know how do you feel about the shoppr closing here in Lakewood how do you feel about shopright closing in Lakewood how do you feel about shopright moving from Lakewood now makes no difference to me don't like shoppr clothing they uh where would I go for uh for the kosher food uh and I'd rather see if another store comes in it's kosher fine but if not I'm not a happy Trooper which do you think has the greater likelihood of coming in Ven and Jerry's the UN or a large Mega kosher market well you gave the answer kosher market would you be happy about that yeah if you well I I assum be a lot of other stores in there that uh will be kosher so there's one down on Brewers bridge and County Line a big supermarket and uh actually if this is not Kosher or it's clothed I have to be shopping there which haven't to be closer to my house anyway so how do you feel about shopright leaving them not a happy guy the prices are great uh they have a new shop right up on Harmony Road but it's not kosher oh so if a new kosher place moved in you'd be happy yeah okay you might be very happy very soon how do you feel about shopright closing here oh no good it's a I I feel very disturbed it's a very nice place to shop at what do you think the greater likelihood of a store coming in here whether Ben and& Jerry's the United Nations or a large Kosher Supermarket a large koser Supermarket I love it because I live in how and they're moving to hell like all things of Life we'll look back a few weeks from now and then we'll answer the question I don't want to like you guys live very very sad for us this uh I don't know I don't know either one of the things they won't be taking with them to the new store will be the culture experience they will not have a separate culture section so how do you feel about shop right leaving oh I'm I'm sad because uh I've been chopping in you know a long time time 30 years so it's not fair goodbye shop Riot goodbye to Lakewood and welcome to a brand new store that may make a huge difference in the shopping experience this is Paris for high in Lakewood
