Pauline in Madrid, Spain on a quest!

[Music] so my name is Pauline and I used chat. when I went to Madrid Spain and what happened is I went with a bunch of I was studying abroad in Barcelona for a month and I was with one other girl who kept Shabbat with me one of my friends and everyone else the group was not Sher Shabbat so um one weekend all my friends decided we were going to go to Madrid for a weekend and my friend and I who keep we were like what are we going to do for Shabbat so we decided to use shabbat.com there were three families that came up and um we picked one of them it looked like a normal family we we we decided we overestimated our abilities it said that it was a walk so we said that like we're going to come come there and then come back like after the meal is over uh so we take we take the taxi when we go to Madrid we meet this family we knock on a random person's door it's the most like exhilarating experience because you don't know who this is but then they open the door and it's like the most incredible family and they live in Madrid where like in Spain where Jews were they they were kicked out like from the Inquisition and there's like this booming like Jewish light there right now and it was such an inspiring Shabbat and as I said we overestimated our abilities it ended up that this walk from this Shabbat place to back to our hotel room was 3 hours at the end of the day like the family convinced us like this amazing family convinced us that like we can stay over we can sleep over they like set everything up for us we spend the whole Shabbat there it was an incredible experience like I wouldn't trade it for the world and it was all thanks to shabbat.com [Applause] [Music]
